If your veins are usually difficult to find in blood work situations, do yourself a favor and don’t go to this planned parenthood location. Even knowing my veins are challenging to find & being patient in those moments, I’ve never had a medical provider unable to eventually find them and do what needs to be done.I was already in there as follow up appointment to re-do blood work, due to my previous blood draw breaking on the way to the lab, from routine testing at another planned parenthood I hadn’t previously visited.Today after two people searched & one person tried unsuccessfully, I got turned away and told I’d have to schedule a third appointment with a completely different medical provider just to finish routine testing. My patience has reached its limits.Normally I really appreciate what planned parenthood has to offer, at my usual center. This was Not It.I’ll stick to the center I normally go to instead of trying these other locations out of “convenience”.
They canceled my very important time sensitive appointment, and their attempt to contact me about it was one phone call with no voice message, this is allegedly because I never saw that phone call. Thats just what they told me. This put me in a very bad spot emotionally, etc. I took time off of work and everything. I made the first appointment a couple of weeks in advance. I ended up needing to drive down to Arvada 2 weeks later for a new appointment. This was the earliest I could find. Like I said, it put me in a very very bad spot. I wish they would have tried to notify me better given the circumstances of the appointment.
I am a huge advocate of Planned Parenthood and have even donated but this location needs to close asap. They hardly offer services here. They also will send you a bill and make it impossible to pay until they send you to collections.PP needs to cut its losses and close this location.
If I could leave no stars I would, most unwelcoming place with horrible customer service. The girls up front didn’t have a welcoming demeanor, I had to pick up an emergency day after pill I told them I can’t take plan B because I’m over a certain weight & a worker that wasn’t even part of the conversation interrupted and said “Well Ella probably wouldn’t work for you either” BTW, it worked…..when you sign up to work in healthcare it is your duty to provide outstanding service & support to ANY client tell.I hope that these ladies are held accountable because I left feeling bad about myself.Go to planned parenthood in Park hill instead, outstanding service & very welcoming. (Where I received my emergency pill from) :)
I would give zero stars if possible. They lack communication among staff and make customers suffer. I was literally buzzed in and told to be seated and they’ll be with me shortly. They told me since I never checked in they had to cancel my appointment, but I was literally WAITING LIKE THEY TOLD ME. I had an appointment and they didn’t care, they said I could come for a walk-in but don’t guarantee that I’ll even be seen. So just sit there and waste even MORE time than I already had. I didn’t realize it was so hard to buzz people in and simply get them checked in. All thanks to Samarah or whatever her name is.Don’t waste your time!
They have been super nice, I got scared because of the reviews but honestly they have been great to me. Cant complain, quick, informational and made me feel comfortable.
I visited this clinic to receive a form of contraception that my primary healthcare system doesnt offer because they are religiously-affiliated. I had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone I spoke with was warm and welcoming, and the enviroment felt safe and trauma-informed. The explanation of my services was very thorough and I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions. This clinic is offering important services to our community and I certainly plan to continue to support them. Thank you!
Booked my annual wellness exam here since there are no available appointment around my area. 2 hours before my appointment, when i was on my way there, they called and have to cancel my appointment reasoning the commissioner called in sick and no one is there to accommodate me for my appointment. I had to take a work leave for my appointment but they just wasted my pto and time. Would not recommend this place.
I came to this location as a walk-in with severe pelvic pain and a displaced IUD with lost strings. Sue told me on the phone to come in to this location and try to be seen same day because the schedule was pretty open and my issue was urgent. I explained this to Samira at the front desk when I arrived, and she initially seemed helpful. But as soon as she noticed my Star of David necklace, her whole demeanor changed from warm to vicious. She looked right at it and then looked me in the eyes, pursed her lips, and loudly asked me if I was looking for STI screening (I already said I wasn’t) and I explained again I was in serious pain from my IUD and needed an ultrasound. Samira again announced to the waiting room that I could try waiting, but they refused to treat me. She said if it really hurt that badly, I would have tried removing it myself at home before coming in. I tried to move the conversation forward and I asked if she wanted my information so she could call me up to the front if there was a spot, but she said it would be a waste of her time, then she suggested I “move my drama along” to urgent care because “they actually have to treat everyone”. I still waited awhile, and she let three other people walk in and get help ahead of me. At one point, she was talking loudly in the back behind the counter with a female practitioner who pointed at me and said “is that woman waiting for something?” and Samira said “no, she’s just a random walk in and I already told her we wouldn’t be seeing her. Hopefully she gets the hint and just leaves soon!”. As soon my husband pulled up to the clinic from running errands, I ran out of there. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life.
I would like to give more than the lowest rating but considering this is my fourth appointment with the *company* gone awry in 6 weeks, having been seen for a grand total of ZERO minutes and gotten no real notice of yet another appointment canceled; I have no real choice. Hopefully someone who gives a damn will see this and do something to improve the quality of care provided to their community. Like having some.
