Every time I come here for illness they take care of me very well. Everyone is nice and caring. I check in online and im seen pretty quickly. Wish they could be my primary care doctor. Love that it is women owned too. Highly recommend.
This is an excellent facility with extreme professionalism. You can tell they really care about their patients and work efficiently to get you in and out. All of the staff are super friendly and go up and above to make sure you are well cared for.
This place is amazing. It’s clean and everyone from the front desk to Candace who did the in take for my husband we’re absolutely wonderful, kind and knowledgeable!Candace and APRN Laura Jennings treated us with a “family” feel. Made the right diagnosis and put my husband and I at ease!Don’t hesitate to go here, I believe the reviews that are negative are from years ago and must have been different staff, definitely doesn’t align with our treatment.Thank you to all parties involved from the front desk ( I don’t know the lady and gentleman’s names) who we first encountered, who set the stage of kindness and compassion for us!
This AFC Urgent Care has very nice and professional people. Waiting time was short, the care provider was knowledgeable with my issue and provided great care.
They helped my daughter with a fracture. Excellent care. Filled and faxed paperwork I needed for insurance. Great staff! Office manager was very helpful.
I was cared for at American Family Care located in the Seminole Center. All the staff were very kind and proffessional especially Kevin and Simone who diagnosed and treated me. I was checked in a little after 9:15 this morning. After filling out paperwork, I was called into exam room before 10 am. Thank you for your service!
I was so uncomfortable when I walked in the clinic. My ears were ringing and I couldnt hear. The staff took me right back and gave me such great care. My ear was irritated and I finally got the relief I needed. I love how friendly they are and caring. The Dr was very sympathetic and caring.
Went there 7/31/24 for something on my tailbone and butt. The nurse there insisted it was a boil on my back. She was nice yes but she never examined it well. I was given antibiotics and ointment that never help only made it worse. On 8/3/24 I couldn’t handle the pain. I couldn’t walk sit and I can barely stand. I’m at the hospital in saint pete and they told me I have a bone infection not a boil. WILL NOT be coming back to this place and I’ll be sharing my story across all platforms. It’s just a money grabber.
I have been to this clinic twice now, and both times I was very impressed with how competent and courteous the entire staff was. This clinic really sets the bar for how the other Urgent Care Clinics should be run. Felt like my last condition I came in with (complicated UTI) was listened to and handled better than at my general doctors practice. So thankful they were available on the 4th of July.As of July 10, I had to reduce my 5 star review to a 4 star review due to the fact I did not receive a call when my lab results came in, even though I was repeatedly told that I would receive a call. Why tell someone this if you are not planning on making that call.
They were the most fast, efficient, listened to me and my complaints and I was out in under 30 min from being a walk-in (No Appointment) to being seen, to having my scripts sent in to the CORRECT PHARMACY!! .. They are hands down the best urgent care experience I have had in all of my 44 years !! I had strep throat .. they wasted no time in getting my needs handled properly!! Will be back. No doubt about it!! Thank you to all the kind staff!! I appreciate your hard work!❤️Drea ORourke
This is not my first time here, but this has been the best time yet. I took my 6 year old and every single staff member was so friendly and actually listened. I’ve been to some urgent cares where you really need to advocate for your child, but I have nothing but good things to say. I’m terrible with names, but front desk was friendly, the nurse had an infectious personality/humor, and Laura APRN had amazing bedside manner. We need more of these people in healthcare
The Doctor was great! Gave a great examination, good patient care! Prescribed proper meds! Was caring & concerned! Did not have to wait long at all to get in to see her! Staff was good as well!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when we went into this clinic, but I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was efficient and helpful and the nurse practitioner who saw my husband was and thorough and I would highly recommend AFC urgent care Seminole.
Soooo Appreciate the care I got from AFC. I was walking on the beach then was punctured across the top of my foot with something. Being out of state, I was recommended to this urgent care from our hotel, Shoreline Island Resort in Madiera Beach.Megan Patterson the APRN was awesome. Very kind & professional. Explained all the instructions so well.Kevin Egan was wonderful with his care & getting the xrays I needed.Ariana Goodwin was absolutely fantastic. Her care was very compassionate, even making sure we were ok while waiting for the dr & results of xrays. She made sure to see if we needed water while waiting.Thankful for a caring professional place to help me while on vacation.
Never fails! It can be busy, but worth it.Staff is knowledgeable and caring. It’s our go to medical office. Shout out to Laura APN… always terrific!
Very quick and easy to deal with. I highly recommend going here. Jessica B that worked the front desk is absolutely incredible and a true asset to the location.!
I needed to go there two days in a row, for different things. Both times I was attended to quickly. The entire staff was courteous and helpful. Besides the fact that I needed care in the first place, it was a good experience.
The facility was nice and the staff professional.I had a script from a surgeon for the x-rays for my son. I normally I would pay $50 at an imaging center. Their price with $75 which was fine but I also had to pay a $100 for a nurse to examine me after Id already been seen and had a script from the surgeon. The exam was ridiculous. Its not medically necessary to examine someone for an xray who already has a script for an xray from a surgeon. Its just a way to rip people off. It was a waste of your clinics resources and our time. The center was out of DVDs to get a copy of the xray. I went to an office supply store to buy my own so I could get a copy of my overpriced xray.Theyre taking advantage of people on a weekend when imaging centers are not open and I think thats sleezy.Do better.
What a waste of money!! The male nurse was more professional, cooperative and helpful than the NP I saw (Simone ?) . She had no advice on how to treat my illness (stomach virus) “let it run its course”. I’ve had this for a week - so I know it’s been too long. She barely paid any attention to me to the point where I just wanted to get up and leave. I knew more about what to do than she did. Not helpful in any way whatsoever. Hopefully I can request a different physician next time.
Service was good. Their billing department is not. They didnt send an invoice before sending an email the other day threatening to take further action if we do not pay our balance. There was no invoice attached to this email. Its nearly impossible to talk to someone at the clinic and when you do they say they cant take payment and tell you to call the third party biller. The third party biller is basically a call center and it is very difficult to communicate. We were finally able to get them to send an invoice. They need to figure this out
Were visiting Florida and my wife and I both got sick. It was so convenient to use AFC Urgent Care. The check in person was personable. The nurse examined us and gave us sound advive and prescribed what we needed The nurse was thorough and easy to understand. Before we left we had a text from the pharmacy with our prescriptions. And we had no issues with our insurance. Thanks to all.
I have always had good experiences going to this clinic. Ive been there with a. Injury and illnesses. Very happy with treatment and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My family members go there as well. Convenient location and hours. Very easy to get an appt or just walk in.
Pretty disappointed with the service (or lack there of) from this facility. William Huff ARNP and staff were 100% careless in treating my son. Presented with a broken hand and left with nothing to stabilize it until were able to see an orthopedic. . The manager states that because he was seen by the provider, vitals were taken and referral was giving the $100 office visit charge is validated. But none of these things provided the palliative care my son was in need of for his hand until further treatment can be rendered. These individuals are not properly trained and seems as if William - the practitioner- is lacking training as well. He left his untrained and unprofessional staff responsible for the care of his patient. He should really evaluate the staff that is representing him and his license. They are not doing a good job! Absolute joke. Should have gone to the ER and waited, this $175 got us no where.
We had so much help with Candace. After tons of buildup in my boyfriend’s ear that other practices or Drs were unable to get out, Candace helped us get everything out and even noticed a small ear infection. Very thankful for her and her help.
Fast, friendly and Informative. I very much Enjoyed speaking with the Doctor and relating one personal matters. she literally made my day along with helping me with my ailment. My visit was very Short, but the impact will last a lifetime and Ill definitely be back if the need arises.Thank you very much for your help today.
My son had an allergic reaction and everyone here is so friendly and tended to my son quickly. They are very caring and kind and it shows they love their job. I’m very thankful for them.
