The nurses and staff were kinda and helpful! Dr. Rasmussen is new to the clinic and she was very kind and gentle, and informed me of all my options and wasnt pushy about anything at all. I came in as a new uninsured patient, was able to make an appointment within a week and the annual exam was $125.Clinic is in building B, once you walk in take the elevator immediately to the right, go to the 2nd floor, and the clinic is the first door immediately to the right once you get off the elevator.
Worst Experience Ever, the front desk staff is patheticExtreme disappointment with the treatment I received during my recent visit to your facility. In previous visits, despite having a scheduled appointment, I have had to wait for over an hour. When I inquired about the delay more than once, the front desk staff responded with dismissive and unprofessional attitudes, making me feel as though I was being unreasonable for simply asking about my appointment status. I let it go thinking someone is not having a good day, it happens sometime.Additionally, I have a comprehensive insurance plan and have met my co-pay deductibles. Despite this, I was incorrectly charged for two visits. When I sought clarification, I was told that the issue could only be addressed at the time of checkout. I requested to settle my account today. The checkout staff member was extremely rude, informing me that I owed over $250 and implying that I had never made any payments, despite my insurance being billed $580 for each visit. When I politely asked for an explanation of the charges, not that I didnt want to pay, but dont I deserve the explanation of the money you are asking me to pay. The staff member abruptly walked away, refusing to provide any assistance and making the situation so uncomfortable, raising the voice, making faces, etc, also stated, This is not my job, just give the damn money, The finance person is on leave. Contact her when she is back, but pay today. This statement was so rude, that every time you come you dont pay as if my insurance is not paying and they are doing the charity. What a shame to experience such nuance when you need the most care and respect. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. It is disheartening to be treated in such a manner, especially during a time as significant in our pregnancy. While my doctor has been satisfactory, the overall experience with your facility has been so negative that I am relieved to be relocating.I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues to improve the service for future patients. It is crucial that all patients are treated with respect and professionalism.
My first experience with Womens Specialist was outstanding. I am a woman of a certain age, who has been experiencing menopausal symptoms for many years. To speak with someone who understood those issues and offered new ideas and relief, is just too exciting for words! I am so glad to have found this womens specialist group😊
I absolutely love Dr Desai, and have seen her for the past 6 years. She’s friendly and patient and overall a great doctor. However, the reason this practice is not getting a 5 star is b/c of the mediocre front office staff. They are either overworked or just aren’t happy being there. It’s rare they greet patients with a smile. In addition, the office is always busy and wait time for appointments are long (think 6+ months for an appointment).
I am not one to write reviews, but my most recent visit was something I do not wish to any other woman. This practice is great, staff are nice and helpful. Yet, my most recent visit ruined my day. Ever since Dr. Bagdhassarian left I had to choose a new doctor. I saw nothing but amazing reviews about Dr. Foster, so I chose her. When I met with her, I immediately noticed in her face she did not want to be there. I had SO many questions about my birth control, but every question I asked her seemed to be an inconvenience for her. I decided to stop asking, and now I will have to make a new appointment with another doctor just to ask the questions Dr. Foster did not bother answering. At one point she answered my question with the phrase And what do you want me to do about that?. Luckily, it is the only problem Ive ever had with this practice, as my previous visits have always been positive ones.
I am highly disappointed with the care I received here. Let me just start by saying that I was a brand new patient to this clinic who has had multiple referrals because of how good they are. I went for my very first pregnancy appointment last week and was appalled at how things were handled. First off, I was told by the MA on two different occasions that the doctor and the OB coordinator were both at lunch and she wasn’t sure they would have time to see me this appointment. Then, Dr Desai did not spend more than 2 minutes with me, did not ask me any questions, nor let me ask any questions. She told me congratulations I’ll call in two prescriptions for you and then said nice to meet you and left the room. Again, I have never been pregnant before and was hoping to get some of my questions answered. Then after being transferred in and out of the waiting room 4 different times, I finally met with the OB coordinator who was so rude and had such a bad attitude with me for no reason. Gave me a packet to read and papers to sign and wanted me out the door. Since I didn’t get to speak with the Dr I told her I had some questions on supplements I’ve been taking and wanted to see if she could look at them, she told me yes she is the one to ask. I then showed her pictures of what they were and her immediate answer was “no. I don’t know what those are so no, you can’t take them”. I was hoping to leave feeling excited and instead left feeling like I never wanted to return to their office again and found care elsewhere.
My Doctor is Dr. Desai and she is one of the most amazing Doctors I’ve her had the pleasure of knowing - she’s just all around a sweet person and she truly cares about her patients. I’ve never felt rushed with her, always felt safe and just truly happy to have her as my healthcare provider. She’s been seeing me for about 3 years and recently supported me throughout a pregnancy and nothing changed during and after with how awesome she was. All other Drs and nurses I’ve had to see as an offset to Dr. Desai were just as amazing. The entire staff here is absolutely amazing, as well. They are such sweet people and are always welcoming and quick to get you taken care of. I call them all my baby’s Office Aunties lol! Would definitely recommend this location and providers here.
Just called for an appointment. The young lady that answered the phone wax rude and short. I would be a new patient. This was a big turn off. Dr Chikara Foster-retting is leaving the end of the month. Instead of her leading with that she was trying to schedule. Now if I am a new patient why would I want to see a Dr that is leaving. Worse customer service ever.
First time patient and I had an excellent experience. The provider took the time to hear about my concerns and address all my questions. So happy with the care and bedside manner. 100% recommend.
I and my family just moved to TX from AL. So in looking for a GYN that specializes in menopause I found this group. The staff was great; they were helpful even when I got lost and couldn’t find the building (lol). The PA, Heather, took plenty of time with me and made sure she answered all questions, ordered all tests needed and gave referrals to other doctors I may need in th future. Was a great experience. Thanks to each of them for being genuine and caring.
Kat is Dr.Coronado’s PA was absolutely wonderful! I had some personal concerns and she put my mind at ease. Very knowledgeable, very kind, just the best!
I had my second appointment with Ms.Cat yesterday and I’ve felt very comfortable both times I’ve seen her. She is very sweet and caring and won’t rush you through your appointment. The front desk ladies are also really nice. I would definitely recommend this place!
My wife and I are very pleased with Dr. Mooken’s care as well as the whole staff. Everyone is kind, friendly, and in good spirits every time we visit. Shoutout to the reception/front desk staff for playing good music quietly in the background!
I have been seeing Dr. Desai for probably at least 8-10 years now. I have never had an issue until today. I agree with many of the other reviews that say something has changed. I did not feel good after my apt. I was so upset with how it all went I actually cried on the way home. I was there for my annual pap. I also had questions about stopping birth control as well as some other health concerns. I gave my concerns to the nurse or assistant (she was very sweet by the way). Dr. Desai came in, did her thing with minimal small talk and then sort of just left. I thought she would come back but she didnt. I had to ask for her to come back so I could have my questions answered. I have recently gained weight which I am very sensitive about and I made that known. Though I do believe it was meant to be out of care for me and my health, Dr. Desai asked me to think about trying Ozempic or any of the other weight loss drugs. I was really put off by that. I do understand as a Doctor she is responsible for expressing her concerns over my overall health. However, I was a bit upset my weight was even brought up considering I asked to not discuss it. I am aware I am overweight, and I know what I need to do about it. She also talked over me and didnt let me finish my questions or thoughts. She barely even looked at me and sort of made faces while I was explaining some of the concerns I had. Almost as if she wasnt taking my concerns seriously. I know they were very busy, there were countless pregnant women in the waiting room. But just because I am not pregnant doesnt mean I dont deserve the same amount of time as any other patient. Dr. Desai used to spend a good amount of time answering my questions and today I saw her for maybe 2-3 minutes total. She just seemed way too busy for me. Id like to think it was just a busy day and she had a lot to do but I dont know. I honestly dont know if I will go back. I may just ask my PCP to do my Pap from now on.Id welcome the chance to speak with Dr. Desai about this but I dont know if I call the office if she would make time for me.As a side note, the staff is always so pleasant and kind. Never have any issues with them.8/29/2024 Update: Hillary the Clinical Manager called me to apologize for my experience and hear my side of the story. She asked me to explain what happened and my thoughts on how they could improve. I did not feel like it was call to get me to change my review, but instead it felt like she really wanted to resolve the issue. She listened to every word I had to say and seemed genuine in her responses. I thank Hillary for reaching out. I still havent decided if I will go back, but I do feel heard by Hillary and Dr. Desai. Thank you!
I have been going to this practice for years now! I recommended every woman looking for excellent care to come here, when asked also. Unfortunately, after my last experience, I am so extremely disappointed that I am leaving a review.I needed an appointment sooner than later this past week, as I was having some strange symptoms and I was scared of a kidney infection since the pain was intense my pelvic region and back. A nurse called me and was able to fit me in within the hour. I explained I had an 8 week old and my 1.5 yo in my care so I would be struggling to get there on time. She said no worries. Take your time. Once you get here I can help.So with travel time and trying to get everybody prepared to get out of the house with less than an hour to prepare, I get there exactly at the 15 minute window past my appointment. I am clearly struggling in the door. The front desk lady was extremely rude. Told me she would have to ask if I could still be seen. She returns to tell me that no one could see me. I explained the conversation I had with the nurse and that I tried my best to get there on time. She continued to be rude and tell me “sorry to hear that.” Ironically, my entire pregnancy, when showing up on time, I sat in the waiting room for 30+ past my appointment time almost every single appointment. No worries when it’s my time being wasted and they are not on time. Anyway, it turns out there was a doctor waiting and available for me the entire time. I found that out because promptly after leaving their office in tears, I received a call informing of this. So at this point all they could is prescribe me an antibiotic and hope it would help me. Well, it didn’t. Turns out the antibiotic is extremely strong and has lasting side effects even after discontinued use. Which due to suffering most of the scary side effects I did discontinue the use. Therefore we are now at 3 days past this appointment nightmare and I still have not been properly diagnosed or treated. This experience will result in me finding a different practice. One who has friendly and compassionate front desk staff especially when it comes to urgent matters. I completely understand being timely. I was concerned from the beginning that I wouldn’t get there on time and explained that. They said don’t worry, just get there asap, because I needed an exam and all that ended up happening was unnecessary stress and an unnecessary trip, struggling to get a colicky baby and napping toddler into the office all to turn around and have to lug them back into the car while in pain and continue to suffer the entire weekend because clearly their front desk lady was having a bad day and wanted to take it out on me!
