Went on a Sunday in the middle of the day because I had a minor cut that wouldnt stop bleeding, and I needed stitches. The staff were great here! They checked out the cut right away and had the doctor look at it before checking me in which I appreciated. I was in and out of the clinic in about one hour with the cut cleaned and stitched up. The office staff were all super friendly and helpful and Dr. Steve was great! He kept me laughing and distracted the entire time, which was super helpful during the anesthetic shot he had to give me near the cut. I would recommend going here.
This place cares WAY MORE about money than your health!!! BEWARE! Disputed a charge because they charged the wrong card ON THE WRONG DAY (they said they would charge on 8/29 and instead it was 8/26), and then I got hit with a $100 chargeback fee from Helix. Thankfully, I will not be paying this as my credit card company is taking care of it. Their customer service is terrible! Some of the worst I’ve ever received. I’ve seen plenty of pizza shops with more competent customer service than what the professionals at Helix Medical provided. First problem is they were initially impossible to get in touch with. After being instructed by an employee, I emailed multiple times trying to switch the card on file and to this day have not received a response. The phone calls are useless as well. Out of nowhere I received a notification that I had a balance close to $300 despite not visiting for months. I wasted hours on the phone getting passed around to people who did not give me an answer to my problem but were more than happy to transfer me to ANOTHER PERSON WHO COULDN’T HELP! It took upwards of 6 hours to get an answer and it came in the form of an email.Needless to say, I’ll never be returning to any of Helix medical’s offices. This place may have diagnosed my illness at the time, but I might as well have stayed home as this waste of time and headache caused by the incompetence of Helix made me feel sick all over again.
Don’t waste your time, go to Cleveland clinic! Yesterday I tried to make an appointment online but something was wrong with the website so I went into the clinic but She said they couldn’t see me because they were overbooked. I went home and scheduled an appointment for 9:15 AM today, and took the morning off work to do it. When I arrived for my appointment, the lady at the front desk told me that they could not honor my appointment because they were busy with walk-ins. I asked her if that was reasonable and she shrugged her shoulders and said “not my rules! “ Then she said that appointments are just estimates and it could be up to two hours before they could see me or more. I explained to her that I took time off work to come in and she shrugged her shoulders again. It was obvious that she couldn’t care less about my situation! Terrible customer service, I won’t be back! Also, If you want to laugh a little, take a look at their auto replying to their negative Reviews!
Went to the Stuart location after making an appt. I was taken in within 10 mins of arriving. I saw Stephen the PA. What a wonderful and pleasant guy! He was thorough, honest and saved me from having unnecessary radiological testing. He really made my visit there actually enjoyable! Keep up the good work Stephen!!
First time here. Staff was friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour even with only one doctor available at the time. Dr Stephen was great. Friendly staff and clean environment. I usually wait to go to my PCP but now that I have had the Helix experience, they will see more of me when my PCP isn’t available.
I highly recommend Helix and their staff for young, old and elderly. Me and my family have been there numerous times and I can honestly say that they truly care about their patients and take the time they need with you without rushing you in and out.
My visit was very efficient. I got in quickly and was seen almost immediately. Received my diagnosis and prescription and was on my way. Was very impressed with staff and facility.
Do not do the virtual care! I waited over 24 hours and no response. To get a med refill. I have yet to hear from a Dr a month later! I went with another company to get my meds.. but I recieve a bill in the mail every single day for $98! I called to talk to someone but they dont resolve problems over the phone? I got a voice-mail with an email address!! Really? You have that many complaints? This is medical malpractice Because there is a note in my file from the MD but no contact with an actual MD. Also a referral...That no one called...text...emailed to let me know about? Nothing. No contact. I have no problem contacting the medical board but Im giving you a chance to fix this!
My son was seen today. The front desk ladies were super helpful and courteous. The nurse we saw was efficient and helpful. He saw Dr Zinnanti and he was awesome with my son, knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what was wrong. Thank you all. It was a Great experience!!
Got lucky since I was the only one in the waiting room! Very helpful/ friendly gal at the desk. Dr (Pa? George) was very nice also. Everyone helpful and calm.
I was very impressed with the service that I received. The NP was very informative, smart, kind and caring. I can tell that she enjoys her work. And the MA who wants to become a doctor was very good at his job. You will succeed young man. The two ladies at the desk were very kind and welcomes everyone who comes through the door with a warm greeting. Thanks for your service. Janice Bartley
I loved the staff and felt very comfortable. I was told I had diverticulitis and prescribed antibiotics. A week later I was worse and in the ER with IV fluid and a cat scan. I never had diverticulitis and am now going through testing to find the true cause of my stomach pain and nausea.
Staff was very friendly from the receptionist, to the Nurses and the doctors. Very professional. I was able to get in fairly quick. I had X-rays, blood work and EKG and was out of there in about an hour.
Dr. Stephen and his staff turned an unfortunate experience for me into a pleasant one. I went in with a stab wound to the palm of my hand and in so much pain and left with a couple stitches and happy. I even had my daughter and 4 year old grandson with me and everyone was so nice to us and made us feel like we were family. I come to this urgent care whenever I need to see a doctor even though I have a primary care physician, I prefer to come to this urgent care The staff is always courteous and professional.
A terrific facility and experience. From reception through treatment, the staff was courteous, professional and prompt. I can’t say enough good things about Leo who took good care of me.He took the time to explain things to me and was thorough in his treatment of my clogged ears.Needless to say I was hearing much better when I left than when I walked in. PA Zinnanti was also great, he came into the room in a timely manner, examined my ears and let me know that all was good and I was free to leave.
Everyone is no nice, and knowledgeable. Doctor was so wonderful with all the information that I needed. They all went over and beyond checking all possibilities as to what my diagnosis was. Love, love this urgent care facility.
They were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly when I came in. Also very helpful. Would go there any time. Thank you.😊
I Like this placeOn Wednesday July 12 I was there I injured both of my knees and shins. I was in and out of there in an hourThey are quick, nice folksGotten x-rays, cleaned up my wounds, and patched me up goodNothing broken luckily but THANK YOU Helix Doctors and nurses
I am very appreciative to the team at Helix for an outstanding job the day I walked in for care! They were very kind and helpful. I am so grateful for the doctor and the aggressiveness she showed towards the way I was feeling and got me back to work the next day. Great team! Thank you!
Great facility with awesome staff! Great doctors. Great place to go if you cant see your Primary physician. I highly recommend Helix Urgent Care!
I am currently dealing with a dispute with a collection agency for charges over 5 years ago, due to accounting errors on their part. years ago, I was told via email I would be charged my final bill of $110.00, and that I would be provided with a receipt after. I was charged exactly $55. I was never provided a receipt. I am not sure how I missed their mistake, but I did. For over 5 years I never received a call/text/email/mail from HELIX Urgent Care Stuart up until 3 mos ago, when they stated via email and automated call that I owed them over $250 in debt. I also received a automated email from I.C. System, INC stating I owed them the same amount. Naturally I called the office to speak with accounting to sort it out, as I was very confused on where this came from. They REFUSED to speak with me, and gave me the info for the debt collection agency the debt was now due to. I asked for a manager to call me back, as I was requesting my medical records as well as the invoices showing where and how I owed them he money, and also an explanation as to why I was just now getting notice. Radio silence. After my own investigation and getting into my patient portal, I see that they charged me half of my final balance and have been racking up late fees ever since for YEARS on my account. This is complete FRAUD. I have now disputed it with I.C. systems. I am still getting email and phone requests from helix that I owe them the $, even though the debt is supposedly with the debt collection agency. I am taking this to the FL DA and am now opening an investigation. I have yet to get a call back from Helix or the debt collection agency. Reported to BBB.
