After searching for a couple of years, I came across NCCRM and decided that they was the best fit for me. I had my tubal reversal on March of 2023. I found I was pregnant in October of 2023 and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl in July 2024. I am so thankful for Dr Toma, Nurse Kelly & Olivia, and staff. They were truly amazing and this would not have been possible without them. It was such an great experience. I would definitely recommend them to absolutely anyone.
I cannot recommend the front desk staff at this NCCRM highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an unparalleled level of professionalism and warmth. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and immediately put me at ease. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, patiently answering all my questions and ensuring I felt informed and supported throughout the process. Every interaction was marked by their dedication to providing a compassionate and efficient experience. Their exceptional service made a challenging journey much more manageable. I am deeply grateful for their outstanding support and couldnt have asked for a better front desk team. I wish I could write a review on one of the employees in particular. This woman was amazing and is 100% the reason I’ll be returning to NCCRM and recommending them to family and friends.
We had such a great experience with NCCRM. Everyone in the office is wonderful and always happy to help. The nurses on staff always made me feel comfortable and were very informative. I never had to question next steps. They always returned my calls in a timely manner and made sure I had the best care. Dr. Toma is the best! We were so blessed to have such a supportive team at NCCRM! Thank you for all you do!
We worked with NCCRM to navigate infertility and IVF and had a wonderful experience as I am pregnant with our first! With that aside - we were listened to, supported, and felt great 90% of the time, even with the anxiety, nerves, and delays. I was able to ask plenty of questions, they worked well with my pharmacy of choice, and overall it was a good experience and I truly trust the NCCRM team. I know the whole process takes talent on the clinics part and luck that my body will accept it and they were very knowledgeable and helped us navigate that.
I had my tubal ligation since 2009 and finally was able to get tubal reversal in 2023. I noticed my weight changed and my confidence level changed after the surgery. The whole process was great. I had a wonderful experience and the staff was excellent. Recovery time did not take long at all. I followed all the steps and made sure I got plenty of rest and stayed hydrated. If you are a smoker its best that you stop smoking months ahead of time cause it will hinder the recovery process. I once was a smoker and quit 6 months ahead and have not went back. I gave not started trying to conceive just yet. I am a mother of 4 with 3 older sons and a daughter who just started high school. My husband and I have no children and would like to try soon. Im 45 as of now and would like to have at least one more or two. Lol. I will keep you posted once I conceive. Good luck and dont give up on getting that reversal for its worth it.
The team at NCCRM are great! Everyone including the office staff, medical assistants, nurses, and doctors made me feel welcomed and supported through a very difficult time. They were able to answer all of my questions and be available when I needed them. We have been trying to get pregnant for 6 years. My first transfer resulted in a pregnancy but we ended up miscarrying around 7-8 weeks. Easton & Toma reviewed my charts and implemented additional interventions to increase our chances for our 2nd transfer. Im glad to say we are 10 weeks pregnant and so far everything looks great with the baby! Im incredibly thankful for everyone that helped us achieve this miracle. The doctor I worked closely with was Easton. He is all around a wonderful doctor. He was straightforward with the information but also compassionate and hopeful for our success. I highly recommend NCCRM if you are struggling with infertility!
I gotta be honest. I came to a fertility place for an issue but Im not looking to have kids so thats my bad. I definitely wasnt a priority. Had my appointment rescheduled a few times and could barely speak to the doctor just for him to tell me he doesnt do the surgery I needed anyways. I had to call many many times to even get referred somewhere else...They are probably good with fertility but dont go if you arent trying to get pregnant.
I had gotten my tubal reversal done end of July of last year, I had just found out that I am expecting. Dr Toma and stuff was very nice and welcoming. They took good care of me. I am happy with picking them for my procedure.
Dr. Toma, Carla and Spencer are the best. No bullshit, Dr. knows his stuff. This was my 2nd IVF round (the 1st one failed at a different practice). Dr. Toma diagnosed a few things that were never brought up at the previous place, put me on a couple extra meds to improve the outcome, did the hysteroscopy before my transfer. I’m 42, 13 weeks pregnant after my first embryo transfer (with another one in the bank). I would not go to anyone else.
Had a tubal reversal done and the surgery went great. My nurse was Olivia and she was fantastic! Everyone that I came in contact with at the facility was wonderful! They answered any questions I had and was so helpful! Very clean and inviting environment.
Everyone at NCCRM is personable and friendly, the whole staff and providers work well coordinated and their constant support and availability is invaluable. Me and my spouse are very glad to have found this fertility clinic. At this point of our fertility journey we consider the members of the clinic as part of our family.
Words could never express how grateful my husband and I for Dr. Toma and his team. I had a tubal reversal and open myomectomy on January 9, 2023 and we were pregnant in April 2023. Our beautiful daughter was born December 2023. Thank you NCCRM for making it all possible.
NCCRM was able to do my surgery at the peak of Covid when a closer facility fell through and put me off for months. I didnt have any records from my tubal, but Dr. Toma was able to fly blind and have an extremely successful procedure. Everyone on the staff was absolutely amazing. We got pregnant within the first 2 months and just welcomed our baby girl into the world 2 weeks ago.
BUYER BEWARE!Was referred here by a long time friend because she had a wonderful experience with family balancing. They had no fertility issues in the past.I had my first consultation appt today, Toma was over 30min late with no apology. Offered testing without going over the tests Id already gone through at another facility. We spoke about my BMI and how I need to go from 294 to 230lbs and he immediately offered medications, ozempic, phentermines, etc without even the idea of discussion of life style changes etc. Felt like I was in the South Park movie.Toma offered surgery which well be looking into with a different place due to this offices need for money and lack of empathy.250$ charge for less than 20min of a consult. I was scheduled for 215p-345p. He rushed me off the call twice and all the office personnel could do as far as a financial reimbursement was ask if all my questions were answered. No. They were not. They were going to test me more but nothing was brought up about my husband whos swimmers are low and slow (from a test elsewhere 5yrs ago).Very disappointed. Very rushed. Not customer friendly or family oriented. Will NOT be following up with them at all. BUYER BEWARE
NCCRM is the best thing that ever happened to me. Dr. Liwan and Spencer were very helpful and supportive. We have a beautiful 3 month old baby girl. Thank you NCCRM for everything.
Nccrm is a wonderful establishment that is kind and empathetic in their process with a lovely staff. My husband and I were trying for almost a year when we went to nccrm. Many other practices were dismissive of my pain and struggles but Nccrm was willing to listen. They were able to provide me with a diagnosis after some testing and placed me on medication to assist my hormones and within two weeks I was naturally pregnant without having to use any of their additional services though my options were explained to me if I did need them. They maintained my care routinely checking up on my pregnancy to ensure our health and safety till confident enough for me to be transfered to a separate practice closer to home. Nccrm had me feel comfortable during the process and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring reproductive health or fertility assessments to start your journey!
I went in 6/27/2024 for a tubal reversal, I was very nervous & scared but the nurses & dr.toma assured me that they would take great care of. The facility was very clean & the entire staff was nice, I am 3 days post op I’m ready to heal so me & my husband can start our pregnancy journey
I have had 2 surgeries and multiple appointments with Dr. Toma. I am still in the process of post op procedures, but I am pleased with Dr. Toma, the staff and their care. Thankful for doctors who specialize in helping women with rare conditions to be able to have children.
Went in for my tubal reversal surgery on 3/4/24 went in for my ob appointment on 4/2 & got a ultrasound I was already pregnant Im currently 11weeks 5days 😍 Dr Toma is great. I got pregnant within a week of surgery
Had tube reversal surgery today. The doctors was wonderful. Dr. Rice and Dr. Toma really made sure to explain everything and are very nice. The nurse Ms Olivia made me feel right at home she talked me through everything and they all answered all my questions and made sure I understood all they were doing. The anateiguoligest Nate was really cool and very helpful. Overall they are a great team.I also want to say thank you to Ms Stephanie and others who helped me along with paperwork and helping me prepare for this day.
I had a tubal reversal in 02/2022 after having my tubes tied for 7 years. Dr. Toma and the staff made our experience as reassuring as possible. My husband and i are now expecting our son exactly one year later due 02/23. We found out we were expecting 3 months after my surgery. The Dr.’s and nurses, staff were great so friendly and caring we traveled from maryland and they were so welcoming and nice. Surgeon was very good also surgery went very well and scar is hardly noticeable. Would definitely recommend. We also used pre-seed fertility lubricant and one a day pre pregnancy vitamins for men and women to assist with conceiving which helped speed up the process very quickly, highly recommended. Overall wonderful experience. grateful we are able to experience a new joy!
This clinic will not get enough of my praises! They genuinely care about their clientele and are super accommodating to the best of their abilities. I think it’s often overlooked how delicate of a specialty this is and how emotions can run high during the process. Wait times will often exceed the expectation but it’s worth it to keep in mind there are patients who are being consoled for news they never expected to receive, seeking clarification on issues they never imagined they would encounter and from a patient perspective- I find comfort in knowing that my concerned and questions are addressed without feeling rushed. The front desk girls Molly and Amy are just a few of the gems that help run this office and they are positively pivotal to keeping the practice running as smoothly as it does.
We had the best experience with Easton Rice!!!! I can’t say enough great things about him and this clinic-they were so positive from the beginning and helped us conceive our little miracle baby!!!
Everyone was wonderful while getting the reversal. But if you’re not from North Carolina they won’t do anything to help you afterwards to help get pregnant. They’ll do a tele health visit afterwards and charge almost $200 and tell you see someone locally.
I had an amazing experience with NCCRM. Friendly staff and doctors, wonderful atmosphere, and all of my questions were answered. We also had a wonderful time in the area and the staff was great with their recommendations.
Tubal reversal 5/8 , everyone was very nice I had a great experience through the whole process the nurses were very helpful and kind, they made me feel very comfortable, I have no complaints I recommend NCCRM Dr Toma is the best
I had my tubal reversal on 8/17/2021 and the staff was amazing . If you get to meet Mrs.Kelly make sure you tell her she is the best assuring you. I loved my Experience there, my surgery went great and now me and my husband are on the TTC journey . Thanks so much and Toma and the whole staff. The even called to check on me once I made it home . I drive 3 hours and a half to go here and it was worth it
Praying that everyone gets the successful life of love and joy they are praying for. Someone let the doctor he shouldt rush people out after their surgey. Slow down Doctor, give them a few minutes to gather their senses.
Everyone was so sweet and welcoming from the phone conversations emails to us going for the surgery and after… everyone was helpful and very informative about everything that was going to be done we are so thankful for them and can’t wait to have our bundle of joy thank you NCCRM staff
I had a consult with them last year and I would not recommend them after the short experience I had with them. I can’t say anything about their standards of care because I didn’t get that far with them. I’m sure they’re good to their patients. This was just about my initial experience. They charge $250 for a consultation which is much more than most IVF places. There was a lot of disorganization with the call but when I finally did get a consultation I was disappointed. The doctor told me I wouldn’t be a good candidate for their clinic because my AMH of 1.3 was too low so to retest and then they’ll decide. It seems to me they don’t want to take patients who have lower AMH so they can maintain their IVF success rate. Most IVF clinics are accepting of patients that have low ovarian reserve because that’s one of the reasons people do IVF/IUI. Anyways, I did retest like they recommended and my AMH had increased (which was exciting) so I sent them a message through their portal and I never heard back. I called them and left a message but didn’t hear back. They make it seem like they’ll help anyone on their website, I didn’t see anything about a cutoff for AMH. I felt like they just charged a lot of money for consultation and then never followed up. Just for reference, I graduated medical school and my husband is in residency, we were both on the call and are aware of how IVF works and what’s needed so to say we were shocked when they said my AMH is too low for them is understatement. I ended up going to another clinic and I’m happy to say my low AMH didn’t scare them off and they agreed that some clinics do want to maintain their success rates so they’re more hesitant to take on patients. Although I understand , I would have appreciated a follow up or a call back from NCCRM. My husband did call them to ask them for a partial refund because we honestly felt that it wasn’t fair for the service we didn’t receive. One of the people we spoke with was understanding and said they’ll have the manager call us back to see about a refund but obviously we never heard back. As a patient please do your research and shop around and make sure the clinic sees you as a person and not just a successful number that’ll boost their ratings.
Everyone was very friendly! Spencer was the best nurse Ive ever had! They all make you feel welcomed and comfortable! I spoke with the surgeon briefly because the surgery before mine took a bit longer than expected they went over everything very clearly! They wanted at least 5cm of healthy tubes left on both sides and I have 8cm on both! Starting in a few weeks we will be trying to become pregnant! Easton is also amazing made me feel very comfortable and explained everything very well during pre-op the day before and during the ultrasound let me know my uterus is more towards the left! He is very funny and caring! I love these guys10/11 I believe its safe for me to say Im PREGNANT! after just 3 cycles of trying we got our bfp! Took 15 test the last couple of days lolOn 10/12 I had blood work to confirm pregnancy! Thanks to nccrm for giving me another chance at having more children!11/10/21 had first ultrasound baby is measuring a week ahead!
My name is Ashley and I had my tubes reversed in April 2024. I took a pregnancy test yesterday 6/12/24 and it was positive!
