I love how they are open late and on weekends as well. It saved me a trip to the ER. The staff was great from the front desk to the nurse. I think her name is Batrice to the Doctor. Although my son was very scared, they were all so patient and understanding. Thank you to everyone in your staff. Yes, you can share.
I mostly delt with Jen a provider with 16 years with Physicians Immediate Care and Samantha doing quite a bit of emails back and forth.I have used PIC on and off for at least 2 decades. When utilizing the services the immediate care provides as a patient have quite literally always felt valued. Ive encountered stitches various symptoms of illness slivers metal and or wood to name a few. I have had Jen in the past as a provider. I commented to her how I remember her by compassionate care and willingness to explain any and all questions. Although I know some days are busier than others I never felt rushed or minimized in any capacity overall I cant only remember 1 time with the kids there I asked them to change the visit from a level 3 to a 2 with the respect to scopeof service. Out of the many providers I have received above average care nun the less.As for Samantha the several calls and emails were handled quickly and responsibly with just the perfect amount of empathy to make this current experience just as valuable as previous visits. Thanks for taking the time to read this opinion of the lifetime history I have of all the Physican Immediate care facilities in Rockford as well as Roscoe with the current visit to Alpine and Sandy Hollow Rd
Went in for a school physical for my daughter, I was able to schedule her right away on their website. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Ms. Speer made my daughter feel very comfortable during the exam and she was very friendly.
He was caring and understanding. He truly helped me without just throwing pain pills at me like all other doctors do. He actually gave me something that helped my back. I have gone through this with my back for years now. It just keeps getting irritated and when it is, it lays me out. Now I got relief within hours and it was down to adult ache very quickly. A heartfelt thank you to him. Physicians immediate care I want to thank you for having him on your staff.
Went to PIC to get tested for strep. The nurse was good, but Dr. Sharma was great. He has the best bedside manner that I have ever dealt with!
I was feeling really bad when coming in the clinic. The staff look really good care of me. They did some treatment in the office and prescribed medication I needed. Feeling better a day later.
I had a serious sinus infection which was coming on for about 3 weeks and wasn’t getting better. I visited the PIC clinic. After examining me the doctor prescribed an effective antibiotic and after taking 3 tablets I am feeling much better. Very good care!
I visited yesterday with a sore throat thinking it was my usual bout of strep throat for the year...after a pretty quick time in the waiting room I was brought in to room 5 swabbed me , Jennifer came in and explained more to me turns out the quick test came back as a negative and instead of getting amoxicilian she prescribed a steroid which I never got before even when strep test came back negative.....she was so nice in explaining everything , great interaction!!!Turns out the steroid was a much better option, I felt like absolute sh!t and within an hour of taking the steroid my throat started feeling better. As of this morning I feel 💯 but I still have a few days left of the steroids which I have to finish of course.Thank you Jennifer you were amazing!!!
I found the entire Team at Physicians Immediate Care (at the South Alpine location), to be very accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional.I love the fact that you can schedule an appointment time online, vs sitting in a crowded waiting room for 2 hours.I was diagnosed quickly, received treatment and instructions within a few minutes of arrival.I would definitely go back to this location again. Kudos to the Team at this location!
Workers (all positions involved in the process) were very helpful, attentive and made me feel comfortable during exam. Dr was informative with the questions I had and didn’t try to “give it to me soft”. Honest and to the point.
The reason why I have to give this negative review is for the ridiculous wait time! I came to get a TB test reading and I am waiting for more than two hrs with my son!!. It was faster when I got the TB test administered bc I came in when they were about to close. Never again. This is the last time I’m coming to this immediate care.
Everyone working here were very polite and knowledgeable. They asked and answered questions, ran a test and prescribed my medication in a timely manner. I was out the door in 30 minutes, from 6:30-7 pm. I will continue to recommend others to go here.
Megan is competent, thorough and friendly. I was at your clinic once before and saw her then. I was so pleased when I saw her come in the room on this visit.
Everyone was very professional also very helpful and kind clean establishment and stirle.i would go back. nurse who did my testing was very professional. Sister with long braids was absolutely Kool thank you ladies for helping me
Any time I cant get into see my regular physician due to my asthmatic needs, I come as a walk in to Physicians Immediate Care. The Doctors are very professional and listen to my needs. I always leave with the help I was seeking. Thank you for taking good such great care of your patients.
Be prepared if you dont have one of the top three insurance companies youll be asked to pay a $165 good fath payment. Only after having sat in the waiting room for an hour. Taking care of an individuals ailment isnt top priority its all about making the all mighty dollar.
My experience at physicians immediate Care was excellent. The entire staff was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this medical office to friends and family.
Went in for a Dot medical exam! Whole staff from checking in, talking with the assistant and finally seeing the Doctor was flawless! I woul highly recommend there services, which are unmatched!!
The staff very friendly and patient with me while I tried to get my WC paperwork emailed to them the nurse and doctor very nice got me in and out in a timely manner
I was having a wrist issuector, so I decided to come here. Because I know they can do x-rays if necessary. The service was great. I was a walk patient. It was not long for me to be called back. The nurse and the doctor were very professional and friendly. Was diagnosed very quickly and received treatment and instructions.
The employees chit chat and dont attend to the customers the last time I went there was a 3 or 4-Hour wait its like they dont care if you got anything to do! They shouldnt have closed the morsay drive location. They really need to open it back up!
The nurse Allison Doctor Jennifer were very theral. The staff is very accommodating to.Jennifer told me more in 20 minutes than sweds could of done in 7 visits.
I was handled with care in relatively short order. PA Jennifer Speer has great patient interaction and thoroughly explained what I had and what I needed to do to get better.
Provider and medical staff are knowledgeable and professional. The app and appointment scheduling as well as efficiency of front desk staff needs improvement.
I was very happy with my treatment, from the receptionist to the physicians assistant that roomed me and did my x-rays to the visit with the Dr.
Every experience with this place just proves concerning. I’ve been coming for a workman’s comp injury, location chosen by an insurance company- not me. It’s dirty, disorganized, and haphazard in all details. When I had to reschedule an appointment they set set up for me but conflicted with my work schedule (this has happened four times now), they rescheduled me but then called my employer to say I was negligent to show up for my originally scheduled appointment. Making me look like I didn’t reschedule. They text me to check myself in by uploading pictures of my driver’s license but my employer insurance is paying for my injury. The staff are not licensed nurses or physicians. The place looks like it’s never been cleaned. IT IS SO DIRTY IN HERE. I can’t stand coming here. My veterinarian office is cleaner then any of these offices. The X-ray equipment is old. The place is run down. It stinks. The walls are marked up. There’s body hair and dirty debris in all the exam tables. The paper on the table is crinkled and sat in from previous patients every time I get roomed. I refuse to sit on the table. It’s so gross.
I would recommend Well Now Urgent Care (Physician’s Immediate Care) located on the corner of Alpine and Sandy Hollow, Rockford, Il., to anyone who asks for an immediate care suggestion. Very professional and caring staff.
It was an amazing experience from the Receptionist up to the doctor … every thing was well taken care of including pre examination to X-ray… I wish if all other institution has same types of healthcare professionals…. Over all above and beyond 👍👍😊😊
I didnt have an appointment and I didnt have to wait very long. The NP was very nice and very through. I am incredibly thankful for care and service I received.
The Dr I saw was very professional and very nice to speak with I would recommend him to my friends and family with no qualms. Dr Sharma is very nice .
I made an appointment online which was an easy process. My appointment was only 5 minutes after my arrival. Doctor was attentive, wrote a script and I was on my way. Definitely recommend this facility.
