No one I talked to had a welcoming attitude at all very disappointed in the service I received. They were very rude and handle you like you are less of a person due to your ethnicity or insurance . I was referred here by a doctor, which the OBGYN there was my previous doctor for my first pregnancy. I hope she moves to another facility because this is definitely not it. The doctor for my first pregnancy that is here was very sweet and caring but this facility will put a bad taste in your mouth. Would not recommend!!!
This place is a breath of fresh air. I was referred to this clinic from my fertility specialist for a high risk pregnancy. Due to some complications at my first visit, I was in tears due to the fear of losing my baby. The receptionist was extremely sweet (she is always sweet and super welcoming) and helped to calm me ensuring me I was in good hands. Doctor Elliott is heaven sent. She treats you like family. I feel extremely comfortable talking to her, literally about anything. She is very compassionate, understanding, and patient. Any questions I have had, she’s answered. If I raise a concern she goes above and beyond to ensure the level of treatment I receive is appropriate for me. The ultrasound tech is also superrr sweet! She takes her time with her scans and provides several photos which I absolutely love. She allows us time to see our little angel, which calms my nerves a great deal. Most places are not like this, so I will always recommend Four Seasons. The ladies here are wonderful. Thank you Four Seasons!
I cant speak for other peoples experiences in this office, but I received the best care Ive ever gotten from a medical facility yesterday. The front desk staff was a bit quiet, but was never rude or condescending in anyway, contrary to some of the other reviews posted. I was seen only a few minutes after my appointment time, and Betsy was so kind, caring, and communicative. For backstory, I had a very painful, traumatizing experience three years ago when I got my first IUD inserted from a doctor at a different hospital. The doctor was sweet, but the procedure was almost enough to make me scream. I was also in pain/spotting constantly for close to four months after. It was a bad enough memory that I was violently shaking and nauseous while I waited for my appointment yesterday. My experience at Four Springs was totally different. My nurse ( I didnt catch her name), was very sweet, and when Betsy came in she immediately did everything she could to put me at ease. She offered me the options of anesthesia or laughing gas to help with the pain which wasnt an option for me the first time, but I declined since we would have to reschedule. Throughout the whole process she talked me through everything she was doing, and kept a conversation going to keep my mind off of it. It was uncomfortable, but not unbearable like the first time, and super fast. They gave me a high dose of Motrin after, and let me stay as long as I needed to in case I was light headed. After, I barely had any cramping, and a normal amount of spotting. Today, the DAY AFTER, I have absolutely no pain and no bleeding. I will never go anywhere else for my contraception needs!
A lady named Camron at the front desk was highly disrespectful. I had questions about my appointment and instead of being professional and answering the questions she told me to just reschedule with an attitude. I also noticed that she tends to be nicer and has more patients to people with a lighter skin complexion so if you are a person of color just know you won’t feel very welcomed here.
Not a fan of this office. I did not feel like I was receiving the proper care I needed, so I switched to a new provider halfway through my pregnancy. Would not recommend.
The one time I went they billed my insurance (and then me) for a urine pregnancy test even though I didn’t give a urine sample. When I called to dispute the charge I was told they had results for it so the charge was valid. Not sure how, since I’m pretty sure I would remember peeing in a cup. Fast forward a year, took FIVE phone calls to get an appt scheduled, and 3 to get someone on the phone to get it cancelled. Please just go somewhere else.
Awful place. I’ve gone for an annual for a few years without issue, but this year had to go several times and today after I arrived and payed (before appointment here), I just had to leave. I’ve no issue with the nurse practitioner I see, but the office staff is just too much. This office is 100 focused on billing services and collecting payment. They call you days ahead of an appointment to tell you how much you have to pay, then start sending you links to pay it. Which they call checking in. I did this once, and weeks after appointment I got a text saying they were Charging more to the card I entered. No reason , no consent, just an fyi. So I don’t this time, and was treated like a shop lifter when I got to the office. Rude and condescending comments and after I paid (you don’t get through the door here without paying first) I asked how to remove the card from their online system so it didn’t get used without consent again. And was told I couldn’t see a doctor if I did because if my insurance didn’t everything billed, “their techs deserve to get paid”. ?? so you ASK me for balance like every other doctor office. But, even though they just took my payment it was just all so freaking g rude I walked out.