We had our tubal reversal in June 2022. The process went smooth (filshie clip removal, had them for 7 years) and recovery went better than expected. The staff was absolutely great from start to finish and Dr. Toma was an absolute delight.Exactly 6 months later we were expecting! We welcome our baby boy in early August 2023!!!Edit/update: so blessed our son is here & healthy thanks to NCCRM!
I had my tubal reversal with DR Mulvaney, I love his personality , made me feel comfortable and hopeful . I got y reversal done on March 20,2017. Everyone was great to me , Ill keep posted soon -10-2-2024 My baby is 5 years old now. Everything worked out .
I had a tubal reversal surgery done In March of 2023. I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Rice & Dr. Toma. As far as I know my surgery went very smoothly. Healing process was a little more uncomfortable than my prior two c sections. It is currently the end of July 2023 and my husband and I have still yet to conceive. Dr. Tomas office did call me one time about 1-2 weeks post op and ask were we pregnant yet. Which we were not, since then I haven’t had any other follow up calls. I do wish we could go back in just for a check up maybe do some test make sure everything is still open tubes & such. That would be helpful maybe some tips on fertility would have been helpful as well. They pretty much just done my surgery and left the rest up to us. I’ve always had irregular period so ovulation for me is really hard to determine.
I was extremely nervous about my procedure.Dr. Rice and Dr. Tomi reassured me and were able to answer my questions. My reversal took place on August 16, 23. I’m hoping for baby news very soon. I should also add, nurse Olivia was the best!! If you are unsure, make the call you won’t regret it.
Just went on 4/27/23 for tubal reversal. Every one was so nice and accommodating. Had a great experience and would recommend NCCRM for anyone wanting tubes reversed. Olivia my nurse was very nice and talked me through everything and helped if I needed anything. ❤️❤️so thankful and will update on any pregnancy announcements in the future.Update 11/15/23- not pregnant and went and had a test done I only have one tube open praying I will still get pregnant
Our experience at NCCRM, particularly with Dr. Toma, was not just disappointing, but infuriating and deeply hurtful. After being misguided at a previous clinic, we turned to NCCRM with hope, only to be met with a series of devastating letdowns.Despite being a healthy 27-year-old, the egg retrieval process, which we entered with high expectations based on Dr. Tomas assurances, yielded shockingly poor results. The stark contrast between his optimistic predictions and the reality we faced was nothing short of a betrayal of our trust. The real blow came with the failed embryo transfer, resulting in a chemical pregnancy. The lack of empathy and timely communication from Dr. Toma in the aftermath was appalling. His cold and detached demeanor during our follow-up conversation was like a slap in the face. The revelation of my low egg reserve, a critical detail that was conveniently omitted until it was too late, added to our anguish. We were left heartbroken, with a significant loan, one viable embryo, and a shattered dream. Dr. Tomas lack of empathy was appalling. A glance at his reviews on FertilityIQ echoes similar sentiments about his bedside manner. We’ve since moved to Carolina Conceptions, where the difference in care is stark. Our new clinic provided a clear strategy and genuine concern, resulting in a much more successful egg retrieval. My advice is unequivocal: avoid NCCRM. Dr. Toma, as the practice owner and lead on major procedures, is unavoidable there. His apparent indifference towards patient care and outcomes is unacceptable. Don’t make the same mistake we did; choose a clinic where your dreams and emotions are valued..
Exelent service! Doctor Rice worked with us since the beginning and guided us. We are expecting a baby after 2 months of treatment. Stephanie helped translating for my wife and they were all very helpful! 100% recomended
Had a consultation scheduled for last Saturday at 1pm. Received an email stating someone would call me at my scheduled appointment time. Even received a dozen of text reminders hours leading up to the appointment. At 1pm nothing . Not one call, no text , not even a email from this place. Wow. Definitely not starting off to a good start. And I don’t usually do reviews but I’m a little disappointed.
We have been to several fertility clinics in the Triangle area and NCCRM is the best. Yes, Dr. Toma comes off a bit blunt but he knows what he is doing and his staff makes the clinic amazing. The front desk staff is always nice and friendly. Carla and Folita, the nurses, are the best part. We have been to other clinics where there are so many nurses and doctors monitoring your cycles for IVF that no one really knew what was going on. Not at NCCRM. Carla and Folita are on top of everything and never have I felt like I’m just a number the way I have felt at other places. If I call and leave Carla a voicemail, she always calls back later that afternoon or evening even after 5 at times. On top of the patient experience, their prices are better than any other clinic around! 100% recommend NCCRM for IVFEdited 9/12/24: I forgot to mention that we had a successful transfer with NCCRM and our baby girl was born 8/23/22.
After a year of research, we felt that NCCRM was our best option and sure enough we made the right decision. On June 1, 2022, we traveled from VA to NC to have my TR. The staff was absolutely amazing and made me feel very comfortable. My nurse was Kelly and boy let me tell you she’s an AMERICAN SWEETHEART!!!! I was so nervous and started crying and she just gave me a big hug. My anesthesiologist and I were both from WV, and bless his heart to calm my nerves he played Country Roads right before putting me to sleep and Kelly just held my hand. Just that alone was worth our decision. My surgeon was amazing! He said everything looked beautiful and I should have no problems getting pregnant. I was left with 7cm and 6cm. I had 6 cycles within four months( June-September) one of those cycles was pretty bad but it was more of my body flushing itself out after not having a healthy cycle for 6 years after my TL. And we are so excited to announce that we found out Oct 7 that we are expecting our little girl this June. Thank you so much NCCRM and Dr.Toma!!!
Amazing office and staff! Every question was answered and even after 4wks post op they still answer my questions when i call/email. Took me 7 months after my tubal reversal, but I’m now 23weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy!
Me and my wife are very appreciative of nccrms nurses and doctors not even 1 month me a my love are expecting a little hurt to join our family we cant praise you guys enough I definitely recommend this facility at a 1000% rating hope all is well and will definitely be keeping you guys updated
The staff was really nice. Nurse Oliva made sure that I knew everything that happened after my surgery and kept me comfortable before my surgery. Now we are just waiting and hoping to get pregnant soon
Dr. Toma and his staff are AMAZING!!! I had a miscarriage in Jan. and I was referred to NCCRM after finding I had a septated uterus. I spent a lot of time here for visits, pre-op, surgery to remove the septation, and post-surgery visits from Feb.-April. Dr. Toma goes above and beyond in his practice and for his patients and so does his staff! We are also so happy to announce we are now pregnant with TWINS! Thank you Dr. Toma! My husband and I are so thankful for NCCRM, Dr. Toma and staff!
We went to NCCRM after years of trying to get pregnant with no luck with the hopes of having a baby through IVF. I thoroughly enjoyed working with NCCRM. They were polite and timely and were always ready to answer any questions I had. The staff in the office and the doctors are amazing to work with. Highly recommend.
If I could give the no starts I would.. its taken me a while to give them a review simply because Ive been on a very exhausting roller coaster after my reversal in 2022. I was 43 when I had my reversal I was also an out of state client, I reached out to them because they were the place we could afford at the time for the reversal. when I called to inquire they told me if I didnt book the appointment the same day I would lose the special pricing we book for Oct. 17, 2022 when I arrived for my appointment the day before the surgery I was called to get an Ultrasound done, they informed me that I had some fibroids but that it would interfere with me becoming pregnant since I already had children, after the exam I went to speak to another nurse who for some reason because I have a Spanish last name thought that I couldnt speak English and even after telling her I speak better English she still kept talking to me in Spanish, she said my AMH was on the low side but I would still be able to get pregnant, she explained the procedure and thats was it she didnt explain about the recovery what I should do or not do. the next day was surgery we arrived and then I was taken to the back I meet Dr Toma for less then a minute for him to introduce himself and tell me their was no refunds if the surgery didnt work or if they couldnt reattach the tubes, after surgery I was not doing well, I was throwing up and not feeling well, they didnt care that I wasnt feeling well they rushed me out of there lucky I was with my family so they took care of me, after that day I never spoke to anyone in the office no one ever called me to follow up on how the surgery went. I waited 6 months to get and HSG since I had. no luck with getting pregnant, after the HSG I was told that both my tubes were still blocked. when I called a reached out to them I was told they could do nothing for me and they hung up. if I would have read other reviews at the BBB I would of never given them 5k and would of invested better in IVF and probably be holding my baby by now. its disgusting that your establishment is more interested in making money then actually helping women be able to conceive naturally again
My experience in my first appointment at NCCRM was a high pressure sales environment that disregarded my medical concerns. In my very first meeting with the doctor to get initial information about whats involved with egg freezing and IVF, the doctor provided information about the process and procedures, and also kept repeating you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks. I raised concerns that I have a history of blood clots and have been advised by other doctors that I should never take hormonal birth control, so should really coordinate with my other doctors before starting a procedure that requires taking hormones across different stages of the process. However, she kept repeating that you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks. I continued bringing up that I should really check in with my hematologist before starting any birth control pills, finding it strange that the doctor was blowing right past this, and the NCCRM doctor continued repeating you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks. She eventually noted that I could just start taking old prescription medication that I had leftover from right after the last blood clot if I wanted to since you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks. I still hadnt given any indication that I was ready to start the process that day, but she continued repeating these instructions to me over and over, as though I already agreed to this plan that clearly violates directives from other doctors without being allowed to talk with them first. After getting initial info from the doctor about the schedule and sequence, with lots of repetition on you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks, then the finance person comes in. She also continues to repeat over and over the same directive that you start on your birth control pills today and then have your class and ultrasound in two weeks. I additionally was informed by the finance person that I would not be allowed to talk to the doctor again until after I took birth control pills for two weeks and came back for my ultrasound and class. When I asked when each component of the $10000 would be due to the practice and the pharmacy, the finance person acted confused about why I would not just pay the $5000 to the practice today.I then went out to the front desk. The front desk staff, who were kind and reasonable, indicated that they dont even have any openings for this class in the next two weeks anyway and that the $5k is not paid until after the ultrasound. With further discussion with the front desk I scheduled to take the class without taking the birth control pills, and planned to get back to them about starting hormones after I coordinated with my other medical providers. When I went to take the class, the nurse instructor was kind and informative, and she actually went over the testing and birth control pill portion of the program, as though everybody is not required to take birth control pills for two weeks before being allowed to attend this class. The nurse was very nice, although when asked how many rounds of egg collection/IVF people usually have to go through she said that usually it just takes one round of egg collection to have a healthy baby. This is really not consistent with the data I have seen anywhere, where most information indicates that 3-6 rounds are often needed depending on age and other factors. My primary care doctor who referred me to NCCRM was horrified by the sales environment that encouraged proceeding with contraindicated medical procedures without being allowed to talk with my other doctors first. I would not trust NCCRM with my safety and well-being.
Dr Toma is a great dr. And his employees are extremely nice and polite. Appointments are very fast and easy to schedule and he also listens to his patients and make sure he helps them in any way to accomplish their dreams. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking forward to be treated there.
I recommend anyone who wants to get a tubal reversal go to this place. I was excited but more nervous. But as soon as I was brought to the back for my ultrasound, going over all my paperwork, then to waiting for my surgery and to my surgery. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. I got my tubal reversal today. And all of my nervousness went away when I was in the hands of the staff. Kelly was absolutely amazing. She is truly one of a kind..I would give this place 10/10 easily.
Definitely recommend this center if your considering tubal ligation reversal! All the staff was super sweet and made you feel so comfortable and I flew in from another state and they called and followed up with me regularly. My surgery went well, definitely recommend the shot the offer to help with recovery, my pain was minimal and recovery went so easy!Update: I recommend having a HSG procedure done after surgery, this helps to confirm your tubes are open and a good pathway for a better pregnancy outcome. I had mine done in March 2023 and found out we were pregnant in April. January 2024 our little bundle of joy is here! So grateful for this process!
Dr Toma and the entire staff was absolutely amazing and very patient with me from the moment I walked into the office! From the front desk all the way until after my surgery was done all the way through post op and the next day! Even after I went home they still called to check on me! They truly earned this five star rating! Update*****I got pregnant in October of 2021 so this surgery definitely worked after having my tubes tied for 16 years and my surgery was 04/2021!!!
I only interacted with Dr. Toma once, but he was very professional and gave me the facts in a straightforward manner, which was much appreciated. Ms. Folita Sherman is amazing! Due to what she does, she is very busy, but still takes the time to email you or call you back quickly. She is kind, compassionate and understanding.
The team that has been looking after my fertility journey are fantastic. From Miss Brenda on the front desk always returns my calls if they are busy and such a pleasure to talk to. Dr Spencer who is so kind when doing my egg retrieval definitely gives you that sense of calm and very informative. Carla who I pester sometimes and actually ran out of my menopur she so kindly got me some on a SUNDAY! Dr Toma, great doctor one of the best. If you are wanting to get pregnant hes the doctor for you. Very to the point but doesnt sugar coat things. I appreciate his honesty and his protocols and will get you the right fertility plan. Dr Rice another great doctor very informative and supportive. I unfortunately went through some things and he was very thorough and gave us reassurance which we were so grateful for. Even The phlebotomist (unsure of his name) but when you get blood taken every other day its a relief to see him, majority of the time I dont even feel the needle and when I do hardly at all. If you are looking to start this journey I highly recommend NCCRM its a great team ! And just want to say thankyou to them all.
