Visited urgent care on 9/22. I have been to this location before and the service was subpar but this time it was awful. The receptionist could not find my information in the system with my insurance so she put my card on file, something that has never happened before. Secondly when it was time to see the assistant she was very nice and professional but the nurse practitioner was another story. I didn’t get her name but she was an African woman who totally disregarded my visual symptoms and did not listen to me or help me at all. I will not recommend going to this urgent care center EVER!!!
I went to Northwell Health urgent care and I had to wait for a little while but the staff there was awesome. The only thing I was not happy with was they had one Dr. Patricia there and she was working hard to take care the patients but she was phenomenal. Kudos to Dr. Patricia.
I had a good experience. Wait time was not long (about 20 minutes). My medical issue was properly addressed and prescription was sent to my pharmacy. The staff was pleasant. Nurse practitioner was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant.
I was very pleased with my experience at GoHealth, I scheduled an appointment online and was seen in a timely fashion. The office was clean, temperature appropriate and there were beverages on hand. They provide multiple services and the staff was very courteous and professional.
Very clean facility. Was seen immediately. Had a Sunday 9:15 appt. and was seen by 9. The doctor was thorough and I was accurately diagnosed. Visit was completed with ½ hour. Friendly and professional staff.
This has got to be the ABSOLUTE WORST medical visit I’ve ever had. I arrived at this location on Sunday 9/9 at 3pm. I was told to check in at the kiosk and have seat, I completed my check in on my phone maybe around 3:10. I got called to the front desk to complete the registration I did on my phone around 4:05. This is almost a hour later with no communication whatsoever. I sat down for another 30min until I was randomly told to go to exam room two( was not led to the room I had to figure out where room 2 was on my own). Then I was seen by the provider another horrible point in the visit, it was as if I was arguing with someone about the symptoms that I was feeling(unreal). I was told my meds would be sent to my pharmacy and I can go get them. Went to my pharmacy and nothing was ever called in. I called the location about 10x no answer. I was very sick so I could not travel back to the office. The next day 9/10 I called the office 5x NO ANSWER! Walked in, there’s a guy yawning at the front desk and empty waiting room ( not sure why the phone is going unanswered). The receptionist tells me he sent over my medication again. I give it some time and then I go to my pharmacy still nothing. Again super sick!!! I’ve been calling this location for the past TWO hours and still no answer. I even called another location they transferred me and still no answer. I will NEVER recommend or return back to this organization. I will be heading over to CityMD for care because clearly GO Health does not care about the quality of care they are giving their patients. There was no communication, no flow, staff seems lost. I don’t understand what is happening at this location but management needs to get it together. It should not be 24hrs after my initial visit, a walk-in and several unanswered phone calls and still my medication has not been sent. I would hope that someone in operations reads this review and takes the opportunity to go into this location and figure out why there is so many deficiencies. I suggest to make sure the staff does not have the FD phones on DND, basic front desk training, greeting and welcoming patients and how to communicate wait times or any other delays. My provider Patricia was not great either, some bedside manner training would be great. Overall if I could give a 0 for this horrible patient experience I would! And even at the end of this review I still do not have my medication and no one has answered the phone. A literal joke!!!Adding:I spoke to a receptionist later that night I wish I would’ve gotten her name but she was the only courteous staff member