There seem to be wildly conflicting reviews, and I can only tell my story. I called after postponing on getting my health checked, but a doctor at my PCP office recommended them. They got me in next day due to a cancellation. At the office I only waited maybe ten minutes before I went back. Everyone who saw me was kind and seemed like they were honestly happy to do their job and get me to the right place for my health.Whoever it was that took my blood for labs was FANTASTIC. Needle phobia and I seriously didn’t feel a thing. She needs a raise. I wish I’d caught her name but I was mostly trying not to freak out about needles.I’m happy to go back!
The staff was very friendly and Dr. Boren was the best. She takes the time to listen to you, you can tell she loves her job and genuinely cares. All while having a big smile and a happy go lucky environment. Very inviting. Would highly recommend.
I have been seeing Dr. Elise Elliot, and she is absolutely amazing. I cant stand the gyno like I cant stand the dentist --- like, I get terrible anxiety from the dentist, and avoid it as much as possible. I literally avoided the gyno for 10 years until I started getting unbelievably bad periods, but waited way longer than I should have because of it. And I have to say, although going to the gyno and what not is still really uncomfortable for me, Dr. Elliot was absolutely amazing. She was the exact gynocologist/surgeon I needed to have. Her bedside manner is amazing, she knows I hate the gyno, and has been incredibly considerate and conscious of that every visit. She also does NOT rush you, and takes time to answer all your questions, and is super human and relatable, and just a wonderful woman in general. She is insanely smart, and dont let her young age fool you -- she knows her stuff. WELL.Long story short, she did a 3-part surgery, primarily a hysterectomy, but kept my ovaries. She didnt give me any grief or push back on getting the hysterectomy as I had PCOS and Adenomyosis, and was out half of every month because my periods were so bad. She knew I was nervous, but answered all my questions and put me at ease. They have a very thorough pre-op process and education as well.I ended up getting an infection and called after hours, and there was a doctor on call from Four Seasons, Dr. Boren and she saw me at the UT Tyler Hospital right away. She was awesome, too.I nearly cried telling Dr. Elliot how grateful I was to have had her as my gyno and surgeons. But the entire Four Seasons staff -- from the front desk, to the surgical scheduling, phelbotemists, nurses, and so forth... they are the absolute best place to go to in East Texas.
I had a not so fun appointment I had to go to and everyone made me feel so much better. I usually only see Dr Willis who is just the best but this time I saw Rachel Fouse, NP-C and I could not have been more happy and satisfied with the outcome. She made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. Next time I can’t see Dr Willis I’ll definitely be seeing her again!!
Dr. Layne is so professional and friendly, I felt very comfortable under her care. Dr. Layne together with Dr. Pulaski both literally saved my life by helping catch & remove my cancer before it had spread. I saw Dr. Layne for gyno issues, she was very thorough and attentive to my concerns.
FIRST, Dr Willis is the best doctor I could have asked for for labor and delivery.CONS: As far as using this office as a gynecologist, be prepared to wait 45 mins to see the doctor(sigh) and it will be someone new every time(didn’t really bother me). The front desk ladies also don’t have the best customer care but most places don’t.. and I was willing to deal with it for the doctors.PROS: ALL the doctors and nurses are amazing. Absolutely incredible attitudes and caring every single time, which I have never seen before in another facility. You see every delivery doctor before you deliver. They DO NOT SKIM CORNERS. They are very proactive and do not miss a beat on your care.
If I could give zero I would. Dr blew off my miscarriages, she even made me feel like I was crazy for knowing that something was wrong. When It comes to pregnancy your baby is top priority and she made me feel like it was nothing. No sympathy what’s so ever. They would never call about my blood work and at one point tried saying that I never had any blood work done even though I had paid, with confirmation number and everything. My new dr office had to fight them for my results. They would try to send me extra bills months after I stopped going to their office. I do not recommend, please do not go here if you’re really needing help. Hospital sent me to them with high hopes and left hurt and very disappointed.
