I have the best doctor (Dr Graneto); however, the front desk people need attitude adjustments. I had a receptionist tell me I had a co-pay and I told I did not because I have both insurance and Medicare. She said it again, you have a $35 co-pay; I again no I dont. She indicated that she need to talk to someone, thats fine but I dont have a co-pay. I seriously miss the old staff. This rating is for front desk customer service only; in no way does it pertain to Dr G, he is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I go in 3 weeks ago and sit in the waiting room for an hour. Then I go into the exam office and sit another 30 min until I had to leave. They care nothing about being on time. It takes 3 weeks to get another appointment. They tell me they no longer take my insurance but not until Im in the office So its time for a refill on medication that keeps me alive. Im 2 months behind on lab work and now I have to find a new doctor and hope I get an appointment to get my medication before I get sick. They send no notification , nothing telling me they stopped taking my insurance. Now the stress of finding another doctor and the time it takes to find one. After 10 years they threw me out like a piece of trash. Think twice before you use this office. They are always running behind even if you make the earliest appointment. They dont care about you. They only have a 3.4 rating. That should tell you something and after every bad review there is note from the owner that is obviously prerecorded. It says the samething on every review. So Im guessing no one reads these reviews which means their not going to address any complaint. Another reason they dont care about you...I just got on the portal. Their trying to charge me for waiting 1.5 hours until I left. Who have they billing if they dont take my insurance anymore ..
Ive been a patient at Uptown Physicians Group since 2020, and I must say, Im perplexed by the negative reviews. My experience has consistently been among the best Ive had with any doctors office. Unlike many other practices, the doctors here genuinely take the time to get to know their patients. They are willing to discuss multiple concerns in a single appointment without rushing or imposing limits, a quality that is rare and highly appreciated.Their bedside manner is exceptional and truly sets them apart. Additionally, the ladies at the front desk are great, contributing to a welcoming and efficient office environment. They are great on the phone and in person each time I come. I feel very fortunate to have found such attentive and caring healthcare professionals. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
My family’s experience with Uptown Physicians Group was a very good one and totally different than some of the other reviews here. We called to schedule an appointment for my son, who had two broken wrists. We were told to come in the next morning. The front desk staff resolved a scheduling issue so my son could be seen that day. Dr. Rick Ornberg was excellent and took great care of us. He was very attentive, explained everything and took time to answer all our questions. The front desk staff was compassionate and went out of their way to help us. Overall, we had an exceptional visit!
My boyfriend and I chose this place because it was close and LGBTQ+ friendly. While our doctor was very nice, the administration of the place is joke. After getting an initial referral, he had to call for 2 months until it finally got sent through correctly. My PREP referral was declined. The morning of my follow-up appointment, I got an email saying the appointment was canceled as I was showing up. When I got upstairs, I was advised it wasnt canceled, but I got no explanation as to the email. Then I was asked for my insurance, which was no longer on record because they switched to a new system but didnt migrate over my data. I have had to download too many apps and get too many logins, just to receive mediocre medical care.Do not waste your time going here.
Honestly, this is the worst medical group Ive ever worked with. Jason Vercher regularly cancels appointments a few days before its scheduled, probably so he can go on vacation. Makes promises to go over test results with you personally and then just submits them to the portal and doesnt do anything with them or reach out to you. If you can go to another LGBTQ friendly office, you should. They have been difficult with prescriptions, their patient portal, and everything else you can think of.The only good thing I have to say about the practice is that they replaced their front desk employees.
Look elsewhere. Ive been going here for 8 years and I love my doctor. Ever since Prism Health took over, its been downhill. Scheduling is now 2-3 months in advance. It is no longer possible to see a doctor if you have an acute issue. I was always happy with the clinicians, but the front office has made me look for another provider.
Brittny A is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She was so helpful, kind, and understanding with my needing to switch all of my prescriptions to a new mail-in pharmacy! She even called me back to let me know she spoke with my provider and that everything was settled! Brittny A is amazing!!!!
I absolutely love Dr. Taylor Schmidt. He’s is fantastic. He listens, is caring and always responds to any inquiry. I can’t say enough wonderful things to say about him. I have also never had a problem with the office staff.
Ever since prism health took over it went downhill. No customer service, they don’t answer the phones, they cancel appointments and they can be rude at times. I have been a patient of uptown physicians group for over 8 years now and I will be leaving. Prism health must do better! Oh and the turnover is high!
While checking in, I was asked which doctor I was there to see. Once I was checked in, I waited over 40 minutes before going to the front desk to be told that my doctor was on PTO this week and that they had sent me a message in my portal. I called 3 hours before to verify my appointment, received a confirmation email the day before my appointment, and they literately let me check-in. I don’t understand how they would let me check in if they knew that my doctor was on PTO. This was a complete waste of my time, and I will not be returning.
My experience with Uptown Physicians Group has been Excellent!!! I have always been treated with Kindness and Respect and Dr Graneto is one of if not the best HIV Specialist in the whole Texas Metroplex Area. 6 years with Dr Graneto and I hope he’s my doctor for many more years to come
This practice is going through something, and its not good! The front desk staff is not at all friendly and not what you want to see as soon as you walk into the lobby. These ladies either hate their jobs or hate the people this practice treats. I look for this review to be responded to with the same canned response as all the other reviews, but youre not responding with anything that seems genuine. A smile is the spark that ignites an excellent patient experience. Its a simple gesture that radiates outwards into every aspect of medical practice, from the doctors down to nurses and technicians and stays with patients long after they leave the building.
Uptown Physicians Group used to be the best of the best. Great doctors, great staff very responsive and caring. Now they cannot keep doctors their patient Portal is a joke and I am leaving them as soon as possible possible
I used to love this place, but things change. They had a very clunky website that worked. Now they have a new website that doesn’t provide any modern conveniences or is super confusing. If you call in to schedule something the line cuts you off after 10 minutes for you to leave a message… good luck hearing back by the end of the day. Same day appointments… not happening theyre so slammed they can’t handle the volume.
I love my experience with Uptown.. Jason Vercher is very professional, friendly, polite and attentive. If I had to say anything negative about Uptown, it would be that the reception needs polished as they seem clueless at times and not very friendly in most cases. Even the lab connected with Uptown are very polite and professional and typically get you in and out.
All the replies to any complaints are computer generated. Noone reads these reviews. The reply is the same. They could careless about any bad reviews. The replies is signed by the owner. Whos the owner. He wont say because he doesnt want to be bothered... Go somewhere else to find a doctor. Lets see what kind of reply I get from this.
I must agree with most of the reviews here recently. I’m not sure when they changed the front office staff, but it’s been for the worst! What happened to the two men that used to work there that were so kind. Every time I have an appointment now it’s like you’re walking into an attitude war. To top it off, I’ve had an MA contact me and argue with me after she gave my now new physician the wrong information. There has to be change here or things will go to hell fast!