Update: my husband and I have been coming here for about 4-5 months now… at first start they were so helpful and responsive and had very high hopes for us and told us that we should be able to get pregnant within 6 months. Starting our first round of iui this month and they are good about reaching out to me but not my husband. He’s had several questions and has not gotten any answers. He has had test done but no call with results from the test and has to get me to call and release his results to his portal?? I call and email and ask them to call him about his questions and he gets no response. Staff has always been nice but they are so hard to get in contact with and I feel as this is a very time crunch thing. That should not be the way they ought to be! Good clinic overall but staff not very communicative. These guys are so great! They really LISTEN to my needs and my husbands needs and that’s so hard to find these days at a doctor. I highly reccomend them!
I would like to personally thank ALL of the staff here at NCCRM. All the time I talked about doing this surgery(getting my tubes untied). From the very first time I contacted this clinic everyone was so nice that I spoke to. They even allowed me to do a payment plan to help me. The closer I got to my surgery date the more discouraged I started to get. Upon arriving for my surgery set for November 29, 2022. On our way their my car and everything broke down, but God made a way for us to still be able to make it to North Carolina. With so many emotions I could barely sleep the night before(it was like children on the night before Xmas) But to make a long story short. I TRULY want to thank this clinc from the very bottom of my heart for helping me get through this. I took a pregnancy test on Dec 22. And it came back positive.( but the line was very faint) I was over joined that I couldnt believe it had really happened so fast. So I took another one Dec 28 and it actually read pregnant!! I am overly excited as this is what my husband and I have always wanted. Im so happy that they were able to make our dream come true. Thanks to much NCCRM.!!
I had my procedure here on 6/2/22 with Dr.Toma with Kelly being my nurse and there are absolutely no words to describe what a great nurse she is! She made me feel so safe while I waited to be taken to the OR and she made sure to check on me up until I was put cold! The anesthesiologist was just as pleasant he and I had a conversation about where I’m from which coincidentally was not that far from his home town… I spoke to Dr. Toma briefly yet the interaction was pleasant which was not what I expected based on some of the reviews but it was awesome! I left with 8cm on each side and was told my husband and I could start trying as soon as I felt up to it.. Well I’m honored to say that I took a pregnancy test this Wednesday and Thursday and they both came up positive and so far things are looking great so far thanks to the office for allowing me to expand my family and give my husband the most precious gift! If you’re looking for a great surgeon with a family away from home look no more
I was misdiagnosed with PCOS by a PA at this clinic. We also did a sperm analysis in which I had to track down a nurse to get the results for them to say “yeah, there were none.” Super scientific 🙄. They then said IVF was our only option. We got a second opinion from Duke and Wake Med. Turns out, nothing is wrong with me and one of the OBGYNs at wake med expressed her frustration with this clinic and their lack of professionalism/money grab tactics. Duke put my husband on hCG and bam, I got pregnant. I have had 1 additional pregnancy since my first and we got pregnant first try. I firmly believe that each woman and family that walks into this clinic is seen as a dollar sign. Do not spend your hard earned money here. Go somewhere that is professional and follows the most up to date scientific guidance.
Dr. Toma is the best of the best. After struggling with infertility and having multiple failed IUI and IVF procedures, I was able to get pregnant on the first IVF attempt with NCCRM and have a perfectly healthy baby. Dr. Toma was laser focused on my specific issues and helped devise a successful plan based on my specific needs. I will be forever grateful to NCCRM and Dr. Toma for bringing my biggest dream to life.
I love Dr Toma and ALL the Staff. They were very caring and hard working to help us get our 2 little Miracle Babies. We are blessed with A big girl who will be 5 in June and the baby turned 3 in November. We couldnt have had the success we did without NCCRM. Thank you all so much
I absolutely love this practice, infertility has been a very long journey for me about 20 years. Selecting Dr. Tomas office was the best decision i could have ever made. Ive been to several practices in North Carolina, and although they were nice, I did not get the same feeling from their office. Carla the nurse for the practice is the best, she is extremely patient and she dealt with my anxiousness with such ease. SHE IS THE BEST...GREAT AT HER JOB...I highly reccomend this office if you are trying to conceive, i am now over 40 and 5 months pregnant with a baby girl...I am so happy and cannot wait to deliver my baby girl..
Very terrible front desk attitude and service. First time, they missed document my appointment information and made me as a no show without retaining my blood test result. Then another time, my call got cut off which I was calling to check if my blood test result is ready. I was told that her computer is locked and I just need to wait. When I call back, I was told it was transferred to someone who is not at work that day. Then the phone got hang off. Excuse me? The only thing you need to do is to check my record in the system and make me an appointment, which is no more than a routine job. Can’t the front desk staff be a little bit more professional and patient?
Dr. Easton Rice Was amazing! I came in because I was concerned on why I wasn’t conceiving and he was able to determine what the problem was and prescribed me medication. I got pregnant 10 days later naturally! This is the place to go and he was amazing to work with. I recommend NCCRM anyone looking to conceive. The entire staff was very pleasant.
I have my tubal reversal on April 2022 with Dr.Liwan and Dr.Rice and Llisel Garcia They were attentive throughout the entire surgery process. After my tubal reversal I have ectopic pregnancy on May 2022 on 12/8/2022 I have Hysterosalpingogram my tube are Open. On June 2023 we are waiting our rainbow baby arriving on February 2024 thank you to NCCRM. I never thought I could have another baby. thank you
This office staff, nurses, especially Mr.Easton Rice and especially Dr.Toma are the best of the best. They gave us so much hope about us having our baby that it was very reassuring. I had anxiety going to appts due to getting lots of bad news and they never made me feel bad about it. Soon we had a plan of action and my positivity was at it fullest again. Mr.Easton was right we had a baby girl. She is two months old and is thriving more and more everyday.
I love this place the staff is amazing. I went for a tubal reversal march 23, 2021 and I had a great experience. My nurse Kelly was awesome and soooooo sweet. She kept me posted and constantly checked up on me before and after surgery. The whole staff was awesome and super friendly which I loved. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it.UPDATE: September 26, 2021 I’m 2 months pregnant as of today. I’m so excited can’t wait to start this new journey. Thank you Dr. Toma and staff.
Me and my husband reviewed and searched for a long time on different doctors and different places to do a tube reversal and this place was the best prices that we could find and after speaking to the staff several times, we decided that this is where we was going to do it now to pray first so in 2016 We drive for state over to North Carolina and start our journey the staff and the doctor was truly blessings in my families life at this time I already had two children that was almost grown. My husband did not have any children that was biological he took my children raised them as his own children and I knew he deserved to be a father, so in 2018 I found out I was pregnant two months into the pregnancy. I lost child we skip to 2022 numerous years of trying again. I had thought my tubes had closed back up due to scar tissue and through the damage I had from the procedures I’ve had done over the years in multiple cervical cancer procedures. I just really didn’t think I’d be able to have any more children or to be able to make my husband and father have a seven children but long and behold October 26, 2022 I found out I was four weeks pregnant. Skip ahead my daughter was born May 30 of 2023 and without this doctor and the staff it would not have been possible. My daughter is now almost 2 months old and a true blessing to me my husband for people who are trying so it can take months so it can take years and I am 39 years old and I also found out when I went for my six week check up I am pregnant again it will happen for you in gods time and not on our time I just want people to know don’t give up hope in this is a good place to start your journey to become parents or donors or to pursue IVF because I know the dreams of wanting a child and never shows it like it was gonna happen, but it did
The staff at NCCRM were amazing! They were attentive and compassionate! Nurse Kelly was super sweet! Dr. Toma was great! He was very friendly and attentive to me. He answered all of my questions, he stopped by before and after surgery to ensure I was comfortable. I’m thankful for everyone who assisted me through this process. Let me not forget Josie!!!! She was amazing! She was very patient with me, she coordinated everything and she did so in a very swift manner. She was amazing!
NCCRM were amazing!! I had my tubal reversal surgery on June 21, 2021 the staff was attentive and walked me through every step of the process and recovery. Im happy to announce we are currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our miracle baby!! Thank you for making our dreams come true.💓
We went March 16 2020 for a tubal reversal after having been tied for 10 years. Dr. Toma and his staff we so helpful and patient. Kelly was my nurse and I absolutely love her. She made the experience so comfortable. She was so sweet and such a cheerful person she really put us at ease, especially my husband as he was worried sick about me. She kept him and my other 2 children well informed the whole time. We are so excited to report 4 months later we are pregnant with our sweet bundle of joy. We cant wait to meet her or him March 2021. Thank you Dr. Toma, Kelly and all the staff. We are so thankful for helping us add to our family.
We went to have a tubal reversal done. The doctors and staff were amazing. They took the time to explain exactly what was going to be done and when. Everyone made us feel welcome and put us at ease before and after the procedure. Great experience and definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a reversal or any other procedure done. You can tell they care about their patients and what they do. Just an amazing experience!!!
I understood going in that pregnancy was never guaranteed. However, when my first egg retrieval yielded 1 mosaic and two abnormal, more should have been done before my second retrieval which yielded zero blasts. Went to another clinic who retested me and my AMH plummeted. So the protocol should have been changed. Also, my husband had a vasectomy and when we asked if when they did the aspiration if they would freeze any of his sperm, we were told no that wouldn’t be an option and wouldn’t work. So we had to pay twice, again with the second yielding zero blasts. New clinic as well as new urologist said his sperm absolutely could have and should have been frozen to avoid multiple aspirations. Even Dr K who did the aspirations said it was weird he was having to do two. And the day of my transfer for the mosaic was absolutely horrible. I was told to get there at 930, even tho we were originally told they happen in afternoon. I wasn’t seen until 1130. I had to pee and was told to pre at 945 when they were running late. Refilled my bladder and was told to drink enough to do that and had to hold it until getting called back at 11:30 then I sat in room for 20 more minutes until they came in. And they tell you to wait another 10 minutes before relieving yourself. They played it off at first like “oh nurses and teachers can hold it a long time” I was a cop, I’ve had to hold it for hours as well. But never a completely full bladder. The nurse even commented after that my bladder was extremely full. I held it for two hours.I’m not upset we didn’t conceive. I am upset that our chances at a successful pregnancy were demolished by lack of any intervention besides the protocol they give everyone. The only time I talked to the dr he told me to do the whole 30 diet and do the ovary rejuvenation which there is no science to back up and my new clinic said I made a good choice by not wasting my money on it. Even after an unsuccessful retrieval I never received any follow up from anyone there minus the person in the lab who told me we weren’t successful. Even before we found out we weren’t successful I started telling people to stay away from this place. You’re made to feel like cattle. Just in an out. I was told bed side manner was not a strong positive of this place and I didn’t mind since I was told this is the place to go if you want to get pregnant. Yet other people I know who have gone to Carolina conceptions, unc, and shady grove all had success their first round. I should have gone somewhere else where at least I know if it didn’t work it wasn’t because the doctors didn’t do everything they could.
I had my surgery 11/5/2020...Kelly was my nurse and she was so awesome! She explained everything thoroughly and was warm and caring, she caressed my hand for reassurance that I was gonna be fine, as she preped me for surgery...The whole team was phenomenal! I would highly recommend Dr. Toma and NCCRM staff because of their professional and caring nature, Kelly even helped me get dressed after my procedure, I will definitely be in touch and was informed I can start to conceive within a week...how awesome is that! Thank you so much for making our dream come true ❤️
Dr. Toma & his staff were amazing. He was very upfront & honest with us from day one. Im 47 and he told me upfront I could try whatever we wanted but if we wanted the best chance of a healthy baby we needed to do IVF via donor egg. That is what we went with. I failed my first transfer. Dr. Toma ran tests, added meds and we transferred again a couple months later. Here we are expecting our son in 7 weeks! I highly recommend Dr. Toma and nurse Karla. Felicia was hard to communicate with or get a response from but Karla was the absolute best! The front office staff was super nice & accomodating as well!
We have gone here for initial fertility counseling and decided we were not receiving communication from either the providers or the admin staff. I could never speak to anyone on the phone and had to go in person to pay for a bill.Upon leaving the clinic for another, we had to use NCCRM for monitoring appointments. More of the same - poor communication and this time, rudeness towards my wife. Charged $660 for services ahead of time but no explanation to why some results were what they were, no sympathy or empathy about anything when clearly the patient is emotional. This is clearly an emotional and stressful time for women and their spouse/partners. A little compassion or explanation (or even a “sorry”) isn’t too much to ask. It felt like “you aren’t our patient so we don’t care. We will do our services and send you away”.I do not recommend the clinic at all. Would give ZERO stars if I could.
I started my IVF journey 2 years ago. I am a complex case. Severe endometriosis, auto immune disorders and 1 ovary left. No tubes attached due to the damage from the endometriosis to try naturally. This office gave me some hope that i could become a mom. Round 1 of IVF was started after several surgeries to help ensure a better success rate for me. I ended up with 3 completely viable PGS tested embryos. I completed my first FET and unfortunately it was unsuccessful. It was devastating to say the least. Dr Toma came up with another idea to try again. I had an ERA done since I am not your typical case. We found out I need to transfer a day later than most. So we went on to the next FET and it was different that time. I have some auto immune disorders which made this FET fail as well. I was crushed and almost ready to give up. Dr Toma explained to me he wanted me to do another round of IVF as he still had hope for me and thought if we transfer 2 embryos then my body cannot fight them both off. So we completed round 2 of IVF recently. I became very discouraged when my egg retrieval was not as high as I had hoped. The nurse was amazing and just kept reassuring me to not give up and these could be the best eggs I have ever had. This was the case this time. I had 5 eggs. 4 mature, all 4 grew very fast and into very high grade embryos. This was not like my first round. The entire staff makes me feel like I can and will achieve motherhood. They dont give up on you at this practice. I know many others will only take you on if your not complex to ensure the numbers they advertise can look really good. But if your looking for hope and encouragement and alot of support then I say go see Dr Toma. Hoping to update this review after my 3rd transfer with the gift of motherhood.
