He has an amazing team. I had an hysterectomy and I was so nervous the day of the surgery, but he and his team were so professionals and super kind. He explain me everything before the process. The recovery was super good and less painful than I thought. I really like Dr. Grover.
I generally see a different practitioner, but because I needed a time sensitive prescription refill I had to schedule with Dr. Grover. I was called back promptly, only to wait for over twenty minutes after vitals were taken for the doctor to appear. When he did, the visit was perfunctory at best. He spent maybe five minutes doing a breast and pelvic exam, and had a foot out the door before I could ask about the prescriptions. I was able to ask a couple of quick questions before he rushed out. I would have understood if there was any explanation at all (maybe a patient emergency? Running behind? Any excuse?) but was offered none. Next time I will be sure to call several months in advance to see my normal NP.
I was recommended to Dr Grover by my daughter. I was very impressed with his staff, surgical team and all those attending me in the hospital. Dr Grover is known as a top surgeon specializing in women’s health and the use of robotics. My surgery and recovery have been going well and I have great confidence in Dr. Grover’s professionalism and skill. I am glad to add my high recommendation as well.
It was wonderful from beginning to end, like it always is. You have a nicest, nicest nurses working for you. In fact, everyone I’ve encountered at Utah Valley Hospital is amazing and they make so much more comfortable. Thank you so very much for caring about the patients!!
Dr. Grover is unfortunately like most out there—in a rush, has trouble stopping to listen and didn’t look at anything in my chart prior to seeing me. He did answer what questions I could get out, and gave me different options but it was difficult to think under the rushed pressure.
Dr. Grover is a competent and skilled doctor. I do wish he would have taken just a bit more time with “what questions do you have?” I felt like he would have answered anything I did have questions about. I just felt like he needed to get to the next thing on his agenda for the day.
Mr. Grover and his medical student was so great. They listened to my needs and did not fight me on what I was requesting, they were supportive in what I was wanting and I am so grateful for that
Dr. Grover is probably the best doctor I have ever had. He has changed my life for the better. He diagnosed me with endometriosis my first visit after seeing countless doctors for my pain. He also performed surgery for my endometriosis that helped immensely. He always has best in mind for his patients. The sad thing is that he has the worst staff. I can never get anyone to answer the phone. I leave correspondence messages with the nurse all the time and help is not provided, or it is after twenty calls. In the office the nurses are always gruff. Dr. Grover is like a ray of sunshine in that office.
I had an IUD placed from Dr. Grover about 2 years ago, and Ive wanted to write about my experience so others can be forewarned. I was not only getting an IUD placed, but I was having my Nexplanon taken out at the same time.First of all, the nurse who initially helped me with the regular checkup and questions before sending in another nurse was SO dismissive of my anxious feelings. She was very, very unpleasant and I dont know if she was having a hard day, but do NOT let that spill into client interactions. I was literally crying and tried to ask questions about the process, and even asked if I could have a woman take Dr. Grovers place because I would feel more comfortable. She flat out told me no, and told me to calm down because Im fine and Dr. Grover is the best so I shouldnt be crying. I went to the bathroom because I wanted to clean up my tears. When I came back, a second nurse switched out with the first one and she brought SO much peace of mind. I really wish I remembered her name because she truly was the only good part of this experience. She took the time to address my anxiety and told me all about the IUD I would be getting. She told me that Im super brave and that I will have a good experience with this form of birth control. I really appreciated how personal she was! Then came in Dr. Grover, but along with him there was a second, younger man with him who was in school. He said he has an assistant with him today so hell be observing. Dr. Grover didnt ask me if that is okay which is another huge red flag. I wish he did ask. I couldve spoken up about it but I was already laying out on the bed and things were moving quickly.Dr. Grover had the assistant take out my Nexplanon, which I really wish he didnt! While this was happening Im over here crying because the kid KEEPS MISSING IT. He kept wiggling the tool around in my arm. Granted, it is a small hole, but STILL. Its uncomfortable!! Im already not having a good time and then this just adds on. Dr. Grover had my legs up so they were prepared to place the IUD immediately afterwards. I just felt like an exposed animal being poked and prodded at with men in the room who do not care how Im feeling except my boyfriend. No questions asked about if everything is okay. Im silently sobbing while my boyfriend is being a great support and keeping an eye on things while rubbing my head. He also tried to ask some questions but Dr. Grover and the assistant were too focused to stop and listen. When the kid in training kept missing the Nexplanon after a good 5-6 minutes, Dr. Grover finally took control and grabbed the Nexplanon, but he shouldve just done it in the first place!!! It wouldve made things so much smoother and easier (maybe). Then after they bandaged up my arm, Dr. Grover went down to place the IUD. There was no forewarning, no prep, and he wasnt checking on me. He just clamped it in. He had the personality of someone whose only job is to come in, do the task, and walk out. He didnt talk with me much at ALL. It was so cold. All of this being said, do NOT go to Dr. Grover unless you want to be greeted with someone who is too cold and to the point with no show of taking the time to explain things. Ive seen other reviews of women somehow having a good experience with him checking on them and paying attention, so I dont know why MY experience had to be so traumatic. Ive told all of my friends to NEVER go to Dr. Grover and to go see a woman. Im in the process of finding someone else because I need an IUD checkup but there is no way in hell Im going back to Dr. Grover.
