Dr. Kahn is exceptional. For a process that can leave one with a lot of uncertainty and fear, Dr. Kahn is so kind and warm, making you feel heard and taken care of throughout the process. She answered every question thoughtfully and was always quick to reach out with results so that I could hear from her first. This can be a very lonely process for some, so working with a detail oriented and caring doctor is so important - she is the absolute best!

I cant say enough about Dr. Gocial. He makes you feel comfortable and as someone who was at a prior fertility practice, he is absolutely one of the best in the field. If you are just starting your search, look no further and if you are unhappy with your treatment and looking to change doctors - he is the one! I have had many failed attempts with fertility much that had to do with medication protocol. Dr. Gocial doesnt stick to a textbook when treating his patients, he pays attention to how their body responds and treats them accordingly. He is absolutely wonderful and I am extremely thankful for his treatment and expertise.

My husband found this clinic on the internet. We had a planing cycle and planing cycle with pills. Our treatment almost took two months during this time we couldn’t reach them easily. They were never answer their phone unless you waited an half an hour. (At least ) Unfortunately the treatment did not work with us. After two treatments plans I needed to learn what was the next step but they never told me. Still there is no answer from Dr bloom end MLF team. I don’t know why and I also don’t want to know because we started the new plan.

Update, to their lovely message. I emailed the support box & no one wrote back. They sent less than half of my payment. DO NOT RECOMMEND.This place is a for profit organization. My first appt I walked in to the admin talking a bunch of crap on the practice and did not check me in until he was done with his call. Dr Kahn actually very kind. I rushed into IVF out of desperation & lack of movement in my last practice. So despite not having an authorization they decided to charge me for the round and just as I was leaving that day the same admin was on the phone griping again and said people are cancelling. I then spiraled and googled everything mainline, drs, stats, malpractices & decided to cancel the round all less than two days from payment. And all around I was a patient of the practice for 6 days, no authorization for the round had been completed. Alas, 6 weeks later I haven’t received a refund and haven’t heard from my financial counselor in weeks despite many messages. $1,350 is a lot of money for a normal person and astronomical for an infertility patient.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about mainline fertility! I decided to explore freezing eggs and after much research decided to make an apt with MLF.I met with Dr. Gocial who was so kind, thorough, and made himself available for all my questions (without ever making me feel silly). Next, his team at the Philly location were great. They are warm and knowledgeable - you finish your stimulation time and feel like friends! Each step was clearly explained and followed up with written instructions (and all the injections truly aren’t bad and I’m a baby)!Dr. Alexa was the doctor who did my retrieval. Needless to say I was a little nervous the morning of and she had an excellent bedside manner, was thorough, and put me at easy. She made sure to get every egg possible!! My nurse, Stacey who prepped me made it a seamless experience. The entire team at MLF truly care and try to make an overwhelming process, comfortable. It’s clear they know what they’re doing and care about their patients! Thank you to all at MLF!

A doctor…the head doctor at this firm said to my stressed wife…a woman trying to get pregnant….who may have trauma: “stress doesn’t stop you from getting pregnant, PEOPLE WHO GET R@P$D GET PREGNANT.” She walks out immediately. The story: We are patients of Main Line and have even had a successful pregnancy with them, HOWEVER. At this firm, ONLY Dr. Bloom has bedside manner, patience, empathy, and the demeanor it takes to see patients through such a tough, touch and go process. We are back for baby number two and just had an AWFUL experience with Dr. Glassner, the face of MLF. We were simply flabbergasted at his lack of bedside manner, and inability to connect with humans. “On the note of a lack of empathy, I’m outta here.” The quote from him after I let him know his demeanor was tough for this circumstance, especially with such a tense moment (wife crying). He comes back in the office to ask if we were doing the IUI or not. My wife said she was stressed so maybe not. His exact quote: “stress don’t stop anybody from getting pregnant, PEOPLE WHO GET R@P$D GET PREGNANT. My wife stood up and left at that moment.

Caveat: We ended up cancelling our consultation, so we never met with a provider.LGBTQ friendlinessWe initially went with this clinic because they have a pride sticker and website info about their lgbtq friendliness. The medical intake fertility forms were extremely hetero/cis normative with most questions being irrelevant to 2 cis women trying to conceive. They also made us both fill out the forms despite us stating many times that only one of us is carrying. Not a great 1st impression.Communication and organization:1. They didn’t send the forms we needed to complete initially. When they finally sent the forms, we were told we needed to complete them in 3 hours or our appointment would be cancelled. (I was on a flight, it was needlessly stressful. This is not the part of a fertility journey that should be stressful)2. We scheduled a later appointment specifically so we could have an in person consult. They called the day before and switched it to an virtual appointment because they booked us at a location the provider wasn’t present at.In the end, we cancelled our consultation. It did not feel like the right clinic for us.