Kimberly was the patient not Mike.Kevin E. Is the BEST!! EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GOOD. Intake man was very kind and helpful too. Kevin E. Is an asset to your company. He is professional, smart, kind, gentle and was very patient with me. Everything went well and everyone was beyond great. But Kevin worked with me and my strained hand and wrist and he deserves to be recognized for his great attention to detail and the patients needs. Kimberly
I went here because I had a small cold and I thought maybe an ear infection. They were very polite and took me in right away. Dr Laura took the time to talk to me and was personable.
This was the most offensive and disgraceful presentation. They gave me at the reception desk. It was so unethical and demeaning.. The two gentlemen receptionist, which were disgusting. I would never have a recommend anybody to your company. I went to another competitor and I was treated very civil professional and with a lot respect
This Location Has and always Taken the time and provide excellent Custer relations, from the Minute you walk in and make sure that all expectations are Met before you leave , highly recommend For any urgent medical attention you made need weather your a resident or vacationing.
I came in as a cash customer with my children and paid $175 per child upfront for services. My two daughters were treated as one patient and only one child was assessed firstly secondly, there was rap music, playing loudly with vulgar language. And medical representatives wearing excessively long acrylic nails. We sat there for hours as they did testing on my one daughter, and could not determine why she was sick. It was never stated to me that any testing would be additional cost, until I received a delinquent bill months later in the mail. On my previous occasions, visiting as a cash patient. If there were additional services, it was stated the cost was stated, and then it was rectified at the end of the visit. These charges were never stated, and I wasn’t directed to the payment counter to rectify it at the end of the visit either after leaving AFC Seminole. I had to schedule another appointment at “Real Doctor” for my children due to them still running fevers, and being excessively sick and dehydrated. It was determined that that one had sinus infection and had to go on antibiotics. To add insult into injury, my grievance, I filed, stated that it was found that the costs were effectively communicated. This is unethical, and could not be further than the truth. If cost would have been stated to me, I would’ve had no problem, paying my due amount at the checkout counter on our way out, as I always have at AFC. It hurts!!! Unexpected expenses, unethical billing practices. When I paid this bill today, I asked myself how many people are hurting over getting done the same way? how many people are sacrificing rent dinner car payments because someone didn’t do their job, right at AFC? Or suffer from damaged credit because they can’t afford it, then lack ability to get a car or home. The impact matters! I pay my bills. I pay what I owe. Charging people hidden fees, that haven’t been discussed or agreed to. That’s as close to being robbed as I’ve ever felt.
My daughter was seen by Simone Leotaud today. She was quick to leave the room and never returned to answer any of my questions. The CNA came in to tell us test results and discharge us. I then called her with questions and she did not return my phone call.
The staff was so friendly the nurse so kind and Dr Simone handled me with kid gloves and compassion even though I was just there for a stye. Grateful
AFC Urgent care have a very clean environment! The staff is very knowledgeable and very kind! They are welcoming! Great place to come!
They were so patient and helpful when my son needed stitches when he was very much being the opposite. Incredibly friendly staff.
Great facility. All staff very professional and kind. Clean office and exam rooms. Quick in and out for appointment!
Being on vacation from out of state I found this place to be very clean, receptionist , nurse practitioner & another gentleman all courteous. Treated me for what I went there for, sent my meds over to the pharmacy . All done in about 35-40 minutes
This place is great. I took my mom there for a cough she has had for a month the dr on call Dr.Laura Jennings was very concerned and prescribed her an antibiotic which her family dr wouldnt. She checked her heart lungs throat and ears before prescribing her the antibiotic. Hopefully this helps her.
The receptionist was amazing. From my initial call in to the actual personal visit. Professional, kind and wonderful personality! Everyone at this Centre is great!
I went in because my tongue was swollen and had sores on it. I spent 110 dollars for the dr to tell me I have to go to the ER for my blood pressure. Its our last day on vacation and I wanted something for my tongue. The dr. Came into my room a demanded I go to the ER. I know I have high blood pressure but I havent slept in 2 days are eaten in 2 days, im sure my blood pressure would be up. Instead I paid 110 to just leave. Thank you for stealing my money and not helping in anyway!
Today I visited the office of AFC Urgent Care in Seminole. I had been sick for 2months. It was wonderful to meet the doctor there. Everyone was kind and I got a clear diagnosis. If you are sick, this is the place to go to get your questions answered and prescriptions very quickly. I hope that no one gets sick but if you do get sick, visit this wonderful office with wonderful people working there.
Extremely clean and well organized facility. The waiting room was full (7 patients) on a Saturday morning. We were seen within a half hour, which is surprising for the number of people and being a weekend. The receptionist was courteous and thorough and explained our options for services. The Dr., RN, and staff were all personable and thorough with diagnostics and procedures.Im glad that we visited.
Being from out of town I was nervous about being unfamiliar with this medical facility. However, from the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and everyone was attentive and caring! I appreciated the experience!
Fast and friendly service. Simone was very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions.
I visited AFC in seminole florida today 02/23/2024. Candace and the staff here today were amazing, kind and very helpful. I was struggling with a shortness of breath and they provided me with prompt service and care. They assessed the issue I was dealing with and provided me with the utmost care and gave me confidence i would be ok. . I would recommend this location to anyone that asks. Thank you to the Team of angels.
Office staff was friendly and personable. Experience and process was easy and fast. Would highly recommend this location!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Jessica in front was very welcoming. The N.P. Was very knowledgeable. The nurse was great too!
I get sick a lot and been to most of their locations and this location here is so different from the others. Because doctors are very kind and have a very welcoming vibe specially doctor will thank you for your help so kind of you
Friendly and quick service when you need it right away. Did a great job for me and my grandson at the same time. Thank you guys❤️
This place is Horrific- admin and doctors are junk. Don’t bother. Doctor says it looks like strep let’s start an antibiotic. I asked if he would also send in a culture to be sure and so we could know if others need to be tested. He told me that he could either write the antibiotic today or if I want him tested they WONT give him antibiotics for 3 more days til the culture comes back. So he could suffer for 3 days. I have never in my life been treated like that. Horrible and WORTHLESS.appointment time was 8:10 AM - they texted at 750 a 20 min reminder to head over. We show up and check in. At 812, after check in and while in the waiting room, I got a threatening text telling me my appt was at 810 and if I don’t check in they won’t be able to hold my appt. I texted back that I was here and went to the desk to make sure they knew I was here.Waited for over an hour for doctor to even arrive and then he was the worst doctor ever.
Everyone there was very professional and kind to my child. Kevin had exceptional bed side manner and made my child feel comfortable in a stressful situation. I wish every place was like this!
Best urgent care experience I have ever had. We were treated with courtesy and kindness, and the doctors are very knowledgeable.
Friendly and caring staff. No wait time. If you do have to wait it is because someone is in worse shape than you are. Keep that in mind, and dont take it out on the staff. The staff here is Amazing!
The staff was polite and helpful. They treated me like I was important and they cared for my injury.
I went here for a covid test at 10:20am. Its 1:50pm and Ive been next on the list waiting outside for two hours, for a total of 3.5 hours so far. I dont mind waiting but its frustrating be be lied to. They are putting walk in patients ahead of all testing, so they realistically have no clue when they will get to you. Its extremely poorly managed. The guy in the security shirt is a jerk. They know youll wait because the test is free, and the clinic bills the government.
Great staff and service! Always friendly faces there to help! Thank you AFC and please keep up the great work!
Experience was awesome. Seen my son for an ear infection. IN AND OUT not a long wait.
Went for ingrown toenail. Nurse looked at but really didnt do anything. She said I got it out I knew she had no idea what she was doing. Then a young man gave me my discharge papers and said well ingrown toenail you just gotta let it run its course. I left with the ingrown toenail I went there with. Waiting to see what they charged medicare and my insurance.