Called as a new/returning patient. I was in their phone system for over 10 minutes, being told there were 9 people ahead of me. Then 8. Then 7. And so on. I finally get told I’m next, only to be kicked to voicemail. Absolutely ridiculous system. And seeing the canned responses to other reviews from the owner has really turned me off on coming back to UPG.
Nice doctors office but don’t show up with your spouse. They are super weird about it and won’t let them go back with you.I have never had this at any doctors office anywhere in any part of the country. Tedious and irritating.
They treat you like a number and a second-class citizen here, I had an appointment and there were (very understandable) extenuating circumstances that caused my primary doctor to have to cancel that appointment. Not only was there no attempt to help me see someone else on that same date and time or anywhere close to it, the solution was to reschedule me for over a month later when I was very clear about symptoms that need to be addressed quickly. When I called in to try to fix the appointment for that day I was met with complete indifference by their office staff member Britney. When I tried to come up with solutions to get in that day I was flat out denied and told I have to come in later that week. I think if someone could roll their eyes while speaking to you that would have been precisely what I experienced. The change in leadership of this practice has made a substantial impact on patient experience, the decline since I started coming here in 2021 is very clear. Dont come here if you want people to help you or make you feel like anything other than a burden.
I chose this clinic for my primary care in 2021. Initial visit was good. Over time, on follow up visits, the attitude and attention to detail on my health maintenance became less and less. The NP seemed distracted and clueless on most visits. I only met the supervising Doc (Dr Lee) one time and he seemed to be annoyed with taking time for an introduction. My last visit in September 2023 was extremely brief with the NP postponing my scheduled lab work “until my next visit”… a week later I learned my NP had left the practice. A week or two after that I was notified that Dr Lee had had also quit. Overall, a very poor experience and I have since found another smaller practice that has time to focus on their patients needs and not just push them thru and collect the insurance money.
They from day one have taken great care of me. I’ve always felt welcome and everyone is extremely friendly. The girls at patient check in are amazing they will definitely go above and beyond to take care of your needs. Plus they’re so much fun. I’ve not had this level of detailed care and inclusive care before in my life. Thank you for making it so far my favorite experience in medical care.
Kristina Schmidt is horrid!-PLEASE READ!!!I WENT A WHOLE MONTH WITH SHINGLES ON MY FACE AND SCALP BECAUSE OF KRISTINA SCHMIDT!!During the M-pox mess.. I got shingles which spread all over the left side of my scalp and face, near my eyes & ears..( which can cause death, hearing loss, & blindness)I had to pay $25 for and online visit for her to tell me to come in.Then I had to pay $25 for also for coming into the office. So thats $50 just to get into the Dr.The M-pox test came back negative almost a week later. At this point I was sobbing from the pain, unable to sleep from the pain.. Kristina Schmidt told me to get over the counter lidocaine.SO after putting the lidocaine on my face, it caused the shingles to spread even further!!I had to do ANOTHER online visit with clueless Kristina Schmidt who told me Ok come back in we will test for M-pox AGAIN!So ANOTHER $50. In the office I was crying again from the pain and the person who took the swab had to go talk Kristina Schmidt into giving me something for the pain.So again the M-pox test came back negative..LISTEN 3 weeks with shingles on my face, 2 M-pox tests.. and IT NEVER OCCURED to you that MAYBE IT IS NOT MPOX??? You should not be a nurse. At the 2nd visit the person took ONE LOOK at my face and said That is shinglesI went A WHOLE MONTH WITH SHINGLES ON MY FACE AND SCALP BECAUSE OF KRISTINA SCHMIDT.I never got ANY sort of medication to treat the shingles infection because Kristina Schmidt refused to believe me when I said that I had not been promiscuous. She REFUSED to believe that I could get something besides M-pox.By the time the shingles was identified it was past the point of being treated.-A whole month of me being out of work.-A whole month of being in horrible pain.-A whole month of being unable to leave my house.-And now the rest of my life with these scars on my face and bald spots on my scalp from one incompetent woman who failed at her job because she did not believe that a person was not promiscuous.I told her repeatedly that I was not active and had not been in years, she kept asking are you sure? are you sure? You havent been out to the bars or ANNNYYTHINNNNGG???I told her NO why would I lie about this??Horrible nurse. When I reached out to them, I was told it was not their fault.
The staff here are always nice, friendly and helpful. I especially want to mention NP, Kristina Schmidt who went out of her way to assist me when I was in a tough spot and needed to be seen. She went above and beyond and is very caring, knowledgeable and professional! I also want to give a shout out to nurse Cynthia. She is one of the nicest and most caring nurses Ive seen. Thank you both!!
I cannot say enough good things about Uptown Physicians! The front desk staff was welcoming and there is a sign posted in the lobby that says to let the receptionists know if you’ve waited longer than 5 minutes for your appointment! It feels nice to know my time is respected. I met with Jessica Chu and she had such a wonderful bedside manner. She was knowledgeable and professional and really took the time to listen to all my concerns. One of the resident doctors came in after my appointment just to introduce himself and ask if there was anything else I needed before I left. V CLASSY. The lab they sent me to for blood work on the floor below was also a great experience. There was very little wait time and the woman who drew my blood was kind and understanding about my aversion to needles. I’ve been looking for months for a doctor that I liked in Dallas, and I’m happy to say I’ve finally found my PCP in Uptown!
Not a physicians group to choose if you need a GP, appointments are unobtainable and for urgent care/general healthcare. If you want true healthcare try BaylorScott&White or one of the hospital systems in the area. They’re only good to push prep for a much higher cost than somewhere that actually does good for the community like Nelson Tebedo.
I stayed with Uptown Physicians (Dr. Lee) for a very long time,I have recently moved to another practice, due to moving to Austin. I was always treated with dignity and respect, from everyone I have encountered at Uptown, and will miss the friends I have made. I highly recommend Uptown Physicians.
Times have changed. I have been going here for primary care for 10 years and had a great experience. They did a joint venture/merger with Prism Health and things started going downhill. They laid off staff including the Healthcare provider I have been seeing for 10 years. I followed him to his new gig. It is almost impossible to get an appointment with any of the doctors who have experience. I am sad to say goodbye, but it is time.
The Uptown Physicians Group is one of the best offices in DFW. My doctor takes time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. Typically, a doctor is quick to turn the room. Not here. An actual conversation about my health occurs. My questions are met with genuine interest and without judgment. They have just changed ownership; it will take time to smooth things out after the transition. But they are moving in the right direction, and I see great things ahead for this office and staff. Thank you for caring and making my health a priority.
This office was so wonderful. I had the best experience. It was a wait to get in, but it was great. The Physician Assistant Jessica Chu was so amazing. She didn’t rush my visit, and she took her time to get to know me. I definitely would recommend anybody to come here. I definitely felt this doctor office is a great fix for me. I didn’t have to pay for parking and everything was super convenient. I didn’t have to wait long. I loved my experience there.