I had a procedure done by Dr Grover. A few months went by and I had some questions. I spoke to the MA about my questions and she wouldnt/couldnt answer them and said I needed to make an appointment to get my questions answered regarding follow up. I made an appointment, paid my co-pay and waited an additional 30 minutes after my appointment time.Dr Grover almost seemed defensive by my questions and cut me off during most of my questions. He did not make me feel cared for. He didnt act like he even remembered me or doing my procedure (which, is fine, Im sure he sees a lot of patients). He acted like he had other people to see even though I was only in the room for maybe five minutes. Definitely not a way you treat a patient for a follow up. Highly disappointed, will not go back nor recommend him/this clinic to others.
Not a good experience. I was recommended to have full hysterectomy and pelvic floor repair. I wish I had not done the surgery. The hysterectomy part is okay now (20 months post surgery.) The rectocele repair has failed already. I did some research and apparently statistics show that 41% of those type of repairs fail within the first year. This was NEVER mentioned to me. The pain and recovery from that surgery was excruciating and loooong. And, get this: I just recently received a bill 19 months later for another $775 that wasn’t covered by my insurance. That’s a very SLOW billing process! No, overall, I have to say that this was not a good experience at all.
Dr. Grover is the absolute worst doctor in Utah. I warn everyone asking for recommendations to stay as far away as possible from him and his scalpel. He botched my major surgery and caused considerable suffering and damage that required a lengthy hospital stay and an open incision that took months to heal. When it first split open, I showed Dr. Grover. He acted offended as if it were my fault it opened. (In reality, he had used ONLY surgical glue to close the 4in incision, so OF COURSE it was going to open.) It took two insanely painful cauterizations and multiple debridements for it to finally close. I will NEVER step foot inside his doors again. This surgery, and his subsequent treatment of me following, was the catalyst of my suffering from medical PTSD and complete lack of trust in doctors.
I had to wait a long time and I felt like he was rushed and didnt explain enough and didnt really listen to my discomfort.
Excellent care. Dr. Grover explained the alternatives available for treatment without pushing me toward one specific treatment. Then explained what the procedure was for moving forward. The entire staff was great to work with .
Dr. Grover performed my endometriosis laparoscopy. It’s been almost a year since and I just was informed yesterday that he performed an ablation, not an excision. This is a big difference in effectiveness in the removal of endometriosis aka it doesn’t work nearly as well. I didn’t know that when he performed the surgery. He also failed to ever give me my surgical photos and I have yet to receive them after a large effort working with his team and the hospital. When I returned to him months after my surgery complaining of returning pain, all that was said by him was that I “shouldn’t” be in pain this soon after surgery, and I should try eating probiotic yogurt. A while after that, I discovered a painful lump on my abdomen. When I brought this to him, he showed little interest. When I pushed and demand that he at least feel the area, he acknowledged that there are in fact cysts, but failed to ever follow up with an ultrasound. I called multiple times and left multiple messages and never was helped until I left a flustered voicemail. Even then, they failed to schedule my ultrasound and did not help in the finding of my surgical photos. I also had to ask multiple times for a stage diagnosis, and received one that didn’t line up with the findings in the procedure report. I’m highly dissatisfied and do not recommend this location for endometriosis care.
Dr. Grover was one of my surgeons who went the extra mile scheduling me for surgery asap for a serious condition. He and my other surgeon did a fabulous job on a complex surgery. He has been very gracious on my follow up visit - informative, kind, and very willing to answer all my questions. I am grateful to have worked with someone with his skill and professionalism.
I am happy with his experience and knowledge in caring for patients going through menopause.
Was very nice and helpful. Ive waited since Dec of 2022, for an appointment with an other Dr. I seen Dr Grover within Two weeks and my surgery is set for the end of April. I would still be waiting for the other Dr for surgery for 4 more months.
It was hard to locate their office, but everyone there was nice and helpful. I needed more help with the filling out of forms on their iPad. Dr Grover was nice and efficient. However the information on the iPad was incomplete and it would have been better for Dr. Grover to have had the information before the examination. But I simply answered his questions during the exam. I had tried to arrive early, but we got lost in the wrong building. Dr. Grover was very professional and actually explained my situation better than any other doctor . I also was helped by Sarah Clasby when I needed her assistance. She was very professional, sympathetic and informative with her assistance. Overall I was impressed with the people working there.
