I arrived at American Family Care around 8:30 AM. Being a new customer all of the information had to be entered into their system. I didnt have to do a thing the lady at the front desk entered everything. She was very professional. Within twenty minutes I was taken to the back. The nurse practitioner was very nice. She checked my vitals and wrote down everything that I had to say. She gave me a covid test which took about 20 minutes. She then gave me a flu test. Within an hour Dr Runge came in. She asked a number of questions and she listened well. She diagnosed my situation and ordered my prescription through the pharmacy of my choice. I would have no problem returning to this clinic.
I was a walk-in and arrived about 4pm. Though it was about an hr wait before I could be seen, I understood as there were appointments (about 7 people) scheduled before me. The attending PA was very nice and provided detailed information for my injury. She was honest of her expertise and expressed what procedure she was and was not comfortable with performing. I appreciated this so much! The nurse was also very welcoming and comforting. I would recommend this location and will return if ever needed in the future. Thank you all for your service!
I walked into this clinic in Auburn on a Saturday and received excellent care ! The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and kind! The nurse,LaShay, was kind and good at her job too! If you are sick on a weekend and can’t see your family doctor, try American Family Care on South College in Auburn,Alabama! They are top notch in CARE!
I had A great experience with the staff and provider at AFC-College Street today. Everyone was very nice and professional. Very impressed with Erin Gray, NP. She listened to figure out what was going on with me. She also came back to check on me and let me know what steps she was taking. Also shout out to the lab technicians, medical assistants. I’m a hard stick and the first stick wasn’t successful and she communicated with me that she was going to get her supervisor once she got done with a meeting. I appreciated her not just leaving me in the room without letting me know. So an all around great experience.
Very quick and efficient process for seeing patients. After check in they let you know what spot in line you are and the estimated time you will be seen (unless a more emergent patient comes in). I went straight into the room after vitals, didnt have to come back into the waiting room and it was only about 20 before the NP came in to see me (and most of that time I believe they were waiting for test results). She was GREAT!!! Thorough and efficient and seemed genuinely concerned about helping me feel better. Highly recommend AFC. If I ever need to come here again I definitely will.
Staff was so friendly, and the doctors were so thorough to treat and evaluate everything. They were very efficient as well. Truly felt like family here! Provided the medication and treatment needed and followed up to ensure everything was improving and in order.
I visited the office on two separate occasions to have some important labs ran and my labs were lost in both instances. The lab tech had no record of my labs being drawn and was incredibly nonchalant and showed no concern for the situation at hand. The nurse practitioner I saw prior to having labs completed was amazing. However, I will not visit the office again because of the lack or care taken during the processing and transport or my lab work.
Came in not feeling well at all. The staff was very nice and helpful. They were through in their assessment and treatment of my symptoms. I left feeling much better and Thanks to A. P. , I will gladly return if in need of urgent care again. Definitely the best urgent medical treatment visits I have ever had.
When I walked in the doors, it was 5:55 pm, they closed at 6:00 pm. From the time I walked in, everyone was very polite and professional. The customer service was outstanding. The receptionist was so friendly and showed she cared. Then the nurse practitioner was so accommodating. She was very professional and she knew her stuff. I was panicking about a cut on my finger that was very deep. I couldnt get it to stop bleeding. She worked her magic and by the end of my visit, I had 3 stitches and walked out smiling. She was awesome, caring, and very professional. She (Dr. Erin GRAY) made my visit very personable. I recommend this URGENT CARE, the staff is amazing.
Went in on Sunday just before lunch really suffering from poison ivy outbreak. Waited about an hour and got in to see the doctor. Got two shots and 5 prescriptions and out of there by 2:00. Very easy and they took care of me. 100 % better on Monday morning. What a relief. Very satisfied with the service and care.
This was my first visit with the urgent care and it was a very pleasant one. From the initial call before arrival I talk with a very nice representative that gave me great information and directions. Overall experience was a 5/5!!!! Doctor showed a great bedside manner.
My overall experience with AFC was an pleasant one. The staff was nice and courteous. The doctor there made sure I was provided with good care. It took longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth it for the diagnosis. I will be using them if needed again.
It would take too long and be far too traumatic for me to retell all that occured here. The doctor I saw was unempathetic, disengaged, and abhorrently arrogant. Along with misdiagnosing me and worsening my condition, I was berated with attacks on my character. I would not wish this supposed care on my enemy. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience that stands in my mind as the worst possible urgent care visit.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The last thing anyone wants to fool with is technology on a phone when you dont feel well. She helped me get the photos of my insurance card and license loaded and helped me finish checking in. She was most helpful.
I waited over 3 hours to be seen while being one of the only few there. Just to be checked for not even 5 minutes. They did a blood test which took them another 20min for them to come back and at this point the clinic is technically closed. Just to be told I’d be given results for the blood test in 1-2 days. Never received a call and now owe over $100 for my time being wasted. Don’t even bother going here. You’d be better off using google which would save a lot of time and money.
We drove an hour to be seen and could not have asked for better care. We were thinking my husband broke his foot and the care and attention we received was amazing. The NP, Tori, was great! Everyone from the receptionist, triage nurse and xray tech was so kind. We were seen in a timely manner but not rushed. Worth the drive!
I came in for follow up for a worker comp appointment but they help me with my blood sugar and show extra care for my other health issues I’m going through right now. Made me feel special and I have to find out how to make doctor b my regular doctor after get me back to work.
Giving 1 star because Zero is not allowed.Worst medical service ever, my son made an appointment online and arrived 20 minutes early, was taken back to patient room within 15 minutes of his appointment and several test were run. Then we waited for over two hours to get the results of Covid and Flu Tests. They completely forgot he was in the room waiting for results. Many people came and went while he waited for his results. After 2 hours and 15 minutes he was told the results and released. There were no reasons given fir the long delay.
Careful they love to prioritize walk ins over appointments. Stayed for over an hour with an online appointment and they never called for me after saying they would. It’s unprofessional.
Made an appointment for a sports physical for my son. Arrived early, was told they dont do that. Even though I made the appointment online and they advertise sports physicals. We asked if we should cancel our appointments, the young lady said they already did. I guess just didnt think to tell us. Ill never go back.
Staff is always kind every time I have to come to their urgent care. I felt like I had covid and they had me from the time I walked in to the time I left was 2 hours. My test for the covid was positive and they sent my prescriptions in fast. Thank you guys! I drive from Opelika to thus one in Auburn because of my experiences here.
I was seen extremely quickly despite them have to use some work around a because their internet was down. The NP (Erin Grey) and her trainee were super nice, kind, and compassionate. They explained everything before they did it and were constantly checking in to make sure I was okay during the numbing and stitching process.
Waited for over 2 1/2 hours- went and asked how much longer it would be because my sick child was crying… they said “i don’t know where he is”. He finally arrived at 2 hours and 30 minutes and told us we had covid (we told them that when we arrived). Nice enough but meanwhile the sick child is crying because he wants to go home. This should be a 20 minute visit tops and they weren’t that busy.