I had a friend fast and friendly visit. I took my DOT for work. The help there was excellent. Thank you.
Made an appointment, showed up and was told my children couldnt be seen. Most ridiculous thing ever dont have a provider in the office for something that the website let me schedule
Very professional on what they are doing and how they do it. Thankyou very much for getting me in and out didnt believe what to expect I know now I will refer this place to other who are needing professional help
Everyone there was so nice and friendly. The receptionist was kind the PA was great. He answered all my questions and was very thorough. I would definitely go back to this location.
I would give this place no stars.Should have listened to the review with the photos of all the bad reviews. This place is filthy. There is no handicap entrance.I decided to not even be seen it was so bad, and called my credit card company to revoke the mandatory Co pay (first time in 4 years theyve been this bad). So i left, and headed over to swedes ER. Theyve been awesome with securing a room and getting back to me with lung rattling. And treated for severe sinus and ear infection.Fuk your apathy Saint Anthony and well care. You Dont give a flying fuk about anything other than money.
M Medina was awesome. Explained everything in a way I could understand. Easy to talk with.
I was checked in minutes after my arrival. The wait time was reasonable. The explanation of my condition and prognosis was understandable. A prescription was called into my pharmacy. It was a much better experience than my primary care physician’s office that took two hours to call back to offer an appointment two days later.
I had very bad sore throatCouldn’t find any primary doctorI m new in RockfordJust click on immediate physicianGot an appointment at 10 AmAll staff are very friendly & professionalDr Arnaud Brisard is very nice & friendlyWith in two days I got reliefThank you Dr & team
Kyle was amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor. Thank you so much Kyle for stitching my face back together!!
Been in my room for almost an hour and still have not seen the doctor. The lights in the room are automatic and shut off every 2-3 minutes. They have shut off over 24 times since I have been here. The staff is aware and their solution was for me to move around. Excuse me but Im in pain. I do not want to move around. Terrible service. I should have taken the extra time to drive further into Rockford. I will not be back.
I would give more stars lol I love the physicians Immediate care. I did a walk in and I seen Dr. Craig Richards hes the best I would recommend to go there instead of waiting 5 or more hours in the e.r. I was in and out and the staff was amazing 👏🏻 🤩
My experience at the Urgent Care was great. They made the process of registering simple and seamless. The staff is very courteous and kind. The doctor was very efficient and informative concerning my situation. Wonderful establishment!
The staff was very friendly. Kudos to the front desk staff, they are transparent and helpful with your questions. Nurse Jenny is so sweet. Great team @ the Alpine location, Rockford, IL
Jennifer PA was very kind. She diagnosed my issue right away. Gave an explanation Gave an explanation of how it occurred and what to do to take care of it.
The only negative was wait before being seen, but I was a walkin. All treated me with respect and listened to me and I appreciated that.
Horrible customer service! First, when you have two front desk clerks, I shouldn’t have to register my daughter to be seen by the doctor myself. That’s like shopping at Walmart, then having to check out your own groceries. If that’s the case, then just eliminate those two jobs. They have no purpose being there except maybe to collect your money. Second, I took my daughter there to seek treatment on a foot injury. I provided them with two forms of insurance; my insurance and her father’s insurance. I explained to them my insurance was primary and her father’s insurance was secondary. They proceeded to tell me I owed them a $131 balance before she could be seen and treated by the doctor. I asked why I needed to pay a balance when they haven’t even ran it through the secondary insurance yet. We pay on two insurance plans, then are forced to pay upfront cost before they even run it through both insurance plans. When I questioned the front desk clerk (the one requesting the balance upfront) about the reasoning, the other front desk clerk (who was actively helping another customer) interrupted and said, “We don’t make the rules.” Extremely unprofessional! Explain to me how this remark is helping the situation?! And how is it fair I pay on two insurance plans, then I’m forced to pay the upfront cost of treatment before my daughter can be seen and treated by the doctor before the cost is even processed through the two insurance plans? If an individual under state aid comes in to seek treatment do they have to pay the cost upfront until they receive payment from the state?! I will never go back to another Physicians Immediate Care. I paid the requested amount upfront because I wasn’t able to get into her pediatrician, and she needed immediate care. But I will look for another urgent care clinic so I don’t have to pay any upfront cost when she’s in need of immediate care. What if I didn’t have the extra money? Then I’m forced to go to the emergency room? Isn’t this the whole reason for insurance? My insurance doesn’t even have a deductible. So, the working class continues to get hammered while others continue to get a free ride! Absolutely ridiculous!
Reception was rude and wait time was unbelievable. Kept calling patients that arrived after me before they called me in. Another patient pointed this same problem out about her own daughter and she was called in immediately. But when I asked the receptionist about this she pretty much waved me off, then waited another good 15 minutes to let me know there was problems with my insurance and that I had a balance which she should have let me know way earlier judging by how she let previous patients know about these issues immediately when they came in. Overall, my wait time was 2 hours and I was there up until they closed at 8PM.
Longest wait of my life for a drug test3 people who came in for the same pre employment screening but the one who came in to work for OSF got in first despite entering last...This prejudice shouldnt happen in medical care facilitiesThey explained my wait to a paperwork errorBut I could hear the receptionist say how do I do this? Ive never done this type of screening beforeInstead of asking for help I waited until she could figure it out
If I could give them negative stars I would. This place is absolutely ridiculous. My son hurt his foot so he went there. They told him he needed an MRI. He couldnt work and his work needed a letter. My son called non-stop for a week and a half to get this referral. He even went in a few times. It took me to threaten them with a call to my attorney to actually get the referral sent over. After the MRI was done the place doing them MRI said Physicians Immediate Care would read the results. They called him in to get the results. He went in and they handed him 2 pieces of paper with his diagnosis and said you are all set. They didnt explain the diagnosis to him and they didnt tell him how long he had to be in a boot for and off work. They simply did nothing. Im sure he will get a nice bill for their services though. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell everyone of this terrible service. They are a bunch of idiots that dont want to work. I cannot believe they are still open.
The waiting room was full, yet the office was fast and efficient. I believe I was in and out seeing a doctor, diagnosed and with a script in under 30 minutes total time. I also felt well supported while I was there. The staff was friendly and informative. All in all, I felt the service and support was a 10 out of 10.
5 stars for care. Every time we have come to this facility we have gotten a Dr. (so far) who takes their time, listens, and genuinely seeks to help get to the root of the problem. Admittedly the wait time isn’t always the greatest. However on our most recent visit we were immediately warned that we might have a 2 hour wait. We actually only ended up waiting around 50 minutes. So in spite of a significant back up we still got in relatively quickly for a walk in clinic.
I was impressed by this well organized urgent care. Paperwork went smoothly and I received excellent care from Jennifer SpearsShe has a great personality and gives easy to understand instructions for care .
Im 62 years old and have been in the care of many medical physicians. What I love about PIC is their prompt and informed service. Ive come to obtain my physical, drug test, as well as testing for TB. per. Employment. PICs staff and medical team was well aware of who I was and gave professional assistance. Thank you.
Daughter needed a sports physical. The staff was friendly and we were in and out in a timely manner.
Made appointment online knowing that I still might wait if another person (walk in) had a more immediate health problem than mine, which is the way it should be. I was pleasantly surprised when I was taken in almost right on time. Staff was professional and personable right down to lady checking garbage cans. A+ Thank you
Thank you for the welcome service. We were well received and well treated. Keep doing this.
If I could give 0 stars I would.Came in for an infected toe nail. They said they could do nothing for it. They sent a prescription for antibiotics to the wrong place. Long story short, they did nothing for me and now I have a bill in collections that I am refusing to pay.You guys SUCK!!!!
