Jersey GYN

I know a lot of people get frustrated with the wait times, but this place only has any wait because they make sure they are taking good care of every patient efficiently. When I’m here, I know I will be seen and taken care of, so I don’t mind waiting. Someone is ALWAYS there to take my phone calls or answer my questions… sometimes even after hours. Dr. Boffard and Alicia always take extra steps to reassure me even if I’m repeating a lot of the same questions. They performed a procedure I needed practically painlessly, and I had no anesthesia by choice. That procedure was a success as well. They give you your needed mediation right there in the office, too! If you’re looking for this kind of care, then look no further because this place is always here for me.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Where do I even start. The whole staff is incompetent. Including the doctor. I spent two weeks communicating with them about the services I needed done with them. I asked multiple times on multiple occasions what they needed from me. I came in this morning. My appt was for 10:15, didn’t talk to anyone until 11am. Understandable, I’m not one to complain because I understand just how busy the office can be. But there was literally two other ppl in there. Then they finally tell me my insurance is inactive. No problem. , I called my insurance and they were able to provide me with new details of my new card. Then the receptionist tells me that they can’t accept it because it has to be a physical copy. Granted, that’s absolutely fine. So I decided to pay out of pocket. I specifically asked her if I needed to pay for anything else that same day, she proceeds to tell me no. I paid $295. After about 10 minutes of getting checked by the doctor, they tell me they can’t proceed until I’ve paid the full payment of $1600 plus tax. So in total it would have been $1895. After I tried explaining to them that no one told me I’d had to pay upfront when I called, even after I asked them multiple times if I had to pay the same day and them telling me no, they still tried to charge me extra. They refused to give me a copy of what services were rendered to me. They clearly knew I was gonna go to another clinic and wanted my paperwork, they would not give it to me. The second receptionist that was there was so cold. She does not belong in a setting like that. I swear, if she could kill patients and get away with it, I’m more than 100% she would in a heart beat. We come to professionals hoping that they’ll make things easier for us but I left feeling worse than I felt when I first came in. All they care about is taking your money. I should’ve stuck with my first choice after reading their reviews but decided to give them a chance. Biggest mistake I did. I wish this place would get shut down. This was honestly the worst experience of my life. The cherry on top, there was a lady in there breaking down because she was in so much pain and the same cold receptionist that spoke to me tells her there’s nothing she can do. To just sit and wait for the doctor. I had just come out from seeing him and could over hear him on the phone saying “I’m not taking anymore patients until I’ve had my Starbucks”. Disgusting place, disgusting ppl, disgusting attitudes. If anyone comes across this review, do yourself a favor and find another place for whatever you need. This place does not care about you but your money

I had a great experience here today with Alicia. I felt comfortable and right at home as soon as I walked into the office and was made to feel like an individual. I asked about 100 questions during my visit and was met with patience and kindness. I would recommend this location to anyone in need of any gynecological services. Hands down the most stress free experience.

Horrible place. Seems like they don’t believe in termination. They did none of the process correctly. They wanted me to have problems for months. They didn’t do the surgery right, then gave me pills without a combination method your suppose to get, I still had parts of it stuck in me after 2 months. I had to go to the hospital.

First visit here and follow-up went well. The nurse Alicia was very informative and made me feel comfortable, doctor also great. Chose this office because of reviews, speaks for itself!!

BEST DOCTORS OFFICE! Dr. Boffard and Nurse Alicia were rockstars! I never felt so comfortable in my life. Alicia was the sweetest person ever, her and the doctor make a great pair. I will recommend this doctors office to anybody! And i will be coming back :) thank you again guys!

From the moment you entered the door the nurses and front desk people were polite. Dr.boffard and his assistance did a great job at ensuring my procedure went well as well as being comfortable seeing a new gynecology. It was definitely an amazing experience with great people working there.