Checked in online, arrived ten minutes before my appointment like the website said to do, and filled out the online paperwork before I even got to the building. I even put in the description of symptoms that I have difficulty walking or standing especially for long periods of time due to my injury. Once I was taken to the back, I waited for over two hours to be seen by anyone. If you don’t have all day to wait, don’t come here.
Very nice and clean facility, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Bianchi and his knowledge on my diagnosis. I definitely would return for further appointments
Front desk staff was not very friendly! Got a bad feeling from the start. I felt like we were bothering them. The wait there was nog long but once in room we were there a total of 3 hours. The nurse and Dr were very apologetic. I was very tempted to walk out during the long wait and go somewhere else!!Completed the appointment but it’s doubtful i would go there again. They have many rooms to put people but obviously not enough staff.
Deryus Tillman, NP was amazing!! He was very informative, easy to speak with, and ready to help me get better! No complaints whatsoever!! Keep being great, sir!
Nobody likes being sick. Nobody likes going to an urgent care facility. My experience at this one was one of the better ones, though.Knowing how busy urgent care places are right now, I showed up as soon as they opened their doors. A lot of other people had the same idea and we ended up having to schedule an appointment for an hour or so later. So we ran an errand while we waited. When I returned, I was seen promptly. I believe the intake nurses name was Sevetra. She was super sweet and personable. The NP who helped me (I believe her name was Erin Gray) was also very professional and courteous. My treatment plan was thorough and helped enormously. I started feeling better a few days later, so a big thank you to American Family Care!
Darius refused to prescribe me antibiotics before doing an X-ray and blood work. 4 days later and still no prescription. Blood work came back saying I had mycoplasma pneumonia. Literally what the zpack was created for. Went to Mills urgent care and they took care of me in 5 mins. I typically don’t leave 1 star reviews but my 11 month old daughter is starting to show similar symptoms and that could have been prevented if I had been started on antibiotics sooner. If you need competent medical care go somewhere else
The staff was nice but the wait was verry long. Arrived at about 10 and did not get treated till about 2. Good staff, long wait time.
Waited 90 minutes to be seen, despite there being no one in the waiting room. Spent 5 minutes with nurse practitioner and the whole visit was 2 hours. I can’t even imagine how long it would take if they were actually busy.
Doctor withheld adequate care. Went in with potential fractures/sprains on my wrists and hands, asked for xrays, afterwards she comes in says “there’s nothing broken, I’m prescribing you ibuprofen.” Regardless of the immense swelling, pain, and lack of range of motion I was experiencing. No further advice on how to care for my injuries was given. Worst medical experience I’ve hadHowever, the nurse was really kind
I was sent to American Family Care as a follow up to a work injury and to get a referral. Todays visit was a total waste of my time. The doctor came in, asked me what happened, said it should be healed within a month.. He did not look at my injury, the ONLY thing he did was check my heart beat. He then ask a nurse to take me to exray, just to have her ask me what she was supposed to be exraying. And then said come back next Tuesday…. I’m sorry, but for what? As you the doctor did absolutely nothing for me today, so why would I return. I will not ever use this facility again!I feel like they saw this was a workmen’s comp case, knew they would get paid and did as little as possible to assist me as a patient.
Lovely staff and really fast in and out process even though there was a lot of people there. Dr Bianchi was so sweet and helpful.
No respect for patients pain and time. Had to wait 3 Hours to see the doctor for my son even after taking appointment, not walk-in. Stay way from these guys. I am not sure how they got 4.5 stars, may be fake reviews.
I came in with a severe migraine seeking a Torodal and steroid shot. I waited two and a half hours as they neglected my 8-9 pain rating for treatment that literally takes 5 minutes. I mentioned that I had a sore throat and had had chills the day prior to my migraine attack, and the staff went ballistic. The nurse neglected the actual reason I was there and attempted to test me for Flu, Covid, and Strep. When I declined the Covid test, (because I tend to have severe allergic reactions to the preservatives present on some of them) I was immediately treated like garbage. The nurse said they will probably decline my treatment because I declined the Covid test. Note that I did still take the Flu and Strep test (which both came back negative, no crap). They demanded that I wear a mask afterwards for the rest of the visit. When the doctor came into the room, she began talking about me potentially having an upper respiratory infection. Also note, neither the nurse or the doctor checked my throat or nasal passages, and there was no mention of a potential x-ray to check my lungs, and I didnt have a cough, so where they came up with this idea, I have zero clue. I then had to explain to the doctor, after already having the same discussion with the nurse and receptionist that I was there for migraine treatment. I understand testing for potential Strep, but the actual neglect and discrimination I faced for declining a Covid test was unacceptable. Funnily enough, in the exam room they have the AFC mission statement posted on the wall which states the companys desire to listen and care for patients in an open (clearly not) and timely manner, yeah right. I liked this location in the past, but I will not be returning after this problem. They gave me my discharge paperwork and diagnosed me with acute respiratory infection. Absolutely not. Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office.
2 people in the waiting room, fill out paperwork and wait about 30 minutes, then we end up waiting one hour in the room, I finally ask how much longer it’s going to be and they let me know that there is still 7 patients in front of us!!!! Ridiculous wait!!! we just left. They need a system that lets patients know wait time.
I visited The American Family Care, Urgent Care, 2/20/2024 feeling miserable, sore throat, congested, nasal drainage, coughing, slight headache, and little breathing difficulty. The receptionist was very polite, pleasant and helpful. The wait was little long, but it was worth it. I left there feeling more than fifty percent better. They treated me professionally and I am so grateful. After my breathing treatment and 2 injections, I slept well that night and feel much better. Thank you so very much.
Staff was courteous and greeted me immediately upon entering. The registration process is done by phone, but was extremely easy. My wait time was about 10 minutes, before I was seen by the NP. The facility was clean and I appreciated the fact that there is a pharmacy adjacent to the check in desk, so you won’t have to make another stop on your way home.Update 8-24-24My wait was a little longer today due to them assisting many others, prior to me walking in. Nonetheless, my opinion has not changed. Facility is still clean and the staff and medical team were nice, courteous, and attentive to my health care and concerns.
I came to American Family Care, as l thought l may have a, UTI infection. It had been awhile since l had been here. The lady at the desk, was very polite, and got all my information, in the computer. I was seen not to long after l got there. I saw the ARNP and she was very concerned of my problem. She prescribed some medications, for me, and soon, l was on my way. I was very pleased, with the appearance of the waiting room, the staff, and the Dr. I will come back to them again.
10 I have been to a few of the others in Auburn an Opelika none have been as nice,as quick, and will to sit and explain things to me . I will always use your clinic for my emergencies. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience. Beverly
I went to AFC because of all the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Everyone was friendly and respectful at a time when I felt terrible. I would definitely recommend AFC.