Arnaud was awesome. Friendly, concise, helpful.
Dr. Littlefield did an excellent job connecting with my son and putting him at ease. He took his time and listened to my concerns. He and the staff were also so kind when I called a few days later with a follow up question. I would highly recommend going to this place for your immediate care needs.
My observation when I enter any business:Is the location safe, easily accessible, clean parking lot, clean windows, clean floors, clean facility. Then staff:Are they present and there to greet me with a smile and professional attitude. Are they well trained for their position. Is the wait time appropriate for the amount of patients in the waiting area. When escorted back to the exam room, is it clean and well stocked with what staff will need when they enter the room. The professional attitude, the willingness to listen, the ability to make me feel that Im in good hands by all staff that I encounter. And to walk out of the visit knowing that the provider and the staff worked well together, supported each other, and communicated with each other to make my visit a positive experience.South Alpine location staff is excellent and highly recommended!Thank you so much for being who you are!
Walk in at Sandy Hollow and S Alpine, Rockford. This was by far the best walk in experience Ive ever had. EVERYONE from the front desk to the nurse, to the exray tech, to the Doctor! Friendly, upbeat, thorough. Made me feel like part of their family. Thank you all.
I got in very quickly quickly to the immediate care clinic, I think I only waited about 20 minutes, which is a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Littlefield was very thorough. He ordered an x-ray, which I thought was appropriate, he gave me a tentative diagnosis, an order for physical therapy, and a couple of mild exercises to help my shoulder and the recommendation to use ice and not heat. He was very thorough and very pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone I thought he was very good.
My kids were all sick and we couldnt get into see our primary care Dr. So I looked up urgent care. They take state medicaid and we didnt have to wait that long. They got us all in and out within two hours. We were all seen and tested for more serious things and got the all clear. So we got peace of mind and what to do. They gave the kids dr notes for school and worked well with kids with special needs. Ill definitely be back of we need it again.
I visited Physicians Immediate yesterday for a cough ive had for 3 weeks, and i got in a room within about 10 minutes and got prompt care in the room and everyone was very nice. Definately glad i went.
Had to go to PIC for a new Employment Physical Exam. Everyone was was very nice and friendly. The front desk receptionist was welcoming and said “Good morning” my wait time in the waiting room was about 20 minutes. The Medical Assistant was kind and courteous as well. Overall I had a pleasant experience.
Physicians immediate care on alpine have the most kind and caring staff working from the greeting, when you walking in and the goodbyes when you walking out . They took great care of me , didnt have to wait long at all .
I was in and out of there. Great experience. A few years ago I waiting for eight hours to get my physical done. I’ll be back here again for sure. And the doctor was awesome.
Was happy with reception and Physician’s Assistant Mark but getting the referral dept (Lorelai, Laurie or Laurel possibly ) to contact me with ortho referral not so great. Called for 5 days straight before Kiersten (who answered the phone) opened my chart and told me there was an actual referral, otherwise I would still be waiting! Apparently you need to be a mind reader. 1/18 finally got into ortho and found out this place gave me wrong stabilizing boot so for two weeks been in wrong boot. Terrible!
The staff and doctors are friendly and they make sure you receive prompt attention. They are committed to helping you get well and that you get the service you deserve. I definitely will go back.
The experience was good, the wait time was good. I’m appreciative of your service. The Dr. started complimenting my granddaughter. He commented how pretty she looked and what a nice coat she had and that she could be a super model. Was not expecting that, I thought it was a bit much, then he proceeded to lean back and talk about instances in his own family with his daughter. Just wasn’t expecting that. Not sure how to take it.
My 85-year-old mother was in great pain. We feared she had fractured a rib, as she has very fragile bones and this has happened before. We arrived at Physician’s Immediate Care about 25 minutes before closing, and feared being turned away. Not only did they welcome us in, but they told us to never worry about it being close to closing, that PATIENT CARE COMES FIRST! The support staff and nurses were very caring and gentle. We saw a very thorough and kind doctor, had xrays done, and a prescription sent in. In and out in less than an hour. Top-notch care from start to finish. Would definitely recommend!
I made an appointment and when I got there, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes. No receptionist anywhere.I have had sinus congestion, pain and burning for 5 days along with a fever. I came in for some antibiotics to help. The doctor walked in said my ears looked clear and my lungs and heart sounded good. He said I more than likely have covid... ummm it is all in my sinuses, I have a history of terrible sinus infections, and he jumps immediately to covid. Antibiotics have always helped when I get these and now he says they decided antibiotics dont help sinus infections and again wants to talk covid. I wasted my time, a $30 copay, and was subjected to lord only knows how many germs for absolutely no reason. What a colossal waste of time.My sinuses still feel awful 😖
I went to the Immediate Care for a cough. Jennifer Speer took the time to investigate my health issue. She encouraged me to check out the status of my lungs with x~rays. She diagnosed me with pneumonia. I have the medications I need to get me back to my healthy self. I am grateful for her time and thoughtful attention.
Arnaud Brisard (PA) cared for my elderly mother at Physicians Immediate Care and we were both very happy with the treatment she received from him. He spoke very clearly and loud enough for her to hear and understand him, which many providers do not do or seem frustrated with. He explained every step of the process, the results and the after care to us in a way that was easy to understand. He displayed empathy and warmth as well. I highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care and especially Arnaud Brisard.
I was visiting from out of town and got very sick and went to Physician care and was seen quickly and compassionately
Great doctors and great assistants, gets a little busy but don’t let the front desk discourage you from waiting
Excellent, clean facility. Seamless process from online registration, short wait time, and wonderful bedside manner by every person we encountered.
We had an appointment and we got in fast and the ladies at the desk were very nice. The doctor came in and was super nice and even though it was just a sport’s physical he asked a lot of questions and was very attentive.
I was very happy with my experience. The front desk staff were friendly and communicative, the nurse and PA were professional and competent, wait time was minimal, and care was excellent.
The staff (receptionist, nurse, PA) were extremely kind and patient. We were a walk in around 3:45pm and had very little wait time. I was very pleased with the experience.
My experience with physicians immediate care on alpine was amazing. They made me feel so at home and comfortable. It was my birthday and they told me happy birthday 🎊 I appreciated that. 😊😊
Made appointment online. Were seen immediately by receptionist, 10 minutes later by very thorough nurse Beatrice, following tests by doctor. Professional and rapid.
Rude receptionist refusedTo takeMy paperwork and kept insisting I check in on my phone while the phone kept kicking meOff the registration screen. She also skipped meOverForAnotherPatient. WillNot be coming back I was on time but I added a lot of time to be calledBack! It was the receptionist withTheLight blond hair.
Physicians Immediate care was great!! The nurse who took us back was amazing. Dr. Mark was great with my son. He was extremely caring and showed concern for my sons well being. I’m extremely happy with the way my sons visit went.
Everything was great with everyone I had contact with from walking in the door until I was released; just one tiny thing, the blood pressure cuff was too tight on my arm. I will be recommending friends and family. L.F. 08/23
I went here for an employer screening. Clean, nice people. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the fact that I needed to upload my driver’s license then surrender my driver’s license(seemed redundant to me & not safe with all the identity theft going on). They held on to it until I finally got to go back for my exam. I asked the receptionist to allow me to keep my driver’s license on my person until it was my turn. She went back to retrieve it only to return without it and informed me they were calling me soon😔. Other than that the staff is nice & the facility is clean. I took pictures.
