I was referred to this practice by my childs pediatrician. The appointment was set, and no additional instructions or directions were provided. We got lost trying to locate the clinic, and the office service rep gave us inaccurate directions. A hospital personnel finally informed us that the office was located inside the hospital. We ended up at check-in three minutes past the time, and the front desk person refused to check us in! Even after explain that the office service team directed me wrong, she stated that they are in a call center so they dont know. They refused to see my child, as if it was my fault they didnt provide CLEAR location instructions. This office is clearly out of touch with humanity!
First let me say this a review for the office and the office ALONE. My doctor was splendid. I’m switching doctors due to new insurance. The front office ladies here for the OBs are garbage! They are some of the rudest I’ve ever dealt with. This is my 5th pregnancy so that’s definitely saying something. First time using this office, I’m half way through my pregnancy and can not wait to move to a new provider just due to their office staff being so rude and uncaring to the patients here. I’ll never come back even if my insurance was in network again. I’m only wringing this review for the women who actually read them to determine where they’ll be seen.
These people are so uncaring. The first NP wouldn’t give the order for me a mammogram even tho I told them my grandmother passed away from breast cancer. Then they gave me a doctor they won’t help me stay on my regimen my doctor from back home had me on forMy fibroid. I’m not having not surgery on no 1cm size fibroid that’s not blocking anything.I think they just after money! I’ve started back driving to MS just to see my OBGYN there! That don’t make sense bc she the one that told me give Dallas doctors a chance! Now I will Let her why she always be my OBGYN! Guess if I get pregnant I’ll be moving bk home!!!
Long review alert!!Update; The patients advocate is incompetent too. Called and lied theyd get back to me bit never did😏😏.If youre intending to be a patient here, run for your life. Some of the stuff are rude as well. My doctor was Adrianne Browning. My baby died due to high blood pressure and i felt lots of negligence on her end. Theres even a time she let me go home with a 166/100 blood pressure to monitor it. Didnt know this was wrong until I spoke with several medical professionals and i was even advised to sue her. The first appointment i got with her, they never did my vitals yet I was pregnant. They only did the ultrasound and I saw my baby was great. Fast forward to Oct 12, I went in for something different, and thats when my blood pressure was seen to be high. I told them to do an ultrasound for the baby and I was told theyll use a baby Doppler. Come to find our later, the Doppler gave a fake heartbeat because my baby was no more and no one knew. I asked how that could have happened yet I was in her office Oct 12 and at the hospital Baylor in Oct 14 and both these people gave me fake babys heartbeat. My baby had stopped growing after that first ultrasound because she was measuring the same. So I carried my baby for 4 weeks dead in my womb without knowing. She even lied that she was at my bedside during my entire delivery to my baby yet she came in just for 10 or less minutes before I delivered. It took me 1 month to be able to write this. Im in pain and I believe if my blood pressure was caught early, my baby could be saved. After my delivery few weeks down, she never bothered to do blood work or get in my cervix to see if everything is fine. Such an incompetent doctor.!!
Dr. Sok was the best thing I could have asked for! I hope she will be there for all of my future pregnancies.
Let me start by saying that the doctor and staff deserve 5 stars. But I am PISSED that I was sent to collections even though I make monthly payments. I was given the excuse by the billing department that the computer auto does it if a payment plan is not entered into the system, even if I’m making monthly payments. And I was told that because I’m already there, they can’t take me out. But I have worked with collections in a dental office, I know that I can be taken out. So I had to make a payment arrangement with a debt collector for the same amount I was paying the office directly. Fine what ever. But I pay my debts and to send me to collections is absolutely ridiculous and if an automated system does it automatically then maybe a real person should be handling it.