Huge Thank you to Steph at the office! She was such a huge help and was VERY quick to respond and answer questions. My prescription needed changed 3 times and she had it changed and faxed to the imaging location within minutes. The entire process was smooth and she took care of everything and made the process extremely smooth. (I had a million questions and I honestly thought it was a scam at first). Thank you again Steph 🥰

The staff are friendly and Dr. Boffard was wonderful in answer my question and concerns about my producers. Alicia the nurse made me very comfortable and safe during my preparation for my producers. I had a great experience n will recommend my family and friends.

I was skeptical about this place early on. My ex and I drove over 2 hours to get here and we were the first car to arrive and honestly I at first thought we drove to the wrong location but it happened to be correct. And so far I havent completed my abortion yet but so far good. Ill keep yall updated. Very friendly staff and the only other thing I want to point out is with Dr. Daryl, he wasnt clear enough with the abortion pills. They should honestly have thorough written instructions for the pill.

I just called the office trying to follow up my pregnancy with them. I was transfer to another receptionist, I asked, are you taking new patients?, to which she answered, “ no, what kind of insurance to you have”, to which I answer, “ if you are not taking new patients, which is the point of me telling you my insurance information”; she replied “ ok have a good day”. Of course I have a private insurance, that I verified with my insurance company is taken by this place. The attitude was so rude and unprofessional.

This place states there’s free pregnancy testing on their website. I waited for 40 minutes in the waiting room to be told it’s $345 and I need to make an appointment. I tried speaking with the receptionist as I first entered to verify the information, avoid the wait, and see if they took my insurance even and she told me to sign in and shut the window and walked away. When I finally just got up and wouldn’t move from the window without having my questions answered, the first words out of her mouth were, “Are you here for an abortion?” What?!!?! NOT AT ALL. I’ve been trying to conceive for years and just wanted verification from the test I took. The audacity and the rudeness and the gall of this woman is beyond belief! When I told her about their website’s claim, she simply responded with, “Alright.” To which I said, “No. Not alright. I just wasted 40 minutes of my life I will never get back.” After all that waiting, I needed to pee very badly. She refused to allow a pregnant woman use their facilities. How they care for the pregnant is a disgrace. It’s all about the $$$$ here.

Dr B and nurse Alicia were so nice. I was a nervous wreck. The nurse was supportive and they asked constantly how I was feeling. Very gentle and I felt well taken care of.

I have got to say coming to this office is always an issue. Dr bafford is very nice. But ur staff need to go. The wait time is crazy today i sat there for 1hr in a half for them to Rudely tell me Dr Bafford left and for me to see someone else. It didn’t matter that i left work it didn’t matter that i sat there all that time all i was told maybe we can squeeze u for another day or come back Monday. This office needs better scheduling Stop over booking where we have to sit there over 2 hrs. Last month when i was there they argued with me because they wanted me to pay a co-payment just to ask the doctor a question before i had surgery, I was told i need to pay to ask a question because it taking up the doctors Time forget the time that patients have to sit and wait just to see the doctor Dr bafford ik doctors has emergencies sometimes, but ur staff needs better communication skills on how to deal with patients and their attitudes stink besides Alicia who has good service and knows how to deal with patients

Was super easy to schedule an appointment. Very cozy place where I felt welcomed and understood. Highly professional stuff made me feel safe and comfortable. Everyone was so kind and caring. I honestly could not have chosen a better clinic.

The staff here were very nice!! They made me feel comfortable as possible!! The nurse and doctor were very supportive and helpful. I would recommend people to come here . You will be very pleased...

I have to say the only reasons it isnt 5 stars for me is the wait time (which is to be expected at clinics anyway) and the fact its cash only. Other than that Im so happy my mama found this place instead of where Id originally been sent to.Nurse Alicia is sweet and personable. She tries her best to make you comfortable. Dr.Boffard (sp)? Constantly asked if I was doing ok during my procedure and seemed honestly concerned. He talked me through as Alicia and he both tried to distract me to make it as pleasant as it could be.Especially compared to where Id been sent the cost by self pay seemed reasonable. As well as the fact I could trust they were honest with me unlike other place. Definitely reccomend goin here for whatever needs you have for your pregnancy.Sorry, one more thing they tried to get me in same day later on when I didnt have the cash. Since I couldnt make it they scheduled me first thing next morning.

