RMA is the best choice possible! The nurses & doctors care about YOU! Their goal is to make you happy and get you pregnant. No questions asked, no trials, gimmics, lets try this or that. They start off with a set plan, give you a financial advisor, your own nurse that you can personally talk to whenever. Everything is well detailed, explained, understood. I would highly recommend RMA over & over & over again! Prayers & good luck at all you future mama’s looking to make your dreams come true at RMA!
My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our time spent with RMA! We were blessed with the most amazing team who helped walk us through every step of our journey. Despite the challenges we faced on our fertility journey, we felt confident that we were in the best hands! During the tougher times they were there with an abundance of empathy and support. And celebrated along with us when we graduated with our little girl. We are forever grateful!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience with RMA Lehigh Valley. We moved here from the DC area and were worried whether we would receive a welcoming experience given we are a lesbian couple. As soon as we walked in the door, we were welcomed and felt at home. The doctor and nurses felt like family to us and the only bad part of the treatment was leaving; however, it was a happy goodbye as we were successful with our first IVF transfer. The appointments were flexible with our work schedule and lab results were completed hours after you leave. I love that we dealt with Dr Gueye the entire time, no seeing multiple doctors. Dr Gueye, NP Brittany, and Nurse Beata were the best. We highly recommend RMA Lehigh Valley and will be returning when we expand our family again. 5 Stars!
We had the best experience since we had our consultation. We asked so many questions and they answered all of our answers. We never felt judged or felt any negativity from anyone in the office. They were all amazing! I wish we can continue to see them during my pregnancy. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
I was very pleased with the experience we had with the staff at RMA. They were reassuring and supportive and answered all our questions. Never had to wait long for results to come back and my nurse was always there to help answer my questions and ease my stress and worry. So thankful they were apart of this journey with us.
The RMA team is amazing! They make sure you constantly felt comfortable and explain everything in detail. We can’t thank them enough for helping us start our family!
We had a tremendously long, difficult fertility journey with multiple miscarriages and doctors that would slap generic protocols on us. It wasn’t until we transferred to RMA LV that we got good retrieval results and are currently pregnant with a healthy baby. I cannot thank Dr Gueye, BJ, and the rest of the team enough for getting us here!
Dr. Gueye and the entire team at the Lehigh Valley office helped make our dream of starting a family come true. After we had our initial consultation with Dr. Gueye, my husband and I felt confident that our IVF treatment would be successful. Dr. Gueye is one of the most dedicated doctors I’ve ever met. She truly cares about all of her patients. Our nurse, Tara M., was compassionate and there for us every step of the process. Our son has completed our family and we could not be more thankful!
I cannot express how grateful I am for the RMA team. They made the IVF process so easy and really took their time with me. I cannot thank them enough. The RMA gave me this wonderful gift, each person you work with in rooting for you each step of the way.
Everyone’s fertility journey is difficult in it’s own way, and mine has been no exception. Fortunately, I chose RMA to help me navigate it, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people who work there. From my experience, everyone from Dr. Gueye to the nurses and secretaries are thoughtful, compassionate, and truly care about you as a person. I have never felt like nor been treated like just a number. My nurse is Becky and she has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND what I ever would have expected or hoped for. She has been there for me through all of the joy and all of the pain and for that I could not be more thankful to have been assigned to her. My journey has been a very long and trying one, but I can confidently say that RMA of Lehigh Valley and it’s staff is the reason I am blessed with one incredible daughter and another on the way. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!