Ive been to this Helix Urgent Care center on many occasions. This was the best visit ever! Greeted promptly and politely by the receptionist, and thankfully (was a quiet time) was seen almost immediately. Vitals assistant was very cordial and efficient, and moved me to another room quickly. Dr. Amanda Pruett was the nicest urgent care doctor Ive ever encountered. Instead of feeling like the next patient in a long list of patients to be seen for the day, she was exceptionally pleasant and caring - and I felt like I was being treated by a long-time family physician in a private practice. Exceptional patient care this visit and the entire team should be commended!
Very disappointed, I came in with pain in my abdomen, Dr. recommended a CT scan, got it done. Waited patiently for Dr. to call me to discuss results. Never happened, called in and lady told me to print out my results, and come in to see another Dr. today. Acted like the ordering physician doesn’t get the results sent to them and doesn’t call you ever and that just made me feel like a dollar sign and that there is no level of care or concern at this facility. $350 of self pay later and I have no diagnosis, care plan or treatment. She wouldn’t even have the doctor call me when she returned or let me email my summary. Just a bottle of ibuprofen and a bunch of pictures of my insides. Thanks for nothing.
Dont trust this place. They quote you one price on the phone, and then when you get there, they tell you the person that you talked to didnt know what they say its going to be two and a half times what they quoted on the phone. If this is the way the front office operates, I definitely am not trusting the doctors at this place.
First time there, everyone was great, friendly, good sense of humor, very helpful. They took very good care of me. Thank you. God bless you all.
I called ahead and they said to come in right away as there was no line/waiting. Clean facility with super friendly staff.
I recently visited the Urgent Care facility to have my sutures removed, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the level of professionalism and the wonderful care I received were truly outstanding.First and foremost, the staff at this Urgent Care center are exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the receptionist who promptly checked me in. The wait time was minimal, which I greatly appreciated, especially since I was eager to have my sutures removed. The Medical Assistant who assisted me was not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. She took the time to explain the entire process, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed throughout. The Providers attention to detail and gentle touch during the suture removal put me at ease. She even took the time to answer all of my questions, which I found extremely reassuring. The overall cleanliness and organization of the facility were also notable. Everything appeared to be well-maintained and sanitized, contributing to a sense of safety during my visit. What truly sets this Urgent Care center apart is the way they prioritize patient care. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. The entire experience was efficient without ever feeling rushed.I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at this Urgent Care center for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to their patients. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of medical attention, and I would gladly give it a five-star rating for the exceptional care I received. Thank you for making my visit a positive and reassuring experience.
Easy to register, not a very long wait, very clean clinic, and was seen and diagnosed quickly with an Rx. Will go back. Very pleasant staff.
Excellent facility. All of the staff was kind and friendly. The PA (Stephen Zinnanti) was knowledagble and caring. Its not fun to be feeling ill, but at least that was an enjoyable experience. I was in and out in half an hour and can now get the presricptions needed to start feeling better. I havent been to an urgent care in years. But, if I ever need it again, its the only place Ill go in town.
You took care of my son and me when we were sick. We had swollen glands and GI bugs. With the help of the prescribed medication, we healed in about ten days. Thank you so much for your help!
I was totally impressed with Helix Urgent Care. The staff was great and Steve, the PA who treated me did fabulous. I would highly recommend Helix Urgent Care to anyone who needs urgent care.
What a great health care provider in our town of Stuart. The staff fromReceptionist, nurses assistant, RNs , and doctors were pleasant professional informative and knowledgeable and kindCares were excellent
Really lousy. I paid $98 for a prescription to be sent to my pharmacy last week. It was sent with incorrect usage instructions and the pharmacy couldn’t give it to me. I called Helix and they re-sent the script with the *same wrong instructions so I STILL couldn’t get my meds*. I have since phoned, emailed, and tweeted the company. Walgreens has called too. Zero response, and no meds BUT they were able to charge my credit card. Feels like a scam to me.
Ive been to helix, numerous of times the place is always clean as it should be staff is friendly and Dr. Rosemon is awesome and truly has great staff there
Helix Urgent Care charged me for a virtual visit that never transpired. What I find comical is the fact that the bill is pretty detailed as far as charges and specific services. Again, these services never transpired. They even collected payment from my insurance. All attempts to get this discrepancy fixed have been a fail. Contact through email and phone has been completely unsuccessful. They never return calls or emails, yet their demand for payment letters arrive without issue. I will NOT pay for services I didn’t receive. I do NOT recommend this establishment for any reason. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I love the PA/ NP. He is professional, nice bedside manner. Staffs was pleasant.Nice experience.Thanks.
Imagine my surprise when my insurance was billed $1000 for a 10 minute appointment..no labs...had ear infection...This is theft and fraud disguised as medical care.. .
Helix Medical also has a virtual medical evaluation service which I have found to be somewhat of a scam after what I experienced. The billing address is their 6515 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart Florida location. Researching other victims situations, I am certainly far from the only one gaslighted by Helix Medical. With no medical clinics being open in the area on a recent vacation weekend and feeling despret to get antibiotic eye drops to clear up a worsening pinkeye infection, I found this site stating they could treat pinkeye from a list of common illnesses. I went through the lengthy service diagnostic questions and comments and it stated I should receive communication about a possible prescription within 90 minutes. Five hours later I finally received a text stating the prescription had gone through to the pharmacy. I then drove the 45 minutes to the closest open Walgreens Pharmacy that I had requested the prescription to be sent to. The pharmacist tech with an odd look on her face walked from behind the counter to the retail shelves, grabbed an over the counter eye drop box and placed it in a prescription bag. I inquired about this being for pink eye and she referred to the pharmacist. He stated this might help with symptoms, but in no way would this help clear up pink eye since it was not an antibiotic. He could read my dismay and frustration, agreeing I had been bamboozled by this sketchy online website. Why did I go through the time, hassle and expense on a over the counter eye drop I could have purchased five minutes down the road from my hotel on my own? I ultimately visited a walk in clinic the next day back home and received the proper antibiotics. The PA couldnt believe the online diagnostic service prescribed me a non-antibiotic eyedrop. He stated it was almost malpractice. Consumers beware. Stay away from Helix Medical.
Outstanding facility!! I have had the need to visit Helix Urgent Care on a number of occasions and I must say, they make the visit a real pleasure - professional, modern facility, kind and courteous staff - as much as “Urgent Care” and “Pleasant Experience” can find there way into the same sentence “Helix Urgent Care” makes it happen every time! Highly recommended!!
I came to the Helix Urgent Care facility on Kanner Hwy at 7:54 pm, just :06 minutes before closing time. I had severe throat pain and fever. Though so close to closing, the staff welcomed me in and their nurse, Monica, could not have been more reassuring and kind. Their doctor came and after examining me, she ordered an antibiotic to address the sinusitis infection she diagnosed, all with a healthy dose of care and humor! The entire staff that Thursday night, July 13th, were awesome! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this urgent care facility to everyone! Peace and blessings! 😊
Amazing! Dr. Stephen took care of me and all of my needs. I have a lung infection he gave me the medicine I need and more and the staff was awesome 🫶 when you don’t feel good, there’s nothing better than having people treat you real nice🙏 Leo, on my intake super nice 👍 exact OPPPOSITE of Access Urgent. All my paperwork was filled out online and my appointment was made online before I got there. It was so easy, I will use Helix from here on out and tell all my friends God bless you all🎃😻🌹❤️🔥😇
Helix was the best urgent care Ive experienced so far. Thorough yet quick. From the front desk to triage to the doctor exam, everyone was knowledgeable, skilled & super welcoming. Would 100% recommend!
