You should apply if you feel you are qualified, is apparently meant to be an encouragement, so if anyone ever tells you this, apply to the job, dont assume they are saying that you specifically would only apply if you were conceited.

Other reviews seem confused? This is not a patient care location. I repeat, you cannot get your blood drawn at this location. Its the main lab that runs the diagnostic tests. Not open to public. Not a drawsite.

If I could give zero Stars, I would. I am not directly involved with this company, but my provider chooses to use them for my cancer tests. I have had other providers when I lived in another state and had a very minimal wait time for my results, but now I am waiting and waiting and waiting for results that I should have had already. This last blood draw was the second for the same test that was ordered by my doctor because this company let my specimen degrade to the point where they couldnt use it. I am beyond frustrated. It has been 3 weeks since the first draw and now It has been over a week since my second draw and I still have no results. And not only that, but hours after the first draw, they posted results that were actually from December as my current results from that day. Now I was smart enough to know that my results could not possibly come in hours, but it was ridiculous nonetheless.. ridiculous and frustrating and unprofessional. I am at the point now where Im not even sure I can trust the results when I do get them . It is sad that I have to consider that I may have to find another provider for my care because they choose this company for my blood testing.

In UNM ER and had blood work done in ER while I was waiting to be seen, I have never been so upset with the tech that drew the blood. When I got taken up to the floor, the first thing the staff asked was about my hand being so bruised and swollen. I told them I just had blood drawn. When I was discharged I immediately called TRI Core to tell them about my tech and would email my pictures of my hand after my blood drawn. They said no nessasary. They would look in to it. Yeah, right This was my last experience with TRI CORE Labs. Speak up when you are not happy with any health care issue that you have. Remember you are the patient.

They will send you to a debt collector without sending you the bill. We asked them to run the charges through our insurance and then we never heard anything from them. Then we got a letter from a debt collector. They even admitted they never sent a new bill after the amount we owed changed after going through our insurance, but they refused to recall the debt collector.

Horrible experience with TriCore billing. The asked for my insurance card, then failed to file the claim and proceeded to bill me for the whole amount. When I called them they acknowledged their mistake and said they would correct it. They didnt. Now they have billed me again an included a collection notice with the bill. Right now Ive been on hold for over 45 minutes waiting to get this straightened out. If a zero star was an option, they would earn one.

I had blood drawn in January 2019. My copay was only $5.00 because I am on medicare. Several months later I recieved a last notice bill for $146.00. I didnt owe the money and was fearful it would go to collections and I did not want my credit score to be affected so I paid it. Right away I started calling the billing office and trying to explain to them that they needed to send it back to me, since my copay was only $5.00. I called 4 times and had Medicare call them twice. A man at the Medicare office talked to them while I was on the line. The supervisor said it would be sent back to me. I have not received my money as of August 2020. The billing department is a joke.

Like other reviewers here, I have nothing but respect for the labs themselves. My husband and I have had all our blood work for through them for years. Sure, the clinics are busy, but they handle it as efficiently as possible and the phlebotomists are always friendly and professional. My problem is with billing! I had a problem because they billed some services separately for the same day/same draw on one test (not the usual practice). Insurance was confused and thought we were trying to pay a duplicate. I sat on hold for over an hour before speaking to a human. When I finally got through, the billing service agent was clearly annoyed with me the entire time and kept saying the same things. I tried to rephrase my question a thousand times to get some documentation that explains it’s not a duplicate bill. She finally said she would transfer me to a supervisor, but then hung up. I get it. Accidents happen. But I left a voicemail for them to call me back within a minute of the hang up and have yet to receive a call back (it has been over an hour). I seriously doubt I will get any resolution from them, but I am sure I will get sent to collections when they don’t get their money! Oh well, maybe the collections company will be easier to work with 🙄

I have been using Tricore for years. I had cancer and have had to have blood drawn regularly from the time I was diagnosed. Not once have I had a problem with getting prompt service. I go in, am called within a few minutes, checked in and blood drawn, all within an average of 15 minutes. The results usually show up on my online Presbyterian chart within an hour or less. Over the past 3 years, I have used the facility at Rust to have draws that were requested by my Oncologists and my PCP, and not once have I had any problems, and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and professional.

It is completely unprofessional to talk about how another patient upset you in front of full waiting area of other patients. Instead of bad mouthing a patient, your staff should be worried about getting patients in and out in timely matter. And if your employees cant be compassionate and understand that the people there are servicing are probably going through some things....they should probably get a different job

There billing department is dirty. Last year I had blood work done before my heart surgery. Anyways bluecross paid 100% of their claim as I was max out of pocket. Then in march of the next year they decide to come after for $200 of which bluecross said I have no liabillity for some random billing adjustment. Long story short, the ahowls are taking me to collections after stating I signed a document that gives them the right to come after me for any amount the insurance doesnt cover. The claim was already paid in full by bluecross. If anyone else is having this issue, please email me so we can a lawsuit going together.