Fortunately we’re pregnant! Unfortunately, after a year and a half of failure at RMA, it was not through them. I know people with straightforward cases who were able to get pregnant successfully at RMA. I also know many people who, like us, have had multiple failed transfers/miscarriages and RMA has no answers besides “let’s try again” or “maybe it’s time to give up”.Dr. Gueye is very personable and nice. However, her bedside manner is lacking. She did not know who my wife was after she’d been a patient at her clinic for 13 months. She would consistently recommend options that made no sense in our particular situation, things that would be clear had she been more familiar with our chart/history. Fertility clinics do not seem like the place where a patient should be present for a year, and if they are the clinicians damn well should be focusing on helping them specifically instead of recommending cookie cutter approaches.Thank goodness we found Dr. Martin at Shady Grove Fertility in Warrington, PA. He took the time to sit down with us and critique the failures and missteps of RMA, and developed a plan for success. Dr. Martin told us how the lab makes a difference, and our embryos were better quality than from RMA. 7 months after beginning at his clinic, we had our first transfer, and now we have a beautiful baby on the way. It’s certainly frustrating looking back and knowing what could have been, if we started at Shady Grove instead of RMA, and how this journey has now taken multiple years. However, we are blessed to have a child soon entering this world. To anyone at RMA who does not have success with 1 or 2 IVF transfers: do not give up, but you need to switch to another clinic.
I started fertility as a single woman, almost 40 years old and not wanting my happiness of having a family pass me by bc I didn’t have a partner. I walked into Dr. Gueye’s office and told her my story and my goals not knowing my what this chapter of my life would look like. Not only were Dr. Gueye and Brittany’s knowledgeable and optimistic, but their bed side manner was unmatched, Not only did I have them but I also had an amazing team including my nurse, Becky. Becky always made herself available, answered whatever questions I had, she was always so positive when when she didn’t have great news to share. These women all were so genuine and felt as if they truly cared about me. I didn’t feel like a number, I felt like I was part of their family. They were always rooting for me through every step of the process, encouraging me through the tougher parts. When Becky called with bad news I could hear it in her voice. I felt like Becky, Brittany, Dr. Gueye and all of the other amazing women not only were there for the ups and downs but they felt every low with me and were their for the positive moments. It takes really special people to do the jobs they do. I’m so grateful these women crossed my path in life, so thankful they were part of my journey… I only wish I could stay with them through the entire pregnancy (and beyond) however they gave me a gift I will have forever and I’ll forever be grateful for them, for their knowledge, for their empathy, for their hospitality and all of the amazing attributes they have shown in the short time our paths have crossed.
In a state with so few options for those struggling with fertility, we chose RMA, yes, because my wifes insurance has an exclusive contract with them, but also because we heard about a clinic in upstate NY that while much cheaper for IVF, treats its patients like numbers in a factory, with no concern over the journey youve been on and the emotions behind it. Sadly, RMA wasnt much better after one consult. Muddled blood work, a rude nurse Becky, and a very strict This is how we do things attitude. This journey is a very personal one, and a complete lack of compassion, complete with a smug Sorry you feel that way upon exit, lets us know this is a BUSINESS first, and help for couples struggling to conceive last.
After 3 tries, my husband and I became pregnant. All the shots and bloodwork is worth it! Cant wait to meet our little boy in November!
Absolutely loved RMA. This is the 2nd review I’m writing bc I think it’s important to give a review after the process is said and done. I left another review early on in our journey. Our first round of IVF was fortunately success. However, it’s a very difficult and stressful process to go through even w the success of a pregnancy at the end of it.What I loved most about RMA was the staff and Dr Gueye. Everyone was so patient, kind and understanding. You really felt that the decision makers in your journey were knowledgeable. I felt safe leaving my journey up to them. One thing I would mention would be the quick turn around of a lot of next steps and not a lot of explaining on why/how things should be done. I can only assume that this occurred bc the staff is so used to the process, they don’t think to thoroughly explain what’s happening or what to expect in certain situations. I am a very detail oriented person and need to know as much as I can in unfamiliar situations. One example, leading up to the embryo transfer, I of course had to do POIs. I thought it would just be the 6 days leading up to the transfer date. I wasn’t told until after that date that the POIs would go on until I was 8.5ish weeks pregnant. With that said, I do understand staff doesn’t want to overwhelm the patients, but I think it’s different for everyone. I need to know what’s coming next. This could just be a personal preference.Overall, I would absolutely recommend RMA to anyone having trouble conceiving! Thank you for giving us a chance that couldn’t have happened w out science.
