Last year in January 2023, my husband and I decided to go to a reproductive health clinic as we were struggling to get pregnant. For a few years now I’ve known I probably have PCOS, but was never formally diagnosed with it. Overlake was able to help confirm this diagnosis after going through their very thorough process. Initially I was discouraged to find out I really did have PCOS. However, the doctor that my husband and I saw was incredibly encouraging and reassuring. When you’ve been trying to have a baby for nearly 2 years, hearing the words “we are going to help you be successful in growing your family,” it meant a lot to us! After going through the initial process of checking my egg supply and health of my fallopian tubes, my doctor determined that the PCOS was the biggest contributing factor to not being able to get pregnant. I wasn’t ovulating on a regular basis. They started me on Metformin (even though I don’t have diabetes), because it’s been known to help with ovulation as well. My doctor said after 3-6 months people start seeing results and getting pregnant. Right at the 3 month mark, we got pregnant!!! We are so grateful to our Dr. at Overlake Reproductive Health! I want to be sure to mention that not every method works the same for other women. This is just what worked for me and my situation! :) We will definitely be going back to Overlake and referring others as well!

Very unimpressive experience with them so we moved to a different clinic before starting any treatment. 1) all their files are paper files…in 2024. Their portal is awful and they don’t offer any option for electronic signature, which can be difficult if you don’t have access to a printer/scanner 2) worst, most painful blood draw of my life. Left bruising on my arm for weeks, ~3-4 inches 3) they would call and email me to request documents/information about/from my husband. Their reasoning being “usually the husband is working and asks us to talk to his wife.” I am the primary earner for our family, every time they called, I was at work. 4) during an ultrasound, they asked me to confirm my name and DOB, which I did, then a few minutes later someone came in and changed my name from “Willis” to “Willies” and left. 5) they are listed as in-network with Cigna, but their finance team said their embryologist is out-of-network. The embryologist makes up the majority of the cost of IVF. SRM was fully covered by our insurance, including the embryologist. 6) SART statistics showed worse than national average.Overall, this clinic felt like stepping into the 80’s and I was relieved to leave. I recommend working with SRM or PNWF before considering Overlake.

We are forever grateful to Overlake for making it possible to have our son. Dr Johnson and Dr Rehman, along with the wonderful team of nurses are the best at what they do. The nurses are highly responsive and always made me feel like I could reach out with questions as we went through this daunting process. My case wasn’t straightforward and after our first failed transfer, our doctors worked with our rheumatologist to figure out the right medications to give me during the second transfer that was eventually successful. The only issue I had was that things weren’t digital (lab work and everything else would require me to reach out to get them sent) but I think since then they’ve setup an online portal. They are truly an amazing team of experts who made our dreams come true.

Edited to add: My 2nd FET was successful and Im now a mother of 2 thanks to ORH. Dream come true.Go with ORH. Im telling you right now. This is one of the best decisions I made in my life. I did 3 rounds of IVF at a different clinic (SRM) - ended up with a total of only two viable embryos from all those cycles (several non-viable due to a fatal genetic condition which was our reason for doing IVF to begin with). Both embryo transfers failed. Then I switched to ORH - they ran all the tests and gave me a medical regimen specific to my body before even starting the egg retrieval cycle. They produced FIVE viable embryos from just one cycle, and my first transfer resulted in my beautiful baby girl who just turned 1. Im now going through a 2nd FET cycle hoping for baby #2! Im SO SO SO thankful that I switched to ORH from SRM. They have high success rates for a reason - they care enough to look at your personal needs and create a schedule thats right for your body. Also the staff is so kind and helpful, especially Jo.

