This was the most uneducated and rude place Ive ever been to and I came from PCHC! The staff was rude, negligent, disrespectful and careless. Made appointments last minute and never listened. Called and left a reminder on my mother‘s phone that I haven’t spoke to in 17 years and did not give them the phone number and then when I told them that they had the wrong number, they updated it and I still never got any of my appointment reminders until the very last day when I had enough of them, and they finally updated it because I received the text that have been added text reminders. I had a feeling that the ultrasound tech was new. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing, but I’m supposed to place my entire pregnancy on her skills when she’s just an entry-level employee.? Every time I tried to talk to my doctor, whom said I could call him anytime I could only talk to nurses and every question I had none of the nurses knew any of the answers, and finally when I got frustrated with one of them because she denied letting me talk to my doctor for different times I told her I wanted to talk to somebody more educated which in fact the doctor is more educated than a nurse that’s the point of a doctor … She said she didn’t like my Tone because she’s been there for 15 years which newsflash if you’re an old nurse you’re not going to have updated classes or know anything about fertility and research that’s recent… But I’m supposed to trust a four-year degree nurse over an eight year degree doctor sounds sketchy to me. I’ve been waiting a week to hear from my doctor and instead of receive any calls whatsoever I call to ask why my doctor hasn’t called me and the receptionist lets me know that the facility manager tried to call me on Friday which she did not because I have all of my call records And they said she would call me and now it’s been three days and she still has not called me. I’m assuming to fire me as a patient because one nurse said I had a tone but I’m on my second miscarriage they told me that the reason for my miscarriages is just bad luck and , upon my first visit, they never told me any information about what I could eat or safety and care instructions for pregnancy which I’m pretty sure is a routine thing that most pregnancy centers Do. They scheduled me for an ultrasound at barely 5 weeks, which I knew it was too early and then another one at seven weeks, but couldn’t give me a set appointment with my doctor, even though I told them that he could give me a call on the phone, but since he doesn’t usually do that, I had to call off work so I can see him after my ultrasound Because they decided to give me a last-minute appointment rather than call me back and actually schedule it like they appreciated any of my own life and busy schedule . The elderly lady who is a receptionist was extremely rude and I feel like she needs to retire already and so does Mary Dr. Castelli’s nurse because she’s extremely rude and uneducated. She has absolutely no bedside manner and I can guarantee 90% of those people in the OB department have no idea about fertility miscarriages or having a healthy baby. They are there to get a paycheck and that’s it. They try to give you as many things that they can charge you for as possible, but no actual information or education. I was going through my second failed pregnancy and miscarriage and they had no concern for my feelings or emotions and couldn’t even give me a call back and now I have to be my own doctor and find things on Google which actually gave me a whole lot more information like expected management so if you were going through a miscarriage Just know that you do not have to have painful pills or DNC. It is safe to let it come out naturally and it’s a lot better for your emotions and none of these doctors will tell you this because they want money out of you and this is the free version.
The receptionist, the sonogram tech, the lab tech, Nurse Nikki, and Midwife Susan were all very kind and knowledgeable. They each helped to ease my anxiety and worries as a first-time expectant mother at my older age.