My husband and I have been TTC for 4 years with no luck, we turned to RMA and I’m so HAPPY we did. Everyone there has been so helpful and patient with us as we navigate through IVF. Hopefully we will have our baby soon! I know RMA will do everything they can to help us become parents. Highly recommend!!
I can not express how much i loved everyone at RMA. From Stephanie at the front desk, Dr. Gueye, the nurses, the finance department etc. everyone is amazing. Very personable and just makes you feel comfortable. At one point I felt bad because i asked questions about my insurance coverage over and over again but Allison let me know it was more than ok and that’s what she was there for. She answered all my questions no matter how many times I may have asked the same one. Although we did not end up going through with treatment because of insurance coverage i am thankful to have met so many wonderful people.
The staff at RMA treated me with the utmost respect and answered all of my questions fully. They are knowledgeable and always aim for success. I will continue working with them and highly recommend their team.
RMA of PA has the most caring doctor, nurses and staff I have ever encountered. My husband and I were trying to conceive for 6 years. We now have 2 beautiful children thanks to RMA of PA and NJ. I am so sad that our journey of having children is over because I won’t be able to see the amazing people at RMA anymore. I thank my lucky stars everyday for everything they did for our family! Without them I wouldn’t be a mommy! I love you all!
There are no words I can write to tell anyone how much I love all the doctors, nurses and staff at RMA. The support, love and encouragement from everyone made this strenuous processs barable. As I had my last appointment there today as I am finally pregant. I left bawling my eyes out becase the staff made my dream a reality and I will forever be grateful.
I will never have enough words to express how amazing they are at RMA. Dr. Gueye and staff go above and beyond for their patients. They take the time to listen and understand your needs. Their compassion for the struggles that their patients go through is unmatched anywhere else. I will be forever grateful to RMA for helping give me the greatest gift I have ever gotten.
Where do I even start here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Since the very first visit here, the staff, nurses and doctors have made us feel so comfortable. Its never an easy thing to have to come to one of these facilities but I am so grateful and happy this was the one I chose. Dr. Gueye was amazing from day 1. She is very straight forward, informative and very calm. She was up front with us when she gave us our options and thats all we could have asked for. My nurse Becky, she was with me from the very beginning and she was so on top of everything. Every step of the way she was there and I never once felt like just another patient. It felt like a family. In the end, we were blessed with twin girls. When we found out they were girls everyone was surprised and it was just so amazing. I cant say enough about RMA and our experience there. I highly recommend going here for any infertility questions or concerns. You will never be disappointed! Thank you again to everyone here who helped us with our little miracles
The office and staff are top notch! I have seen Dr. Gueye and her team for a year. We tried many different routes to get pregnant and they were all very patient and helpful. They answered many questions we had and were a great support system. Without RMAs team I don’t think our dream of starting a family would come through. I would recommend this practice to anyone. They became our family and knew us better than most. Since I “graduated” from their practice I miss the service and level of concern they had.
This place helped all my dreams of being a mother come true. May God continue to bless the hands and familys that make this possible
My first appointment with Dr. Gueye and I absolutely love her ❤️! She took her time with me and answered my questions. Shes very passionate and dedicated ! Looking forward to our journey ahead!