Every one at the clinic was kind and helpful. Dr. Pruett was very thorough and got to the bottom of my health issues. She prescribed medication that allowed me to breathe better and she very kindly put me on the road to heal. I was very impressed.
PA Rosemond was very helpful with an eye issue. Very thorough and kind. All the staff I met was pleasant and helpful. Did an excellent job diagnosing and giving the scripts needed. I would recommend them.Thank you!Dr. Pruett is excellent!! She helped me tremendously by helping get imaging that showed very important things to monitor and address. She had a wonderful personality, very smart and helpful. She listened and seemed to really care for patients and what they are dealing with. She was very informative.Dr. Pruett is a blessing!
I woke up this morning with the WORST throat pain and headed over to Helix Urgent Care. I got there at 8am when they opened and I was quickly checked in (in under 10 min). As soon as I finished my paperwork, I was called back. The MA took my vitals and history and I was taken to an exam room. By 8:36 I was checked in, triaged, seen by the Nurse Practitioner (Carol), swabbed for strep and flu, had my results, and was headed out the door:Everyone was wonderful, kind, and efficient. I tell EVERYONE I know that the staff here is amazing and the care is thorough. My second experience here was no different today. Love these people! Thank you.
Best urgent care experience to date! Kanner Hwy, Stuart location. Melanie was very personable and super-detailed with the intake information and Rosemond the P.A. was very knowledgeable, personable and has great bedside manner.
Outstanding Service! I was so ill with food poisoning. They were kind, considerate and helpful. I appreciate all they did in house. In sending scripts to the pharmacy - something is lacking. I finally had to ask them to call. After all - I was sick!!However - trying to access and work with the portal was horrible. Many more instructions (or clues) are needed. Like the location is really Deerfield Beach (?) on the portal? It helps to be able to access all the information and read the tests. It took about an hour and I was thoroughly disgusted.
I highly recommend them. I went in and only waited a few minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Dr was very nice too. He listened to me and prescribed the meds I needed. They called my meds into the pharmacy I use. All and all very efficient.
Great staff, very kind. Dr. Steve has great bed side manners and cares.
A big thank you to all the staff at Helix. We booked an appointment for my daughter to get a physical for volleyball and wed have say it was the most pleasant doctors office visit we have ever experienced. The price was right, no wait time. and the highlight of our visit was finding out that we are not as tall as we thought we were! Lol.Helix staff ROCKS the house!! 💫 Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!Kim and Victoria
Everyone was very nice and easy to talk with which made it a very easy and quick visit.
Everyone here was wonderful. The young lady at the front desk was very kind. Monica, the nurse was extremely nice and patient. Dr Roseman was spot on diagnosing my allergy and it’s treatment.I am very grateful for the excellent service I received. Thank you! Cured!
Great staff and medical provider. Fast, friendly and very knowledgeable!
The doctor (Dr. Pruitt) and staff were kind thoughtful insightful and attentive…also knowledgeable and sympathetic…especially Vanessa the nurse that helped my Aunt when she was nausea (I had to leave room cause I’d be sick with her lol) overall a great experience when your not feeling well
Minimal waiting time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. explained condition and recommended follow-up.
Even though it was a already busy waiting room when I walked in, the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming. Honestly what I noticed throughout my entire visit was uplifting attitudes from every employee I was around. I needed some stitches on my foot and some X-rays so my visit wasn’t the shortest. However, every time I met with a nurse or doctor they gave me their FULL attention and made me feel that my needs matter. I felt secure and cared for throughout my entire visit. Hopefully I don’t have another body/health emergency in the near future, but if I did I know where I’m coming back to. Thank you Helix Urgent Care Team!
This place is a scam do not go. Be aware!!! I came in a week ago to do a pre-operation exam. I was quoted a price after they reviewed everything needed from the surgeon and set an appointment for the following week because the physical had to be 30 before surgery. So I came in today and after my urine and ekg test completed the nurse comes in and says they made a mistake on the price they quoted me and it was almost double the original price. The manager was not available on weekends and would not take my call to discuss. I walked out. Never in my life have I seen something like this. I have been a professional in Martin county and Stuart for over 12 years. I will never go back here again and I am recommending everyone not to be bait and switched. Especially in healthcare. Stay AWAY!
I hate going to the doctors, but everyone here was super nice and made the process easy while I wasnt feeling well. Especially a gentleman named Steve that attended to me
I went Helix with extreme photophobia. I could not see at all. The doctor spoke to me as if I were a child and told me he would make it all better. He put numbing drops in my eye so he could look at it. I told him I was not numb, and he argued that I was....hmmm. Then he proceeded to look into my eye, which was not numb. I barely endured the pain. Then he said he needed his little papers and left the room. Mind you, I could not see any of this. He returned after about 40 minutes and said, All better now, right? I told him that nothing had changed. Now he suggested that I go to the ER. He said he would give me a paper to expedite this. I was only given discharge papers. I still could not see, still was in pain and was released. If you have anything other than a laceration, or something common, do not come here. They do not bother to take the time to figure out what is really going on and if they cant treat you, they should just state that up front, not keep you there for hours waiting.
Helix is wonderful. I went in on 9/12/2023. I was not feeling well. I saw Doctor Raymond Exantus, he was very nice and pleasant. I would recommend Helix for your urgent care needs.
First time at helix in stuart and I was very impressed. The gal that Answered the phone when I called was professional. The Care that I received was excellent and everybody that worked there was kind and professional. Carol, the nurse practitioner was absolutely incredible. It was a pleasure...especially when youre sick and feeling miserable.
I had a problem with my foot.I went to this urgent care and was very happy with the whole experience.Staff was excellent.Efficient, kind and caring.Facility was clean, pleasant.Would recommend highly.
I had a virtual appointment through them. I had pink eye and requested eye drops. The whole appointment took less than five minutes. I received a bill for 1500 dollars a month later. I could have went to the emergency room by ambulance for the same price. This has got to be some sort of fraud, there is no way that should have cost 1500 dollars. I wouldn’t have done it if I had known. I’m struggling enough as it is and to have this happen is enough for me to feel hopeless.
My family and I were just beginning our vacation in Florida when we noticed that our son was developing some redness in his eye. We immediately landed, got our rental car, and drove toward an urgent care. We saw Helix Urgent Care in Stuart off the highway and pulled up. Thankfully it was 315 and they hadnt closed. The front desk receptionists were incredibly kind and helpful. The PA was fabulous and funny and made our son feel comfortable. The doctor came in and diagnosed our son with pink eye, gave him drops, and we were able to grab our prescription at the Walgreens next door. We are incredibly grateful we found this urgent care, and thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our first vaca as a family!
This was my second trip in 5 days to you in Tequesta. Both trips were good. Yesterday I was loaded up on the drugs I needed to get better. The staff yesterday were very sweet and knowledgeable Francisco and isabell to name a few. I had such good impressions upon meeting them.
From the beginning, my experience was excellent. I had my 10-month old son and my 4-year old daughter with me, so I was a bit apprehensive of how the visit would go. The staff were so accommodating, seeing my hands were full, they opened doors, walked paperwork to me in the waiting room, and gave me a room big enough for us to be comfortable. I felt well taken care of! I will definitely go back!