Only one star because the nurse that took my child’s weight was nice. We waited over 4 hours for a sports physical!! That is insane. Front desk was rude trying to push me off to do paperwork I already completed. No worries, we will never be back! Do better Auburn!
My experience at AFC WAS AMAZING. MY DOCTOR ANNA PATTERSON WAS PERFECT. SHE ASKED QUESTIONS TO GET TO THE MAIN PROBLEM. I LOVE IT ❤️. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
The staff is super nice and very professional. they helped ease any anxiety i had and made sure i felt comfortable.
I have always had an extremely pleasant experience here. Everyone is so so kind, caring and they really listen to you and provide solutions that work. 10/10!!
The receptionist was so sweet and helpful. The place was very clean but just little confused because they didn’t test me for anything, nothing. Said probably sinus infection. The lady did listen bc I told her what I thought I had and she went with it. Sinus infection. Which she used a different term.
Fantastic urgent care. Staff and doctor were very friendly and personable. The Dr. took time to go over everything and didnt just rush me out the door. Will be going back in the future if needed.
Posted before but was deleted by AFCOn a visit I was given a blood test and was told my A1C was 11. I was referred to another doctor who tested me again and my A1C was 6.9. Told the doctor that I knew it was not as high as I was told because I had been testing my sugar several times a day for months. He told the doctor at AFC what I said and I was then banned for the clinic because I disputed the doctors verdict. I an no longer on insulin and my A1C is now 6.6 since A1C is calculated based on sugar levels every 3 months there is no way it would drop from 11 to under 7 in a matter of weeks. I went back about 4 months ago and was told I could not be seen there based on the doctors orders. Just because the doctor did not like being challenged I was no longer welcome. Glad there are other option for me to choose from. Up until those last two visits I was happy with my visits.
I really like this place if I need to see a dr urgently. The staff is always very nice, and I really like the Dr and the Nurse Practitioner. I have a regular dr that I use, but if I need to be seen quick, this is where I go.
Care was excellent I was disappointed to find out the pharmacy @ this location is no longer available at any of there locations its was bought out by Walgreens. Other than that it was outstanding
NP Grey is amazing…she was thorough and resolved my issue. Highly recommend AFC!
During my visit to AFC, everyone was very kind and gentle from the receptionist to the nurse practitioner! They made sure I was comfortable and even though I had to come in close to closing time, they were still thorough. I would definitely recommend this clinic if you have an urgent injury or other need.
Cleanliness of the facility and friendliness of the nursing staff. The nurse practitioner was excellent as well. They were thorough in diagnosing my issue. I was seen and dismissed within an hour.
I hadnt slept for 24 hours I made appt online and they swabbed me for COVID and flu and after 2 hours of waiting I left. They refuse to give me my results or my PPO. The people were obviously understaffed and not friendly.. I would never go back. Someone did reach out two days later after I went somewhere else. She explained they were understaff due to an employee calling out sick.
Its so unkind. I went there because I was sick, but I didnt go out because I was bored. I waited for an hour and went into the room, but I waited for 50 minutes alone without any guidance and cynically told me twice to just sit down when I asked. I will never go there again. It took me more than two hours to get one Covid test. Its a place where no apology can be expected.
Th staff was Very prompt and friendly and Doctor Bianchi andPA, Anna Patterson and Alandra, the nurse, made me feel very comfortable and explained everything and answered all my questions. I could not have experienced any better experience than I received from AFC South College. Thank you very much!
I have gone here for years and have always had great interactions with all of the staff. They work very hard to figure out what is going on with you and if they can’t solve it, will send you to a specialist that can- because they care!
The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable talking to the staff. Thank you for everything. God bless.
T hi is is a very knowledgeable and compassionate urgent care facility. It was a very busy day for them yet they kept a check on me. My nurse practitioner was thorough and correct with her diagnosis and explanation of the problem. The nursing staff were excellent with shots, bloodwork and X-rays that I had to receive. The dr came several times to check in and follow up. The office staff were helpful due to me leaving my wallet at home. Just an all around nice facility to go to if you’re sick. Each one seemed to like their job and it showed because they are excellent at it.
Excellent care. Very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back if I had another problem.
Everyone was super sweet and helpful! Shortest wait I’ve ever had at an urgent care!
Im a regular at AFC in Auburn, Alabama I never encountered any problems with the staff, the t ime frame of the wait goes fast Im am pleased so far with the service I received
Always come here when I’m sick! Everyone is so nice and kind. They truly listen to their patients and make them feel valued. The wait is worth it for the quality of care you receive. 100%
The staff is so sweet and really attends to your needs. I felt listened to and they did their best to figure out what was wrong in a timely manner. Dr. Ana was amazing, highly recommend, she is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Being out of state and getting sick is never fun but she helped comfort me in so many ways. Cannot recommend this place more.
Extremely thorough and kind staff. Honestly the nurse practitioner was more helpful than some doctors I have seen.
We were there for three hours which is entirely too long. Waited in lobby for 45 min and in the room for the rest of the time. They had already cleaned and were closing up when we were leaving. The doctor was nice; however, didn’t seem to ask a lot of questions or look at anything in depth, so I don’t feel like we got many answers at all for my 3.5 yr old. I will say, the nurses were fabulous and so sweet to my daughter. Britney, specifically, was wonderful, and my daughter even commented on how nice she was when we left - impressed with nursing staff!
I arrived at 9:15 am. I was called back. I waited in the room the nurse put me in. I waited an hour no one came in to see me. I got up and left. I’m very disappointed in the service, I received today.
Everyone are sweet and professional. They all cater to your needs and make sure that every patient is well taken care of. I love the atmosphere there
This was the worst experience ever. I waited 4 hours & didn’t receive any help just discharged & told to come back in 3 days.
The Staff was amazing!!! I arrived around 5:58 pm and they closed at 6:00 pm. Although they were technically still opened, not once did the Receptionist complained about my time. She greeted with a smile and took my information. The Nurse and Doctor were just as nice. They didn’t rush me, and as a matter of fact, they took their time with me, making sure I was diagnosed properly. I will definitely recommend this facility.
Outstanding attention and thorough examination. I love this location. I will never go anywhere else. I made that mistake 2 weeks ago—and I am still sick. Anna Patterson is the best. Caring and compassionate on top of being thorough.
I could not have asked for a better or more prompt experience. This is now my go-to medical facility.Thank you so much, all of you, for taking care of me.
Anna the P.A. was fantastic. She was so patient and compassionate. By far the best person I’ve been seen by. I hope they can keep her around. My only complaint is with the young-lady up front checking me in. She was not clear on exactly what she needed from me (signature) and snapped at me.
Easy to get to, short wait, professional and friendly staff. I hope I don’t need to see a doctor much, but if I do, this is a great option in the Auburn area.
This was the best treatment facility I have ever visited. The staff members exceeded my expectations in every area of patient care and customer service. The doctor is second to none. This clinic is worthy of stereotyping; and is a valuable asset to the Auburn community.