I would like to thank everyone for being so kind. I came in at 7:30 and everyone could have made me feel very rushed because of closing at 8:00. I felt heard and helped by every staff member and not rushed at all. I am just visiting from out of state but will always remember if I need to be seen around here, this is where I will go!
Good experience. Everyone was very friendly and professional, from the sweet woman who checked us in, to the provider Simone, and the nurses. Thank you!
Each and every staff member was so kind and caring. I would highly recommend this clinic. I feel fortunate to have it so close to my home.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff of AFC Urgent Care who made my recent experience as pleasant as possible, given the circumstances. Their exceptional care and attentiveness during my son’s treatment were truly commendable. Instead of being bogged down by paperwork, they prioritized his well-being with compassion and efficiency. The facility was clean and the staff was professional with a personal touch.I wholeheartedly recommend seeking medical care from this dedicated team.
Made a last minute appointment online and registration. Waited maybe 10 min past appointment time. Receptionist friendly. All medical staff professional and friendly. Was there about an hour total and happy with services.
The nicest secretary’s and doctors at any urgent care I been to here on vacation at my brothers house an they made me feel great an the doctor was very nice an made the visit a pleasure under my circumstances highly recommended this urgent care 💯❤️💙💯
Entire staff was very courteous and friendly and the office was very organized and clean. Great place!
Excellent concern and care, they listened and helped me not only fix my ear infection but a side effect I was having from my blood pressure medicine
I checked in online about 1 and 1/2 hours prior, when I arrived I only waited about 10 min to be called back. It was a great experience
Almost closing time and they took me in. VERY helpful, courteous and had me in and out in less than an hour. All staff including Al, Darrell and Gabriella could not have been better in their care. Relieved my anxiety and cured my problem. GREAT PLACE & PEOPLE!
Jessica Barnes was the receptionist who checked me in... She was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy as I was feeling very bad. She is the first person you come in contact with and that sets the stage for the visit. The nurse practitioner had good bedside manner and explained everything step by step. Overall, it was a good visit. I will return in the future.
As luck would have it, two visits by two different family members in a week. Both had good experiences here.Only drawback that we saw was in the X-ray department. One time no one was available there to do x-rays. The second time, the X-ray reader was out of order so we will have to wait for thr results to be officially read by someone later on.If you need an ace bandage, it costs $10 out of your pocket. Knowing this, we turned down crutches for a foot injury because we were afraid of potential costs associated with them.Everyone seemed friendly. With two visits, it seems like all women work here other than the X-ray guyLastly its not just this urgent care but all of them.... why do they all close so early? Id rather go to an urgent care if I need to at midnight but they are all closed and forces you to wait till morning or go to a nasty ER.
Friendly staff! Didn’t have to wait long either. Definitely recommend this urgent care
The staff is kind and eager to assist people in feeling better. However, there was a used tissue on the table in the lobby, and they were streaming music so loudly I felt like I was in a nightclub. Other than that, not a bad experience.
Laura, the best Dr. I have ever met at an Urgent Care Clinic.. Thank you so much
The provider Laura Jennings APRN, Al, Kevin took great care of me and the staff was very helpful, Knowledgable professional , and very nice and I will return again.
Receptionist was fantastic and the nurses did their job but the doctor was awful. Spent maybe 3 minutes with me and prescribed me something. I went in hoping to get an x ray to make sure my toe wasn’t fractured and there was no nerve damage which seemed to much for the faculty. It seems like you have to tell the doctors what to do because of not they just observe with their eyes and give you a prescription.
The receptionist and nurses were very kind. The doctor was quick to diagnose me with a sinus infection. Never mentioned Covid. I mentioned Covid and so they tested me and sure enough I was positive for Covid..It seemed that they were trying to rush me out the door because it was 8:00. I dont think I will use this facility again.
+ I waited outside until there was at least 6 feet of space in which to enter. The folks behind me simply piled right in behind me, with no staff to tell them not to, I was put in a position of asking them to do so.+ Sitting in the two chairs closest to the door were an elderly couple (late 80s would be my best guess.) The woman had her facemask around her chin. The man, over his mouth but below his nose. No one asked them to cover up, in a room full of people being tested for Covid.+ Each patient in the waiting room had their own style of mask, some dirty, some insufficient to cover their mouths and noses.+ The full complement of chairs were in the waiting room. No gaps, no spaces, none marked off for not sitting to ensure patients keep space.+ When my name was called, 30 minutes after my reservation (I wouldnt mind waiting a bit if I felt safe at the facility, but I couldnt go outside for fear of missing my appointment) I was taken to an intimate area where my temperature, blood pressure, etc were taken by a nurse. I could not have been sitting more than 18 from her. I felt badly for her, as someone who must sit this close to hundreds of patients a week (if not daily), and nervous for myself, sitting so close to someone this exposed.+ After the rapid test was administered, I was offered a tissue, which was a half-used roll of toilet paper sitting on the end of an exam table, unquestionably touched by each patient before me.Shame on me for not walking out after seeing the waiting room. I felt invested, in need of a test, and having already made a reservation and given my vitals online, but in retrospect this was a mistake. After 10 months of living in a Covid-19 world, you should have your stuff together. After 10 months in this world, I shouldnt have felt the least protected I have felt, while getting tested for the virus. When I left the clinic, 50 minutes after arriving, the elderly couple was still waiting in the lobby waiting to be seen. How could they not take them first, or at least have someone assist them with paperwork?
Ended up going here for a Covid-19 rapid test for travel after CVS failed to provide my results in time. Service and staff were awesome. Shout out to Canan….he did a great job!! Had my results in minutes. My new go to place for Covid testing.
Staff and provider were super friendly, professional and explained and answered all my questions.
The “save your spot” feature on the website is completely fake apparently now. We saved a spot for an estimated time this morning, arrived on time. The website told us we were next in line but other names kept getting called. We waited 30 minutes before asking for an update and were told it’s actually first come first serve and we had to wait until after everyone else who had arrived before us. We have been to this facility before using the online spot reservation system and never had this happen. No managers anywhere to ask for clarification and the desk staff doesn’t understand how the website is supposed to work.
I came in for a mild injury. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!😊 Definitely would recommend.
Everyone was super friendly and I didnt have to wait too long.
The staff was very nice and the doctor was spot on with my treatment plan.
Fantastic customer service very friendly Staff Dr was very prompt and did an excellent job. Thank you very much.
Very professional and efficient and empathetic toward my emotions. Thank you Megan and team.
I wanna start by saying, I’ve been coming to this urgent care for years now and have had nothing but good experiences. All of the doctors/nurses have always been extremely kind and done whatever they can to make me feel better with great bedside manner. Until today. Today was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any walk in clinic. But first I would like to say all of the women working in the front and the nurses working in the back were extremely kind, I don’t want them to be included in this review whatsoever. It wasn’t until I was sat in an examination room and met the practitioner, that things went down hill. Her name is Nicole. She was not personable, she had horrible besides manner and was talking to me as if I didn’t feel sick and there was nothing wrong with me. I have been sick for almost a week with multiple upper respiratory issues, the only thing she did to examine me was look in my ears and listen to my heart and looked at my throat briefly. No swabs no looking up my nose or anything. Putting all of that aside I just wanted to get some antibiotics, a doctors note and go home to rest. When I asked her about a doctors note I let her know I work tomorrow but I would like a note for the next two days to be safe. She seemed thrown off as to why asked for doctors note for the next two days, so I let her know I work in a restaurant and serve people food so I don’t wanna take a chance still going back sick. Her response to me was that “if I wear a mask then I should be fine” I was appalled. I told her I still wanted to note in case she said okay and left. Upon leaving the room I was given my paper work and I begin to leave. When I sit down in my car to go through all of my papers, THERE WAS NO DOCTORS NOTE. I went back inside spoke with the lovely girl at the front desk, she apologized to me and immediately got me a note for the days I was asking for. I proceeded to ask the front desk girl if it’s the doctors job to print the doctors notes out or there’s. She told me that yes the doctors always print out the note. Once this happened it really felt like the doctor purposefully did not give me the note. Had I not checked my belongings I wouldn’t have had that note to bring to work or I would’ve had to come all the way back to get one. I made the front desk girl and her coworkers aware of my experience and she said that she will be letting her manager know which I really appreciate.I wanna finish this by saying I’ve never written a bed review in my life, it isn’t even like me to complain, but this needed to be said. I would hate for another person to have an experience like this. I work in fine dining hospitality if there’s anything I know it’s how to talk to people and treat people, Nicole does not know how to do that. I would prefer to see a doctor that would want to make me feel better and give me a good experience not a bad one. Thank you again to all the other women that were working in there at the time. They are the only reason I would give this place another chance.Sincerely,A sick girl who just wanted some help
Went there for a job required drug test and get some blood work done.Staff is very friendly and there was minimal wait time. Site says you can reserve appointments too.