Excellent excellent excellent service!!!!! Alicia stayed with me through my entire procedure, she made sure I was ok and she talked to me through the whole thing even though I was not fully awake. The doctor did exceptionally well and he made sure I was comfortable. They made it very easy for me even though you might feel a little nugde here and there it was bearable. Nothing to be scared about. This is not an ob/gyn this is family bcuz thats how they treat you. Thank you guys Ill be coming back for a regular check up.

My experience here was really great. The nurse and doctor was really attentive and supportive. I would recommend this place to everyone I know in the NJ area. Thank you so much for making my experience go as smooth as possible. Two thumbs up 👌👌

Receptionist didn’t even greet me and had the audacity to laugh in my face and gossip with other workers when I gave her my drivers license. Incompetent woman never seen a probationary license before? Receptionists can really make or break your business just by failing to have common courtesy. I’m a client and I’m PAYING you not the other way around. I was so turned off I didn’t even stay which is unfortunate because I’ve heard great things about the doctor & nurse themselves. oh well I’ll be took my business elsewhere.

The nurse here is marvelous and she makes you feel extremely comfortable I loved her and the staff is so nice I would highly recommend them . Very professional and clean environment . Again thank you so much for your help and compassion.

I love Dr. Boffard and his entire Staff. Everyone is super nice and very caring. Alicia and Lidia were very attentive and made sure each visit was just as comforting as the last! You guys ROCK!!

Kind, courteous and professional. I was able to get an appointment the same day, I choose the next. The nurse was exceptionally kind. The Dr. Was courteous and professional and skilled since the procedure was so swiftly done, like a regular papsmear. Very pleased. Highly recommended.

My experience at Jersey GYN was great the nurse was very nice and understanding. Both the nurse and doctor answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable. The doctor was also great too. I will recommend to Jersey GYN to people. The staff here are wonderful!!

My first time coming to this gyn on Monday the 8th and when I tell you I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was so helpful and pleasing to talk to. Mrs. Alicia assisted me, I couldn’t have ask for a better nurse. I recommend this place 100%

Very unprofessional, staff seems to be uninterested in their job. also if youd like to be awake during the whole surgical procedure then have fun at this place! picked this place over the clinic in Woodbridge and I have to say I should have kept looking.

By far the worst most unprofessional place ive ever had the displeasure of going to. This place doesnt care about helping you, just taking your money. The recieptionists laugh in your face and treat you like a joke. No one communicates with you or listens to your or takes you seriously. Sheduled me for a surgery, didnt verify any of information only for me to find out the day before my surgery that i couldnt get it. Now the staff is refusing to give me the refund the doctor himself asked me to come in to get. This place is so unprofessional. Horrible establishment. DO NOT GO HERE

Jersey Gyn has a very caring and dedicated staff. I especially loved Alicia, she was great. Dr. Adams is wonderful and I would recommend to my friends and family. Thanks guys for the speedy in and out.

I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. But i would def reccomend for surgical procedures. The nurse alicia was very sweet and caring. And Dr B was also calming. The wait was average. You have to expect waiting in any doc office.

Firendly , and knowledgeable staff. Although waiting period was too much , but the service was worth the wait. Doctor was very nice , polite, friendly and careful in the procedure. He took perfect care and asked me 100 times if i was doing ok. Thank god i found them .

The office is very clean & neat. The employees are very warm, nice & friendly. Alicia is the best ! She made me feel very comfortable & she is very knowledgeable about her job. I would highly recommend this office.

This review is for Alicia and doctor barford first off if your having any doubts as I did there is absolutely nothing to be scared of they walk you through every step of the way and make you feel comfortable procedure was fast and wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I just want to say THANK U VIA ALEXIS C

Very comfortable office. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the doctor made the experience relaxing and easy. Highly recommended!