I live out of town and came to Auburn for the a swimming competition with my son. I started feeling a lot of pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. I thought I had appendicitis. I checked in at the office, and after several people were called ahead of me I asked the nurse how much longer I would have to wait - that’s when she explained people were scheduling online appointments that were ahead of me. But she moved me into a room anyways. Then another nurse took my vitals and asked for a urine sample. I sat there for over 2 hrs and never saw a doctor. I just gathered my things and left. The next morning I drove back South and went straight to the ER - I was diagnosed with pneumonia and a strained muscle on my lower abdomen. The health system is failing us all. Overworked professionals are not able to attend to the demand of patients put in their care.
Very friendly and professional staff. Erin Gray, CNP, was outstanding. I was in and out on an hour. I have used the clinic several times before and never had a bad experience.
Really nice, clean clinic with friendly staff(especially the doctor, she was amazing).. They were thorough and efficient. Helped my 15 year old son! Made him feel comfortable and well. Will be my clinic of choice.
Don’t go here if you have severe sinus infections, upper respiratory infections, or allergies. They charge $160 just for the doctor to tell you to take an allergy pill. Better yet, they even prescribed it like it was helping me. Not to mention, I already take over the counter Zyrtec daily. Well I got extremely sick after this “ viral cold” wouldn’t go away and it lasted for 10 days but worsened to the point it was worse than the flu/covid. I went somewhere else and they gave me antibiotics, a shot, cough medicine. I was better in a couple of days.
I have been to this location twice now and each time has been for some type of injury. I didn’t have much of a wait either time I visited. The staff are very kind and super knowledgeable. I appreciate how it seems they really spend time and listen to your concerns. The front desk was super sweet and the PA was great as well!
Anna, the NP at this location is outstanding. She shows great compassion and provides excellent care for her patients. The staff is also very friendly and efficient.
My daughter came here yesterday based on all of the good Google reviews as well as the recommendations I found on Auburn’s parent Facebook group. It was a Sunday and she showed up at 2:15 PM. She waited over an hour to be seen and then was put in a room for an hour before a doctor saw her. Then for the next 1.5 hours the doctor kept coming and going and trying to draw blood from her, never finding a vein and kept abandoning her in the room. This is all while her poor roommate was in the waiting room, waiting for 3 1/2 hours for her since my daughter does not have a car! My daughter was absolutely miserable. Against my better judgment, I had advised her to go to urgent care. We always avoid urgent cares at all cost because of the wait time and the high expense because we have a high deductible plan. So that was a complete waste of four hours of her time. Plus she left without any prescription even though the doctor had told her that she had an ear infection. Fast forward to today. I have left three phone calls this morning. It is now nearly the end of business day and not one person has called me back. I am absolutely appalled by the customer service at this urgent care. I will be in awe if they send me a bill for this visit that never had a conclusion since my daughter walked out at the end because she was so completely frustrated and upset.
Everyone was very nice and made me feel comfortable. They were also very kind .
I have been here several times but this is the worst experience!!! Short staffed (understandable). Went in with cough, sinus drainage and just felt bad. Unprofessional, including NP!! Gave me a steroid shot (didnt feel)? Did not have any medicine for the nebulizer machine. Checked my breathing, gave me a covid-19 and flu test (negative) but what happened to my ears and throat? Stayed there 4 hours!!!!😷
I’ve only gone to AFC for all of my medical needs. The staff are so friendly and good at their jobs. I went in today for a vaccine that I didn’t know I needed for school. Ms. Vee was so kind and made sure I had all of the documentation I needed. She even gave me a bag of candy with some words of encouragement. Made my week!!!
Always great service and super nice employees. The doctor I see is awesome!
Patient called Auburn location on University to get a rough time to see a doctor. Receptionist says it was good time and patient waited for 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hours for call to back for weight ,etc . Then was told it would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours more to see a care provider. No emergencies came in . They have very little respect or empathy for sick patients.
Receptionist, nurses, doctors all there to help and make you feel better. Listening and asking questions. Wait times arent bad. The waiting room is comfortable. I wasn’t out of my parking space when my pharmacy texted that my medication was ready to pick up.
I went for a physical exam/urine test. The girl at front desk with natural hair was very patient. Wait time was extremely long because there was only one doctor on staff. Once i got to the back phlebotomist did her thing and was nice. I felt sorry for the Dr. but I would still visit if I were sick everyone is usually friendly and professional.
Came in on a busy Saturday morning, and the front office staff were so kind and patient with me and others in the building. When I was called back the nurse taking my initial vitals was sweet and talkative as well. I saw Nurse Practitioner Resha McQueen, and from now on out if I dont receive care like that from medical professionals Im walking out. She was personable, so warm and funny, and made me feel like an actual human being that needed medical care instead of just another patient to get through, as I have been made to feel before at other urgent care clinics in my lifetime. Not sure if this combination of staff personalities is the usual at this location, but I was very thankful for them this morning.
Everything was great including check in screening and examination. Within a timely manner .
FYI if you need a DOT physical do not go here, they charge $175. (Auburn Urgent Care $80, Stopwatch Opelika $90). Cant comment on experience as I obviously didnt go. Maybe they are so nice its worth paying more than double.
The staff was very friendly and kind. My Dr was so helpful
They took my daughters condition into account right away and when they had the smallest opportunity did an expedited exam so we could get medicine for her that day. Extremely impressed with the help and patience of the staff dealing with the extreme number of people and their willingness to help and keep me updated.
Waited for over 3 hours in the back room to receive my test results. I did a trial test with a tech, and she gave me my results in 15 minutes, then I had to wait another 2 hours and 45 minutes to hear it again, from an assistant. After waiting for two hours, I was worried I had been forgotten about. I stuck my head out of the room and asked another tech if they still had me on the list to be seen, in a very friendly manner. This tech was immediately rude and condescending. The worst part is I selected an OPEN time on their online portal, just to go into a full urgent care that had me there for over three hours. All for a steroid shot, that took less than five minutes, given to me by the original tech that took my weight, height & bp. If they would’ve just let the tech get me in and out, I would’ve been fine with that, considering how long it took me to see an assistant for less than 5 minutes of conversation, in which she asked me what I wanted her to give me. Totally would have used Teladoc if I would’ve known this was going to be a full day of unhelpful staff.
I was not felling well got there at 5:30 and closing is at 6:00. I was treated with care and concern. Front desk helped me get all of my information needed. The nurse Britney was so kind and helpful and concerned. Nurse Practitioner Gray listened and treated my symptoms. I got my RX filled at the pharmacy there. I was never treated like I got there at closing. I appreciate the care I was shown. I recommended. American Family Care
Process take so long and long .....timeYou must have high level of patience till be treated
Check in started out really dry, It felt very unwelcoming. However by the next encounter, she was kinder. Afterwards was absolutely great the triage nurse was attentive, and warm. She explained everything with knowledge of her job and care for me. The attending was the best part, she listened, diagnosed, and treated the whole patient. She was kind, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was going to be well, which comforted me. Being sick, and out of work just isnt always a good space to be in. However the care, concern, and understanding I felt during my visit some how gave me this, again comfort, to be ok with the situation. Which in turn built a different environment of strength and maturity for a better healing process. Thank you all for the experience 🙏🏾
Very kind receptionist. I did not have to wait very long before I saw the NP.