Excellent doctor and nurses on staff who make your visit an enjoyable one. Thank you so much!!!
I was really sick and needed medicine and went to Urgent Care. The staff was friendly and expedient with moving all patients through quickly. This was my second time needing the urgent care facility and I am glad I did. Everyone was great.
Shame on you. My husband visited this urgent care location with a hand injury. Paid $60 up front only to be told that the injury was too serious and he could not be treated there. No refund. Wow, it must be nice to get paid that kind of money for no services rendered. I hope you at least make a holiday donation to a charity that cares about people with that “donation” to your facility.
I always have issues when coming to this place, the main thing is they have an online check in feature “Save your spot in line”. I scheduled an appointment for 1:30 and when I went in at the designated time the receptionist told me it would be a hour and a half wait and that I could leave and she would call me when it was my turn. I left for 30 minutes and called up to check the wait time and she told me it was still an hour and a half, I told her that online it was saying I was next in line which she replied that there is no appointments it’s first come first serve, meanwhile my phone is receiving texts saying:“ Its time to head to the clinic. Please check in 10 mins before your 1:31 pm visit. Click [web address] for visit updates.” -@1:11p when I was pulling up“Hello, your visit time was 1:31 pm. Please check with the front desk soon. We may not be able to hold your visit time.” - @1:33pm after I checked in at the desk and the receptionist said it was a long wait“Were sorry that youre having trouble making it to the clinic and have missed your reservation. Please call or go online to check in again.” -@2:01 when I called to check on wait timeI don’t understand why they have this feature if they’re not going to honor it. I’ve never had a less then a 2 hour wait to get into a room, and then when you get called back your stuck waiting in the room for an addition 30 minutes to an hour and a half. There’s only one receptionist, one nurse, and one doctor at any given time. Also the receptionists typically have a attitude or aggressive tone to there voice as though you’re inconveniencing them by coming in. This is the last time I come here.
Everyone was extremely friendly and professional!!Five Star Service for sure!!Doris Rodriguez
Clean, courteous, quick and concise is how I would describe my visit at AFC today. “AJ” is very friendly and has great bedside manners. She promptly addressed my concerns. I would definitely return to this location.
Very pleasant experience, everyone was nice and accommodating! Very good care!
Excellent expedient service. The provider was able to reduce the pain greatly. I wish she was my primary doctor
Well honestly every one was so nice, staring from the reception desk, the staff and the doctor,I feel happy with my visit today,
The doctor on staff was wonderful. Her name was Peace. The young man who checked me in was so nice thorough. His name was Ransome. All staff of the were pleasant.
Everyone in this office is nicer than the next! Im so glad I chose this location! And also…in-and-out quick service!
I’ve only been to this location a few times as I’ve not found a PC since moving here yet. They are always nice and upbeat. Docs and PA’s are always nice and have a smile on their face. I have insurance so rarely do I have to pay so I can’t speak to billing and prices but overall- I’ll be back if and when I need care!
Excellent service!!! Kevin took care of me and im very hapoy with his attention!!
Please read this. From a Seminole local. I cant stress enough how little i feel they care about you and your health. Im not trying to be a karen but i feel helpless having visited this location, and its too expensive to just keep trying until i get a doctor that actually cares and is knowledgeable.I spent $175 to meet with a doctor. Twice now. Both times, Ive had to try my best to get the doctor to answer my questions without just running out of the room...... After 30 seconds of their time, they are constantly trying to walk out of the room and end the evaluation. Its infuriating. Its so expensive to go in the first place and to not have their attention when its your turn feels horrible. The last time i was there was for a viral infection that turned into an ear/sinus infection. The doctor was quick to prescribe an antibiotic, but that was the end of the visit. It took an hour of waiting to talk to the doctor, and then 30 seconds of them in the room with me looking in my ears and talking to me... 30 whole seconds. I tried asking more questions, but they were 1 foot out the door. I just got whatever they prescribed and hoped for the best.I am still suffering from the aforementioned illness, and they do not allow you to come back even within 5 days without having to pay another 175. I know what experience I im in for now, so whats the point of spending that much money a third time there? I just wanted my local care center to take my illness seriously and do their best. But i cant afford to keep getting brushed off. Absolutely frustrated.I dont feel they take their jobs seriously as a care provider at this point. Your well-being does not seem to be their main interest. Your checkbook is the main concern ands its been made very clear twice now. Will never go back, and i strongly recommend you find another facility that will take your health seriously. Please be warned, even though some folks seem to have had a good experience, if youre desperate to be seen by a doctor, you may very well regret it. PLEASE call around the area and find a better alternative for yourself.
Great professional treatment and support. I highly recommend the need for urgent care at this location.
I used to go here whenever I wasn’t feeling good but never again. I went in and they told me i had bronchitis, ear and sinus infection. Gave me 4 different medications. Couple days later i was feeling worse, fever spiked again. Went to the ER and i had the flu. The docs at Er said i did not have an ear or sinus infection. They did a chest xray and i did not have bronchitis either. So sad. These doctors at urgent care do not care. Just want you out with medicine. I can not believe they did not do a flu or covid test when i walked into this urgent care. I even had symptoms of both the flu and covid. Unbelievable. I stopped taking the amoxicillin because i did not need it. Very disappointed because this is 2 mins from my house and most convenient but they lost me as a patient. Do not recommend. Also, the doc seeing me told me to bring my 1 year old daughter in the next day and that she needs antibiotics bc I explained she has green bugerscoming out her eyes. Took her to the pediatrician and she was fine. Just had clogged tear ducts. Im so glad i did not bring my daughter here.
Wait time was only a few mins. Everyone was caring, friendly and did a great job!
I preregistered so wait was only about 15 minutes.Doctor was very helpful and prescribed medicine to alleviate my symptoms!
Super friendly and very efficient ! Need an x-ray, and was in and out within an hour.
One of the kindest staff I have ever dealt with... from Jessica at the front desk, to the nurse to the Dr. Excellent care. Highly recommend.
My wife and I made an appointment for the rapid antigen test for travel. Our appointments were for 11:15 and 11:20 and we were taken care of promptly.Everyone we encountered there were nice to deal with. The lady who took care of us explained the test and told us to relax and we would not be uncomfortable. Very easy and we were told to wait 10 minutes for our results.Very happy with the service.
I am always seen pretty quickly and the staff are very nice and make you feel respected.
I came here for two separate issues. After meeting with a doctor, I was sent on my way, ushered out the back door. Before I got there, as I was reading my exit paperwork, I noticed they had only addressed the second issue, not the first. When I asked about it, I was told they can only address one issue per day. I would have to comeback tomorrow and pay another $100 copay for the first issue. I thought this was a health care facility. My mistake.
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Water fountains out of order. Enrolled online for 12:50 appt. Arrived at 12:40 and wasnt called until 1:27. Waited another 25 minutes for doctor to see me. She told me she was the only one seeing patients and was terrific. Was checked out at 2:13. Overall a positive experience.