Dr Catherine Gurley has helped me in ways no other doctor had been able to. I’ve been dealing with terrible debilitating headaches and body aches since I was a teen. I’m now 52 yrs old. She discovered it was all hormonal. She prescribed some medication that has changed my entire state of being. Ive been pain free for the first time in decades. She truly changed my life! Thank you so much! 😭♥️
I do not recommend this place to anyone expecting. They will charge you for EVERYTHING even if the delivery was not as planned. My Dr. (Dr. Bagdasarian) whom I was working with forever couldn’t even deliver my baby when it came time. Everyone is rude and unprofessional. Please email me an itemized statement with every single charge “I owe”.
First visit and it was very informative. Check in process was smooth and I didn’t wait long before being taken to the exam room.Dr Dang was both knowledgeable and kind.
I would not go here for other than standard routine exams and/or normal pregnancies. I had fibroids and was told to have a hysterectomy at every visit. They didn’t ask what I wanted, if I wanted to have children, etc. It was a very dismissive experience from Dr. Desai and I wouldn’t recommend them if you have fibroids. You shouldn’t have to continually advocate for your health based on research of other options. I found another doctor that specialized in this and I didn’t have a hysterectomy. This dr asked questions on what I wanted and let me know my options. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the care that treats the whole person from Dr Desai. I’m glad I got a second opinion and found better care.
I have been going to Womens Specialists of Plano for over 10 years and they are excellent! Highly recommend them for women any age!
I was there with my wife today, there was a procedure, it was a biopsy, and we were really worried. Once we tried to check out, you guys asked me to pay for %10 of the overall procedure, and when I asked why I need to pay, the explanation from a lady called Sandrew was really disappointing and discouraging. I could have made a scene and not paid, however, I did not want to add extra stress on my wife. You have really nice doctors like Mrs. Desai, but I suggest that you look into the training of the billing lady as to how you can contact and deal with the customers.
I have been going here for a short time, but so far so good. I like the doctor and staff. Clean and comfortable.
I have been a client for many years and am so impressed with the caring focus that Dr. Baghdassarian provides to his patients. He is thorough and knowledgeable and takes time to answer patient concerns. I also appreciate how friendly and supportive the staff are in scheduling appointments, and providing other services such as lab work and mammogram services. Its wonderful to be able to do everything in one visit.
The doctor was so nice and kind. She was super helpful and very informative!! 10/10 experience
From check in to check out, my experience was great! Dr. Coronado and Heather are both awesome. The hormone replacement pellets have changed my life for the better. The front desk team and nurses are always smiling and upbeat. I always have a great experience! Thank you all!
Dr. Coronado is absolutely the best. She diagnosed my pain, gave me all of my surgical options, and took excellent care of me. She listens to everything I say and doesn’t rush through our appointments. She speaks in a way that’s relatable and eases anxiety/fears with regards to treatment. I’ve told her countless times that if she were ever to drop my insurance I’d change my insurance so I can keep her! If you’re looking for excellent care and an expert in robotic and minimally invasive surgical options she’s the one. She even has YouTube videos so you know what to expect. I can’t say enough good things about her. The office is also well organized, and the staff is respectful. Best doctor ever!
Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Coronado and she was wonderful! One star off because the office was running behind and I had to wait about 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. But I know things happen, especially with an afternoon appointment. Overall a great experience!! Dr C seemed caring, personable and knowledgeable.
UPDATE: My eyes are flooded with tears as I write this review. I decided to leave my Ob/Gyn of 7+ years so that I could become a patient of Dr. Elizabeth Coronado.Looking back now, Dr. Coronado was the only physician who helped me during my hour of need. In the last several years, I had irregular, excessive menustral bleeding to the point where I began to suffer from massive iron deficiency anemia. The Covid-19 vaccines are what exacerbated my heavy bleeding. After having constant 18 day menstrual cycles, my body became so weak that I thought I would need a wheelchair or crutches to assist me...life became so debilitating and unbearable at times.Thank God 💖 that I decided to turn the page and see a surgeon because thats when the blessing came for me.Within 5 minutes of my 1st appointment, Dr. Coronado reviewed my medical images and also took my history. She knew exactly what was wrong with me and offered to solve the problem. Dr. Coronado provided a safe, judgment-free zone where I could open up to her about the concerns of my body. I was naturally beyond terrified of major surgery but decided to trust her upon a leap of faith. This was the best decision I have ever made...she performed 2 major Robotic surgeries seamlessly on me over the course of 10 months. I will never have another menustral cycle again because of her. She called my family immediately after the surgery and provided an update while I was in the Recovery room. This kind of care by a surgeon is truly remarkable, as doctors have been through so much stress due to the pandemic. Best of all, she treated me like a friend during the entire process rather than like an appointment. Love you tons Dr. Coronado!! Thanks for being a hero to me. I wish every doctor was like you. You are the most loving, intelligent, and crafty surgeon that I have ever met. God Bless you always!! ♥️
Very good visit. This was my first time with Dr Rasmussen and I found her to be warm, knowledgeable and good listener. When you have to change doctors it is nice to feel comfortable with the new doctor. She made me feel comfortable.
Too much of wait time.. checked in for 2.10 appointment… was called in 10 mins.. dr took 15 mins to come in.. i was ok with this amount of wait time because I understand sometimes happens..but than waited more than 45 mins for blood work..😓
I very much enjoyed meeting all the staff at Women’s Speciaists of Plano. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to Dr. Coronado herself through checkout we’re great and friendly and courteous. My friends gave me glowing reviews of the practice and Dr. Coronado and I could see why! Thank you!
The staff here are very kind. I am new, and only been here a couple of times. I chose Dr. Rasmussen as my gynecologist and so far been very pleased with her patience and professionalism. I really appreciate health care providers who take the time to educate and listen to their patients.
I dont know where to start. I see that Dr. Coronado has good reviews from a few people, but my daughter and I had the worse experience with her. My daughter is only 21 and has never visited a gynecologist, so this was her very first visit. She is very shy, very quiet and do not like to talk to people about her personal things, especially to someone that she does not know. It took me all I had to convince her to visit the doctor for her health problem. I understand she is an adult and that she needs to be proactive on her healthcare. I figure I would go with her being her first time and she could start feeling comfortable on going by herself going forward. I was planning on telling the doctor about the family health history, so that she could take in consideration that when making her evaluation. She basically told me that she was needing to talk to my daughter not me and went on to shame my daughter about being and adult and not taking the lead on her healthcare. I could tell my daughter was so uncomfortable and upset by the way she was talking to her that she was all teared up. This doctor has NO bedside manner for young girls that have never been to a gynecologist before. I was going to schedule an appointment for me to see her as well after my daughters appointment, but we will not go back to her again, not even for the test results of the blood work. Very rude!!!
Dont bother calling here!Refused to give me an appointment to bring my daughter in after finding out I have an insurance they dont take. No problem at all, I will pay out of pocket! Oscar insurance isnt widely accepted, or many providers have stopped using Oscar, so this has unfortunately become the norm with many providers and I have become accustomed to self-pay.The receptionist had to check to see if they could schedule me as a self-pay patient and advised they wont see me at all, even if I self-pay, because I have Oscar insurance. Seriously?! Ive never heard of this type of discrimination before or being refused care for this reason. Unacceptable!
Absolutely love the office and the staff. Dr. Cat really knows what shes talking about! Ive gone to countless doctors since I was 16 (24, nearly) for a diagnosis and Dr. Cat was the first and only doctor to listen to me and actually hear me. She will definitely be my main from now on!
I love this practice and Dr. Dang is amazing! She was my OBGYN for my pregnancy and she always made me feel really comfortable and answered all my questions without seeming bothered. I had to have a small spontaneous procedure in the office recently and she was super informative, told me what she was doing as she did it, and I felt very safe and calm with her. Highly recommend!
Everyone in the office is always so nice! They always run pretty much in time. Dr. Desai is so great and I love working with her. She has helped me so much in the year I have been with her with things I have dealt with for the last 10 years without help.Yesterday, I went for a six month check but thought it was my annual. She was able to complete my annual anyways, get me with the technician for my mammogram, and get my blood work done. And I still made it to my next appointment in time. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!
Very happy to have found a new doctor here! This practice is the absolute greatest and Id recommend anyone I know to see Dr. Coronado. They are professional, and also down to earth so I felt really comfortable that I was in good hands- as well as comfortable talking about my issues. I left confident in knowing all about my health. Cant say enough about the staff here! 10 stars.
NP Heather is amazing! She’s easy to talk to, efficient and genuinely cares for her patients. I’ve received great care from Dr. Dang over the years and now feel confident and comfortable seeing another member of the team.
This was my fourth visit with Dr. Baghdasarrian and will be my last.My first 3 visits with him were wonderful. The office is modern and clean and the rest of the staff is pleasant and professional. He was friendly , listened to me and was proactive in checking my hormone and iron levels. We previously discussed my NOT wanting a hysterectomy since my symptoms , while annoying , were not to the point where I wanted or needed one. He seemed understanding . I have seen too many gynecologists over the years so I was relieved to have found someone who agreed to just monitor my symptoms. At my last visit, he ordered labs to check my iron/ferritin levels as well as my hormones again. At this follow upI had an ultrasound scheduled to measure my fibroids since they had given me pain for the second time in 5 years. I was no longer having pain so the ultrasound was to monitor.Everything at the office went well until he entered the room. It was a complete 180 in terms of his behavior. He came in and said my labs were wonderful. I no longer was anemic and my hormones were just fine. He wasn’t giving any eye contact though. Then he started to tell me how big my fibroids were and how a hysterectomy is the treatment. I pivoted to talk about my occasional urinary incontinence and he said “ WHEN you get the hysterectomy we put in a bladder sling” …I stopped him to correct that it isn’t WHEN, it’s IF. He became visibly annoyed. He mentioned me being afraid of the surgery and I again corrected him that I wasn’t afraid of the surgery per se, but how the surgery will affect my other organs , specifically my intestines. My gastrointestinal doctor warned me about how hysterectomies affect the intestines and he became more nasty when mentioned this and said “well maybe your Gastro doctor can do your hysterectomy !” He went on and told me I would suffer for two years untilMenopause and began to ramble off how he has done thousands of surgeries if I don’t get the surgery I will be anemic again, have kidney and liver and heart problems. At this point I knew I wouldn’t be returning because I realized that there was only a certain amount of visits until they EXPECTED a hysterectomy payday.Left with a really bad taste. Such a shame because I thought this one was a keeper.
