Borderline unethical. Their criteria for the Casa Lola program is a first-come first-serve basis and not on severity of need. They wont care if youre going to be homeless and everyone I spoke to didnt seem to be able to offer any sort of advice. One person I spoke to on the phone had the audacity to tell me to be patient and hope it works out for you after I JUST TOLD THEM that i was probably going to end up on the street and needed the case management. Do they even actually care about the community, given the impending supreme court decision about criminalizing homelessness??

Cameron, their couples therapist, is bias, bigoted, and sabotaged my relationship. They suggested harmful, triggering exercises outside of session, and continued to solidify negative interactions after discharge of patients.Unprofessional and malevolent.

Best place in Albuquerque for trans resources. The staff is amazing, the evening support groups are perfect for peer support and an easier setting to find information about resources. It can be a bit busy or hectic during daytime drop-in hours but is overall very welcoming.

AMAZING resource for transgender folx gender questioning non-binary even parents and family of trans people they have support group meetings for trans femme people meetings for trans masc people meetings for trans youth under 24 non-binary meetings meetings for REALLY young kids meetings for parents of trans kids and they have resources for homeless trans folx and they have resources for legal name change and Thrift-a-lot is a local store that works with tgrcnm an inclusive safe space for queer folx that sells clothes and movies and shows and everything one might need to start a new wardrobe and the money goes towards supporting tgrc plus the resource center has plenty of events and activities and the meetings always have food and their library is a true testament to queer excellence in literatureAll around its a spectacular place and I truly recommend using this resource if you are a transgender or non-binary person or the parents or sibling or loved one of a transgender person it can be kind of hard to find at first as the building is pretty nondescript and theres no sign that marks the building as the trans resource center the times for the group meetings are on their website and enter through the back door (the one behind the parking gate) if youre going in for a group meeting at the designated time that the groups meet

Awesome center! They provide counseling for the transgender population going through the process of gender reassignment and numerous other aspects of life. People make assumptions about others and its very important that centers such as this exist to clarify things. Being a gay male I was a bit vague about what it meant to be transgender and I was grateful for the tour given myself by Hannah.