I think they were great! Jessica Chu was the one who was my physician. They were thorough and polite. Went in for an annual check up and it went great. Will update it as more interactions are held :) The place looks clean and the check in and check out processes were very straightforward.P.s. I was a new patient. I got an appointment four weeks from when I signed up. I had to send all my documentation online - which I thought was great I hate filling forms at doctors offices but maybe there is something to be said here about cyber security.
The team at Uptown Physicians Group is awesome!! Dr. Schmidt and Dora are great and always take such good care of me with every visit. Brittany and the office team are always top notch and provide excellent customer service. I actually enjoy going in for visits no matter the issue of the day. I highly recommend the Uptown Physicians Group to anyone seeking medical care in DFW.
To start, I have to say that their patient intake is quite terrible, from a customer service point of view. You fill out paperwork online, then submit it via email. They wont even talk with you on the phone until you do.A week after I submitted, I called for an update. They said I needed to wait a week to hear back. I shared it had been a week. The woman was rude and said if it had been a week I would have heard. I finally got a call another week later.Once I actually got past the front counter, the PA was easy to chat with and was helpful. But that front desk ruins the entire clinic. Finally, Ill note that the patient portal is the worst Ive ever seen. And, since they like to post contacting the office manager, no I wont contact you. You have more than enough evidence in these reviews to make changes. You know the issues, and youll keep getting the reviews until you fix them.
The Drs are wonderful, but the frotn clerks need training on how to treat people. I had an appointment for 1pm and I called about 3 min prior to my appointment to let them know there was an accident at the exit and I maybe a little late. I was placed on hold and then I was greeted by someone who I am certain was raised with no manners in a rual part of town as if she wanted to fight me. I was lucky enough to get passed traffic during the extended hold so by the time she got on the phone to check me I was parking and it was 1:10pm, I stayed on the phone to show them how that I called prior. When the individual called me I was already about to hit the elevators, after she got on the phone and spoke to me like if she was ready to fight UMM SIR YOUR LATE WE WILL NOT TAKE YOU, YOU KNOW WHAT TIME YOU NEED TO BE HERE the tone was passive and her attitue was twice as bad. I missed my appointment, havent been seen due to the distance between my work schedule and lemmon avenue. I have been sick for almost 2 months now and I am afraid to even call up to the place for an appointment. So i went on line just to find a letter from 12.4.23 letting me know i am being charged for that appointment that I did not reschule but I need to pay. Life with HIV is hard, add on all the hurddles life gives I comteplate living with no food and pay this fee or buy food and survive with out seeing my dr is where i am at. The rude woman didnt even want to give me her name and no one has reached out to me in over 2 months after this situation.
I am not even a patient and I already had a terrible experience. I called to ask information for appointments as a new patient and the lady at the front desk was very rude to explain the online process. It is ridiculous that you have to submit all of your information through a site that doesn’t even have valid security certificate. Also, when people is looking for medical assistance is usually because they have need it to be attended soon or pretty soon, not whenever the “new patient coordinator” wants to review your information and call you back, without having any kind of eta. So you might be waiting for 2 days or 2 months. If you are a new patient and looking to feel welcomed in a familiar and professional atmosphere, THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE.
I have received excellent healthcare at Uptown Physicians Group.I have also discovered that they are genuinely concerned about me personally not just robotic-like .Doctor Graneto offers his advice which I dont always follow when it comes to tests that probe into the body.Peter Triporo who is a nurse with multiple areas of specialization is also very good at what he does.I feel confident and happy about the service and the people
Until recently I had been searching for a PCP ever since I moved to Dallas in 2014 before I found uptown physicians group and Kristina Schmidt this year! She makes me feel so at home and at ease, she’s also straightforward and listens to my concerns and worries. It’s refreshing to have a doc that makes me feel important and like my feelings are valued. Kristina went above and beyond to help me with finding referrals to specialists. I am so thankful to have solid support from my pcp!
LGBTQIA FRIENDLY. Which already makes it exponentially better than half the offices in Dallas. I never have had an issue. I’ve been a loyal patient for years. I loved when they added the virtual appt option as well - though you do have to go in for certain prescriptions but that is just the law and to protect medical licenses to practice. I love my provider, they treat me fiancé and I. They listen to our concerns and refer us to the proper specialists if needed.
Had to leave uptown ever since prism has taken over it’s gone downhill. My doctor was no longer in network. The front desk staff is horrible with nasty attitudes. Bring back the old staff
I had my 3rd visit here and probably the last. This review is NOT about my doctor, but rather the front service and the atmosphere of the clinic. My doctor is good and its the only reason I came back for the second and third follow-up. But the atmosphere here is not welcoming at all, at least from my experience. It seems robotic here. Thats my 1st, 2nd and 3rd impression of the place. From personal service experienced, I was turned away by the receptionist and was told that I would have to be rescheduled because I was 13 minutes late. The doctor is busy today, she said. The receptionis didnt even checked with the MD to see if I can be seen. I drove 30 minutes and is 13 minutes late due to unusual traffic. The right approach would have been to check with the MD to see if he can fit me in.
Good care. One of the best places to go for gay friendly docs in Dallas. I felt like my doctor took his time getting to know me and meeting my needs, and actually cared about helping me feel better through a health issue that wasnt easy to identify. Highly recommend.
Such a helpful team! Fit me into the schedule as a new patient within a few days. From the front desk to the Dr. everyone was very friendly and professional. Great environment and super helpful with any questions about medications or prescriptions!
Dr. Taylor Schmidt is one of the best doctors I ever had. He is companioned, and has been addressing all my issues in a professional yet warm fashion. The nurses and staff members are also responsive and friendly. I highly recommend the clinic.
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my doctor here at Uptown Physicians! Im always able to get an appointment on short notice and his staff is very friendly. Dr. Hays is very attentive and always takes time to discuss my medical concerns with me. I wouldnt trust my healthcare to anyone else.
Been a patient since 2017. I work in healthcare also, and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Kind, compassionate providers who understand specific/unique needs of their clients. Utmost care is everyone clear priority! Busy practice because they do a fantastic job! Well worth wait to establish care but if in a time sensitive situation as an established patient (only experience I have as was not time crucial when I established care) they will make time to see you!
Today was my first visit to Uptown Physicians Group - I had previously not been to a doctor in years. Jason & Angel made me feel welcome, comfortable & made sure every question I had was answered. The facility was spotless & easy to navigate to & from. Everyone from the lady taking temperatures at the front door to the person that took my payment, made me feel comfortable.I look forward to seeing them next year!