Over 7 years ago I decided it was best to preserve my fertility after a tough divorce. Found Overlake and they were amazing (aside from cost). The nursing staff and the ARNP was fantastic. Was told I was a good candidate for freezing (all in cost ~$20k w meds all in for each cycle for a total of $40k cash) which I was told had an 98% success rate of coming out of freeze. After 2 cycles for retrieval and freezing I had 17 mature healthy looking eggs - enough to get at least one healthy embryo from, or so I thought. After paying $80/month and then $250/month for storage after three years I had found my partner! Once we were ready to use our eggs we had to go through another barrage of tests and 6 month wait. To end up with only 1 embryo out of 17 opportunities! Of which that embryo came back genetically abnormal. So heart breaking. In the run down with the doctor he seemed to not even know our case. Lab notes stated my eggs “looked off,” with 10/17 surviving thaw and remaining looked impacted by freeze. Doctor said “maybe your eggs just don’t like freezing… that can happen.” I said is that even heard of? Then he stated my partners, “sperm was twitchy looking,” of which I stated it was aspirated and not mature so yeah it wouldn’t be normal, which caught him off guard. The he moved onto, “Maybe they didn’t have enough.” Then moved onto stating I could purchase a donor egg, which I wasn’t interested in. Why spend $40k preserving your fertility, what I was sold as a pretty damn good insurance policy if a donor egg was an option?!? He then stated, “I could try another round of freezing.” Even though 5 months before his comment was, “it’s a good thing you froze getting an egg now would be next to impossible,” when I challenged him on this he was flummoxed. I then relented that we had to try, so he checked and lo and behold they had PLENTY of sperm so much there was a second vial! So why throw these hypotheticals out! He appeared ill prepared, uninformed and like he was hiding something. But would be willing to sell a desperate patient more options. After this appointment I no longer had faith in my clinic; compounding heart break. The doctor had no clue about my case- and no wonder it’s like a regular shop in there, turn and burn.Since I have moved to another clinic with the uphill battle of trying to get a healthy egg that fertilizes and passes PCG at the tender age of 42. What I still can’t get past is how my eggs “looked off like they didn’t like freezing.” There is ZERO lab notes on the freezing method after retrieval, ZERO lab notes on the status through the years I paid storage and only from when they attempted to thaw. Like they were ruined somewhere along the way. Labs keep notes unless there is a problem! All my providers are trying to not cross the legal line but think the whole thing is “ highly unusual”. What did the power go out? Freezer fail? And if eggs are indeed this fragile with such poor results I wish someone had informed me during my $40k decision at that pivotal moment. I would have attempted to fertilize some of those eggs to embryo for testing knowing they were good and not sit with a false sense of security. But no I was told I was doing a good safe thing to ensure my future.I feel like precious time was stolen from me. My amazing ARNP was empathetic and amazing but the doctors gave zero communication and fumbled my case. I have no faith can’t help but feel based on the above something happened while my eggs were in storage because no one is saying anything and the lab notes mysteriously have no information. On top of it all they billed a full cycle to my insurance (thank god I finally have) for a failed fertilization!!!! Same as if I had a retrieval and fertilization.I wish am glad to see there are happy ending for some patients here. But I still can’t help but feel completely taken and now lost complete faith in this clinic.

After we conceived i was able to be seen for multiple ultrasounds before getting into my OB which eased our nerves! Positives: The team exhibits exceptional intelligence, and in my assessment, this clinic stands out for its commendable qualifications and state-of-the-art equipment, particularly when compared to the PNW.Negatives: However, a myriad of concerns surfaces.Dr job is to convince people for IVF and rest all job is nurse, Firstly, the demeanor of the nursing staff is notably chilly, lacking friendliness and potentially attributed to either an attitude issue or dissatisfaction with their pay. Secondly, the medical assistants responsible for blood draws, despite their qualifications, lack the experience to execute the procedure seamlessly, often causing discomfort. Thirdly, the importance of regular doctor-patient meetings for emotional well-being is emphasized, yet such interactions are sparse. Additionally, a noticeable inclination towards promoting IVF raises concerns, prompting a plea for both patients and doctors to reconsider and provide substantiated reasoning. Furthermore, the standardized approach to IVF, with patients grouped into clinic batches, raises eyebrows, as it deviates from the personalized care one would expect in such a sensitive area as fertility treatment. Lastly, the doctors tend to share information, of which only 20% proves pertinent, with the remainder delving into unrelated topics such as personal vehicles and negatives, ultimately steering patients towards IVF. This process, coupled with extended waiting periods for follow-up appointments, contributes to a less-than-ideal patient experience..I dont recommend this clinic unless they change for helping patients and not just think of patients as cash cow. Sorry .

