This is the ABSOLUTE WORST Clinic! They never answer the phone, the Dr. doesnt write enough RX to cover until the next appt, now Im completely out and I cant reach these people. I dont understand why this office is even in business! Ive had issues previously with the case work never responding to emails and a host of other issues! People find another clinic for your medical needs!
They are extremely nice and helpful on the phone. There was very little wait before my friend was able to get in, even though we were late for their appointment. It was extra quiet in the lobby area, and when people walked in, the staff didnt talk too loud so I didnt feel uncomfortable overhearing anything. When my friends appointment was done, the person he seen even walked them out, which is a nice change.
Dr. Luong is such a genuinely nice doctor who humanizes his patients. Every single person in this office is also very kind and patient when it comes to handling situations. I never once felt like I wasn’t being taken care of here and appreciate it very much!
I like AHF but this location is an absolute no! For this location to be only open two days out of the week and for only 4 hours they are very slow. Was there for two hours and they had only seen 15 patients. Locations that I go to in Los Ángeles & NYC gets it done like clockwork. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you are on a time schedule or have plans afterwards. There is no telling when you will leave.
This place is a nightmare. They do absolutely no walk-ins. For someone who works business hours while trying to get on my feet from disability, they are trying to get me in for an appointment every 3 months. I am willing to do every 6 months but I will not justify having to miss work every 3 months. If it aint broke dont fix it. I am consistent about taking my medicine and get it refilled on time EVERY time but now the doctor is withholding a medication refill because he hasnt seen me in a while yet the last time I took off work I had the days mixed up because of their switch from the Healthvana App. They were unwilling to let me do a walk in and I couldnt miss another day of work the following week. Their case management is a joke, I got no assistance from them. Withholding meds from someone who takes them consistently, causes more risk of resistance than is necessary. Getting in to see this doctor was way more difficult than it should have been to begin with. Lots of un-returned phone calls and time wasted leaving messages. They didnt even validate parking in the begining and the patients had to pay for parking. The pharmaceutical companies already gouge us enough. So I will go without meds for the first time in 3 years just so I can find a provider who will work with me and my schedule. Uptown Physicians is always ready for new patients and (besides mental health) they can treat the whole person and not just a specific condition.
Went today to get tested at 6pm and was told they were at capacity....mind you their testing hours are 5-9. When I inquired what that meant the rude lady at the window just said...we are just at capacity. There were only three people in there. I would have liked to hear hey we have a certain amount of patients that we are seeing during co-vid or we can only have three patients at a time waiting to get tested during co-vid SOMETHING to explain what she meant by at capacity along with an apology for the inconvenience. Just terrible customer service. The situation could be handled better and that young lady that was working the front window today does not need to work in any establishment that is customer facing with her attitude.
I dont know if other people go to other locations in other states but the Dallas location is horrible. Hours change. No one ever calls you back. Half the time the phone never even connects. The doctors barely do their job and the last time I was in I got treated for something I might or might not have as no test were done an ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks. The healthvana website never works. Ive already got a disease do you really need to make my life more complicated than it is?
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They are open from 5-9 and have only seen 30 people in the first 3 hours, with one hour remaining to see 30 more people. All they do is listen to music and talk and joke around in the testing area in the back INSTEAD OF TENDING TO THE PATIENTS. I waited 3 hours to test only to be told they ran out of one or the test. Just imagine that. I guess you receive this type of service because it is free. This is absolute nonsense.
Its all right I don like my doctor mr long he dosent spend much time with you and explain things as you go I use to like dr. Race but she only works one day a week the reason I fired her was because she wouldnt fill my prescriptions so I would be out trying to call her nurse only to have to leave a voicemail on the up side the fort worth pharmacy pam and Anna are awesome they seem to keep on top of what you need and send it to your home no more going to the pharmacy its delivered to your door step and a portion of your AHF Pharmacy proceeds Go right into helping people. Afflicted with this horrible disease
2 days ago I had an appointment at 10 a.m. I talked with Jerrica on the phone at 8:30 add a court court date as well court is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. no specific time when your lawyer shows up can you can go see the judge.I make it up there in about 10 minutes 845 jerika gets right to it get me to back in about 3 minutes Im sending there she says the doctor be here in about 5 minutes one persons ahead of me where the only two clients in the building. 10 minutes later a female doctor Andrews Im on the phone with my lawyer letting her know that Ill be there Im just not there yet. Dr. Gandhi opened the door and says are you not ready I can see if someone else and Ill come back to you I put the phone down and say no Im ready to repeat the same ridiculous statement twice youre not ready Ill come back to you Ill go see someone else. She closes the door and mid-sentence amazing no Im ready please Im in a rushI was so rude so disrespectful I felt like trash she didnt hear one word that I said and then she closed the door in my face no regards to have urgent I needed to be on schedule. I decided I didnt have time to waste time to be treated like trash before such an important court date so I was just walking out and were going to return after my court date when jerika stop me asking where I was going cuz she could see I looked upset I told her what just happened with Dr. Gandhi. She immediately gets up it says no she can see me now I said she said she has someone else to see and I do not have time to wait for another person, Ill come back after I go to court she said she has no one else there. Therefore she lied, sitting in an office drinking coffeeI love jerika I let her handle the situation I sat in the room then she came back and said shell be right here shes coming right now I told her thank you so much she has the best customer service ever I love Jerica amazing shes prompt shes quick even if she doesnt care always believe that she cares about whatever telling her whats going on with you the best one yet, but moving on.Dr.Gandi comes back in the room, I asked why did she walk out and she knows Im in a rush she very defensive immediately, and stated I dont have to explain anything to you, and also said she would walk out the room and not see me, stated I could wait for Dr. Race for 3 months, saying a lot of mean and nasty unessicay things, so I abruptly cut her off and said you have already wasted a lot of my time, can we PLEASE get to my appointment ........Her exact words everything looks tiny I dont see anything that I need to up to the bank and get your next appointment. I think Ive been here since 2013 ever 20 minute. She had the most disgusting look at her face when she was talking to me every question I had to take a gas I will tell her about a personal issue I was having my a****** she said she would take a look at it and she said theres nothing that she can recommend because she doesnt knowing thing that could possibly help with an open wound on Main she said sorry but I dont know what to tellMost mean rude and disrespectful and inconsiderate person thus far that i have met here at AHF, EVER!!!! I dont ever want another appointment with her again,I love AHF but Im. Loving for another source for assistance, I refuse to be treated and belittled the way I felt I was being treated belittled, especially HIV where I really feel I am not equal you have it for me to have a talk with her and set her down whatever is going on in her brain she cannot treat people like that thank you you have a great day
I have been part of other programs in Dallas and the treatment and care at AHF is by far superior.
The front care staff is rude and doesn’t care that the patients have to PAY to park, you will literally sit and wait 2 or more hours before you are even seen
