Easy online check in. Waiting room was clean and front desk was friendly and understanding of symptoms. Wait was minimal compared to lots of other places. Both people who treated me were friendly and caring and compassionate and seemed to be sincerely concerned with my issue. They were prompt and ready to perform a procedure in office and were very attentive. They were confident with solution and overall a great help.
Many places it’s hot/miss if a doctor is in on the day you walk in. This place was clean with Friendly staff. Kind, informative & nice doc. This was my first ever visit. Would definitely go again. So glad they weren’t busy.
They were about to let me leave without ever treating me… I had to ask for specific treatment options. They had me waiting forever in the room. The doctor kept leaving me in there for no reason. The doctor was impatient about answering any questions and barely gave any helpful information. Awful.
I had an excellent experience at AFC Urgent Care Danbury East. Monique took very good care of me and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. She was professional, compassionate, and thorough. The facility was clean, and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this urgent care.
Worse experienceI had an 11am appointment. I came in 15 minutes early only to wait 45 minutes. A quick DOT Physical lasted 2 hours. I understand being short staffed. But, you should inform your patients that there will be a longer wait.
My daughter went for a physical, was able to get in the same day. Appointment ran on time & they were great! She is afraid of doctors and they were compassionate caring and kind when approaching her
Came in today worked with Russ at the front to get me checked in and all the paperwork needed for my visit. Not only was he helpful but he went above and beyond to get the paperwork I needed. Was friendly, smiling and just made the experience not hard at all. Really re-defined my perception of walk in clinics. If I have to come back I hope Russ is there to help me again.As for the waiting room it was clean. Plenty of seating a tv to watch while waiting and just comfortable. Plenty of space so your not on top of others.Making an appointment ahead of time was great too. Made my spot set.
First Jason at the front desk ,I received a warn welcome from him,he let me know how long I have to wait,Mohamed who took my vitals signs when I went to the examination room again very caring ,explains what he was going to do,as for The Nurse practitioner Monique very professional, knowledgeable, Listern to my issues and treated me accordingly .I was very pleased with their service.life is not perfect,the staff did the best possible for me.Thanks guys for your helos
In my personal experience this was the worst doctor visit I’ve had . I waited an hour I did not have an appointment but there was one person ahead of me. None the less it took an hour for the doctor to get to me just to not be able to do any procedure as they didn’t have what they needed to use for it, which should have been said in the beginning or else I wouldn’t have wasted my time waiting. as well as the doctor having a poor attitude during the time she was seeing me. Did not enjoy and I believe wasn’t helped properly.
They provide a great care, just what I needed. We were super busy and so I had quite a long way. Overall, very good.
I normally dont have a problem with this urgent care but today was a joke. I set up an appointment for my son for 8 this morning. I go there and sign check him in on the tablet, the table had his name cause the appointment is for him. After about 15 minutes the receptionist tells me the appointment was under my name, I said no showed her when I signed him up and she says she sees his name but mine too, she calls another girl over, they tell me to sit back down, call me back up and now there saying ohh I see the appointment for him but you put the ins under your name. No I didnt, he has state ins, I put the ID in and they have a drop down menu and I put self because with state he is the card holder. The first resptionst asked the 2nd girl if we could just have the appointment since she does see its for my son, the 2nd lady says nope you have to reschedule an appointment and no wait another hour to have his appointment, left after waiting 45 minutes in the office. The first resptionst was extremely nice and was trying to help but the 2nd lady didnt want to hear anything, was making up any excuses she could of why the appointment was messed up. Finally left and made an appointment with his pediatric office where this stuff doesnt happen. Second lady if your miserable at your job then leave! First resptionst thank you for trying! And Im sorry you have to work with miserable people.
Every single employee worked hard at all times to minimize my wait time and to help with paperwork. The medical assistant and PA level of care and knowledge were outstanding. I never felt rushed and always listened to!
Pre-employment drug screening, in and out within 15 minutes, no appointment needed. Would’ve been 5 stars but not sure why I had to take photos of my license then have to leave it with the receptionist. But overall quick and courteous.