The customer service is the worst Ive ever seen in a healthcare environment. These people are concerned with one thing and one thing only, and that is $$$$. When I lost my insurance, they did the bare minimum to help me find new insurance. When I didnt get it in time, they denied my medication refill and hung up on me. My new insurance starts in 2 weeks. So I have to go without my meds until then. The sad thing about this, is that it happened once before and I still went back because the new Doctor told me that they would never cut a patient off of their meds. The reception desk didnt allow my call to go through to my doctor. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!Update: The Doctor got my message through the portal and got the refill that I needed. The problem, obviously, stems from the reception desk. Whoever is in charge of this staff needs to be replaced ASAP.Update #2: After close inspection, I realized that my doctor refilled my meds the day before I called in. None of this should have happened. This was a personal attack. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Tried setting up a new patient appointment but the only two options are to email the forms or bring them in person. The email provided does not work. Tried calling to resolve the issue and the receptionist (May) was not very friendly or helpful. She informed me the email I was using is correct, which it isnt because I keep receiving an undeliverable message. The only other option is to bring the forms in person and then set up an appointment after coming in. So two trips and one of them being unnecessary. If you are looking for a new doctor Im not sure I can recommend. They dont seem to be very welcoming to new patients or willing to help them set up an appointment. I hope your experience is better than mine. Needless to say, I will not be setting up an appointment and will take my business elsewhere.
The staff in this office is amazing. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. The care plans between patient and doctors are unique to each experience. The doctors really listen to the patients to try and meet each individuals needs and they are very good about responding to patients with questions and concerns between scheduled appointments.Word to the wise. Make sure you call and cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance because they do have a No Show charge policy, but overall an amazing place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new primary care physician.
I had a scheduled appointment and showed up to be told I didn’t have an appointment. This is after I sent multiple emails with new patient documents attached and never received a call back. I called and made the appointment over the phone and was told to bring in my documents since they could not open them. They told me I can’t see a doctor the same day I drop off paperwork even though they told me I had an appointment. This requires way to much effort to try and pay them for services. I’m going elsewhere. Poor, poor experience. It’s a shame.
Front Desk is some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Impossible to get a hold of anyone, Portal no longer works.
This office must have a horrible front office staff. I filled out all the new patient paperwork and emailed them to get an appointment (per their instructions). A week went by and no one called so I called to make sure they had the paperwork and the receptionist said that they did and stated that someone would be calling in the next few days to set up an appointment. That was two weeks ago and nothing. If it takes this much effort to get an appointment then no thank you!
I established primary care with uptown physicians and been there two times for check up and a procedure, checking in and appointments could not been easier, reception staff are very nice and helpful. Dr Hays though was AMAZING, he truly and genuinely cares for his patients, spent almost an hour with me in my appointment to answer every question or concern I had. It was the first time in a doctor clinic where I did not rushed to leave and felt that it is a true medical practice not a commercial business. Dr Hays was very informative and professional.
I moved to Dallas 4 years ago and was forced to find a new Primary Care Physician due to being in a new city and state. Uptown Physicians Group was recommended to me by a friend and is a fantastic practice that does everything right! When I met my new PCP Jason Vercher I immediately found comfort and trust with him. Those are very important qualities to me, especially dealing with anyone in the healthcare field. Jason’s knowledgeable and a straight shooter!I highly recommend this doctors office!!
Ive been a patient of Uptown for several years. Ive seen multiple NP ans DRs and have always received amazing care!As a member of the LGBT community, I feel comfortable to share all aspects of my health/life without fear of reprisal.I normally see Peter and he is amazing. He is prompt, provides excellent care, and on top of that he is personable, always makes me laugh. If youre looking for a new Healthcare provider, you need to consider uptown!
There are not enough words to describe the excellence and professionalism of Uptown Physicians Group. From the moment you check-in until you leave the office, the staff makes sure that you are taking care of. They make you feel very special and part of their family. But above all, Dr. David Lee and NP Eric Klappholz were very attentive and caring with their patients. The compassion and their commitment to my well-being is remarkable. The BEST DOCTORS!!!.
For over thirty years, have been fortunate and grateful to have Dr Brady Allen as my physician. In my humble opinion, he is the smartest Doctor I have ever experienced. I also want to express appreciation for Dr Lee and his excellent care of my husband, Robert Stewart but I realized as I was leaving the office last week that I have never expressed my feelings and appreciation for the gentlemen at the front desk. I wanted all of Uptown Physicians Group to know how helpful, considerate and efficient Ruben and Tim Bishop have always been to me and others have expressed the same thing to me. I hope you will relate to Tim and Ruben how much I appreciate their services. Thanks Uptown, Mark Carroll.
I loved coming here when I first lived in Dallas and was so happy I could come back. They still remembered me even though I hadn’t seen them in 3 years! That’s impressive. I felt like I was coming home to a family that was excited to see their long lost relative.Thank you for everything y’all do!Note: The only complaint is the new patient intake. I know the office is busy and in high demand but waiting months for an initial appointment is just not common among doctors offices and is a huge turnoff. I did consider going somewhere else just based on that. Sadly my husband is having to go somewhere else because they couldn’t schedule him before end of year :/ just something to think about since everything else is so amazing.
I don’t know where to begin. Whether it’s the rude and unwelcoming front desk staff. Or the PA who is your only option to see. Is arrogant rude and will not look you in the eyes or remember any of your medical history let alone your name (which I’m sure is in the computer they roll around to seem relevant). When you’re forced to communicate through the portal you never get the doctors response but maybe a receptionist or a nurse not sure who it is responding always and only with you will need to set up appointment to discuss this. So whats even the purpose of the portal if you can’t communicate with your doctor. What is required and sent elsewhere to get lab results and never heard from them about the actual results that came in I had to contact them to find out their test results which weren’t good so that didn’t really leave me with a great feeling that they cared about me.
Ive been with this group for several years and havent been disappointed. They are very prompt with their provider/patient correspondence.I used to hate going to the doctor for anything usually due to poor attitude or bad bedside manner but this clinic is actually vastly different than what Ive experienced with others in the past. When Ive had a serious issue they took it seriously, too. They excel in terms of care and professionalism.I qualify for VA care but still choose to go here since UPG doesnt treat patients with an assembly line approach.Plus, theyre right near City Place so theyre in a convenient location for me as well.
I’m so glad I stumbled across this practice. Becoming a new patient was super easy and fast. All the staff I have interacted with have been friendly, respectful, and helpful. I see Vanessa and she provides excellent medical care. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great healthcare provider in Uptown Physicians Group.
New owners, can’t even get an appointment scheduled when I need medication refills. Awful customer service.
Know b4 you GO!This place has amazing doctors, BUT the ladies who answers the phones are always RUDE, nasty attitudes, they have no patience, always trying to rush you off the phone, they are not concerned of the patience. The man that answers the phone (RUBEN), is very polite, kind, always has a 5star attitude!!! will make you laugh, and he has patience to talk to you. maybe he needs to train the ladies on customer service and telephone soft skills.