Did twice egg freezing with here. First round the egg quality was not good and numbers was not ideal for my age at 28, so I had to proceeded with a second round. I only seen doctor at first consultation and surgery. Most of the time I deal with the nurses with prescription and orders. Nurses were super busy and respond to emails only mostly, but they do try to reply in time. I learned injections through videos. Front desk admin is always friendly.Second round I had very dangerous estrogen levels 6K+. Had over 30+ eggs retrieved but ended with very serious OHSS. I didn’t get proper instructions on diery, immediately ate milk and proteins after surgery, and had very bloating belly with bloody pee. I wasn’t able to lay down nor sleep for 2 days. The pain pills cause constipations that I wasn’t aware of until I went to ask pharmacists. The storage bill came crazily. It was $90 per month and then will be $250 per month after 3 years. I paid the transfer fees and had eggs moved to long term facility. Process was smooth and I appreciate the embryolosiysts on patiently answer questions. Now I moved to the east coast and need to do another round into embryos. my current clinic wasn’t careful on ordering needles and has the mixer needle missing. I have to start the injection by period day, and I wanted to know if I can use a thinner needle to mix the $400 out-of-pocket powder that I need for the day, but nurses were not responding. I always appreciate for the past experience and as my last hope, I called the oncall nurse and started with sincerely apologizing for interrupting her at 7pm. she replied a phone call with very bad attitude that instantly put me into tears immediately.I ran out of clues and put it as the last resource and wonder if she can help unblock by answering a general nursing question with her expertise at 7pm of her time. I would not blame for her attitude but I’d appreciate if she as a nurse can at least have any sympathy on a girl out of hope, and be peaceful when talking.

SCAMMING CLINICUpdate: they responded saying they’ve tried to help me BUT they have actually said “their hands are tied until I take the review down”. You are liars!I removed my review for 2 months waiting for them to correctly submit my claims. It hasn’t happened.I removed my review and have still not heard from Lisa. I want my check for the 2nd retrieval that I did not have done. So the review is going back up.I have filed a complaint with Pramera, the BBB and the Insurance commissioner of Washington State. All potential patience BEWARE! Unethical practices at the clinic.I will also be taking this into my own hands and filing an appeal with my insurance since you refuse to fix your wrongs. You will not coerce, intimidate or steal from me.What you are doing is called INSURANCE FRAUD.I feel so scammed and taken advantage by this clinic. Over the past year I have had financial information withheld from me and have had to pay over $15,000 cash for services that should have been covered by my insurance… which I was told would be in my financial consultation in January. Ever since then I have been nickel and dimed by SURPRISE charges and costs for standard things that My insurance covers. It wasnt until I got a call from my Fertility Advocate through my insurance that I found out I should not have paid cash for any of my retrievals. She has been investigating and researching what they have been doing and she advised me to cancel my next retrieval until this investigation is complete. They have submitted claims using wrong codes so that my insurance wouldn’t cover the procedures and Inwould have to pay cash. I am currently waiting to hear back from the office manager who is waiting to hear back from the financial admin and their remote insurance admin. This is just scratching the surface of the issues with this clinic. Besides that I have called and asked about the refund policy before my first retrieval because I was so stressed from having to deal with the office and medical staff. Very poor communication, I was not assisted in any way how to navigate their process. I’ve had to figure it all out myself and constantly email, leave voicemails and call to chase them down for information. The emails and many voicemails have gone in answered and I’ve had enough. The office manager also refused to give my advocate their tax ID for her to research what she needed. She has never experienced a clinic purposely refusing to give her their tax ID… what are they hiding???I will update this after they re submit my claim using the proper codes and when my insurance agrees to cover my retrieval.

I love everyone there - from the front desk receptionists, the medical assistants who do an awesome job drawing blood, and returning emails, and phone calls promptly! :) Dr. Rehman, and Dr. Johnson did a fantastic job with explaining everything . Nurses - Jo Gray, and Michelle Ingram were also great during our process. I am pregnant with our miracle baby on the first try, all thanks to this team for being very positive!Throughout the two years of our process, it was yet stressful, and emotionally draining but also staff was positive. Some suggestions I have to mention is that I wish we are able to know ahead of time when something is being billed to us, instead of after the visit. Honestly, we forget, its a nice reminder. And I know at times it takes some time for insurance to get back to you guys. At times, some things were written in the financial contract in the beginning, but it would be courteous to remind the patient before their appointment, that this appointment is not in your peace of mind and it will be billed to your insurance. Which I would totally understand. Also I really wish there was a support group throughout all of our process the last two years - like an online support group, or a meet-&-greet, future parents group of Overlake Reproductive Health - that would be awesome if you guys had that.Otherwise I still give five stars because of the compassionate service you guys did for me, my husband and our little miracle! Thank you so much! ~EH