If I could give this office 0 stars I would. I usually go to my actual doctor at another location but I was referred here for squeeze in appointment. I see now why they had so much open availability, DO NOT GO HERE!!! It has been almost a month of back and forth with this office all because Dr. Sok and assistant, Alexis do not follow up with patients AT ALL. The staff clearly is used this, they have all kind of stories readily available blaming the lab or staffing issues. I have never in life dealt with a situation where my health was in the balance and NO ONE seemed to have a sense of urgency about the matter. I will be filing an official complaint with Texas Human Health Services. Hands down worst experience of any Baylor Scott and White location I have ever been to. Nice ladies, but they don’t like to work!! I can’t even begin to understand how a medical professional setting operates in such a lackadaisical and unprofessional environment. Big red stain on Baylor Scott and white dfw locations!! How unfortunate.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Browning and she has been great! She took in consideration my thoughts and it was truly a collaboration in care for my son and I during and after my pregnancy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Browning in the women’s health group! I’m very grateful
For the rest of my life, I will never forget how Dr. Leinauer and her team treated me. Gas lighting, condescending attitudes, and never once felt like anyone cared about me or my baby. Does the hospital admin care? Of course not. No one cares there.Don’t ever let anyone tell you that the pain you feel isn’t real and you’re making it up, you’re being dramatic, or twist your words. You and your baby are more important and you need to go with your gut. I’m so glad I did and I have told everyone about my experience. If I can save you some trouble, I’m glad! Do not go here and if you have to, don’t go to Dr. Leinauer!
When I found out is was pregnant I scheduled an appointment for 3 days later. I was a high risk pregnancy. Dr. Anumudu was with me every step of way. We listened and took all the steps she gave us to have a safe pregnancy. I developed Pre-eclampsia Dr. Anumudu went above and beyond for my baby and me. I was always able to get ahold of her. And when needed to go to the emergency room. On their advice I was taken straight back with the help of the on-call doctor that night. Dr. Anumudu was on top of all my care. She would visit between two to three times a day. My husband and I had to have emergency c-section and Dr. Anumudu was right there. Before and after. I couldnt have made it through all of that with out her in our corner. She is even become my regular doctor dealing with my personal lady health.I appreciate all her hard work in keeping us safe. As well as everyone dr.s, nurses and resident doctores that had taken care of us that made our time there so greatful.
I chose Christina Buchanan as my midwife back in June and it was the best decision I have made for myself, my husband and my first baby, born 5 weeks ago. She won us over with her warm personality, her professionalism and reassuring ways around all the questions and concerns we had as first time parents. I love that she encouraged me to write a birth plan and then took the time to go over it with me. Every appointment was so relaxed and I never felt rushed. She truly invests her energy and time in building a relationship with her clients. I had a challenging delivery, but Christina was with me every step of the way, providing options, giving advice, coaching us and most importantly caring for me for almost 30 hours until our son was born. We trusted her completely. In my postpartum journey she has made herself available even with her busy schedule, to ensure I was doing well. She is also a certified lactation consultant! I cannot recommend Christina enough, she’ll be one of the highlights of your entire experience!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst office experience ever! They don’t communicate with you via your bswhealth portal, they read your question or comment and never respond. I moved to Texas from a different state, and due to the people working in the office I haven’t been seen yet and been here a month. They tell me I need my previous doctors note and labs, so I print them out from my chart, take them up there only to find out weeks later I should have been given a medical release form and had it faxed over. You can only speak to representatives who never want to transfer you to speak with someone physically working in the office. I would not recommend this place, I have never experienced bad customer service from a doctors office. It’s a reason this place has 3 stars. Please stay away!
Staff dont care about you Alexis and Dr Sok. I am currently pregnant and need a doctor statement for longer leave, they will not write me a simple statement so my insurance can approve my claim. i have a friend who got 26 there are only trying to give me 6 weeks no bonding with me child. Completely despicable
I have had the most enjoyable pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience and I credit a lot of that to Dr. Leinauer! I received great care during my pregnancy and continue to receive the same care and attention postpartum. I love that Dr. L is always willing to talk through issues with me and come up with a solution. I have never felt ignored or as if my health wasnt important to her. I would, and do, recommend Dr. L and her team to any of my friends looking for a womens health doctor!