All the people there were very nice and thoughtful and kind is a very pleasant place to come into. You guys do a great job. Keep up the good work.Tim Fisher
Very friendly office. I waited less than five minutes after finishing the check-in process. They were all very professional and caring. I will be back. My only complaint would be that I do not like discussing my health and symptoms to the front desk where people are waiting and can hear. I think you need to have a form that clients can write down this information instead. I know that a lot of offices do this and I have never understood why. I hope you will change this policy. Nothing personal as the girl was really helpful too. Thank you for a great and speedy service.
The folks here are very professional, empathetic and patient. Had two ears needing lavage to clean them out. One ear went smoothly, the other was seriously blocked and required repeated treatment. After 1.5 hours working on it, they were able to get it mostly cleared and recommended I use drops at home and see if that works. Ill revisit if needed. I spent my entire career in health care working with people like this, and these are some of the best. They never gave up. Would definitely recommend them.
The staff is very respectful and pleasant. I liked Dr Zinnantis style of medicine delivery. I would go again and recommend others.
The team at this location was outstanding! Very compassionate and caring. The wait was minimal considering their were 4 people on line as soon as they opened on a Sunday morning. They could teach some of the folks up in NJ a thing or to about patient care at emergency facilities.
Sprained my ankle, got right in and everyone was great would definitely recommend
If you need real urgent care go to the ER or elsewhere, this office takes a very long time to see patients. Also, NOT the most friendly staff. They are a bit dismissive and uninformed. Figure on waiting at least an hour before being seen. This office schedules corporate non-urgent physicals, check-ups, drug screens, which fill up the schedule. The new location is very slow compared to the old location across the street. I dont know why???(Additional Edits Below - 5 Years After Initial Posting)This business is worse than I thought. It took a few hours to see me in the office, but it took them 5 years to respond to my review - I am not surprised.
I was there with a friend being seen Saturday 1/13/18 and the waiting room was full so needless to say there was a long wait! The girl (Sheri) at the front desk was so nice, after a few people were very rude to her she was still being professional and calm. The provider (Carol I believe) was super sweet to my friend that was there being seen. The clinical staff in the back were all very nice considering the circumstances. I would go here again and am thankful they were open to help my friend get better.
I was super surprised by the service I received at Helix Urgent Care! The Dr. and staff were friendly and professional. I was in and out in less than an hour! They relayed my prescription to the pharmacy if my choice. Helix also offers an online portal to see ones information on their visit. And the place was clean.
Although there are many locations around the south Florida area, I visited only the Stuart location on two separate occasions this week. Once for my daughter and once for me. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. There were no doctors but the nurse practitioners were very knowledgeable. They diagnosed our symptoms and dispensed the correct prescriptions to get us both back on track to good health. We were both very ill with bronchitis but we started bouncing back within 3 days. I recommend this urgent care facility. They really help us! Thanks Helix!
This urgent care is excellent!! The staff was caring the service was speedy & the Dr.s & staff were kind & caring, joking with me to keep me calm. I would highly recommend this urgent care to anyone needing care.
The staff and physicians were amazing. Unfortunately the Spanish speaking Medical Assistant needs more training in patient care.
Excellent Service, Price, Staff and waiting in all rooms we were moved to was short. They even went over and beyond to help my family since we recently lost our insurance due to covid layoffs. Even called multiple places to get the best price on medicine they prescribed. That goes a long way these days.If I can find one bad thing- their website says they do appointments online. But since covid started they do not after I filled it out.Very good Family Medical practice, highly recommended.
I went in to get a sports physical done for my son. The staff was very friendly and professional. Once we were taken to the back, it was quick. It was about an hour visit. Thats including filling out the paperwork prior to be taken to the back. Great place overall. It would be nice if they had kid books or magazines available for use while there. Just an idea.
The staff was courteous and efficient. The doctor was caring, attentive and made me feel comfortable. Thanks.
I got a deep cut below my ankle, bleeding like a faucet, and called them at about 7:30 to find out they closed at 8 I had to wrap and put a pressure dressing on my foot so I could drive. I walked into clinic at 7:57 and they were accommodating and professional They immediately took me into a room to get sutures. They were also getting my history and meds I am on. They were thorough. ( I wasn’t so good, cause I was preoccupied with everything). All the staff were really pleasant, even though I kept them later. I went back a few days later for a wound check, and they were equally as pleasant. What a lovely group they have there! Top priority is the patient getting the proper care. BTW. I am a retired nurse, so I know!
Helix Urgent Care was a very professional and well run clinic. I went there to have a Covid 19 test so I could return to NY with the results. My husband made an appointment for us and we were very pleased with how organized and clean the clinic was. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The nurses and PA were very kind and were very knowledgeable about the testing. The staff printed our results for us and made sure we had everything we needed before returning to NY. I would highly recommend this clinic.
Very effective and straightforward care. The prices are listed in plain view. As far as intake, they want mostly just the current status of your health, not a long medical history, which is great. The doctor was thorough, knowledgeable and also had a relaxed way of communicating that was really great. It is a good idea to call first to get an idea of how long the wait could be. I would recommend Helix to anybody wanting to avoid the high cost of an ER visit or when visiting your primary care physician would be inconvenient.
On 7/10/18 I went in for help with an ear issue. The PA (Mark) and the doctor (whose name I regret I cant recall) both worked with me for over an hour to successfully remedy the situation. They were kind, skillful, compassionate, and committed to making sure I was going to be okay. I am so grateful for the excellent care I received and would recommend this facility and its staff to anyone!
I have had to use this clinic several times over the years for myself, my young son and my young adult daughter. Service is quick for a clinic. More importantly , the staff have been great and seem to improve over time. From stitches to strep to everything in between I have received appropriate, affordable care. Im not saying theyre equipped for cardio, but definitely a great walk-in clinic.
I went in for a Covid test with my eight-year-old son. It took a while to be seen by the nurse, front desk isn’t very friendly or informative but our nurse Shelby was amazing. My son was so nervous and scared. Shelby was patient and kind and made him laugh. She was great at keeping us calm. I highly recommend this place the medical staff was excellent. The front of the house not so much may be a little less snacking and talking to each other would be nice.
We live on a boat so by its very nature were transient. Trying to get into see a doctor quickly as a new patient is impossible. Everybody we talked to wanted to give us an appointment 2 months out. We found Helix Urgent Care on Google and decided to give them a try. Great service overall. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They accepted our insurance but we basically were paying out of pocket anyway. The pricing is very fair and they publish everything up front so there are no surprises. We would recommend these guys to anyone.
Friendly, warm and caring staff and MD. Made me feel comfortable while I was being cared for. Quick and Personalized experience.
I Am a nurse who is visiting in Stuart. I was concerned about finding an Urgent Care facility where I felt like they were giving good care. A local nurse who had bee to Helix on Kenner was very impressed with the knowledge and care they provided and she recommended them. I was so happy that I drove the distance to get there. The were very cordial, efficient and professional. Great job Helix staff and thank you.
They were wonderful but feel there should be a seperate waiting area for patients that might be more ill such as with covid a d displaying symptoms..i.e. fevers..cough..or just the posibility of being positive by coming seeking for covid tests themselves as to not spread it around worst on others not sick just seeking other emergency care. However, like said, the whole staff was friendly, a bit long the wait, but they did a wonderful job.
I developed a UTI late in the afternoon and called Helix Urgent Care about 6:15 to see when they take their last patient (theyre open until 8). I was told 7 pm but when I told the woman my symptoms and that I wasnt sure I could get there in time she asked if I could make 7:15 and took all of my preliminary info and health insurance information so there would be less to do when I arrived. I got there just after 7 and was seen, treated and left before 8 pm. Shari at the front desk was wonderful and the medical staff was professional and efficient. Id never had to be treated here before and its comforting to see their level of care.
