Never had an issue with any of the receptionists in fact they were always so helpful and kind. Today I called and I was on hold for 20 minutes even more and I honestly don’t mind but after waiting for some time, one of the receptionist was so rude for absolutely no reason. I explained my concern and asked why I was denied for a refill and I just received an attitude in every response she gave. Even towards the end of the call, she kept rushing every question I had.

I scheduled an appointment and called saying i would be a few minutes late. The receptionist said it was fine and when i got there she said they couldnt take us. Horrible communication. I will never make an appointment there again.

I called to make an appointment and the woman I spoke with couldn’t understand anything I was saying. She told me I would receive a confirmation via email and hung up. I never received confirmation and when I tried to call back NOBODY would pick up the phone. I tried 6 times and waited on hold for up to 30 minutes each time without speaking to ANYONE. Absolutely outrageous. Besides that not all available appointments are online which makes it even more frustrating.

The receptionist was very sweet and felt bad about turning people away. I believe she wasnt aware of what was going on behind the scenes as far as why the nurses were so busy and why they couldnt take walk ins. She was incredibly sincere when expressing how she felt bad for being turning people away. This location and whoever is in charge of over the phone customer service need to play catch up. The phone customer service line told I and another couple, that this location was taking walk ins. We both spoke to multiple people (I personally spoke to 3) and was told I could walk in as this was the only location taking walk ins today. When I arrived I was turned away after a 40 minute drive and offered no recommendations to another OBGYN close by that could take me in today. I called the Planned Parenthood line for the area and was told the Springvalley location shouldnt have turned me away and made me an appointment right then and there.I walked back into the planned parenthood and they turned a couple away trying to receive a pregnancy test. At this point it was a nurse turning people away not the receptionist. The nurse was upset I had been able to make an appointment for this location and said I was cutting into other peoples time. She was incredibly rude and not a good first impression nor the type of attitude anybody working with patients should have.I hope they see this review and take a better look at their staffing and communication amongst branches. Im sure this was inconvenient for many people, I was just lucky to be able to get an appointment the second I called.Ill be making an edit to include the nurses name so she can take a look at her attitude when interacting with people. When I walked to the waiting room at this location, there were only two people waiting. For a branch turning away patients and saying they are over booked this is hard to believe. I honestly think the nursing staff here just didnt want to deal with anybody but I could be wrong and this could just be an assumption made off the interaction I had with said nursing staff.

I repeatedly had to call and wait on hold for 20+ minutes and ask if my records had been sent to my OBGYN provider, and 6 weeks later, was told they never even received my release of information via mail. Impossible to get ahold of someone by phone when you work 9-5 Monday through Friday and only have a half hour lunch break to call. I had to drive an hour out of my way to go sign a release in person on a Saturday! I had a fantastic experience with Planned Parenthood in Albany, NY, but this is pretty outrageously bad service for Planned Parenthood. I love the organization, but am amazed at how bad my experience at this location was. I will go to a different location from now on.

Thank you for all the help! The front desk people are not rude but they are not the coziest people either (if that makes sense). Everyone else in the back has always be super nice and friendly!
