David Michael Herzog, MD

I went to Dr. Herzog for the first time last week. I had seen another gynecologist who retired and hadn’t been to one in a while and asked my friend for a recommendation. She recommended Dr. Herzog since he is her doctor. He was absolutely wonderful and has an amazing bedside manner, and is so kind and very thoughtful. I was comfortable with him immediately and would recommend him to anyone. His right hand woman Elaine is also wonderful.

Dr. Herzog delivered both of my children and took such amazing care of my wife, who is a Type 1 diabetic. Our kids are 16 & 15 years old now, and looking back at both pregnancies, my wife and I were blessed to have such a brilliant doctor like Dr. Dave Herzog bring our kids into the world. He is also one of the nicest people you could possibly meet. Proud to call him a friend!!

Dr.Herzog is one of the best and friendliest doctor i ever meet in my life. I just had a surgery done,and he made me feel very comfortable and the entire process was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Herzog has been my doctor for 29 years, he has shown me the utmost professionalism, expertise and doctor hospitality. His medical advice and treatment is always on point. I have complete confidence when I leave his office that I am receiving a wise and trustworthy consult.

Let me begin by saying before I went to Dr. Herzog I had not seen a gyno in 7 years. Dr. Herzog performed a total hysterectomy on me 12 weeks ago due to a huge Fibroid. He thankfully was able to do it robotically without cutting me . I can’t express enough how great of a Dr he is! He’s is very thorough, very compassionate, and great at what he does! Highly recommend him !! Oh and he is funny as well 😊

I just had surgery from him and I’ve had several with him. Been with him for about 20yearsWhat an amazing man and team. I truly adore him. He makes me laugh from beginning to end. He holds my hand and my favorite part he asked what music I liked and it was playing when I got into operating room. What a wonderful genuine man!!!There needs to be so many more people like him in the medical field

Discover the lump in my breast, call the office to get a script for mammography. They wouldn’t give it to me. They said I had to come in. I’m handicap and it was hard for me to get there , I got a script from my primary . and yes I have breast cancer going for surgery tomorrow. The people at the front desk need better training .Love the Dr. Herzog been a patient of his for 20 years not anymore.

I have been a patient of Dr. Herzog for over 20 years and he is by far the best OBGYN. His bedside manner is relaxed and calming, yet he explains everything in detail. He doesnt rush your office visit and makes sure you understand and ask all questions before he moves on to his next patient.He is also very in tune with his staff and thats what makes going to his office a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Doctor David Herzog is my doctor for many years. He delivered my 3 children and I’ve always loved his whole demeanor! Today I had a procedure done, his bed side manor was the upmost, I’m talking top tier, comforting, compassionate and just simply the Best!!Thank you

Dr. Herzog is professional with a wonderful bedside manner he cares for his patients like he would his own family. His staff is also very professional and friendly. Dr. David Herzog is the best doctor I ever had, he is very kind and gentle. He has terrific bed side manners and is always concerned about your well being. He is very dependable and will offer his help with anything he can. Over the years he has recommended me to several great doctors in other fields. Every time I have my routine exam, he always jokes around and makes me laugh. He performed several successful surgeries on me and always made me feel comfortable by talking to me, playing his music and making me feel at ease. Once during my pre-testing, I had an irregular EKG, he quickly had one of the top cardiologists come to pre-testing to check me, and due to his findings, my surgery was postponed to take care of another critical matter. He had his office call me several times that week to check up on me and had them send me a beautiful gift basket to cheer me up, which I thought was extremely thoughtful. He also delivered several of my nephews and most of the women in my family go to him. I have always highly recommended him and always will.

Dr. Herzog delivered me back in ‘96 and my mother still sees him. My sister and I go to him as well. I’ve seen other OBGYN’s I have PCOS and he is compassionate, he listens you and makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him. The receptionist was super nice and his assistant Jisha, who I hope I spelled that right, was great! She was funny, down to earth and made you feel important! Really makes a difference when all the staff is so great! Thank you guys !

Dr Herzog performed a total hysterectomy on me in March 2016. Today I had a colonoscopy and the Dr who did it told me that whoever did my hysterectomy is amazing. Absolutely no scar tissue! Dr Herzog is an wonderful surgeon!

After 43 years, with the same female OB/GYN, who delivered my daughter retired, I had to find a new doctor. Dr. Herzog came highly recommended by several people. I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the way Dr. Herzog put me at ease and took his time with me to get all of my medical history. Also want to note, the kindness and professionalism of his staff. Which is not always the case in a doctors office.

Dr. Herzog is the most attentive, knowledgeable and thorough physician that one could ask for as a patient. I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome of my surgery and will recommend him whenever possible.