4 for the usual service in person, 1 for the telephone customer service. As I write this, I have been on hold for 30 minutes. Ive listening to the same 3 or 4 announcements over and over again, and Im about to lose my mind. Honestly, I expect better customer service from a local company. If my business treated people this way, wed be out of business fast. Must be nice to have a captive audience; you dont have to try too hard.

I went to Tricore lab at the UNM Clinic on 4th street to get several vials of blood drawn. I signed in with their entirely automated system, then sat for 15 minutes while nothing happened. There werent any other patients. Turns out the electronic check-in DID NOT WORK and the tech asked me to sign in AGAIN. Finally, I was taken into the lab, after the checkin details were finished. I asked the technician to give me a one two three - and I repeated that several times. INSTEAD, she just rammed that thing into my arm and BLOOD SPURTED EVERYWHERE! It was all over my clothes, the chair, my arm. It looked like a crime scene. I asked her how long she had been doing this and she told me two years. She should have the BASIC SKILL down pat by the time she starts working on patients. I also asked her why she didnt give me the one two three I asked for and she said, I dont do that for anyone. She says that, in her experience, everyone moves when she gives them that warning, which is definitely NOT the case for me. I have never moved when given a one-two-three warning and I have NEVER in all my life had a technician spurt blood all over the lab from jabbing me. That technician needs re-training and they need to get rid of that electronic sign in because it is unreliable.

I hate Tricore with a passion. Their billing department is absolute garbage. Two years ago when I had student health insurance, I got some bloodwork done. Flash forward a year with no bill (I assumed all of my insurance had paid for it), I get urgent calls from collections agencies. Apparently I owed these people $800. Turns out they USED THE WRONG AND OUTDATED HEALTH INSURANCE CARD. Are you kidding me? Thats basically fraudulent. After fighting with these people for another half a year, I finally got them to use the right card and bill the right insurance, dropping the price to $250.So I get more bloodwork done with UNM this time, under their student health insurance, in December. I just now got a bill (invoice date: 2/15) and it says that Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. And I got a call from another @#@#ing collections agency today. YOU PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE. BILL ON TIME. STOP TRYING TO DROP MY CREDIT SCORE. GAH!!!! Words and Caps Lock cannot express my disdain for this company.

Fraudulent billing practices. Tricore ignores insurance and just bills the patient. Billing office has poor hours, they make it intentionally hard for people to contact them. This operation needs new leadership, Robin Devine needs to step down and let someone competent run and fix this operation.

I went to the lab on Harper. You wait in a crowded room with not enough chairs, take a number and wait and wait and wait. When I finally got to a receptionist, she said it would be another 10 minutes before they could get my orders processed. Bored staff and not enough space or staff to handle the patient load. I watched several people just give up and leave. I am from Minnesota and horrified at this kind of bad medical care in New Mexico. And this is supposedly the best lab. Disgusting. The phlebotomist was excellent but the check in process left a very bad taste.

The worst experience ever at the TriCore Lab on Las Estancias! First, after waiting more than 30 minutes they skipped my number. They went from A032 to A034. I asked the tech Kendra why that happened and she was very rude with no answer. My 1 year old son had to get blood work and she was very aggressive and unprofessional. She threw the tubes on the counter and acted as if we were bothering her from her lunch hour or something. I asked her for her full name so I can complain and she stated You dont need to know that Never in my life have I had such terrible terrible customer service!

If they say their hours are up to 5pm, call and confirm this. Supposedly, they stop accepting patients at 4:45pm, but they dont advertise that. They advertise 5pm. So, I thought they were open to 5:00, only to be turned away because even though they are open until 5, they take their last patient at 4:45. Tricore, I recommend changing your hours or changing the hours you advertise.

Inefficient. Ive been sitting here for almost 30 minutes. The girls who are supposed to be checking people in are talking about wedding planning. No one has been called back for 10 minutes. I even asked them if they could help me. They said no and continued talking. Im going to be late for a meeting.

Billing department is completely incompetent. I have insurance and Tricore sent me a bill for hundreds of dollars. Called and asked why, Tricore stated they accidentally did not bill insurance but assured me it would be taken care of. 2 months later I get a collection agency notice for the outstanding Tricore balance. My advice is tell your doctor you refuse to use tricore. If you must use tricore, record everything because they will flat out deny any wrongdoing!