We tried a few IUI’s and one IVF. These didn’t work foe me because my eggs were too old, other than that my body was fine. I took a while before I decided to try embryo adoption. It had been almost 2 years since I had talked to the clinic. When I called they remembered who I was and I got an email within minutes of my phone call. I called and scheduled an appointment, that I waited 3 months for. Fine, no big deal. However the week before my appointment, I connected with the office to talk about what I would like to go over in my first initial appointment and that I wanted to explore all options and leave IVF as a last resort. That is all I wanted, was to talk about options. The receptionist however replied with, why don’t you call us back when you are ready to get pregnant. I told her I was ready, that I simply wanted to explore all options aside from IVF. She replied with the same answer, why don’t you call us back when your ready to get pregnant. Based on the simple fact she wasn’t listening to me, or even offering any sort of comfort like: let’s connect you with the doctor at your appointment and he can discuss everything in detail. She simply disregarded me, and also canceled my appointment with out my permission. I have since researched another clinic and was shown kindness compassion and a plan, with open arms which is just the sort of comfort you need when addressing fertility.

My husband and I have learned an immense amount (clinically and emotionally) during our IVF journey which has now lasted over 4 years. We started out at clinics in London and felt that we were riding a conveyor belt of women who were basically just a number to the doctors and nurses. We also rarely saw the same doctor or nurse on subsequent visits and felt that the advice and course of treatment given to us was from a standardized protocol rather than specific to our needs. Therefore, when we decided to move our IVF treatment to the US, we knew much more about the type of care we were looking for. We did check out clinics across the US and decided on ORH because of the unique, customized and patient focused experience we believed we would receive from them. They did not let us down. Although communication was a challenge, given that we still reside in London, the clinic made it work for us and Jo and Jubilee in particular have been incredibly responsive over email. It has always helped on our side for us to be as thorough as possible with our questions but the team always makes every effort to answer all of our questions.Since deciding to work with ORH they have shown that they do not cut corners and were able to identify uterine polyps and scar tissue that no other clinic had unveiled. They dealt with those issues twice, plus significant challenges I had with the progesterone injections and we now have a beautiful baby girl and another baby on the way. We trust Dr. Johnson and Dr. Rehman wholeheartedly and do not hesitate to recommend ORH to everyone seeking fertility support.

My husband and I decided to go to Overlake Reproductive Health after needing a referral to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. After searching online, and talking with friends, I knew I wanted to go to a practice where I didnt feel like I was just a number. At ORH, that has definitely never been the case. The entire staff is wonderful, and know I am in good hands. My husband and I met with Dr. Rehman first, and after a very thorough round of testing, we went over our protocol plan for treatment. Dr. Rehman was both encouraging and optimistic, but also open about not wasting our time and money on treatment that would not be beneficial for our specific situation. Overlake is a small practice, and they encourage you to meet with all their staff so while I have seen Dr. Rehman more than Dr. Johnson, I have met with Dr. Johnson during my testing cycle, as well as a follow-up to discuss our treatment. Both physicians are very knowledgeable and great at being equal parts encouraging and realistic. The medical staff has been great at handling anything that has come up with me, as well as putting me at ease no matter how invasive the procedure has been thus far. Infertility is a scary, often times lonely journey, but the entire staff at ORH really helps you along this journey. The front and back office staff is friendly, and no matter who I see on a given day, I know that I am being well cared for. My husband and I are both happy to know that we have Overlake Reproductive Health in our corner while we grow our family.

They made me comfortable and made me confident in them and the route they wanted us to take. In the grand scheme of the huge daunting process of IVF the staff made everything just feel so easy. We are so grateful for ORH and our perfect little miracle boy.

Great place and great people! My husband and I had been struggling 7 years to get pregnant through meds, IUIs and finally IVF. After 2 rounds of IVF treatment Overlake Reproductive got me pregnant with my little rainbow girl!Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. If the person I was talking to was unable to solve my problem or answer my question I was given the contact info of someone who could. I never had any problems of being given the runaround like I have with other medical places. The Dr.s and Nurses were extremely informative whenever I had questions about a certain treatment or medicine that they wanted me to take and worked with me when a medicine didnt sit well with me. Throughout the whole process I felt like I was being listened to and my questions and concerns were listened to and address, not simply brushed off. When I recently had a question about a bill due to confusing wording, they worked with me and found a solution that worked for everyone.