Took an hour and a half before the doctors got to me, however, past that point the customer service was insanely good. The doctors treat you as an equal and explain things to you as if you are a friend, rather than freak you out with too much info. Non-judgmental and both the lady who gave me my arm implant and the lady who drew my blood did it quick and easy.
I have been a patient of Dr. Elizabeth Coronado for the past 10 years, give or take. She is very knowledgeable and comforting and has straight forward bedside manner, which is appreciated. I also work in the Healthcare industry and I feel like I am being treated as a peer as well as a patient. And the staff, there isnt enough space to tell you how fabulous ALL the staff is! I was arguing with my insurance because of some plan differences and was nervous about the procedure being covered. The staff was on my side every step of the way, and allowed me to cancel the appointment the day of when I wasnt sure. And then they even helped me verify my own benefits to ensure the procedure is truly covered. And I felt comfortable with my benefits.I have my next appointment in two weeks and even though I am not looking forward to the procedure, I feel at ease knowing that the staff is 100% behind me. They always make me feel like they are on my side, which is believe is a lost art. Lastly, sometimes the appointments can be far out in advance but they are all worth it.Thank you Dr. Coronado and thank you to all of the staff at Womens Specialists of Plano Obstetrics & Gynecology! Top notch and keep up the great work!
Top tier, especially in this era of where people are having a hard time finding health care providers/offices where you feel as if you actually matter. Staff is pleasant, warm, knowledgeable and welcoming, facility is CLEAN and I’m grateful for their overall service. I did not get to see the wonderful Dr. Shuchi Deasai but I was well taken care of by PA Catherine Nipper. Keep up the great service, it’s appreciated!
UPDATE: Well, the honeymoon is over. It has taken me a while to write this review as I am not a negative person. I completely understand that emergencies take precedent over a routine check up. That being said, it is unacceptable to be treated rudely. After waiting in the exam room for some time, the nurse came in and asked if I would be willing to see a nurse practitioner because Dr. Coronado was behind due to an emergency. I politely declined as I only see her once every two years. She left the room. A few minutes later, Dr. Coronado entered the room. She was curt and abrupt. She rushed through my yearly exam. When I asked if she had any recommendations for a primary care physician, she grabbed a piece of paper out of a folder and slammed it on the counter. The entire exam took 10-15 minutes. No one deserves to be treated in this manner by anyone let alone a professional. Back to the drawing board.Original review: It is always a struggle searching and choosing a new doctor. From the moment I walked in I was treated with kindness and respect. Dr. Coronado was friendly and professional. She put my worries at ease. I have found a new home!
Dr. Coronado is an excellent doctor and her PA, Christen, is so sweet & wonderful! I feel 100% confident in the care that they both provide for me! The rest of the staff are very kind and professional and my appointment is always on time! I highly recommend this office!
This was my first appointment with Dr. Rasmussen after having my gynecologist of many years, Dr. Monier, retire. I was very well impressed with Dr. Rasmussen, who was very thorough and offered good suggestions. Happy to recommend her!
At the time of my appointment on 10/12 I was a little put off by one of the ladies at the front desk. After posting my review to google, Ive had several people reach out this morning (10/13) regarding this and everyone has been amazing. They seem to really care about patient experience, and were very polite. I see Dr. Reamy (PA) and absolutely love her! She also is very caring and actually takes the time to listen to any problems or concerns you address with her. I moved almost an hour north of the office and will still make that drive to see her. Overall I feel my concerns were not taken lightly and will be addressed, and I am very pleased with the service of everyone else in the office.
Absolutely unbelievable! This is my third experience with this office, guest time experience was awful. The doctor turned my opinion around. When i found out I was pregnant I decided to see the same doctor. After a bad pregnancy experience before I wanted to see the doctor at 6 weeks, I was paying cash for this visit. However i was denied an appointment because Im not 8 weeks. When i spoke to the office manager and explained that I am the patient I had a bad experience previously I am paying for the appointment I should be seen when I choose to be seen sir got sensitive and accused me of yelling at her. When i asked to speak to who was above her she simply stated there is no one higher than her. She was the topnof the line. Unless she owns the clinic then that isnt possible. As a woman who wasnt listened to in my last pregnancy which resulted in a stillbirth at 35 weeks it is unacceptable to have a Dr office refusing to listen this early on. If I want to be seen and pay at 6 weeks that should be my right. This office has done nothing but put a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldnt see them for my pregnancy now even if you paid me. Unacceptable this day in age womens health is a joke. This is why statistics for womens mortality rate during pregnancy is so high in the US.
Terrible experience with the administrative assistants. Kept us waiting 2 hours one time and another 40 min. They said they will email receipts or call you and never do.Decided to change doctors and best desition ever.
I do not have enough WONDERFUL things to say about Womens Specialists of Plano and Dr. Coronado! As someone who has severe health anxiety, having my first child was a very scary thing for me and I could not have done it without Dr. Coronados compassionate and professional care. She was so encouraging and straightforward with me and made me feel safe, cared for and confident. She always has a smile on her face and works incredibly hard for her patients. She spoke to me as a human and not just a patient or another number. She was always incredibly thorough and detailed at each appointment and during my entire labor and delivery. Dr. Coronado will also make you laugh and feel at ease each time you see her. She holds a special place in my heart after everything she has done for me and our healthy baby. The practice itself is wonderful and I am so thankful we chose to come here. Every doctor, nurse and employee I ever talked to was wonderful. Rachel always helped with anything I ever needed, Dr. Dang and Dr. Baghdassarian were incredibly kind when I had to see them as well. Kristen was also very kind and helpful and I enjoyed having appointments with her as well. I will recommend Womens Specialists of Plano to all of my family and friends and look forward to our future going to this doctors office!
I Love the new location and the entire team, from the greeting, to the checkout process - all of them are amazing! Some of the best customer relations I have seen in a very long time! Thank you for treating me right for over 8 years now! It feels great to feel like more of a friend, than just a patient.
Dr. Foster-Rettig was absolutely amazing, her attention to detail and caring bedside manner made me feel at ease. I was in and out in less than an hour.
The staff that works here are absolutely amazing! I came here in search of an obgyn to deliver my first child and I’m happy with the choice I made. Dr. Foster-Retting is highly recommended and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She truly takes the time to listen to your needs; it’s apparent how much she cares about her patients. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you ladies for everything!
Dr. Bagdassarian listened to my health concerns, and was very resourceful in addressing my health issues and providing me with the corrective measures for a healthier lifestyle. Im very grateful for his time and listening to what my concerns were. I genuinely felt his caring concerns for what was best for me as his patient. Im so happyy I selected him as my doctor.
Dr Coronado is absolutely the Greatest! She is sincerely caring and listens and doesnt rush. She is knowledgeable and takes time to listen to you and makes you feel comfortable. She is not only the best Doctor I have been to but the best person as well.
I have seen by 5 specialists and some were international, if I would have listened to those who diagnosed me right now I will be in a constant pain and possible hysterectomy in the future. But the best decision I have made is followed Dr. Baghdassarians diagnosis and treatment plan. With his knowledge and advancement in surgical technologies I am pleased to say that the surgery was successful. Thank you Dr. Baghdassarian for always being available when you can to answer all medical related questions. Thank you for everything that you have done and make the best medical decision to keep my healthy and avoid future complication. Cannot thank you enough!
Dr Coronado has been my Dr for over 15 Yrs & she is the best. I moved 2 hrs away & stll have her as my Doc. When you find a Dr that you love & Trust as much as I do Dr Coronado, a 2 he trip is worth it.
I love this office. Everyone is so kind and personable, but theyre efficient and organized at the same time. Dr. Desai is knowledgeable and personal, she will get you in and out and on with your life after your appointments unless you have questions. If you do, she will take the time to speak with you and understand what youre concerned or confused about. I highly recommend this entire office.
I started seeing Dr. Monier at the beginning of my first pregnancy and the whole experience was amazing. He was attentive to my questions and concerns. He is very professional, but was fun and made us feel very comfortable. The office staff and nurses are incredible. Everyone is kind and personable. I’ll miss not being up there every other week for an appointment. Highly recommend.
I have been a patient here for a few years and have had numerous great experiences! The office staff is professional and kind and Doctor B is straight-forward, science-based in decision making, and empathetic!
I just started to go to this location. The doctors are great and so are the nurses but the wait time is so long each time I had my appointments. One time I waited almost 45 mins from my appointment time to see my doc. I even had to ask the front desk to check with the doctor. Th next time my appointment was at 9:40 but did not see my doctor until 10:20. I also had to go and ask if I was still waiting to see my doctor instead of someone coming to inform me anything. I am a working mom and I make appointments between my meetings. It is so unpredictable with this place as they cannot commit to the appointment time.
I’m trying to get appointment but no one calls me back . They messed up my appointments several times . I believe i gave too many chances after Dr Greebon retired. Im definitely looking for new obgyn after 20 years. Not recommending for anyone.
Dr. desai is the sweetest doctor and does not make you feel rushed. Answers all questions. She delivered my first and had a great experience.
Dr. David Baghdassarian is great! This was my first visit and generally had good experiences with him. Every member of the staff is polite and respectful. They conveniently have in-office lab work, so you dont have to go anywhere else to have your blood drawn. He asked questions and really cared about the answers and concerns I was giving him. I am so happy i found someone I feel comfortable with who made this experience easy. I definitely recommend him to anyone else.
I have stopped coming to this facility, Dr. Dang was out on maternity leave so her Doctor’s Assistant saw me instead for some chronic pain that I was experiencing. I explained to her my pain and her immediate response was… “ I can’t give you opioids.” First of all, she assumed that I wanted medication which I never asked for. And why immediately go to opioids anyway, she didn’t mention Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I am a young black women, so I guess her underlying bias came out in that visit. I haven’t been back.
Thirty five years of great experiences with these doctors. Can’t recommend more highly. New offices are beautiful too! Thank you Dr Coronado and Heather for a great seamless relationship through the births of my two children and beyond!