Courteous staff. Friendly from the time you walk until the time you leave. I ended up visiting at a very busy time and I only had to wait 10 minutes before they took me in. I was very impressed. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.
The personnel here are fantastic. They have empathy and take care of you like your primary would. Thanks for caring and being great!
Helix urgent care nurses were kind, prompt, and did their jobs!
Check-in was fast, I was able to get in pretty quickly, and the tech and doctor were very professional and knowledgeable. They were also very nice. The exam room was clean, the new decor is very pleasant. This is my second time to this facility, and if needed I will go back to this one.
Here for a UA have to go so bad and to take my mind of the pain my bladder is feeling I get on the phone to make time pass. Was told to take the phone outside. There are 3 people in here. It’s not a library. Just my two cents. Staff is very friendly though.
Contrary to what is on their website, they DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS FOR COVID-19 TESTING!!! You need to be on site by 7:30am to get in at 8am. We were just told that it is a 2-3 hour wait!! WHY??? For a 2-3 min test? They are out of . The 1-3 PCR test will now take3-7 days. Unbelievable! I need this test for my surgery in 6 days!!!rapid tests
The facility was spotlessly clean and the staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. Everyone there was kind and helpful, and overall it could not have been a better experience! This will be the walk in I choose from now on if I need urgent care!
Do not set appointments with them as they don’t honor them. They also don’t check with the pharmacy if the prescriptions they prescribe are covered or if a generic is available. They also are unsympathetic regarding their own unavailing go one step beyond with customer service. Your file with them doesn’t matter you are unknown to them on every visit. Helix, If you can’t fulfill an appointment or service, declare that during booking or after in the confirmation email. Don’t blame the patient, your inability to update an email notification or “bEcAUsE cOvId”. It’s almost 2023. No company is hiding behind that excuse anymore and not being called out for it. No one is wearing a mask in here. Covid is no longer a factor in requirements or operation less the fact that a test exists for it. Also, front desk must be tired or something because she was cranky and unfriendly. People come here sick. Have some empathy, or go work in a call center where your non-empathetic demeanor is more expected (but never accepted)
I would definitely recommend this care facility. The staff was amazing and I waited a short time. They cared about me and went out of their way to make me feel better. My prescriptions were electronically sent to my pharmacy and were ready when I arrived to pick them up.Kudos to a great place to go when ill and to a pleasant staff that cares
From the initial phone call that I made to Helix to the moment I walked in the door and saw the doctor I was met with kindness and compassion. The doctor treated my sons illness and was very knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns and did not make me feel rushed. We will definitely be using Helix again.
Left us waiting for hours despite not being busy. Stepped out to find us a splint that fit and didnt return at all. Waited in the patient room an hour before stepping out to check and they had forgotten. Terrible place. Will not return. Go literally anywhere else, it will be faster. 0/5.
Quick and concise. They didnt turn me away even though MVCs require a lot of paperwork and I didnt get there until 30 minutes before they closed (I dont recommend doing that by any means, but I worked late). They are open until 8pm, which is very convenient. I am very pleased with the quality care I received.
Great experience. Staff was friendly and got me in to a procedure right away when they saw I was injured. Quick, friendly, caring service - definitely my top choice if I need urgent care again.
If you are looking to get in an out, don’t come here. Of course there is a small wait time in the initial waiting room, that’s fine. They only have 1 PA on staff, and when looking around, there is a lot of laughing and cackling and sitting around by the employees while many patients are in the back waiting to be seen. I waited over an hour in the back waiting to be seen by the PA. Service is absolutely horrific!
I will never visit this place again. This was my second time coming, and I was told I had a past due balance that had to be paid before I was seen. I have Insurance, and per my insurance company, should only EVER be charged the co-pay. Also per my insurance company, holding cards on file is illegal. But I paid what I owed only because I felt really sick and didnt want to deal with it right then. I waited about 45 minutes before being taken back, which is understandable. I then waited another 45 minutes before the doctor came in and examined me for what was maybe 3 minutes. I was written a prescription and was told to give us a few minutes. Another 30 minutes went by as I was waiting for my discharge paperwork, and listening to the entire staff laughing and joking outside my room. I had to open the door, and was immediately given my paperwork and discharged. Assuming I was forgotten about considering the looks on the staff and doctors faces when I opened the door. Do NOT visit this establishment, the wait time is NOT short, and the staff at the front desk is no where near friendly, she actually acted annoyed by anyones presence. Needless to say, I will be refunded for the error, and never will I return again.
I had to get pre-op medical clearance, so I chose this location because theyre nearby and theyre on my healthcare plan as a provider. Everyone there was beyond expectations - especially the nurse who went out of her way to make me comfortable while drawing blood after I told her how anxious I usually get. The only person who did not seem as friendly and helpful as everyone else was the receptionist. She wasnt rude or anything, just wasnt friendly - no smile or hello, just seemed bored and matter-of-factly, and it was early in the morning so it couldnt have been that she was tired after a long day or something. Overall though, I was pleased with the experience.
Great experience! I went in this morning for a Covid test and it couldn’t have been any easier. Everyone was very kind, efficient and the office was super clean. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone seeking urgent care.
Clean office, patients in waiting room were properly social distanced. Girl at front desk who checked me in for Covid testing was nice, as was the tech who did my nasal swab. Ive been to other urgent cares in Stuart and this was by far the best experience.
Cheryl and Tatiana were great and took really good care of me. Even though it was backed up on a Saturday morning at 8 am before they even opened the doors, I was still in and out in less than 1 1/2 hours.
Went to drug screen for work. I was in and out in an hour. Not bad. 👍👍
Professionalism and caring by the Physician and staff. Front desk intake person could have been a little more friendly, even a smile goes a long way. Maybe she didnt feel good or had something going on in her life.I have been in nursing over 40 years. Facility was clean, had hand sanitizer conveniently located. Masks should have been provided for those coughing on sign in desk. This is the kind of place I would love to work or suggest family and friends to go to.
Called on a Sunday received an appointment for an hour later. Showed up filled out a few papers, etc. Was taken back about 30 minutes after arrival.Very thorough, great staff.Fantastic experience from beginning to end.
Absolutely fantastic, very friendly, professional, very well done. Health care team very nice and friendly. Recommend.
Front desk was giving bad attitude, no kindness or empathy or showing any willingness to help, their biggest pain was more important... they wanted to close at 8 pm and I got there to get help at 7.48 pm which wasn’t to convenient apparently, so I decided to leave feeling not welcomed at all. I never had this bad experience visiting a doctor office in my life !11/07/2017 Tuesday
First time here today. Is it possible you all can spray and clean the seats in the lobby, knowing that people are actively experiencing covid symptoms. Guy was sneezing, shivering, coughing and blowing his nose, not one staff came out to spray, clean the seats and door handles! No social distancing. Other ppl were actively coughing and requesting rapid testing! They waited in the lobby just to be told that the results takes 4-6. Front desk staff weren’t wearing mask I can see why this pandemic is so bad. Very sad.
Absolutely the best Urgent Care. We went in for covid testing as a family of 5 and they were super sweet to us, results had a great turnaround time, and the staff was very patient and sympathetic with us as we called multiple times to check on them.