I encountered through this whole experience. She made sure a provider gave me a call and my meds were sent to the pharmacy. She even gave me a follow up phone call. I truly wish I would’ve got her name because she provided excellent patient care! I still will never return but she deserves acknowledgment for going above and beyond to make sure I received the care I should’ve received from the beginning. (She was on shift Monday 9/9 and gave me a follow up call at 7:47pm she stated she was the only one on shift) Thank you to her I truly appreciate it and I am starting to feel much better!My advice to Ops, train (including management who never gave me a call) and staff your centers appropriately so that your staff is not overwhelmed and burned out because that then trickles down to the patients and that is not fair to us. Please discuss this and come up with solutions and implement no workflow processes so that your patients can receive better patient care and your staff can thrive better in a positive environment! The staff from the minute I entered the center.I dont have words to express how grateful I am that provider Patricia Alabre chose Medicine as her professionHer bedside manner is top notch top 100.Overall shes one of the best PA I have dealt with.Her attention to details and the way she eases your fears I can only say she is phenomenal.
Worked well removing my two year old daughter tooth went all out to cater to her needs taking their time and at the end she was happy especially after receiving her prize for doing an amazing job
The check-in was easy and the receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming! I didnt have to wait long before the doctor saw me. Im so glad for Urgent Care, because if I would have gone to a hospital emergency room, I would have waited for hours.
I saved my daughters spot online for 12:36 pm today 9/11/24 we were put in the room at about 1:10-1:15 ish the woman came in triaged my daughter did the strep culture and left I received the results in my email at 127 then sat there for 45 mins while all the staff was laughing and talking about nothing. I walked out to the main desk asked for a letter for school a different woman then said I was just coming to check your daughter a whole 45 mins later, waiting area filled with patients waiting to be seen. Beyond aggravated because me n my daughter isn’t feeling well and had to sit there while they accomplished nothing I got the papers and left the staff there today on 9/11 was very unprofessional
Medical Assistant that attended to me was very unprofessional and rude. The young lady had an attitude for no reason, she removed her gloves and didn’t even take the time out to properly dispose of it, I pointed it out to her she hissed her tooth and left the exam room, horrible experience. Am just hoping she doesn’t have access to my info because she lacks integrity
Had an appointment scheduled, even arrived early just to get skipped and then never got seen. Stayed for an hr past my appointment to still not get seen so we just left.
I have visited this location before and what i experienced today with the staff I’ve never had to do this type of bs….the staff on Sunday is terrible and has no patience not even for a 2yr old child …..why do i need to lap my leg around my 2 yr old to get her ears examined without there being a second option…. Never had to do this type of stuff and she’s had an ear examination before…the staff is terrible and I hope someone looks into this location….DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE‼️
I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Once I registered I believe I was seen within 10 to 15 mins. Altogether I was there for about 45 min. or less. Everyone was very professional.
This location is the ABSOLUTE WORST.Front desk lady Sheryl is always extremely rude. I am the first on board had no an appointment no one else waiting and was not called into room until 7:05pm and JALANTA came in to do vitals. I had a 6:45 appointment without any communication. P.a. Darrel came in to do assessment and was very pleasant as the moa. The rating I gi e is strictly because the front desk is very rude and always has an attitude.