Great service procedure went well. Its been 10 months since my surgery I have lost a tube due to an ectopic pregnancy. And still have not had any luck getting pregnant. Feel like I made a poor investment.
I truly didnt know how poorly I had been treated until transferring over to Duke. I was told anecdotally during my first appt after bloodwork that amh was low and i needed to take supplements (dr actually didnt tell me during our initial discussion in the treatment room then pulled me back for 2 min to tell me in the hallway). Had me do my injections in a totally different location and mix meds when my new clinic says no way and research doesnt support this. Communication was the worst, have to beg for a phone call back, Duke responds through their online patient portal within 2 hrs if you have any questions. My ivf cycle was started too late in my cycle (already had a single dominant egg growing), no antral follicle count was performed so they didnt understand I had only 4 active follicles and immediately jacked my meds up on day 4 to try to compensate for a poor reaponse as a result. Zero bedside manner, when they canceled my cycle no empathy or explanation or support and talk of next steps. Dont do it... such a waste of thousands of dollars when their lack of care caused my cancelled cycle. Also, not LGBT friendly, the financial counselor told us we might have to go through psychological counseling prior to egg retrieval because we were gay... what?? Class action?
I had a tubal ligation with filshie clips in 2014. Dr. Toma did my tubal reversal on 4/30/20. I am so excited to say that the surgery was a success! I am a little over 4 weeks pregnant! Dr. Toma and his staff were exceptional! They made sure we understood the process, every step of the way! The surgery was affordable, and was absolutely worth every penny!Thank you Dr. Toma and Staff- you guys are amazing! ❤
All of my experiences with the NCCRM team so far have been fantastic. When giving bad news, our doctor was to-the-point, but professional and kind. Id highly recommend them to anyone looking to start fertility treatments.
When I tell you they was the best from my anesthesia James my nurse Olivia and my girl Spencer in ultrasound when I tell you doctor Rice kept me smiling and laughing we all had a great time it really took away my fear and anxiety they took care of me to the point no pain til I got home the next day like jameesss come give a cocktail LOL 🤣😂 !!!! update soon after I heal. OH and they tell you everything from beginning to the end
We couldnt have asked for a better experience with NCCRM! Decided on a whim at 35 to have tubal reversal after having ligation in 2015. I had my reversal surgery Dec 2021 and got our positive pregnancy January 22, 2022. We conceived on 1st full cycle! The entire staff at NCCRM was wonderful to work with! Baby boy is due 10-16-2022💙
Everything about NCCRM was exceptional. The price was perfect, office staff and coordinators were attentive, anesthesiologist was brilliant, and Dr. Toma was very thorough! My favorite part of today was my nurse, Kelly. She is from my neck of the woods and reminded me of home. She was so devoted to me as a person, it was extremely comforting. From start to finish, I never had a question left unanswered or was unsure of anything. They took perfect care of me. Thank you NCCRM!!
After 1yr after the surgery as well as working with my ob gyn and endocrinologist we finally got pregnant! We can definitely say it works and we are excited to be welcoming our baby 2024!
Dr. Toma and everyone at NCCRM are simply amazing. I had the absolute BEST nurse ever, Kelly is an absolute blessing to NCCRM. Starting tubal reversal journey seemed intimidating and confusing. Dr. Toma and his medical assistants immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. He truly cares about his patients and it shows each step of the way. As soon as I walked in I was treated with a high level of care. There are no words to fully describe my experience with NCCRM. If youre looking for the best do not look any further. I would highly recommend Dr. Toma and his wonderful staff to anyone going through fertility related issues.
NCCRM is the best! Everyone that I encountered was extremely nice and they are your biggest cheerleaders. I traveled over two hours for my appointments, but it was worth it. Carla, my IVF nurse, was so amazing. If I had any questions she was there to answer them. Without NCCRM I would not be pregnant with my first baby right now. I cant thank them enough. I highly recommend NCCRM if you are in need of fertility help. They truly are the best!
I had my tubal reversal done on 9/28/18. I felt that the staff was very accommodating before and the day of the surgery. They made sure that I was comfortable. The reason for 4 stars is because I had a difficult time scheduling a follow up appt., only because it was inconvenient for the doctor to do any other examinations on a Friday. And felt that since the doctor received his $5k that he no longer cared about me as his patient. Its kind of minor and maybe petty, but I was really concerned that I was still very swollen at 2 weeks and still bleeding. He came in the room, pressed down on the incision site, said everything looks fine and walked out. He spent all of 2 minutes in the room.Other than that, the most important to me is that I was not treated poorly before or the day of the surgery. I was really worried about that because of all the bad reviews I had read prior to the surgery. I was not ever disrespected by any other staff members. All the nurses and receptionist were great the entire time!
Dr. Toma and his staff were wonderful. They kept us informed every step of the way during our tubal reversal journey. They did not make any false promises or try to sugar coat anything. I had my tubal reversal on March 13, 2019. Surgery went very well and the recovery staff was great. The staff was easy to reach and continued to provide excellent customer service after the surgery. I found out I was pregnant on May 3, 2019 and delivered a beautiful baby girl on January 9, 2020.
Very clean place, nice customer service great details . Not sure if the tubal reverse surgery was a success but once done I had 10cm on one side and 9cm on the other. I will write a review in 6 months to update on rather or not I become pregnant. Im very thankful to Dr. Tomas and his staff. We went for surgery on August 27, 2020. Everything was explained. Not once did he guarantee that it would be successful. He let me know the percentages of success rates. Once done he let me know how much tubing I had left and to schedule a follow up. Yes it is painful. But not off the wall painful. Im starting to feel better after just five days. Im out of time so I have to schedule with my doctor. I dont have anything bad to say. Soooool ThankfulFast forward 10 months. My little boy is here. Thanks Dr. Toma and staff. Without you this would not have been possible!!!!!
Love this place it’s amazing! Had my tubes reversed in May 2022. Not going to lie surgery went smoothed the healing process hurt but healed day by day. Now I’m 12 weeks pregnant. I’m so excited to meet my Angel baby. Truly a gift from God❤️. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I love NCCRM. I just had my Tubal Reversal yesterday. I was so comfortable and I was not nervous not one bit because of how they made me feel. I love nurse Kelly she has such a great personality. If you are looking for a place to get your tubal reversal that is affordable, you found the right place.
I actually scheduled my surgery like a week before I did it and paid for it. I had my surgery on March 1 2021 I am now 6 weeks pregnant as of today I am excited with the surgery and it went well although the recovery was at least 3 days of me needing help when I got home but after that I was able to move around. The only issue I had was leaving so soon after the surgery I think they need to have a bigger recovery area and more time to recovery and not rushed out but other than that it was great I recommend them..
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Toma and the rest of the staff at NCCRM. Going through IVF can be a scary process, but from my initial appointment I felt comfortable that I was getting the best care. I couldn’t have gone through the experience without Nurse Carla either. She helped explained things in detail and made sure I had all of the tools for success. Thanks to the amazing team at NCCRM I’m currently expecting my miracle IVF baby, due in August. Can’t wait to come back for another cycle in a few years.
It’s difficult to put into words how much admiration and love we genuinely feel towards this facility. My husband and I tried for years to get pregnant, and thanks to Dr. Toma and his amazing staff our dreams came true! We welcomed our beautiful twin daughters into the world this past March. Dr. Toma is the most talented and factual doctor I’ve had the privilege to see. He tells you how it is and helps his patients understand every detail of the process. He is a miracle worker for sure. Walking into the office Brenda would make you feel as if you are the only patient they are seeing that day, her warm smile and sweet personality helps an emotional process seem a little brighter. We had the privilege to work with both Folita and Carla, we can’t say enough positive things about these two ladies! They have more patience and understanding then anyone I know! They are consistent with communication and never make you feel like there is a “silly question”. My husband and I will always have a special place in our hearts for everyone at NCCRM and recommend anyone who is struggling to start a family to go here! They are the absolute best.
The donor egg program is a poor experience, The woman managing is unresponsive, disorganized and cannot be trusted. My treatment plan changed and I called and emailed for an explanation. I got an email response one month later. Now that I am days away from thaw and transfer she called in a panic that she did not order all my drugs and now I will be behind on my shots waiting on Mandells.
I had my tubal reversal on 8/1/2022 and October 12th 2022 I had a positive pregnancy test but unfortunately I had a ectopic pregnancy in my right tube. I was sad but I knew this could of happened, they warned me about it before the surgery. They were always honest. I had surgery on October 19 2022 they took my right tube out. But I’m not loosing hope I still have my left tube in good condition. In God willing I have faith that I’m will get pregnant soon. I’m staying positive. Thank you guys, you guys were awesome.
First visit started out a little hairy. The techs took my temperature via forehead and said it was high so would have to reschedule the visit. I asked to have it checked orally because I knew I had just run over there for my visit and of course my skin is going to be hot. They took me into another room to check it but then couldnt get the probe cover to fit over the thermometer. It took TWO of them to figure out how to take my temperature (and it was 97.6F, so normal). I was about to be sent away for an incorrect reading. If you know about fertility appt.s they are not always readily available so its not like I could come in on another random Tuesday.Second thing: I had an ultrasound that lasted all of 10 minutes in a VERY cold room. Please provide patients a blanket or something to keep them warm when they have to undress. I was told Your ovaries look fine but thats about it. I did bloodwork the same day. I wasnt happy because I sent a follow up message through the portal (getting through to anyone via phone is a nightmare) asking what my AFC was. No response. Sent an email, no response. Left a message on the nurse line, got a call back from the loveliest nurse Brenda, who should be given kudos BTW for her kindness and responsiveness, but still couldnt get an answer.Next visit was to discuss bloodwork, which was fine, but no follow up my questions in the portal. Whats the purpose of the portal?Lastly, paid up front for a procedure that was supposed to be a hold on my credit card. It ended up being a charge, and so when we no longer needed the appt., I reached out again...with no response...so I disputed it and asked for a refund. The refund check that was sent immediately bounced causing me to have a number of issues with following payments. The nice lady in the billing office fixed the issue with that check, but that doesnt solve the remaining concerns. I would not choose to go here again in the future, but my experience may be wholly different than yours.
I had a tubal ligation after the birth of my 3rd child in 2003 at the age of 22. Fast forward 17 years later and I had met the love of my life and we wanted to have a child together. I went to NCCRM in 2019 for a tubal reversal knowing that my chances of getting pregnant were low due to my age and the length of time since my tubal ligation. The staff here are amazing especially Kelly! They were able to save almost all of my fallopian tubes. I was pregnant within a year! I now have a beautiful 5 month old and am 12 weeks pregnant with another baby! Thank you NCCRM for making this possible!!
I can only write a review based on my experience and can honestly say that for a tubal reversal I would highly recommend Dr. Toma. From start to finish I knew what I was getting into and I felt prepared for my surgery physically and financially. I was told that I may not get pregnant even after the reversal and even if I did the risk of miscarriage was still a threat. I ended up getting pregnant 5 months post surgery (not even trying) and delivered a healthy baby boy on Valentines day this year. I was well cared for and prepared for all possible outcomes. I dont foresee needing Dr. Tomas services again but if I did, I would surely return to his office.
The staff there was very nice and helpful which is the reason for the two stars. I had read a lot of great things about how helpful Dr. Toma was and such. Well, at our appointment, we were very disappointed to find out the exact opposite. He told us if we had anymore questions afterwards to let him know. That same evening, I wrote a message to the office, through the patient portal, asking questions I forgot to ask. Today is day 4 and I still have had no response. I would not recommend this place. We are going to a different fertility clinic for a second opinion.
I had my surgery in December 2021. Dr Toma and the staff were great treated me very well. My first cycle begin in February I got pregnant unfortunately miscarried at 5 wks, we’re still trying wish us luck!
I had my tubal reversal surgery done nearly two weeks ago and I have to give this place 5 stars they were amazing took wonderful care of me . I have to admit the night before my surgery I was flipping out to the max because I ran across some of these negative review and scared me to death . But this place was great , they inform you of everything and let you know everything up front and that everyone is not guaranteed to get pregnant regardless it is a risk you are willing to take and I understand that completely everyone’s body is different. And Dr Toma is very clear about that . He did a excellent job and all staff here was wonderful and in a professional manner from scheduling with Josie who was very communicative anytime I called about anything she always returned my calls quickly , Kelly my nurse was absolutely amazing you could not wish for a kinder compassionate in a professional manner nurse to take care of you she has even called me twice after my surgery to make sure I am okay . Easton was great with explaining everything to me about the procedure before hand and answering any questions I had . Nate was my anesthesiologist he was wonderful!!! Everyone was just great and couldn’t have chosen a more greater place to have this surgery performed at I would give them more stars if I could !!! I would recommend this place to anyone , I have a tubal reversal center 30 mins from me and chose to go to Cary and drive 4 hours because of the reputation this place has and I was absolutely right !!!
