They have no time management how do you get so many patients when you have so little hours in the day, it makes no sense. I just don’t get why they don’t understand time management. Why would you book yourself up to where you’re making people wait 3 to 4 hours for one thing, it makes no sense even for people who are picking up it makes no sense. I learned some time management it’s Ignorant.
Currently, I am sitting in the waiting room and I was told it would be 15mins it’s now 35mins and they have seen three people who came in after me — one didn’t have an appointment and the other two had later appointment than mines. I’m not sure what the issue is but NOT good customer service practice. All of these patients were not black cause for concern!!! Way to help the “community”I will say the receptionists were very polite and helpful with the check in process.
The wait is ridiculous! There is a reason why people schedule appointments. Appointment time 7:30, it is 8:30 and still waiting .
Usually I love this place but lately they are a waste of time. Twice now I had to reschedule an appointment. I drove up here anyways today and they said the provider isnt coming in so they are short handed. Do NOT have appointment options available on the DocsApp if yall dont want to work. I dont care for the excuses. People have things to do and cant always reschedule their days because you guys dont want to work but stay canceling appointments. Thats very inconsiderate! Other than that this is a nice facility.
Came in for the first time for an implant removal with an appointment on a Tuesday afternoon. After checking in and doing insurance stuff I waited for about 10ish min before I was called in. Did vitals and more questions, then waited another 27 minutes or so (yes, I was counting after reading reviews). After that it was pretty smooth, no complaints there.I think even with appointments, if youre coming here just expect to wait some time. I feel like I may have gotten lucky to not wait so long like others have mentioned. Staff is okay, could be a bit more friendly/welcoming - Thinking of the nurse who saw me. PA was really sweet.I get it, non-profits are often short-staffed and PP experiences its own difficulties with funding, but clients also need/deserve a certain level of care and response times.
Worst location. I come to my appointment early and i wait until my appointment time. Then Im told my provider will be arriving an hour late. This is the second time this is done to me. Hate this place. Unprofessional staff! ZERO STARS!!
Starting off with: good services for birthcontrol pills and health checkups.HOWEVER: Got a birthcontrol implant done in my arm at this facility with the impression if I need to get it out, they can get it out. They did try, but was unsuccessful finding it blindly in my arm (didnt hurt). They referred me to get it done at another facility which is more equipped aka requiring an ultrasound machine to find my implant. Mind you, this was a huge hassle organizing it yourself with the idea that your insurance is paying for this visit and the previous attempt. Go to a facility that is equipped to put in and take out implants
I’m not going back to this place. Yesterday I had an appointment for implant removal, I waited for like 45 mins and they called me. The girl that was supposed to remove my implant looked like she just woke up, she looked not clean AT ALL.. after about 20 minutes trying to take the implant out she gave up, I was bleeding and she kept saying “it looks like it’s a lot but is not ok” hurt me horribly.. walked out of the clinic crying. And.. I still have the implant in my arm.
Helped my brother schedule an appointment here as his current insurance expired. Trans man, just needed a new prescription for testosterone. Planned parenthood website asks regarding pronouns, gender identity and bio sex on appointment form. Location dead named and used incorrect pronouns multiple times on his call as well as made fun of an apparent accent (we are born and raised here)
The wait time to get seen is ridiculous. Just expect a 2 hour wait. Don’t expect them to put a rush on it, they gaslight you and keep saying another 20 minutes. Even if you rescheduled, it will be the same for another day. So many people complain of this, but no solution.
Absolutely splendid. Im baffled by the other reviews, perhaps they used to have issues but now it was fantastic. So be skeptical about new negative reviews, for the most part. As a trans female patient i felt very nervous coming in and they did everything they could and beyond to help me feel better. Including water and a snack because i was dehydrated. Absolutely fantastic from my perspective, they deserve more stars.
Horrible service, receptionist is rude and unprofessional with bad attitude and chewing gum, they are always late, we got here 20 minutes before Appt and they were late 35 minutes, yet if your late 5 minutes they cancel on you. Very bad service, rude employees and unprofessional… planned Parenthood needs a revamp on employees and serious management that disciplines and fires them if uncorrected. This is customer service after all.
Very bad experience waited in line for 25 minutes made in time for my appointment, I came Tuesday and made appointment for today, and guess what they told me it was cancelled without any notice no text no email because of short staff and I live 20 miles away, so they said I had to reschedule because of there short of staff, the nurse was there they ask her if they could add she just said No I was there!! They still had time they closed at 5:30 I did not believe the negative comments, because Tuesday was different.
Clean and well kept! The waiting room is comfortable and modern. The employees were super kind, funny and eased my nerves. David and Ashley, thank you! They talked in ways I could understand, which is always important. I will definitely come here again!
This is the third time I’ve gone in there and something has gone wrong. I’m all for giving people the benefit of the doubt but after this third time I’m tired of this spot. Every time I make an appointment something goes wrong. Last time I made an appointment, sat there for an hour and then was informed it was going to be another hour until I could be seen. This time I drove all the way over there for them to tell me that it was a Skype appointment. How can I take a Skype appointment if I was going for a Plan B? I had to end up paying or wait two hours because they messed up my appointment once again. Awful experience.