Everyone was friendly. Fixed me up with a correct diagnosis and meds!
I really liked the staff and doctor at AFC Urgent Care Seminole. They were very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The 4 star rating was because of the excessive wait time. But the care I received was excellent and I will use them in the future.
10! absolutely love this medicalgroup. provider and staff at all locations are exceptional!!!
The waiting time was next to nothing. The staff was extremely professional. My test results came back very quickly. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and if I should ever need medical assistance I will visit this location. Thanks to everyone working today.
The staff provided excellent service and took care of my every needs while I was at that facility. The staff acted in a very professional manner.and is to be complimented.
From Jessica to Al then finally AJ- my experience was much more pleasant than I anticipated. Thank you all for helping me forget for a moment that I was in need of “Urgent Care”.I highly recommend this particular location.
Ive been to this facility two times over the past three months. When I first went for my son, I was impressed with how friendly the staff was, the kid friendly movies playing, and how clean the facility was. When I went this past month for my husband.. we received the same great care by different staff members. Which tells me that friendliness runs on staff! The facility was clean from waiting room to restrooms. Everything was explained to our understanding and we were treated very well.
First time coming into this Urgent Care. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jessica B. she has great customer service and took her time explaining things to I really appreciate thank you so much.
Right from the beginning I was amazed at the cleanliness of the facility. I was greeted by Lisa who was welcoming and friendly. She completed the registration process very quickly. I didnt have a chance to sit and wait at all.The facility is gorgeous! Its so clean! When I was called back, Bianca was compassionate, very friendly and has a great personality. When she brought me to my room they had TVs with family friendly movies showing that was nice, especially for patients with children. The Nurse Practitioner Bethany was very caring, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns with compassion and understanding to how I was feeling. She made sure I was well taken care of and all the bases were covered. I highly recommend the facility. I will definitely tell everyone I know about it. Finally a Urgent Care with staff that are eager to help you feel better. That kind of treatment really sets the bar extremely high for all others.
Amazing Practice! I wouldn’t pay attention to the bad reviews at all. The problem in America is everyone is so entitled and they don’t want to wait! This is a walk-in clinic with a wonderful staff that really cares and Very clean facility as well!
I made an “appointment” online the same day of my visit. Online it provided me the opportunity to fill out the typical paperwork along with uploading images of my insurance card. I came in at the end of a long line (about 5 people) and the gentleman checking guests in was super welcoming and although the waiting room had people seated, I was seen very quickly thanks to my online appointment. Medical staff was efficient and kind. Highly recommend!
I booked online and it was very fast and easy. Received a text message telling me when to show up on the day of my appointment and everything was extremely seamless. Nice staff, very accommodating on Thanksgiving day. Got our results quickly. Works very well if you need a rapid Covid test done for a cruise. Highly recommend them!
Had to reserve a week prior for a PCR COVID TEST because of time sensitive issue and made them aware of the issue. The front desk lady advised me to make the registration claiming it will help me walking in and out within couple minutes. The frustration I got from them was huge. I was queued with the other walk-ins, reservation process is a joke, not real. Horrible customer service, very unprofessional, lack of communication and of empathy. Reminded to the front desk lady in a very politely way the reason I did come right at 8am when they open. She notified the nurses 3 times but none of them came out, ignoring me completely. They kept chatting and laughing out loud with each other, chilling while on the clock, eating breakfast and consuming coffee in the break room. Requested to speak to a manager and I was told the manager comes after 9:30am. They even charged me $20 copay for the test while having an insurance. And I have never been charged before in that same location, neither in any other place. After 25 minutes a young Afro-American female nurse finally showed up, walking as slow as she could. She didnteven tried to apologize for letting me wait and when I tried to have an explanation, she claimed they were doing some paperwork but in a very disrespectful way.Do everything you can to stay away from this location. Absolute the worst customer service experience. Ill put a strong word of mouth out there for this specific location.
AFC Urgent Care provided me with amazing care. Erin and her med tech were both very professional, friendly, and informative. They listened to my concerns and were clear and concise in voicing my treatment plan. The office front desk staff greeted me with a smile and answered all of my questions. The office was also very clean. Thank you!
I love American Family Care. The staff and the doctors are kind. The music always makes me smile. When I’m sick or need help, I know I can find it at Seminole AFC. I know when I go in I’m with a trust worthy group of individuals who are helping me learn to care for myself. If I could have a favorite place to go when I need help it’s here, AFC.
I love this office so much! The front desk and the nurses are amazing, organized and quick. I was in and out for a rapid covid test in less than 30 minutes. I also rushed my son here for stitches and they took us right back, calmed him down, and had him stitched up within the hour. I highly recommend!
I come here every time I do something stupid and hurt myself. They’re always very nice to me and compassionate about me being an idiot and getting injured. Typically in and out in a timely manner. There’s a lot of really nice and dedicated people who work here. They do their best to help out
Seriously horrible. Maybe it was just my experience based on what others have said here, but from the beginning to the end it was not a good experience.Lets start with the reservation process. You schedule a reservation which really does nothing for you except allow you to sit at home until that reservation time. When arrive, hopefully not a full waiting room, because if it is youll be sitting... and waiting... and sitting. Two hours after my reservation Im finally called. Go through the standard weight, height, BP checks. Ask you to reconfirm what youre there for. Wait another 25 minutes in a patient room for the Dr. or PA-C to visit. Quickly did a diagnosis (5 minutes tops) and said youll need to get a CT scan. Ill write up the order/referral and you can be on your way. Staff left and I waited. 40+ minutes I waited in the room. I know it was at least that because I watched half a movie in the room. Finally I get the order for the CT scan.Fast forward to my CT scan. I ask the imaging company if they need anything further from me such as taking it to AFC or come back to get results. The imaging confirms they will send the results within 48 hours to AFC. Two days pass and no word on my results so I call AFC to ask if theyve had a chance to review. Before even taking my name or any information Im told that usually the imaging place faxes it over and I should contact them to do so. Hang up, call the imaging place back. They confirm they have sent via fax. Call AFC back again. A different person answers, but with about the same attitude as the first. Before I can even finish explaining whats going they begin to talk over me about how the process works. I remind them that Im quite confident the imaging place knows the process and has faxed it. In fact, they even confirmed they did. Again, before even asking my name or any information Im told they havent received anything. I mention that you dont even know who you are talking to so how could you know if it was sent. Crickets... Finally I ask what should I do then? Im told to go back to the imaging and get the results. At that point Im done, forget it... You clearly arent there to help people. This was a great reminder to me the importance of having a primary doctor. Never again will I go there. I would have been better off going straight to the ER.Do better AFC!
The online registration was easy to do making check in quick as possible. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the office was clean and sterile. The young lady Diana that administered our COVID test was polite and professional, and friendly! She was knowledgeable and was great easing the nerves of my nephew that has Autism. I would definitely use and recommend this facility again!!
It was Sunday morning and my son was showing signs of Covid I went online and tried to find a location that was doing rapid results testing to ensure he could go to school the next day. Everything took hours to hunt and look for and nothing had any appointments available. I finally called this place and they were extremely nice helpful and friendly and directed me online so I could fill out my registration and schedule an appointment for that day. When I arrived the front desk person was very friendly and upbeat - the place was pleasant. music playing and extremely clean -the triage person was wonderful to my son, the guy who did the Covid test was funny and friendly and assuring, and the nurse practitioner came in and gave us the results. The whole thing took 20 minutes and they were extremely professional and friendly and all on a Sunday afternoon when I’m sure they would rather be outdoors. This is a great place!!!
Made an appt via my phone @ 8a.m. for a 9:15 appt. I NEVER expected to be seen, tested (strep) treated, and on my way less than 45 minutes later. The staff at this facility was professional and friendly. The facility was very clean! Theres no comparison between the Seminole facility and the Tyrone (rude staff, dirty). Will go again if needed!!