Uptown Physicians seems to be great…at first. If you need anything from them though, be ready for fast food level of service. Everything takes 3-4 days. Need a refill? That’ll be 4 days, multiple phone calls and a few emails. When they leave you hanging and you express that it’s an issue and quite disrespectful, they’re unconcerned; at that point it’s just the patient being unreasonable for expecting UPG to be accountable to timeframes that they communicate. Good luck. Personally, not a fan of feeling like my doctor doesn’t really care about patients or their healthcare needs.
LGBTQIA2S+ community beware!!!A first I was not going to leave a review, but my spirit cannot be at peace unless I do.Customer service is horrible, and the staff is very unfriendly. Staff conflicts are blatant and not hidden. Instead of helping me, they were too busy talking about another coworker. Hello! I’m standing right here!!! Just because you are wearing a mask does not mean I cannot hear you. The young light skin woman who checked me in at the lab (not the older one with the glasses she was rude) is the only reason I would go back again. She greeted me, was very helpful, and did not look at me as if I did not belong there. And she honored my pronouns!!Management is poor and incompetent. How can you not see this? When I ask to see a manager, no one calls except for that one girl at the desk. My only question is why are the other employees laughing at her as she helps me? Last time I checked your job is to HELP me. Fantema, Thank You! (I do hope I spelled your name correctly) Hang in there I can tell your coworkers do not like you. And If I were you, I’d hire a lawyer. You do not have to tolerate a toxic work environment. If you get nothing from this message just know that we are a joke to them. Enough said!
I have been a patient for quite some time and rarely need to visit but when I do as an minor emergency and after visiting an urgent care center and still needing additional treatment, they are never ever available. The care is great, if you can get in.
Truly the poorest quality of care Ive ever experienced. They rarely answer their phone, send out extraneous incorrect emails, poor portal, and almost imposibe to schedule an appointment. I should have trusted all these negative reviews. Do no go here! (even if they are the only lgbt focused group.)
1st off the customer service is pretty poor and unaccommodating. Ive recently moved to Texas and currently looking for a LGBT PCP. Google reviews lead me to Uptown Physicians Group. After taking the time to print off the new patient form, fill it out, copy my DL and Insurance card and then fax it back to them to establish an appointment. I was met with a gentleman who was decent but with my work schedule I can only come into the office on a friday. They DO NOT accept new patients on Fridays and are unwilling to make any exception whatsoever. After I got off the phone with that office worker I received a call back a few minutes later from the office manager reiterating what the previous guy had said. She was much more rude and short..And here I was thinking that they were going to make an exception....Nope, she just called to gloat. Bravo, what terrible customer service.
I completely agree with all the poor rated reviews from numerous patients below in regards to patient treatment and their attitude, especially their new patients. The doctor who was assigned to me, dr allen, refused to take new patients, I learned that after waiting for days and up to 15min on hold every time I called to find out what my appt status is! Eventhough they had my email, they did NOT email about it! Other doctors who are listed under my insurance dont take new molina patients either. After sharing my opinion about their attitude towards new patients, I was completely denied service, by Tim, with their doctors eventhough my insurance got involved and had them accept me as a patient with dr lee! Oh and to find out that they rejected to privide service, I had to wait for 5 days and call 3 times to finally get the coordinator on the phone to tell me great news! Probably the best thing happened to me anyway since patients left the office uphappy according to the reviews!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
I have been a patient of Uptown Physicians Group since the end of May and I have to say that never have I been more happy. I live in Houston, and was looking for a gay friendly doctor. Since I work in Dallas a lot, Ive heard nothing but good things about Uptown Physicians Group. They accommodated me as a new patient at last minute, and every time I go in, the office staff seems in good spirits. Dr. Brady Allen, my new doctor is knowledgeable, and shows a genuine care about his patients. Im really glad that I found these guys, and have nothing but great things to say about them.Cheers,Sean
One star based on the attitude, demeanor, and disrespect of the black woman with glasses at the front desk you check in with exhibits. When I go to appointments, I feel anxious and not wanting to go because of that woman. Not only that but she makes you wait while she is just on the computer, sighing and ignoring calls. I observed her being polite and talking different to a black man who walked in 1/18/2023.
Really friendly and professional staff. All of my health questions and concerns were answered and explained to me in an understandable way and I never felt like I was being rushed out of the door. The online portal is very convenient too as I can make payments online, view lab results, communicate with my PCP, or make appointments through there. I feel I’ve received good care through them and understand my health better as a result.
One of the WORST experiences I have ever encountered with a doctors office. I attempted 6 times to contact this office (both email and phone) to make an appointment. Sent the required paperwork 3 times and finally spoke to the manager who was less than helpful and loaded with condescending comments. I chose this doctors office because of there efforts in the LBGTQ community, but I sadly report there are less than a warranted to service people with professionalism and respect. Choose another practice for your medical needs.
Wow, I have never felt so at home in a Doctors office. The wait time was 3 minutes maybe less. Peter immediately made me feel as if we had known each other for years. For being a new patient I truly felt like I had been coming to Uptown Physicians Group my entire life. Cannot say how fortunate I am to be a patient here. In addition to a wonderful yearly check up they notified me of two new things I didnt not previously know about myself/had been told incorrectly in the past. Nothing gets past Peter and the Uptown Physicians Group Team. Cannot believe I am saying this, but I am looking forward to my next appointment at the doctors office!
Awesome Doctor office!!!! No wait for hours!!!!!... I really feel every time I go there they take care of me, not just another patient... WHO dose not like Peter Triporo. this guy is AWESOME!! love him, he answer all my questions and give me enough time for my visit. He really cares about his patients.. You are the best Peter!! Thank you so much!!
Peter Triporo is excellent. I always feel comfortable discussing my health with him and his care is the best Ive received in my life. The support teams are friendly and Ive never had an issue in the 3 years Ive gone to Uptown Physicians. Its a welcoming environment and I would recommend them to any person, especially LBGT people.
Friendly, efficient front line staff and nurses. Knowledgeable and thorough doctors in a clean, modern clinic. Blood work and labs are done in-house at the lab down the hall from the clinic - no need to schedule appointments for lab work at alternate locations! From the looks of it, this clinic sees everyone and anyone from all different backgrounds and lifestyles. Great experience and a highly recommend to anyone looking to get established with a new doctor.
Uptown Physicians Group is fantastic. Ive been a patient of Edison Leary with Uptown for over a year and I cannot say enough good things about him. His care and follow-up has been spectacular and is second to none. In fact, when I had a specific concern that made me particularly anxious, he followed up with me every couple hours over the course of several days. He went out of his way to go above and beyond!! This kind of care is very hard to find - but you will find it at Uptown. Edison Leary has been absolutely fantastic as has the rest of the staff there. Ive always been treated very well by the friendly front office folks and the nursing and the medical assistant staff are exceptional. Also, when Edison was out of town, I also had the opportunity to see Marc Tribble and also Eric Klappholz. They were great as well. These guys are genuine and really care. They take the time to talk to you and understand whats going on. You wont be rushed through and no one is watching the clock. Thanks Edison and the entire Uptown team. You guys are the best!