I have always had a great experience visiting this location. Today the gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant and inviting. He even walked paperwork out to me, unsolicited. The doctor and nurse were both very pleasant and attentive. There are other locations closer to home but this is my go to.

My daughter and I visited AFC Urgent Care Center of Danbury East for an Ear infection, and I must say that my experience was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff was welcoming and efficient, and I was seen by a healthcare provider promptly.The facility was clean and well-maintained, which helped her and I feel comfortable and at ease during the visit. The healthcare provider who treated me was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I would specifically like to thank our Nurse Russ. He was very professional, kind and patient with my 9yr old daughter. My daughter could not stop talking about how nice he was. As a Nurse, I know how challenging it can be to care for Pediatric patients especially when they’re not feeling well.The team explained the diagnosis and treatment plan clearly, making sure we understood everything before we left and even made sure the Pharmacy we chose was open late since we were the last patient of the day.Overall, the staff at AFC urgent care provided us with top-notch care and made my daughter feel like a valued patient. Walked in at 4:40 and they refused to see me because they would be “here for an extra hour” and they had people in the back still and a few others in the waiting room the girl was apologetic however I still feel very sick and came straight from work as fast as I could to make it before they closed just to be turned away. She gave me an appointment for tomorrow. But I’m probably going to go elsewhere.

I had to put down my dog and the staff was compassionate, caring and professional. The price they quoted was the actual price. I previous dealt with another vet near Walmart and they charged me to feel the dogs legs and then to dispose of needles. Hundreds of dollars. Fieldstone was amazing
My experience with AFC Danbury was was great! It didnt take me much time everyone was very efficient and polite and professional. I was there to file a workers comp report. The doctor was wonderful and every staff member was wonderful as well. My nurse was helpful and informative. Thank you 👍

Would not recommend! My daughter is allergic to penicillin. I put it in her paperwork as well as told them twice when we arrived. After receiving a positive strep test the Dr. prescribed amoxicillin. I then stated again “she has a penicillin allergy, our Dr. has never prescribed that, is it really okay?” She said “oh yeah let’s not do that.” Seems irresponsible on their part. The location is rundown, walls clearly in need of paint, broken TVs, and dispensers falling off the wall. Won’t be back!
Receptionist needs an attitude adjustment. She tries to take my phone to send an email (in which I had previously sent and received confirmation for) then gives me lip when I pulled my phone back and told her to walk me through whatever she was trying to do on MY phone. Miraculously, my paperwork was found after I called a different office asking them to assist. GRodriguez you need to learn to listen and know when to ask for help from your colleagues. Pre-appointment process was great. Wait 10 minutes since I completed pre-registration. Efficient. Saw nurse and PA. Received prescription order ad was on my way. Worked well since I am traveling from Iowa.
I’m from NY and hate going to urgent care. I wish more places were like this location. From the front desk to the back rooms and even the doctor caring enough to make a call for me to see a PCP as soon as possible. Great experience!
The doctor was great, but didnt feel the rest of the staff was very interested in being at work. Some were so casually dressed it was like they were ready to sit in front of their tv at home for the evening. Very unprofessional, for a professional business. When did medical offices go from office casual to a home casual dress code? Taking my business elsewhere in the future, unless in a bind.
The Provider Doctor and nurse assistant presented all the best qualities as a medical professional. Each was Considerate, sensitive and knowledgeable. And prescribed medication for my case of Poison Ivy. Thank you for all help.

After months of the misdiagnosis this pathetic company attempted to charge my insurance of which is being contested. This company has no credibility what so ever. Sent me to their patient advocate which slso has no credibility. They have pushed the whole issue aside thinking this will be ignored. Think again, a formal complaint has been filed with the state health department for investigation on the qualifications of these practitioners working there. They are uncertified as far as i know. Do not belong to the better business bureau in CT or anywhere else.I will continue to inform people of their unethical practices. Keep your family out of a facility that doesnt listen to patients and their needs. As for tge owner, should be out of business! As for they are sorry it’s a big fluff job.
1.5 hour wait, then another 1/2 hr in room, saw a nurse, showed no standard Covid symptoms and wanted me to take a Covid test. I left without seeing a Doctor . Waste of time and $
Called in about 40 mins before closing to ask if they accept walks-in and I was offered a reservation for the next morning. Since I was nearby I just dropped by. The waiting room was empty and the last patient was just leaving.They reluctantly allowed my kid in although nobody there was really busy.The good part was that they got the correct diagnosis and the doctor was friendly.
Genesis provided excellent care and concern and made my check in and visit run smoothly and quickly. The entire staff was friendly welcoming, and showed care and concern for my daughter who wasn’t feel well. I am very pleased with the service I received today. Would recommend.