Although the doctors and nurses at this clinic are great and compassionate people, its a shame that our positive experiences with them have gotten muffled by our interactions with the finance department. We first started our journey with Terri who was assigned to us, we provided her with our insurance provider and were told wed have to pay copays which we gladly accepted. A few months into our journey, my husband and I switched insurance providers (new job) and notified her of this change. We told her we had gotten Progyny. She billed Progyny for the first few months before we even got this new insurance despite the fact that we already paid for them and settled them using our old insurance plan. RMA essentially got paid twice for their services. We didnt find this out until our new financial adviser Allyson told us about how many smart cycles we had left which didnt match our personal records. At this point the misunderstandings began to build on eachother. We explained that we shouldnt have gone through as many smart cycles as theyre claiming because we didnt have Progyny before the insurance start date. With a lot of back and forth between RMA and the insurance companies, we were finally able to get our smart cycles back, but then came another problem. We received a bill in the mail for an exuberant amount of money. It turns out the insurance company took their money back from RMA because RMA shouldnt have billed them twice for services that had not been done before the start date of this insurance company and now RMA is expecting us to pay for these services despite the fact that we had already paid for them at the beginning. With frustrations running high, weve tried calling our financial adviser on numerous occasions only to get the voice-mail and a follow-up email asking what wed like to discuss. Emails arent answered in a timely manner and simply setting up an appointment to physically meet in person to resolve this months long issue has been neglected. So yes, if you want to give RMA a try, the doctors and nurses here are fantastic but youd have to make sure you keep an eye on the finance department or youll be dealing with a similar situation. I just hope someone, somewhere sees this and decides to reach out to us to resolve this, because in the end all we want is some help with starting our family, not money/insurance headaches.UPDATE**We were able to get into contact with someone from their headquarters to resolve the problem after posting our review. So Im going from a 2 star to 4 star review. Thank you for working with us in figuring out what happened and resolving it!
Absolutely 5 stars! I had a great experience at RMA Lehigh Valley. My wife and I moved to the area almost 2 years ago and were on the search for a fertility clinic - RMA seemed like the right option for us. And it was! From start to finish I felt like my nurse and the doctor listened to me and provided me with great care. Its scary going through a fertility journey (especially during COVID), so my nurse in particular was the best sense of comfort throughout the whole process. I had a successful egg retrieval and embryo transfer - and Im pregnant and due at the end of November! Highly recommend.
Have had a lot of friends who had great experiences here, unfortunately I cannot say the same for us. If you are more of a complex case I would not recommend them. Our situation was a bit different and after a failed retrieval with them we asked what the next steps would be and they suggested using the same meds, so no change in protocol, just “upping” the dosage. The whole experience was negative, and not positive at all..it seemed I would leave every appointment crying and was not encouraged at all. We also dealt with a ton of stress because there was a major miscommunication with anesthesia for our retrieval which resulted in it almost not happening…and on top of all this, we were overcharged which wasn’t caught until after our failed retrieval. A lot of mishaps and wouldn’t want anyone else to experience that considering everything you are already going through. We left and went to a different clinic in the valley who put more thought into our case and we were able to have a successful retrieval with double the amount of eggs retrieved.
The members of my care team were always available to address my questions and concerns, and provided excellent communication regarding my care. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about the patients, and their experiences and outcomes.
I beg that you do not make the same mistake that my wife and I made. To those of you struggling to start your family, I know what you are going through. The ups and downs of looking at a new month as an opportunity and the heartbreak of seeing a single line month after month. Unfortunately, RMA fails to concern themselves with these personal feelings and emotions from a customer service standpoint. My wife and I have spent the last 13 months trying to conceive to no avail and none of that time felt more frustrating, embarrassing, and demoralizing than the three and a half hours we spent at our one and only meeting with RMA. It was next to impossible to make an appointment as they are booked four months in advance so please plan accordingly when trying to schedule. The doctor spent all of five minutes with us strictly to provide a rehearsed sales pitch. When presented their hours of operation which provide zero flexibility, we were informed “Well we were unaware that you were a teacher when we scheduled you,” as if this is a codeword to be seen as soon as possible. After being poked, prodded, and passed around like a football from one nurse to another for various tests we met with our assigned nurse Tara. Tara has a personality best suited for that of a daycare worker which comes across as tone-deaf given her actual profession as she failed to acknowledge the gravity of our situation and pressured us, to the extent that it could be categorized as bullying, to make an immediate commitment to continue as a patient of RMA. My wife and I were then immediately presented a layout of what the cost of various procedures would be if we decided to continue by Teri who informed us that payment plans are not provided. Nonetheless, my wife and I were hellbent on just moving forward as we just wanted results and could ignore the rest. We attempted to contact the facility with further questions and concerns and found it impossible to contact our assigned nurse Tara. Days later, Tara sent an email informing us that she is not required to answer phone calls or emails post-2:30PM which does not provide a patient any reassurance that they are the top priority or any priority for that matter of the nurse. After requesting that we be assigned to a new nurse, we were informed by the doctor that RMA has decided to no longer accept us as patients under their care and refused to refer us to any local practices. Never have I seen such a mockery made of the Hippocratic Oath than what RMA presents as health care.