I came here after having to find another OBGYN due to insurance purposes and was fortunate enough to have Dr. Elliott take me on as a patient. I have had no complaints with the facility or the providers as everyone has been so amazing and professional! Dr. Elliott recently delivered my son and even though I was quite anxious that day, she made sure to comfort and guide me through. We are so grateful for these exceptional providers and especially thankful for Dr. Elliott!
Like another reviewer if I could give a zero, I would. Office staff is unprofessional and difficult to get on the phone. My wife as assigned appointment times with no way to change them if she couldnt make it due to work.My wifes nurse has accused her of not taking her prenatal care seriously and been difficult to deal with. At the end of the pregnancy it seems like each doctor has no clue whats really happening. When we ask questions they dont have answers Sometimes they contradict their own answers. My wife is a high risk pregnancy and it doesnt seem as though they are taking it seriously. If you can find another practice that can give you personal care I would recommend it.
I transferred over at five months pregnant because I had a nightmare of an experience with another OBGYN and fortunately, Dr. Elliott decided to take me on as a patient. She genuinely cares about others and has a heart of gold. It’s evident in her rapport and actions that she has compassion for patients. I could not have asked for anyone better! She always seemed very thorough, upfront, and honest in any concerns, questions or ideas she may have had. She made choices in my best interest and had a way of making me feel like I could address her with any concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone. I loved my experience with the other doctors at Four Seasons, but I mostly saw Dr. Elliott and have a special place in my heart for her.
This has been the best doctors office that I have patronized in 30+ years. Dr. Layne is my doctor and she is awesome. She truly listens to what you have to say and she genuinely cares about her patients. Another experience that I had with this office was on Dr. Laynes day off and I was treated by Dr. Willis and I was surprised that this office has another doctor that really listens and cares about what the patient feels and needs. I also had experiences with two other doctors at this office, Dr. Newton and Dr. Boren, much to my surprise they are also caring doctors. I have never had two doctors in one office that are amazing, but imagine my surprise and delight to have four amazing doctors in one office. The staff in this office have never failed to treat me with respect, including staff that you hardly ever see, like Rosie, Dr. Laynes nurse and Erica, the surgery scheduler. I would more than happy and without hesitation recommend this office to my closest and dearest friends and family.
Four Seasons is by far the best OBGYN in East Texas! After having a negative experience at another office, I was very nervous for this appointment. Betsy calmed all my fears. She listened so well and gave me great advice. She truly cared about me and my health! She was very thorough and talked me through the entire appointment. I cannot recommend this office enough! The staff was very kind and helpful and made this a great experience.
I love this place! I have been searching for a gynecologist I trust for 20 years, and I finally feel like Im in the right place. Dr. Newton asked me very specific, intelligent questions about the medication I take for chronic health issues. We also discussed how diet can affect my moods, along with the hormones, and she gave me really helpful ideas that I think will actually work for me. It was so refreshing to have a doctor really listen to what I was saying and understand me. Every person is unique, and I feel like she helped me formulate a specific plan for ME that will help me be healthy and happy as I go through menopause.
This is the best womens clinic I have ever been to! Dr. Newton is THE absolute BEST and Ive never trusted another Dr. as much as I trust her. Dr. Boren is also very wonderful as is the rest of the staff. Ive had nothing but the best experiences and care here and I could not be more thankful for this incredible group of women! Each and every Dr. or PA that I have seen have gone above and beyond to make sure that I am receiving the best care possible. Because of this, I have actually been able to avoid a few possible general/random health issues due to their thoroughness and genuine concern and I cannot thank them enough for this! I am glad I found this place!
All of the staff is awesome! Dr. Elliot is very knowledgeable & most definitely a very thorough. She very kind & caring. Nurse Debe was so very helpful. I highly recommend 4 Seasons Womens Health.