Friendly staff and even friendlier providers. The doctors are really professional and patient, some more than others. Wait times are not bad compared to other urgent care centers. Clean facilities. The providers dont give you the stink eye when you need a doctors note for your job.
I have had services at this location several times. The compassion, care, and concern is at the utmost genuine! I thank God I am blessed to have AFC of Danbury, Newtown Rd., as my urgent care center. TERRIBLE. I scheduled an appointment for 10:15. Was called into am exam room at 10:58. At 11:08, I opened the exam room door and asked the assistant if he could ask the doctor how when he/she would be coming into the exam room to see me. I waited 10 minutes and could not wait longer and told a different person sitting at the desk I had to leave.

Seemless, smooth visit, friendly, helpful, proficient front desk person, very kind, professional doctor who nailed my diagnosis quickly, and sent me on my way with the right medication recommended. In and out. One dose later, and I feel better. And I will add, they saw me when my own doctor, who now seems to be scared of even mildly sick people, refused to. Deeply grateful places like this exist. Otherwise it would have been a costly visit to the ER, or continued suffering.
I always go to another walk- in clinic for minor occurrences but it was fully booked this past Sunday and they werent taking walk-ins so, I drove across town because I remembered seeing an urgent care sign on Federal Road. I am SO glad I did!Check-in was a breeze and the young lady was super friendly. AND even better… I didn’t even wait 10 minutes. Granted, it was a weekend but still!The attending physician, Dr. Dodakian, was fantástic. So good that I would have him as my primary care doc any day of the week. I even said that to my husband.Also…his assistant was super nice. I didn’t get her name.(Sorry if you are reading this)For future visits, I will go to this urgent care facility. 5 Stars.
Worst urgent care place I’ve ever been to. Reception was not nice, definitely shouldn’t be greeting clients. I was there to get sn X-ray of my foot. So for well over an hour with no communication. Watched as all the clients were being brought back, even the clients that came in after me were seen before me. Asked when I would be seen, she said soon. Sat, waiting another 1/2 hour. Received a call, stepped out to answer it, told the person I would call them back as I was at an appointment. It took less than 20 seconds. Went back in and waited another 1/2 hour. Finally got up and said to the receptionist, do you know when i will be getting called in? She said, oh we called you, but you weren’t here. At that point i was so annoyed. I said , are you kidding me? I took a call that was maybe 20 seconds. I stood right outside the glass door with my hand on the handle and you could clearly see me standing right at the door. I said, well, can I be seen now then? She said no, sorry our X-ray tech left for the day!!! What?!?! I seriously couldn’t believe it. I was annoyed. So she says hold on a minute. Goes in back, comes back out that says we have someone here that knows how to take X-rays and she says she’ll do it. So, the woman did. Apparently, reads the X-rays and says everything looks good. And sent me on my way. She clearly didn’t k is what she was doing either as I followed up days later with another place and they diagnosed what the issue was. Will not go there again.

They are SO DISORGANIZED!when i got there the wait time was backed up by 2 hours, so the lady behind the counter offered me an appointment for the following morning at 11am. I confirmed that this works for me. The following morning i got there at 10:45 am, for my 11am appointment, and when I checked in at the front desk the lady (different lady this time) told me that my appointment was scheduled for 9am and that I “missed my appointment”. she proceeded to blame me for being late, and claimed that they called me a bunch of times (which they in fact did NOT do, they only texted me once, asking “Are you still coming to your appt?” at 9:18am, with no specification of what time my appointment is supposed to be at in the text message. I responded “yes”, because YES i was still planning on coming to my appointment which i had scheduled and confirmed for 11am.This situation was entirely the fault of the ladies working behind the counter who either wrote down the wrong time in their system or changed it without my knowledge, and yet I was the one punished for it and blamed for it, because of THEIR lack of attention to detail regarding my scheduled appointment time.
Took too long for anyone to call with lab results, I had already viewed online and asked for medications, saw a female Dr assistant.The room need a better cleaning service baseboards were dirty.
Got there earlier exactly the same time it opened and they saw me right away, I was in and out, so convenient and am very satisfied with the service I was provided.