This is my second time using their services and both times I found them caring and helpful. I always had positive interactions with all of the staff who truly want to do everything they can to reassure you and help you through the process. I love the new doctor Gueye she is so sweet and hard working! On top of loving the staff, having the extra support to answer questions and see your peanut in those first 8 weeks is so special. After one year of trying on your own, give them a call. You’ll be glad you did!!
Dr. Gueye and her staff are wonderful. I would recommended anyone wanting to grow their family to contact RMA at Lehigh valley. From my initial consult they have been nothing but efficient and supportive. After meeting with the team they put a plan in place and started my next cycle. Dr. Gueye is amazing. I had laparoscopic surgery and barely have any scars. She is confident, friendly, and is beyond amazing at what she does. Tara, my nurse, has been supportive from day one. She always calls and answers my messages within a timely manner. She always allows me to ask questions and never gets frustrated. The staff is great including the front desk, phlebotomist, NP, financial advisors and all the nurses. I am so happy I choose RMA Lehigh valley and I’m looking forward to the next step of my care!
There are so many words to describe the RMA of Allentown office. I drove over an hour just to go to one of the top 3 in the nation fertitly doctor office. And it was the hands down best office best staff ever! They are the most caring, wonderful, beautiful people ever! They explained in detail from day one going forward to we conceived.ALWAYS got back to you same day!!! With all results and all your questions answered!! So much blood work and ultra sounds and testing. But it was so worth it! And we truly couldn’t be more then blessed to have our son due in the next 4 weeks. Our hearts are so full and we truly thank each and everyone of you at that office. Dr, nurses and much more! You all are truly the best that has ever happened to us into making our family! Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts!
Switched to this facility after having a bad experience at my previous fertility doctor. These ladies here are awesome. They are all so caring, know you on a first name basis, and go above and beyond every time you are there. The doctors are great, the nurses are great, all the workers are just awesome. They constantly communicated results, updates, etc. I was at the facility for about 5-6 months before getting pregnant and I have not one complaint.
Back in November 2019 I was diagnosed with pcos. My husband and I were trying to concieve for a year prior to being referred to RMA. From the moment we walked into their office we felt safe! I felt heard for the first time since trying to have a baby. Dr Gueye and our nurse BJ and all of the staff were absolutely wonderful! They did abundance of testing on myself and my husband which made us feel good and first round of IUI worked for us!!! We are forever grateful for RMA!! Thank you all for being such caring and wonderful professionals! We can’t wait to meet our little one in February!!
I had a great experience at RMA Lehigh. My nurse Beata was amazing and always available when needed. Dr. Gueye was knowledgable and took the time during my visits to answer my questions. Everyone at RMA is kind. The office runs efficiently. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a fertility specialist.
My husband and I have had an amazing experience with RMA so far. Beginning the fertility process is not easy, however the calming atmosphere and amazing staff at this location has made this process as least stressful as it possibly can be. All staff, including receptionists, nurses, financial department, and of course Dr. Schillings are all passionate at what they do and are all very accommodating for individual couple needs. I would highly recommend RMA to any family or friend in the need of fertility treatment.