Horrible group. Used to be a patient before covid and then they went virtual. Because of 3+ years of inactivity (hard to do an annual checkup virtually), had to reapply as a new patient. Waited 1.5 weeks never got a response, called in to make an appointment and was told that the doctor I had saw before would need to approve me to take me back as a patient...time to look elsewhere
I have been with Uptown Physicians and specifically Peter Triporo for over 4 years. The attention to detail and the care that I receive are 100% top notch. They are very centrally located in a very nice bldg with ample parking, everything about the group is client focused. I will remain with them as long as I am in Dallas.
Im new to the Dallas area and sent in all the necessary new patient paperwork in hopes of getting with a primary care provider. Its been ten days since I submitted my paperwork and I havent heard back.I decided to give them a second call and I was met with can you hold. When the individual returned to the call, I asked:1. are you still accepting new patients?2. what is the status of my paperwork and getting seen by someone here?He asked for my name and responded that theyre busy and if I dont hear back this week, itll be next week. Im not seeking to be coddled or catered to, but there was no sense of empathy -- no, Hey, so sorry. But were super slammed and well get to you asap. It was honestly a were busy.Looking at the calendar, next week would be about month of not getting any communication from this practice. In the words of Randy Jackson,Thats a no for me, dawg.
Service and care level are acceptable. Set your expectations low and you will be delighted. Very much a Self-Service Station. Front staff and lab techs are great and personable. The only thing I suggest is they dont discuss other patients in front of other patients. Save it for happy hour with your co-workers. I dont need to hear it.
Cold, impersonal, and just plain creepy. Absolutely horrible experience! My doctor closed her practice and I came to Uptown looking for a new doctor. A mistake that cost me time and money. The cold impersonal tone starts at the front desk continues after the mug shot they have you take. Then just gets creepy in the examination room. Clerical errors by the office delayed the filling of my prescriptions for days at the local pharmacy and my three month prescription that was sent to my mail order pharmacy was written only for one month. That cost me just as much as my three month supply. I asked them to only perform test that my insurance 100% covered and now I have a bill from their in-house lab for what my insurance didn’t cover. WTF!?! If your looking for caring competent health care don’t come here!
Ive been coming here for about 4 years now and its been an amazing experience. My PCP, Dr. Hays, is super friendly and accommodating to my needs. The staff is friendly, and Ive never had issues making appointments or communicating with the office. I never have to wait more than 10 min to be seen.
New patient; Great experience. Warm and welcoming reception team from start to finish. PA Jason Vercher made me feel very comfortable and I felt he genuinely cared about my well-being. Convenient lab onsite. I would highly recommend the Uptown Physicians Group.
I was a patient with Uptown Physicians when it was at the other location and in a small space you was treated like you was person. Now at the new location i feel the new staff dont care about a certain type of people. Mistakes have been made and not fixed a couple of different occasions. The only reason why I come here is because I trust and know that Dr. Tribble , Rita and Rueben throughout the years have really made my journey when I was sick so much easier. Thank you so much for your hospitality and professionalism. Newer staff really need to realize that we human beings it should be treated equally.
It was much better before they became part of prism health
Been trying to call them to talk to Practitioners. There is no any response from their portal or via call. Pathetic service to their clients. How can they take us for granted?
I am reminded after scrolling through these reviews how often people write them as a way of attacking someone else and how rarely we take time to stop and write the good things about a business. We especially tend to take for granted the people who are looking out for our wellbeing as though it’s a service we should all expect.I’ve been with this practice for over 8 years now. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I’ve been seen by Dr. Graneto for most of this time and within the past two years I found myself gravitating toward NP Peter Triporo. In both situations I found the quality of care to be excellent as I navigated everything from FMLA paperwork to employer accommodations, and most recently to lose over 190 pounds without the need for surgery. Peter stood by me in every step of that journey and the pride I get every time he sees me and is elated about my progress always motivates me even more.I read some of the nastiness that people have posted and while I may understand the underlying themes - ie calling because you want to make an appointment is very 2001 when the online portal lets you do it in 30 seconds - or complaining about the office manager who yes can be a tad salty but if you get to know her she’s also pretty funny. If your job was to deal with a few hundred people a week plus an entire practice of doctors, especially in this current climate of COVID, I would bet you wouldn’t be farting unicorn glitter either.I have always experienced nothing but respect and warmth from the team of medical professionals here and I’m always proud to say I go to a practice that provides the LGBTQ community of Dallas with quality care.
Dr. Hays and the rest of the staff are fantastic people. Super caring, they ask you the important questions and dont shy away from referrals and other things when needed like some places will. Ive only just started my journey with UPG truly, but the experience has already been phenomenal. I will recommend everyone I know to go to UPG, and I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else. Ive found my physician group!
Was sent another patients info and was charged for extra lab work that wasn’t covered under my insurance. They said they would fix it and they didn’t. Not going back there. Lots of strange back and forth like the classic, “ I appreciate your feedback and I’ll bring that up in our next meeting.” Lol. Not going back there.Update: after much back and forth the bill was remedied so updating my rating.
I went to set up an appointment with them, they asked to fill out new patient docs. I downloaded the docs and they are non-editable pdfs for which I can do nothing at the moment until I get my new printer installed later this evening. I called back and said that I can fill out the docs for them this evening and they will have them in the morning, so I was wondering if I could set up a conditional appointment for the following day. The receptionist said that they legally cannot make an appointment without the forms being filled out. My BS meter kicked in high gear and I asked the receptionist to clarify that it is office policy, not a legal matter. He quickly amended her claim and then shuttled me off. I have zero interest in working with people that have no flexibility. Just think if you were really sick and you needed a front office to work you in. Guaranteed, this office will not.
Ive been going to this practice for about four years now so I must say that I was pretty shocked to read the negative posts as Ive NEVER had any issues. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating; even down to the lab techs. While I cant speak for everyone (and realize that issues may come up from time to time), professionalism and confidentiality has always been visible throughout the office. If youre considering Uptown, take a leap of faith and check it out for yourself. I dont think youll be disappointed.
If I could convey a negative rating, I would. This clinic group is a pathetic joke. They treat patients terrible. The physicians are rarely there, so you are subject to use a PA who is an arrogant, rude dude with a horrible bedside manner. I work in healthcare and this company is not where you want to go for ANY diagnosis. They have no interest in your patient care therapy and in fact, are so afraid of people that might have covid - you cant even walk into the building. Stay away from this operation at all costs. They do not have your interest in mind - only theirs.