Terrible terrible doctor completely blew me off and would not even try to find out what is wrong. I have a history of ovarian cyst and PCOS, been diagnosed by multiple doctors but no treatment has worked. I came here hoping to finally get the issue fixed, in the past I have gotten additional hormones on top of the birth control which sometimes help or get told to take Tylenol. I did an ultra sound there first before she would see me and the tech was at least nice and knowledgeable but the tech told me she could not get a good view of anything due to bowels in the way, that she would tell the doctor, she also mentioned about functional cysts that they refill after rupture and mentioned a few things that were in line with my experience. The doctor comes in and says everything looks perfect (even though the tech could not even get a good view) and then also said I dont have anything wrong with me not even PCOS since the ultrasound looks so good despite multiple doctors telling me. I made this appointment after having to go to an urgent care after a cyst ruptured, I have also had to receive blood in the past for cyst rupturing and bleeding out too much. I tell her this and she still insists everything is fine. I just want to stop getting sick from this and stop the pain, I can grow facial hair and my hair is falling out but everything is perfect. She does not listen at all and even tried saying well maybe the problem is the colon why would I keep getting random vaginal bleeding from that. She then also tried to say well if were PCOS then I need to exercise more (I work out at least two hours a day, low body fat%/ have visible abs and look like an athlete) even the previous doctors I have went to for PCOS say this and never pulled that, what am I supposed to do lose all muscle mass and drop to being dangerously underweight? I walked out after that since she just does not listen at all and have never seen a doctor that clearly did not care as much as her. I was hoping to find a doctor who was willing to treat me other than tell me to take Tylenol but she was even worse than those doctors, at least those dont try to say there is no problem.
I really liked dr Dang and her office stuff, untill todays experience. I asked to remove my IUD at todays appointment and went through terrible experience. Doctor pulled the string out of the IUD and the whole IUD stayed inside. Instead of scheduling another appointment with sonogram, she pored iodine inside of my cervix, and BLINDLY was trying to get it out poking sides of of my cervix listening to me screaming from pain. After a few attempts to get it out without knowing where it is located and trying to get it out - she suggested to do another appointment with Sonogram or FULL BODY ANESTHESIA.What I got as a result from his visit is burnt vagina and sharp pain in my cervix from who knows what she did there. Noone cared I was in pain. All I was told i might be bleeding today.Office stuff was rude, laughing at me being upset from what happened and trying to find an exit in a wrong direction. Never coming back to this place again. My friend who recommended this place to me was informed about what happened and not going to be visiting dr Dang either. Please avoid this place, these people dont know what they are doing
This practice gets 2 thumbs up from me. Dr. Coronado is wonderful! She is personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am a new patient, and immediately noticed a difference in her compassionate approach & expertise vs. my previous OBGYN. I feel very confident & at ease being under her care. Staff is friendly- check-in/out was seamless and smooth. So happy with my experience thus far!
Literally the worst doctors here. The male Dr I had talked down to me, talking to me as if Im 10 years old and I havent been having monthly periods for 2 decades. He said cramps are only a bad as you make it. Yeah, okay buddy. He told me women are meant to have babies, thats what our purpose (as women) is for.I had an ablation done, & not even a year later Im having periods again. I knew he wouldnt do it right. He was so unprofessional and was SO against me getting it done, I just KNEW he was gonna screw it up. He got so heated over the decision I was doing on MY body, he was at yelling level. Literally the worst experience here. Im no longer coming here for my yearly check up. Get with the times, this isnt 1950s anymore where woman just stay home and birth children.
I love Dr. Coronado and her staff. As a working mom, scheduling my own appointments can be challenging with my busy schedule. Women Specialists of Plano make it easy to get excellent, efficient and personal care. I especially appreciate getting all of my preventative care right there at one visit. Priceless! Thank you!!
Ive been a patient for the past year. Dr. Coronado is the best GYN Ive ever had. She really listens to you and treats you with so much care and respect. I feel so comfortable at this facility, from the front desk staff, to Kristin the PA, to the nurses and Dr. Coronado, everyone really truly cares about your health.Yes wait times can be long, but not longer than your typical doctors office.
Can’t say I’m upset anymore that my other doctor stopped taking my insurance so I came here. This place is great! I see Dr. Desai mostly and she’s the sweetest woman. I saw the PA, Christen, recently and she was just as nice and helpful. They’re quick here but still make sure you’re comfortable. I was in and out in about 15 mins I think this last time. Love it.
I’ve been seeing PA Reamy since the beginning of the year and I literally never want to switch offices. She’s always so patient with my questions, and trust me I have plenty. She always pays attention and is very reassuring. She’s a great addition to the medical field, while she is so friendly and fun, she is also very professional. Her MA Taylor is great and has such a great personality, we talk like we’ve been friends for years! They are super competent and timely. They’re a great team and make my visit there so comfortable and quick and are always super welcoming. While placing my IUD they were both talking to me and walking me through step by step, and we’re very great at coaching me through it cause I’m dramatic lol. 10/10 would recommend this office and this staff!!The only problem I’ve ever had is with phone calls and actually getting to speak with someone, but that’s with most offices and they typically call back when they are able to.
My first visit here was a great experience, I got to do all my paper work online. Had an appointment and waited a little longer, but I get it there busy and everyone needs to be seen. I saw doctor David Baghdassarian and he was very professional, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. He gave me a physical, Pap smear, put me on a weight loss program, and allowed me to get blood work done. Everything was taken care of on one visit. I’m a very pleased patient.Thank you Womens Specialist of Plano!
This place is wonderful! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by everyone with such kindness. Dr. Foster - Rettig is thorough in her practice with a bedside manner that puts you at ease right away. I’m so thankful to have found my new provider and highly recommend her!
I really appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. While appointments had backed up, the nurses very politely helped me understand what was going on. The facility was very clean and well-maintained. Additionallly, the doctor I saw, Dr. Elizabeth Coronado addressed my concerns and took the time to listen to all of my questions. Would recommend.
It was my first time at this location. I got a chance to meet a new gynecologist named Dr. Foster Retrig. She was fantastic! Her views and ideas on how to get my hormone therapy under control was a huge success for me. She so nice and extremely knowledgeable on all things related to the aging females. Dr. Foster has such a positive outlook on helping you find the best treatment for your hormonal needs. Thank you so much Dr. Foster Rettig. It was really great meeting you. ☺️ See you again soon!
Kat was amazing! Loved her communication style. She was very thorough and explained everything in detail. Truly a warm and caring lady.
This was the best OBGYN of my life. Dr. Cornando is compassionate and knowledgeable! I drove 5 hours to see this Dr. on her reputation alone. It was worth the trip! She took more time then most to answer every question! I am so thankful for her!
I absolutely love Dr Baghdassarian! He is the most amazing doctor I have ever had in Texas! He is thorough, kind, very intelligent, and takes the time to really listen to you, your concerns, and gets to know you as a person. He never rushes you out of the room, and you know that he actually cares about you and your health. I wish all of the men in our lives were like this! 😉 His staff is very nice and helpful. I don’t have one negative word to say about any of them! It is truly a pleasure to deal with them & to have Dr Baghdassarian as my doctor. I would never go anywhere else! Thank you for everything! Keep up the wonderful work! I appreciate it more than you will ever know!
I have been seeing Dr. Coronado for several years and she is the absolute best Doctor I have ever had. She really takes her time with her patients, and emphasizes the importance of making sure you are educated on your situation. I recently had a non-gynecological medical emergency, and upon chatting with Dr. Coronado about it, she went above and beyond to connect me with a specialist whom could offer me a 2nd opinion just for my peace of mind. Dr. Coronado has performed several surgeries on me, guided me through semi-complicated pregnancies, and has been the best medical influence on my care team. I can not recommend her enough!
All of the doctors here are great! I see Dr. Dang primarily — she is a caring, detailed-oriented person who is an excellent listener. My pregnancy was high-risk and Dr. Dang did an amazing job getting me through it! I always felt like my baby and I were getting great care.I also met Dr. Coronado, Dr, Baghdessarian, Dr. Desai, and Dr. Monier throughout my pregnancy. Each doctor listened to my concerns about my pregnancy and again gave me and my baby excellent treatment. The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful! You can tell they enjoy their jobs and care for the patients in the practice.
Dr. B is the most WONDERFUL man! 🤗🤗🤗 My mom and I have been seeing him for years and I love him so very much! So much in fact, that my mother in law AND sister in law both see him as well. Lol. He has the absolute BEST bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable and special. He recently performed a robotic partial hysterectomy on me on 5/17/22 and I’m 36, I’ve always had the absolute WORST periods. I’m so thankful to him for always working WITH me on my health and taking what I say into consideration, so he was okay with this surgery at my age.His nurse, Adrianna, is just as sweet as ever. I adore her. If you ever need ANYTHING, you can call her and she’s ON IT.The whole entire office is just AMAZING. My husband was even blown away by how NICE everyone was when he went with me for our pre-op consult. So if you’re looking for a new OBGYN, please choose Dr. B at Womens Specialists of Plano- You will NOT be disappointed. 🤗🤗
The wait was short, Dr. Coronado saw me right away. I was comfortable. It was a great experience. I felt cared for with my surgery. Dr Coronado is easy to talk to. I highly recommend Womens Specialists of Plano!
Kat and the staff were so amazing! All around felt very comfortable, and would highly recommend to any friends or family!!
Dr. Coronado, her assistant, front staff, and phlebotomist were top tier. I am so glad to call her my doctor now. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family!
I had my first visit here this week for my annual exam. I was able to be seen within a week or so of making my appointment which was nice. I filled out a long history questionnaire online before the appointment which seemed thorough. Seems like a busy place. Everything was done in a rush. Blood pressure is taken while the nurse asks you questions. I was not treated like this was my first time in their office. When the appointment was over, no one even pointed to the direction of the cashier or the door out. I don’t feel like the doctor took the time to go through the long questionnaire they had me fill out or even glanced at it. I didn’t feel like he had time to talk to me about any of my concerns and they were pretty much brushed off. This was a bare bones visit and with all the positive reviews from this office it really leaves me wondering what happened.
Really great doctors and staff but the office is not managed well. I have had 3 appointments and 3 medications prescribed by Dr. B here over the course of a year.Every time I’ve had to interact with the office, something has gone wrong. It takes several phone calls to get a prescription refill. A nurse or staff member called me and told me that I needed to find an endocrinologist… after spending some trying to find one with availability, Dr. B told me that the staff often misinterprets blood results and that there was no need for the endocrinologist.Despite these problems I do trust Dr. B and appreciate that he offers virtual appointments on Thursdays.I can tell by their waiting room that they are extremely busy so perhaps they’re understaffed. I hate to leave a bad review but having experienced a ~30% response rate through other channels, this seems like the best place to leave feedback for management.