I recently did my first round of IVF & unfortunately wasnt successful. There has been no compassion of care through my process. We live over 2 hours away, never met Dr. Toma or Dr. Liwan in person when we did go to the office for our services. We were told my insurance covers these services, however the office wont tell you that their Embryology Lab- DOES NOT TAKE Insurance, so its an out of pocket expense. They also ask for your deductible up front, which is ridiculous, imo. The communication is absolutely horrible from beginning to end & every where in between. We have so many unanswered questions & the Doctor will not call me unless I make another appointment to speak with him so they can just get more money out of me. They came highly recommended, however I would NEVER refer anyone to this practice. Take your business elsewhere
I cant begin to give this place enough stars! I went through 3 different fertility clinics until my OBGYN recommended this one, let me tell you that was the end of my search. I love it that the staff listens to you all the other clinics only concentrated on my age (43) and tried to talk me out of a Tubal reversal. I had some blood work done and found out that I am through the roof on my fertility and should have no issues getting pregnant this way. I was a little scared the day of surgery because it has been 20 years since my tubes were tied. (long story, didnt really want to do it, was made to by my doctor) anyway all that aside I was so happy the whole process from payments to scheduling to after care. These people generally care about you as an individual, they checked on me so many times the day of surgery they could tell I was scared. I felt like it was 5 minutes if surgery but let me tell ya dont underestimate a TR it will put you on your feet< LOL just listen to what they say they will get you through it all. I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks to check it all out then its go time! I will be happy to say that NCCRM helped in this journey to become a 1st time mommy! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart*** if you are looking for fertility clinic this is the one STOP here***
Hello, I spent over $10,000 on IVF with your company in 2018. The last communication I have received from you was to tell me to stop taking my medication because the transfer didn’t work. You had no concern if I had properly passed the embryos. There was no sympathy card, follow up via telephone or email. You made me feel like you had no care if my embryos died or how I was doing physically or mentally.FYI, six months later, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and if IVF is not the blame, how dare you prescribe a cancer patient with estrogen. Since then I have lost my husband and any dream of having a family of my own. Shame on you for your uncompassionate work ethics and greed.
The staff at NCCRM were very pleasant, understanding and very caring. I had the most difficult time getting to my appointment, the airport canceled my flight and I had to take an earlier flight the morning of my surgery. You would think the staff would say awe well thats not our problem, but completely the opposite. Everyone was concerned for my wellbeing , the care I received was unbelievable I wish every hospital or urgent care facility were as thoughtful, caring and professional as they were. I would like to say a special thanks to Amber for being the positive force every time there was an obstacle thrown in my way, when I thought I wasnt going to make it there, she would say Nichole we are going to get you here one way or another, we have a baby to makeThanks to everyone and god bless
Very grateful for the team here bringing hope into our family. Doctors told me I would never have kids but this team made it happen 18 beautiful years ago. Thanks
Best place ever! I had a tubal revesal in March 11, 2017, and got pregnant exactly within the range I was told 6 months to a year. Today my baby girl is 3 years and 8 months. She will turn 4 on Valentines Day. I got pregnant again and my baby boy is 11 months. He will turn a year this month October 22, 2022. Thank you NCCRM for helping me make a family 👪
My tubal Reversal was oct 1 2020 during COVID 19. We traveled to North Carolina and chose to lived there about 13 days just to get rested up and enjoy this journey.Surgery day: The facilities was so close to our hotel. I loved the facilities. They were Extremely CLEAN AND QUIET. The NURSE 👩⚕️ Spirit was most compassionate and left a everlasting impression on me. My pain management and comfort was anticipated in advance by NCCRM on every level. My incision was thoughtfully placed by my surgeon. Dr. Toma skills are impeccable.( When I returned to LOUISIANA my doctors didn’t have any complaints. )Price: was very reasonable , paid up front and there weren’t any surprise cost after surgery.Remember this is a outpatient surgery center and should be respected as such. YES it is a difficult to get in touch with NCCRM, AS THEY ARE PERFORMING SURGERIES etc. if you don’t know their schedules. I usually emailed and I was never ignored and every email was responded to according to its urgency. NCCRM PROFESSIONALISM WAS MOST DEMONSTRATED IN SKILL.6 months later My HSG revealed that surgery was a success. I will wait patiently on the Lord JESUS for our miracle baby.
I had my tubal ligation reversal this past May and got pregnant by July! I was impressed at how effective the surgery was. During my time there for the surgery it was very quick Your basically in and out. My only disappointment was I was continually being told to wake up, (I have no recelection of how long i got to rest after surgery.. )when i finally came to and I woke up , i was very nauseous, and was vomiting and was simultaneously being told to get dressed and pushed out to my car, where I was sick the whole way home. It wasnt their fault I was sick but do wish I had a little more time after paying all the money out of pocket to wake up and recover some before essentially being pushed out of the place. I had an expectation of it being treated the same as any other surgery but maybe because its cosmetic its less patient friendly. The staff I got to speak to was nice and I have no complaints for the surgery itself, it worked and thats what the goal was for so I do recommend this facility.
I wanted to do a Review related to IVF since I dont see a whole bunch of reviews regarding it and in case anyone is wondering! (This will be lengthy). My Partner and I begun our journey around I believe Sep 2021 (with our consolation regarding reciprocal IVF) at NCCRM.My partner started her shots December 2021 and I started my egg stimulation shots beginning Jan 2022 (they can prep her while you are going through your stimulation shots). We had our egg retrieval and by Jan 24th 2022 we were moving forward with the egg transfer! (There is A LOT of steps in between). Stanley was absolutely great with handling the embryos and he was so excited as well. He definitely loves his job lol. He choose a great embryo for us and the egg transfer was successful. We found out we were PREGNANT! First try! We are very grateful.Currently at this time my partner is 15 weeks 1 day pregnant. We did the NIPT test around 10 weeks and everything came back normal AND we found out the gender! Hoping for positive news at the 20week scan!Couple things to NOTE - Between September to December the communication wasnt the greatest. You really have to be the one to take charge and call if you have any questions etc etc. I think it really has to do with the fact that they see SO many patients. The medications ended up being a little more than we expected.Once we started the actual process in December the communication was great. Folita and Carla did a good job.SO all in all right now we are Pregnant and super excited; it was worth the wait! We hope everything continues to go well and will probably try for a second in a few years (lol).Brenda is amazing! We love her lol. Hi Brenda!Even though the whole process is pricey we are happy we choose NCCRM. Thank You!
I had my tubal reversal on Sept 16, 2021. Everyone that I saw from the nurse to the PA to Dr. Toma was so kind and caring. Everything was gone over in detail with me and any questions I had were answered very well. As of date 10/28 I have not had a positive pregnancy test but hopefully that will change soon. This surgical center was referred to me by my High risk OB wow also talked to multiple reproductive endocrinologist wow also referred patients there.
I loved my experience at NCCRM! Carla is patient, understanding, and absolutely amazing. The doctors are very knowledgeable and kind. Staff in the Medical Records responded promptly to my phone calls , and the front desk is courteous. I would recommend anyone to NCCRM for fertility treatments!
September of last year, my wife and I flew from Minneapolis Minnesota down to Raleigh North Carolina to have a tubal reversal performed at NCCRM. The staff was amazing and treated us great. We stayed at a hotel right next to the clinic. The hotel was very familiar with patients from out of town.We we chose to come all the way down there mostly because they were one of the most affordable places to have this done, but also because they were one of the best.We couldnt have this procedure done locally for anything less than $12,000. Even with hotel, Uber and airfare it was still less than half of that. We were pregnant within 6 weeks of the surgery being complete.July 15th we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family. So glad that this facility was a part of that. And this child will know how special he was growing up.
I had my tubal reversal this morning and I was very happy with the experience. Nurse Kelly was so amazing and caring and always making sure I was comfortable made sure I didnt need anything. And if I did she said to just yell Kelly and shed come running. Dr toma was amazing sweet man. I didnt speak to him much but he explained everything to me perfectly and made sure I was comfortable with the plan and that I understood it. Nick the guy who done my IV and put me to sleep was great even with my veins being hard to hit. Everyone there was great. Now the waiting game of seeing if I can have a baby.Just an update today is March 15th one month from my surgery, I am still healing at the incision but I feel back to normal but no positive pregnancy test yet. Will keep posted!I wish everyone well and hope you are blessed with what you want.Update: today is April 19 still no luck on a positive pregnancy test, gonna keep trying though. Its been 2 months and 4 days since my surgery, Ill update again on down the road.ANOTHER UPDATE: Today is may 10 ,2022 Thought I had a very very very faint line on a pregnancy test yesterday but then not even an hour later to go to the bathroom and have my period. So im guessing im not pregnant yet. I have been having some mild pains in my right side where the surgery was but nothing I cant tolerate. If anyone has any advice though about my confusion with a faint positive pregnancy test to turn around and get my period feel free to let me know. Will update later.September 13, still no luck so Im giving up.
Best experience ever! From beginning to end. I would highly recommend Dr. Toma and his staff at NCCRM. I had my Essure Reversal February 1, 2021 and we were pregnant May 2021. Now awaiting our bundle of joy’s arrival on January 29, 2022. Thanks Dr. Toma and staff!!
I can not say enough how amazing this place is. I had my tubal reversal yesterday morning and nurse Kelly is amazing. Dr toma and his entire staff were wonderful. My experience with NCCRM was AMAZING!!!!! They are so caring and informative, my husband didn’t have to worry about anything nurse Kelly called him multiple times throughout the whole process to keep him updated, even called after my surgery to check on me multiple times that day and today. They break down everything to you and answer any questions you have. They make sure your in good health before they let you leave them. I highly recommend this place. If I had to do this all over again I would choose them over and over. The hotel is literally in walking distance to nccrm like we stayed at comfort suites and when we come out we can see nccrm. I’m so excited to begin this journey. I had minimal pain after surgery the whole day. I just can’t say enough about them, love this place! Anyone looking for a tubal reversal dr needs to go to NCCRM you won’t be disappointed at all. Everything went so smoothly. THANK YOU DR TOMA AND NURSE KELLY AND ALL THE OTHER STAFF!!Can’t wait to see you guys and gals in 2 wks!!
NCCRM performed my tubal reversal in May 2020. The time between my consult, lab work, and appointment was last than two months. They made me feel extremely comfortable the day of my surgery. They fully explained what I was about to experience, after care, and what to do after conception. I highly recommend them.
My experience at NCCRM was incredible, the staff are caring, knowledgeable, and really care about the success of their patients. Lets talk about pricing if you been in the market looking at fertility cost you know it can be very experience. I will tell you that their prices are unbeatable. You will get great clinical care with results. Please if youre looking for a caring doctor, and office staff please check out NCCRM. Four years ago I conceived my beautiful daughter on my first ivf try ever. Well Wishes to all
Very bad experience with Dr Liwan. We had met her two times and both times she don’t study the old records properly and comes to the patient with a blank mind. She just speaks very superficial and don’t explain what has to be done and we have to explain her the whole case. We felt like meeting an medical office admin but not fertility specialist. Better to try some other fertility clinic.
Dr. Toma was very upfront and honest. Answered all of our questions before the surgery. The nurses were extremely helpful as well. We went there for tubal reversal surgery and had a wonderful experience. We were over an hour late for our pre-op appointment due to our flight and they understood and still took the time to go over everything with us. I just had the surgery done 3 days ago and am feeling great. Havent had to take my pain meds for 2 days now. I would recommend this place for anyone who is wanting to have a tubal reversal. Thanks for all the amazing help.
I was extremely happy with NCCRM. I was treated courteously and respectfully. I know that unlike some of the other reviews, that I needed to be patient and not expect them to drop everything to call me right away if it is not an emergency. In case others didnt know there are other patients and they will get back to you! I am happy to say our treatment was completely successful and have a baby on the way. Pricing is reasonable, staff is wonderful and doctors know there stuff! I highly recommend them to anyone trying to have a baby!
I had a tubal reversal performed in may 2014 and had a great experience with staff and financial coordinators at NCCRM. My Dr was Dr Mulvaney and he had great bedside manner and made me very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise in explaining in lamens terms the procedure. I got pregnant by August of 2014 and unfortunately miscarried at 11 weeks. The surgery itself was successful and I was satisfied with the services I received
Staff and Dr were extremely cold after my surgery. The Dr did not even bother to stop and tell my husband any information after the surgery neither did the nurses. They gave a sheet about post op but didnt explain anything, especially how much severe pain i would be in and that it would last so long! They never did a followup and Im still not pregnant. I had the hulka clips for only a few years and before was very fertile so at this point Im questioning what he actually did or didnt do. Please spend the additional money and go to the other Doctor with such great reviews and actually high success rate I wish I had.
They were very friendly and made me feel like family. I wasnt judged for wanting my tubes undone. Dr. Toma was excellent at explaining what I should expect. Mrs. Brenda who scheduled my appt is such a blessing to the facility. Im excited about going back for my surgery. I will and have referred NCCRM to several of my colleagues and friends.