My wife has been coming here for few visits and all seemed well at first. We thoroughly enjoyed the first appointment and seeing our small baby through ultrasound. However, since then the amount due for coming each visit has increased along with the fact that I cant go with my wife on some of her visits which is complete bull. Cite COVID or whatever you want, but if Im wearing a mask like everyone else then why cant I go back and see MY baby and be there to listen to the doctor in regards to MY baby. I think the process needs to be rethought to incorporate the men more, especially when some of us care enough to want to be there and you know take a day off to go with our wife because originally they were told they could bring a guest. Please dont go back on your words because then you become unprofessional and dishonest.
I had been going to this clinic for general gynecologic reasons and the doctors and staff has been adequate. When we started our fertility consultations, they did not listen to my requests, would not return my phone calls to acknowledge my concerns, immediately wanted to start me on medication without diagnosing the problem, and would schedule my appointments at the wrong time in my cycle and still bill me for the visits/ procedures even though it was their clinical error. I would not recommend them if you are inquiring about fertility concerns. I am very disappointed in their medical professionals competence and their customer service.
Best drs and best staff. Dr Willis is the kindest and most caring dr. Super thorough and high energy. They work with me financially and my schedule.I feel they definitely shine more as a clinic with pregnancies and OBGYN.I went here before for regular Gynocologist appointments and it was a good experience. But I have great experiences with my appointments now that I’m expecting. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for sure!
I have been a longtime patient of Dr. Layne and she delivered my youngest. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this clinic. I also love love love the PA, Diana. She is caring and very thorough and a huge asset to Four Seasons. Great doctors and staff!
I wouldn’t trust going to this place. They are not fully transparent or return calls. Constant billing issues(even when you pay cash). You will wait days or if I’m office at least an hour. They push medications without knowing or understanding your full history. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I cared about.
I’m a guy, so I can’t speak to the normal day-to-day events that take place at 4 Seasons. However, I can speak of their treatment of my wife during the delivery of her three beautiful children. I can’t imagine another group of doctors taking care of my growing family. Dr. Willis and Dr. Boren were amazing through the whole process. The other doctors, though they were not part of the delivery, are amazing as well.
Filled out the web form to request a new patient appointment. Was told someone should be in contact after 24-48 hours, but have not heard back in over a week. Also called scheduling office and left a message requesting for a callback and did not receive a response.
I have been coming here for almost 3 years now and Im very pleased with the care I always receive here. Always very little wait time an Autumn the P.A I see is always very polite and is very thorough, and answered every question I have.We are considering moving away from Tyler but honestly having them there for me during the birth of my first child might be reason to stay.
Lack of patient care. Was rushed through everything I was in to do. Felt just like another cow that they were herding through. The nurses and doctor were extremely rude and had zero kindness. The front desk person was also very rude and acted like I was a burden she had to help. Never would I recommend this place to a friend.
Let me start by saying that Dr Newton is amazing. She delivered 2 of my babies and I wanted her to deliver my 3rd.But there have been some changes to the office recently that are quite disappointing.Firstly, I was told that everything has to be ran thru billing first before I could even be scheduled to see my dr.Then, I was told that I HAD to see my dr that week since I was 8 weeks along. Which didn’t work with my schedule, but the receptionist was very adamant and did not seem to care. Most importantly, I was told we could not bring other children to appointments. This was the last straw. I have a preschooler who stays home with me and literally have nobody else to watch her. I was essentially told that was their policy now due to COVID. When I explained that I would have to switch drs since I don’t have child care, that’s when the receptionist got snarky and told me that I was “welcome to try, but pretty much every OB office is doing this”.I called multiple offices and found many options where other children were allowedYou are an office that serves WOMEN. Many who are single. Or just moved here. Or are unemployed and cannot afford sitters every month. Such a shame that your office policies are ostracizing these women. COVID is a real threat, but if you would take a moment to THINK about your policies, you might realize how ridiculous they are.