Money hungry. They were real friendly at first and gave my husband and I a lot of hope. After we spent around $2000 on testing and I got pregnant on clomid the first round (only to miscarry at 5 weeks), they then told me I should do IVF. Excuse me? Obviously the clomid worked and we should try that out more before doing the most expensive option to have a baby. The nurses and staff are extremely cold. After telling them I had a miscarriage they didn’t say sorry or anything, just told me I had to be seen by the doctor before they could give me any info. I was calling because I was scared and didn’t know what to do. And they were cold to me about it.Awful communication between staff, nurses, and doctors. When I had my appt with the doctor, he didn’t even know I had a miscarriage. And this is after talking on the phone with staff and emailing them about it. Every time I call I get transferred and have to leave a voicemail because they don’t answer.I just want a baby. This is so hard and expensive. You’d think they’d be more kind and helpful. Instead they just want to keep doing the same tests over and over and push me to do even more expensive routes on baby making when something so simple actually worked!Help your patients out, be kind, have some sympathy, and don’t be so money hungry! You make soooo much off of these poor vulnerable couples. Shame on you.

We’re really thankful to ORH from the bottom of my heart. I know thankyou is a small word for the happiness of being parents. ORH people are very professional, supportive and very good in their job. Each and every person is really helpful. So my journey started in 2016 when we got to know that we needed fertility treatment and started to search about fertility clinics. We picked out ORH above all of them and we’re proud of ourselves for that. In 2018 I got pregnant but unfortunately had loss at 21 week but once I recovered from my loss I didn’t even think twice to choose ORH again. With God’s grace and with help of ORH I’m blessed with baby boy. He is a preemie, born at 27 week but growing fast and fine. Definitely, I would choose ORH again for my future pregnancy.

Every time a friend or family member would get pregnant I would shut down and cry. Wed been trying for a long time to have a family and it just wasnt happening. We finally decided that we should seek help. We went to Overlake Reproductive Health for fertility testing. We worked with Dr. Johnson & Dr. Rehman and their staff. They gave us hope and really listened to us. Through the fertility testing we were able to conceive our first child. The void that I had in the longing to have a child has finally been filled and we couldnt be any happier. We finally have our little family. I am so thankful for your guys support at Overlake Reproductive Health during a very trying time. I would recommend Overlake Reproductive health based on our great experience. We are so grateful for ORH to be part of this miraculous journey for us. We had been trying for many years since before 2015, when we first saw a fertility doctor in Pakistan. They recommended standard medications but we had no luck for 2 years. When we moved to Seattle we first tried another fertility clinic with two IUI attempts that also did not succeed. Getting more desperate we searched and found ORH in 2018. They first went through a very thorough and long process of testing over many months, including genetic testing to make sure we explore all possible causes of our inability to conceive and recurrent miscarriages. Finally, their advice was to try for IVF and our first attempt was made in May 2019. The Doctors at ORH recommended we use Prednisone for first 12 weeks of pregnancy as it may help with reducing NK (natural killer) cells, but we were concerned about side effects and decided not to use the steroid. Unfortunately that attempt also ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks and we were heart broken and almost running out of hope. We then had to again go through the process of recovery and scartissue removal surgery after that, and made our next IVF attempt in January 2020. This time, we decided to take the leap and try prednisone. By the grace of God this attempt was successful and we had our baby boy at the expected delivery date in October 2020. We are very grateful to the ORH doctors (Dr Rehman,Dr Johnson, Jo Gray) and all the nurses and staff for their highly professional, detailed, and courteous work ethic and commitment to getting the job done thoroughly, properly and successfully. They always provided us all the information we needed and were very transparent and also supportive of our decisions and concerns. It has been a very very long and dramatic journey for us and we are so grateful to God to make us succeed in the end, through the technical excellence and professionalism of ORH.So in summary we will say that the journey may not be an easy one and may be long and dramatic with many ups and downs. But if anyone does decide to embark on it, we wish you the very best and from our long experience will recommend ORH will be the best place to try. Thank you to everyone there from the bottom of our hearts.

