Fantastic experience! I received a diagnosis and appropriate prescription for $0 and no insurance.Ms. Gonzalez MSN, APRN was so kind and gentle. My nurse was also great at her job and at drawing blood (I didn’t even feel it!). The receptionist was also very professional. I felt absolutely zero judgement from the people who work there. They also gave me like $20 worth of condoms!My heart is as big as Texas right now for such an important clinic. I feel so taken care of and as a grown man I never thought I would feel this way outside of my family. This is a ‘not-for-profit’ clinic kept in operation by the State of Texas ❤️. This is what all healthcare should be like in America.

I booked an appointment for my mom today at 10:30am I had previously gone there for my self and my appointment went okay, the ladies were very dry and not welcoming and the wait was super long but I’m not one to complain about things like that. I work in the dental field as a receptionist so i understand the waiting times, but at least try to be welcoming to the patients. Anyways, I’m the one who takes care of my mom and helps her fill out forms. The front desk lady immediately said it was only the patient so she told me to wait outside which is perfectly fine, I just wanted to let her know that my mom speaks Spanish . We waited for two hours and they finally call her in. My mom comes back out not even a minute after they called her and they told her the doctor had to leave and told her she could go to the office in McAllen right now or come back Friday. I had already asked for the morning off from work to bring her. My mom didn’t know what to do since I’m the one who brought her so I got up to ask her if we went to McAllen right now if they would send her file over , as soon as I get up to ask her the lady cuts me off and says “ma’am it’s just the patient that’s allowed here” and I’m just like okay but I’m the one who’s driving her I want to know if you guys are going to send her file over or if she’s going to have to fill everything out again and waste more time. The lady tells me “ well she’s a new patient here with us” like letting me know it doesn’t really matter if she does the whole process again. At the point I’m already over it and I just let her know that she can fax over her paperwork that way when she gets there everything is good to go. We got here to the clinic and the lady here in McAllen tells my mom that they didn’t send anything and they only send one page. So now we’re here filling everything out again because the girl from weslaco couldn’t follow through. The girls here in McAllen are much more welcoming and she even helped my mom with the forms. The girls in weslaco have no customer service etiquette, i understand this is a low cost clinic to people who need help but at least try to be more welcoming and patient, and not be so stuck up. I would recommend the office in McAllen. The girls here are more patient and nice.

Everything went great from the start to finish.The lady nurses at the front desk were extremely helpful in helping and knowledgeable.

Don’t understand why many people complain about time or ext. take a book or be on your phone, visit is literally free, u don’t see other drs office doing that. I am very content with my visit last week. From front staff to Dr very friendly and knowledgeable, all questions answered, blood work done, and birth control all that same visit. What more can you ask for free? I’ll gladly return!

They do take a little bit of time if there is a lot of people but I won’t complain with the nurses being friendly once they check you they are friendly.

It was a long wait but it was worth it coming from another state not knowing how things work they were really understanding. Really friendly staff and walked me through everything to easily understand. I appreciated their service and time, I will be recommending to more people.

Been going to this clinic since I was 19yrs old and now Im 31. Ive never had a bad experience with any of the girls or clinicians theyve always been helpful and informative when I had questions. The wait time may be long for some people but what do you expect its not a drive-tru.

Horrible experience the front desk intake girl is so rude I will be filling an official complaint with the Texas Dept of Human Services. 2-1-1. She made a remark and laughed with the other girl up front. They are not welcoming they should find another job if they are so miserable doing there job. Ladies please file an official complaint so they can be reprimanded.

First time here and i liked it friendly staff i went in for a implant and blood work and in less than 2 hrs i was out. Not bad! Thank you! Most definitely will be going back!

I dont recommend going they only have 1 dr and half the time I dont understand what she is saying. Not to mention they take so long! Ur gunna be there all afternoon! The dr is very nice but I dont understand her She rushes threw ur the exams.

Worst staff. You would think that going into a womens facility, theyd be understanding of other women but no. Theyre judgemental, rude and highly unprofessional. They should be replaced honestly, bad workers create bad jobs...

Came here and got great help. I got the texas womans health application from here and tjey helped me alot with filling out the application. Ive tried filling it out before and didnt understand it so a big thank youu from me. 👌 :) Also very nice ladies making me comfortable with my visit it does take long waiting but once youre in it doesnt take super long and rather get good service than bad because of a rush.

Had an appt. for a physical and didnt see any dr. because the dr. was not in my network after they had already verified my coverage. Got rescheduled for a second visit waited 45 min-1 hr. then was told a second time that no dr. was in network after all.

Waiting time is ridiculous. They make it seem if you make an appointment you’ll be seen quicker but that’s a lie. You still wait 3-4 hours with or without an appointment. Never coming here again.

They recommended me the birth control on the arm, I went back because I was In pain and they just said that at least it’s working after the rude comments I insisted to get it out, at the end she said she couldn’t get it out that they put it to deep and she recommended me to someone else, Very disappointed now I need surgery

Have gone a couple of times to the Weslaco office hate the girl in the front desk she wears glasses she’s super rude she thinks she’s better then anyone never says thank you or anything I don’t like her they need to talk to her or get rid of her she looks at you with so much judgment like if she’s better then you gonna report her to 211

It was the most terrible service I’ve ever had. i waited up to four hours with Appointment the staff was very rude and judgemental. Not to mention I had made an apt.

Been here a few times had appointments @8am when they open. Also was the first one to arrive but every time people came after me was called before me. The wait time is ridiculous considering I was the first one. If this happens on my next appointment I’m going to ask why and never going back.

The ladies at the front desk are very rude and unwelcoming. i’ve been denied services twice, and this second time i was eligible for services. do not recommend.

They have always helped me and still do the only thing is the wait time. You do have to wait a few hours or so before being attended.

Very friendly staff. The doctor is very informative and breaks it down to you when she is giving you health advice..

To be honest I dnt know if some of this people that work here now what there doing this is the second time the schedule me and have not be help at all they just give me the I dont qualify they havent even giving me the application. So disappointed

The wait time is ridiculous! I got seen 2 hours after my appointment, they allowed Walk Ins to go ahead.

You will wait about 3-4 hours just to be seen. They take so long.

They treated me very well...the girl in front was very kind...I had many questions and she was very patient with me. The best clinic I have ever been to!!!! Everyone is very kind, thank you 🙏

I had my appointment at 10 am, I arrived at 9 am and they didnt take me until 1 in the afternoon. I wont return to that clinic.