Our insurance isnt that great so our out of pocket cost was a little high, despite that it was worth every penny. Especially when it came time to deliver, dr willis was phenomenal, along with the nurses that came in with tyler ut east texas health, we were treated very well, thank you very much to all the nurses that helped us out at ut tyler yall were fantastic :)
Unprofessional. Businesses reached out to clients to let them know they would be closed. Here i am on my way to office when a little birdie in my ear said call them. I wouldve been beyond livid had I drove way to this clinic to find out they were closed because they didnt have the decency to text thier patients and let early appointments know they wouldnt be open. Yall knew yall wasnt coming in yesterday.Update.I received a letter saying that my care was being discontinued because I wasnt following scheduling. What scheduled appointments was missed besides the one that yall didnt have the deceny to cancel in regards to a snow storm that never happened. The date on the letter had to be a mistake because it was dated the same day none of yall showed up for work when it didnt even snow half an. Inch🙄 I cant make this up. This office gave me bad vibes from this jump. Hate to say it but I was right about yall. Im glad I switched my care. Get it together.
My fiance went to this doctors office back in 2014. She said it was great but there was a problem with the financial part of her visit. About a year after her visit she noticed that the office had sent a paid bill to collections and it was place on all three bureaus. She called in and it was supposed to be removed from the bureaus. A year later she noticed it was still on the third report and called the office. They told her that the bill was paid but they could not do anything about it and she would have to contact the creditor. I am not sure how the doctors are, but pushing a companies mistake onto the customer is not professional at all.
Yesterday was my first visit, saw Autumn Warnock and was very happy with the overall experience. . She was patient, kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. Everyone is professional and well educated. She certainly has my vote!!
I have been coming here for a few years, but it has gone down hill. I have called numerous times to try and change my appointment dates to days I can come, but no one ever seems to want to answer the phone. They don’t listen to my needs when I can make it to appointments, and won’t give refils on birth control unless you book appointments. I’m full time student and full time working, so I have no time to go to an appointment. Very unsatisfied with their professionalism, and will be finding a new doctors office.
Horrible. This place is suppose to be a place that you are excited to go to for your first baby apt to build your family & it’s not even family friendly. Brought my husband and my 14 month old son to 1st ultrasound & they said my husband & son couldn’t go in because no children allowed. They literally sat outside of the building because they couldn’t come to see the first ultrasound let alone even sit in the waiting room. Unbelievable. I literally cried the whole apt.
The staff here is absolutely amazing! They make you feel listened to, comfortable and important! I recommend this facility to anyone having a baby !
Ended up meeting all the doctors in less than 2 days unexpectedly and they all took wonderful care of me and have been for over a year now. Great staff as well there!!! Would Definitely recommend for any woman for their care.
My daughter went for her first appointment with this office. We had heard so many awesome things about the Doctors here. She is currently covered under BCBS insurance. As she was leaving and discussing insurance info, billing etc she told the lady that at some point she would be switching to her husband’s insurance Tri Care (Military insurance)and asked if they accepted it. The lady said “ no, we don’t give FREE RIDES here.” FREE RIDES? I understand if they don’t accept that insurance but why did she make that comment? Freedom isn’t free!! And we come from a long line of Veteran’s who have fought for our country!! Very disappointed and will be changing Doctors even before she changes insurance due to the lady’s comment.
My wife went in for an appointment and the receptionists were looking her up and down and snickering at her when she walked in and said because she did not establish a doctor there prior that they had no openings and that she should just find a general doctor at ETMC. What an ugly way to treat new patients. Please find more mature people to run your business. I own a company here in Tyler and my wife is in sales. A little advice to treat everyone with respect because you don’t know how a network of connections could ruin your own business with one bad customer service encounter.
(Be sure you read the additions Ive made, theyre important)I saw Dr. Elise Elliot today. I see the negative reviews on here and I have to wonder if perhaps people went in the wrong door to some other place, because my experience was quite positive. I had no problems with the staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. There was little to no wait time, neither in the lobby nor in the exam room, and there were people there for their appointments so no, it wasnt empty. As for any doctors visit, I recommend you call for an appointment or have your family doctor call in a referral for you.Later addition: I will say this, dont wait for the surgery nurse to call you with a schedule. You call and hound them until you get a date or else they might forget to call you completely.Another later addition: During my surgery, Dr. Eliot recommended a sleep study for me, though I had never complained about sleep apnea. Believe me, my husband is awake often enough he would have noticed. He listens intently to my breathing as I have asthma. But Dr. Eliot would not relent. She insisted that because of answers on a questionnaire, she suspected sleep apnea. And SHE was the doctor here.I got calls, and a letter, wanting me to get this sleep study for my gynecological care. Someone tell me how my below body parts coincide with or are affected by sleep apnea. I dont ever remember having read a study about the vagina and sleep apnea. Was it titled, My Vagina Never Sleeps? Furthermore, in 4 visits Dr. Eliot never once had a complaint about my high blood pressure. Not once. The pre-op doctor mentioned it was high enough they might refuse to do the surgery and put me on a water pill. When I brought it up to Dr. Eliot in our LAST visit, she said that she preferred my regular doctor deal with that. But she wants a sleep study. You know what this smacks of? An internal agreement between doctors to send each other some business. Dr. Eliot you have lost my trust AND my business. I will seek further gynecological care elsewhere.