I was told by another northunwell facility that the clinic does ultrasounds. Before Im spoken to, I overhear from a closed booth door in the lobby shes not paying me do Im denying her this service. Baby, I pay no one. Youre not an employee of my company, and you have not loaned me money. Tell me why Id be paying you? Am I your ceo? Take it up with him. I have good insurance so my bills are paid

They even called to check in my daughter to see how she was doing . They are open 7 days a week next to Stop & Shop Supermarket & mini strip mall on Merrick Blvd & Springfield Blvd

We scheduled an appointment no wait time. In fairness the office was empty to my understanding it does get very busy so booking the save your spot option is valid. Office is very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Love the option to upload insurance and ID when scheduling appointments online

This site does not do Lab work! Called ahead only to be greeted by a automated message stating walk ins are welcomed. Once there I had to find the next nearest northwell lab
What I enjoyed most was being able to make a save the spot & actually adhering to that time. The staff including person at the front desk, security, Certified Nurse Assistant and Nurse Practitioner are very welcoming and proficient. The Nurse Practitioner addressed all my concerns & performed an excellent examination.
This urgent care was one of the few that were open on New Years day. As I entered and signed into the kiosk I was told after I signed in that they werent taking anymore walkins. I stated to the staff that I didnt have a problem waiting. I arrived before 2 and they closed at 5 I just needed medical attention for the cold symptoms that Ive been experiencing. As I waited in the lobby the armed officer on site engaged in communication with me advising that I might not be seen due to the high volume of appointments booked online and over the phone meanwhile there were only 10 people in the waiting area. So I asked after all of the people in the waiting area are seen would they be able to see me if the appointments that are booked doesnt show he said to me that I can wait, but he doesnt want it to turn into something if Im not seen I said turn into what. And he also proceeded to say that because its private they have the right to turn people away and refuse care especially if theyre uncomfortable with seeing them. So at this point Im questioning what he meant by that. After our exchange he took my name and DOB and said that the staff now feels uncomfortable with me in the establishment and i should wait outside and they will call me when theyre ready if they are able to see me which made no sense. So I said to the armed guard on-site that Im uncomfortable waiting outside and Ill continue to wait where Im seated which was out of view from the staff and providers. He said that the next step was to call the police. The armed guard called the cops on me all because I was in need of medical attention I dialed 911 as a counter action to file a complaint on my behalf because I was sitting patiently as a walk-in with hopes of being seen. At this point Im in tears because I really couldnt believe my new year started off this way. The police eventually arrived without even filing a report for the nonsense escalated by a gaurd onsite. My views are....1. Being that it was new years day and the staff probably wanted to go home in a timely manner all of the actions done to me was to act as a deterrent so I wouldnt want to wait. Because my feelings are that the staff on duty held up the flow of the appointments so no further patients can register to be seen online, which possibly delayed the care of the 10 people in the lobby.The Reason why Im saying this is because after law enforcement was called by the armed guard and myself, the provider that was on duty proceeded to exclaim That Im welcome to wait but due to the appointments booked online they all have to be seen first and they all have a 20 minute grace period and then they could possibly see me but if its before 5. Never have I ever seen an establishment honor online appointments who all probably ended up as no shows. Not to mention this logic doesnt make any sense because at the end of the day Healthcare is a business and to turn away people who show up to the facility on the contigent of booked appointents sounds like a lot of revenue was lost today.2. Its always something with this location. My mom had an issue with a test that needed to be done for my daughter. She showed up with the order/prescription but the staff didnt or couldnt do the test so they were turned away. I send family and friends there to have blood work simple labs CMP, CBCs, they dont do that either. Which sparks the question what do they do, or do they pick and choose what days they wanna work.In conclusion, my experience is never good when i visit this establishment, but todays experience reached an all time low, to be treated like a criminal as a sick patient is horrendous. If i can give this place a negative 0 I would. Senior management and upper leadership should really have a sit-down, meeting, or sensativity training with the staff at this location to make the necessary improvements. And just an FYI I will be sending a formal complaint to the leaders of Go Heath
Was treated for plantar fasciitis. Dr and staff were very friendly. I waited about an hour before I was seen. Received a shot for the pain and given instructions to see a foot doctor, get special socks for the condition and what over the counter medication to take. Overall service was excellenty
I brought my special needs adult brother here for a Covid PCR test on 12/26. I was told the results would be ready in 24 hours. It is 12/28 and I have left 4 voicemail messages and there has been no response or results provided to us. I am aware that service provision is relative, however the professionalism at this particular facility is wanting and does not align with the broader Northwell Health service standard.
First time I took my 2 year old son here for urgent care because his health care provider had no walk- in appointments available, it was the worst experience ever especially after coming home and doing my own research of the diagnoses that the nurse practitioner gave my son, she said he had scarlet fever in his mouth,and that he did not need any antibiotics. just keep giving him medication for the fever, after doing my research my son did need antibiotics. Scarlet fever is treated as if it was strep throat. she did test him for strep throat and it was negative, but then again, scarlet fever is treated as if it was strep throat and given antibiotics for those with symptoms like my son has, no sleep over two nights, no eating and no drinking . It’s best to go to an emergency room. This place is only good if you’re looking for a doctors note . There’s nothing urgent about this please even in the waiting room. I was number one on the screen to be called and three patients where called before my son. Also, the receptionist is never sitting in the front she sits in the front for 10 minutes goes to the back stays there Then comes back takes another patient and goes to the back again. And she was also on her phone on her earbuds. And also I tried to use the patient portal for my son and it did not work at all, the link that they emailed to me comes out as an error and there’s no one to help you.
The music in the waiting room was a bit too loud and not soothing for a place where people don’t feel well other than that it was great.
The wait time was descent. The staff was efficient and sweet. Would definitely recommend going here. I was informed that they are equipped to handle any concerns when coming to pain or illness. For someone as myself this would be much more convenient for me when i am having a heavy fibromyalgia flare than going to the ER. I dont think they have x-ray equipment there just as a heads up. I took my 3 year old for a visit since he had some discharge from his ear and was complaining of pain. We schedule our appointment online and provided all information to save our spot and still waited 2hrs. My child was examine and sent home no issue of infection. My wife followed with next day appointment with PCP who identified both ears were infected and said it couldnt be missed.
Great, respectful, and out quickly. The friendly, respect, and professional way I was treated. My privacy was maintained throughout my treatment. The facility is very clean and odorfree.

