Kindbody has been amazing. I did IVF with them and got pregnant the first transfer and this was important to me considering we did not have that much money to be dishing out! They did a great job working with my insurance and making sure I was taken care of anytime I had a question! Dr. Rhee, Laura my nurse practitioner, the ultrasound tech Jo Ellen, and my nurses made this process so much easier when it could have been really hard on me. Anytime I was scared something was wrong all of them were there to help reassure me that everything was fine and after I was pregnant that the baby was okay! I am forever grateful for this clinic giving us our miracle baby!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with Kind Body. I went in for a simple pulse check-up and was told I would have a follow-up phone call. The call was scheduled for a workday, so I adjusted my schedule around it, but it never came. When I called the office, I was told that I didn’t need the phone call and could look up my results on the portal. This lack of communication was my first sign of their disorganization.I explained that I wanted to do genetic testing, so they scheduled me for more labs. However, two days before the appointment, they called and told me I couldn’t have my lab appointment because I still needed to complete the follow-up phone call from the pulse check. This contradiction was incredibly frustrating. It seems their left hand doesn’t know what their right hand is doing. The whole process felt like a game of ping-pong, with me being bounced around without any clear direction. To make matters worse, I have friends who have also struggled with Kind Bodys disorganization, leading to delays in their IVF treatment. These delays are not just inconvenient; they can be emotionally and physically taxing for people who are already going through a challenging process. Their experiences further solidified my view that this clinic is not reliable.I understand that certain processes must be followed, but the way Kind Body handles its operations is grossly unprofessional. It’s alarming that a medical facility dealing with such sensitive and critical matters can be so careless. My nail salon has it together more than they do, which says a lot about their lack of efficiency and professionalism. If you have another local option, I strongly suggest you choose that instead. The stress and frustration caused by Kind Bodys disorganization are not worth it. Your time and well-being are too valuable to be mishandled by such an unreliable clinic.
The Doctors and clinic staff have been great, however we can not recommend this business due to their corporate structure and billing department. They have not filed one single claim to our insurance despite us having coverage for fertility treatments. They want us to pay tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for treatments that are covered by our insurance. We have called numerous times over several months and have been told it would be “escalated”. Not once has anyone actually followed through on that, and now we are being denied the ability to transfer because they can’t get their financial issues sorted out. We feel like their deceitful billing department is holding our embryos hostage at this point. Worst possible business, taking advantage of people during what is already a very stressful situation.
Had an initial tele-consult which seemed fine. Looking back now, they did come across as pretty pushy and almost too salesy on the front end, but I just read that as attentive and over communicative. Staff was friendly. The big red flag for me though was on follow up communication. Had a call about some follow up procedure scheduling one afternoon. We reached a resolution about next steps. The very next morning I received a phone call from the same person and was perplexed why they were calling, they left a voicemail, and they were asking me the exact same questions I had discussed with the same person within the past 24 hours. I had not googled them before because they were recommended by my doctor and I trusted their referral. After my red flag experience, I decided to read more about the provider…and WOW. Bad communication and overall disorganization seem to be typical for this provider. I don’t plan to go back to work with them on something so sensitive. Grateful to those before me who left honest reviews so I didn’t end up wasting my time and experiencing frustration and heartache.
I dont know where to start. The staff are nice but it doesnt shadow the fact that they are billing me outrageous amounts of money after Ive met my deductible. I get the same answer every time I ask for someone to fix the charges on my account. The claims on my insurance portal doesnt even show the services theyre billing me for. I feel like this clinic is trying to avoid confronting me about billing while they keep adding unfounded charges to my account. I get told they will message someone and never hear anything over and over again. The service number for billing gets me no where either. I wish I wouldve known I would have this bad of an experience ahead of time because I would have gone elsewhere. Its too late for that because were too far in the process to switch clinics honestly. IVF is such a hard process and it feels like theyre taking advantage of how emotional and vulnerable their patients are to get them to pay whatever they want. That is how I feel at least.
I never made it to even getting started. I signed up online to schedule an appointment to start IUI after getting great results back from my obgyn (42yo) and was asked to enter my payment card information on a page stating payment due at time of appointment and the appointment was a video call only. The website told me nothing about how much my card would be charged ($25?, $300?), if my card information would be stored on their servers and used without consent later, how long my appointment would be (5 minutes? 30 minutes?) or WHO my paid appointment would be with or if Id even get to discuss MY interest during the appointment. I could be paying for someone to get on the call and just introduce themselves then say sure come into the office and charge me again for all I know. NEVER seen business done this way. You cant move forward unless they get your card info so I logged out immediately. so extremely disappointed.