This is my second time coming here for my pregnancy, I went to springs for one appointment and immediately decided to travel from pueblo to springs. This office gives false information and pushes for c section births. WE ARE WOMAN AND HAVE BEEN GIVING BIRTH FOR CENTURIES! C sections should only happen if the baby or mom’s health is declining fast. I should have never had a c section with my first and this office is still trying to push me to have a c section. The springs office gave me so much more hope and flexibility for a vback birth. Screw this office and screw parkview
So to begin I came here for pcos trying to get pregnant it took me months and a referral to even get an appointment here and then for my first appointment I saw the doctor for about 10 minutes tops we talked and I feel like I didn’t really learn anything about possible steps to take to get me to my goal but she wanted to do a blood draw so I did that they drew my blood and when finished put a cotton ball and piece of medical tape over it as a bandaid not right at all and as I walked out blood ran all the way down my arm then they told me they would call me with results to schedule me another appointment. When the doctor called she left me a voicemail and when I tried to return her call was told by reception that my doctor had not called me and I ended up having to go in to even get the point across to have them get the doctor to call me back. The doctor then said she would send me a referral to a specialist and DID NOT inform me they didn’t take my insurance so I called to see if I could be referred somewhere that did and was told that wasn’t possible and the doctor would contact me with other corses of action and this was two days ago, no contact so I will be searching for another gynecologist it’s been nothing but stress and loss sense I started going here so I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here
The doctor was insensitive and didnt listen to me at all when I was worried. Yah... I ended up with HELLP syndrome and had to being induced and have a c section because no one listened to me until my liver function was in the garbage. On top of that my doctor made a point in making me feel like a terrible mother because my Postpartum Depression. Dont go here, they dont care. Least the doctor doesnt.
Will never return to this clinic.Reception desk were unprofessional, one couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge me when I walked up to her window.. a simple, please go to the other window would’ve been more appropriate. The second one to call me over, needs to learn to allow someone to speak before interrupting. She claimed the ultrasound tech was “new” and had no idea when I’d be seen… went around the corner and the person said, “she’s only seven minutes past her appointment, if she needs to cancel then cancel”. Unprofessional. Do your job correctly and you wouldn’t be sitting in the hallway being a snot saying how backed up you are. I was there for over 20 minutes, ya know since the “policy” is I’d have to pay if I’m 10+ minutes late.If you’re unable to read an ultrasound then I suggest getting an actual professional in to teach you or find a new profession.Absolutely unacceptable. The patient has a right to know how long they’re expected to sit there without the entire office gabbing about it so loudly that everyone in the waiting room can hear. All of you should most definitely be ashamed of yourselves, I didn’t know this was high school and it was a gossiping center.
I absolutely love this office. Front office is always nice and Mary and Dr.Castelli are truly amazing people. Second pregnancy with this office and I have no bad complaints. Even the ultrasound tech is very friendly and nice.
Dr. Lesavoy is amazing. Shes very considerate and takes her time to hear everything I have to say. I couldnt be happier with the care i recieve from her! Cindy at the front desk is always super sweet and professional!
Showed up early for my appointment was told the doctor would not make my appointment 15 minutes passed my appointment. 3rd time this has happened.
I am 23 weeks pregnant, called office over a week ago to change physicians and have 2 more times since and they just keep sending messages to the office manager to call me back and have yet to recieve a phone call. I have to see the current provider next week rather than the one I want to switch too and I hope its not awkward or uncomfortable.
Dr. Castelli and the ultrasound staff were great but I am now having to find a new office because the front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional. I was told by the doctor I needed to make an appointment in 3 weeks and when I told the receptionist she said “I don’t care I can’t do that” and then scheduled me almost 5 weeks out. Then when I asked her what kind of appointment it was and if it would also be an ultrasound she would not give me an answer and was all around very rude about answering any scheduling questions.
Stay Silent. Not for first time moms.Dr Castilli does not allow for questions, alternatives nor discussions. His word goes. He says jump you say how high. You question his results that means you insult his ego and he dismisses you from the entire clinic. This was after one appointment and I was not allowed to find a caring, educating doctor here.
I definitely had my bad shares of obgyn doctors but I had the best experience with dr Susan czelusta, she talked me through everything and was very patient with me as I can be over dramatic when it comes to pain, she inserted the nexplanon perfectly with little to no bleeding and I had no bruising or pain afterwards , it’s been a long time since I met a doctor that actually cares . I 1000% recommend coming here ! And even though I had came on the wrong day of my appointment the receptionist was nice and very understanding and was able to squeeze us in that day. Overall I had a great experience and I definitely will be back if I could give 10 stars I would!