They ultimately took care of me and gave me what I needed but I waited 2 and a half hours. I did visit during flu season so I expected a wait, but not 2 and a half hours and for people who came in after me to go in before me. Will only use as a last resort from now on or check in online.
The wait was a little long, but well worth it. The place was clean, staff friendly, and I was treated with concern and respect 🙏🏾
They billed my insurance the wrong billing code just so they could get more money. Instead of charging me an urgent care visit they charged me as a new patient. They refused to communicate with me or my insurance company. Be prepared to pay full price ($200+) when coming here. Also I’m 26 weeks pregnant and the doctor knew that. He ended up prescribing me doxycycline for an ear infection. Thank goodness I checked with the pharmacist before taking it because it’s not safe for pregnancy.
The staff is so professional and showed a great of empathy That was my first time and if i ever need their services again i would definitely go there and i most definitely would recommend them to everyone
Ms Patterson could not have been more through in her assessment of my symptoms, and what my options where and prescribing the medicine I needed. She has treated me several times over the last several years and I have always found her to go the extra mile.
Though there was a quite a wait on this visit. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating. Dr. Bianche was very thorough, and cring during my examination. He explained my illness, and his course of action. Thank you all for your excellent care. I highly recommend AFC to anyone.
Super quick to get to a room. Dr was kind and through. Would recommend to everyone.
I absolutely love AFC. My visits are always prompt. My most recent visit was superb. While I was giving my information, I was timely called to the back to be seen. I was seen by the assistants and the nurse practitioner followed quickly after them and took care of me with the utmost respect and consideration. They were friendly and held great conversation. From the outside looking in, it seems they have a great work environment. Also, it’s always very clean.
The staff here is so caring. I went in feeling so horrible and they addressed all of my concerns and listened to personal assessment of my condition. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible while I was there and came up with a solution quickly. I will always come back here when needed. They really do care for their patients.
Was in and out my first time there within an hour without an appointment. The staff were also very polite and helpful.
Dr Bianchi and the entire staff are always so kind to me. It makes going to the Dr a little less unpleasant. I always know that Dr Bianchi is always going to do his very best to get me well.
The wait time was not short, but once I got back I was seen shortly. The nurse practitioner was awesome and so sweet! The tech who gave me my shot was amazing and so gentle too!
Everyone was extremely nice. Went out of their way to get everything done in a timely manner.
My daughter arrived at you facilities yesterday, 10/23/23 at 4:25pm. She was told to wait either in office or in her car and you would text when room was ready. I was in contact with her during this time, she was waiting in her car per your request. At 7:50pm I requested that she walk back inside to confirm the status of a room. Upon questioning the staff they told her, “ We thought you left”. Now again let me stress you told her to wait in her vehicle and you would text when a room was ready! You then refused to see her and sent her home! Now today she is missing more school in order to attend an appointment to get some medication. I don’t understand the incompetence of your facility and the level of care you require for a patient care facility! First and foremost your top priorities should be patient care, most of your clients are students that are first time away from home, needing help during and illness. So understanding and caring towards your patients needs to come first!
The staff was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with took time and actually listened to how my daughter was feeling. The did standard tests that should have been done by the AU Clinic, but were not.
The doctor and staff were very sweet, and the wait wasn’t bad at all. The nurse who took my vitals was very patient (I was very nervous) and the doctor was very understanding of my financial situation. I will definitely be going back if I need to in the future.
Very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. Also able to fill the my prescriptions there on premises w/o having to stop in towu and get in and out again. Diagnosed the problem quickly and I have improved very quickly w/o having to go to another facility. Also didn’t have to wait over the weekend to be able to see a different doctor’.Thanks AFC- you were great and I’m much better!!!
Friendly, and efficient doctors and partitioners. Second time goin and accurately diagnosing.
Great service, only issue is wait time vs. appointment time online. It should show appointment time along with wait time instead of just wait time. My appointment was cancelled because of this and I also did not receive a 20 confirmation text before my appointment. Got there and there was no appointment for me so I made a new one at the desk, waited for 30 minutes only to go up and ask and they said “I was never in the system” wasted hours of time. Once you’re in the back, they really care. Original appoitment made at 10:30 am scheduled for 2:00, leave at 2:40 because of appointment, next open appointment is at 5:26, 40 minutes before they close. Also charged co-pay before setting appointment time. I paid before they revealed the appointment time, If I knew it was 3 hours later I would have just gone somewhere else but I had already paid..
Wait time is unimaginably late. Waited for 2 hours to even get a doctor to check in on injury. This urgent care doesnt attend to patients quickly & takes their own time to attend to patients. There is no consideration to attend to patients suffering with pain at earliest.Never seen an urgent care that takes 2-3 hours to attend to a patient. Horrible patient hospitality.
The staff here is really good and respectful even though they were very busy and when it was my time to be seen by the doctor he didn’t rush he took his time asking questions about what I had going on and made sure I got the right service that I needed. They closed at 7 even though they had already closed he didn’t rush to try and to hurry up to get me out it was after 8 when I left and I would most definitely go back to them.
We came into the clinic 5 minutes shy of closing - driving straight there from vacation. My daughter had swimmers ear and the staff and NP Erin were the best! They took their time, made sure the pharmacy on site had the drops we needed before closing up. Highly recommend this clinic!
I was very happy to find AFC in Auburn during the holidays. I had used them in Birmingham a few years ago, my information was still in their records which saved some time.Rachel was the Nurse Practitioner who took care of me. Lacie was the assistant who initially took me back into the exam room, questioned me and gave the injections Rachel ordered. Getting the prescriptions on site was a tremendous help. It was late in the evening and I never felt rushed. Everyone was soooo nice and efficient. The next day I called with questions that were taken care of promptly while I was on the phone. I recommend this office and although we never want to need a doctor, if I need one I will go there again. Thank you
On Tuesday, 9/26/23, I decided to go to AFC for treatment b/c I was referred and advised of their excellent services via a few family members thats been there for various treatments.I give AFC 5 stars regarding: efficient electronic check-in, cleanliness interior/exterior bldg, friendly staff and professional services.I was treated by provider (Ms. Caroline) with exceptional services, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. I received excellent insight from Ms. Caroline regarding what steps to take after being discharged, overview of prescribed meds, and my questions were addressed accordingly.Sidenote: I prefer referrals b/c everyone wants a good experience v/s trying new services/businesses and it not meeting or exceeding your expectations.
AFC South College was fast, convenient, and staff was very pleasant! When you’re feeling bad they streamlined the process and I was in and out in under 40 minutes. Had strep and flu test, saw doc, got a shot, and was in my way to pharmacy like that. Thanks to AFC staff!!!