These people charged me $610 for a visit although I have health insurance. All is did was see the doctor because my throat was hurting. When I went in and ask for an itemized print of what was done and the price to see the doctor. To see the doctor without insurance is $120 and a strep test is $25 that I never did. How is all that $610.Then they say its billing who did it but billing also isnt claiming it.How can a test be conducted without a result given not a positive or negative no inconclusive just test done and the name of the person who conducted the test.What is the reason for the $620.. My advice do not visit this office and if you do please be so careful to record all that is done and to top it off I was never even prescribed any medication.

The whole experience was excellent. I made an appt. and on New Years day I didnt wait long at all. The staff and Dr. was wonderful.
They have the worst service and are very unprofessional. First, after signing in I took my ID to the lady behind the desk, she told me to have a seat she would call me. People that came in after me were seen and called before me. I had to go back to her and ask whats going on. Then she checked my insurance and finally sent me to a room after sitting there for 1hr. After explaining to the nurse my problem and reason for my visit, she tells me its workers comp. I told her it wasnt. She leaves the room and goes out and discusses me with the doctor very loudly. I heard everything from where I was in the closed room. Then she comes back so I had to reexplain my story to her 3 times before she went and got the office manager. He comes in and says I keep changing my story. I told him I dont need any medication or anything just a note to be excused from work because Im in excruciating pain. He then tells me the insurance will think its workers comp and I will have to pay out of pocket. I reexplained it to him again and told him I told you whats going on so it shouldnt be mistaken for a work related injury because its not. He then leaves the room and discusses me with the doctor. I was in the room for 50 mins. Then he comes back again to tell me the doctor will see you. Ive never been treated in this manner or called a liar by any health care professional. If I could give negative stars I would.

Horrible!! If you want quality care do not go to this urgent care. My 80 year old father went there because he could not put any pressure on foot. Sent him back and forth over two days with no diagnosis or results. Called on cell phone put on eternal hold , called on other line from my office phone while still on hold on cell phone and heard staff in background say its that same annoying daughter again, dont answer phone. UNACCEPTABLE!! If it was your loved one you would be annoying to!
Clean, quick, friendly staff that makes you feel comfortable even the doctors. Gives through-roe check up. This urgent care is always consistently great service. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. The doctors do an amazing job at making you feel reassured that everything will be ok. And when we are sick truly that is all we want is reassurance that what we came in for won’t take our lives and Northwell staff dose an amazing job with that. They are definitely representing the brand is the best ways possible. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME. The staff were extremely (CCP) courteous, caring and professional. They were also knowledgeable about their job. The registration technology process was a smooth transition. Overall, though it was the eve of a major holiday (Christmas), the staff were more concerned about the services that they are providing to the patients than getting home. I highly recommend GoHealth NY.

The staff was friendly and efficient. I was seen pretty much right away. I would just suggest for new patients with 8am appointments dont show up 15 minutes early as the website suggests because you wont get in until 8am.

Oh my. Ive never seen such rude & shabby service before until I got here. The two receptionists at the front are so ruuuudddeeee. I went in and greeted them. They barely answered. They sent me to a kiosk to sign in. I took a seat and then one of the receptionists loudly called my name and asked the reason for my visit, which was private I believe and should not be hollered out. I walked up to her and quietly stated my symptoms. I sat back down and my phone beeped. It was a text encouraging me to type in some additional details. While doing this I realized that most of my info. was already in with the exception of the correct insurance number. I went to the counter to inform the two receptionists and they blatantly ignored me. One of them was on the computer and the other was on YouTube on her purple phone. The one on the computer laughed out loud as if to say lets continue to ignore her. Tell me about customer service. Im telling you, its only certain in certain neighborhoods that they can get away with this. I gave a 1 star because the Dr. was the opposite. She was accommodating.
Walk in at 4:40pm with deep tissue finger cut that would not stop bleeding. I just needed my finger to be assesed an may have needed some glue and tape to seal the wound. I checked in at the ipad. The front desk receptionist asked me what i needed , I brielfy explained i cut myself and its bleeding alot. She went to talk to the clinical staff, who informed her they are not taking anymore patients(it was 4:45pm) and I must go to the lynbrook location 20mins up the road, they are open until 12am. URGENT CARE is for urgent needs and to avoid ER admissions. This location should not be turning patients away 15mins prior to closing. My situations wouldnt have taken 10mins. This staff here doesnt want to serve our community. I will be reporting this location to the state.