I have been with the uptown physician group almost 4.5 years. Dr. Graneto is knowledgable, friendly and great caring physician. The nurses and the staffs member are very pleasant to work with. Highly recommended to anyone who want to find a good family doctor.
I must regretfully say that my first and only interaction with this office was a 2-Star experience. The rep who answered the phone was not rude, but extremely unhelpful. The information he relayed was available online and there was no attempt to assist me further. Maybe this office is more courteous and accessible to existing patients or a certain type of clientele? Im not sure, however I can say I was fortunate enough to find superior customer service from other offices in the area. If youre searching for a new PCP, I would suggest looking elsewhere. :(
This is one of the first clinics I have been to that has never gave me any issues. And I am a pretty demanding patient. They have always been accommodating.Funny thing is the one star complaints on here are predominantly hetrosexual woman which is odd. This clinic is mainly for gay men, more so HIV positive Gay men or others in the LGBT spectrum. I know they will accept anyone, but just seems like an odd choice for your PCP if you are not in that genre. The others complaining about paperwork?? I want my PCP to know everything about me, besides the paperwork I I had 15 years of medical records sent to them when I chose them. Gee.
Dr. Lee is amazing, I have complete faith in him. Online appointments are super easy and if Dr. Lee is out there are plenty of doctors or physician assistants to chose from and I have always been well served. The office staff and nurses are very nice and helpful as well. There is hardly any wait time, they get you right in on time for your appointment. Highly recommended.
This doctors office takes advantage of LGBT patients, knowingly charging thousands of unnecessary diagnostic labs that are not covered by insurance, so the charges get denied and the patient is left with costs they cannot cover. I simply went for routine bloodwork for HRT care, (ive paid for this routine work out of pocket 175 many times before). Now that Uptown has been denied by insurance, I am left with 2,080 in bills for one office visit and 14 labs to determine my HRT levels? Absurd. Very regretful to have found this office.
Started going here back in 2018, Peter Triporo is my NP. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a doctors office, rarely have trouble getting in on short notice, and the practice has kept us heavily updated during the pandemic. Would recommend 10/10
Sorry service from a bunch of queens rather than office. Sat 45 minutes for an appointment I apparently wasnt supposed to have. Dr did not know why I was there. Plus he made me feel very uncomfortable like he was hitting on me. The Dr office is not the place for that. He never treated anything. He just talked. Really? I didnt come to a therapist or for a hookup I came for treatment it seems all they are interested in is HIV and AIDs. There are more things than that. Really not impressed with these people. Plus they only cater to gay men. That should be a huge indication. There is also no parking. Just ridiculous
Hands down the most unprofessional medical facility Ive ever been to. If you do go, and they make a mistake on something, dont expect an apology or acknowledgement. Ismail, Dr. Lee, and Barbara (Dr. Lees sister) all siginificantly lack the proper compassion to be in the medical field. Uptown Physicians Group is not the place that will make sure you are taken care of, nor can you rely on your provider to answer questions accurately.
Attempted to schedule an appointment as a new patience for a pcp. I need to get in sooner than later as I am on bp meds and need a refill. Lady on phone was rude and wouldn’t let me finish asking questions as they won’t book an appointment unless you fill out their application forms first .. very unprofessional and disappointed as my friends all go there
I’ve been going here for over a decade, the staff bf doctors are amazing. They help me through a difficult time in my life when I get an unexpected diagnosis. I can’t say enough good things about them.
Do not go here for any medical situation. I went for an annual physical and things were fine. It wasnt until I went in for an actual medical need that things went south. I called and asked the nurse what their procedure for removing moles(nevus) was. They responded they can cut them off. When I arrived at the appointment they stated they cannot cut moles off but instead wanted to freeze/burn the mole off with compressed nitrogen - this method should not be used for mole removal. Additionally, they prescribed systematic oral antibiotics for an enlarged whitehead next to my eye though Ive had it for over 5 years (during which I have taken systematic antibiotics for other ailments). They have exorbitant fees which are comparable to a specialist. I will not be going here again. I recommend against going to this group.
Empathetic, human, good listener, selfless and considerate: all of them characteristics I have been looking on my primary doctor/nurse. I was very lucky to find Peter Triporo, because in diverse situations he has demonstrated all of those skills expressed in a very professional way. He is a professional I trust and I totally recommend him.
Absolutely HORRIFIC experience with Dr. Hayes....& even more-so with the office mgr. Barbara Wester!! Ive been going here for 13 years---and had no complaints at all when my Dr. was Brady Allen. But, he retired...and I got Dr. Hayes. The 1st FMLA paperwork he filled out for me was rejected, because he didnt follow instructions & fill it out properly. (that had never happened in all the years I had Brady as my Dr.) Then, next visit, I told him I needed my scripts refilled. That too, was botched. (office staff had to do it). Then, I was about to leave thecountry on vacay & I started having back pain that intensified on SuperBowl Sunday. I called 7 times from Mon.-Wed. morn. before I could getany type of response....I ended up leaving (hesitantly) on my vaycay, notknowing if there was anything serious internally. He def. did not havemy best interests in mind. Then, after telling him we were done, I askedto talk to the office mgr. (who I was told, was the sister to Dr. Lee--thelead Dr.) What a vile disgusting lady she is!! When I started & told herabout him not filling out my FMLA correctly, she yelled--American Airlinesis a nightmare!! I said, no--he just didnt follow the instructions--evenafter I told him with AMR medical you have to cross every T & dot every IShe had an excuse for everything. Barbara Wester couldnt even managea snow-cone stand....let alone a medical clinic!! Folks--dont believe me,read all of these posts. I had noticed the past year tension & strife in theoffice....I would ask around....never got the full scoop----now its quite clear, Barbara Wester is causing a toxic environment within the ranks.BE FOREWARNED.........it would behoove you to look elsewhere.
My husband and I chose this practice because we wanted somewhere that we would feel comfortable talking with our doctor about anything. We got that from the very beginning and can’t say enough great things about our primary provider, Jason Vercher. We live 1/2 way across the metroplex from the office, but it’s worth the drive.
Was given one of these doctors on my health insurance for the start of the year. Called to schedule and appointment and the staff was so rude I couldnt even finish a sentence on the phone before I was cut off and informed no doctor there was taking new patients. Two more questions were cut off with curt answers. Medicine is complicated enough, I dont need it made worse by rude staff. Dropped all interest. Go somewhere else.
Superb doctors office. Very organized, professional, and knowledgeable. I have received care there I cannot receive anywhere else for complexity and specificity. They have also coordinated fantastically with my teams elsewhere. Highly recommended!! We love Jason and Eric.
This place is by far the best!!! Peter is amazing and makes sure you are taken care of ASAP. I love his detailed messages telling me what needs to improve. The whole staff here always has a smile on their faces and they are super nice. I just moved from Houston TX and I am glad to have made this selection!!!