I scheduled my appointment two weeks prior only to be called an hour before my appointment saying it was canceled and needed to be rescheduled
Very dissappointed... I had severe uti and needed to be seen asap. This was the 2nd planned parenthood I went to and was turned away. They dont care about womens health. I got there at 12:30 on a Saturday when every other place was closed. They dont accept walk ins but advertise they do. Very dissappolointing
Terrific team! Everything was super easy, from booking online, to arriving via light rail (so convenient, love that). My healthcare associate Christopher was so kind and explained everything clearly and thoroughly which made a great experience even better. Building is easy to find, safe, private, and secure so you can attend your appointment in peace. Yay planned parenthood thank you so much!
The Aurora office makes all planned parenthood look bad. If u can schedule somewhere else, at another PPRM do so. The service, the understanding, their attitudes, etc etc sucks!! The Aurora office DOESNT represent care PERIOD!!!
The staff here were very friendly and courteous. Made an appointment over the phone and arrived early. Only spent a couple minutes waiting for my appointment before I was called back. They answered all of my questions and I left feeling better than I usually do leaving from doctors appointments. Lobby and rooms were very clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend.
I’ve been to 4 or 5 different PP locations and this by far is my favorite after one visit. I walked in without an appointment to see if I could get an extra pack of birth control pills because for the first time in 9 years I forgot to renew my prescription and it was expired and I had no pills show up in the mailbox. The friendly staff informed me I could get an extension if it was less than a month past expiration (which it was). She was able to get me a pack in just a few minutes. Life saver! I also came in about 10 minutes before closing and was still treated with kindness and respect. The cherry on top is when I told her about my upcoming appointment (which I made in Arvada, because I was told over the phone it was the only location that had the soonest appointment) so I figured I’d ask about their location and she said they could get me in the same day at their location AND cancel my appointment at the Arvada location for me. I look forward to coming back here for my wellness appointment.
Waited two weeks to renew my birth control. I work Monday through Friday so weekends are the only time I can do it showed up 13 minutes late technically 10 but I had to run back in my car to get my facemask and they told me I had to reschedule. There was no one waiting lobby empty. In 2020 they sent me at this location with an appt and it was CLOSED. 2 weeks later in pregnant. Same stuff in a way. Very frustrating I don’t want to go through that again. My cycle is all messed up, never even asked how this would affect me. I’m getting insurance and a different provider in the future.
I came in 3mins before they closed hoping they could fill my birth control last minute and got told they shut down their credit card services/can’t reopen them and to come Monday if I didn’t have cash. If somewhere closes at 3pm I should be able to use their services until 3pm. Never been this late anywhere but was hoping the circumstances were different. Happy Saturday to this place, they needed it..
I’ve been here a few times for birth control and preventative care and the last two times I had an appointment I was turned away. Both times I was there for a simple injection. The first time I was turned away when I was there for my scheduled appointment their reasoning was that they had nobody there that could administer an injection. Thankfully someone canceled at another location close by that I was able to go to.The second time they turned me away during an appointment for an injection because I medically cannot were a facial covering without passing out. They said I either wear a mask or I leave, but they let me in the building when I told them I had no mask.I would not recommend this location. Their billing process is messed up too. They lost a sample of mine once and I had to pay for more testing. When I came here before I had a job and medical insurance, they did nothing to help with the cost of my bill either. I thought this was a place that anyone could go to when they need help, but apparently I was wrong.I would highly recommend going to a Family Planning location instead of a Planned Parenthood.
Wish I had read the reviews before I made an appointment here. I was in the waiting room for about 45 minutes which is actually fine in my book, but I was left in the doctors office for another 50 minutes with no pop in to say that the wait would be long. I almost thought they’d forgotten about me. I was supposed to get an IUD and the experience was much different than my last one and despite all the awkwardness and discomfort she couldn’t get the IUD in and that just pushed me over the edge so I just left without waiting for the doc to get back with some pill to help the next time. She suggested I come during or soon after my cycle which I’m annoyed no one mentioned it before my appointment, but let’s talk about during the session. The doctor kept having to readjust the light and honestly I think she should have had an assistant so it would have been a lot faster. Last experience I had the doctor had help and even though it’s 5-10 minutes, when you’re on the table like that every second matters. I also didn’t feel very confident in her ability and I’m been through this before, it just felt unnecessarily longer than usual. I told them outright I didn’t want to reschedule with them to get it inserted. Who wants to stick around for TWO HOURS and not get what they were coming for and you”re not sure if it’s your cervix like she said or her lack of ability or potential lack of experience or because you’ve been sitting on the table too long and your cramped up and it won’t go in. I definitely wouldn’t bother going here. Don’t let the nice staff mislead you, you’ll still wait two hours. If they are running behind two hours they should consider calling ppl to come in later or give more time in between appointments so ppl are wasting away for two hours.
I was 3 minutes late and they turned me away. I was the only person in the waiting room they didn’t close until 7pm and I called the 1800 # and they told me 3 minutes would be ok. Unprofessional.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLANNED PARENTHOOD. They do not answer their phones and cancel your appointment without any notice. Go to a different clinic if you can help it. An embarrassment.