Staff was excellent, I am sorry to say I forgot the name of the nurse who took care of my husband,he went above and beyond in making us feel at ease.
Terrible wait and they weren’t even busy. Been here 2 hrs now and just got to a room and found out he has 101.9 fever and been in here for over 30 min in the room by ourselves.
I went in for what I thought to be a broken finger. Website said they do X-rays but when you get there, they don’t. My entire experience was awful! I’m sure this was the first splint the person ever did but the popsicle sticks she taped on were crooked and created an awful pressure wound. I would hate to think they charge Medicare for a real metal splint but my guess is they do. When I got in to see the orthopedic dr, he said it was the worst splint he’s ever seen. I wish I could say something positive but I can’t.just received your response, yes, I was a patient there under the name of Barbara Bauersachs. Didnt realize google had my married name.
Fast, Friendly, and Caring Treatment. Total time from when I walked in until I left was 45 min. All of the staff, from the front desk, through triage, and in the exam room were all compassionate, efficient, and professional. Everyone was wonderful. This is the only urgent care Ill go to.
Checkin was easy, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Was grateful they could help me out while we are here on vacation.
I was in and out within a half hour. The staff was very friendly and Im glad that I went so I could get an antibiotic and hopefully feel better soon
Went for PCR test today and the place was very busy but the staff did a great job.I was especially impressed at how they handled themselves when many of the patients were terribly rude.I wish there was an option to wait in your car and get a text when its your turn to come in because people were not keeping distancing (including many that were obviously sick).I was there 1 hour and the test was super quick and painless.
Great walk-in clinic. Very nice staff, great with kids, but wait time was long (even with a reservation). I know it’s like that anywhere during Covid world though. I liked the laid back atmosphere, the nurse was very pleasant and they were so good with my child, who can be anxious about doctors. I’d definitely go back. I also like the providers-they are very nice and kind as well.
Very nice staff and Dr. Fast service.
Everyone at the office was great. Check-in was easy. My son was seen quickly. The gal at the front desk was very nice when I asked her a few questions. The nurse who took us back was also very nice. She listened to what my son had to say about his problem. The NP was very nice. She was very friendly. Would go back it I needed to. Only wish I knew there was an online hold my place option. But that was my fault.
At least 20+ people waiting. I had an appointment and had filled out all the necessary paperwork Pryor to my appointment. Sadly most did not. Waited about 35 minutes past my appointment time but I expected longer. The receptionist was polite and courteous. All the nurses were equally as nice and showed concern.
Website encourages setting up a reservation which was quite Time consuming and included uploading pictures of driver’s license and insurance cards. When arriving at my “reserved “ time slot was informed it would be 1 to 2 hours wait, plus they had to copy my I’D and insurance card again. I could have saved at least a half out by skipping the pre registering and drive there right away
They give the option to make appt online and they will text when your appt time is ready but when I got there 5 minutes before my appt time I still had to wait an extra 25 minutes before I was called in although the website says you can wait in the comfort of your own home and they will text when theyre going to be ready for you. So a little put off by that but otherwise the staff was excellent, very nice and professional. I would recommend this AFC in Seminole, FL
Paid $50 copay, when we pay about $20 at IN urgent care facilities. Walked in to empty waiting room , except for one woman whom the staff all seemed to know. After she was called in, it was 1/2 hr. wait to be called back to the nurse practitioner. 5-6 office or support staff workers hanging around talking or having snack/drinks.Was told I would have UTI culture results called to me in 3 days. I was there on a Tuesday, called late on Friday when no one called. Staff answering phone proceeded to lecture me that it might take 3-5 days for those results and thats what I should ahve been told. Then he looked for my results and sure enough, they were there. :/
I use AFC often since it is so difficult to see my primary care Dr for routine issues. They are wonderful. The staff is caring. I usually can get an appointment the same day or definitely the next day. Waiting time is minimal and if you don’t feel comfortable sitting in the waiting room they will get you from your car.
Had a great experience at AFC. I booked my appointment online. Masks are required and facility is very clean. Easy check in with reception. Wait was reasonable, and the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. There is also a price list available in the lobby for the most common tests and procedures for those without insurance.
Kevin Egan was incredible! Very kind and courteous.
We had an amazing experience at AFC Seminole!!I made my very last minute appt online and did the registration online too. We arrived a few minutes early and checked in and was ushered straight to a room. The nurse and doctor were absolutely fantastic with my special needs son. He had put tissue in his ear, apparently and they cleaned it all out for him. I’m so pleased with our treatment and the great attitudes of the staff even though we were a very late appt.
Very clean, efficient, friendly and professional. I made my reservation for 3:30pm, I checked in 10 minutes early and they took me in the room by 3:30. The nurse and PA listened to my issue and took the time to treat me and answered my questions. I was in and out within 30 minutes. It was a great experience
Made appointment on line, today, a Sunday morning. Was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Fast efficient service and extremely friendly staff!!! Receptionist was very sweet and kind, exceptional staff from start to finish!!! Thank you AFC Seminole!!! (My first experience with any urgent care facility, couldn’t have been better!)
Thank you for getting us in so quickly. Your staff is fantastic! Very kind and efficient. Highly recommend this urgent care.
It was so easy to go here. I was able to make an appointment a few hours before and was able to upload all my insurance information online before I arrived. The staff was wonderful and quick visit! They called in my prescription and it was ready when I got to CVS. The nurse partitioner was wonderful. I would see her as primary care physician if I could.
I recently went to this clinic for some shoulder issues I was having. As I came in, the front desk staff were amazing and polite. They were able to answer the questions I had about the initial paperwork, and they were on top of explaining the flow of how I would be called in. As I went back into the office, I passed between a couple of different staff that assisted with the checkup process. They were nothing but professional and willing to listen to my (probably unnecessarily long) explanation of the issue I was having. The office itself is very clean/inviting, and I think it is worth a visit for anyone in the area needing care.
Having a sick child while traveling is not something that anyone wants to deal with, but we dont always get what we want. These fantastic people were helpful, prompt and, most of all, engaged and kind with my young son and us. They helped us make the most of an unfortunately timed ear infection.Im just not used to this level of service in healthcare anymore. They were the best.
Got me in quick, listened carefully to my health background and gave me medication for my concerns! And even explained the dosage. Already recommended this location to one family member!
I went in for a COVID test as it was mandatory for my job. I was fully understanding of the situation, knowing it would be busy. So i patiently waited for my turn as I was there at 615 am to wait in line at the door. When they opened the doors after 8am and we turned in our paperwork, I began to realize that it did not matter what order we were in because they had absolutely no method or structure for calling patients back. To make matters worse, one of the nurses gave me an attitude because I said out loud to a coworker “the DR. back there is really nice” she laughed a snarky giggle and said “that’s actually not a DR. that’s a nurse. In response I said “well regardless they were really nice” and I left and waited outside for a my coworker. Only to be told that I was being discussed amongst the staff in the back. Because of my previous statement about the “DR.” As well as making my coworker feel bad for leaving her house. The lack of professionalism and bed side manner was appalling. We all need to be patient and kind considering the situation we are all enduring. That being said the older gentleman that actually administered my test was very pleasant and informative. That was very much appreciated.
Clean and modern large waiting room with a TV (bonus) abs free coffee.Very Busy on the Saturday I went, many there if not all for Covid testing. Staff were nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. Make your appointment and Check in on line before you come. Puts you ‘in line’ and they text you 20 minutes before your appointment as a reminder it’s time to head their way.Made my 1:15 pm appt at 11am online, arrived there at 1 pm and was done and home by 2:30.Any Urgent Care on a week end afternoon getting in and out under 2 hours is GREAT!