I have been going to Dr Herzog for over 20 years and wouldnt go anywhere else! The office staff is so nice as well. Dr Herzog is caring, professional and really cares about his patients. I hope hes in practice for another 20.

My daughter sees him and she had a certain surgery. While on the surgery he went the extra mile and found somethinghe isnt a doctor for this but he immediately called someone he valued and asked that doctor to call me her mom. A long story short he saved her life in so many ways. He is an OOUTSTANDING Doctor!!!!!

Dr Hertzog is the best doctor on the island. Hes the most honest sincere man I know. He became family. He has been delivering children in my family for 31 years now and we all love him that we can squeeze him. Your always our number 1 n dont listen unless its helpful suggestions but all that other stuff. Turn up your rock doc. We no listen to that. We only deliver mozzarella babies. Xoxo

Herzog delivered both my boys and helped me a great deal. My oldest is 13yrs old and I am still his patient. I recommend him to anyone.

I had been going to Dr Herzog since I was 15 years old. Loved them to death. Dr Kokinakis was a great Dr in 2004 when he delivered my first son, then Dr Miller was also great when she delivered my second son in 2007 and to be completely honest, I dont kno what happened after that. In 2013 I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby made an appt and got right in. No problem. So about in my 4th month I started getting the most unbearable pain ever in the middle of my torso. I went emergency to L&D n they took my blood work and did sonogram. Was told it wasnt my gallbladder and I just had indegestion. They discharged me n eventually about 2 weeks later was in the same pain. Was seen my dr mattern n again told me it was indegestion n I was dehydrated not drinking enough water. They discharged me once again. I was in and out of L&D close to 15 times due to the same exact pain before I ended up giving birth. When I would go they would tell me (including dr herzog himself) that the baby was getting too big n pushing up on my organs and that once I gave birth the pain would go away. Nov 24th Dr campanella ended up giving me a c section. I hadnt got the pain back so I was like ok maybe that was it. Got discharged with the baby nov 27th and was right back in the hospital the next night. And guess what? I ended up having colitis plus C-diff. I had it my entire pregnancy!!!!! N I researched n found that it is fatal if not taken care of. All they had to do was a stool sample to find this out. Ended up in the hospital for 6 more days after having my newborn. Also, when I was in delivery I asked dr campinella if he could do my tubal ligation since I had 3 children already n he told me no. I just had to go n get it done separately smh. Unbelievable. Thank you dr herzog & associates! I would never go back there nor recommend anyone else too. Thank God me n my baby ended up being ok n I was able to treat it. Now I go to a new Dr and I couldnt b happier.

Based on my experience & opinion I would not recomend Dr Herzog , the office wait is over 2-3 hours most of the time , i was told that my surgury was not able to be done laprascoptic by Dr Herzog . He only offered me two choices ( robotic or sliced open) He said I had no other choices but what he was able to do , I was scheduled and than rescheduled with him for surgury , so lucky me I went for a second opinion in between the time period & guess what I had my laprascopic procedure ( Better recovery & les scaring ) done with a professional surgeon I was recommended to :)

The receptionists in this place are all rude and on a power trip. The office requires to make a copy of your ID & insurance card & sign papers Every. Single. Visit. Even if you’re literally coming two weeks later to discuss lab results. I didn’t have my insurance card on me, they wouldn’t see me. Then told me ok fine we’ll see you. Asked for my copay, i asked them to please bill me & they were like nope we can’t sorry you can’t be seen. I’m not there to dilly dally, I have good insurance, i am concerned for my health, but they have zero compassion. Not going back there again.

Out standing gynecologist I really loved him when I lived in Staten Island but now I live in Florida and I do miss him dearly he was so curious, professional and funny and just a wonderful doctor to look forward to seeing I highly recommend him to anyone and just to let him know I miss him very much and if hes ever in Florida reach out to me I would love to see him. Miss the rock music in his exam rooms.

I cant put in words how grateful I am for Dr. Herzog and his staff. they are so kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in each and every appointment. I cannot recommend this office enough... thank you guys, youre all so wonderful!

The assistants are so rude they do not make you feel comfortable whatsoever you are supposed to make your patients feel the most comfortable especially at this kind of dr appointment, they did not explain anything which leads to confusion, I would not recommend this place there are way better places on the island to go to.

They book your appointment when you get there, you have to wait 2 hours. And its not an isolated incident, it is EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Additionally, Mary puts you on hold for 20 minutes and gives you serious attitude. Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt OUR time just as valuable as the doctors? Also, they act as if theyre doing us a favor, as if THEY are paying US. Its unreal!!!

Dr. Herzog is the best gyno I have ever been to. His staff are all really nice and I didnt have to wait very long to be seen.