Staff is always very helpful and friendly! MA Luis never fails to make us feel comfortable and confident with the care we receive
I had a great experience at this facility. Mark is wonderful and genuinely cared about his patients. The staff is also wonderful and takes the time to talk to you.
Everyone was very nice...Dr Richards listened to what I had to say. He was very thorough and let me know what was going on...Very professional and caring.
The girl at the front desk was absolutely horrible. She and another patient were screaming at me. She was angry because I did not register on the phone and I told her I was unable. She read me the riot act and told me in the future I wouldnt be seen unless I did it on the phone. She wanted to use my phone instead of me filling out a paper registration. She would not let me speak and when I would try she told me not to talk to her that way and she was going to deny me service! I was NOT rude. she was with an attitude. I have been there 10 times in the last year and I will not go back! So if you dont have a cell phone you dont get service? Sick people are there for help NOT harassment!
I brought my daughter in on Saturday morning because she was sick and had been sick. She’d spiked a fever and her pediatrician was closed. The doctor kept reiterating to only call her pediatrician & that they “don’t give antibiotics to one year olds” (my daughter’s been on them before) and that there’s nothing nobody can do. I took her to her pediatrician yesterday after a weekend of 102 fever, and we left with the antibiotic one year olds apparently don’t get, and a severe double ear infection as well as RSV. thanks, Dr Bell.
Alpine & Sandy Hollow physicians immed. care is my 1st choice for urgent care. Knock on wood they have always come thru though I hope to not have a need soon.
Everyone at the office was very sweet , Jennifer was very gentle with me as I came in with a back injury. I’m newer to the area so I don’t have a pcp , Jennifer made the visit easy and she gave me some good advice if I could make her my pcp I would.
Amazing staff and quality of care! Provider Jennifer Speer did a fantastic job testing and treating my daughter, and the nurses and staff made us feel at ease. Very caring and positive experience!
I found my experience to feel welcomed, the staff was very nice. Didnt have to wait at all, as I had made an appointment before hand. I was takin in within 5 minutes of arriving. The nurse was very nice, knowledgeable, listened to what I had to say. She explained everything completely. I was very impressed with my visit. Would go back if need be..😀
My experience at physicians immediate care rockford alpine sandy hollow was excellent from the check in to the physical exam everything was very quick and professional the provider Jennifer spear was exceptionally professional and very thorough over all great experience.
Excellent staff and very friendly. I was seen within 10 minutes of getting there and had 4 x-rays done. I was out the door after only being there approximately 90 minutes from start to finish (filling out paperwork, getting my medical history taken, seeing the Doctor, 4 x-rays taken and seeing the Doctor again to explain the findings). I have never been in and out of an Emergency room, Immediate/Urgent care facility that quickly. AWESOME JOB EVERYONE!!! I would DEFINITELY go back there and RECOMMEND this facility. Keep up the Outstanding job!!
When I arrived the receptionist seemed pretty over her day. After I had issues registering on my phone she sighed and provided me forms to fill by hand. Presumably she was not pleased to have to enter info by hand. The physician herself spent 5 minutes hearing my concerns and then told me to follow up with another doctor. They are probably over worked and understaffed like all businesses these days. Unfortunately when you arent feeling well it can leave you feeling worse when you encounter this. I was left wishing I had just stayed home.
I was able to get in and get a rapid test done last night. They were very efficient and courteous, and had great safety measures in place. They took great care with me and when the doctor came in to give me my test result, which was negative she was really, really nice. She even checked my throat, listened to my chest for breathing. WOW, I received a mini exam. All in all it was a great experience. Great job to the doctor and staff at Physician Immediate Care in Rockford, IL, on Alpine Road.
I have been fortunate enough to not have the need to visit an immediate care very often in my life. That being said, I had a great experience here. I did wait quite a while even with an appointment (but I expected that so I wasn’t mad). But the Dr. was very apologetic and made sure he heard all of the issues I was there for. I didn’t feel rushed once I had my time with the Dr. I liked that I had the option to buy medication there without using my insurance for a very cheap cost. I have since received a follow up text stating they hope I’m doing well and if I needed anything to call them. I know that it’s all automated but it is a nice personal touch when you are going through a hard time.
Even tho the wait was kinda long the women who helped me and do my tests was very nice and made it a very pleasant visit.
The lady at the front desk, the staff member that came in the room and took my vitals, and the physicians assistant that treated me were all great. Didnt even make me feel like a baby when I didnt need stitches like I thought I did!
The doctor I had…. he didn’t look me in eyes while talking to me, he talked to my boyfriend who was sitting on a chair in the corner while I was sitting on the patient table/bed about the medication I would be taking. He just kind of mumbled things and I felt very discouraged to ask questions. He seemed like my issues weren’t important. The rest of the staff is really wonderful! I will not be coming here again and I don’t recommend this place to other women in the Rockford area. Very upsetting experience.
Have used PIC S. Alpine several times for myself and family. Most experiences have been good, support staff is pretty consistent, doctors have differing levels of care, compassion and ability. While Dr. Mark is more unconventional in bedside manner, I appreciated his realistic approach to addressing my health concern.
Fast clean friendly service with professional staff and in my opinion top tier medical staff. Music choice is a bit off as I can only hear what I believe is Spotify top 10 pop hits, Id like a bit of variety but nonetheless a great place if you need to be seen quickly. They do have Spanish peaking staff which does come in handy for my non-English speaking relatives.10/10 highly recommend
The staff was kind and efficient , especially for the holiday afternoon (9-1-19). We got to see the doctor within 10 minutes. She did her thing and explained to us ,the injury was worse than we thought. A short ambulance ride to the emergency room and yes, the doctors decision was the correct one for us.Thank you. Trust your physicians decision , her confidence in her ability was not compromised, just the opposite. She knew we needed more and was not hesitant to say , you need a hospital. 9-2-19 Monday 3:30pm the staff fr Alpine immediate Care clinic just called to see how my husband was doing.I filled them in and thanked them for the decisions they made with us. What a great staff. Protocol , maybe , but we are so grateful for you and your staffs concern. Again thank you so much for the extra effort. Over and above.
To be honest I was treated poorly!! I went online and did the reserve your time for 3:30 p.m..I arrived at 3:17..didnt get called to a room till 4:02 pm..vitals done by 4:06..CNA leaves room and I dont see anyone..By 4:45 still no doctor and nobody even comes in to let me know whats going on so after all that I left without being seen..If they were busy all they had to do was come in the room and let me know instead of ignoring me..
I went to Physicians Immediate Care yesterday with a bad cold, cough, and ear infection. They got me in very quickly and I was in and out of there in record time!!! I got my prescription filled that afternoon and today after only 2 doses I feel much better!!! Thaks to all of you there who took care of me!!! I will come back again when I am in need of your great services!!! You are highly recommended by me and I will let all my family and friends know that you are the place to go for expert and fast Immediate care!!!
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with getting me registered. I waited probably about 20 minutes to be taken back. Both the nurse and doctor were very kind. Prompt, but listened. Overall a great experience.
My experience with physicians immediate Care was a good one. I like the fact that I can sign up online for a Time so I can not lose a place or have to wait longer because I just walked in. The position I had was excellent and the treatment was excellent also. I would use them again in a similar situation.
I had to get a Covid test taken and I was very pleased with the easy and user friendly registration process online, including being able to add all information to skip the front desk upon arrival. Once I was registered, I received helpful texts to guide me through the process. When I arrived at PIC, I was called by a very friendly and caring person from the front desk to inform me of what the process would be. During a time that I’m assuming the staff is very burned out and frustrated, everyone I spoke to and/or saw in person was extremely respectful, caring and pleasant.