I went in on a Thursday morning and about 10:40 for a suspected UTI. The waiting room was clean, and desk staff was friendly. I had to fill out some new patient paperwork, but it didnt take long. The lobby was outfitted with a self-serve coffee station and a big TV playing a movie, so even if I had had to wait long, it would have been way more enjoyable than in other urgent care clinics Ive been to (Im looking at you, MedExpress largo...) The insurance, payment, and signing processed seemed very transparent and centered on the patient, not making a buck. After I got called in the back, I was able to give a sample, hear the results from kind & competent-seeming medical staff (I was seen by Bethany Merrill, who if remember correctly introduced herself as an NP), and leave with a prescription for antibiotics and pain relief by approx 12:00! Not bad at all! They also promised to follow up in a few business days when the lab results are back to see if they need to adjust my treatment. So honestly, one of the quickest and easiest urgent care visits Ive ever had. However, there was only 1 other person in the lobby when I came in, so I cant say what the wait times are like when its super busy, or when its a weekend.Overall a really good experience for me this time around, and Ill be back in the future.
I had a very good experience here. I appreciate being able to do most of the registration online and the ability to schedule the appointment. As long as you have all your paperwork done ahead of time they can get to you faster. In my case I was in an out and left there before my appointment time.
5 stars to 1 star-December 11, 2020-3 months ago I was very happy with the service that was provided; since then my husband, daughter, and myself have returned and the service was horrible. My daughter and I signed in online at 4:15pm and were given a return time of 5:40pm and 5:45pm. When we returned at 5:35pm, the next patient showing on their computer check-in was at 5:55pm. We waited, an older woman was working at the front, on the computer, and not acknowledging anyone. Finally the younger lady at the back asked if we were in line and I stated yes and our name. The woman at the computer stated loudly and rudely, We have been calling you for over 2 hours! Really, we had not even been registered for 2 hours. I pulled up my phone log and showed her my last call was a 4:04pm from my husband. Then the other woman said, I was calling your daughter but in a nice tone. My daughter pulled up her call log and her last call was at 11:08am this morning. So the younger lady asked us to have a seat and wait, which I told her I appreciated. The rest of the visit was fine but to have someone so rude, inattentive, and with no integrity working as the first person customers encounter is not a smart business choice. As for my husbands negative with AFC Seminole, in October, he was waiting for some time and they called back William and an elderly gentleman got up and went back even though he came in long after my husband. My husband finally asked how much longer and they stated he had already been called. The front desk worker had to go back and tell the technician that he was doing the screening on the wrong person. My husband works in the medical field and the first thing you must do is verify you have the proper patient in front of you.I will not return to AFC! BayCare has more personable workers at the front desk and know their basic medical routines.3 months ago-Nicole was at the front desk, providing friendly and efficient service. She thanked me for my husbands service in the military, which is nice to hear. I was in and out quickly and would recommend AFC Urgent Care to anyone needing friendly care.
The staff here are so nice. The front desk associate communicated clearly our wait time and what to expect. The nurses and doctor were engaging and used a good sense of humor to guide us through the procedure. We will use AFC Seminole again.
The staff were super friendly and the online check in was easy. The 4 stars is only because the wait is till longer than I expected after you make an appointment. I was later told the “appointment “ is actually just a registration “start time”. So, a little misleading IMO. But once I was in , it went fast. I would visit the clinic again .
Staff was extremely helpful, very polite and well mannered. All around nice atmosphere and positive attitudes.
I was so impressed with this place. I went in just to get blood work done and it was such a great experience all thanks to Lady!! I told her I get a lot of blood work done but I was still nervous, however she is VERY good at what she does! You can tell! But other than that, she’s also Extremely gentle and kind and funny! Great place to go! The most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care type place!
Made a reservation and waited an hour before being seen. The person that came in behind me was seen before me. I asked and the nurse said he was clocked in before me which is bs because I watched the guy getting out of his truck while I was in the waiting room. Then the nurse was extremely rude. Will not come back here. People who work here are inferior!
Second time I’ve been here in two weeks.. both times it’s been quick and easy! From check in to check out each staff member has been helpful.. even the front desk guy recognized me when I first walked in with my son
Great service deserves 5 stars! It started from the very first good morning from Lady. Unigna was very nice as well. The physician assistant Erin Hogan was very very good. Actually listen to me and diagnose me within minutes. She took the time and provided a great service. I think regular clinics dont do that. I highly recommend!
Best staff I have ever been in contact with friendly and caring
No one likes having to visit the Urgent Care with sick kiddos but these guys are amazing!!! Dr. Murillo was fast and efficient. We all know the wait at the Dr’s can be frustrating but once we were called back to a room, we waited less then 5 mins for him to come. Staff was extremely polite and funny. Made the experience for my little guy less fearful. Lady was amazing, too!! I always feel in good hands when we have to visit here. Keep up the great work guys!!
Great Urgent Care Facility! You can make an appt. to receive timely, professional care. Our Primary Doctor cant find the time to see patients on short notice so this is our go-to place!
Worst doctors office I’ve ever experienced. Came in for chest pains with only 2 other people in the waiting room. Ended up waiting 4 hours to Get called back, as they have no system for organizing patients paper work. At least 10 people who came in after me were seen before me. Girl at the front desk is rude and unorganized. They took my blood and never called me with my results, yet billed me for the test. I’ve been calling them for days to get my results and no one answers the phone. Very incompetent. Not to mention their feedback on some of these bad reviews are snarky and unprofessional. Save your time and go ANYWHERE else.
I have been to this Urgent Care 4 times and each time I have had great service. One time I had to wait 1/2 hour past my appointment but that is not the norm. I highly recommend this Urgent Care. I go here for all my “urgent care needs”. The best
The staff were very efficient inspite of the 20 or so people waiting for service . Once called to an exam, room each nurse was very professional, friendly & thorough in the execution of their job. Wouldnt hesitate to visit there again.
Before I post anything further, I do want to say the MA and NP who saw me for 5 seconds were very nice however I will never be returning to this Urgent Care for any other needs as it is a scam. They had me pay my co-pay before I saw the NP which I was okay with. When they took me back, they took my blood pressure but asked me my height and weight. Did a quick eye exam because Im experiencing extreme pain in my eye and have been for awhile. I go back and wait to be seen by the NP. My eye was tearing up, very red, and swollen. I could barely keep it open. I explain what is going on to the NP, she listens and asks some follow up questions about my familys history. She then lets me know that I probably need to see an eye doctor as this seems more complex - she looks at my eye for a second by moving my lid with her fingers. No equipment is used. She then repeats me needing to see an actual eye doctor and says she will print a list of walk-in clinics in the area. I grab the list and leave because I was in so much pain and just needed to figure it out. I do not go to any of the doctors on her list because none of them are open, instead I find an appointment at another doctors office for the same day. I get to the new doctors office and wouldnt you know... I have a large scratch on my cornea. This doctor takes care of me and gets it all figured out. If the NP at the Urgent care just took a second to look in my eye with some sort of equipment/eye drop dye that I know exists and can show you scratches on the eye she probably wouldve saw the scratch and been able to give me the same prescription as the optometrist. While she was very nice and sympathetic, she did not do her job and I am mad I spent $120 today without needing too. This is simply negligence. I couldve gone to one doctor and gotten it solved. I will never be returning here for any needs and no one else should unless you want to be scammed out of your co-pay and speak to a condescending secretary at the front desk who told me I wouldnt have been able to get the Google-able list without paying $50. If I could give them 0 stars, I really would but I guess the 1 star is for how nice the NP and MA were.
Bianca and Erin at AFC Urgent Care/Seminole were very kind, compassionate and friendly when we went in on a Friday afternoon for my daughters broken arm. They worked together very efficiently to x-ray and diagnose in a timely manner and then went the extra mile to immediately find, schedule and send our insurance info and results over to a local orthopaedic for my daughter to be seen that same day and receive treatment for her fracture. Comforted, pleased and appreciative for their excellent customer service. A positive experience, I highly recommend their services.
The staff are all fantastic. They have such a positive attitude especially considering how busy this location is. Phones ringing off the hook, lines waiting to check in and return paperwork yet they are stay friendly, not rushed or frazzled. I got there early thank goodness and was in and out in 30 mins for COVID Test. I highly recommend this clinic and Justin rocks!!