As for the surgery itself, Dr. Toma went in without knowing what I had left of my tubes and luckily there was 6 cm on both sides. My surgery went great, without any complications. Recovery was nice, which included light-heartened and joking banter between myself, my husband and the recovery nurse. I was not rushed out the door, as expressed by other reviewers. Whatever pain meds I was given during surgery lasted until the next day, at which point I began to take the prescription pain meds given to me. I actually felt better after I stopped taking those pain meds and just used ibuprofen. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since my surgery and I still have some slight needle-like pains at times, but I do not attribute that to the surgery itself. Rather, I attribute that to myself, as I feel so good, I tend to forget Im still healing and over exert myself. I seriously do not understand the negative comments against Dr. Toma. I do not know if the staff were having a bad day, or if the patient had a bad attitude and projected it on the staff, which seems more likely to me (psychologist perspective). I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Toma. He was very straight forward and honest, describing the expected experience, explaining all potential outcomes and problems. At the end of the consult, we had a great conversation about fishing (Hopefully hell take our advice and come fish our local lake. We would love to show him the town). He is super serious when he is in doctor mode, explaining everything and then super nice and funny when he is out of doctor mode. He explained that he would fix any problems that he saw during the surgery, such as polyps. Fortunately, he did find a problem that I had, ovarian torsion, and fixed it. As it turns out, that torsion must have been causing some problems that I had prior to surgery, because I no longer have any of those problems, such as severe menstrual cramps. It seems the torsion was blocking my hormones and wreaking havoc. Thank you so much Dr. Toma for finding and fixing that issue!! Furthermore, unlike other reviewers, the staff was extremely nice, considerate and attentive to me and my husband, from the front desk to discharge!! I also saw a review claiming they never return phones calls, especially regarding problems, which I also disagree with. We traveled 9 hours for this surgery and decided to make the drive home the day of my surgery. MY decision to ride 9 hours in a car left me with some strange symptoms, so I panicked and called the office, on Saturday, and left a message. Two nurses returned my call, I repeat TWO nurses returned my call to check on me. They were extremely considerate, explained what was happening and requested that I call back or see a local doctor if I had any other worries. I would recommend Dr. Toma to anyone planning a TR (which I already have, hopefully shell take my advice) Thank you Dr. Toma and staff!! You are all wonderful and I cannot wait to give you the news of a pregnancy!!
Great facility and the staff was amazing! I had a tubal reversal on November 19th 2019 , the day before I had an ultrasound and consultation with the dr. Everything looked great and they explained the process to us. The day of surgery went great as well. The nurse was by my side the whole time and within and hour I was in surgery, when surgery was over I was in recovery for about am hour. The dr told me everything went well and then i was discharged. I had an amazing experience!
Dr. Toma and his staff are amazing!! They made me aware of everything every step of the way. After years of trying to conceive, Im 4 months pregnant. Dr. Tomas hands are blessed by God!!Nurse Carla held my hand the entire way through. I love them and cant wait to begin my final ivf transfer.😊💖
Dr Toma & his staff are really top notch. We interviewed several fertility facilities before choosing NCCRM. All were fine, but NCCRM was a step above the others. Dr. Toma is honest & open about his practices & pricing. We live in NY & remote monitor up here. They have been great coordinating with doctors offices up here. Just all around we are so grateful for their help in our journey to become parents! I cant recommend them highly enough.
This place is amazing! I got my essure removal here and dr toma was able to allow me to have another child. Got my surgery done April 1st, pregnant April 9, confirmed april 27, and my baby was born dec 31. No complications. She was born exactly at 40weeks. She was full term!!! My favorite staff is Amber! She was amazing! She helped me with alot of info and made me feel confident with the choice I made! She also kept in touch before and after the surgery! If you want a reversal done, please contact dr toma and his team. You wont regret it!
On March 12th I had my pre-opt appointment with Dr.Toma he went over my records with me and we discussed my Essure reversal. There was a slight problem with the amount I was charge due to the fact that one of the ladies I was working with back in October throught I had the essure place on one side and had a tubal ligation on the other side. I explained I had the essure placed on both sides and when one side failed I went ahead and had a tubal ligation. So we came to an agreement about what was done and was able to move forward. March 13th I had my surgery around 9:30am and was in surgery about 3 in half hours I must say my nurse Debbie was amazing from the time I walked in til the time she wheeled me out to my husband car. Also Amber was amazing as well she is such a sweetheart minus the fact my husband called her about 10 times before my surgery date just to try and set up my appointment but other than that today is Friday and amber has checked on me twice since being back home. NCCRM me and my husband want to say thank you for everything and we will do an update when we conceive.Update:After 14 months of trying to conceive, me and my husband finally got our 1st BFP pregnancy test on 7/1/20. We give all our thanks to our father above and also thank you NCCRM❤️
In 2007 I got my tubes tied, Im a mother of three my youngest is 13 and I got my tubes untied by doctor toma in October 26th 2020. The staff was very nice they get five stars from me Dr Toma was very direct he told me what was going to happen, then after they prep me for the surgery he came in explained more about the operation. Then I remember counting backwards from 10 then I woke up. They told me that it was a success that everything went good so the the recovery was great I had a lot of support from my loved ones we drove 8 hours we are from Dayton Ohio and he treated us like we were his family. So Im living witness was stating that me and my husband are expecting our first child together and I am due in October the 22nd 2021. We conceived in January around my birthday which will only be 3 months after I got mine tubal reversal. We are so happy that is not in my tubes it made it to the uterus which is awesome. We are so excited and I just want to let everyone thats thinking about having this procedure done that Dr Toma is the best and he has my blessings and he is my guardian angel I would like to tell him in his staff thank you so much you made my dreams come true and the cost was around $5, 500 and that was for everything once again if youre thinking about having this procedure done Dr Toma and his staff is the place to go theyre very nice and he is an excellent doctor, the anesthesia is also great at his job he makes you feel very comfortable as well as the nurses thank you all and wish everyone whos trying to conceive you have all my baby dust coming your way love always candy B.
NCCRM has been wonderful in working with us through our infertility struggle. They sat down and explained every step of what our process would entail and helped us choose the path of maybe not the cheapest route but the route they thought would be the most successful. Carla has been exceptional! She has answered every crazy question and worry that I had and never seemed to mind what question I would come up with next. She made me feel like I was the only patient when I knew she had multiple others just like me who were worried and stressed. The while team is amazing and attentive. I highly suggest them to anyone struggling with infertility issues.
They have no problem diagnosing you, but they dont seem to like trying to find the cause of said diagnosis. My semen analysis showed low sperm count. Ive been asking through the patient portal what tests could be ordered by the doctor to determine if its a hormone imbalance or deficiency or a a blockage in the ejaculatory duct with no response left. Got a diagnosis low sperm count, but they didnt give any plausible options for tests or possible treatments.
After tons of online research we decided to make the trek to North Carolina from Rhode Island to have a TR. I am so glad we did. The staff was awesome and always very responsive to my many, many, MANY emails. They were very flexible in scheduling and even worked through the insurance obstacles with us in order to make sure all of the insurance criteria was met. Dr. Mulvaney was fantastic and answered all of my questions and put me at ease from the second I met him. It has only been 1 week since the surgery and I am almost back to 100%. I was a bit surprised by how sore I was for the past week although I never took any of the pain meds and managed just fine with Motrin. I am so glad we chose NCCRM and would recommend them to anyone thinking about having a Tubal Reversal! Thank you to everyone at NCCRM for such a wonderful experience!
I am 1 week and a two days post op. I have not TTC, therefore, I am not pregnant at this time. But I wanted to leave a review because my experience with Dr Toma and his staff was top notch. There was a little wait for my consultant visit past the scheduled time. However, I didnt let it discourage me or get me upset. Things happen out of our control and maybe God needed him to spend extra time with another patient. With that in mind, once I got my time with Dr. Toma; he handled me with care, he was professional, knowledgeable and explained EVERYTHING in detail. In addition, Nurse Folita is kind, a good listener, knowledgeable and very personable. I felt comfortable with all the staff; from the reception to the Anesthesiologist. I would recommend to clinic to everyone. I traveled fromchicago Illinois and I do not regret it at all.***********UPDATE***********I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I turned 40 August 24, 2018. With the grace of God and Dr Toma, I am so grateful.
Thanks to NCCRM my husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy in April. Our overall experience was pleasant. Dr. Toma is an excellent surgeon and all of the nurses are great!!
Updated 9/2022The ultrasound tech specifically is INCREDIBLY RUDE. We are doing monitoring and with questions and she is condescending and does not care to listen. She has no sympathy or compassion with what she does. Do not work in a field where women can be very emotional if you can’t even be kind! Do not go there for anything. We have been working with NCCRM since the summer 2021 but the communication is horrendous. Our entire process continues to get delayed because no one responds via email and can never get a hold of someone over the phone. We are using donor eggs and we are having a hard time even getting donors added to our list. Told one thing, then a few weeks later something different. They have a portal that NEVER gets responded to and though their is a donor list (that got donors added before we actually filled out our questionnaire) we were told later that donors can’t be added to that. It’s already hard enough to be going through this process, let alone having a complete lack of care/concern from the office itself. Upset that this continues to get pushed back.
I had a reversal done at your facility September of last year. I was told that we’d be able to conceive within 6 months. Here we are 10 months later and I was just told that I don’t have an egg reserve. This is something that your office didn’t check when you all requested lab work. I’m absolutely heartbroken and defeated! This should have been checked PRIOR to ma paying $5,000 to your facility. Your facility got our hopes up and today they were shot down. If you all would’ve done proper lab work this would have been caught. Instead, you saw an opportunity to make money without doing anything further. So here we are left with paying $5,000 to you all and now wondering how we can afford to see a fertility specialist. I’m emotionally damaged after this. Maybe your practice should do proper blood work and let people know before having a procedure their actual chances. I’ll never in my life recommend you all to anyone. The amount of depression that I’m battling right now is immeasurable. You failed me, my husband and our family. We sure could use that money back to actually have a specialist help us. We could’ve used that money to put towards IVF. Yet, here we are.
Dr. Tomas office was recommended to us by both a friend and a family member. We have had great success so far! We have a 2 year old daughter and currently 7 weeks pregnant with a boy!! Very very happy!
THEY DONT DISCARD YOUR SPECIMENS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. You will be a number. A dollar sign. Ive experienced alot of the same issues as some of these others-no one answering your calls/emails, absolutely NO sympathy nor empathy & very unprofessional. The only person that showed any kind of bedside manners was Carla and the other nurse in the back. We used NCCRM in 2020 for a tubal reversal. No success. Toma then recommended IVF. We paid upfront. Went thru a round last October 2021. Everything was running smoothly, egg count was high, looked favorable and appeared to be on the right track..only to be told our embryos were abnormal ...on a Friday at that-without any explanation. No Im sorry, your second options are etc... nothing! That day I lost alot of me and fell into a depression. Its been bad. Some person with little English in the lab telling me your embryos abnormal. We had to wait another week and request another $$$ appt with Toma for him to blatantly tell me Im too old-we need to use a donor egg. Hence why you never see a pregnant woman in that office-mostly younger college girls. Its an egg bank! They are successful at that. Toma out of his mouth said come pick one of these young unc girls eggs. You want academically gifted, certain eye color, hair? Wow. Absolutely no bedside manners for the field hes in. Im appalled we gave this place so much $ for this type treatment. I asked what happened to my eggs and his semen-they told me it was discarded. These people just sent me a $500 bill for Embryo storage! WHAT EMBRYOS? They even sent me a refund back last year for the transfer credit. Now we owe them $500. You still have our embryos! I am livid. Depression has been real thru all this. Emailed in about the invoice last week-asked for a call back. Ofc they didnt call. I called in and was told my embryos were stored still there not discarded after all. Youve been storing abnormal embryos for over a year now...I wonder where my husbands sperm ended up? The office person told me the manager was out of office and she would have him contact me. Of course. I asked if this person was new as I had been coming there for awhile and familiar with staff names-he didnt sound familiar? And of course-hes new. Alot of of courses right? DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.
Tubal reversal was completed on 07/19/22 waiting for recovery to concieve. I definitely give this place 5 stars.. Dr. Easton & his daughter was amazing! They made my fears vanish in the midst of my minds chaos. I will post pics when I get a positive pregnancy test!
We cant be thankful enough!! Our dreams of having our own family came true, thanks to the staff at NCCRM!! From start to finish, Dr. Toma and staff provided us with all the information and tools we needed to start our family. We were blessed with boy/ girl twins 4 months ago, and could not be happier. I recommend any and every one who needs some help in this area to give them a shot. You wont be disappointed!!!Thanks again NCCRM!!!!
NCCRM is absolutely amazing. I had so many questions and concerns about a tubal ligation, but Amber was so helpful and answered every one of my questions very quickly and really put my mind at ease. When we arrived at NCCRM the staff was so welcoming and the place was so clean and warm. Dr. Mulvaney was wonderful to both my husband and I with explaining everything in clear details. The procedure was a piece of cake and we just couldnt be happier with our experience there.
Forever grateful for NCCRM & their entire staff. From Ms Brenda & Gypsy at the front making sure everyone who comes in feels welcome, to Folita & Carla being total rockstars managing so many patience with so much grace and compassion. to ALL of the doctors on staff. My wife & I have been traveling over 2 hours since January 2019 simply because NCCRM is the best. Highly recommend!