I had to switch offices because of the receptionist. She was absolutely awful and even made me sit OUTSIDE in 90° weather after my blood was taken. The doctors can’t do anything about it apparently and she is extremely rude about everything. The midwife I had also did not listen to my concerns and I ended up in the ER because of it. They also would not give me my records when I asked so I could switch to a different office. Do not go here.
I just had awful experiences all around at this location. My doctor was nice, but if you have to call and talk to someone, they will talk over you and be extremely rude and unhelpful. I had an appointment scheduled for months and they put it off for numerous weeks even though I really needed to see the doctor in a certain time frame. After that, they started sending information to the wrong address. When I called to complain that I didnt receive private medical information that they were sending me, they make it sound like it was nobodys fault. When I had surgery, they tried to double bill me even though insurance told me to pay the co-pay to the hospital and not to the doctor. When I told them what insurance told me, they threatened to cancel my surgery after I waited months for the procedure unless I wrote them a check. They were mean and aggressive about making me pay something that insurance told me was owed to the hospital.Im sorry, but I dont care to deal with an office that doesnt treat me with respect or value my privacy. I also had a nurse offer me a vaccine that I was 10 years too old to receive. Like they dont look at your chart, they dont get to know you, and theyll reschedule you whenever they feel like it and not care about the inconvenience they may be causing you. I will never go back to this office and I dont recommend anyone else go here!
Dr. Castelli is wonderful and very well informed. He was on top of my care and basically saved my babys and my lives. The ultrasound tech is also awesome. The staff, however, could use some work. The ladies at the front desk are kind of snooty and not friendly. They try to reschedule your appointments all the time and were pretty rude to me when I put up a fight.
Dealt with Dr. Kruse for a year or two and did not like or get along with her. Tried for 2-3 years after to get another provider. Finally got scheduled with Dr. Tonsing for a new patient appointment with a few month wait, and they ended up changing me back to Dr Kruse with no warning or call of consideration. I have now been waiting to get checked for almost 6 months now. I hate this place more and more I have to deal with it. You have your most intimate body parts getting checked and they treat you like youre nothing.Save yourself and dont go here.
Dr. Sara Tonsing is a fantastic Dr. Very caring and professional. Sometimes the office staff can be difficult, as other reviews point out, but thats an unfortunate truth in the area, regardless of the practice. But Dr. Tonsing is wonderful. I wish she wasnt retiring!
My wife went into the clinic for a first visit due to her being pregnant. The front desk asked for insurance and she said tricare select. They wanted her to read my DOD, social security and birthdate out loud with a lobby full of people. She did not because someone would have all our info so she kept trying to pass the paper with it to her and she wouldn’t take it the first few tries. That is HIPPA Violation and I heard it a few times While in the lobby. May be time to retrain some staff.
Omg just called to try to make an appointment couldnt get past how rude the receptionist was. Impatient and would not even let you speak. If that’s how she is I’m 100% not taking the risk and going to any of the providers at this place.
Just moved to Pueblo area with my 31 weeks pregnant fiance. We were receiving excellent service at Swedish Medical Center in Denver and were attempting to transfer our needs to Dr. Sara Tonsings office, but due to a minor issue of getting our records transferred , we havent been able to set up an appointment. When we last called to follow up on the issue, the receptionist blatantly told us to go the the free clinic, as if we didnt have health insurance. My fiance cried from the insult. This is very unprofessional behavior from an office that is supposed to support the needs of women; and to boot, if they really wanted our business, then they would have offered the professional courtesy of contacting our recent doctors office at Swedish and facilitated obtaining the records needed to merely schedule an appointment. Having worked in customer service ourselves, this is what we would have done.
If i could give negative stars I would!!First off, Goodluck getting your money back if they owe you a refund. Last time I talked to them they said it was still going through insurance. I got the notice from insurance so I called them back and they transferred me to voicemail. I left the billing lady a voicemail. Her voicemail says she calls back the same day, she has never called me back. I have called the office multiple times a week for over a month now. I always get transferred to her voicemail. I have complained and they tell me they will talk to her and call me back, they never call back. The desk ladies are rude and always have an excuse!Secondly, I transferred to a different doctor mid pregnancy because the nurses and doctors are awful. This goes for both north and south side offices! Staff is rude. Doctor misdiagnosed my pregnancy! And now this billing issue.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE!!!!