My husband and I initially found this clinic to get some baseline testing for unexplained infertility. During our initial consult we were trying to get estimates on the testing that would be done, they refused to give us their exact pricing because they send out to other places. We were able to get a basic estimate for in-office procedures (but even then they added on during the appointment and we now have a surprise $500 added to our account). The first bill we got in the mail DID NOT have this added $500 on it, that was seen when we went online to pay our bill. They did not attach my husbands insurance information to his bloodwork so we got a bill from that company for over $1000 (Kindbody was unable to give us any estimate on the bloodwork due to it being sent out, so that was a very big surprise) Billing has been impossible to get a hold of, as we were trying to find where that additional cost came from. After two months, my records are now uploaded online to our portal account. The staff at the clinic was very nice, we just would not recommend this clinic to anyone after all the surprise charges and slow/no response when trying to resolve this.
The KINDDOULA Emily Likins was exceptional. She really listens to our concerns and offers thoughtful and focused advice on a range of topics, from breastfeeding to birthing concerns and everything in between. My spouse and I have really enjoyed our conversations so far, and learned a lot. Emily offers a diverse perspective, and we really appreciate her insights, thoughtfulness, warmth, and overall professional approach. Thank you.
Dr Purdy, Laura, Brittany, Joellen, Megan, and Heather. Are wonderful people and made me feel so at home and comfortable!! I feel comfortable and confident talking to them about any issue and know they would listen and help come up with a solution
Its incredibly unacceptable that literally no one will answer a phone when you call any of the numbers. I have tried for two days now to call and book a new patient consult to no avail. The only option for online booking is a virtual consult, which I am not interested in. Seeking help with infertility is emotionally challenging enough, and this first step should be the easiest. I have read so many reviews that talk about how bad the communication is. Guys...hire someone to answer the phone. Its not that hard.
If you are able to go to this clinic, I highly recommend you do. The facility itself is beautiful. Dr. Purdy is thorough and incredibly understanding. Every staff member Ive encountered has been kind and reassuring. I was hesitant to go to a chain, but I did not regret it one bit.Updating my review to reiterate what Ive already said; I recommend Kindbody to anyone who needs their services. From the front desk to the treatment room, I have received exceptional care and guidance. My out of pocket costs were always very clearly laid out and there were never any surprises with treatment or cost. I will genuinely miss visiting Kindbody. Thank you so much for everything.
We have tried over and over again to get our refund processed. After consultation we decided not to proceed and returned everything unopened and cancelled within one day of paying. They said there wouldn’t be issues but it’s been 6 weeks and no refund.Update: They still haven’t responded to multiple emails and phone calls. We’re now at 10 weeks since we returned everything. Again, unopened and within one day of signing up for treatment.
First of all, I want to give a huge shout out to the Rogers Arkansas team. I don’t think I can say enough good about this clinic I wasn’t getting answered before and now I have them. They are extremely knowledgeable and very polite. I always receive a message back when I email my nurse Brittany I absolutely love this clinic.
I had such high hopes.....I dont know how there are good reviews for Kindbody (Arkansas). My experience, and what Ive heard from others, has been terrible when it comes to their communication. We couldnt move forward with treatment because of the lack of communication. This is so frustrating when someone is already working through a very emotional and difficult time trying to grow their family or find answers. To add this on top of that is unacceptable and I hope this review encourages others to find a better place for treatment, support and quick answers. I hope it saves someone from the additional hurt that weve experienced.
Very attentive on the first visit. All communication with them after the initial visit was horrible. No questions will be answered in full. No questions will be answered in a timely manner. They practically refuse to give you any estimate of what services will cost, even when provided with your insurance information. But they do expect that you commit to paying whatever they charge you. The minute you ask for more communication on pricing they will go silent. They have not returned a single one of my phone calls. Their online portal takes weeks to months to get a response. I honestly believe they are intentionally vague about the costs of their procedures, so they can prey on your vulnerability during the emotional trials of infertility. We would have loved to use them, it could be such a great resource for NWA, but after how terribly they have handled all aspects of communication, I could never trust them with something as sensitive as our infertility.
Had my first appointment and felt like I was listened to by the doctor and her care coordinator. Immediately went into my health and came up with a plan that we both felt good about! Didn’t waste time and was straight to the point but thorough. Very professional and they were on the ball about making sure they got everything they needed from my medical records at other clinics.
We had a wonderful IVF journey with KindBody AR this past summer, and we are so grateful to have graduated. Our rainbow baby is due in April! The clinic itself is very serene and feels more like a spa than a fertility clinic. The medical care we received was truly top notch, and all of the physicians, nurses, embryologists, and staff we worked with were so kind and attentive. We loved our sonographer so much we wished we could take her with us! Egg retrieval and transfer day were both super smooth and relaxed, and monitoring appointments were quick and seamless. We traveled out of state for treatment and our experience was worth every mile.