NCCRM is a step above the rest. They work like a well-oiled machine. The staff is professional, kind, and friendly. Before surgery, everything was thoroughly explained, and there was never a moment I didnt feel completely cared for. Im grateful for the world-class doctors performing the tubal reversal surgeries to give many of us another chance at creating life.
DR Toma is the best, I couldn’t ask for a better Dr , because of him mow I have hope of having a baby again , I was skeptical about my tuba ligation reversal thank God everything went well DR Toma is one of the best Doctor out there..
Update 01/30/19: We are pregnant EDD Oct 7th 2019. My betas and progesterone have been rising beautifully. Back in Sept dh had his testosterone checked an he had Low T, an his diabetes did mess with his SA. In Oct I went an had test ran to make sure my tubes was clear an uterus was good. Dr. Toma was wonderful like always 😊, he knew exactly what to do. I cant thank him an the staff enough, looks like we are getting our TR/Clomid/Rainbow after all!Update 9/9/18: I had a chemical pregnancy (missed miss carriage) back in June and just experienced another this cycle. With this info, I know my tubes are indeed open 6 cycles after surgery, which is an amazing thing to know during the ttc journey. While Im not sure why I cant seem to get a sticky bean is frustrating but I know everything will be alright, just keep going. Id still recommend Dr. Toma ANY DAY!I just had my TR by Dr. Toma 03/22/18, I am 31 yrs old, I had my TL done in 2011 burnt method, I suffered with severe PTLS. Dr Toma and nurses did amazing, they was very polite from the time I walked in the door. I highly recommend this staff, he is as honest as they come, I loved how he explains how the tubes work, how the procedure works and recovery during your consultant, just like with everything we really dont know much until we are cut open an seen in person. Please understand everything you do in life is a risk. I was left with 9 cm on 1 side and 8.5 on the other, so I got lucky, Dr Toma makes sure you fully understand everything before taking your money and I can respect a Dr for that kind of honesty. We paid cash and their cash rate was the best, they made sure i was 100% ok before releasing me home. They took care of me like family, they even called me the next day to check on me and see how I was doing. Ever since the surgery, I feel a huge sense of relief off me, I feel more myself and alive, if your seeking a honest TR Dr, dont hesitate, go see Toma at NCCRM.
I cannot say enough good things about NCCRM, between Dr. Toma to Nurse Carla and the lovely reception staff they are not to be beat in the business of having babies. My husband and I have struggled with miscarriages for the last three years. After our consult with Dr. Toma, (who is quite aggressive, BUT as he put it, I know people like you have waited already and Im not in the business of making you wait longer.) Carla has been at our beckon call for the last three months ENDLESSLY reassuring us and answering EVERY question, even when asked several times over. They worked with us by using our insurance to every advantage and we have paid out of pocket, but its nothing I would deem excessive. We are now nearing 12 weeks pregnant and about to be released to find an OB. If I had one complaint, it would be that these amazing medical professionals do not actually deliver.
I am very happy with my experience at NCCRM. I was perfectly happy with the Doctor and the nurses. I had my tubes untied in June 2013. I had them dye tested 6 months later and they were both open. I found out I was pregnant in November 2014.
Hi everyone!! Just wanted to share a little bit of my experience, I decided to tied my tubes back in 2013, Never thought that I was going to think to have another baby, or even think that’s it was possible.... well...in Jan 2020 me and my fiancé decided to try to have a baby, So started doing my research until I found Dr. Toma. In Jan 27/2020 had a reversal surgery, my experience at the clinic was excellent, surgery when well, and two weeks ago we found out that I’m pregnant (4 weeks ) did my blood work as it was indicated and the HCG level increases how it supposed to, we are happy !!! Excited.... want to thank first God and then Dr. Toma and his staff for making this possible !!! Thank you so much !! God bless
I went to NCCRM and had an Essure Reversal done January 2017 by Dr Toma. The staff and nurses were all great work with! I just had my miracle baby girl October 2017. Our family is extremely greatly to Dr Toma, and everyone at NCCRM.
If you want to get pregnant put on your big girl panties and do what Dr. Toma say. Hes the best and hes very knowledgeable. From the time you walk through the door, greeted by the receptionist to the nurses in the back you will feel like family. Everyone knows you by name. They celebrate with you, they really care for their patients. Dr. Toma, Carla, Forlita, Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Brenda, and Candace all withhold a special place in my husband and I hearts. Im grateful for everything you are doing in your facility and pray God continues to bless each of you. Thanks for everything, I will be in touch. My due date is April 26, 2018 stay tune for pictures and a visit.
The entire staff was so friendly and amazing during the entire process. They all made me feel very comfortable and took my concerns seriously. I could never say enough wonderful things about the staff. Only on month 1 of trying to concieve but Im confident it will all happen in Gods timing. A big thanks to everyone at NCCRM for amazing treatment and care.
Nccrm has been a great help to my husband and me. They listen to my concerns and make sure I am very well taken care of at my appointment. Though I live almost an hour away, I wouldnt prefer anyone over them. They make you feel accepted and like family ! Cant wait to announce our first pregnancy through you guys!
So far my expierence with NCCRM has been wonderful. It was stress free to schedule my surgery and the consultation part was great. I think its a great idea to actually meet the doctor and the staff in person so he can address your concerns. Everyone in the office was absolutely wonderful. 💗
My tubal reversal was May 2017 I had a very long recovery I dont know what happened but I feel like something wasnt done right. Went back for my follow up appointment and my incision was still opened and I didnt feel good. Dr Toma came in and looked at my incision and said it was fine and left out. Crazy right? Well I just felt like something wasnt right. So they sent me on my way. I tried going to another Dr. but they wouldnt see me saying I should go back to where I had my surgery. I gave up and just nursed myself back to go health. Well couple months past and I couldnt get pregnant. Had the test to check to see if my tubes where opened and found out both tubes were blocked. I cried my heart out. All the time and money I spent was a waste of time. Now I feel like the surgery wasnt done correctly. Our only hope now is IVF
Was originally hesitant to post my review, as you all well know going to a specialist like this isnt something you freely share. Well my wife and I went in for a visit, not the first time we have been to a dr for this. But the first time we came to NCCRM. Right away it was different. You kind of get the sense that you are in the right place as soon as you walk in. Every single person on staff that we interacted with seemed to generally care about what we had to say and never once felt rushed. Dr Toma was our Dr and lets just say, when this man speaks you can feel the confidence and care right away. We finally found the right Dr!
Im kind of shocked to see all the negative reviews. My experience was rather nice, we drove 8 hours to NCCRM. Everyone was polite to me, I didnt feel out of sorts and to the best of my knowledge they were polite to my husband as well. When talking to Dr. Toma, he got straight to the point. He explained success rates and what have you. Going in, we didnt even know how much tube I had remaining. After the surgery I woke up and was ready to get up before my IV was finished. I only cramped like I was on my period. I felt decent for someone whod just went under the knife. Dr. Toma told me that the surgery went great, my tubes were put together... I had a remaining 6 cm on both sides. He even shook our hand and wished us luck. There wasnt a single rude person there that day. I had my consultation, ultrasound, and surgery all in the same day. I felt ready enough to make the journey back home right after my surgery. The only thing I had to take for pain was advil the whole 9 hour ride back. The only time I needed my pain meds was when I got up the next day, after that it was easier to deal with. I did attempt to call and speak with someone a couple days ago because I have been fully active since my surgery. I find it easier to deal with pain if you dont sit for long amounts of time. ... in doing so, I strained my stomach and was fearful of tearing my tubes apart. I still havent gotten a call back. I wouldnt mind being able to have a follow up with the nurse to ask her things I may have forgotten after coming to myself. (being so anxious to go home) Also, I wish they had something on their site that gave people more info on what to expect after surgery or a place for patients to come to with their concerns like Ive seen with other practices. Other than that, I have no complaints Im hopeful that we get our baby weve been wanting for so long.
NCCRM was absolutely amazing. From the moment you walked through the door Brenda made you feel like family starting your appointment off with ease. I cant say enough good about Carla and Folita ! They truly made the experience comfortable and as relaxed as can be! Thank you to the whole staff for making my ivf dreams come true! Due Nov 19
I would recommend NCCRM to anyone for fertility. Fertility is definitely one of the hardest things that a couple can go through and Dr. Toma will do everything possible to get you pregnant! We went to NCCRM because my first clinic made decisions based on your chances of getting pregnant and we did not have a say in the decision. When we saw Dr. Toma he immediately said I will give you all of the facts and % and then it is up to you as a couple to decide what you would like to do. What I like about him is that he did all of our testing quickly and was very direct about our options which we both really appreciated. I have read some that say he is not friendly and that is just not the case. We wasted a lot of time at our first clinic and my clock was ticking, so I did not have time for someone to just tell me what I wanted to hear. I had 6 fibroids removed by him and the last clinic did not even tell me I had a fibroid the size of an eggplant! One might want to know that! After healing we did IVF and are now pregnant!!!!! I am so glad I found Dr. Toma and NCCRM.
They explained the procedure (ligation reversal) very clearly, and the nurse before and after the surgery was amazing! Incredibly caring and let me talk throughout the wait time. I appreciate you all so much!
Dr. Mulvaney did my reversal on April 1, 2016. I found out i was pregnant on August 4th, 2016 and had my son Maddox on April 6, 2017. I have also had a daughter Camilla on Nov. 29th, 2018 and also a son Silas on Jan 27th, 2022. So thankful for NCCRM and being able to give my husband 3 children of his own!
Dr. Toma and the NCCRM clinical and operations staff are class act medical providers and stand as a strong support system for me as an out of town patient. After previously seeing two physicians over a four year period, Dr. Toma was the first to diagnose me with the cause of infertility and led me to a successful round of IVF on the first cycle. He continues to treat me in order to reach the ultimate goal.
Going to Dr. Toma was the best decision. They explained everything several times before they started and took great care of me. My nurse was sweet, nice, polite and helped me so much.
Communication? Not from this place. From all the reviews I can tell they do tubal reversal well, but dont expect any kind of expert level communication from the staff. They forgot to email to book a surgery shes been waiting forever for, then booked it with someone else entirely without telling her, and added an additional ultrasound to the pre-op with no communication. Well be going elsewhere.
I have my procedure done September 21 and got pregnant October then ended up having a miscarriage in November it took me a year to get pregnant again just end up with another miscarriage but overall I had a very good experience with everybody within the building
I do not recommend going here. The staff that we had contact with was unprofessional. They were not clear on instructions and everything was extremely rushed even though it was only us present. Once your surgery is over, they rush you out and are extremely hard to get in touch with following up if your an out of town patient, and the attitudes when your requesting your own records is ridiculous. Youll get told to email to addresses that dont work and transferred to disconnect. The physician will perform your surgery but untieing your tubes is not the same thing as making sure they work properly so... I would suggest anouther place unless you wanna waste your money.
We traveled from michigan and When I arrived for my pre surgery appointment the facility wasn’t even open at the time it was scheduled we had to find an open door then go in and search the back offices for someone to assist us and wait forever! Once that was figured out the surgery went fine but then after we traveled home four weeks after surgery I had one infection then two weeks later I had another even worse infection and now it’s been four months and still no pregnancy so I have an appointment scheduled in my home state for a test with dye to make sure my tubes are even in working condition!
This place is awesome, the nurses are really friendly they are always helping us and answering questions, I had my tubes tide 11 years ago and 4 months from my surgery I am 6 weeks pregnant love this place I recommended 100 times.
I had my surgery done by Dr Toma on 6/19/17 he was amazing the staff was great. They made sure that I was comfortable and understood everything. They answered all silly and major questions we had. They treated us like family we laughed and joked but most of all everything went great. Thanks again Dr. Toma and staff yall are the best of the best.
After two cycles of IVF with two other clinics and one miscarriage, we had no answers. At our very first appointment with Dr Toma, he ordered multiple tests that were never mentioned by our other providers and scheduled a laparoscopy. He discovered and corrected 3 factors that most likely contributed to our loss and we continued with an IVF cycle at a fraction of the price of our first two. I’m now 13 weeks pregnant with our baby boy and we are eternally grateful to Dr. Toma and the amazing team at NCCRM.
Succesful Essure tubal reversalMy Wife Jailyn Rodriguez and I came from Ny and had her surgery on june 9th. We had a rough start getting there, we didnt have the right address so we were running late. but when we got there the whole staff was locked out of the building standing outside so we werent the only ones late lol (gods fate) Kelly was really nice and so was the rest of the staff. Thank you Dr.Toma/liwan its been over a month and Jailyns healing great. The medicines have her stools backed up, and her hormones and cravings are off the wall. She craves certain foods that she didnt eat before, Her sense of smell is on high alert. Shes like a completely different woman. Thank you guys! We would definitely recommend to someone! Much love Riko from NY
We are still currently undergoing IUI treatments for our first child. The staff is wonderful! They remembered us even after a year break from treatment and have always made us feel like a priority!! Carla is the best, she always answers my questions throughly. The only thing I wish was different was seeing the doctor more often just to get updates.