If I could give them no stars I would. I would just like to say how unprofessional and how uncaring this facility is. I called to make an appointment with an OBGYN after having a positive pregnancy. I am new in town and dont have a regular doctor I let the receptionist know that I havent been see before and I would like to make an appointment and talk with someone about some concerns I had. She made me an appointment several weeks away I explained to her that I was having sharp cramping pain as well as some heavy bleeding and I wanted to know if I should go in sooner or go to the ER. She told me she couldnt answer my question because she wasnt a doctor or a nurse. Understandable I asked to speak with someone that could answer my question. She then told me I could not because Im a new patient. I said again that I have some concerns about the pain and bleeding she then told me she would make a note to have a doctor or a nurse call me. That never happened I never got a call or a miss call because I never heard from them I went to the ER and it was an entropic pregnancy. I just couldnt believe how rude the woman on the phone was so uncaring and unhelpful. After finding a OBGYN I couldnt believe how caring and concerned they were with the situation and went out of their way to call and check up on me even though I wasnt a patient. I recommend going an were else.
EDIT: Received a letter stating that Im fired as a patient from the office manager when I asked them for a referral elsewhere, since the PWC wouldnt see me due to what Susan wrote on my chart. They told me to go to the county to find a Doctor. I was told today that Susan wrote that I was non compliant, and rude as a flag on my file for every medical professional that looks at my chart to see. Ive been bleeding for almost 4 months, some of my symptoms indicate endometrial cancer. Ive never seen or dealt with a place like this before in my life. I went in today on 9/22/2017 to request my medical records. I was told it will take 5 days to get them.EDIT: At my follow up appointment for irregular bleeding Susan said if you are bleeding this much you should be anemic. Questioning my sincerity was incredibly insulting and harmed communication. I decided that since I had a negative communication experience both during this visit, and with the Doctor at my yearly that this practice probably wasnt a good fit for me and that I should seek healthcare elsewhere. The care I got here seems like it would work for most people very well, office seemed like a well oiled machine, but doesnt seem like a good fit for women like myself with uterine abnormalities, or more complex health issues who may need more individualized care.Outside of my recent experiences there were some red flags for communication when I went in for my 1st appointment. I was worried about my fertility, and was offered birth control pills or an IUD by Dr Kruse as a solution for my heavy periods, and pelvic pain. I ingeminated that I cant take/dont want hormones, and that I cant have an IUD inserted because of my Mullerian defect.I decided to go to another practice and went to the Pueblo Womens Center seeking assistance, they told me they had openings in a week for new patients. I had my records sent to The Pueblo Womens Health Center, but upon receipt of my medical records they denied me care. To reiterate: I was told that I could get an appointment in about a week, until they read whatever was in the records sent to them by Associates. The open availability a week out when I went in to fill out paperwork morphed into None of the Doctors here have any availability at all. They wouldnt give me an appointment months out; seems very strange. The Pueblo Womens Center told me that they asked Associates to refer me to another provider after rejecting me as a patient. I called Associates and told them what PWC said. I was told by Dr Kruses front desk woman that I was supposed to get a callback from the office manager about this probably by next day. I called Associates on Thursday of last week (9/14) currently its Wednesday of a new week (9/20), still no callback. Im still bleeding, its been 3 and a half months, have no idea what is causing this unending bleeding; and as of yet no gynecological health care provider.Older review: They scheduled me with the midwife instead of my doctor and then asked us to come back the next day after taking off work because they made a scheduling error. Midwife couldnt help me. A huge waste of time and money, plus now I have to find a new doctor in the middle of having unexplained bleeding for 2 months
First off the ladies who answer the phones are rude. One gal said “idk what to tell you” and hung up the phone. Second it doesn’t matter what your health concern is, big or small they are in no rush to get you into their office or send you else where. If you love going to the doctor for 9-10 months and never getting any answers for your concerns then this would be the perfect place for you.