My husband and I were able to register online 30 minutes before the appointment. When we arrived, the staff were already ready to see us. The triage was quick and easy with only necessary components (vitals) and questions asked. We were given proper expectation for the point of care test wait times. The provider printed all relevant information for any questions we would have, and sent us on our way. It was a prompt, professional, efficient experience as an urgent care clinic should be.
The doctor and nurses at this facility are phenomenal and very kind, and not the reason I’ve chosen to leave a review on this facility. However, I felt the need to address the people they have sitting at the front desk are some of the rudest women I’ve personally dealt with in a professional setting. No customer service or hospitality skills - I called beforehand to see when I could be seen by somebody and they told me to come right down, and I ended up waiting over an hour while these girls had loud personal conversations behind the front desk for the whole waiting area to hear. They were also discussing other patients loudly being the front desk for all of us to hear. They were nasty to patients who needed help with the online registration - very snappy and rude especially to those who may not be very tech savvy. They were complaining about the west location in Danbury having to send people over - and the people who came from the West who already had been waiting needed to wait even longer for somebody to acknowledge them. Long wait times are not the issue here - just a lack of training and common sense amongst the girls they have chosen to hire.

Actually, this review is done by the wife. I went to this urgent care on November 27, 2023 in extreme pain on my left side upper chest and right from the front desk lady, ( forgot spelling ) the ladies there were wonderful. I was taken in an immediately by wheelchair and seen immediately. They did x-rays and EKG. . Everyone was very kind and helpful and thorough.
The entire staff at AFC East was amazing. It turned out my appointment was at a different Danbury location, but they were super understanding about my mix up and allowed me to stay and took care of my pre-employment physical promptly. They were very helpful, professional and took care of the situation with much kindness.
A total disaster Horrible.Self pay,I made appointments .,but they dont go after appointments.They take clients who walk in before me in .The manager Jenny a total disgrace, unprofessional.She should not represent AFCurgent Danbury Care.Nasty and rude.I had to push the Nurse practitioner,to givee a prescription for a sonogram.The nurse who took my blood,forgot about ,infection control,,walking out with the gloves on...then come back to draw my blood.I had to remind him to change hes gloves.The male nurse practitioner,was unprofessional.Looked .at my neck tissue.refering to, BAD boy.Then refuse to draw my blood..walked out..had to talk to the male nurse to explain to him,I already payed for the blood work.I could here them.talking about me and my situation outside the exam room.What happened with my HIPA rights?? They violated my HIPA rights.I had to ask him to give me a byopsy prescription.This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!!IVE been there in list 4 occasions.Jenny the manager..rude, unprofessional, nasty.Treat me like dirt.She talk back very nasty.She needs to be reminded Im the , Client ,who self payed each time I requested theyre services.I believe shes in the wrong field..She will have a better fit in a mortuary.They should really be careful how they treat theyre clients, because they dont know whos standing in front of them, asking for theyre help..Im someone who knows my rights,and healthcare.Sincerely CP.

I went to Urgent Care at 2 Main St in Danbury for the first time due to a sudden unexpected health concern. I found the receptionists, physicians assistant and my doctor to be very efficient, kind, helpful in listening to my concerns. I was very grateful, appreciative of everyone and especially Dr. Benita who solved my problem. I highly recommend this urgent care location!!