Dr. Grover has amazing bed side manner, takes his time explaining procedures and gives you care in a non judgmental way. One of the best doctors ive interacted with. His nurse Amelia is also amazing, calls me back in a timely manner, is polite, listens and helps with situations promptly. I would recommend this office a million times!
All the people who work here are so kind, knowledgeable, accommodating. I always feel I am in good hands.I was disappointed with this appt.I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before the Dr. came in. He brought a student in with him, which I prefer not to have. In the past I have been asked first.
A little rushed but lots of information on the procedure I was inquring about. I still need to talk to him when he has more time. I will call his office.
Dr. Grover is an amazing doctor. He has great bedside manners, listens, and advocates for his patients. If you are looking for a new lady doctor, I highly recommend him.
Very disappointed with my visit. Dr. Grover just referred me to someone different and didnt put any effort or work into helping me with my situation. Seemed like he had no care.
If I could give a 0 I would!!! Sarah is amazing and I definitely would give her 5 stars. However, I went to dr. Grover to have some polyps checked. He didn’t listen and told me I just needed to loose weight. When he went to do the exam he didn’t even warn me he was going to put the speculum in he just shoved it in and while I was crying out in pain he didn’t stop or even ask if I was okay. The office ands all the other staff I’ve seen has been absolutely amazing, but I will NEVER go back to him.
I was transported to Timpanogos Regional Hospital by ambulance four hours after giving birth in a birth center. I needed repair for a third degree laceration and postpartum hemorrhage. Dr. Steven Grover attended to me. I told him as well as everyone who was in the room that I wanted to be sufficiently medicated for this procedure. I was already in so much pain from 20 hours of unmediated labor with several complications. Dr. Grovr gave me a local anesthetic and immediately started stitching. I screamed and writhed in pain and told him “stop, stop, stop,” and “no, no, no” as he continued to stitch. He did not have my consent to continue. I needed him to stop the procedure due to the immense pain I felt, and needed more local anesthetic. I also needed more time for the anesthetic to take affect, but he did not listen to any of my repeated requests. Dr.Grover completely ignored me and caused me traumatic distress.I have seen two different therapists to work through the trauma caused by the inhumane treatment I received from Dr. Grover.
The office is quite hard to find.We had some time to wait too.
Doctor Grover was the kindest man that helped so much when I said my insurance was going to end soon so he made sure to do everything he can in that time frame. Definitely will be back
Sarah Clasby was absolutely fantastic, 5 stars for her, however Dr. Grover without a doubt is the worst gynecologist I have ever been to. Rude, terrible bedside manner, blunt and didnt inform me in detail about ANYTHING he did. I will never go back to him. Awful. and of course his answer to everything is birth control, it was only after I had to re-explain everything I already told Sarah that he actually listened and scheduled surgery. He treated me like I was just another money maker for him. I genuinely cannot tell you how awful my experience was with him. If you have to go here, go to Sarah. (pretty confident the reason I was treated the way I was is because Im not mormon and Im not married, which definitely should NOT affect my treatment.)
Dr Grover seems to be a gentle and kind man. He is young compared to me but he has a way that you feel confident and comfortable with him quite quickly.
Took forever to get checked in. Only one receptionist and she was on a phone call for 10 minutes. Took over an hour plus before seeing a doctor. I was asked if a student could come in with the doctor but instead of the doctor the student came in and asked all the questions. I would never have agreed to talk to just the student and not the doctor.
Great doctors and great staff. BUT..please fix the address to show the office is in the Sorensen tower. Impossible to find and no one actually answered the phone when I called four times for help as there are MANY offices and buildings there!
I love dr. Grover. He’s very knowledgeable and was very attentive to the issues I was having.
The technician was very professional, kind and knowledgeable.
Do not go and see this Dr. I went to have an IUD placed and it could not have been more horrific. This was my first attempt at birth control so I didnt know any better. I laid on the table for 45+ min while he tried to place the IUD over and over again. I was bleeding everywhere and he didnt stop, explain, or do anything to improve the pain. In the end, he didnt even get the IUD placed. It was horrible. After a few more months I found the courage to see a different doctor. She was able to place the IUD in minutes with no problems. Do yourself a favor and avoid Dr. Grover.
Dr. Was knowledgeable and very informative. He explained all of my options to me in a clear and concise manner. I felt good when I left.

Nice follow-up with Dr. Grover on the phone. Excellent experience and lovely staff. Thanks
Wish I could give him a 0 star. He was HORRIBLE. I will not go into detail on my visit as I am still traumatized from him.