Ladies at desk were very polite. Doctor Jennifer ( I believe was her name).was very polite and she gave me medicine to help get me back healthy. It took less than 30 mins to be seen. I was thankful.for that so I could get back home and rest. Thank you Physicians Immediate Care!
Made an appointment, checked in at 1:45p for my appointment at 2:05p. Waited to move in line but got to 2 and stopped. Needed my license and insurance, ( I have been here before). I was having trouble loading my id and insurance cards. Was told we can’t complete your registration without these documents. I finally got it done. It’s now 2:40p says I am checked in. I go in and was told go back and wait in my car to be called in. I asked how long, 3 people ahead of you, I walked out. A gentlemen was giving his insurance cards when I walked in, so why could I not have done that when I first checked rather then sit in my car for 40 minutes only to be sent back to car. Very poor communication and customer service.
Very attentive with great care, once I finally got in. Scheduled a 1:00 appt, arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. Had to call an hour later to remind them I was still sitting in the parking lot…waiting. Was told they had a trauma. I watched the front door for over an hour…there was no trauma that came in the front door. However, numerous persons did come and go during that time. Once inside, there were 2 people in the waiting area. I was shown to room 6. I walked past rooms 1-5 and all but #2 was unoccupied.
I was able to get a 15 minute COVID test when needed. I found the facility to be very clean. I appreciate the precautions that were taken to keep me and others safe. My nurse and provider were professional and thorough. It may take more time than you expect, as with any medical appointment. Great experience overall.
I had an excellent experience! I was there getting a physical for my TRT replacement. The people were fast and very polite. The receptionist was terrific and the doctor was a joy too. They got me in and out of there in a very short period of time. I had barely any wait. I will be using them Physicians immediate care going forward for any medical needs i have. Love this place!!!!
The front desk staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. While I was in and out in a timely manner, the medical staff didn’t seem friendly nor did it seem like they wanted to truly help with my issue. I felt as if I was being written off more so by the doctor himself. He didn’t seem to know what he was talking about. When he came in he was immediately cold and didn’t even introduce himself to me as I have never been there before.
Physicians are always available when you need them. They don’t give you appointments months away my kind of doctors open 7 days a week. Love the whole staff on shandy hollow together we stand! Thank you
Don’t get me wrong I love my family doctor but when I am sick and cannot get in to see her nobody takes better care of me than Dr. Jennifer Spree. Dr. Spree is a real professional and David is just as wonderful. Thank you Dr. Spree
Great service. Made an appointment online so there was little wait time! The nurse practitioner excellent! He was fast but not to fast, explained the issues and then didn’t make us wait for the aftercare summary!! Made both my daughter (the patient) and myself feel comfortable
I received wonderful care!! I am very grateful for the kindness and expertise of Jon and Meaghan. My situation could have became a lot worse, but they were able to help me, and no visit to the ER! From beginning to end the process was very smooth and everyone I encountered was great. Im very thankful for Physicians Immediate Care!
Service isnt so bad, but theyre having issues with providing a clean environment. There is dust everywhere, and I took a picture of dust bunnies on the floor. I spoke with someone concerning this and the response was that this is an ongoing issue that the owner of the business stating that they cant afford to pay someone to clean the clinic on a regular basis.
We are visiting from out of state and I had a little accident while camping and am so thankful for the kind staff here. Dr Jennifer was the best. She got me stitched up and on my way. Thank you!!
I can’t begin to express how wonderful my visit was, especially, in these scary times. I wasn’t feeling well. Dizzy and nauseous. I scheduled an appointment on their website. It was quick and easy. I expressed a need for a covid test just to rule it out or deal with it if I had it. I am vaccinated so I was completely panicked. I also wear my face mask religiously and do not go out too much, but still I was worried. When I arrived, I went in and the very kind receptionist asked if I was a walk in or had a scheduled appointment. I said I had an appointment. She checked her computer and said I could go wait in my car and they would call when it was my turn. I was called within 10 minutes of my scheduled time. When I was called, I was asked about my symptoms before entering. I then went in and was taken straight back to a room, by yet another kind professional. She took my vitals and did a covid test. She said the results would take about 10 minutes and then someone would be in. About 15 minutes later the PA entered, and she was also kind and professional. She said my covid test was negative and that we needed to figure out what I had going on. She did and exam and it was determined that I had an inner ear infection. She prescribed an antibiotic and an anti-dizziness medication and sent me on my way. She said to return in 3 days if I was not doing any better. The whole process was smooth and I felt very respected and cared for. The facility was clean and every single person I encountered was polite and professional.
0/5, if I could rate 0 stars. Went in for a walk-in on 8/20.Receptionist was very friendly and walked me through the check out process. Wait time was about 15 mins. Physician was super friendly and answered all my questions. Here comes the frustrations:1. I was told my lab results would get here by 8/24. Waited until 8/26 just to give them a call. Gave them a few days, just in-case.2. Was told their chart system was down, but I would receive a phone call by no later than 8/27, 5pm.3. Not one phone call so I called 8/29, to see if my lab results were in. They said the lab could not perform the test but couldnt tell me why. OSF said they would call the lab and get back to me no later than 5pm. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK.4. Today, 8/30, I called 4 times, 3 out of 4 times when I was up on hold and the phone hung up 30 secs later. On the 4th time, I told the representative that I keep getting disconnected, so please try to push me through a different way. Phone rang two times and someone picked up right away. Maybe a different line?5. The person who went over my lab results with me said, the specimen that was sent to the lab was suppose to be frozen, not refrigerated, therefore, the lab could not perform the test.6. I asked what I should do since there was a reason why I decided to come to the urgent care and not see my PCP. They gave me some tips butNo apology for a mistake THEY MADE.Didnt even ask if I wanted to come in a get re-tested or offer to setup an appointment.Im trying very hard to not get frustrated, but over the past 10 days, it just seems like they have a huge problem with communication, no follow through, a lack of empathy and no care for the patients well-being. I will not be returning.
I had a good experience the front desk receptionist was very customer friendly and pleasant the whole staff was amazing and yes I would come back.
I’m very happy with the service that I received, the medical staff was amazing. They listened to my concerns and was very attentive to what was going on. I would highly recommend to anyone who is in medical distress to visit this clinic.
We were both seen at the same time, my husband and I. They did a nasal swab right away and the provider came in with the results and therapy suggestions. We were giving directions to follow and advise on when to go to the ER. Very happy with the way we were treated.
Jennifer Speer is amazing as well, she has always been a provider that I trust and can count on. If there’s anyone I would recommend 1000x it will always be her.
Very happy with my visit. They were all really nice and helpful. Doctor actually took the time to listen to what I had to say and looked into it right away. Thank you again for helping me!
The doctors and nurses are always so caring at this location. Highly recommend going here when your primary is full and you need your child to be seen that day.
My doctor and nurse were so nice and caring. It was my first time at this location for a “walk in” . The PA, Meghan Jurgaitis, and her nurse were compassionate and empathetic. Great team!
Arrived before my scheduled time for an appointment that was made earlier in the day. People were coming in AFTER me and were asked if they had appointments, and then were told it was a 3 hour wait without an appointment. Finally left when they called patients back who arrived after me without having appointments. Almost TWO HOURS after my scheduled appointment they called me to see if I was still there because they had a room ready for me. Terrible - would not recommend.
I opted to have some testing done at this facility, and the online ad stated it was $275. When I went to pay, they charged me $290 and the receptionist got very upset that I didn’t want to pay the extra $15 and stormed off. She has a terrible attitude. Evidently something is bothering her, and I’m just not going to pay $15 more because you’re angry.I am told that they will give me a $15 refund but I have yet to see it.The testing was fine, the phlebotomist did a nice job with the stick. But this receptionist has an issue, I’m not happy with the way she treated me.