My daughter has been sick for weeks. Finally she came here and saw Risha, NP. She was thorogh, personable and very knowledgeable! She did a chest xray and determined her diagnosis. Treated her and we are so thankful she is on the road to recovery! Thank you so much!
Everything was great. Great staff with a very positive vibe. Found out that I was taken care of by the manager. She gave me her name but I never knew she was the manager. She definitely doesnt shy away from a busy floor. Keep up the good work!!
I was in and out the nurse and the front desk nurse was nice and professional and they showed concern about me.
I went here with a pulled muscle in my back. Britney, up front, was very friendly and helpful. I saw NP Erin Gray. She also was very friendly and helpful. She really acted like she was very concerned for my well being. She actually listened to my concerns. I’ve been seeing doctors at an orthopedic center for years with neck and back issues. Which for most of the time, if they can’t operate on you, they act like they don’t care. I can’t express to the employees here how much I appreciated the kindness and just acting like y’all cared about me. I wasn’t used to this kind of service. Y’all have my upmost gratitude!! Thank you!!
Visit on 2-17-2024Checked in for tetanus injection and wound treatment. Had my file from previous visit.Fast check in and short wait before called back for treatment. Received tetanus injection, wound inspection and cleaning and two medications called in to pharmacy. Very satisfied.
I love AFC and have been a patient since 2017… but this is by far the worst visit I have ever experienced. Dr. McQueen was not thorough. Came in for sore throat, body aches, chills, and ear pain. I was tested for flu, covid, and strep. I tested negative most likely because I came in early as she stated (after I asked). Which is fine...I just started feeling sick yesterday. HOWEVER.Dr. McQueen did not examine my throat, ears, or lymph nodes even after I told her I was experiencing pain since yesterday. Instead, she asked me to cough and gave me a weird look after the cough. So basically my cough didnt meet whatever expectation she had.She then listened to my lungs and said well...I dont hear anythingShe stayed up against the wall with her hands behind her back as I explained to her how I was feeling. It just felt like she did not seem to care very much was trying to rush me out by ordering an antibiotic shot with no antibiotics to take at home.To add to that, the nurse administering the shot was really nice but has me wondering if where she gave me the shot was appropriate for effectiveness. The shot was to go into my left hip but I left with a band aid over the mid center of my left gluteal. Im not a nurse…. but Ive had plenty of antibiotic shots in my lifetime and they have never been administered in that area.Usually I get Dr. Erin Gray when I go in and she is always fabulous and very attentive. Sadly I did not this time and I fear to ever go back to AFC on south college in case I get Dr. McQueen again. I left frustrated and in pain. So a co-pay and one shot later....staying sick during Labor Day weekend is in the forecast for me.
Would give it zero stars if I could. Appointment was for 2:58 and I didn’t get seen until 5:20. Waited another hour in the back where all they did was swab me and I was so fed up I just left and told them to email me my results. I then received a call from the Dr. at 9PM where he determined I had bronchitis from me coughing into the phone. Completely fraudulent
Best Family Care office I’ve ever been to! Everyone was genuinely Caring, nice, and helpful, and when you’re sick,, you need that comfort and compassion. I would recommend this facility any time. Thank you team at 1902 South College St, Auburn, Al, . Dr. Gray and Staff are incredibly deserving and dedicated ❤️❤️
They were very quick to get to me and all the staff were really kind! The only urgent care I’ll go to in this area!
The sign in process was a little intrusive , but the staff and the Doctor were awesome. I got the treatment I needed in 1 visit ! Will definitely be coming back as I will be making them my primary going forward . Very satisfied!!! And the indoor pharmacy is a nice convenience as well. By the time I walked out they already had my medications ready on the way out the door !! What else can I say ? 😉 I highly recommend AFC !!!!
Very attentive and concerned for my issues! Very pleased they listened to me and offered solutions
The wait time was longer this time. 2 hours. Ive been there 3 times and this was the only problem Ive had. The service was great though.
I love AFC because you get a quick visit and the drs are always attentive and give what you need. I also like the assisting staff. I drive 45 minutes to get to this place but the selling point has always been that they have a built in pharmacy. One stop shopping. Then i heard in one week the pharmacy will be closing! What! That’s the whole reason i came here as opposed to other places. Hoping they change their mind.
Fast , Friendly, already had my work excuse ready without me having to ask
I had a great experience. I walked in to a full waiting room where people were being called back very quickly. I waited less than an hour which was a surprise. I told doctor Moore that I believed I had a sinus infection and after a quick check he agreed. Great service, great nurses, and a great doctor.
Fantastic clinic. Front staff is friendly and speedy, NPracitioner Grey was so sweet, you could tell she really cares about her pts. Didnt expect her to spend so much of her time to make mine a little less painful.
Everyone was great from check-ins to check out. The nurse practitioner really took her time to explain to me about my knee and the arthritis. It was a visit I was dreading but it turned out to be one of the best.
Do not go to this place. I went there yesterday because I had a sore throat an headache. I was tested for Covid and it came back positive. Was not given medication that usually is given for Covid, but was given medication for when you have a really bad cold. Called today and spoke with Dr. Bianchi who wanted me to go over there so that they can swab my throat to see if I had strep, my question to him was if I tested positive for Covid why wasn’t I given medication for Covid? Do not go to this place.
Very pleasant staff! Wait time shorter than expected. Vee was patient and very helpful throughout my visit and made sure everything was understandable and clear. The NP Tiffany was able to diagnose me right away and was very kind. Definitely will be coming here whenever I need convenient and quality care for an illness/injury.
Love this place. Good PAS and great vate. Wonderful staff.
Wonderful clinic!! Kortnee has an amazing staff on her hands. The MR, Kanaya is very polite and friendly. She assisted me quickly and efficiently during the check in process. Her back office staff (Vee, Alondra, and Ashton) are very helpful, friendly, and polite. Lastly, the provider, Dr. Bianchi, is amazing!!! AFC South College is amazing!! 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you all for the amazing experience. This clinic is well worth the wait, if you want good care and support!!
This place used to be great but has significantly gone downhill. I went in for a sore throat and the nurse practitioner didn’t even examine me or even LOOK at my throat. They did a Covid and strep test, which were negative, and told me to take Flonase. When I pay for a doctor’s appointment I expect to at least be examined properly. Won’t be returning.
Wonderful staff. They were patient and kind.