Doctors and staffs are ok. They were professional enough, but the manager was not. They should seriously think to change the manager. I was treated like a person who doesn’t have enough money to come that clinic and their services. I was struggling emotionally and physically to have a baby. That manager was just adding me more than x 10 of anxiety. She said one day when I visited for a blood work, if I don’t pay the money at that moment, they would not do any service. I did not have any financial problems or unpaid bill for them. They also did not give my insurance coverage money back for more than a year. I called them and left message but never called me back until I left the message that I would report for an Insurance fraud; then the manager picked up the phone right away. I highly NOT recommend to my coworkers. I am working at a hospital. There are many coworkers who need reproductive health doctors for having a baby. You guys are making a big serious mistakes. Seriously you guys should change the manager.

Over the past couple of years we have had the opportunity to work with both Dr Johnson and Dr Rehman. They are both wonderful to work with and really make you feel comfortable. They both take the extra time to answer all of your questions and make the infertility struggle just a little easier to deal with. After several months of unsuccessful ovulation with clomid/letrozole my husband and I had more tests run and were told IVF was really our only option. At this point we started seeking second (and third and fourth..) opinions. We had four other reproductive endocrinologists (including SRM) tell us there was nothing they could do; we would not be able to have children that were genetically both of ours. We went back to Dr Johnson at ORH to start the IVf process. Dr Johnson at one point said if he had to put a number on it he would say 10% chance of success. I asked him why he said 10 when everyone else said zero, and he said “there’s too much medicine can’t explain and we don’t understand to say 0.” I really liked that outlook and it helped a lot each time we had to defy the odds throughout the process. We welcomed our healthy little girl into the world a few weeks ago.We certainly had a few bumps in the road throughout the process but ORH always did what they could to make it right. IVf and infertility is no different then other medical struggles, and you get the best care if you’re your own advocate and become knowledgeable on your situation and options. ORH was very receptive of my hundreds of questions to make sure I did exactly that. Thanks ORH!

I just started to go here in January - it has been overall a good experience. I really like Julie at the front desk and Dr. Rahmen is a delight. I did at one point think of transferring to another clinic due to the cost comparison. However, Dr Rahmens attitude, compassion and great sense of humor kept me there. The last NP I had who did a second ultrasound on me was also very, very friendly. IVF was recommended for me due to my egg supply being low. Unfortunately, due to cost I will not continue this journey as we can not afford it. However, I strongly recommend going here. Baby dust to all!!

4/17: Incredibly unprofessional and unempathetic experience. Jamie gave us our test results, but had no confidence in her responses and wasnt able to answer any questions--just told us that we could take the ($253) test again in 3 months. We asked Reception to have a Doctor call us to discuss the test, since Jamie wasnt able to explain the results--received no call back for 4 business days. We called and left a voicemail with the office manager with the same request--another 4 business days, and no call back. As the clinics response seems to be to call any people who leave negative reviews liars, feel free to reach out to me directly to validate my claims.**UPDATE 4/25**: Two days after my review posted (emphasis on after), Overlake attempted to call my husband, their patient, 2 times (not 5). Both times were on the same day between 11am and 4pm (not 7pm). Neither time did they leave a message, so my husband didnt know it was them or that he should try to call back. Further, we DID pay for a consultation (separate from the test), so we expected a competent explanation--whether from a nurse or a doctor.

The stuff works at frontdesk has very bad attitude and support. They are not honest to patients. One time, after waiting for doctor for 30 mins i asked the front desk why waited so long. The stuff said doctor was reviewing my documents. However, later on we saw the doctor came in from outside and he told us he was delayed by traffic. I can understand the bad traffic but not the LIE from the frontdesk.(The owner still replied that the front office was honest below. Sounds like I am the one who lied. I wont trust this clinic where the stuff covered each other by lies.)I did a hsg testing at overlake reproductive clinic and was told the result was very bad. There was a small chance of false negative because the testing was not performed well. I was suggested to take the testing(~$800) again. I couldnt trust them anymore because of all the lies and unprofessional. I left and started to look for other help. It made me worried and depressed for 2 months. But after 2 months i got pregnant. I am very grateful for my baby. But i really feel disappointed about the service i received at ORH. I would not recommend it to any one at all.(I believe it could be the hsg testing unblock the tube. But it was not the purpose of the testing. I dont think the clinic could take credit for my luck. The point is the testing result was not even good enough for the doctor to diagnose and I was asked to pay and suffer again. It is not my place to judge the skill level of the clinic. I just cant accept the attitude that they refused to take responsibility of the mistakes and mess they made.)