I see Dr. Desai and have been seeing her for about 3 years and had both our first and second child with her, recently moved further away and still go to see her because she is worth the drive. She talks and treats you like a person and not a patient. I would recommend her to anyone. In addition, Rachel her coordinator is extremely responsive and make you feel comfortable asking questions no matter how silly you may think you’re being.
The office that is suppose to return back calls for lab results is not working. Left many voice-mails regarding my lab results at different hours of days and no answer. Is this office for lab results only opened 2 days a week? Not pleased with how this part of the office is running. Ill update my review later as I am 4 months pregnant and so far its been decent going here until now.Update-Got a call few hours later from some other dept and they were able to speak to me about my babys results. The people running the reviews on here is quick to make things right. Thank you.
Dr. Foster-Rettig was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! she made me feel so comfortable. She talked me through my annual, answered all of my questions and made me feel like she HONESTLY CARED. So glad I decided to schedule an appointment. Highly Recommended!!!!
My first time going to this OBGYN and it was a wonderful experience Cat was super informative, helpful and kind, facility was clean, the ladies up front were all kind and professional as well as the Phlebotomists. Thank you for making my experience comfortable!
This clinic is great - Dr. Desai is wonderful and so warm and helpful, one year I saw the Nurse Practitioner and she was great as well. And what prompted me to write this review is that Tricia at the office really went above and beyond for me today - they initially thought I had to schedule a second diagnostic at another site, but she checked back and found out that it was a duplicate from last year with no changes, so the additional diagnostic was not needed. I really appreciate the additional care in calling me back the next day to let me know. Great place! Thank you!
I came to the clinic for my annual exam/mammogram. After only 10 or15 minutes of waiting, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was brought into the room for my mammogram. The technician was very pleasant and skilled. Afterwards, I wanted to speak to the office manager to find out the cost of a couple of blood tests and one of the technicians walked me all the way to her office instead of giving quick directions and pointing the way. The office manager was patient and informative and was able to answer all of my questions without me feeling like she was pressed for time. Overall, not my favorite way to spend an hour but definitely was very satisfied as to how professional and helpful everyone was.
Dr. B is absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have taken care of my throughout my pregnancy. He is 100% professional, caring, open and honest and a goober. I would recommend him to anyone any day!
I was referred to Dr. Coronado, her and her staff were amazing. She answered all of my questions and made sure that everything was taken care of before I left the office. I would recommend her to anyone.
Just moved back to the Plano area and was looking for a new female gyno. Made an appointment with Dr Desai and she was very sweet. So was the wonderful nursing staff, mammo specialist, front desk and phlebotomist. Got pretty embarrassed by having a hot flash on the table but they were super understanding and put a fan on me and before you know it I was good to go. Wasn’t able to articulate much at my appointment but looking forward to further visits in the future.
This office is fantastic! Between the customer service, true concern about their patients and excellent doctors/staff.One area of improvement that needs to be made by the staff: make sure you fully follow through on any/all changes for each patient. If you make changes to a treatment plan or RX please make sure you follow-through the entire process. Having to be delayed another 21 days for a new RX because it wasnt sent into the pharmacy is a bit irritating; especially when you are talking about a womans hormones! So glad Shelly, ultrasound tech, referred me to them.I recommend anyone and everyone to make this group your go-to!
This was my first visit with Dr. Dang she was very professional and made me feel comfortable during my whole exam. Her medical assistant was very friendly and kind too.
Dr. Coronado is the best! She was with my through my first pregnancy and delivered my baby as well. I highly recommend her and I drive quite a while to see her. The practice is organized and efficient and I have always been helped in a timely manner.
Women’s Specialists is absolutely the best run Doctors office in Dallas. Along with top notch doctors, I have never waited over 5 minutes I’ve been going to Dr Monier for 36 years. He delivered one baby, done surgery on me and never a complaint.
If I could give this place 10 starts I would. I read several reviews on here and was a little worried about going to this facility but they were nothing but nice and punctual. My appointment was at 10:10, I got there a little early, and was escorted back right away. The doc was in the room right at 10. He was so nice and actually listened to me and my issues going on. He did not have an air about him that he knew more than me, he just really wanted to help. The receptionist were nothing but kind and when checking out the ladies were so awesome. I needed a quote for my next visit and they were nothing but understanding and willing to look that info up for me. This place is great!! I would def recommend this facility.
Today was my first visit with Dr. Dang for my well womans check. The office staff at womens specialists of Plano were friendly and patient with me when I asked questions regarding payment since this is my first time being a self pay patient. Dr. Dang was very compassionate and made me feel comfortable and not rushed when asking questions about my health concerns. She listened patiently as I explained my whole health history and her response made me feel confident in her ability to help me figure out where I am healthwise.
I see Christen Reamy, PA-C, at Women’s Specialists of Plano. She is great. She is kind, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. She had a PA student with her who actually did the physical exams and she did great, too. The whole office was very timely with little wait time during the different areas.
I have had three visits with PA Reamy and I’m SO thankful to have her as my provider. I was having so many complications with my IUD (placed elsewhere) and she took the time to explain all the possible causes, alternatives, and benefits and risks for each plan moving forward. She even sat with me during her lunch break while I had my sonogram done. She is professional, competent, caring and such a breath of fresh air in the medical community. She goes above and beyond for her patients and I can’t recommend her enough!!!
Ive been a patient for Dr. Coronado for the past 5 years, and I never think twice about referring a friend to her. Her PA is amazing, as well. Both are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel very comfortable. One of my friends also is a patient of Dr. Coronados and she had a very difficult pregnancy. My friend has nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Coronado and her team.
I have been going to Dr. Monier for about 8 years. From a teenager to a young adult and as my age increased it seemed that his bedside manner did as well. He not only delivered me but has also seen my mother since she was 16 as well. The last 3-4 times Ive seen him he doesnt seem to look over my records or have time to answer any of my questions so I typically have to follow up with his nurses Debbie and Patricia. They are amazing and try to answer my questions to the best of their ability. Sadly after my last visit I have decided to look for a new doctor. I deserve and need a doctor that has time to answer any of my questions and treat me with respect.
Office was friendly and efficient. Dr. Desai was a ray of sunshine. She was patient, listened to my concerns and addressed them all. She gave very authentic advice and was quick to tell me if I had any concerns before my next appointment, to call and they would work me in. I felt listened to, HEARD, and cared for. I was referred by a trusted friend and I am recommending her to everyone I see!!
Highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Coronado and team. She was my third surgeon opinion for specialized gyn surgery and did a great job.
Both my daughter and I see Dr. Cornado who is amazing!!! Very down to earth, making you feel comfortable to ask any questions whether out of concern or just for information. Dr. Cornado always has a very sunny disposition, she takes her time so you never feel rushed and like just another number. When I tell anyone about the office because they’re looking for a referral, I must speak so highly and matter of fact about her, I often get asked if we’re like friends or something. That is just how comfortable seeing her is. I met Kristen, who is a P.A. there today and she was just as great. Very easy to talk to. Friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the office. The occasional wait time is absolutely worth it!!!
So impressed with the staff and doctors here! Super friendly and professional office staff, Dr. Elizabeth Coronado and her nurse were also wonderful at putting me at ease during my first visit. Dr. was quick and efficient, answered all my questions, and made recommendations for better health. Very positive experience!
Dr. Coronado was very emphasizing by knowing my situation, she was very pleasant to talk with, gave me special attention to hear me what I had to say, she is more experienced and knowledgeable in her field. I will be happy to go back to see her again.Thank you Dr. Coronado
I was referred here by another office. I was able to fill out my paperwork online. Once I arrived, my wait-time was only about 10min. The office was really busy but the nurse or medical assistant was really nice and efficient. My biggest review is for Dr. Baghdassarian! He was phenomenal. I went for a well womans exam and not only was he thorough, he asked all of the right questions that could lead to a possible diagnosis. He didnt rush me. He let me tell him whats been going on and didnt try to minimize my pain or worries. We brainstormed together and came up with a plan for treatment. Thank you Dr. Bahgdassarian and your wonderful team for taking care of me!
Dr Baghdassarian is the best Dr in the whole world, listens carefully to all your complains and very attentive to details. Best Gynecologist ever. And all the nurses that took care of me , God Bless you. And Dr Baghdassarian God will still use your miracle hands to complete my Testimony . Amen
I have been going to Women’s Specialist for 17 years. They are professional and friendly. Dr. Monier is awesome. His assistant is great. They both do a great job to help make their patients feel respected. The lady at the mammogram was very nice and professional. She made that experience smooth and quick. Overall this is a great practice!
I did not have a good experience here at all.Inititally, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, I had the strangest yearly eval. The doctor had no bedside manner and did not seem ready for work that morning. He seemed fatigued or distracted.I was a new patient. I have lived in several cities/states for works so I am used to seeing different Obs.He came in talking a lot and speculating what my concerns could me. He was postulating instead of examining. This was not the norm at all. He did not do the breast exam. He barely introduced himself, made conversation, or eye contact. I was getting really uncomfortable. He told me he was going to take a look first but did not indicate when the pap smear was occurring.I do not think he performed one at all. I did not feel it and I always do if the pap smear is performed. It seemed like he just took a look.He then left the room after telling me everything looked great? I had to call the nurse in and ask her for the pelvic exam and breast exam. They were billing for it but it was not performed. He came in and said he forgot?! Then the doctor explained he would not do the pelvic exam because he did not like to be too invasive. He kept going on and on about his expertise in surgery and how he can poke with a qtip and tell if the uterus is inflamed.I was really uncomfortable and confused at that point. It was a strange experience and I will not be returning.
I was searching for a great OB when I relocated to Texas and stumbled upon Dr. Monier. I am blessed to have such a caring Doctor, who listens, gives great advice, and takes his time to walk you through the necessary process. If your looking for a great OB look no further. The staff is always nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend!!
Doctor B (David Baghdassarian) was great! He is thorough, professional, pleasant, and listened to all our questions and concerns. I am confident that my daughter is in good hands under the care of this doctor group and clinic. If that changes, Ill be sure post! The clinic was clean and had very friendly staff. I recommend this place to all.
I’ve been going to dr Jules Monier and women’s specialists for 32 years! Since dr Monier delivered my first grandchild ! He delivered two more who are 25 and 23! Wonderful staff and never disappoint whenever I need anything! Thank you for exceptional health care !
I highly recommend this office to anyone looking in the area. Very friendly staff and Dr. Desai is an absolute jewel. Respectful of your privacy and your time. I was in and our for my annual appointment in 30 minutes. Facility is equipped for mammography and CT scans as well. One stop for all your needs.