Ive never had bad service here, but as of today I usually get to my appointments 20mins before. I arrived for my appointment that was originally at 3:00pm an hr has passed by and I still seem to not get called back. Two women walked in minutes after me and theyve seem to get called back before me. What are appointments for if Im not getting the service I need when I scheduled my time. I really want to know whats going on?
They cancelled my appointment without telling me? Literally AWFUL.. they dont care about anyone... incompetent and careless
On Saturday I went online to make an appointment, as I needed to refill my birth control. I needed to get in as soon as possible, but it looked like the next available day was Monday, January 1st. I thought to myself weird, I would assume they would be closed. Since most businesses are.So I make an appointment for Monday at 10Am, because thats as asap as I can get.So I get there, actually at 10:05, and guess what. They were closed.Another lady showed up after me and said she called and made an appointment. She physically talked to someone, and made an appointment.I understand why you were closed. I really do. But how are you gonna let people make appointments if youre not actually open. Its not even our faults. You guys have no signs on your doors saying youll be closed.Im disappointed that this happened. I made another appointment for tomorrow. Hope youre open.
Recently moved to the Denver area from Texas where I had been receiving care at a PP location in DFW. Had been on antibiotics for a UTI when I moved and had some mild symptoms pop back up. Called around to a few clinics and Aurora was able to get me scheduled the next day. Staff was AMAZING everyone was super nice and listened to all the details of my health history and current concerns. Ended up putting me on another antibiotic and sending urine out for a culture. They had the medication in clinic was was super convenient since I do not have a pharmacy established here yet. Will definitely return to this clinic!
Very professional service.I don’t know why it has some bad reviews.I definitely will be back.Nurse and Doctor were very nice and helpful answering my questions.Front desk super nice !!!Finally a place where they treat you good when is about women health.
They are friendly and knowledgeable. The only issue I have, is there are rarely any doctors available to do my yearly pap smear.Helped me through my miscarriage.More people need to donate a couple of dollars to PP every year, so we can keep doctors around all week long at these locations instead of only a few days per week.
Do not come here , never . I was there to get tested, I gave them my urine , I was waiting for my results, gues what happened? They called me next day to come back and to give them my urine again because the have lost it ! Really ? The wors experience ever . And that’s not all, they have also sent the bills to my insurance company to pay pay for the tests they never made !! Horrible, unprofessional and irresponsible !
Front desk lady very rude kept repeating herself with info that wasn’t even answering my question. I asked if she could contact another location and she said no. Upon arrival to other location they said that was very strange. Park hill location was very nice and helpful in assisting me.
Incredibly kind and compassionate. Can’t express enough gratitude for the folks here. Everything is nice, neat, and comfortable, and the care I consistently receive here is top notch. 5 star location!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Doctors are useless there, staff is completely uneducated. Waited for a week for an appointment, waited over an hour in the waiting room for said appointment, and was told when I finally did see a doctor that they wouldnt do my scheduled procedure (a birth control implant) that I had already waited for and took time off work for! WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED ANYWHERE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME OF MY LIFE.
I have been going to this clinic for 11 years and they are just so amazing each and every time I go in. Everyone here is very knowledgeable, kind, and caring. Love this place!
Only come here if you have lots of time. came here to pick up refills that I called in the morning for still waited almost an hr to pick them up. Only 1 person helping chk people in and there were 5girls in the back laughing and playing
I had an appointment schedule today. I have been calling since Monday to reschedule for Friday. No one answers the phone or does callbacks.
Sweetest people ever! So nice and really made me feel comfortable. They helped me out a lot :-)
The staff is great but I’m not sure why I make an appointment and end up sitting in their waiting room for 50 minutes.
Imposible to get a hold of them!!! I have called about 30 different times… I’ve left my phone number so that they can call me back and never called!. till this day Iam still waiting for that phone call!!
Very informative and accommodating. Left this appointment feeling respected and well informed!
Expect a 2 hour wait even with an appointment, showing up early and your one of 3 people in there. The sad side to mention is when they are fully staffed.
They will make you wait an hour after your appointment to see you but if youre 20 minutes late because of something that you cant control they will throw out your appointment that you made and so sad, too bad
I dont know why but every time I try to call there I could never get through. Receptionist refers to something called the cell I say get rid of it, Is huge company poor service
I only waited for maybe 5 minutes and everyone was super kind! 10/10 would recommend.
I been here for a year now and all the ladies here are very beautiful, helpful, nice and respectful
This is possibly the worst facility Ive ever made an appt at. Waited for over an hour after my apt was scheduled
The staff is knowledgable, friendly, and patient. They talk things over and make you feel at ease.
I love all the staffs. Super welcoming, friendly, funny and helpful 🤍
The employees were very nice, and the clinic was clean and orderly.
Every time I go the staff is always very friendly, I have never had any issues.
They provide necessary services with kindness. Thank You for being here!
Most unprofessional doctor I have ever been seen by .
Dont waste your time here
Everyone who I interacted with was extremely kind. :)
First time going here and it was a great experience
Front desk staff was terrible
Very nice staff very helpful!
Amazing people 💞
I love this place