We went to see Dr Johnson with my husband and he suggested to change my thyroid medication to a brand name which was extremely expensive and then later when I spoke with my Thyroid doctor he said that research doesnt see any difference between brand name and generic for Levothyroxine so he was wrong. Then we had the appointment with the finance counselor ( after making us wait for 40 minutes and my husband escaped from work for this appointment) who did a completely out of place comment about my traumatic clinical experience ( she didnt bother to look at my history before speaking with us). The cost is WAY overpriced than from any other clinic and if you search for their success rates on fertility records they are not good. She even suggested for us to get a Home Equity line to pay them. WAW really!?I also asked them for a specific prenatal vitamin that is covered by my insurance and i had to call them 4 times to send me the prescription and they never did. They also criticized my clinic in NJ (RMANJ) which is one of the best clinics in the country stating that they do outdated tests and that Overlake is way better and ahead of the game. Everytime I called They sent me to the nurses voicemails and they never got back to me. I also missed my clomid cycle because nobody got back to me.Later I requested my records to be sent to my clinic in NJ and I had to call them 4 times with no luck. I finally had to go in person to their clinic to get my records because they wouldnt send it anywhere stating that they have legally 14 days to send it. Even after all this horrible experience I called them back to do a day 3 ultrasound and blood work and they told me that we werent a good fit and that Dr. Johnson rather me to go to another clinic. Waw ! RUN in the opposite direction as fast as possible!

We did two failed IUIs here. Some doctors and nurses had subpar bedside manner. Some were kind, but some were very callous. During the first IUI, he hurt me so bad I was crying, then asked if I was crying due to emotional or physical pain (right before doing the procedure he indicated that our chance of success was less than five percent, even after my having taken injectibles). Our second IUI was nicer, it was a woman nurse, it was very close before Christmas, no pain, and she said something like, Today would be a nice day to conceive.Update: In response to your questions - I posted my review when I did because of multiple friends who had also gone through medical treatment suggesting it. Infertility is isolating, not something people always have a natural support system about. It is a very difficult topic. I wanted others heading down this road to know how it was for us. Secondly, the reason we came back a second time is that we agreed as a couple to try IUI three times. My husband was more of the supporter of the second attempt.Ultimately, one of your doctors in particular needs training in bedside manner. This was the only time in my life I have been simultaneously insulted by a physician while being physically hurt to the point of silent tears, AND paying three thousand dollars for it.

Hello...this may not be a formal review but I wanted to share a recent facebook post of mine which expresses my eternal gratefulness towards ORH. If you are reading this and trying to make that difficult decision regarding possibly getting some help, I hope this helps you. Please continue reading..........This does not happen often when I share my story re: multiple miscarriages (6) we suffered with a stranger. But it did today........ It was a good reminder to encourage people out there if you are having troubles, or know of somebody who is, please get help. There are amazing Drs in this field and for some people it can be an easy fix to achieve your family. Overlake Reproductie Health is where we went and they helped us tremendously. Infertility is a dark tunnel and so hard when you are in it....you feel like you are alone and nobody will understand. Its like your life has stopped and you dont know which way its going anymore.....its horrible : (Knowledge is power I feel, and being able to get answers helped me emotionally so much. Even if it wasnt always the best news, I needed to know what was going to be strong and keep going down my path......The person I came across today has a loved one she is concerned about. She does have 1 child but has now has had 4 miscarriages and is devastated. It is not always a perfect outcome for everyone, but after 6 miscarriages I do have 3 beautiful, healthy, crazy Brown Boys! And I know for a fact some friends and family thought I would not have a family. It really was quite a devastating, long 3 1/2 years until we brought our first child into this world. I make my jokes on here about The Little People and that they make me crazy and so on......and OMG what am I gonna do LOL?!?But without the help of amazing Dr. Kevin Johnson and his nurse Jo Gray I am not sure where we would be exactly? There is nothing to be ashamed of.....it happens to everyday people. Most are always shocked to hear my story. Just because we have 3 kids doesnt mean the road to get even 1 was easy. I know Sean Brown and I are eternally grateful for how they helped us through such a scary time in our lives. So just a friendly reminder to those in need.......help is out there.....you just gotta go get it!!!ORH is very special to my husband and I........we may not see them like we used to but our feelings towards them are forever. They helped make us become a familyKnowledge is Power!

I had to call them multiple times to resolve this issue, and every time I called, they treated me like I was bothering them.