I was in need of getting a prior authorization sent and approved in order to get my prescription filled with my new insurance provider. the out of pocket cost was nearly $600, of which I could not afford. Brittany, the office administrator who took my call went above and beyond to make sure Nurse Practitioner Erin Grey, my amazing provider, got the documents to fill out. Not only did nurse practitioner Gray personally call me to go over every detail to ensure the prior authorization would be as detailed as possible for approval, but the patience, kindness, and true care I always feel when in her care is a something I am truly grateful to have. She is with out a doubt one of the most caring and helpful providers I have ever had and am grateful to have her as my provider. Furthermore, Brittany personally called me to let me know Nurse Practitioner Erin Gray completed the paperwork and she personally just faxed it to the insurance company. When all feels like it’s going against you when dealing with insurance and healthcare, Nurse Practitioner Erin Gray, Brittany and the entire AFC Auburn team was there for me. I owe much thanks to Brittany, Nurse Practitioner Gray and AFC Auburn for providing me a place where I can come to and feel safe, and cared for! For that I am grateful and would highly recommend Nurse Practitioner Erin Gray and the kind, patient and helpful staff at AFC Auburn to anyone who wants impeccable care.
Very good experienceStaff was very friendly and attentive
Excellent service, the place is super clean. The nurses are very friendly and helpful. The Doctors have excellent patient treatment. They are all professionals. I highly recommend it.
The wait was long, but once I got taken back they were very quick. After checking my vitals the nurse left and the doctor came in almost immediately. He asked a few questions then listened to my lungs. Told me his diagnosis and quickly sent in my prescriptions. The nurses and the doctors are always very friendly and helpful. My prescriptions were ready as soon as I walked up to the counter!
Got me in quickly and provided great service!
Staff was amazing! I was in and out in less than an hour all while the staff made me feel cared about and heard. Highly recommended!
The visit was quick and the staff is awesome! The NP is amazing!!!!
Sherveta was great, not sure if this is the spelling of her name because I was not feeling well. She made me comfortable with great manners and empathy. From the front desk staff , to the nurse and doctor was great today. Love the new check in system they have also, I was able to wait outside in my car until my spot came up, which I checked from my phone.
About 20 minutes to go back to one of the rooms. Examination took only about 5 minutes though and was entirely non-invasive, so I’m honestly not sure if it was anywhere near thorough enough. Customer service was good though.
They have great staff, but only one PA/NP-C staff was there due to students going home for the summer. It was a tremendously long wait. Therefore, if I had been sick with a stomach virus, I am sure that I wouldnt have stayed. That is why Im rating only a 3.
As a native of Montgomery, I was unsure about stopping when out of town, but I found myself away from home and unable to walk. The staff was very patient with me. The doctor was very thorough. One staff member was particularly kind. Charlisa had a sweet, efficient, and professional manner. I really appreciate the care I received.Update: Ummm. I had blood work done there. No one called me about the results. The very nice pharmacist let me know my new diagnosis. If she hadnt informed of this new info, I would have had no idea. She transferred to the doctors office. I was hung up on twice after waiting. Then called back a third time. A young lady read notes off of a screen for me. She could not answer any questions. Yeah, this place is okay if you are in pain. Buy dont expect any follow up care.
They were very nice and very professional with great hospitality
Even though there were a lot of us there and only one provider, everyone was friendly and focused on taking care of us. Great care and service as usual.
Great visit, wonderful, caring staff, my first visit and plan to make this my place to go for medical issues. Thank you for your help and kindness from check-in to check-out!
The visit I had at AFC on South College street was great. I didnt have to wait long to be seen. The doctor and other staff wereprofessional and friendly.Kudos to them 👏
I am a new resident of Auburn. I came to the clinic for foot paint. The staff is just awesome here. The wait wasnt long at all. Lacie took an xray of my foot and she was asking questions out of concern. If you ever have any illnesses this is the place to go. Mariah you are so awesome!!!. Ms. Dawn helped me with registration. Ms.Posey was great and took care of that foot. AWESOME!!!!
Everyones was so sweet and nice , I would refer people to yall
I always use this urgent care, for all my urgent care needs. Great quality professional service. The bonus you can schedule online and monitor your spot in line. Highly recommend.
This is one of the most disrespectful places I have been to. We got in the building around 830 and had to do paperwork so we didnt get called back until 10. (I know the wait times are long so I wasnt upset about the waiting) After an hour and a half with nobody coming into the room at all I popped my head out the door to ask the nurse how much longer it was going to be before someone came in and with the most disgusting tone I was told you can just leave if you dont like the wait. It took my husband coming in the building to actually be seen. So my 30 minute COVID test took me exactly 3 hours and 53 minutes. The only good thing about this place is the lovely woman working front counter and the pharmacist.
Im not entirely sure who the doctor was that I saw Gray maybe? Dont quote me on her name.Either way she had great bedside manner. You could tell she cared and wanted to help. She made me feel comfortable
My visit with AFC was very pleasant. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient in my interactions with them. They have a pharmacy onsite and that was extremely convenient. I will certainly go back if I have the need in the future.
Outstanding staff. Very personable and attentive. Can’t thank you enough!
This is the best urgent care experience I have ever had! Everyone was so nice and helpful and seemed to genuinely care making sure I felt okay. The doctor was very thoughtful and was easy to talk to! I also used their pharmacy and the pharmacist walked me through each medication and gave me tips on drinking lots of water and having a meal with the medication. She even explained that the medicine could make birth control slightly less affective. I was feeling horrible this morning but this visit made my day!
I’ve frequented AFC for the last few years that I have lived here and the staff has always been very patient and knowledgeable, and I haven’t had a bad experience. Although being short staffed today, Charlisa, the medical assistant, was extremely kind and professional and I wouldn’t have been able to tell that they have been busy by her patient care and attentiveness.I recommend AFC, even when they’re busy. Their care is worth the wait!
This is probably the best visit I have had at AFC in a very long time and hope it will be the new norm at AFC! Met a new (to me) Doctor today and I liked him right away! He intoduced himself and then began to ask me about the reason for my visit. When he found out that I had recently been to AFC with a UTI he looked up the results from the test I had that day, retrieved it and went over it with me! I told him how sick I still felt and the amount of pain and discomfort I was in and had already finished the antibiotic given me and that I could not understand it! He asked me more questions and then addressed my level of pain with a pill and water and a shot! I was visibly having difficulty with walking even with my cane! And could hardly fill out the forms while waiting to see a Dr. He (Dr. Bianchi) stayed focused on my answers to his questions and interested in solving the issues I described! Very refreshing to have his full focus on my real issues! He did not dismiss me as just an old woman with the usual complaints! He showed me the report from the labs done on my last visit and went over it with me! I had been discouraged on my last visit because the Dr. I had seen even verbally doubted that I had a UTI etc, but would send out to the Lab for testing! And never called me with the results or follow up! Because of her attitude, I almost did not return!! Now I am glad I did! Thanks AFC for the great care I received yesterday!
This place is awesome. I get sick often so coming to this urgent care makes me feel at ease. The service is always incredibly quick, efficient, and you can tell they actually care about you. From the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors, they all are intentional in their practice.
The intake nurse was AMAZING ! She is an untapped and caring treasure at this urgent care. Im really sorry I didnt get her name.