Extremely annoyed because I waited almost a month for my referral to go through just to get denied and wasn’t given a reason why. I know it isn’t because of my insurance because I had called prior to asking to be referred to her. I was told to go back to the health center but I obviously don’t want to go there if I asked to be referred somewhere else. Don’t even waste your time with her because your health is important!!
This review and rating is specifically for Jennifer Roberts, CNM and CeCe at the south side office (not necessarily for other doctors, nurses, or admin staff because billing/payment can quickly turn into a cluster). Our working relationship with Jen Roberts was absolutely outstanding and top-notch. Six weeks after having our baby, we still talk about how amazing Jen was and how thankful we are that we finally stumbled upon her services. She calls things as she sees them, she will not sugar coat her advice, and she respects the choices you make even when it is somewhat contrary to her advice. She goes above and beyond for her clients and I could not be more pleased with how things went with her. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars.
I havent gone yet but i have been waiting for a appointment since February. Schedule for april but got pushed to june now it got pushed again to july.I have been suffering since then with blood clots big as softballs and bleeding out since a month and a half and still bleeding. It has brought major anxiety that i have never had before and i dont want to do outings afraid to leak through. Im DONE!!!!
Ive received excellent care from Dr.Lesavoy and all the team of the Womans Health Care Medical Group. Everyone is friendly and professional.
My wife was referred here by her primary care and the front desk staff is very rude and disrespectful when we called and asked for help, the receptionist said “your health isn’t a priority to the doctor right now” “so see you in 8 weeks”. I never even leave reviews but you know what they had this coming. DO NOT GO HERE. I’m gonna call the BBB too.
I had an IUD placement here and the midwife was quick plus talked me through everything she was doing. I was nervous going in but she made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. I couldnt be more than happier with the level of care I received.
Susan, set the standards high for me in regards to care. I miss her soo much. I wish she was here to deliver my second son in Hawaii. Everyone was such a delight and made every appt amazing 🥰
The receptionists have really bad attitudes & it is a complete run around when it comes to getting test results & trying to speak with a nurse. It seems as though this place just lacks compassion & care for their patients. However, Dr. Castelli is great but its stressful dealing with this place otherwise.
Dr Joseph castelli and his staff are AMAZING! Helped me and changed my life in so many ways!!!!! Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for listening to me and understanding what is was going through. I AM NOW PAIN FREE AFTER MANY MANY YEARS! You listened you understand and you helped. I will be forever GREATFUL!
The attending nurse is exceptional. I wish I remembered her name. Dark long hair. Was there a 9 this morning to do my procedure. Painless, quick and professional!
Dr. Dion and nursing staff are exceptional!! However one member of the front desk staff is horrible sometimes can make scheduling and confirm appointments hard, but if you can get past that you will get great care!
The midwives and nurses are excellent. But a 30 second interaction with the check-in counter could possibly ruin your day. Not all but some definitely need a training course in courtesy.
I absolutely love my doctor! But every time I call to make an appointment or have a concern the ladies at the desk are so rude and make it difficult to want to call back.
Dr. Dion was a new Dr for me. She took time to get to know me, my health history and concerns. Dr Dion was very knowledgeable and helpful.
The staff has been patient and understanding with me and my wifes situation and are acting promptly to help in the best ways they see fit. I am ever grateful.
Absolutely horrible care. Misdiagnosed and insulted in office. Dont trust your health or your unborn babys health with them.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS. Women, please, if you value your reproductive health go elsewhere! I wish I could give no STARS!!!!
Worst experience ever. These people don’t care about their patients. Run as fast as you can away from this place.
Dr. Yuan and Nicki and the staff up front are and have always been so great.