I love that almost as soon as you arrive you are taken back and seen for your visit. The team is very efficient. I love that I can be in and out without the hassle of waiting. My NP Vanessa B. is always very kind and helpful and puts me at ease.
Its been 2 weeks since I sent my patient intake forms via email with 0 response. Ive called a few times and cannot get anyone to even pick up the phone. Would not recommend to anyone based off this first impression.
UPG has always been great to me. Had a few issues to iron out and Leeann has always been very helpful. The physicians are always caring and willing to help me anytime. Highly recommend.
I came today for the first time and saw NP Vanessa. She took her time with me to explain my plan of care. Staff is great and waiting time was very quick. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Dr Eric wouldnt sign paper work for med leave from my wk. My wk suggested it. He told me i needed to use my sick-vac time thats why i have thoese times off. Those accruals have nothing to do with med leave. Yes, other issues were involved but seeing my phy. Should not have had anuting to to with my saved time off. I was told i had a referral with asnother physician but my Dr did not mention it dur ing my last apt. Why would u refuse a med leave accepted from my wk but refuse to sign the paper work. Not right. There is no physician patient relationships at this physicality.
Awesome, professional and knowledgeable. Peter Triporo is a great medical professional make you feel comfortable and at ease. I will recommend this place to anyone that is looking for healthcare in the Dallas area
In 2008, I had some blood analysis done at the Uptown Physicians clinic. Dr. David Lee and his nurse said all my levels were normal and everything was fine. I used to go to Dr. David Lee every year for my annual physical since 2004. In 2011, I was having some symptoms so I told Dr. David Lee that I wanted some blood analysis done again, he said there was no need for that, that maybe it was just depression . After I begged and begged to get some blood analysis, the Doctor finally accepted. When the results came back, one of my levels were VERY LOW. I told the Doctor that those levels were low, that was the reason I was feeling tired, with no energy, among other symptoms. Then Dr. David Lee decided to look at my blood results from 2008, and he said that is right, those levels have been very low since 2008 !!!It took him 3 long years to let me know something was not right? So what was the purpose of having a blood analysis done in 2008??? If the clinic NEVER informed me that my levels were LOW !!!if you decide to go to this clinic, make sure you check your blood results yourself, do NOT trust the doctors or the nurses. Also the receptionists are rude and the waiting time is LONGER than at most Doctor offices.
TERRIBLE first impression. I’m relocating to the Dallas area and called because I had some general questions. Stephanie hung up on me TWICE!!! The first time she did it while I was talking and the second when I called back, she answered and disconnected without saying hello. I tried to give this place a chance despite some of the negative reviews, but the customer service here is TERRIBLE!! Maybe Stephanie needs another job if she doesn’t like answering the phone and speaking with people.
Excellent practice. They have always been attentive and Eric has been a trusted practitioner for me for many years. They also have helpful appointment reminders via email, text and phone.
They are just there for the $$, and I understand it’s a business but they don’t care about you as a patient , the administration and customer service it’s the worst . No complaints with the provider ,Peter he is great , it’s just the system . If you want to be treated well ,like a patient not like a dollar sign ,go to a well recognized institution like UTSouthwestern not this place . I only chose them cause they are supposed to be gay friendly but they are not .
WHAT HAPPENED? The customer service has completely went out of the window! As a Registered Nurse this is one of the worst experiences. The front desk to the MA’s! Everyone’s attitudes are horrible and unprofessional.
The nurses and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Peter T. is wonderful to work with and could not be happier with my experience at Uptown Physicians Group.
Biggest scam artists posing as doctors!! They only want you for your insurance. Once you question them on services and try to take control of your health they drop you as a patient. Completely unethical malpractice.
Dr Lee and his staff are terrific. Ive been going to him for many years now and am completely satisfied. Their new location is very convenient and easy to get to. Their in office lab is very convenient too.
Peter Triporo has been my NP for almost 2 years and does an amazing job of taking care of all my needs! Staff at UPG are very kind and easy to get in contact with.
I have been going here for about three years and I really like this healthcare provider. They care, they’re friendly, and I feel most comfortable with coming to them for my medical check-ups and any issues that arise.
Just read the bad reviews and believe them. Says it all. Appalling patient service. Lack of attention to patient care and needs. Do yourself a favor and find another Physicians Group. These guys use the gay community like their own personal ATM. Disgusting service, vile!
I love this place! Eric Klappholz is awesome, hes well knowledged in his field and has a friendly bedside manner. Furthermore, the staff is always friendly and a bit flirtatious which is fine by me.
When we first moved here, we visited Uptown Physicians. Were very happy with our level of care and treatment. Thank you for doing great work and being customer oriented.
Love this place. Doctors are great, staff is wonderful and I couldnt be happier with my provider. Hes on to of current HIV meds and the entire office is full of friendly people.
The service provided was both impeccable and outstanding. Wonderful and attentive staff. Overall, highly recommend it to anyone who doesnt already have a preferred clinic or is looking for a new one.
Since I moved to Dallas a few years ago this medical practice has been my fav ever. They are completely on top of all my health needs and have a super patient relationship with everyone.
Been going here for several years now and have always received the best care. So glad to have a physicians group specializing in LGBT needs
Very pleased with Dr. Hays and the staff.
I love this place. They are very knowledgeable about LGBT issues and I feel so comfortable talking with them about things that I would normally feel uncomfortable talking about. Great choice for a PrEP provider.
Rueben up front rocks. He’s amazing and sweet. The doctors are great. Great follow through.
After ten years of experience with Uptown Physicians Group I can honestly say they are an amazing medical practice with professional staff and doctors that really care about their patients.
Most horrible experience Ive ever had at Dr office. Medications are constantly written incorrectly and I was assaulted by the front desk secretary. I had to, call 911 and file a police report.
Dr. Graneto takes great care of me and the staffing makes me feel very welcomed and Im extremely thankful of them🙏💯Highly recommend🙌 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
They will make decisions without informing the patient. I had heard plenty of horror stories and then I took part in one.
The front office staff is horrible to work with. I can share multiple examples of rude service from Barbara the office manager.Don’t waste your time dealing with them.
One of the few doctors’ offices where I actually like ALL of the staff. And Dr. Tribble is amazing!
Quality, non-judgmental medical care by specialists who know their field.
Excellent office, excellent doctors. Been with them since the beginning, wouldnt go anywhere else.
Everyone is amazing and wonderful!!!
They were there when I needed them. Great doctors and staff! Definitely recommend.
I have been going here for about two years now I have no complaints. Great doctors
Rude and awful. Ridiculous that they make you send all paperwork before allowing you to book appointment. Not going here.
Dr. Schmidt along with the staff were nothing short of amazing.
Some of the Dr. y’all ever find. They know how to really take care of you.
Why is every doctor so gd hot here 🥵
Worst office staff and management around. Beyond a waste of time and money.
Great experience here!
Great doctors
TOTAL JOKE
Great staff