I’ve been their customer for a while and they’ve been more than kind with me. Everytime i call theyre extremely helpful and never rush me, up until today i called to make an appointment. Melody talked to me for about a minute and acted like she couldn’t hear me and hung up. I called again and after i told her I HAD PREVIOUSLY CALLED and she hung up on me once more! This is unacceptable and awfully rude/ unprofessional.
Ive never waited as long as I Did at this place, at any PPH IVE VISITED EVER!!! Ive been going to PPH since I was a teenager, the staff could have least checked or updated me. They said nothing for a whole hour and 15minutes, while I was in examine room. I left, I was there 2hours plus, and one lady asked if I want to reschedule!?? I will but NEVER at that location. El Cajon is far BETTER and RESPECTFUL with peoples time!
Was basically going just for a check up. Had an appointment. Showed up 10minutes early & they had me waiting over an hour just to be seen! Ridiculous! I walked out.
I went in and they found a mass growing outside my uterus that had grown A LOT, I got referred to an imaging place almost 2 weeks ago and STILL no results. It’s been almost 2 months since this was found and no answers. Makes me feel like they don’t care about my health at all!
Every time I come to this location is a long wait even though you have an appointment. To top it off of it their not on top of what their doing. So annoying. Waited an hour for them not bein. Able to attend me.
I have long been an advocate for Planned Parenthood dating all the way back to my college days up to recently participating in a Womens March supporting Planned Parenthood.Having not yet established a medical home in Chula Vista, I made an appointment for my annual exam at Planned Parenthood. When I checked in, I was very surprised to learn that this agency that accepts federal funding does not accept Medicare insurance and therefore I would have to pay by cash or credit card for my exam.As expected, when I entered the examination room a medical assistant took my vital signs. When I asked what they were, as a retired RN I was shocked when she said my BP was 69/30 and my pulse was 150. When I remarked that those vital signs are extremely outside the normal range and that I should be bleeding somewhere., she replied, Dont worry, well take them again. I waited anxiously for 20 minutes before another medical assistance came in. When she asked me how I was, I asked, Did you see my vital signs the other assistant took? Her reply was Yes, those cant be correct. and proceeded to retake them. This time they were 162/ 95 with a pulse of 84 which was higher than usual. We both agreed to wait and try again in another 5 minutes. The third time my BP was 134/78 with a pulse of 72. Still a little higher than usual but within normal range. After another 15 minute wait the Nursing Practioner came in. When I discussed my concern of some postmenopausal spotting and saying I would like to have a Pap smear done, I was told that the new protocol is not to do Pap smears on women over 50 if they havent had an abnormal Pap smear. Instead, she would write me a referral for an pelvic ultrasound. After explaining that since I was having to pay for this annual exam, Id like to have the procedure done, she kindly did it and wrote the referral for the ultrasound. When I arrived home and called to make my ultrasound appointment, I was put on hold for 20 minutes. When the receptionship returned to the line, she apologized saying she had called Planned Parenthood because the referral was incorrect, had been left on hold for 20 minutes and that I would have to go back to Planned Parenthood and get a new correct referral. I finally received a corrected referral just after 5pm, over 4 hours from my scheduled appointment and it was too late to call to make an appointment for my follow-up procedure.Clyde Connolly
Place was nice in how they talk, but they messed up an important prescription, with the phone call waiting times being ridiculous and never working for me or the oarmacy techs.
Nice and clean. Friendly staff. There are protesters, at times, on the sidewalk outside the property.
Worst one yetAlways under staffedThe staff is nice while They lie about wait times or how many people in front of u2hr+ wait nomatter what they tell uPlan to be upset n cancel the rest of ur day
Truly kind and compassionate people working here. This resource/center does so much for the community out of the good of their hearts and is willing to patiently help you with much consideration.
Had an appointment at 10am ...didnt get called in until 12pm...still had to wait 45 min in a room b4 I seen anybody...worst ever...waited 3 hours for 15 min of service
Drove all the way over there just to get told to call there 1 888 number… some of the most useless people, not willing to help work there
Ive been coming here for more than 5years and Ive always had great assistance and I feel safe with this location also its very clean and sanitary
Excellent service, very discrete! Have been there several times and everyone has been so nice and professional
Amazing service! I was treated like an actual person and not dismissed like most doctors would have done.
Horrible place to go too they make you waste your time and not even see you unless you pay cash up front! Employees are not properly trained
Always take good care of me wait is long but worth it. they are so nice.
This place is so slow...I had a appointment at 8:50 I walked out 10:45 without seeing the doctor and my Appointment before that I waited 2 1/2 hours....So if I can give a negative stars I would👎👎
Called for 15 minutes straight no answer!! I hung up its crazy ive never waited that long on the phone for any planned parenthood!!
I love how they like to waste our time.
Went in and out under 30 mins, staff is amazing and helpful
The staff is so catty in here
The place was stinky it smells like mold was in there all of 3 min and started to get a headach slow
They are super slow for everything
Waited 2 hours.....
Good service.
Super bad service, I dont recommend it at all 👎 more than 40 minutes to serve us and the receptionist is super rude, not at all friendly, there are super sensitive people in states and their attitude is very unprofessional