I had my first appointment with Dr. Shepherd this week and OMG she is absolutely beautiful and amazing. She has a bedside manner out of this world and most of all she listens. I look forward to working with her on my journey to healing and would recommend her to anyone looking for a new OBGYN. UPDATE:I haven’t seen Dr. Shepherd since I went to my first visit. I was referred to about 5 other doctors who were out of my network and not followed up with since by Dr. Shepherds office. That let me know then I was just another number to her and not a patient she cared to help.
Terrible experience at this clinic. The wait times are very long, which I typically dont mind, but in the waiting room youre able to hear every single thing said from the front desk staff. I overheard way too many personal details (including names) of patients (HIPPA violation?). One was particularly concerning, as I overheard the front desk staff scoff at a woman who called concerned with low kick counts. They seemed annoyed that this person called and told her to take a warm bath. That was red flag number one. I called the nurse line once I started to bleed at 6weeks pregnant - the staff on the other line said, what do you want me to do about it? Umm...I dont know...maybe tell the doctor? Red flag number two. My third red flag came with a very poor interaction with Dr Leinauer. After bringing up a concern about my symptoms and HCG count (this was my 3rd pregnancy, previous 2 were losses) the doctor got pretty hasty with me, told me I didnt know you would need hand-holding, I have 180 other patients...I cant give you a time machine...but now that I know you need more attention... Made me feel incredibly small, as if I was demanding too much. I cried in the room - I was so embarrassed. I am a very low maintenance patient (and person), but after recurrent pregnancy loss you have every right to ask all the questions and be given the respect and decency to do so. I miscarried my third pregnancy the day after we met. This was 8mths ago - and I will not go back to this practice.
I’m on the phone with them now (on hold by the way for 17 minutes and counting) and this is the 3rd time I’ve had to call them. They were supposed to contact me. Due to their lack of diligence , I was forced to go to the ER. I can’t believe that a women’s health facility is operating in such a sluggish and unprofessional manner in 2023. While my doctor is in network with Baylor, I’m going to plead for him to refer me elsewhere. Unbelievable.
I love my doctor and apparently so does everyone else. Im in in my last two weeks and my next appointment is after my due date. Yea, thats the type of situation you will be in at Baylor. You have to pay for parking, which isnt bad until you realize you that even if you come in early for an appointment, you will always end up waiting an extra 45 minutes. Even if the appointment is only 15 mins. At this point I just would like to switch hospitals for delivery. As I might not even been seen for delivery.
I love my doctor my nurse and all the receptionists are nice. But I hate this building and the management. You have to pay valet parking $8 with unfriendly valet parking staff or you have to park far far away that if you are lucky you can get a spot, if not, good luck spending 20 minutes driving around and not late for the appointment . I wish Dr Lainauer would move back to the previoua building with no parking hassle.
It’s so sad to have to wait for an appointment opening two months out! I’m also not a fan of their policy about being 15 minutes late. I received no confirmation phone call, email, or text & I had no idea where to go or which building to enter. I called and the phone rang for ten minutes before I was able to speak to someone about directions. The sad part was I traveled over an hour to get there during a thunderstorm and they still turned me away. Any doctor’s office that does this has no mercy and shouldn’t see mothers and/or teachers in general because we all have our days where things just don’t go as planned. My experience here, tops my worst experience with any doctor’s office. Do yourself a favor and get there an hour early because parking is horrendous or find an OB/GYN with caring staff that understands “Shift Happens!”