This was by far the most traumatizing experience of my life. This review goes for RMA NJ and PA. Ill start with the positive: The nurse for blood work in PA was the sweetest person. The rest of the staff was unfriendly. I felt unsupported, totally lost in the process. To give an exemple, I remember rushing to the specialty pharmacy like a drug addict to get another dose of treatment and pay $3000 for one shot because RMA decided so the same day. They misplaced my IV which is extremely painful. They sent me home on the same day of my procedure, I was in tears, and could barely walk to the car because of the pain. By the time I got home, my husband had to call an ambulance to get me to the ER because the pain was so bad I couldnt breathe nor talk. RMA said they had warned me that it could be painful and that their facility is not designed for overnight stay. Really?! The list goes on but Im not comfortable sharing it publicly.
They examined me at one of the appointments, they introduced something to me and I never understood why it was very painful. I explained to them that I was 100% fertile, but that my husband had problems with motility. In another appointment they told me that with them there was no possibility of getting pregnant due to my husbands situation, but that he was going to refer me for RMA in NJ where the Doctor who received us told us that why they had sent us if there was 85% chance of getting pregnant. At that time we decided to find another place because we understood that it was due to racism. We did the procedure in Puerto Rico for $9,000 plus medication costs and we have a beautiful son.
Absolutely amazing and kind staff. So far they have been perfect partners in this journey. It’s not easy but they make it as stress free as possible. Thankful I choose RMA
These folks were amazing. Had it not been for these amazing doctors and nurses, we would not have our amazing little boy. So impressed with their level of caring and attention to detail. The staff is amazing and know what they are doing. When we finally conceived, we got to take our picture in front of the tree of life. Such a cool experience. They even called back after the birth to see how the baby was (I transitioned out to my regular doc at 12 weeks).Cant say enough nice things about this place!
RMA was the best thing that ever happened to us! We struggled with infertility for 2.5 years. I had previously been to a different clinic in the Lehigh Valley however, when I found out my insurance provider would be starting a Fertility Care Program I found out my old provider was out-of-network and the only clinic in-network was RMA. Which was originally our reason for making the switch and I am so glad we did. Our first consultation was January 23 and I had made it very clear I was done with testing/IUIs and I was ready to move onto IVF. Dr. Gueye was very supportive of this decision and by April 2nd I was going in for my egg retrieval, and by May 27th I had my first frozen embryo transfer. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Dr. Gueye is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions. I also enjoyed having a direct nurse to contact at any point in time. Whenever I had a question or issue she was always there and very responsive/supportive. I can happily say we are finally pregnant for the first time ever and this is all thanks to RMA.
Going through infertility is very stressful, and all of the staff at RMA are so understanding at how difficult of a time this can be for a family. From the friendly receptionists who greet you at 6:47 by name with a smile every-other-day, to the phlebotomists who make taking your blood quick and painless (even if you are afraid of needles), to Jaunita (CNRP) and Dr. Schillings who thoroughly explain what is going on and all of the options, and to the nurses, especially BJ, who are so passionate and caring it seems that they truly go thorough the journey with you. I had a lot of difficulty and heartbreak through my journey at RMA, but now I am blessed with a beautiful baby girl. She is our miracle rainbow baby, and I am thankful to RMA for her everyday.
We had the most supportive, involved, and positive experience at RMA. Despite obstacles we faced with getting pregnant we always had consistency, support, eduction and communication with our entire team! We are very thankful for our miracle and RMA!
Everyone at the RMA office was so kind and caring during my difficult time trying to conceive. They helped me conceive through IUI and it was a success! Dr Gueye was my dr, she was wonderful!
I am now 15 weeks pregnant with twins thanks to RMA. I am so thankful, specially with Dr. Gwey and Sue and Michelle. Not only they know what they are doing, but they are absolutely efficient and caring. I had two failed invitros before, so when they told me I was pregnant, it was pure magic. Thank you so much for being amazing. Claudia G. 45.