Please find elsewhere to go if you care about professionalism. You call all day and no answer. I left several messages over the past few weeks and have yet to receive a response. I had my tubal reversed and at this point, Im not sure if it was successful or not. I honestly wish i went to the clinic called personal choice. I had a friend to have her procedure done there and i envy the level of professionalism she received from them. Its been almost a year and no pregnancy or answers. The prices may be lower here, but remember, you get what you pay for.
I had a tubal reversal in June 2017 after 10 years tied! It took a few years, but we successfully had our son in September 2019 with the additional help of IUI.Only 7 months after his birth, we are expecting our second son in January 2021. He was conceived naturally. Thank you NCCRM for making this possible.
Had a very good experience. My tubal reversal surgery went great and staff was very helpful and friendly. Surgery was 12/18/23
My husband and I scheduled our surgery within a week of actually having it done. The service was short and sweet. I followed up with my doctor afterwards and never heard from them since. I have a OBGYN appointment this week and prayerfully we’ll be new parents!!
Pros: Good donor program, Brenda at reception is wonderful, excellent Lab operation, & Dr. Toma is a very professional and competent surgeon.Cons: Appointments are going to take up most of your day so plan accordingly, when they occur it will be brief and a lot of work is delegated to the nursing staff. They seemed overwhelmed much of the time.NCCRM is a one man operation (Dr. Toma) that is running at capacity. You will have to manage the process and be prepared to initiate action when things dont go as planned. Do yourselves a favor and get educated before making the emotional, financial, and time commitment.
I am at a loss for words. I had a consult and discussed options. I was interested in the shared donor program -which was explained to me and on the website. I was told that I had to have a saline ultrasound first. I did not want the procedure because I knew that it would be painful, but I agreed in order to move forward with the program. After the procedure, which was every bit as bad as I expected I sat down with the financial planner. I even asked during the procedure if I could go ahead and pay so that the payment would fall on this tax year. The financial staff told me that the agency does not do the shared donor program. At first, I assumed she was just mistaken as I had been told about this program during my consultation AND reviewed it on the website. My family did a full cost analysis and decided that this was the route that we wished to go. She told me that I was wrong and it was not on the website or offered. I pulled out my phone and googled it and showed her. She then told me it was google and not their website, so I clicked the google link/summary and went to the website where is was clear as day. She then said that I probably needed to refresh my browser (clearly not relevant) and that it was not there, despite literally looking at it.I asked to speak to the Dr. again, as this was a program HE told me about in the consultation. She stepped out and returned telling me that he was busy. I asked her to have him call me. I have not received a return call.I feel violated and victimized. I walked in prepared to accept the unwanted procedure to move forward with a 10,800$ program except only after the procedure I was told the only program available was 18K as well I was gaslighted and told that what I was literally looking at (and showing them) did not exist.I am without words.
Dr. Hoffman was very knowledgeable and personable. I loved the fact that he took the time to educate my husband and myself on the process. The front desk and nurses were very welcoming and friendly. NCCRM has made the decision for us very easy and I would advise anyone seeking IVF, IUI, or tubal reversals to seek their business.
I have 3 teenage daughters, my last one was 2009. I had my tubal ligation the day after I gave birth. I had my tubal ligation reversal done on july 7th 2021. Today is August 26th 2021 and I am 3 weeks pregnant. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. Thank you so much Dr. Toma!
We decided after our second child to have my tubes tied because needless to say pregnancy and myself do not co-habitat well. I never wanted to endure that ever again. Yet, after my second daughter turned five years old, I decided I wanted one more child to complete our family. I started researching facilities and NCCRM had the most reasonable price, so I decided to choose them for the procedure. I regret that decision. The only reason I am giving two stars is because of Barbara the reception lady, and the fact they actually did the procedure -- I hope. I will know if I get a positive pregnancy test. After I paid my deposit the representative said she would email me information about pre-op procedures etc. I never got those instructions. Even, after I paid the last payment and asked for instructions as to how to prepare for surgery, NOTHING. I literally had to research everything on the web the day prior to get prepared. So, my husband and I arrive at the office the day of my surgery and the nurse literally calls my name from way behind the desk. She tells me to come through a door. We walk though the door and are pretty lost because she is not waiting for us. We are just walking by doors and rooms wondering where is she. When she does finally come to us she starts immediately asking me questions. She does not greet me, introduce herself or put my mind at ease. As she asks me the questions she acts like a drone just typing stuff and not making eye contact. She walks me to a small room that looked like a psych ward and told me to sit in a chair, and my hubby had to sit on a very uncomfortable stool. Their was two other patients in there and the only thing that separated us was curtains. We were so close to the other patients and families that my husband had to kept saying excuse me to the people next to us. The curtain was seriously almost in my lap. I was cold, so she handed me blanket. She did not take the time to unfold it or help cover me. A few minutes later a patient that was just leaving surgery was wheeled directly beside me - oh excuse me, their was a small curtain their that separated us. SMH. She was moaning in agony and pain. It was very distressing for me. The nurse or whoever she was just kept saying breathe and then she would walk to me and ask more questions. It is not calming for a pre-operative patient to hear the discomfort of a post-op patient. Little, did they know I am a nurse that has worked in pre/post op. As if that was not enough the doctor came to tell the lady beside me that her surgery went okay but she just had the bare minimum tubing needed to possible get pregnant. Basically, her odds were small. I am sure that poor lady did not want to hear that, and I know she did not want us to hear that especially since she was still in severe pain. Well, the horror story does not stop there. You know most places speak about how the surgeon comes and answers all your questions. Not. My surgeon came by and said oh yes, I remember her. What a great conversation - right.? So, after I walked back to surgery I awoke to my husband not by my side. Guess why? It took them forty minutes to give him the prescriptions I would need upon waking for pain. They told him right before I went under anesthesia they would hand him the prescriptions so he would have plenty of time to go and return. He told me he finally had to ask somebody for the copies so he could rush out. When I did wake, the doctor came in again for another surprisingly short amount of time while I was still groggy and said, hey Sleepy head, your tubes are 10 cm, which is good. That was it, and he was gone. Now, lets put the cherry on the cake, they discharged me within an hour. I had not voided, I could barely hold my eyes open, and my right leg was numb. My husband literally had to lift me into the car. I have read all the other requirements for post-tubal ligation discharge and they failed. I was so disappointed in the entire ordeal. I should have spent the extra money and visited the practice in Cary. Terrible experience.
When talking about NCCRM this place was absolutely amazing! Dr. Sameh Toma was my physician and I adore him! I started attending this facility back in May of this year (2014). This was after I was initially seeing another fertility clinic but something kept making me think I should switch. Sometimes you have to listen to your gut and this time I did. It was one of the best decisions Ive ever made! Dr. Toma always greeted me with kindness and is very thorough in his work. His IVF nurse Carla is also an absolute joy! It is rare to go into a facility or office and the entire staff remember your name from your very first visit but this staff did just that. The only time I had to tell someone who I was, was the first time they saw my face. After that I have always been greeted with smiles, hugs and just overall kindness. Everyone stays positive the entire time. They will give you whatever news you need to hear straight up but they will always have a plan. The reason I had to attend a fertility specialist is because I was diagnosed with blocked tubes in October of 2008 at the age of 21. In April of 2014 I had them removed as they were filled with fluid that diminished my chances of successful IVF treatment. After that is when I started coming here. I am so ecstatic to say I am now 10 weeks pregnant with twins after my first round of IVF!!! Due April 16th, 2015. That is a blessing in and of itself! They know what they are doing here. I would recommend ANYONE looking for a treatment center that will treat them like family and keep the momentum going until you reach your dream to come here. Today was my last visit there as I am moving on to a regular OBGYN and it was SO bittersweet. I will miss everyone there and told them all so. I will back after the birth! With faith, prayer, positive energy and the staff here at NCCRM I believe anyone can achieve that moment of being told Congratulations, youre pregnant!
The staff and Dr. Toma where very nice and knowledgeable. Clean and taking all precautions for covid. Unfortunately, I was unable to conceive but that had nothing to do with them. My eggs were from a previous procedure at a different clinic. If I was able too Id go back to them and try again. I definitely recommend any who have to go the fertility route to chose NCCRM.
The office was extremely helpful with all of my questions and quick to respond with an estimate and surgery date. When arriving we were given detailed instructions about the procedure, recovery and medications. The staff was professional and kind.
I came here for a tubal reversal due to complications of having my tubes tied. I was very hesitant at first, but once I got there and began the process I realized everyone was very kind and professional. They don’t make you feel like another patient. They treat you with respect. I would go back again.
I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. Other fertility clinics had told me I had no chance of having children (this is after $10000 worth of procedures, of course). Other practices never took the time to diagnose the problem...Well, I decided to give it one more shot with NCCRM. It was the best decision I ever made. Within 2 weeks, Dr. Toma was able to pinpoint the problem and fix it, giving me a chance of conceiving. After IVF and FET, we now have two beautiful children. The nurses were always supportive and kind (IVF is an emotional process as well as I had a miscarriage). Dr. Toma was always direct and engaged. I will never forget him and my husband hugging and jumping up and down when we saw the heartbeat for the first time (well maybe Dr. Toma was being jumped up and down :) ). You can trust what he tells you, even if it is hard to hear. I went to him because a friend told me Dr. Toma can get a tree pregnant. Our little family is proof that that clinic can work miracles and I am forever grateful for the gift they have given me!
The quality of service they provide is mind blowing. With the help of Dr.Toma we formed a plan that would be best for us to start a family. My Wife and I are expecting and we could not be more excited! Our only problem we could think of is the wait time to see the doctors, But we are expecting twins in the summer so we cant complain to much! Thanks Dr.Toma and all the staff that helped us with our journeyThe Rausch Family
The staff at NCCRM were amazing! They make you feel right at home. Taking care of you the right way and so professional! I really felt like they were my family! I highly recommend them to anyone!
This is the daughter of Jocelyne Innocent and I just wanted to say that her experience was exceptional. We want to thank the whole staff and especially Ms. Kelly for making us feel comfortable from the second we walked in. We want to thank Dr. Toma for the marvelous work . Words cannot express our genuine love and gratitude. We thank y’all from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
Dr. Toma, Carla, Joanna and everyone else at NCCRM were all amazing. I follow closely medical research myself and I can see how Dr. Toma definitely uses the latest and cutting edge methods. There are no words to thank them enough!!!
I do not recommend this place. They have the worst customer and patient service. They will rush you to schedule appointments and collect your payment, but when you have questions and have to speak with a nurse, nobody answers you or call you back. I am extraordinarily dissatisfied and disappointed. I can’t believe people like this work with such vulnerable clients and don’t give the empathetic service they need. Definitely the worst clinic I have ever been to. I went to Duke Fertility Clinic, and they never will treat a patient like this. It is a shame.
I am absolutely thrilled to have been seen at NCCRM!! My doctor, Dr Mulvaney, my nurses, the triage staff, phlebotomist, the office staff who always had a warm greeting, billing, I mean the entire team made me feel as if I mattered, not just another dollar. All my concerns and fears were addressed in a timely manner. Im not just saying this because we were successful because that comes at the end of the process and I can say without hesitation, the process was a caring one! Thanks to all of you at NCCRM!Claudette Smith-Brown
Not impressed. The phone staff was very friendly, but Im not impressed overall for their medically billing craziness. We came in as a referral for lab work and I called our insurance company in advance to confirm NCCRM was in network and that the specific lab work we needed done was covered at 100% AND asked NCCRM when I made the appointment over the phone that they accepted our insurance. They indicated that wed need to file our own claim bc they dont file insurance on our behalf, which was fine; we can handle paperwork. Turns out NCCRM is covered, but NOT that lab that they do the labwork through... really?... so we ended up having to pay the entire bill out of pocket and not be reimbursed for it after filing the claim w the insurance company.
Dr. Sameh K. Toma is without question the best surgeon in the US to go to for tubal ligation reversal. However, with that being said In my experience it’s better going here if you’re in state or are willing to fly out multiple times. If like me you’re flying from out of state and going through both the consultation and surgery in the same day, it has a very rushed and impersonal feeling.
This is my first review I have ever written. I am only writing it because I would just like to save women from the tragedy I went through. I went in for a tubal reversal surgery and came out worse than when I went in. Once they performed the surgery, the doctor came out and told my husband the surgery was unsuccessful and immediately attempted to sell us IVF WHILE I WAS STILL IN RECOVERY! He told me since he was unable to do the surgery, we could get IVF at a “discounted rate”. I was then rolled into the financial office and told to sign the financial paperwork for IVF so they could hold my “discounted rate”, while I was still recovering from anesthesia. I had no idea what I was signing! After the surgery, I started having stomach pains. I eventually went to the hospital and saw a general surgeon when I was getting tested for an unrelated back surgery. He informed me that my organs were not put back in place correctly during my previous surgery (which was the tubal reversal). I took the documentation to a lawyer who did agree that this is MALPRACTICE. I am currently still seeing doctors now, and recovering from the surgery which helped to correct what was done to me.
It was a pleasure to work with Dr.Toma, and his staff. I was able to speak with with Dr. Toma he was very straight forward with his findings and assesment of my operative report. I was a candidate for tr.The surgery was a success. I experience some pain afterwards, but its not uncommon. The procedure is similar to a c section. So I was familiar with the pain I felt afterwards Overall I chose nccrm because of the experience that Dr. Toma has in tr. However, for those who are seeking tr, I would recommend nccrm.