This morning I called the BS&W Women’s Health Groop to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I want to start by saying, This review is not a reflection of a doctor I should’ve been able to meet with but instead a terrible customer service received. I called right before my appointment, while driving, to finish up part of the intake process over the phone. I was put on hold for another 5-10 minutes, but finally got through to the front desk and was then told that as long as I arrived within the 15 minute window I would be fine. Two minutes later, while walking into the building - with 3 minutes left in the 15 min window, I was called back by another staff member, presumably Lisa, who told I would not be seen this morning and would have to reschedule for another day. She said this was her “supervisor’s choice” even though a more considerate staff member, who I had just spoken with did not have that to say. I moved my entire morning schedule around I would’ve arrived right before 11 AM. Instead of being considerate and valuing the time I spent running around just to get there she took it upon herself, to not allow me the opportunity to complete my visit. On top of that I came in for a problem visit meaning I have an issue that could turn into something serious - all of which this staff member was aware. So, instead of leaving a great review about a doctor I could have seen, I’m leaving a terrible review about a clinic that employs customer service staff that have no sense of value for a patient’s health or time.
I recently started as a new patient in this office and had a fantastic experience. I have seen both Kaylee Williams, the PA-C, and Dr. Leinauer, and both were so informative, spent plenty of time with me and were very kind. In addition, they have a timely and efficient office staff and my ultrasound tech, Hannah was absolutely wonderful.
This is the worst Baylor Scott and white center ever!!! Ive been trying to schedule an appointment for WEEKS NOW!!! I cant even get a doctor for my pregnancy because they havent received my medical records yet. Not to mention Im having twins so its already a high risk pregnancy. Its been a month now and Im still not understanding why they havent received them when it only takes 15 days for them to receive the records. This is RIDICULOUS!!
Dr Jessica Shepherd is wonderful. My daughter had advanced endometriosis and no other Dr in Dallas/Fort Worth was treating her correctly. We heard about Dr. Shepherd from a family member. Call and she got my daughter in ( no wait time) Dr Shepherd knew right away what was going on and started treatment. Our daughter has never felt better, no more pain. I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd. I have started going to her myself. Thank you Dr. Shepherd
This place offers 3rd world care to women! The absolute worst place to obtain care. My insurance covers yearly paps; doc refuses pap. I have cancer in my family; got referral for Breast MRI, CANT MAKE APPOINTMENT BECAUSE NO ONE HAS THE NUMBER TO CALL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! HOSPITAL SAYS PHONE TREE BROKEN, so I asked for a physical address? NOTHING!!!! I highly suggest locating a genuine OBGYN that cares about womens health issues
My sister lost her baby due to Dr Adrianne Brownings negligence. Be cautious if you decide to go to this doctor. Advocate for yourself if you are a woman of color.
So, new to Dallas and very particular about who I see for my healthcare needs but after todays visit, glad I trusted my gut after much research. Yes, probably shouldve given it 4 stars bc I waited 45 minutes, however, the moment Dr. Jessica Shepherd entered the room, I quickly forgot about waiting. She was not only personable but also funny (which I need.) I also appreciated her honesty & her ability to make me comfortable. Her MA was really nice too....but didnt catch her name. Guess Ive found my new Dallas OB/GYN. Thanks ladies!
My experience so far has been wonderful! The office staff are always so polite when I visit and I love my doctor! Dr. Monica Sok is amazing and is always ready to give me information regarding any question I have. So glad I chose this hospital and doctor!
Dr. Meghan Leinauer and her amazing team of doctors and nurses delivered my baby boy. Couldnt have been happier with her professionalism and just how supportive she was with my wife while she was in labor. The entire Baylor Scott and White staff are super nice. Couldnt have picked a better place to have a baby.
I have been a patient of Dr. Inzers for years. Both of my children were born under his care and he and Nurse Shari have always been available to answer questions and reassure me through my pregnancies. He always offers thorough explanations of treatment options to help me make decisions about my care and he always makes me feel confident and supported in whatever method I choose.Today, since Dr. Inzer was out of the office, I got the privilege of seeing Dr. Anubudu. I had stitches removed from tearing I experienced in labor. She was very professional, kind and offered to speak to me about birth control options even though Im not one of her regular patients. I had already spoken to Dr. Inzer, but the fact that she was willing to take that time with me after shed already done so much to make me more comfortable as Im healing from childbirth meant a lot.I highly recommend this practice and both Dr. Inzer and Dr. Anubudu. A good gynecologist is hard to come by, and at Womens Health Group they have at least 2 under one roof.