Cat Nipper is the best provider! Caring, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. She and the staff here make me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend!
I’ve been coming to Women’s Specialists of Plano since 2014 and I love it! Their staff is super friendly and I love Dr Coronado. She’s always patient, and always answers my questions in depth. She is thorough and is so friendly. I would most def recommend her!
I had scheduled an appointment a MONTH ahead. When I showed up they told me I had cancelled the appointment when I NEVER did. I asked the receptionist if they could still see me because I didnt cancel! The receptionist in the front was rude and all she was telling me was that she couldnt do nothing about it because they were booked. I TOOK TIME OFF WORK FOR NOTHING!! but of course what do they care. It’s upsetting how they cancelled without notifying me and on top of that the attitude they have is terrible. I wouldve appreciate I better explanation. Service is terrible and who ever owns this place, I hope they teach their team how to treat and talk to people and most importantly COMMUNICATION!
Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. Im also happy with my OB Dr.Desai. Her and the nurses make me feel comfortable during my visits.
Excellent customer service! Dr. Coronado is very professional with an outstanding personality. She answered my questions as if I was her only patient for the day. Saying ...She was not in a rush as heading to the next patients room while talking. She had time set asided for me.
Dr Monier has good bedside manner and discussed my procedure thoroughly. His staff communicated well every step of the way and respond promptly. I also found out they do mammograms so I have that scheduled with Dr Monier office now.
While Dr. Desai is incredibly kind and caring, youre lucky if you can get in to see her. The in office wait times and available appointments are incredibly too long of a wait. I called 4-5 months ago about a concerning health issue that I wanted to see about getting screened for and never received a call back. When my birth control ran out of refills they rejected the refill but didnt contact me to schedule an appointment. Instead when I went to my pharmacy with only 2 days to spare before it ran out, I was told my clinic rejected it. Spent a day and a half trying to get someone on the phone and when I finally did they explained their reasoning and after enough advocating for myself I got the refill. They then refilled it two more times without requesting an office visit or contacting me at all in those 3 months and now, on the 4th month, I go to pick up the prescription from my pharmacy again with 2 days remaining and theyve declined with no notification from the clinic to me. Unable to get anyone on the phone until this morning where they flat out say they are unable to refill it because I havent been in but they dont even ask me to make an appointment while Im on the phone, just say yeah were unable to refill that - so now theyre seriously messing with my body as I have an abnormality that without birth control or hormones of some sort tends to try to create cancerous cells and theyre the ones that diagnosed me with this and recommended birth control as the best treatment following a long run with a different hormone treatment. (All the while Ive been looking for a new OB/GYN but TX is struggling in that department lately!)
Dr. B is amazing. I am a tough critic when it comes to M.D.s because I am a veterinarian. I am so grateful to have such an amazing doctor. I was so worried when my last OBGYN retired but I know I am always in good hands with Dr. B. The staff is also amazing - I always have good experiences.
From the moment I walked in the door, the staff of Womens Specialists made me feel comfortable and valued. I cannot say enough about the friendly and personal experience I had with the staff and Dr. Coronado.
Front desk personnel are cheerful and professional. Got back almost immediately for the mammogram and just as quick for Dr. Coronado. Highly recommend!
I was excited finding a new OBGYN. I have nothing bad to say about the staffs. They are nice and efficient. What really made me mad is the waiting. Dr. Dang probably overbooked her appointments. After staffs checked me in, got labs done, and sent me into the exam room. I changed and waited 40 mins. I was uncomfortable and anxious for the wait, I walked out. My total time there was 1 hr and 15 mins. I could not wait longer. I respect their time so I come on time and I expect the doctor to respect my time and other patients time. I have other things to do and I can’t sit there with just a thin patient’s gown on and wait forever. It’s sensitive to have women health exam and the experience just made it worse. I’m in the business of promoting and preferring patients to out patient settings. I’m all about primary care and specialist settings, but this is just wrong!
If given an option, I would give negative rating for this clinic.First issue, the hassle to book an appointment and when finally doneSecond issue, Constant follow up by myself for reports and medication was prescribed after a week from the appointmentThird issue, After contant calls everyday for a week, link for portal login was provided which is not accessible yet and Im fed up.We as patients expect transparency in procedure, ethical behaviour and service from hospitals/ clinic and this is no good example fom you!
I owe this facility all my gratitude. Because of Dr. Baghdassarian, I learned the cause of a long streak of miscarriages that two other doctors had ignored. He listened to me and gave me a solution. Before I found this office, I had had 4 back to back losses. But with Dr. Bs care, I didnt have a 5th. Instead, he delivered my healthy baby boy. The entire staff here is top notch. I cant thank them enough.
I went to Dr. Baghdassarian when my primary patted me on the head and said dont worry about that cyst. He listened!!!! Did a biopsy, explained my condition. I went back to him when I had some additional problems and he is the best. He listens, has a good bedside manner, listens and explains. The office can seem to be a bit disorganized, but seriously, with lots of pregnant women and late patients I bet it plays havoc with schedules. I called on late Wednesday before a holiday and got an appointment Friday morning. I know it played havoc with the doctor that day but I was forever grateful. At least when theyre running behind its because of patients not because theyre holding a staff meeting (my last doctor who kept me waiting and I walked out after being told I cant). The staff Ive met are very pleasant, answer questions and very helpful. And Dr. Baghdassarian is the absolute best.
I wasn’t able to get in to see my regular OB so I met Kristin the PA for the first time and she was amazing. Great bedside. It’s a scary experience for some women and she was very comforting and knowledgeable. She made my experience barable. I definitely will make sure I get in with her for my next apt.
I really enjoy how in depth Dr. Dang goes into explaining to her patients about whatever issues they may face. Her personality and her trust is what makes the drive worth my while.Unfortunately, I dont think that I will be doing business with Womens Health Specialists of Plano anymore. After too many encounters with receptionists with attitudes and having to wait an 1 hour and 10 minutes, not including the 20 minutes I arrived earlier, it just is not worth it anymore. Now I understand that with the winter storm that occurred the week before you had to push patients around, but the least you could have done was mention to your patients prior to their visit that there would be an hour delay out of respect. Not to mention the last 3 times I went to get my blood tested I was left bleeding excessively. The last visit the Phlebotomist punctured a nerve or something, I am not able to move my left arm without it tingling and aching from just everyday movement. I drove back, wasting an hour driving, to talk to the Phlebotomist, and she was just dismissive. Stating I should have stretched my arm, and shouldnt put my purse on my left arm, which I wasnt able to due to the extreme pain that was delivered to my arm during the blood draw. Phlebotomists are supposed to guide their patients to the proper position when drawing blood. For you to say that it was my fault for the pain your colleague caused was completely out of line on your part. The week before I was left bruised up after the blood draw, but wasnt able to come back due to being attended near closing time.It is really disappointing that a doctor like Dr. Dang is left to work with people that just dont care about their patients. I just hope my arm is able to heal quickly and properly.
I have been visiting their office and Dr Desai for past 1.5 years. I would recommend them all the time. Dr. Desai is amazing, she was with me before and during my pregnancy, birth and post birth. I wouldnt have done it without her, she listens and is very motivating and comforting. Their staff is also very nice.
Dr. Shuchi DeSai has been my OB/GYN for many, many years. She and her staff have always been amazing!!! Very personable and professional. I am sad I only go annually as this is a practice I would love to see much more often.Whether you are preparing to have a baby as well as after those baby years, Shuchi is the BOMB!!2 weeks ago, she just performed cervical cancer surgery on me and I am now CANCER-FREE🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Never had a bad experience. I normally see Dr Coronado, who is great. Last few visits have been with the PA Christen Reamy who is equally great. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to this office. :)
I’m so glad I chose this clinic for annual check up and my IUD removal! Dr. Desai was so sweet and made me feel comfortable during my first pap smear and breast exam. The nurses and receptionists were super kind as well! I made an appointment and waited about 30 minutes? The waiting room was quite full too so honestly I don’t think that was too bad of a wait but I did do my check in online the day before, so that may have sped up the process. I definitely recommend this clinic! I paid out of pocket since I don’t have insurance right now and it definitely wasn’t too expensive ($125 annual, $100 iud removal).Welp update: They charged me another $88 without telling me? I wish I would have known that before because obviously I dont have insurance and Im a broke college student that just happened to need some medical assistance. Will not be returning sadly.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Baghdassarian for over 3 years. It’s a long drive for me to Plano, but it’s so worth it. I met Dr. B. Through my daughter. She had surgery by him, and the way he kept me updated, his kindness, his concerns. He is almost like family to me!I had pelvic floor surgery (not done by Dr. B) a year before my daughter had her surgery. I have experienced some discomfort. Dr. B Addressed this with concern and solutions.I’ve lived a while and let me tell you, this man (could be my son) is exceptionally gifted within his craft and beyond his expertise he is an awesome human being.
I was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of people in the waiting room thinking I would be rushed. However, everyone from the check in person, nurse, NP, lab tech, check out person was extremely welcoming, kinda and I didnt feel rushed at all.
Everything from check in to the wait time to service was great! Everyone I encountered was cordial. The place was clean and up to date. Pleased to be with this group from transferring from another office.
I went for my first visit with Dr. Desai this past week. Ive experienced a difficult medical history with surgeries, miscarriage and infertility. Needless to say Ive avoided going to the doctor for years as a result. Ive decided I need to take care of my health and made the move to start my annual visits and preventative care. I loved Dr. Desai and appreciate her knowledge, along with her desire to listen and attempt to address my concerns. Im back to taking care of my health!
The staff is very welcoming and helpful! Dr. B is the absolute best! He listens to my concerns and provides a problem solving approach to meet my needs.
I have been seeing Dr. Desai for twoish years now and I can’t recommend her enough! She is so sweet and caring, I can tell she is actually listening to me when I voice my concerns. Very respectable and talks you through everything! The women in the billing department as you leave are absolute angels too, so kind every single time. Thank you ladies!!
I have been going to Womens Specialists of Plano for 36 years now. Saw Kristen R. today & the experience was top notch. She has met her calling from comfort to any questions to genuine care !!
Booking my well womens appointment was easy and pleasant. I really liked how I was able to check in online and skip filing out paper forms upon my arrival. My wait to see the doctor was a little long, but the doctor and nurse were really nice and answered all my questions. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a womens specialist in the Plano area.