Ive struggled with my weight my whole life. I lost 160 pounds and still was not getting help from my OBGYN or a different fertility clinic. After almost 6 years, I was immediately helped here! Every scan and blood draw Ive had, they make sure Im comfortable. They also do an amazing job at trying to work around my schedule as well. Im on my 4th medicated cycle, and I couldnt ask for a better experience! The website has clear instructions and allows for easy communication. Everyone in the clinic is very kind. The clinic itself is decorated super cute, and feels empowering. Highly recommend!!
No one ever answers the phones or calls back. Their portal is touch and go. Communication is very lacking when it comes to changing appointments. As in, they’ll change your appointment and minimally notify you. If I had any other option I would go somewhere else.Editing a year later: They are still harassing me for charges I paid. Requesting bank statements as proof. Their lack of record keeping abilities are not my fault. Their customer service is non-existent. 150% would NOT recommend going here.
The ladies at the clinic were so nice and personable. The communication was great and they made sure to follow up with me when I had questions. They figured out the best path for me and I was able to graduate from the clinic. I can’t wait to visit with my rainbow baby when I have them.
Ive never had a medical appointment that has been so comfortable and put me at ease. I was immediately, and multiple times, told you advocate for us to use our voices. Every procedure is explained before and during. I know exactly what is being done and why. Ive never felt judged or made to feel bad about my body. I absolutely love it here. All medical facilities and practices should be this way.
Currently a patient at Kindbody and have been for awhile now. While everyone is nice and appts are fast and efficient the level of communication is ridiculous. I have to ask several questions after appts in the portal to get answers and either get very short answers or none at all. There is very little information passed down. I have had to get scripts last minute with little direction and usually I am the one reaching out to them rather than them reaching out to me. It doesn’t feel like very personalized care. Infertility is already a very stressful and draining experience that the patient should not have deal with figuring things out on their own, getting messages/scripts last min, and overall lack of concern for them or their needs.Editing my review to say that after posting review things got better and one of the main problems I had with communication had been handled. Change in staff has greatly improved communication issue. Also, just want to say the care I have received from Dr. has been amazing. I felt compassion from most of the staff and the doctor. The most important part is I have never felt lack of care or concern from doctor.
Communication is a challenge with Kindbody and needs improvement. To schedule my initial appointment I had to talk to 3 different people who were not sure if Kindbody treated for my issue and there was still confusion after my appointment was scheduled. Once my appointment was scheduled, it was tele-visit and the doctor answered a call mid-appointment to speak with someone else. Despite me saying several times before scheduling, in my portal updates, and notes to the doctor that I am not seeking treatment for a fertility issue, I have been asked about fertility in every conversation I have had with Kindbody, had an insurance coordinator contact me 3 separate times (after my appointment) about needing to set up insurance services specific for fertility benefits, and even had a patient coordinator ask if I was given bad news about being pregnant in closing to my initial appointment, which was particularly irksome given that she sat in my entire appointment and was supposed to be taking notes. While the doctor was nice during our 10 minute visit, I have not felt heard, given good instruction, or comprehensive care and will seek a different treatment option if the care provided and listening does not improve. If seeing Kindbody, be prepared to put in some work to communicate effectively and know you need to advocate for yourself. Id also consider other available options if fertility is not your specific or only issue.
Kindbody was literally a lifesaver. After 3 miscarriages, I was referred to Kindbody. They were gentle, kind, and understanding of my situation. They addressed the issues I was having and were not just taking shots in the dark. They were able to find I had a blood clotting issue, that no one else ever found or assumed was causing the miscarriages. I am now into a healthy pregnancy and I attribute that to the care I received at Kindbody. Dr. Purdy is wonderful, highly recommend her and the practice as a whole.
Dr. and medical staff were nice, but communication lacks big time. Billing was a terrible experience considering they are in a different state. It was a huge headache and I was tired of hearing “insurance is still pending” for two months. Turns out they never sent out the pre-authorization request. Once they did, it took insurance only a week to approve. Please save your time, money and try going to Tulsa instead. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I felt the need to let other couples know. Do not go here.
Kindbody has been nothing what their name says…kind. Everyone from the receptionist to the physicians have been thorough and excel at their jobs. They made my spouse and I very reassured throughout the whole process.