We come here to be checked because we have to see a doctor or someone in the health industry. While I was waiting for my Covid test, the new girl in the front was rude not only to me but to many after and REFUSED to help people who were tested positive for Covid 5 days ago. How a health provider that is supposed to receive people in need they refuse to check them…. They are disgusting if we need help if we need a doctor they are by law supposed to never refuse us always welcome us. I cannot believe the times we live in where doctors pick and choose who they want to see. By the way every person wanting to get tested the front girl says either two hour wait time three hour wait time or 4 hour wait time with the same people in the lobby without moving I guess they don’t want people wanting to get tested either
I cant say enough about the great care my son recieved this morning. We were in town from St. Louis and David has multiple disabilities and a complicated medical history. He hadnt been feeling well for several days so I called and from the initial call, to triage, to care and x-ray tech this is an awesome facility. They worked us in on a busy day and each and every one of the service providers not only tended to David with exceptional medical care but with a smile and compassion. David has a terminal diagnosis and we always worry about him but today he was in excellent hands and we were grateful.
Wow, we researched all of the urgent care facilities online before selecting Helix! My wife and I were both diagnosed with acute bronchitis, this is a top notch facility and every person treated us with compassion and we were super impressed❤ Our EMT triage guy was amazing, the doctor was so compassionate and caring, Xray tech was so nice and all receptionists equally as awesome. They accepted our Out of State Blue Cross and i absolutely love the privacy and convenience of the tablets and being able to pay co pays with privacy.
I had a good experience here. The staff and doctors were friendly and nice and I would gladly visit again. The waiting time is a bit long but its understandable granted it being busy. I would highly recommend this location to my friends and family.
I was there about 35 minutes before they closed. They welcomed me in and made me feel comfortable. Everyone was kind and courteous. I was treated and out of there quickly. I had a very positive experience considering the circumstances. I would highly recommend.
Staff was very kind, and the doctor was very informative about what she was treating! The place was very clean!
The front desk was very nice ladies working. The Male nr was great. He answered my questions and treated me with respect. The Dr. was helpful and gave me my diagnosis and prescription in a timely fashion.... The price was reasonable....
I was visiting from Maine and had difficulties walking. I saw Dr. Sarah Werner. She was wonderful. Precise and compassionate. Diagnosed me and called the hospital in advance so I did not have to wait. I visit Stuart a lot and now I have a place to go if I need medical care.
Everyone was very nice the care was perfect and I would refer anyone I know do you if they needed care
I recently went there on a Sunday afternoon. I wish I could remember the names of the staff involved, but unfortunately I was not feeling the best. The staff and doctor were professional, efficient and listened to my concerns. I am fairly new to Stuart, so this was a nice alternative to having someplace to go when you are sick over the weekend.
Very nice and knowledgeable people and nice place. Clean and in a new building, which is across from Publix, where they were previously. When my primary care doctor is closed and cant get me in his office I will definitely go back to Helix Urgent care.
Nothing is worse than a bladder infection on a 3 day road trip! I called the Urgent Care Cntr early on Sat morning and was seen by the Dr. w/in a 1/2 hour of arrival.Im doing much better w/in 3 days! I still have medication to take and lots of decaffeinated liquids to drink but I am grateful for the care I received!!! THANKS!!!
Helix Urgent Care is a great place to go for any unexpected medical attention. Their staff, from receptionist, to nurses and PA’s are caring, professional and keen on making your stay as comfortable and informative as possible. I highly recommend them!
Stuart location was great. Northlake location was terrible. My husband made an appointment with a person and when we got there they were closed. Woman in side said it was a computer glitch. Meanwhile 5 other patients came with apps also.
Very nice and professional office - I was treated well and received the care I needed. I would recommend to anyone that needs urgent care vs emergency room to go there.
They were quick and very helpful. I had Xrays and was fitted with a boot. They even looked at my xrays again called me back immediately and I was given crutches. Definitely on top of their game. The staff was so nice.
I was in a boating accident in 2019 and a larger boat drove onto the smaller boat I was on and almost drove into my face. I was bruised from the accident and came to helix urgent care to be checked out. I was billed $80 copay on date of service when I was in for my appointment and I paid it date of service. Apparently they realized I owed an extra $20 since my copay should have been $100.00. I had moved and didn’t receive the bill for $20.00 and I was sent to collections. I called and spoke with Tricia the manager and she apologized it was on my credit and agreed to remove it from collections if I paid $90.00. The collection agency was now charging me approx $170.00 so I said ok let me just call my insurance company and verify I should have paid $100 a I’ll call you right back and pay the $90 to be done with this horrible situation. I called back for over a year to make this payment. I called over 50 times over the year to speak with Tricia and get this situation resolved. I spoke with Samantha and Candy and many other people on the phone and I have not received a call back from Tricia. I called again last month and the woman who answered the phone said we cannot offer you that deal anymore you need to pay the full $170 from the collection agency. So this has been on my credit for over a year while I was trying to work this out with Tricia. The fact that the manager offered me this solution and then refused to return my call after a year and now will not honor her word is really disheartening, to say the very least.
Thank you so much for your help! Wonderful service, friendly staff and overall great experience. Will definitely be coming back in the future if I need to!Dr.Paul Laprato was very professional, kind, and really helped me with the water clogged in my ear. So grateful to have went there and was very pleased with my experience! Keep up the excellent work....Thanks again😁😁😁
Neat and organized, also it’s a growing church love to see it.
Had an appointment. Was seen on time. Dr. Werner was awesome as was all the staff from the receptionist to the nurse. Its my second time to use this facility and I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work.
They called the Police!!!!Third attempt to get paperwork filled out - Ive been calling explaining its time critical, do you think they care???? The office is rude and dodging me. The second attempt, the nurse practitioner Kerry doesnt take the time to read directions so the paperwork is useless. Example: If you answer 7 do not answer 8.Kerry answers 7 and 8. She leaves one whole page blank so I have to ask for it to be redone for a third time.I stopped by on the way to the dog park, my husband and dog waiting for me. Along with with the untouched paperwork is a note from Kerry saying she will not fill out any more paperwork to go see another doc. I try to explain I need her errors corrected but the girls up front tune me out. They just want me to go away. It is time sensitive, the days have been ticking by and now they want me to start with someone else. I ask one of the girls to please show Kerry the mistakes. I wait, but I already know the answer and as expected Kerry still says no. I ask for my money back - no - I asked for my paperwork back - I get everything except the pages with errors They just disappeared.Naturally I am upset, Ive been calling, checking everyday, When I saw the paperwork today I could not believe it, When I try to enlist their help, they are completely disinterested, incredibly condescending, eye rolling. Too busy saying NO, to even listen. When I got angry ,they told me tell me they were going to call the police I tell them please do hoping I will at least get my paperwork back....but no.Absolutely disgusting. These are the people I went to when I sprained my ankle. They took my money, they billed my insurance company thousands, they got what they needed. When I needed some follow-up paperwork they treated like I was just a bit pain and then a criminal.
Efficient taking information. Did not have to wait long. Treatment from Doctor and nurse good. Recommend treatment to go to the local hospital emergency room.
The actual visit wasnt bad it was follow up that was terrible. I needed some work sent to the lab and the lady told me a few days and its been a week with virtually no answers. They told me to call everyday and hopefully they will have them. I just think thats insane, so I call again and they say they have partial labs the phone disconnects and I call back and the girl I was speaking to instead of calling back was busy with someone else.... at this point I dont even care anymore
I had to get my son a physical for football. I didnt realize I forgot the first page. When I explained to the receptionist, she was kind and even had an extra sheet for me. The staff was great and very friendly. After everything was said and done, I was out after 45 minutes
As a walk in, this site was very helpful, expedient and ver professional. First time to this urgent care and would recommend them to anyone in the Stuart area. In Network for my insurance as well. Thanks for your service.