2.5 years, 2 Reproductive Endocrinologists and lots of heartbreak all with no explanations. Then someone referred us to RMA. The doctors and nurses there were straightforward and they know what they are doing. We couldnt be happier with our journey through RMA.
A little over a year ago, my wife and I started the process to conceive our first baby. Its been an emotional roller coster to say the least. We spend over 5O thousand dollars, left empty handed along with no money and no baby. They put my wife life at risk, because they didnt follow through with proper testing after two miscarriages the doctors said they couldnt proceed with another procedure, due to the death risk a pregnancy may cause. They diagnosed her with a rear condition and said they cant do any other fertility treatment. This fertility center should have properly tested my wife and ensure safety and health in a every level before putting her through this painful process. We have not heard from this office nor has anyone reached out to us with concerns or regards about what happened. We try reaching the practice and no one answers. Please be advised if you choose to use this office.
Pros and ConsPros: I got pregnantCons: Everything elseOur story was slightly different. We walked in after marrying late (42 and 37 respectively). We decided we wanted to try to have a child together (I already had 2 children aged 18 and 8) and removed my IUD. We came in and asked for everything to be tested, since age is often an issue at this stage. This included sperm count for my husband. They were shocked that he was willing to be tested at all. They were shocked that we joked and took all of this with a mindset towards data and preparedness. Which is a good place to note, most people are coming in at a harder place. They are vulnerable and this is the last stand against a desperately held desire/hope. They are coming after years of trying, struggling, and losing a battle that seems like a failure of their bodies; a betrayal of the most basic human function, to procreate.RMA (and perhaps those in the same business), are running a program that treats this reality with callous indifference, on a good day. Its an assembly line of this + this +this = baby....dont ask too may questions lady, we know whats best for you and we know youll pay for the privilege of treatment. We spent around 40-50k on retrieval, testing, meds and a 5 day blastocyst transfer. Im not complaining about the cost, more that for it, I might expect to be treated a a living, thinking human being.Information on injections can be found via an annoying process of encrypted emails and links, useless online classes that clear RMA of liability, only to be directed to a free youtube video I could have begun with in the first place. There was no human/Nurse instruction, unless you count the nurses I found on Youtube to help out. I was never informed of the worst case effects to the drugs/hormones I took. I know this because I ran a medical practice that specialized in HRT for a decade...there are effects and patients deserve to know them. The effects of egg retrieval were reduced to uncomfortable, when after a 26 egg removal, I was on the floor for 2 days and scared out of my mind that something was VERY wrong. Again, thank goodness for the internet and knowing physicians I could ask in the middle of the night. Also dont expect comfortable or private accommodations. While men are given a private room, TV, videos, magazines, a DOOR to masturbate into a cup, women who are bloated and uncomfortable can expect a thin sheet between them and the next woman and a demand to be quiet when they are given the number of eggs retrieved (they show you on a piece of paper as youre coming out of anesthesia). In this particular circumstance, my nurse also messed up on my IV and sprayed blood all over the area and tried to behave as if nothing had happened...it was dripping from the handle of the bureau drawer. They didnt communicate the schedule my husband needed to be delivering samples for the fertilization. My desire for details was questioned and the nurse I was assigned, Tara, was kind of a jerk whom I met once and received a lovely sorry not sorry email from, when I questioned the shift of drug dosages. I was not given a choice about the drugs or process we would proceed with. The schedule of ultrasounds and blood work is disruptive and not created with any mind to the working women who have responsibilities. They could be earlier or offered later in the day (for some portions that arent as time sensitive). They could offer classes, perhaps once every 2 weeks, that answer common questions and gives a forum for women not familiar with this labyrinthine process. So many things could make this very difficult process better for the women that are being pushed through it for a dollar and a dream. I have never paid so much to be treated so shabbily in a medical situation or really any other. Making space for the patients to feel some modicum of agency and control should be a basic priority that clearly doesnt even register.I would suggest shopping around, doing research and expecting more from those that handle us at our most vulnerable.