Im a fairly new patient, and a FTM and currently expecting. To be fair, Im not really sure what to expect as this is my first experience with pregnancy. However, Ive been very pleased so far with the thorough information provided during each visit, having all my questions answered, and all of the tests they run you through during each visit to check for numerous/various things. I also appreciate the packet of information they provided on the first visit as well as what to expect not only throughout pregnancy, but also during each expected visit.Im a patient of Dr. Dangs, and I really appreciate her warm demeanor and her patience with my lack of knowledge about what are probably simple things related to pregnancy. Im also very pleased with the on-call/after hours availability of physicians. Ive been able to call three times for three separate issues that my on-call RN told me to go to the ER for (not the best solution). The physicians called me back immediately, and were very helpful in educating me on the specific concern I had when I called. The only downside of this place for me, which is totally tolerable when you consider the treatment/care youre receiving, is the waiting time/amount of people stuffed into a small receptionist area (for the size of the practice). It seems like they could use a bigger building/office and more than one receptionist, and possibly more than one person doing the sonograms (the woman they have is amazing though!).
First impressions with the doctors have been great. Looking forward to walking through this pregnancy process with Dr. Coronado! Not a fan of Erica who answered the phone. I called late in the day (after 4:30) and dialed 0 to speak with someone. Seemed like they picked up the phone and hung up. I called right back and she (Erica) answered. Just impatient and seemed eager to push me of the phone. Just kind of rude. But again Dr. Coronado seems fantastic!
Doc Coronado is the best doctor ever, we love her and all the staff is super awesome, really friendly and helpful! I am so glad that I went through my 2 pregnancies in this place.
Worst office. The lady who handles the lab results call is the worst and doesn’t explain anything. Doctor Monier is so weird and does not ever call his patients with results. They don’t send your lab results they are messy and you have to call them yourself until they have the results. They never called me with my biopsy result. One of the nurses was so nice to me but it’s not worth it to go here when everyone else is so rude and not helpful. They never pick up their phone either. They will send you to voicemail land never get back to you. This place is so ratchet and messy. The people don’t care about their patients. The doctor is soooo weird and counterproductive. He shouldn’t be a Womens doctor. I dislike this office and the women on the phone. They purposefully don’t answer your calls. Lazy lazy lazy and rude
Dr. Monier is the best! He has great bedside manners and gives the best advice. He even throw in a few jokes when being informative to lighten the mood. I was nervous after waiting 15 years to have baby #2 but he made it the most positive, relaxed, and fun experience ever.
I had made an appointment and still waited 2 hours in the waiting room. The staff were nice, but Im giving one star because Dr. Baghdassarian seen me and promised a perscription that day to which was never ordered in. I was in such pain that night I sat in an Urgent care for hours a bit after my exam. I even called the office the next morning about a question for the nurse and I had received no answer. If youre looking for a place for medical support please go somewhere that is organized and actually cares about their patients. I definitely do not recommended!
Took me a lot to go write this but I’m so frustrated with the staff, the way they treated me makes me feel really bad, they’re not nice at all probably because they’re so busy now they dunt really care on how u feel, I’m a pregnant woman but they make me wait forever, on top of that they lost my sugar n blood test… I’m so done with this clinic, would never recommended to anyone! It’ll be my last visit here after I gave them many tries.
I love Dr. B and all his staff. Everyone is really friendly and professional. Ive never had an issue with appointments, billing or wait time.
First of all I would like to thank all of the front desk ladies and specially Dr Desai.I currently 35 weeks and going to that office. Today I had a really poor experience with the billing lady name Patty. She was very rude with me explaining how my insurance will work. She seams not happy with her job or maybe she is going thru other issues .However, its not the way she should treat people. Its a long history . But I was very impact with some of the things she said.I hope someone who cares read message. Now we are looking for another hospital at the last minute. I shouldnt go thru this. .
Love Dr. Baghdassarian! I had my first baby with Dr. Baghdassarian and it was such a wonderful experience. He respect my decisions and was so encouraging throughout the journey. I work in Grapevine and live in Frisco. There will always closer providers I can go to but there’s no way I could due to the wonderful care and friendly staff!
I took my wife to Dr. Jules Monier last week. He is outstanding. He is very caring and kind. We asked him so many questions and he was ok with it. now days doctors are always rushing to get out the room but Dr. Jules Monier was so relaxed and let us ask him so many questions. I highly recommend him!
Cat the NP was very thorough when explaining treatment, options and diagnostic options, and then took time to answer my questions and review things with me. I appreciated the detail and clear rationale so that I have a better understanding of what’s going on!
Dr. Coronado was engaging, very thorough, thoughtful in her review of the case. Her staff was very conscientious and very mindful of time. Highly recommend.
I have been going to this office since 2011 after a very poor and complicated experience with a nearby OB/GYN practice I had been going to from 2007-2011. A friend recommended Dr. Darryl Greebon, who was my first physician here, and I loved him from the start. Very kind and compassionate, with a great staff. Fast forward to 2019, where after Dr. Greebon retired several years ago, and Dr. David Baghdassarian picked up his patients. I didn’t think someone could be as great as Dr. Greebon, but Dr. Baghdassarian is. At my check up today, I shared a new medical diagnosis and he was so encouraging, kind, and compassionate in his response and even time spent with me. His medical assistant Jasmine (I think is her name) was great as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Baghdassarian!!
I was searching long and hard for a womens clinic to see me quickly. I called this clinic that was in network with my insurance. Scheduler was very friendly, booked me within a week. The clinic called me 2 days before my appt for confirmation. Day of my appointment I was in and out within 30 min. Dr Reddig is very sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend this womens clinic. Thank you!
Dr. Dang is the best. She is kind and always listens. She addresses all concerns in a thorough manner.
I have been a patient at Womens Specialists of Plano for 40 years. I was very nervous when my Dr. retired. All of my fears have been put to rest. I absolutely love Dr. Suchi Desai. She has been so kind. So professional, and so helpful to me. She is so easy to talk to and is very insightful in her treatment plans. I would recommend her and this practice to anyone in search of quality healthcare.
Womens Specialists of Plano is a local office of doctors serving the community. Their doctors, nurses and staff members are the same one year after year, and relationships are built. It is nice to see the same nurse annually for your exam. They are professional and easy to talk with about your medical needs. Multiple appointments are available as well as online check-in. Parking is easy. The appointments are scheduled adjacent to the ammo and you are in and out in under an hour. They take insurance and work with you to explain any questions. Ive been going there since 2002.
Women’s Specialist of Plano I’ve been going to this clinic almost four years now and with confidence I can say you will not be disappointed. Great staff, Easy process to check in. Dr. Baghdassarian and his nurse are wonderful. Very attentive, complete with regard to detail, Knowledgeable; Explains things in a way you can understand. Highly recommend 10/10
Ladies, let me start by saying Ive been a patient at the Womens Specialists of Plano for about 5 years because my annual visits have been nothing less than pleasant. The location is a bit ducked off, however, the moment you walk thru the door you feel welcomed. The customer service starts with a calming wait area, short wait time, never crowded, and courteous receptionist(s) who get to you almost immediately. Now the icing on the cake is my awesome physician, Dr. Jules Monier. Hes always professional, makes me understand any health matters, has good bedside manners, and takes time to answer any questions I have. Hes as perfect as a physician can be, at least, in my opinion. Oh, I cant forget, the clinic is like a one-stop shop because you can also get your Mammie and Pappie in the same office ... lolI only gave 4 stars because of the not-so friendly patient portal ... whatever happened to the days of personalizing the results of a visit? Just saying ...SMitchell
I loved how Dr. Dang took her time and explained my different birth control options and helped me make a decision. She didnt make me feel rushed to get an exam and leave the office like Ive had happen at other OBGYN offices. I didnt think that the wait time was bad at all, and it was mostly because I took a while filling out the paperwork. I will definitely be going back.
I have been a patient for many years and would recommend to others. Always attentive and helpful - makes the appointment process easy and provides results online quickly. My experience is they run on schedule. Dr Monier is great.
One of the worst experiences ever with respect to the admin staff, nurses and doctor. The emergency doctor isnt available and the operator is never available. We paid them in full and still they treat us like we dont deserve their attention and time. They treat us like we are asking for charity. Most recently I went with my two week son and the nurse wouldnt let my sister bring the baby to me in the examination room when he was crying hysterically in the waiting room.I find it more sad than ironic that people who deliver babies and deal with womens health have no compassion or feelings for babies and small children. This was strike three regarding the nurses attitude. (I have a long list of bad experiences with the admin staff ) Earlier the nurse was rude, insensitive and intolerant towards my 2 year old daughter. She had no patience for my daughter and talked very curtly with her.In short, I am shocked and tired with the attitude I have to constantly put up with for no good reason. It is very sad to see that doctors and nurses that bring life and give care for lives to come have nothing good to offer to the small lives that brighten our lives every day.(This is not to mention the treatment and negative attitude given to me, my husband, my mother and sisters by the admin and nurse.)Final verdict: not a place I would recommend to any mother or mother to be who is looking for a doctor office and staff who treat them and their children and family with compassion love and respect.
My appointment was 8/28/2018 10:50. I was in excruciating pain, and was on schedule for A ultrasound hoping to resolve the ongoing issue. They turned me away, because my insurance didn’t cover the entire amount and I didn’t have $146 to pay in full. I ask could I make payments, and they declined! I’ve been a client since 2015! My doctor is pregnant and will be leaving soon on maternity leave, they tried to make it seem like it was OK no worries we’ll just reschedule your appointment with your doctor once she’s back in November. So beware if you don’t have the funds, they could careless! I was the decline to by a lady named Carol superior for billing.
Dr. Baghdassarian is the best Obgyn! I was admitted at 39 weeks to the hospital because of complications with my pregnancy. Dr. B was terrific at communicating his plan for delivery and did everything he could to support our ideal birth plan. I ended up needing a cesarean and Dr. B took incredible care of me.This clinic is very welcoming and the staff are kind. I definitely recommend making this your OB stop!
Dr. David Baghdassarian is the definition of thorough, with a plethora of knowledge and experience in his field. The practice he is a partner in is fantastic, and shows consistency with a genuine care for the patient, from appointment making to all patient needs while visiting.
My visit with Dr. Coronado was great. I was nervous being a first time patient and she made me feel at ease and is super easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone!
I love all the ladies here. Been going to Dr. Coronado since I’ve moved to Texas 9 years ago. She listens and provide all options for you. Her PA Is awesome too.