They are incompetent and rude on the phone, unable to perform a simple task which is endangering the baby and her mother. We havent been able to see a doctor in a timely manner because of the atrocious delay needed to transfer simple files to a different office. The American Healthcare system in all its glory... Shameful.
My first experience with Dr.Shepherd was on 7-19, was GREAT!!! 5 stars for sure. Excellent personality, bedside manners, takes time explaining, etc..... Upon leaving I felt completely different than entering. Thanks for being so helpful, caring and straight forward. You truly made my day it was heartfelt. The staff Immaculate !!! Dr. 5 ⭐️ Staff 5⭐️ Overall everything was 5⭐️. Special thanks to Dr. Shepherd and Browning and Staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been searching for a obgyn for a couple months now . And I am so glad I picked this place . Especially this specific doctor . She is so sweet , amazing , she is so reassuring, I felt anxious and nervous and she just took that all away . Her name is suwetha . 😃
I had to give 1 star but this place is not deserving. This place is a mess. You wait 3 months for an appointment , and the time comes, they reschedule your appointment. Not only do they reschedule you its a whole month later. The last time they wanted me to see another doctor, because my doctor was busy. This BSW is sad.
I have found my permanent gynecologist office and most importantly my permanent care provider Walter, Katherine Marie, PA. She was attentive, knowledgeable, understanding, thorough and genuinely kind.
Ive been going to Dr. Meghan Leinauer for the past 3-4 years. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She has always been patient and helpful with all questions and concerns each time that Ive come in. I have only had positive experiences with her and trust her with my health!
3 stars: My first pap smear was traumatizing. The PA, Ms. Walter was nice and educational. The male phlebotomist did not greet me as I greeted him. Rude.
Worst experience of our life. 1 in 2000 babies are born each year with brachial plexus palsy. Our daughter was one of them. This could have been easily avoided if our obgyn would have been there to handle urgent c section that we begged for during the 20 hr delivery. Instead we received the worst care imaginable. 102 degree fever, epidural missed twice and pumped drugs into my wifes tissue that leaked for days, oxygen desaturation, 1 wk ICU visit, daughters radial nerve damage so severe that she had no movement in her hand, a lying neurologist who tried to tell me it wasnt negligence when I am a neurodiagnostic technician and handle nerve related cases every day, the list goes on and on. On her birth report it says BIRTH INJURY stating it was their fault and we didnt receive an Apology, we got a stack of bills in the mail.THIS PLACE IS HELL ON EARTH
I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism in my entire life. Three minutes before my scheduled appointment, they told me I had to reschedule because Dr. Anumadu was double booked. I booked my appointment over a month prior! Very disappointed with this Doctor and the facility
Dr. Shepherd is great. She takes time to explain everything and never rushes you. She has been especially helpful with all my problems and is always willing to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend.
Called and left a voicemail for a medical assistant. I had a question for the provider before setting up an appointment as a new patient. I never got a call back.
Great experience - friendly, helpful staff. Dr. Anumudu was pleasant and informative. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a new womens health provider.
Love Dr. L. She was great. The communication bt then staff and the doctors could be better. Overall definitely would have the second one with them.
Friendly staff, wait time is normally no longer than 15 minutes
If you like parking a few blocks away and waiting over 45 min for your appointment this is great. Or you could Valet for $8.
Tried to make an appointment by calling the office at 3:10pm on a Thursday and was on hold for 27 minutes before I finally hung up!
Literally cannot get a single person on the phone! Every time I call it rings for 30 seconds & they hang up on me. Very unprofessional!
They can’t even answer the phone for you to set up an appointment.
Worst encounter.Better run away
Baylor is the worst
Dr. Leinauer is a very caring doctor.
Easy check in online.