The wait took forever. The nurse who took my vitals was very sweet but everything went downhill after she left. They didnt even send a doctor in, they sent an RN. He refused to acknowledge half my symptoms and gave me a prescription for only one of my symptoms and a prescription for a cough which I didnt even have! I ended up at south Martin memorial where the visit was way quicker and they diagnosed me with the exact thing I tried to explain to the urgent care RN I was worried I had. When I told the nurse at the urgent care that I didnt want to sign the paperwork because he didnt address all my symptoms and wrote a prescription for a symptom I dont have (the whole time Im telling her Im sobbing from all the pain Im in) and her response was thats always a risk you take when you visit a doctor. Just sign and come with me to check you out. So rude and seemed so unwilling to help me feel better. Just wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Save your time and just go to South Martin Memorial where they will actually treat your symptoms.
Awesome! They are quick, but still sweet. In less than an hour I was done with everything I needed to get done for my new employer. They were very professional and pleasant to speak to.
My 8 year old son broke his wrist. Everybody was very nice and helpful. We were in and out quick. I would definitely recommend this office instead of going to the emergency room.
They could not have been more professional or responsive. Answered my call immediately after appointment to help with pharmacy.
We are living on our boat in Stuart and my wifes back went out. We saw Dr. Tatiana Chandler who provided excellent care for my wife. The whole staff was great right from my phone call to inquire if they could help
Went to Helix Ugent Care yesterday for an issue I was having. They were wonderful! Check in was easy with a ver friendly young lady. Wait time was short before seeing the doctor. The doctor was very friendly and easy to talk with. I told him my problem. He asked me a few questions and made a diagnosis. He ordered me to meds which was sent directly to Walgreens. By the time I got to Walgreens my meds were ready to be picked up. Today the problem I was having had gone away. Extremely pleased from start to finish!!!
I came to helix urgent care with a huge open gash to my jaw, that was in need of stitches. Not only did dr. Sarah Werner perform 3 layers of stitches with the smallest thread, a week later Im almost completely healed with minimal scarring. Ive recieved numerous compliments on her work! What a great experience considering my situation. Thank you to the entire staff!!
5 - Even though the wait was 2.5 hours due to a prior emergency - the staff was outstanding. I left my purse behind and they waited for me to come back -- even though it was closing time. That is above and beyond. Thank you. I would highly recommend Helix.
Dropped my wife off at 8am this morning. She had a sore throat and was starting to get sick. She waited over an hour and a half for them to swab her throat to tell her she was negative for all the tests. Doctor proceeds to send her on her way with a prescription for Flonase. We had to go back in and argue with them to get a prescription for an antibiotic. I will never go back there. Took forever to get anything done and when we did we saw minimal action/results. If I could give zero stars I would. Never going back here.
I live in Jensen beach and even though there are a few Urgent Cares around me I still rather travel to Helix Urgent Care in Stuart. Everyone is very professional, well informed in their duties and well mannered. Right up to the young girl you meet as you enter the front door. Keep up the excellent work!!
I like the staff l, they are so nice and friendly. Staff was really helpful. I gave 4 star not 5 star because the doctor who treated my girl was not so friendly other then that everything was awesome. I will highly recommend this place.
It was pleasant experience, very organized and my needs were met, my primary MD office was not available on Wednesday and it was great to get really professional care in this walk-in- clinic. I will recommend Helix Urgent Care to my friends and family.
I went to this urgent care once before. I believe they changed their name since then. My first visit was 115.00. For the exact same visit with the new name 497.00. I went here for a cold. Saw a PA not a Dr. and within a half of an hour was out the door with a prescription for a antibiotic. When I called them to asked why does it cost $497 to see a PA for a cold, the answer was because they are convenience and I didnt have to wait in the ER. REALLY!! You might want to get a quote if you are visiting for a non emergency.
Very nice staff my wife has gone here twice for drug test and they were fast and very nice both times my experience was very fast and nice all staff was very professional .
Super helpful staff. Quick and thorough treatment. Great walk-in facility
I never had a bad experience. Doctors are great. I never waited long to get into see doctor. I was treated very well, staff was nice to me. Ive been going there with my kids since 2007.
The staff was very polite and professional. Wait time was adequate and the procedure ran smoothly. I will definitely return to the office if I need to be seen at another time.
Helix was very clean. The receptionist was so kind. The doctor listened to everything I said and acted accordingly. It was truly a pleasant experience.
What a joke! My husband was seen and treated for a flu however, we then found out he actually is passing a kidney stone! Hes tried calling back to speak with the NP for 2 days without a returned call. I just called and spoke to the woman who answered the phone who was extremely rude and insensitive to our concerns. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Would gladly sit in an ER overnight or drive a little further to any other urgent care just not to go to this place.
Took my daughter here after she sustained an ankle injury. They took xrays and told us it was a sprain and she would be fine in a few days. I made her an appointment with her orthopedic just to be safe and brought them the xrays taken at the urgent care. When the orthopedic looked at the xray taken at the clinic you could clearly see where the ankle was broken.
Great visit! We were seen fast, by a professional and caring staff. Thank you for you care and we will use helix for any urgent care needs for out family (hopefully we wont have any but if we do we know where to go)thanks again!
I never have written a bad review previously. However, after experiencing rudeness, absolute neglect and disrespect from the staff members of this location, the company needs to seek a better staff.
Just moving to Stuart I was a little apprehensive going into a walkin clinic for help in not being able to breathe. Even tho the prognosis was not what I wanted to hear I felt totally at ease and felt the entire staff was not only knowledgeable but thoroughly put me at ease. Even tho now I am scared about my future living with COPD, I know if I have another emergency I know they will do whatever it takes to make me comfortable.
Excellent care, made me very comfortable.
They might offer good care, but from a covid standpoint, not all of their workers behind the desk are masked and the seating is completely open, compared to other offices that mark off seats to ensure safe distance. Strange choices from a medical office.
Made my appointment and was received on time. Saw a med tech who was very professional. Then met the MD. Had a very good outcome. The person at the desk on the way out was very explanatory. Thank everyone from the start to the end. RPeeks
I cannot say enough good things about this center. I am always seen quickly even when they are busy, they just seem to make it work. The entire staff are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable.I have decided to make them my primary care giver.Kelly James
The doctor was super helpful with my questions regarding my daughter’s weird random allergic reaction to something. And she was great with my daughter! We walked out of there feeling much better!
Never again..Told me that they sent scrips to pharmacy electronically..Nope.. And no notes in chart on what meds I was prescribed..Never again..
The staff was solicits. Time spent waiting was adequate. The only concern was rhe emphases on financial issues. All four signatures required had to do with financial approvals, even permission for treatment was tied to finances.
Very efficient office. Xray tech named Chris was awesome. He was very professional and spoke in an educated manner, a quality not found in many people. Thank you Helix.
Went here after I finally got tired of not having an appetite for 2 months. She knew right away that I was sick. She walked in took a look at me and said “you’re sick you need to go to hospital. I was in denial though she was crazy. They took my blood sugar ( first time ever taken by any one) blood sugar was over 400. Went to hospital and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Thank god I went here because who knows if any where else would of checked blood sugar.
Helix was a painless place to get COVID-19 tested. It was busy but not chaotic. There was a wait to be seen but it was appropriate for the crowd. Everyone was courteous and professional.