I have no clue why, but I set a first appointment, and someone called me back to say that the Drs could not assist me.... I have never experienced anything like this before.... That was so unusual,
Dr. Elise Elliot has gone above and beyond to comfort me through my pregnancy. It’s been a stressful ride but she’s been extremely supportive and understanding of my feelings and concerns. I definitely recommend her to all higher risk patients!
Dr. Elliott has been wonderful! She makes the atmosphere comfortable and does a great job of taking care of you! I would highly recommend her :)
FSWH was recommended by my PCP; never have been to an OB/GYN before this but 10/10 recommend this clinic. Friendly staff and awesome providers who made what can be really awkward for women a comfortable experience
Unclear about financial obligation up front. Told we had to pay one amount before my wife could be seen..then told additional money was needed upon arrival. Ultimately sent away. Not willing to work with us. Been here several times with no resolve, then going back again and again. Seems to be all about money; no real concern for the patient at all.
Did the research and the results are fabulous! Top notch care. Friendly and thorough. Highly recommend. I see Dr. Layne, however I recently discovered a close friend sees another Doctor and is thrilled.
I recently called to schedule an appointment and they are absolutely horrible. The people they have answering the phones are not only unfriendly but highly disrespectful. I got so fed up I hung up. The receptionist not only make appointments and what not, but they also give an impression of the clinic to the people calling. BY FAR the worst experience Ive ever had. Lousy first impression.
I’ve been a patient for nearly three years now. This team goes above and beyond when it comes to excellence in medical knowledge, patient care and bedside manner. If you want the best, look no further.
Was told this was a wonderful place, unfortunately this was the total opposite. I have never been treated so rudely by a physician office staff. Will definitely be using another OBG and will never recommend this office.
Very unorganized. They dropped me because I missed an appointment that I did not schedule and did not have any knowledge of. When I called to ask why I was receiving this letter the woman over the phone was very short, rude.
Its a nice place but the waiting inside the exam room is exaggeration! Ive waited up to 50 minutes just to see the doctor they do not know how to work their schedule in a correct manner at all! So unorganized!!
Its so hard to get an appt with your doctor so you always have to see a different practitioner. Also they are not willing to work with you financially. Everything is due up front they will not bill you.
Very friendly staff and thorough exam. Highly recommend 👌
Requested a new patient appointment. Supposed to hear from someone in 24-48hrs. That time frame has come and gone. I will go elsewhere.
Great experiences here. The staff has been wonderful for every visit and procedures I have had.
Very rude answering service. I am not a patient but will never be if the first person that greets me is this unfriendly!!!!
Best OBGYN in Tyler. Super nice nurses, doctors, and sonographers.
They are the sweetest ladies, every single one of them! You will not regret coming here!
The financial department staff is not reliable and irresponsible. Pick another obgyn practice.
I love the entire staff at 4 Seasons!! Everyone is nice and professional!
Great clinic, staff is always professional, Dr Willis is amazing!!
They suck i lost my baby monday becuse they would not see me then they want to call me to day i hung up on them
Friendly staff ! Dr. Newton is amazing.
Everything was great until I was turned away for a balance of $35.00. I won’t be back🤷🏽♀️
Best ob/gyn office I’ve ever been to.
Jennifer newton did my surgery and i have nothing but good things to say
Great pregnancy experience