I came to the Northwell health urgent care center in Springfield Gardens. After seeing someone for my son’s eye, I was told that the eye drop medication for my son’s pink eye would be sent to the pharmacy. The pharmacy never got the prescription. How negligent is this office? I went there yesterday. They gave me a nurse who could not detect the pink eye. So, I came back only to be told that I had to make another appointment.I am livid at how this practice can come to a community and be a disservice to the people that live there. I had to pay for two visits. They could not just look at my son’s eye to give me a simple prescription to rid him of the pink eye. Not only that, the prescription was never sent.I do not suggest that anyone should waste their time coming to this urgent care center.
The line was long but thats every where. Once inside they are nice. They are doing the best the can in these difficult time. People just have to understand and work with them. They are human beings too. Its no ones fault why this virus is raging
Disappointed with the services provided. How do you send a patient on their way without a summary of their visit or instruction on how to take the medication prescribed? Ill continue to drive out a little further to the Lynbrook location for future treatment when necessary in the future.
Everyone listened to my issues. They explained everything to me and worked with me to develop a plan. I register and booked the appointment on line. It was easy. This location had plenty parking.
I went in today due to shoulder pain. The receptionist told me “there’s nothing we can do for you” her words exactly. She said whoever is there would see me and send me to the ER because the technician is not in. I asked if someone else can see me and at least give me a referral so that I can get an x-ray done else where. Her response was that they don’t do referrals. She seem very annoyed but that has nothing to do with me. If you don’t like your job get a new one, no one told you to be sitting there with an attitude when people are coming in for help
While awaiting my turn to see the doctor I started feeling dizzy like I was going to pass out. The medical assistant found a bed for me to lay down. I was so appreciative for the care I shown.
Very professional facility in both appearance, patient/doctor interactions including diagnosis and recommended treatment plan. Also seen in a very timely manner. I just recommended on a local social site as a good place for Covind PCR testing. Very positive experience overall.

Before going here I’ve read a few reviews and one customer said that they prescription never makes it to the pharmacy and now I’m having that same problem. How can a doctor see you put never send your prescription to the pharmacy? This is crazy and the worst urgent care I’ve ever been to.
Overall Northwell has become the worst place to go. I was an admirer before but now the staff are rude and Ive visited a couple of the locations. The one on sunrise highway and the one at Springfield blvd. You go in and they have no walk in availability. Everything seems to be reserved for covid testing only. We as humans do have other issues.i prefer CityMD now. Its easy with no hassel.

This place does not even deserve 1 star. My niece and I went there for a covid test. We got there at 8:30am stood on line for 2 hours just to go log into the system and they told us we will get a text to come back. No one texted us. When we went back at 4:30 they was very rude and told us they wasnt taking anymore people. Very unprofessional.

It was not a long wait. Very professional and kind staff. Felt comfortable and in capable hands.
Took my grandmother there for a test. The wait time was good. The staff is efficient and courteous and overall it was a positive.

Came in with obvious pink eye and sinus infection. They did not give me anything to help. Told me rest and now I have pink eye in both my eyes.

I’m highly disgusted with this place I went here because I’m pregnant and I was feeling woozy throughout the day they told me they do not take walk ins and the lady at the front desk was soooooo rude and the security at the door with dreads was even worse I will not recommend this urgent care to anyone very unprofessional and rude

I was seen and diagnosed with COVID on had the call the call center 18x for a prescription error to no avail. As an employee, with this health system for almost 2 decades, I am ashamed that this urgent care is an example of Northwell. These actions are in complete violation of our culture of care and standards of health
Friendly PA that understood how to make my son who has autism VERY comfortable. Going to see doctors is hard for him.
The doctor i saw helped to give me a proper diagnosis and l can say she did a well because l got over the symptoms in a couple of days was looking at other places but so very happy that l decided to move forward with going to this place.
