I cannot recommend this clinic enough. From the receptionist, nurses, and doctors the entire staff is incredibly kind and supportive. I have worked with several other IVF clinics in the area and Michigan Center for Fertility and Womens Health has been hands down the best. They are caring, compassionate, patient, they listen to you and dont push aggressive treatments on you. I have worked directly with Alexa and Dr Budrys so far. Both are amazing. Highly highly highly recommend this practice!
Thanks to Dr. kowalczyk we have our miracle baby! Ten years of marriage and two fertility clinics later and she, along with all of the wonderful staff, made our dream come true! We did 2 rounds of IUI before becoming pregnant. The entire process was very smooth. I highly recommend!
At the beginning of my journey here, I had a few small complaints, mostly with how long I had to wait to start our process lol. Which, at the end of my journey, I realized were responsible tests to do before deciding proper treatment for me. Of course I didn’t think anything was wrong with me, but I also didn’t *know*. I had four IUIs here. The first one didn’t work (which I knew could be a possibility), the second worked, but I miscarried at 8 weeks. The third worked, but I had a chemical pregnancy before 6weeks.After those two losses, Dr. Budrys started running tests on me again for recurrent loss. Again, I was really impatient, but I really didn’t want anymore losses. Our fourth IUI worked, we were able to announce on Christmas, and my baby GIRL is due two days before my birthday. Everything works the way it is meant to, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this office helping us get our miracle.I felt like the office was a tad off communication, until they closed the Lake Orion office and I started going to Bloomfield. From then on out, I got timely calls back, and every small “complaint” I had before, was remedied with that change. Everyone is super friendly here and compassionate. Quick to call in prescriptions, and Robin who did 3/4 of my iuis is always amazing and sweet! I have referred a couple people to this clinic already.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. All of the nurses, medical assistants and support staff were supportive and great at answering questions. Alexa was caring, professional and always put my mind at ease during a difficult process.
The entire staff from ultra sound techs to PAs to doctor K are all amazing and have had great success getting me and many of my friends pregnant. We especially love Alexa.
I was so impressed with the ultrasound techs (Becca) bedside manner, knowledge, ability to explain things and also to set her patient at ease. Her passion for what she does was obvious from the beginning . . . you could tell this is more than just a job for her.We had a few bumps in the road with bleeds and clots and multiple months without getting pregnant. Every time I went in for an ultrasound, I was happy to see when it was Becca working that day. She took the time to explain exactly what she was looking at while doing the ultrasound and set my mind at ease throughout the process, which I believe is a big part of realizing success in this overall goal that so many of us have, which is making a baby 😊
Unfortunately, my experience hasn’t been good at all. I came to them to try IUI for unexplained infertility. On my very first CD13 ultrasound, I was told to trigger shot that night, but no one actually showed me how or where to trigger shot. I assumed it must be easy, like other self-administered shots with a button on some sort of housing, or else they’d surely have helped me my first time. Nope, full needle, and I had to watch you tube videos at home to figure it out. My 2nd cycle of IUI, they ran the catheter directly into my Fallopian tubes to find it (instead of using an external ultrasound) before releasing the sample, and the pain was excruciating. My 3rd cycle of IUI, I was told the prior 2 cycles had been checking my progesterone later than they should have, which means I’m now left concerned I wasted two full cycles when the 3rd cycle showed my progesterone low for where it should be 5days post procedure. Lastly, the nurse forgot about me during my third cycle of IUI. Literally. I finally had to JUMP off the elevated table after 30 minutes post-IUI had passed, and no one was coming to get me (should only have been 10-15 minutes of elevated rest, and a nurse comes and puts the table down so you can get off it). The office never had my full file, and when I discussed things with one staff member, it never seemed to make it to the others. I’ve never spoken with an actual doctor since my consultation, and almost every nurse has a different opinion when asked the same questions. I’m really disappointed in the lack of trust I feel for this practice.
Although the center employees were very nice, this clinic not only stole money from us, they were very difficult to schedule with, and did not listen to us/ because of this started my wife on an early perimenopause. Luckily we stopped going here before any more damage was done. I hope others have a better experience.
All locations were amazing! They figured out the issue and because of them we were able to add another beautiful baby to our family!! I couldnt thank them enough!!