Alyssa Kuyper that took my daughters VS and preformed the beginning of her physical she was absolutely outstanding she went above and beyond with the care she provided. I could never thank her enough for all her attention to detail. Thank you Alyssa youre the best!! Definitely the heart beat of PIC!!
First time at this facility. Needed a quick appointment for a sinus infection. Was able to get the appointment at 8 am on a Sunday. Try that at your doctors office! Was seen by staff in under 15 minutes, diagnosed, and supplied with the necessary antibiotics right at the facility. Could only be made easier if they came to my house. Everyone was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Very cost effective. Ill be back next time I need quick care.
I was checked in at 724pm filled out forms for my appointment and was told a bit after 740 I couldn’t be seen due to the time. I was the only other patient waiting in the lobby. It was frustrating. If you stop accepting patients at a certain time I feel the hours of operation should reflect that.
We had the BEST experience at the Alpine physicians Immediate care. Such a friendly and caring staff. The P.A. Gregg listened patiently to my 77 yr old mother and explained everything so well. We loved him! The medical assistant(sorry I didnt ask her name) was excellent as well. I would recommend this urgent care to everyone. It definitely saved us a trip to the hospital.
UPDATE>>>>>>I’ve been back for my follow up to the chest pain (weeks ago) and the PA I saw was very informative and compassionate. He was Great! The last PA I just saw yesterday for a sore throat and nasal passage discomfort that is most likely due to allergies was also very informative, knowledgeable and compassionate. He was also Great! So I’m increasing my rating of this urgent care facility. I will definitely not hesitate to come here if I’m sick and when I’m in the area. This facility has some Great PA’s and a Professional Staff. 👍🏼 Thank You.I gave this Urgent Care 2 stars only because the front desk staff was very professional and fast at calling me into a room. However, the PA I met walked in introduced herself and quickly made me feel like I was trying to get a workman’s comp claim from my employer since my sharp chest pain began while I was at work. It wasn’t my decision to go to this place I had to. The PA didn’t know why I felt numbness in my left arm nor could she tell me why when I move certain ways I still felt the sharp pain over my left breast. To me this PA lacks compassion, passion, experience and not thorough enough for me. I was very upset thinking the worst with my symptoms before I walked in there. I prefer a Medical Doctor with experience and one who truly has the passion for their job and their patients.Urgent care is a good choice for other symptoms BUT not anything to do with chest pain leave that to the experts like an ER Doctor who can quickly call a Cardiologist to take a look if needed.I will never return to this clinic after my f/up. Thank God. Hallelujah!P.S. I worked with some of the Best Doctors (OB/Gyn) years ago in DuPage county and let me tell you something they never made a patient feel as though they weren’t important enough or walked in the room and shortly uttered the words NOT workman’s comp but than again what would I expect from an unprofessional PA in an urgent care clinic? That’s why I don’t go to these types of clinics unless it is a last resort due to location and time. If you have Private Insurance that you work hard for go see a real Doctor.
I went in the alpine/Sandyhollow immediate care and the doctor and her assistant were very kind and considerate. The doctor made me feel like she really cared. She spoke to me in a way that gave me great comfort.I came home and said something to my wife about her and my wife knew who she was because my wife and son had the same experience. My wife had hoped she was taking patience but sadly enough she isn’t. I am not much for doctors but this one is different. Thank you
In my opinion the billing department is a complete mess. Ive been dealing with them for over 2 years on an item they incorrectly coded. The staff told me not to pay the item and that they would have it coded correctly and taken care of (COVID test - I had 2 other ones within a 4 week period that were completely covered because they were coded correctly). Instead of doing THEIR JOB, they sent me to collections. Avoid at all costs to avoid a 2-3 year long billing nightmare that ends in collections. Again, in my opinion, if they cant even get a simple code correct, makes me wonder what else is overlooked on a medical front. Just saying.
I especially liked the changes: waiting in car rather than waiting room; Speedy pre-arrival online check in and reserving appointment times. Great doctor. Medical issues were quickly taken care of and prescriptions were quickly sent to pharmacy.
The wait time was a little long that’s the only reason I’m giving four stars. Mark Vananrooy PA was awesome an gave me really great information and feed back
Overall my experience at this location has been ok which is why I gave it 3 stars.. Back in January I wasnt properly diagnosed for uti and ended up at the ER. HOWEVER, MY MOST RECENT VISIT IS THE REASON FOR THIS REVIEW. During MY RECENT VISIT I WAS ONLY REQUIRED TO PAY $25 COPAY THROUGH MY INSURANCE. REVENIA AT THE FRONT DESK CHARGED MY CARD FOR $250 INSTEAD. She stated I had a balance of about $160 and asked if I wanted to make a payment on it. I told all I was only prepared to pay was what was required through my insurance. She verified all I had to pay was $25 copay(which I had already verified with my insurance before I came and this same amount was told to me by the other lady sitting at the first desk whom I did the paperwork with)and REVENIA stated and confirmed that amount again before taking my debit card and overcharging me. She then asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes. She printed it out and gave it to me. I looked at the receipt when I got back to my seat and noticed the $250 charge. I went back up to the front desk and let her know about the overcharge. She showed no surprise nor remorse and was not apologetic at all. All she said was she would send an email to reimbursement(which was closed because it was a Saturday) and that it was ok, like it was no big deal! That could have been my last dollars or grocery money! And reimbursements take days to complete! So, I was furious and stated I felt like she did it on purpose and she became more rude and nasty bringing up the balance I owed. I replied what does my balance have to do with you charging my card for an unauthorized amount and that we already discussed my balance and why is she bringing it up. She did end up sending an email to reimbursement and gave me a copy but the damage was already done and again she was not apologetic. After leaving I called in and made a complaint and was told I would receive a call back from her supervisor. Its been over a week and I still have not heard anything. This is really unacceptable and its not ok to be treated like that at an urgent care. After 2 years, I will not be going back to this location anymore. 😠🤨☹👎👎👎
The staff was great. Prompt service. Appreciated the promptness very much. I was surprised at the lack of disabled accessibility. It was difficult to get into and out of the building with a wheelchair. My 97yr old mom needed medical attention. She uses a travel wheelchair which is much smaller than a permanent wheelchair. There were no automated door options for wheelchairs. In maneuvering to get out, I bruised my moms arm because I lost my one hand grip of the door while trying to push the wheelchair with the other hand, the door slammed my moms arm because it shut hard and quick.
My family has always had great experiences at PIC on South Alpine. The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs and the service is always prompt. The pandemic has made it difficult to access medical resources in a timely manner, but PIC has worked us in relatively quickly even as walk-in patients.
Good luck getting anything done at this location. Employees aren’t knowledgeable with their position and can’t answer questions asked. They lack professionalism based off of their rude responses to patients. An appointment was set, and going on an hour and a half waiting …. As new people walking in are getting seen before said appointment. Don’t waste your time here, almost like a high school still learning .
Everyone was very helpful and courteous. It was my first time to the facility and when I first entered I did not have a good first impression. It was much older inside than it looked outside. It just seems a little run down. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the great staff!
Absolutely Awesome and thorough.Fair & honest.Very nice, courteous, kind, Great bedside manners, and personable. Actually listen to the patients and show genuine concern for patients, Not like their just a number.Id go back here anytime to take a DOT Physical Examination.