Sciatica pain could not sit or stand.. but sat for over 1 hour 3 or4 rooms release at same time and only1 person is called back...We explained chiropractor suggest this place and I needed a shot for pain.....We finally asked for refund and went to ER... We were NOT the only people asking how.much longer.... there were 4 people in office when we arrived 8 when we left... WILL NOT GO BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE... THE ACT OF NONCHALANT WAS DISGUSTING......
The entire Staff from AFC from my visit around 10am -12:45pm was excellent today. However, these ladies went above and beyond (or they just didnt show it was just their job).. Vee, Mariah and the young lady who worked triage (towel lady) on today all were very professional, nice, caring and pleasant. They all worked together as a team on today in caring for me. Vee was excellent in collecting/obtaining my blood for labs (quick), Mariah was persistent & funny at the same time and the young lady who worked triage was a good listener and was trying to get down to root of the problem. She even brought me a cold towel in the room while waiting. Thanks ladies...
The whole staff was very friendly, considerate and professional. I will highly recommend to my family and friends. Keep up the great work you all are doing. Thanks for caring for me today.
I had an amazing doctor come and see me and she was willing to be my primary, for I am not from Auburn and only have a year left in college. She urged me to get my blood tested, which I obliged, but it was EXTREMELY unfortunate that Mariah, one of the nurses felt that I was too much? I was silent and did everything she asked, which was simply holding out my arm, and she proceeded to act as if I was being difficult? Telling me that if I didn’t want to do get my blood taken then I can just leave. Excuse me? I am literally sitting in silence allowing you to do your job. Very unprofessional and as I explained to her I usually do not do this (most nurses have pricked my finger), so I’m confused on why me sticking out my arm simply wasn’t enough. I allow her to stick me again and this time she storms out and asks someone else to do it. Like, what girl? 😂😂 Mind you, I’m silent, doing what she asks, and Im on my phone to try to ignore the incoming pain from a needle sticking me in the same place TWICE. You can’t find my veins? They’re not even small. I donate blood. So I politely decline because I refuse to get stuck a third time, although Im sure he other nurse was able. So if you come to this establish, ask for any other nurse. I’m sure they would love to help you!
My lady at check in did an amazing job! She was so friendly and fast but wanted to get to know about me as a person. It was so nice even after a long wait to be greeted so nicely!
I was really appreciative of the customer services from the Medical Asst to the Nurse and FNP. All were very pleasant courteous and very professional. I was able to be triage in a very timely manner. I really appreciate all of the services. I started feeling better immediately.
People were very helpful. The wait was a little long. , but I did not feel well either. Feel 40% better today. Hope I and better again tomorrow
I had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was very friendly, helpful, and caring. I was seen very quickly and all of needs were addressed and taken care of. I would specifically like to thank Kay, Ms. Rachel, & Clarissa for taking such good care of me.
Very nice staff and prompt fast service!
The place was super clean and smelled so great! I was in and out quick. The doctor was very kind when he had to tell me I was positive for covid and apologized for making us leave through the back. The pharmacist was super sweet. They also filled me a prescription for nausea after I had left. Definitely will be returning the next time I am sick!
There was another mary that checked in right after me and happened to be sitting closer to the door than me. when they called my name to go back she went back (which is fine, easy mistake) well i went up too and explained i checked in before her and to verify if it was the right person. they looked at me confused then asked the person that called the other mary back and responded to me like i was stupid that they had the right one. whatever thats fine just rude. then they come back 15 minutes later and call mary so i stand up and ask which one and they say mary knight and i explain the situation again as no one else was coming and they told me i was wrong and dumb and whatever and assume this other mary is not there and call her phone and all that. then 10 minutes later they call back someone else that got there after me and i go back up to the front desk and explain the situation give my name and dob and they say i am already back there and all that and stuff. this is against hippa or no?? cause they never verified the first mary like i asked and that means all that stuff was happening in my chart and whatnot. I guess it probably is not against hippa but it is very unprofessional. not giving 1 star because once i was back the doctor was very nice and helpful but this experience in the waiting room really ruined the whole experience.
Took me right in. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Went over all my symptoms, discussed treatment, gave medication and I was on my way! Would recommend!
Very friendly and professional Doctors and staff. I wasnt sure what to expect when I arrived, but they were very helpful. Im extremely thankful and glad I went to AFCS!
Quick, easy check in. Easy to see my spot in line and estimated wait time. The PA was knowledgeable, helpful, quick, and efficient. Definitely recommend!
I write this as I am in the waiting room towards the end of my 3rd hour. Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand a busy schedule and trying to get to as many patients as possible while maintaining proficient care. What I do have a problem with is walking into the clinic and being told i’m not allowed to leave because the doctor/NP is working faster than anticipated and my wait time would not be longer than 30 minutes. Not only am I missing class, I am now missing work because of the receptionists inability to accurately convey the true nature of the wait times. Should they have told me the wait time, I could have gotten lunch, gone to class, maybe even gone into work for an hour by this point. Wait times are okay, purposely lying to every patient that walks into the door about those wait times is not.
I went to this place because I was having sinus issues. The doctor was so nice and she listened to what I was saying. At the end, she told me that my allergic reaction was the cause of a Sinus Infection that I didnt know I had. She gave me medicine and an inhaler to help my airways in the case an allergic reaction happens again. She was very informative and caring. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I came here on a Sunday when the waiting room was pretty much empty. Its best to go at a time that you know not alot of people are there so you can go in an out quickly.
Quick check in process. Had a very short wait time to see the doctor. All staff extremely pleasant and professionally. Had my prescriptions filled onsite; they were ready by the time I finished with the doctor.
NP Erin Gray is the bomb diggity. Really, all of the staff are beyond amazing!
Went to regular Dr.s office yesterday wouldnt be seen for like 4 hrs would not take me in as walk in. So went to urgent care here and was in and out within a hour. Staff was awesome they helped me fill out insurance information I couldnt figure out. I could see myself going back if urgent care is needed.the staff had wonderful attitudes.
I had to have 2 shots and was anticipating “big sticks”, but Charlisa did AMAZING!! I did not feel anything and she made sure i was doing okay the whole time. I also love Erin Gray, NP. She took the time to hear all my symptoms and just didn’t write me off. They are great.
Ms. Sevetra was absolutely amazing. She took extra time to explain things and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what was going on when I left. She also has the best attitude you will ever find in a doctor’s office, and probably anywhere.
Update: Manager called me today and we discussed the issues. An antibiotic was called in (by another dr there) for her so hopefully she will feel better soon.Update: Problems still not solved. No call backs from American Family Care or from the manager that said he would help to resolve these issues. Out money still very sick. Not happy with this establishment. Copay was a lot higher plus doing your info thru your phone. When you are sick you dont feel like doing all that!! Want come back.
I received absolutely abysmal service the last two times I was there. I went multiple times in 2021 and early 2022 and it was fine, but theyve gone way down hill since for some reason. Theyre completely disorganized. The urgent care down the street is much better and less crowded.
Anna Patterson was great! She was thorough and took the time to listen to all of my complaints and addressed each one! I would definitely recommend her!
