No one cares that yall are religious. Let your patients know their options. Without the Jesus guilt trip.

The nurses here are great but they tried to force their religion on me when I told them my plans if I were pregnant. They forced me to pray and gave me a bible. They also told my boyfriend and I that we are going to hell. This place is good if you need a pregnancy test but after you get your results, run!

Just be aware that they are religious. They are not pushy. I think other people in the reviews are just offended by religion (I am not religious, but it doesn’t bother me). They do advocate against abortion slightly, but they will not shame you. Also, they provide classes where you (and your partner) could make $10 of mommy money an hour. That money can be used in their store to buy supplies for a baby. At the end of your pregnancy, they will even throw you a baby shower at a local church. They were SO helpful to me for my first child, and I recommend them to everyone needing help.

Been going here for almost 2 years now. This place definitely helped me prepare mentally to have my first child last year. They provided me with a baby shower since I couldn’t have a real one due to COVID. A blessing this place is indeed. ❤️ Mrs. Janice is the best!

Very nice and spiritual people. I have been here twice for free STD testing and both time left feeling amazing. They don’t sham you and will respect your faith preferences. I also took my son mom there during here pregnancy for an initial ultrasound and have not had any bad experiences.

I like the fact the place is there to help others in need of pregnancy test . I believe its a few staff members need to be removed due to their attitudes or bias manner. I just picked up a negative vibe from a few. Im not sure what it is . I do believe in God I know they do force their beliefs on you and they do judge you. God can only judge you and he is a forgiving God. You do feel you can talk to one person and she is sweet but the nurses and doctor and thats not all but its two I dont care to see again. She told me the tale if wise and foolish man and to not have sex and to tell my fiance to live somewhere else and sleep in different rooms. I felt this was out of line 100 percent. Im a grown woman in my 30s you telling that too. Im not one of your projects that need healing from you. I need Jesus in which I know how to communicate with. Dont judge others because is your life perfect, because God can only judge me. Me and my fiance are getting married next year. He pay bills and care for me and my son with love. If wanted to leave me he would already.Your statistics is not for everyone lives.We are made differently and think differently. We as adults know how to correct our problems we dont need others judging and telling you so. Im done going there .

This place is so incredible.... I have never meant that as much as I do for the staff at Pregnancy Test Center in Vestavia.I was frantic, just finding out Im pregnant after being told for years I would never bear any children... Had no insurance, no help, no direction at all. All I knew was to call the health department and likely be treated like a mule of sorts.While on hold with them, I did a little digging online for other options; stumbling across this glorious organization. I called them as soon as I could, explaining some about myself, and asked if I could set up an initial appointment for that day. Done.The woman on the phone was so kind and reassuring; giving me a glisten of hope for the first time since taking several at home tests.I went in and they worked with me to the best of their abilities, offering counseling (with another amazing woman who continued to give me hope), and a ton of other resources like free classes and even the ability to earn items like diapers for your baby, just for attending!They ARE a Christian organization (or everyone I spoke to was Christian, anyways).Im Pagan... A witch, if you will (Im a very morally sound, kind, gentle person who simply likes to help people and make them medicine through herbs and such). They didnt force their beliefs on me, but asked if they could pray with me. Of course! I support all beliefs, and was flattered by it.Just the whole environment here is amazing and I hope Ill be returning again soon, although Ive found a doctor now to take care of my pregnancy.Every single person here (who Ive met, anyways) is incredibly non-judgemental and kind. If you want your baby to be adopted, more power to you! Give them a good home and the staff at Pregnancy Test Center will support you in full.Im keeping my baby, although it is a terrifying decision. But thanks to PTC, I have the strength to get through this.Theyre simply... Amazing.

I wouldn’t recommend this location to no one. I am 9 months pregnant and lost track of my momma bucks between February and now because of the Cov-19 and they was absolutely awful. They suppose to be there to help and assist and they was none of the above. So I’m standing outside after making an appt. 9 months pregnant due any day and they say because I forgot to sign in with one of the classes that I couldn’t get any assistance. I thought that’s what they was there for to assist people in need? How do people donate free things to you and you dictate who gets it and you suppose to help. I even offered just to pay for item since they couldn’t find it in the sus and they still refused. This is the worst experience ever especially to be in my 9th. Month debating on a sign for a class. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going or donating there ever. Because they don’t do right by the stuff that people donate.

Everyone here at the Vestavia location was so super sweet and made me feel so comfortable! i absolutely loved it here! beth was extremely helpful and patient with me too! i highly recommend coming here!

I had a friend that went here and she is scarred for life. They shamed my friend for going and getting tested then tried to push their religious beliefs on to my friend. That is unacceptable, an abuse of power, and a blatant disregard for separation of church and state.

The nurses and doctors were super friendly and so helpful! They went an extra mile in everything they did. May the Lord bless them all for such sweet service. The doctor was so thorough that he explained everything he was doing and interpreted the medical jargon.

It wasnt stated over the phone that it was a conservative womens health clinic. I was guilt tripped for over an hour while my friend wasnt able to be there with me for support. Consistently pushed adoption or going through with the pregnancy. The nurse that brought me back my test results teared up in front of me because she wasnt able to have kids. Not very professional, and unfair to myself.

They are very caring and always there with open arms to help guide you in whatever path you may take. Wonderful staff.

These people do not give accurate information about abortion, fetal development, or pregnancy. Dont let them shame you! If youre looking for abortion services, call West Alabama Womens Center in Tuscaloosa or Planned Parenthood.

I am appalled at how this clinic implies they are a medical facility that does pregnancy testing. They are actually a political/religious organization that has very pushy, self-righteous, very uninformed “counselors” who use emotional manipulation and fear tactics to push their agenda. My friend’s child was told by one of these idiots she should get married to her teen boyfriend without even knowing her history, her mental or emotional health, or coping abilities. She was emotionally bullied while going through one of the scariest times of her life. She was given false information on medication that she was taking that causes birth defects. The “counselor” told her these medications would not cause birth defects, when there is scientific facts that say otherwise. This place should be shut down, and it should be illegal for these people to lie to minors to push a pro-life agenda, with absolutely no concern for the actual life of a child after it’s actually born. They should be truthful about their intentions and not hide behind “clinical pregnancy testing” only to lie, manipulate, and condemn young girls when they are the most vulnerable.

I give them 2 stars because some of the nurses and the young counselor are nice! The receptionist is rude and its not confidential everyone can hear your business when you walk in and say what you are there for she blurts it out!!! Horrible experience!!!

May only be an .88 test from Walmart but they do ultra sounds here also to confirm your pregnant and how far along you are. But no the reason people go here is to get a letter of comfirmation to show they are pregant for stuff they need as some may need medicade , wic and more In order to save baby life

I felt so loved and it was a wonderful enviormemt for me and my baby. The program is a must.

Staff and Counselors are great! I love the learn and earn program.

The counselors can be very judgmental and try to force ideas about religion and what they think God wants for you.

They are friendly and helpful and easy to talk about anything....and will go out they way to help