Very rude staff, especially those who are eager to take your money. Doing multiple tests and repeated blood tests for any possibility to make money out of patient’s pocket. I don’t even know if it was really needed. Some of them, especially those who are doing the billing, are not responsible for what they do just taking money is the first and foremost thing for them. Not very responsive about the issue and nobody really help to solve the issues. No negotiation at all. When the patient ended up paying more extra bill they are not even patient enough to wait for the installment. Patient consent is nothing to them. Taking money from the patient and out of pocket is their priority.
Unfriendly staff, I had an appointment for 1.30pm, getting on 22 from Easton, there was a Crash that was going to delay my arrival by 15 minutes. I called to let them know of the situation and a Receptionist by the Name Janal bluntly tells me that she has to cancel my appointment because I was going to arrive 15 minutes over my time which didnt make sense to me. She then puts me on a looooong hold to talk to the Doctor. She comes back on phone and at this time I have reduced my travel time & instead Was going to be late by 13 minutes, she still rudely tells me that she cannot take me in and is forcing me to accept a Monday appointment even after telling her I couldnt because of my work schedule...she hunged the phone on me. I called back so I could talk to someone else and she says she is the only one in to take appointments and that she was gonna mention to the Office Manager that I threatebed her because I just asked to talk to someone else and she hunged up again. What happened to Customer Service Care.
Without RMA we wouldn’t be expecting our baby in June!! Trust in the process is the biggest price of advice I can give. Once you think you the know the process it will surprise you, so just go with the flow and don’t stress! Also recommend the careshare program! 🌈🤰🏻👼🏻🙏
Honestly, I felt so lost there. I would get messages and try to call back minutes later only to get a VM. The nurse then told me she couldnt hear the messages I left?!? That is just an excuse for horrible customer service. Why doesnt anyone else I leave messages for have a hard time hearing me. Wow.I only went to one blood testing and then I felt like I was forgotten about. No one told me about the next steps or anything. Maybe because Im 33 they dont think Im that serious, or maybe because my spouse wasnt there during the first appointment. Yet, that shouldnt matter.I DO NOT Recommend this practice. Find someone who cares about more than the bottom line.
So I was recommended here because of my POS, even though I wasnt trying to get pregnant. So there was misunderstanding about that in the first place. But the doctor I had seen me was nasty, she basically told me I was fat and that there wasnt much she could do for me, and never spoke to me, she spoke to my mom and completely ignored me. I finally stood up for myself but she still ignored me. I highly reccomend finding somewhere else to go, unless you like feeling like garbage and like being nasty doctors.
I love this place! I’m so glad we came to RMA! Glad they are apart of our journey
Beautiful team, they are the best, very friendly
Amazing professional organization. Everyone from the receptionist to phlebotomist to doctors and nurses are simply amazing.
Terrible bureaucracy, awful to coordinate with, horrible experience overall.
I have my perfect baby boy because of this place. They are very thorough and my nurse BJ was wonderful! Highly recommend!
Thank you to RMA for helping us in our journey to parenthood!
Unfortunately they overpromise and underdeliver. Morning monitoring is also often very stressful since they are frequently running behind.
The doctors, nurses and other office personnel were kind, caring and very upbeat. I recommend them to anyone having issues conceiving!
Everyone was very professional, respectful and nice. I’ll definitely refer other people and join them again. Thank you, RMA Pennsylvania
Never return your phone calls! So hard to make appoitments ! They cancled test and never tried to reschedule . JUST back luck with the place!
Brittany is such a great NP
Unfriendly staff, not responsive , charges you double than others, they force for every possible test even not needed to make money.Patient consent is not important for them at all.
Extremely friendly staff, made me feel comfortable right away. Would definitely recommend.
Not a good place. Staff is horrible.
Wonderful and caring staff