Probably had the worst experience of my life at this clinic. The nurse was very kind and understanding but everything else was horrible. Before my procedure I had asked if I were going to be given anesthetic and I was told yes I would be numbed from the waist down. All I was given was probably a pain killer that all it did was make me feel sleepy and some Motrin . At the time of the procedure I had asked if I were going to be given the anesthetic I was then told only if necessary. turns out I never did receive any and I felt the entire process being done I was in extreme pain and had repeatly asked the doctor to stop and give me anestetic and completely ignored my request. Worst experience ever. To top it all off the doctor gave me a prescription on an old prescription slip so once I went to the pharmacy they told me those prescription slips were no longer valid and required a bar code, so I honestly dont know how this clinic had been prescribing meds to patients for this long knowing those slips arent valid anymore. Had to wait at least 3 hours for my prescription to be called in and processed. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here.. At least not to have an abortion done unless you want to be completely awake and conscious while having it done.

Amazing AMAZING! Received so much help and they answered all my questions I’d come her again & again. Even if it’s a 30 minute drive. Staff is all so friendly and quick. Come here if you need top notch service. Worth it !!! Beyond thankful for everyone here. 💕

Horrible service. Dont even greet you when you walk in, they just hand you the paper to sign your name. The wait time is ridiculously long. My appointment was at 9:45 and i didnt get called til 10:35. Also when the front desk told me i had a copay, i gave her my card but they didnt accept cards so i told her i was going to an atm down the street and she then told mw i would lose my spot because they did not have time if i walked out to do so, and she refused to let me come back the same day.

I USUALLY DO NOT RATE THIS LOW BUT they serve very vulnerable females going through difficult times, so u wouldn’t expect them to be money grabbing, ‘puppy mill’ type of office, but it’s exactly that. So if you have a choice, STAY AWAY! They do not care you are bleeding out and that there was ‘matter leftover’ after procedure. Wanted me to pay the whole thing AGAIN!!! To correct the situation. I ended up paying for anesthesiologists again, but beware! They operate with cash only and u are a walking cash cow, nothing else.

This place is a joke! The staff is absolutely terrible! Not to mention inconsiderate! I have been calling for almost a month for my test results and either they tell me that phone calls are in process and I should recieve a call today thats been every day since Oct 5! A few times calling they have told me Ive called the wrong line and would hang up!! Dont advertise on the internet a number that is an emergency line that must stay open. BUT today I got through and was told my blood results were peefect... I never had blood taken at this doctors office!! NIGHTMARE - i will be reporting this office!!

This is a comfy and friendly place. Doctor nurses and staff are awesome they make you feel comfortable warm and they make sure you are feeling good before leaving their office. :)

They have a very caring and efficient staff, Alicia was so sweet and considerate, putting me right at ease from the very start. They took excellent care of me and I’m so grateful.

I had a great experience here, everyone was pleasant and I did not have to wait long to be seen. As far as I know there is only one location in Union so keep that in mind when making the appointment.

Tried to make an appointment for an irregular pregnancy, first receptionist didn’t understand me, repeated myself again, was transferred to other girls in the office. Stayed on hold for 10-15 mins. Called again and told me you can not be seen in this office. Very unprofessional!

When at first walking in i didnt know what to expect as most do when seeing a new doctor for the first time.. however once called in I was nicely greeted by a nurse Alicia once directed to the exam room sitting awaiting instructions my nerves began to build up and got me emotional thankfully Alicia the warm hearted nurse she is sat with me and talked with helping me relax..once seen by doctor boffard i can tell he was not just one of those obgyns who just see you and youre on your way,he asked questions he awaited for an answer was very concerned about past history of clinics having gone to and how the treatments went he made me feel very at ease through out my procedure Alicia as well she stood by side and talked me through the whole situation keeping me calm..they are located in union even though i live in another town i strongly recommend this office to anyone seeking an obgyn or abortion sevices as they are an office that offer several services..

Worst place ever, I had an abortion done and pregnancy test still came out positive after 8weeks of the procedure, I went there to ask them y the am still positive and no menses yet, the nurse Alicia was very rude telling me I need to pay another money for them to check if everything is fine not only that the way she talked to me was very disrespectful like I didnt know the date I had the procedure.

They where really nice and worked at a very good paste I love them in going to make this place my regular doctor 😘😘