My wife and I are currently patients and we just wanted to drop this review as we are in the middle of treatment yet we do not feel that we are a priority or are receiving the level of customer service that we had hopped to get. There are kind and nice people there but they have consistently dropped the ball when it has come to properly informing us of billing, approvals, appts, medications. My wife has had to be a middle man between the staff in the office, Kindbody Corporate, and the third party pharmacy that they insist we have to use. My wife spent hours trying to get all three aligned on the fact that she is approved for a critical medicine required for our fertility plan. We ended up just paying out of pocket to get the medication in time. Overall a zero on the customer service so far. They have horrible processes for billing and are not very transparent on billing. I can not offer my recommendation to my friends. Infertility is a very stressful situation and we had high hopes that using them over an OB would provide a greater level of individual care and so far it has not been the case. :(
Absolutely terrible communication. I told them my situation day 1, and they literally never remembered - each time I spoke with them, I would have to repeat myself, they would say they’re going to research and follow up, and would just never do anything. They canceled appointments routinely, and even were no-shows to two follow ups. When they call last minute to cancel an appointment, there was no apology, just a very aggressive “What day of your cycle are you on this date??”.When I went into the clinic for routine testing, the staff was rude, uneducated, and awkward (and once again, seemed to have no notes on my case because they said the dumbest routine stuff that didn’t apply to my situation). After wasting 4 precious months, I finally found CCRM in Texas and will never go to a Kindbody again. Do not go here if you want things to actually happen and the process to be smooth. It looks nice from the outside, but is a complete mess.
EDIT as of 11/2/2023: My nurse Megan is so great and I can tell the clinic has really stepped up in terms of efficient communication, etc!Previous Review: Appointments are quick and efficient but I have received no follow up post consultation. The lack of proper communication here is shocking, especially for a fertility clinic. With IVF/IUI/ETC, timing is everything. Ive had to send multiple messages in the portal (because there is NO other way to contact them - they dont answer phones) just to schedule my next steps. Due to this, I will likely be choosing another clinic for my care. They sure are quick to call on the day of appt. though to authorize your copay payment. Maybe if they put as much effort into patient comms that they do into advertising their reviews would be a lot better.
We had a wonderful experience at Kindbody. The whole team took great care of us and made us feel valued & special. Today, we officially graduated from Kindbody after a successful first round of IVF. Although we will miss these folks, we definitely plan to go back for another round in a couple of years!
Not a great first impression. While the clinic is very nice and chic inside, I am reserved on how much this clinic can do for those just looking for a second opinion and not wanting to jump into fertility treatment.I explicitly told them I did not want to have certain bloodwork and they drew it anyways. They changed my husband’s appointment without telling him and then he got a notice he had missed his appointment even though he never confirmed he could make the new one. I was told I would be changing medication dosages over the portal but had no instruction as to why/how/ where they would call in my prescription. I was told the doctor would call discuss my bloodwork but I only received a message from a nurse about this medication change and no talk of any of the results or discussion about how I felt about it. Also I was freaked out when I got a message about needing prior authorization but never booked any procedures that even required that so I spent 2 hours talking to my insurance company for nothing. All in all I think it is great that the community has a place like this to go to but they definitely need to workout some of the hiccups still.
I wanted to send a quick note to thank the Rogers, AR team for a wonderful first visit. I feel very confident about the care I received and our plan moving forward. I had a really poor experience with another provider in Bentonville, so it was refreshing and a relief to have such a positive experience this time around. Not to mention, the facility is absolutely gorgeous!! The interior design is so appealing and I felt very comfortable. I especially enjoyed my visit with Dr. Westfall and the duos of NY/AR nurses and sonogram techs. I really felt like they care about my fertility future and spent so much time making sure I was comfortable and understand everything. I am so happy to be starting a relationship with Kindbody and look forward to my next visit!!
INSURED BEWARE! This provider is in-network for most insurances but when it comes down to billing they scam you by illegally adding additional costs (talking THOUSANDS of dollars!) that supposedly aren’t billable to insurance- that you will have to pay. This is a back door for corrupt doctors to get more money from sick patients. According to Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, Kindbody knows they aren’t supposed to do this, as it is a breech of their contract, but ultimately there isnt anything that patients can do except go elsewhere (I would recommend Arkansas Fertility and Gyno in Little Rock- anywhere but here!).This type of deep greed makes people not trust the medical community. Any doctor participating in this type of corruption should be ashamed and should have their license to practice medicine removed. Please search for your care elsewhere, from a provider that won’t scam vulnerable people trying to grow their families!
Amazing Doctors and Nurses. Had the best and easiest experience.
I love everybody there. All of them are take care of you nicely and professionally.
I had a very good experience here on our first visit. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I am looking forward to working with them through my IVF journey!
I was grateful for my really knowledgeable team of medical professionals and all the empathetic care they provided every step of the way. 10/10 recommend.
Great staff who provide great care and compassion!
Very Professional. Nice environment. Staff is very nice & keep you updated.
Everyones really nice and accommodating.
We absolutely love everyone there!!! It has been such a smooth process!
Knowledgeable team, and expert, patient, and supportive advice