We took our daughter in yesterday. She had fluid coming out of her ear and was in extreme pain. The doctor said she ruptured her ear drum and that we should give her Claritin, Benadryl and Tylenol. I took her to a different facility today where she was properly diagnosed with an ear infection. We will not be using Physicians Immediate Care going forward. Its a waste of our time and money.
I was able to make an appointment for a rapid Covid test without any problems. The facility is very clean, staff is very pleasant and professional. The system they use to check in is very easy and efficient. Results came back in about 10 minutes.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed. In this horrible era of a world wide pandemic, your facilities choose to charge $240. for a COVID test. I am insured, but apparently you do not accept that insurance. I can understand this policy for other services, but not for pandemic issues.Your staff was very professional and courteous. The building was clean and orderly.
Fast service and good doctor. The negative is everyone has to wear a mask which should be optional. They hv filter air and blue lights so why all the mask? It is time to move on. The patient didn’t comment so this is his wife’s opinion.
I went to the Immediate Care on south alpine and sandyhollow on Monday and I was not impressed with the male Dr. whose name is Mark. His patient manner really sucked. He came in the room with a monotone voice like he was drunk. I asked what the problem was and I felt sick to my stomach because he just looked like he was not enthusiastic about the care if patients. I felt discriminated against because it seemed like he had better things to do.I am not impressed by his care which was nothing.I asked for another dr. and even the 2nd Dr. was not very enthused about my care. I know and heard the Drs. talking about me outside the room.Care was pathetic.I want to know how to file a formal complaint against this Dr. and he needs to brush up on his Dr. skills..Christine Rapp
The physician was great with my son, personable, made my son laugh. I think his name was Dr. Buzzard? Anyway, I love using physicians immediate care because you can check in online instead of sitting in the waiting room for hours at other places. Weve been there a few times and have been in and out at a very reasonable time, faster than anticipated. Cost is very reasonable. Very convenient all around.
I was told to wait in my car for a phone call for info. That took an hour and I had to go in and remind them I was still waiting with on my 3 patients in the building. I was told by the receptionist that my symptoms were probably due to COVID. I continued to wait. 1 hour and 30 minutes later I was called back. Doctor asked me how I was and said yeah it’s due to you having had Covid. I asked for X ray due to me not being able to breath and bad chest and back pain. She told me I just have to work through it. I end up in the ER an hour later needing a blood infusion, steroids And a breathing treatment. Thanks for nothing!!
I had the flu & covid nasal tests done. She was as gentle as she could be. The results were quick, Rx given. NP Sara explained all I needed. Great staff.
I had a great experience today at the S. Alpine location. I went for a DOT recertification and everyone was so accommodating and polite. The PA-C, Emily, was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this location to anyone that needs prompt and compassionate care.
It was so clean, and for a Saturday I was lucky and wasnt busy at all. Only waited maybe 10mins in the reception area, and between the doctor and nurses, the wait between them switching was less than a min each time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Going back again in a week for follow up and im looking forward to it :)
No problems making the appointment. Telephone staff and the young lady who took VS were very professional and pleasant. Not so impressed with the doctor who treated me to a 10minute phone call where he was angry with his (presumably adolescent) daughters misdeeds and subsequent punishment through the wall while he spoke to her on the phone. I neither need to know this information nor do I need to wait to see the doctor for an extra 10 minutes because of it. Then he hands me a piece of paper and says Im ok without any residual hint of an exam but I guarantee the charge to my insurance says test and exam. He didnt even reach for his stethoscope until I expressed concerns due to a previously identified history of asthma. I was very underwhelmed with his perception of healthcare. Everyone else was wonderful.
Overall my experience was good. But I was shocked that the receptionist for a medical clinic was not correctly wearing her face mask. Obviously, in the course of wearing a mask, it may from time to time slip down off the nose, but she was intentionally wearing it below her nose, as I saw her remove and replace it that way numerous times while I was there. Definitely not a good.example for the visiting public.
I didnt wait to long to get in and the staff was very friendly in person. I feel like I didnt get fully treated from the nurse practitioner however she was very friendly also. I was missing some papers so I called them the next day. The front desk was always friendly however the staff in back seem to have an attitude problem on the phone. I called them three times because they kept forgetting about me. I eventually went somewhere else to get treated.
So everything was very timely. MA came in and took vitals and covid swabbed me. She ensured me that dr would be in with results in about 15-20 mins. She was pretty spot on. NP or PA came in and delivered the news that covid test was negative!! Thats great right but you know she never looked at sinus issues never even once touched me. Just told me to take otc meds and go home. Ok great but I came for you to check and make sure that a sinus infection is what I was dealing with. So I guess the deal is I find my insurance is going to pay you for just doing a COVID test! I could have just done one at home!
S.Alpine office is great! From front staff to nurses and Doctors. This Dr. I had literally knew what was going on with me! Others Ive had never even read the chart first! Wont go to the others again.
Heather was very sweet. She had a wonderful smile and great professionalism. Would definitely revisit this office!
My 15 year old was having minor asthmatic issues. I contacted his pulmonologist who wanted to get him in to measure his pulmonary function levels and order him some medicine. The pulmonologist requested a rapid test to make sure covid was not an issue. I called several PIC locations to find out if he could be seen as a walk in for the test. Was told on the phone to take him to the S Alpine location which is the farthest location from my home, as they only had a 10 minute wait. After getting there, we had to wait in the car while they registered him. Then I get a call from the receptionist who claims she had to check with accounting before getting us in to take the test (for an hour?). Apparently there was a balance on his account from well over a year ago (which I was unaware of and never contacted about) and staff said had to be paid in full before they could see him. Ive had my card on file with them for years! Im not sure why my card was not charged for that remaining balance. I sign papers each time a member of my family needs to be seen so that staff can charge my account. Furthermore, Im not sure why I was not contacted about the remaining balance as my number and address are on file and correct! I immediately paid the balance over the phone with the rude employee who works in billing and took my son to another clinic to be tested. Ive been a dedicated customer of PIC for years and it saddens me that they have become so obsessed with money that they no longer value the care of their patients. My family and I will NOT be back! Thank you for showing concern for my son!
I would love to say thank you,to the nurse who squeezed me in as a walk-In . I was treated with the most respect thank you and please keep up the great work!
Only negative would be the registration process. I was there 4 times for a work injury, all 4 times I had to take pictures of front and back of drivers license and insurance cards, the align them in a window. If this information cannot be saved in the computer and used multiple times, then I don’t know.... I went to another immediate care facility in town on a different issue, one that was affiliated with my family doctor and all I had to give was my name and birth date. They had all my other info on their COMPUTER.Otherwise they have wonderful staff, took great care of my injury.
Both my boyfriend and I went in for a Covid test. Justine was our main person we spoke to and she was extremely kind and patient. She was the one who did our vitals and swabs. Not my favorite visit (due to the nature of the visit) but I felt very comfortable and am thankful to those who were there today.
Came in as a walk in. My 7 year old son literally just injured his shoulder. It was about 45 min till closing. Front receptionist had an attitude, walked to the back then came back to the front and told us the xray machine did not work. Receptionist states they’re other clinic on E state street only had one patient. Drove to the other clinic and they had multiple patients. Receptionist stated whoever told us they only had one patient was not correct and we couldn’t be seen since patient wait time would go past closing. Makes it feel like the staff at this Alpine location lied about the x-ray machine so they don’t have to deal with our case around this time. We were able to get seen by a NON physicians immediate care urgent care, conclusion is that my son did have a fracture.
The website was easy to use to schedule an appointment and provide information needed for check in. Everyone was very professional and concerned about the reason for my visit. I received test results and recommendations in a timely manner. I had a wonderful experience during a concerning time.