I had an incredibly negative experience at Main Line Fertility where I felt patronized, judged, and disrespected by Dr. Gocial.First of all, Dr. Gocial called me the evening before my scheduled consult to ask if we could reschedule for an earlier time, as the scheduled time slot would make things tight. I was happy to comply. However, when I called back that evening, I was connected to an answering service and could not leave a message. They suggested I call back when the clinic re-opened at 8am the next day. I woke up early for the express purpose of calling back to reschedule the appointment, but for the next TWO HOURS I continued to receive an automated message saying to call back after 8am and be connected to the answering service who could only tell me to keep trying. When I was finally able to leave a voicemail, it was already 10am, and I had been asked to come in at 11. I received a call back from personnel who hadnt listened to my voicemail but was trying to reschedule me for earlier. When I said I wanted to and had been trying to do that by calling since 8am, there was no reaction whatsoever. No apology or explanation. So that was frustrating, but we got it sorted. I understand that emergencies happen, and it would have been fine if that was all that happened, but that was merely the first of many instances of disrespect. When my husband and I did come in and begin our consult with Dr. Gocial, his attitude was immediately strangely adversarial and condescending. He questioned my every statement about my own chronic health condition, which I have been living with and researching for nearly five years. His questions displayed ignorance while still signaling that he did not believe my knowledge, experience, or intellect. On top of this, every time I asked a question, I felt he would initially disagree, only to end up re-wording what I had said and agree with me minutes later. As a woman, I have encountered this often, but it surprised me to experience it at a fertility clinic. All of that was frustrating, but could have been chalked up to mismatched communication styles, but Dr. Gocial issued one statement I cannot forget or forgive. When he said my PCOS meant that I should be on a diet and exercise, I mentioned that my chronic condition actually did not allow me to exercise, as it actually makes my health worse. He displayed surprise, distrust, and then said that this was like trading one disease for another because that meant that I would assuredly get diabetes.I shut down after that and stopped making eye contact, spending the remainder of the appointment trying not to cry. Once out of the clinic, I broke into tears and my husband and I both expressed our anger and surprise that I would so disrespected and judged at that appointment. While its something I have experienced time and again as an overweight woman with chronic illness, I expected more sensitivity from a fertility clinic.I did write a detailed email to the clinic and Dr. Gocial about my experience, and while I did not find his response satisfactory, their Family Patient Advocate, Alissa, did have a more empathetic and actionable response, saying she would forward my experience to management and discuss it. Still, I will not be returning for tests or further appointments, and that does not affect my negative view or review of the clinic, as in the year 2022 this level of fat shaming, gas lighting, and disrespect should not be displayed at any doctors office, much less one handling patients at a very vulnerable time. I can only hope that my experience leads them to do better by future patients.

I’ve waited a year to write this review, and I couldn’t be happier. I went to Dr. Gocial after a ruptured ectopic and the inability to conceive afterwards. Dr. Gocial let me know from the beginning, we’re going to be aggressive about this if you want but I’m also not going to waste your time or money. He did not lie! Sarah, Stephanie, Barb, EVERYONE put their all into me, we all became fast friends, laughing, joking, celebrating. They answered every single question i had, called to check on me when i ended up in the hospital l, everything. They took care of me. After 2 months of treatment, I got pregnant! Shockingly from the ovary that had no tube and the 1/3 little eggs that he didn’t have super confidence in! She was meant to be here after working so hard! We all joked that it would be a girl after all the trouble and hospital admits- Sarah, Barb… YOU WERE RIGHT! we just celebrated our little girls 2 month birthday. We are so eternally grateful and so in love with our little girl. You guys have no idea what you did for me and John and we are forever in your debt. We’ll be sending pictures soon!

They say first impressions are important for a reason. We had a really good first time experience in the Philadelphia MLF office. Literally everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was polite, friendly, and made us feel welcomed. We have not started fertility treatment with MLF yet, so I cannot speak to their success rates/processes, but Dr. Gocial was thorough and did not rush through the visit with us. I appreciate the welcoming energy from Main Line Fertility, it definitely alleviated some nerves.

Dr. Gocial, Barb, Stephanie and the rest of the staff are amazing and were wonderful to interact with. If you have been trying for a while, using ovulation strips and/or generally stressing trying to get pregnant I would recommend scheduling a visit. The team put my mind at ease (and took a lot of pressure off of my husband and I) after we had been TTC for a while.

My girlfriend has a chronic pain condition and has been either unable to get her medication from these people now twice. They cant seem to coordinate with the pharmacy. Because after not having her medication for a week she was given the wrong prescription and they didnt care. Again, this week, wrong prescription. It is very difficult and unfortunate watching someone you love suffer, all because the people she pays to help her dont seem bothered.