Absolutely loved Dr. Desai at my first Gyno appointment (last year). I am very disappointed with their scheduling now. I recently found out I am pregnant so I filled out the online form and called (and left a voicemail). It’s been over 2 weeks and they never called to schedule. I had to find a new OBGYN. I was an existing patient, shouldn’t be that hard to schedule an appointment.
We had a bad experience with Womens Specialists of Plano delivering my son. After much deliberabltion, I am writing this review so others know about this place and prepare themselves. He was lacerated (requiring multiple stitches for a newborn to undergo the day he was born!!) during child birth by Dr. David Baghdassarian. Not to mention the mental anguish and pressure we went through to process this all. The doctor knew about the entire history and was consulted even a week before delivery and had every chance to prepare for the child birth but still ended up lacerating due to lack of care. Were proceeding with a complaint to the medical board as well as legal action. Leaving this review so parents can decide for themselves when chosing a OBGYN.
My first experience at this office left a lot to be desired. This office opens at 9am. I showed up for my 9:20 ultrasound at 9:15 and was left waiting until 9:40. The front office and the ultrasound tech were very nice though. I hoped it would get better from here. Ultrasound was done by 9:55 and we were told to sit in another waiting area that was basically a small hallway with some chairs. My appointment with the dr was at 10:15 and again waited until 10:30 Just to be given a room. Then it was another 15 minutes for dr to come in. So 30 minutes past my appointment time. I was then told I needed labs which was actually the fastest process of the entire appointment. And was told after by a nurse they lost my urine and I had to redo it! Then I had to wait another 15 minutes to see the ob coordinator. I arrived at this office at 9:15 am for an ultrasound and appointment with dr and didnt leave until 11:30! The entire process was slow, disorganized and felt more like I was being herded through like cattle than a patient at a dr office. I truly hope this improves at my next appointment.Edit to add...after getting my EOB from my insurance for this visit I found that I was charged for a vaginal AND abdominal ultrasound. I called and spoke to billing and was informed that It was coded wrong and I had an abdominal ultrasound for confirmation which I understood. Then apparently an NT study which I was not informed of during the appointment and did not consent to. Completely disgusted and disappointed I was somehow roped into a service that is optional and NOT covered by my insurance that I would not have chosen to do. Can not recommend this practice and especially not Dr. Dang.
Had my prenatal services here. The staff Ive come in contact with, the welcoming environment is simply awesome! Dr. Dang, Nurse Christy and OBG coordinator Rachel; you are all wonderful and May God bless you all. All the staff here made my delivery experience here a memorable one.
Very Bad experience. I strongly recommend staff to get trained on how to instruct new patients and also the staff is rude on top of it.Hospital address( very hard to find by google maps and imaps both) made me arrive 15 min late to the actual appointment time and the staff said no children allowed after I reached the hospital with 20 min walk with my child. The main point is, when I scheduled appointment over the phone, i was not advised that no children allowed and need to reschedule if we are late...
Dr. Coronado is very sweet and takes the time to listen to everything I have to say. She helps me to feel better and listens to my concerns. Im very comfortable as a patient at Womens Specialists of Plano.
Christen Reamy is my favorite person ever. She’s always so upbeat, and has always been able to help find solutions to any issues I may be having! Going to the gynecologist is always a little nerve racking for me, but Christen and her assistant Taylor always make me feel welcome. I’m so thankful to be able to have such a fantastic, knowledgable doctor to confide in!
Billing staff is shady. Even with UMR insurance, I paid $200 for my first visit out of pocket and an additional $300 for the lab work. At checkout nobody disclosed how much lab work costs because I quote from Carol, “even they don’t know.” I’m Sure they can give you an estimate but refuse to. Then when I expressed my concerns why am I paying so much out of pocket if I have a high quality insurance plan, my second visit was only $15 for the same pap smear procedure.
I am a current patient seeing Dr. Monier and I have not experienced the things I have read here. The wait is pretty reasonable and the staff is courteous and helpful in my honest opinion. Dr. Monier is kind and really listens to your needs. The office is a bit hidden but isnt ridiculously hard to find at all. I hate to read bad reviews on a good place. So if you are looking for a OB/GYN this is a great place to go. It is a small facility but personally I like a smaller office because people/staff are able to give you more of a personal experience. That is what I have experienced here. I look forward to having Dr. Monier deliver my baby in December!
Before finding out I had an infected cyst on my ovary for over 6 months. They checked me in less then 5 minutes, said that everything was okay and did not resolve any of my problems. Doctor only spoke to me for about 3 minutes since she had so many other patients to see. Went to the ER just a week later just to be told I needed surgery immediately and needed to see.a obgyn. Contacted them and they couldnt book me an earlier appointment. Had an appointment a month later at 2pm and was told a day before apt to go at 1:50pm because the doctor needed to leave at 2. This place is a joke!!! Im in the hospital now and thank God I went to another obgyn that was able to give me time I needed and resolve all my issues in order to get it removed. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! You will REGRET IT!
I will not be coming back based solely on the office staff. Not the doctors. My deductible was very close to being met (under $100). But their system had not updated. They refused to call in and talk to the insurance to adjust what was in there system. So now I have to wait for them to refund me what will end up likely be several hundred dollars.
Dr. Coronado was amazing! She was not rushed and answered all of my questions. To top it off, they can do a mammogram right there in the office. So very convenient and the staff was so kind!
I had one virtual appointment with Dr. Desai and decided to go to someone else instantly after the call. In a nutshell, she was rude, rushed and didn’t bother to do any prep work - not even take a glance at my chart for my name, let alone my medical history nor the fact that I AM PREGNANT.Here is the longer version: we used to live and work in Dallas, and now live in Plano and WFH. After finding out about this pregnancy, we talked to my prior OB in Dallas and decided to switch to a closer doctor/location. My prior OB recommended Dr. Desai , plus I also found her when I was doing research myself and liked her resume. I had a couple calls with her nurse ( who was great and helpful) discussing my situation - medical (miscarriage)history and concerns regarding COVID before the video call with Dr. Desai. Then, on the actual appointment date, Dr . Desai spent fewer than 15mins with us yet long enough to make me regret paying $120 for this call.First, I found out instantly that she didn’t know anything about me - my name, my medical/pregnancy/miscarriage history- the information that I discussed with her nurse a couple times before, so I spent 4-5 minutes to catch her up. In addition, I told her who my old OB was, the reason why we are switching ( WFH and distance), and the fact that my old OB referred her. Then she took from there went on and on about the procedures and tests that she would like me to run for like 3 mins, then she said “then the next time you get pregnant...” I was shocked- I thought at the very least she would know that the reason I am HERE is because that I AM pregnant. She scared me with a bunch of test names and things that could go wrong with “my next pregnancy” because I had two spontaneous miscarriages one before and one after my healthy daughter. After learning that my prior OB did not order any test for me after the miscarriage , she instantly said the exact words “so the reason why you are switching is to find someone who takes you more seriously?” I was astonished - in addition to her rudeness, guess she wasn’t even listening when I said the reason why we are switching and the fact our prior OB RECOMMENDED her. And for the record, we love our prior OB, who was the best doc in D Magazine for many years, who has a better resume than she does, and who always remembers me and my husband’s names and occupations, and always know WHY I AM HERE. Anyways, after finding out that she didn’t even know that I am pregnant and scared me to death with things could go wrong with my “ next pregnancy” and insulted my prior OB, we went to someone else “ who takes us more seriously” , and everything is going well.
Tried to make an appointment to get my IUD taken out after 4 years. During the booking, I mentioned that I have some concerns about having pelvic inflammatory disease caused by the IUD and I’m told that I will have to make a separate appointment to get that addressed. So sick of getting the run around with doctors, it’s already a hassle to take off working hours and they have limited times for women’s annuals. As a patient, I am worth better care than to be jerked around by doctors billing codes and their convenience!! Also they charge the same for a visit with the doctor as as visit with a PA... such a scam.
I seen Dr.Desai she is very friendly and has a great bedside manner. You can tell she truly cares about her patients health. Entire staff 5 stars. The wait time was a little long but the service made up for it.
Great receptionists, MAs are very nice and knowledgeable, and providers are friendly and comforting and make sure to spend sufficient time with me answering questions and giving me all my options. Highly recommend Heather and Dr. Coronado!
I love Dr. Baghdassarian, he is friendly and listens to his patients . The staff are all sweet and compliant. They work hard to get patients in at a timely manner and meet their needs.
I would only go back for Dr.Dang, she made me feel at ease during my check ups and she was great during my labor. I do wish the sonogram was longer. Not sure if all sonogram appointments are like ones here. Unbutton pants, look at baby for 10 secs, picture printed, button pants, leave.
Dr Desai is very caring, comforting, and proactive in providing the care needed to the specific patient. The Womens Specialists of Plano staff is very pleasant and friendly. The patient movement process to gets patients safely seen and cared for efficiently.
Was a patient of Dr. Desai. It was my 1st pregnancy and everything was going well at first. Later on I started to feel really bad and had bad abdominal and back pain. After calling them for weeks and weeks their response was to take Tylenol, gas x, tums and get rest. I guess they didn’t believe me and just assumed since this was my 1st time that I was overreacting. Well during the week of Thanksgiving I called again and they scheduled me to do a sonogram the next week to check my liver and stomach. Well the day before Thanksgiving I was sent to the hospital and ended up having my baby girl at 26 weeks. She was only 1lb 3oz. I was out of town for thanksgiving and had to deliver her in another state. I called the dr on call to make sure they were aware of what was going on. This happened 11/23/18. I still to this day have not heard from Desai or anyone from this clinic to check on myself or my baby or to even schedule a follow up appointment. Long story short my experience was horrible. I just don’t want anyone to feel like their voice is not being heard. If you feel something is wrong just go to another dr because clearly they might not believe you. We ended up losing our baby girl on 4/21/19. My whole experience has been traumatic. Please be cautious. I will say, I did get to see a male Dr at this clinic 1 time while desai was out, and he was awesome, very informative. I should’ve switched to him but I just had a little more history with desai and felt comfortable with her. I hope this helps someone...
I’ve been seeing Dr. Coronado got the last two years. She is super professional, knowledgeable, and I always feel comfortable during my appointments. I definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a new obgyn.
New patient here. Scheduled a 2:40pm appointment (for which I arrived ten minutes early at 2:30pm). 55 minutes later at 3:25pm, I was still waiting for my appointment and I ended up leaving and asking for a refund. Clearly no respect for people’s time.