10+++. The staff was excellent. The were swamped and all the staff was extremely patient and respectful of everyone. I have never seem such great teamwork, compassion, and knowledge of technical systems (which could be more user friendly) administrated so efficiently. A five star operation
They where very knowledgeable! Kevin and doctor and staff wonderful.
We did not have an appointment and registration was lengthy but not hard. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. We got in in 20 minutes. The phlebotomist was awesome. Never had such a painless blood draw in my life. I would recommend highly. Her name was Erika.
I came here on 6/28 for their free Covid-19 testing. We drove by the morning before and noticed a huge line, so when we planned our trip we made sure to get there for around 6:30am. The line is long because they’re doing everything they can to follow social distancing guidelines and are only letting so many people inside at once. There was an employee who was monitoring the door and he was a great guy. He said that he has the ability to stand inside the door in the AC but would rather be outside because the people in line have to be - I feel that’s truly genuine of a person to do that. The office staff was friendly and although they are having to repeatedly do the same thing, day in and day out, with hundreds of patients, they were very personable and made you feel like you had their full attention. The process was very smooth and went pretty quickly, and I will be able to check my results online in a few days.I have no experience with this facility besides Covid testing, but I would return here if I needed to visit an urgent care. They have a convenient and centrally located location.
I didnt have time to mess around with a traditional doctors visit, so I opted to try this urgent care because it was new and had great reviews. I was promptly seen within 30 minutes. Staff and nurse practitioner were very friendly and attentive. I would go here again in a pinch over a primary care visit any day.
I just had a horrible experience here. I walked in for a Covid test. The man at the counter asks for my current insurance. I gave him my ID number that was on a paper. He could not find it. Instead of calling Florida blue himself, I did and it took 2 mins. I suggested I’d pay upfront so I didn’t have to wait longer but if we find out it is covered they can just reverse the card while I’m there. He agreed. No biggie right? Wrong. While in the exam room waiting only 10 mins which was great, Dr was great, I called bcbs, like he should have, and got the exact same number. He checked again and they do take my insurance. I said “no biggie, just reverse what’s owed back and bill the insurance. The reply is absolutely insane. “We will bill your insurance and once we’re paid we can reimburse you” Wait, what. You couldn’t find it, didn’t call on my behalf, I did and it was found. Now I wait 6 weeks for $275 that I paid for the visit. Ive never heard of this. Especially since I was still there. This is an example of a poorly run corporate entity that wants your cash up front even if you have insurance that they have failed to locate. Steer clear of this place and if forced to go walk in on the phone with your medical representative the phone to be your advocate. They sure won’t be!
This clinic rudely turned me away for my hip pain. Not nice people here.
Went for the Covid and antibody test. I had no problem, but Cristina that took care of my husband was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to do the antibody test for my husband, after he repeatedly asked for it. Then she came to talk to me, to “educate” me and to tell me that she didn’t think it was necessary for my husband to get the antibody test. Our primary care physician recommended for us to get one. Cristina we did not go to your place of employment to get “educated” nor for your opinion. We went there to get tested. She ended up doing both test for my husband but very roughly!! I spoke to the manager (Justin) and he was very nice, but she should not be performing test on anyone! The manager should of told her to go home! We both had the same test but they were performed very differently. I have contacted headquarters and I am waiting to hear back from them.
We always choose AFC as our urgent care option in Seminole. Only once I had to wait longer than half an hour to be seen (today was 2 hours) which I don’t mind because they’re quick once you’re in! Everyone is so nice and professional. Nothing is pushed on you, they ask how you feel and provide a list of treatment options they recommend. I’m confident in their ability to care for my and my family’s ailments.
Considering how ill my husband and I were when we arrived, we had only a positive experience from our kind greeting by Lady through the end of our visit. We were seen by Bethany Merrill, APRN, Carmen, and Justyn. All were very professional and very kind. We were seen promptly. Soon after we arrive the waiting room filled up with 8 or 9 other patients. We never felt we were being hurried. The facility was very clean. With each new patient that arrived, Lady greeted them just as cheerfully as she had greeted us. We were very impressed with this AFC Urgent Care and would highly recommend it.
Set an appt. for 12:55 today. I arrived early to wait my turn. I was not taken back until 1:15ish pm. Covid test was taken immediately. I was told it would take 15 minutes for the results. After waiting over 30 minutes in the room with no communicating I decided to leave. As I walked out there were two young ladies and one very rude guy standing the desk. He said can I Help you and I replied no, I have been in that room for over 30 minutes so I am leaving. He proceeded to tell me I could not leave as I tested positive. And my reply was watch me. He then very cocky said to me, well you have a great day and make sure to wear your mask as he grinned at me. I will never go back and I recommend you go some place else unless you have time to sit and not been seen.
Great staff but I had to go to their other location for x-rays. Ok not a big deal. I told them which pharmacy I wanted my prescription to be sent. They sent it to another location. When I got to my pharmacy, they were able to get transferred. However, I had to make a trip to the pharmacy a second time, as they had to do all the insurance paperwork & they were busy.
I visited AFC Urgent Care Seminole while traveling from out of state. The check-in process was easy and the wait was short. Everyone was very warm and friendly. The nurse practitioner that I saw was quite knowledgeable and had a fantastic bedside manner. She helped me out with my problem and I was on my way. I highly recommend to anyone needing urgent care.
The entire staff was very caring and friendly. My nurse gave me a shot and I didnt even feel it.The Nurse Practioner was very thorough and knowledgeable.
My primary doctor wasn’t getting the job done, so I came here one time and now it’s the only place I come too, especially when my doctors office hours doesn’t fit my work schedule. They always take good care of me at all locations. This one in particular has great, uplifting staff that know what they’re doing. Lady and Justin are awesome thanks guys :)
Everyone there was terrific they were very helpful and caring. They helped me with the forms to be filled out and answer any questions I had. They explained to me about the test I was having and talk to me while they were doing it. If I ever have to go to another center Im always going to the AFC urgent care in Seminole and recommend them to everyone.
Received excellent care yesterday at Seminole office. Staff was friendly, helpful, informative and made me feel I was very important. I feel bettertoday already and have been dealing with illness for 2 weeks. I will always refer other people and friends there. Give them a very high rating!!!
I normally go to Med Express and they do give excellent care there. They just do not offer appointments and are not open on Sundays. Due to no appointments the normal wait time is one hour plus. I thought I would try Urgent Care on a Sunday. Not only are they open on Sundays they offer appointments. Wow, Game Changer!!! I was in and out within 30 minutes and everyone there was extremely professional and pleasant. Thank you, and I will refer family and friends.
Nice folks, clean facility, prompt service, Im confident in the outcome. What more could one want in an urgent care visit?
Day staff is horrible!!!! With the exception of Michelle, the girl who was the first person I saw once I was as taken back. Justin was the worst. I have insurance but I didn’t have $5 on me for my copay. I asked front desk if I could pay at the end of my visit and Justin yelled from one of the offices NO and rambled on in the most belligerent way and also snapped at the front desk person. Everyone in the waiting room could hear him. I had to call my mother (who was on her way to her own appointment ) to come back after dropping me off so that she could give me her debit card to pay the $5. Once I saw the nurse practitioner, Darrell, I was very pleased. What a great demeanor he has, exceptionally professional and kind.
Yesterday morning, I looked on AFC Urgent Cares website for their COVID testing schedule. Found out, I could get test that evening after work. Then I was asked to fill out my information online. The was great, means less time inside filling out paperwork.. When I arrived, I checked in at Front Desk and waited maybe 10 min for my name to be called. All staff was really helpful and very pleasant. Received my PCR and antibody test.. Then on my way. Maybe 30 min total there. Yes everyone had a mask on. Very clean.. Thank you.