Ecxept the african american lady on the front dask everything else was perfect. I walked in on 10/1/22 to remove the stitches on my hand and she said i need to wear a mask which i understand. But i got surprised cuz week before i was inside without mask and nobody asked me to wear one. So i asked her i said last week i was here nobody asked for mask and her respond was if i dont want to wear a mask i can wait outside which i never said i dont want to wear a mask i only said i was here last week and nobody asked me for mask. She was rude and her communication skills a zero. She need to get trained for communication skills. She was talking to me like im getting booked in jail. Shame on her.
I was able to schedule an appointment with urgent care 2 hours prior to going in. I didn’t wait long, maybe 10 mins tops. My entire visit from when I walked in the door to when I walked out was 45 mins. Everyone was upbeat and friendly, they made the visit enjoyable. The facility was clean and it wasn’t crowded. I would highly recommend this location for urgent appointments.
Waited for 1 hour 20 minutes in addition to the 15 extra minutes I was required to come early, with a temperature of 103, in my car, in 19 degree weather, wasted a quarter tank of gas to be told they had a trauma! Im not calling anyone a liar... but yes I am. Someone (there was no one) that severe should probably go to the ER. I just wanted a covid test.
Unfortunately, they were short one physician so my wait was very long but the service is fantastic and all the people are do congenial, friendly, and helpful. The doctor was excellent!
This was my first time going to Physicians Immediate Care.It was a very good experience.Dr. Vananrooy listen to me explain my Medical condition with great empathy and compassion then gave me his expert recommendation.Thats all I could ask for.Thank you
The wait was over an hour to be seen which is unacceptable and unprofessional. The front desk staff seemed lost while the rest of the staff were professional and friendly. The vending machine was empty, the room smelled like burned cannabis, and I was never told to “check in” on my phone when I arrived which unnecessarily prolonged my visit. I will not choose to return here in the future unless I have no choice or I’m sent by my employer.
Wouldn’t even give this place one star. I arrived an 1hr early considering it’s an immediate care thinking’s I could get my appointment done early and was told I’d still have to wait. Ok so now I’m here at my scheduled time and I’ve been waiting almost 30mins to be seen.
My experience at Physicians Immediate Care was excellent. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant and professional. The PA who treated me was awesome and his treatment and recommendations were very helpful. I recommend scheduling appointments online because they are very busy.
Unfortunately I was back in again for rapid Covid-19 test due to being sick with possible symptoms. I went online and got a time scheduled and also registered online which really speeds things up. I was treated well even though they could not help me with medicine as the condition was some kind of virus. Still in and out within an hour which is nice when your not feeling well.
Not a good experience. Would not recommend them. The doctor left the building before I was done and left the nurses to give me my paperwork but there was a mistake and they couldn’t have her fix it because she was gone. Had to call my own doctor the next to to take care of it which delayed treatment.
My husband and I Covid tested here. We were very impressed with the care we received and our results were back within 15 mins. Same day appointments which were very easy to schedule online. All the staff are caring, professional and friendly. Thankyou. Highly recommend.
I was pleased with the care and service I recieved at this walkin clinic. The Dr.that I saw was thorough and caring .She listened to what I had to say and made sure all my concerns were looked at and given the necessary testing. I felt like I was valued by the staff and that they were there to help. Thankyou for your professionalism.
This place took 2 hours for a simple urine test, not to mention there was nobody else there! Then it took them another week to submit my results to my employer.. If you can go somewhere else, please go!
Everyone we interacted with was nice and professional. My daughter was scared when we first arrived, and they eased her mind. She left with two casts and a smile on her face!
Initial service was great. The PA & the nurse were wonderful. They sent a follow up text & said I could call with any questions. When I called refused to connect me with Anyone medical, said the clinic was open & I could come in (& likely wait for hours) if I needed to see someone.
Honestly this place is a joke get pulled in for a random test no problem have a appointment for 1:30 pm don’t get in till 3pm lady’s behind desk are playing on their phones laughing have good old time why blue collar people sit here and wait then literally kid bleeding in this packed lobby there like well has fill out this paper work first seriously I’m just overwhelmed with the service here I’ll got to a vet first next time
Hello everyone, all employees were very nice, warm, concerned. But considering my diagnosis they were immensely slacking and lacking in being expeditious in explaining what I should do and how. First appointment at immediate care on the 14th of October and didn’t schedule MRI till the 21st of October. My bicep muscle is torn from ligament and requires surgery within 3 weeks in order to be effective. And never sent ortho referral, had to do that myself. It for now
I went there for a pre-employment drug screen. Everyone was so nice. The lady that took me back was hilarious. She made everything alot better. (Not that I was worried). I am unsure of her name but she was great. Hats off to the front desk. They took my information in a very timely manner.I was in and out in less that20min.
Absolutely terrible. Explained to the doctor and nurse that I had a terrible fall and hit the cement, and that I could not bend my arm all the way, and my leg is in a lot of pain hence a hobbled in which they both saw. They gave me an ice pack and ibuprofen. Few hours later went to the ER and I was diagnosed with a broken elbow, a concussion, whiplash, bruised ligament.Went back to immediate care the next day they see me with a cast and have no words.Terrible facility for medical help
This place is amazing! I was treated with an uplifting energy from the front desk clerks. The registrations was quick and easy and the time placement didn’t take long. This facility is extremely clean and a great place too go get seen.
We’ve never used Physicians immediate care and it was not what I expected. My son and his dad needed a COVID test. I was able to set up an appt online as they were the only ones available Sunday but when they actually went they were going to be charged over 200 per person because they didn’t accept their insurance. Yeah no way. Everywhere else covid tests are free. They go today to the doctor instead
I went in with an appointment and was seen on time with little delays, with ankle pain, I thought it was just a sprained ankle but quickly found out it was not, but possibly a torn Achilles Tendon exray mri the dr was extremely professional and explained everything to be understood and took the time to make sure I understood. In an urgent situation I definitely recommend this clinic for quick care
I went in fast I fill paper out they call me to the back
Always go here for my immediate care because cant get into my primary doctor. Staff nice and usually refer me to who I need if they cant complete care on their end. I have gone there at least 2 times before and got the care I needed by sending me where I needed to be weather it was the hospital or orthopedics. I like going here.
The physician I saw, Meaghan Reed, I would like to know that the clear severity of the condition I was in when I arrived a couple days ago that when I informed the initial nurse of my first visit a month ago was with Meaghan Reed and was told she was there at this most recent visit, despite the horrendous amount of pain I was in, knowing I was going to see her again was a sigh of relief. When she walked into the room, to me she was an angel. A legitimate beacon of light. Even though I knew right away she was going to give me the help I desperately needed, the fact that the first words out of her mouth were, Ive been thinking about you, was relief by itself, because I hadnt forgotten about her being the first person I saw at the beginning of my injury over a month ago. Shes an incredible person and qualities that are so rare which makes her in all honesty the best doctor/physician Ive ever met. I only wish I could have her as my primary because I would without question. I sincerely hope this message in its entirety gets relayed to her and she knows she has my utmost appreciation and gratitude.
The provider was great as always! Ive had to come in a couple times and she has helped me each time. She is wonderful and really is a very nice and helpful Dr!The staff was good as usual as well. I would highly recommend this clinic!
I brought my son in because he was wheezing and wasn’t breathing normally. I was told to take him home and give him saline spray in the nose, it just needed to run its course. All later that day we ended up in the ER with 3 breathing treatments, oral steroids, a chest X-ray, and a nasal swab which told us that he in fact had 3 different viruses. Not happy with the lack of care my son received.