Couldn’t be more impressed. Kind staff, kind doctor, great check in process, etc. Most of the annoying stuff about going to a doctor (check in, red tape, etc. are removed here.) if you’re looking for a walk in clinic in Stuart, go to this one.
Wonderful! Prompt and efficient. They provided me with a great diagnosis and I felt better in no time! Friendly and courteous. Great job!!!
I cant begin to explain how rude this establishment is. We left another clinic due to a long wait time and figured this place looks nice, new and clean so why not? Aesthetically it is a beautiful building but aesthetics mean nothing when there is absolutely no bedside manner. I walk in, let them know why Im there, I cant breathe due to heavy chest congestion, I just coughed so hard I threw my back out. I can barely stand, and Im in between insurance. The girl rudely snaps you dont have insurance? Well its 99$. I reply, no problem. Thats why Im here. Obviously... Its a walk in clinic. You come to these places instead of a primary dr when you dont have Insurance and its urgent. Im expecting to pay a lot. After this already Rude exchange, no offer to let me sit down ,nothing; she instead hands me a mask. I try and put it on but I again, cant breathe. I explain I cant handle the mask due to how severe my breathing problem is. She goes you have to wear it. I try again but start coughing so bad I cant put it over my nose. It smelled like plastic too. She still hasnt offered me to sit down.I fill out an ID card, she takes my ID then finally says sit down Ill call you when you can fill out paperwork. I ask if I can wait outside when Im done (since I cant breathe in the mask ) with the paperwork thinking itll be maybe a few minutes for her to grab the paper, and I go hobble over to my seat.About 15 minutes later the other guy in the waiting room hands her this iPad thing. I realize this whole time Ive been waiting struggling to breathe in this mask, its because theyre paperless and only 1 patient at a time can fill out this iPad thingy. She doesnt sanitize it and makes me hobble back over to fill it out. I do. You also have to swipe your card in advance on the iPad thing. I go hobble back to give it to her and at this point my partner cones back inside from a business call (he rearranged his schedule/canceled appointments to take care of me) is beyond fed up. The Drs/ nurses are laughing while the girl is rolling her eyes at me , and he says were leaving. Were going somewhere else.I was so grateful to leave. I couldnt breathe, I was in pain and the heavier set Mexican girl at the counter was still rude up until the end. My partner asks if he can make sure we werent charged, if he can have a receipt, anything thats proof of no visit/no charge on paper, and she just snaps IT didnt CHARGE you.We have a corporate lawyer so if anything is charged were not worried, but on our way out another couple told us they were having bill issues as stated in some of the previous reviews.Dont go here. The place was so rude we didnt even let them attempt to tx. The clinic in downtown Stuart is much much better!! You may wait a bit, but at least youre treated with compassion the moment you walk in and not like youre a disgusting diseased patient whose presence annoys them because it takes away their precious office gossip time 😂.
Dr Amanda spent a lot of time & was very good
A very professionally run location from the minute you walk in the front door until you are done being seen. every single person who is there to provide medical services seem to treat you as if you are very important. Thank you for such amazing care
Train wreck. Here we are in the middle of a covid spike, yet most of the staff is not wearing masks, or have them hanging around their neck. No patient policy. Many patients without masks.Appointment? Waste of time expect to wait over an hour anyway. Walkins seem to get priority, probably a higher billing code. Ugh.Publix has the COVID protocols down pat. This is a medical provider for crying out loud. Shameful.I previously rated them 5 stars after a stellar first visit. This is my 4th visit for a series of immunizations. Each successive visit has been worse. Will never come back.
It was very busy when I went and my wait was long but she said it would be But they where great always made me fell I was important while I waited for the doctor. The staff was the greatest I recommend this clinic
Upon going into Hexlix Urgent, of course not feeling well, I was taken care of immediately by the front desk asking me to complete paperwork.
The experience was great. The staff was professional, very courtesy, and took the time to explain everything.
We actually went to the Helix Urgent Care in Tequesta- the staff was very professional and knowledgeable- we were there for the COVID-19 test- it was fast and easy, we were in and out within 15 minutes and had results in 2 days- loved it
Great staff, friendly, smiley, easy to talk to.Timely and professional. Highly recommend.
Experience was very delightful. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and I would definitely go back there and I would definitely give a good reference for someone looking for an urgent care in the future
I was on vacation from Boston. I found my blood pressure very high. I forgot my meds at home. I walked in with no appointment. I did have to wait almost an hour but in my past experiences in Boston, it was so much quicker, I did not mind. The PA was very good. I got my meds next door at Publix and they called them in. People who complain should try getting sick in a city like New York or Boston. This was my first time in urgent care, and I was impressed.
I went to Helix for a bad bout of Gout. Have been here 5 times over the last three ears for same thing. Always prescribed a anti-inflammatory and Vicodin. Today I went three and AFTER paying told me they CANNOT prescribe opiates! So here I am at home in excruciating pain. just what I was hoping for!! Cant work cant cook cant drive cant work!! I think corporations are great!! They will prescribe what they want not what you need.I entered the store barley able to walk. The doctor said they should have told me at the window. The manager said they are not obligated to give out pain medication or inform me of such. All of the other stores that dont prescribe opiates have a sign right out front saying they do not prescribe opiates. They refused to give me a refund so I could afford to be properly treated elsewhere.I would advise everyone to ask lots of questions before you hand over your hard earned money. As with all corporations once they have your money, you are NOT getting it back. BUYER BE WAREThese are the same corporations that started to hand out Heroin like candy to everyone and caused hundreds of thousands to overdose and die. Now the folks that really need it are $#*% oudda luck.ALSO when I arrived at the pharmacy they only gave me half of the prescription I have gotten for decades from here and other places. So it took me 3 weeks to get over issue that usally takes 3 days!
Although I did have to wait over an hour it was very helpful. I went in for the Covid test and actually got to see the Dr. He prescribed an antibiotic and prednisone which took care of the body aches. the next day.. very thankful!
I broke my toe. They were quick to check it out and confirm it was broken. Anyway the staff was kind and friendly. The wait was not short, but was okay
The staff was super helpful! My daughter was sick on a Sunday and they were super patient and kind! Hats off! I will tell all my customers how wonderful you are!
This place just opened, and IS NOT The same place that was across the street at the Publix Shopping Plaza, even though they claim to be the same business. The Urgent Care does not treat patients with urgency, nor do they seem to care. Its a shame, the old UC across the street used to be very good. I was sent here for a physical, and waited almost 2 hours, even though I had an appt. I would hate to have been one of those poor people who walked-in and were feeling sick or hurting. If youre really sick and have a choice, try Medstat down town Stuart or on US1? It couldnt be any worse. They charge your credit card up front before you even see the nurse. (There is no doctor in the building, just a nurse) The charge is about $150 plus whatever extra they will try to charge your insurance company and then also to, you as, well afterwards.
It was wonderful, all the girls were friendly and showed concern and got me into the office quickly
The wait was a little long, 45 minutes. But not having an appointment, and feeling the way I did, it was well worth the wait. All of the employees were professional, caring, and kind. THANK YOU!
It was very needed for me and they help me tremendously with not much wait. I would highly recommend this location.
I was very disappointed in the physicians disrespectful and dismissive attitude. He focused on some irrelevant and incorrect observations rather than the reason for my visit.I subsequently went to the emergency room at South Martin where I received expert care.
Awesome urgent care they listened to myneeds, addressed them as well as they were able to, and i left satisfied that my medical needs were met. I have epilepsy and they helped me out with my medications so i appreciate it more than theyll ever know.