I have been here twice. First time, did not have to wait, was about 1pm, the other day I had to wait about 1 hr 10 minutes but was in the evening around 5 pm , when i guess a very busy time, after work...Hope that helps. Office is clean and staff courteous and responsive. It is urgent care and the most critical patients are seen first. Happened to me, went in seeking treatment for a cold and the practitioner was preforming 2 procedures. The staff informed us waiting that it could be some time since there was just the one practitioner on duty. I came back later and was seen in a reasonable amount of time by the doctor. He was knowledgeable and professional.
Had an amazing experience with AFC (Newtown & Main St) today. I signed in accordingly and was immediately greeted by Alex, who offered me a wheelchair due to my foot injury. Soon after I was greeted by the most amazing PA, Monique. She was very thorough, compassionate and determined to get me an X-ray of my foot despite note having a machine at their location. She called the Main Street AFC who accommodated me immediately. It was clear that Monique had coordinated very well with their neighboring Main Street office. Cynthia, the Xray tech handled me with care and displayed the utmost empathy. She explained what the process would be after she completed my X-Ray! Then before you knew it, I had my X ray report along with the Disc in my hand! It does not stop there.. She wheeled me to my car and made sure I got in safe!! I was very grateful for her kindness. I went in for stitches on a deep knife cut. I was helped by Alex who was firstly so friendly and made me feel comfortable from the moment he said hello. Was I done he turned me over to the physician Kelly and wow wow wow. I wish I could take her home with me. She helped me relax, put in the stitches which was supposed to be extremely painful but her gentle hand really made it a piece of cake. She was so relatable and so HUMAN. I would definitely go back to that branch just because of her. You have such a gem in Alex and Kelly. I wish them all the success. I would follow them anywhere. I suggest everyone does too

AFC is a place to go when your dr can’t see you right the way . I was seeing today 12/29/23 and was in and out , the wait was a normal 30 mins max . The front desk ladies were pleasant and the nurse and the PA just nice human beings. I am glad my situation was a quick one . I personally like the Pas better than the dr . But that is my preference and experience expression.
Waited two hours past my appointment time and left with three band aids because they had a hard time drawing my blood since i got dehydrated waiting for to be called in

Ive visited this clinic a couple times over the years. Very caring and attentive staff. I was at another local clinic walk in, they had a 3 hour wait. I went online and signed up for this clinic, and they saw me within a half hour. Highly recommend.

The staff was professional and prompt. I visited as a walk-in, Second time patient today and was seen and diagnosed and on my way out in about an hour after the online check in and they had quite a few patients ahead of me. The facility is clean and well kept. They were spot on with the estimated wait time and I was able to view my spot in line and was able to tend to 2 other errands in the area while waiting. The behavior of waiting patients and children is subject to interpretation and I wont knock points from the staff of the facility!The tech and PA who saw me listened to my concerns with full attention and regards to my situation. They were respectful, non judgemental, and explained everything in detail. I will DEFINITELY return for future needs!

It started off fine, and I liked that I could see where I was in line, but then that stopped working. What should have been a 1 hour wait ended up being 2.5 hours. And the people behind the check in desk did NOT push people to wear masks even though your door said it was required. One girl came in to be tested for TB and no one said anything about a mask.The doctor and nurse were nice but the check in members...not so much. They had reached capacity for the night and the check in crew would stand there and werent telling people right away which made them frustrated as well.
I feel like because I’m black and the Lady at the front desk was Hispanic, I came earlier with my son and another lady came after be about 30 mins or so. The lady that came after me was called in first even though I was there first. I feel like I was discriminated against and I was left there to wait with my sick son. When I asked why she was called before us the response I got was “they will call you soon”after that I left.
I cannot thank AFC enough for having so much hospitality. There is usually not that much of a wait time to be seen and my doctor K. KELLY, PA was phenomenal. She really made sure I left with all of my prescribed medication and actually cares about her patients. I would recommend this location over Danbury Hospital any day! Thank you Kelly! You’re amazing.
All staff are very sweet and sympathetic. They all really care for your well being and for you as a person. Everyone has a smile on their face and is really understanding. SO MUCH BETTER than other locations I’ve been to
The PA there is extremely nice and attentive to the patients needs. The front staff also goes above and beyond. I had the pleasure of being helped by a young man named James who really followed through with what the practice said they’d do! They helped me find good doctors that would take my insurance in a timely fashion- very satisfied
Honestly hate it. Past few times I went waited 3 hours on average. $135 out of my pocket and don’t feel like doctors listen. Explain the main reason I went and focus on something else that I’m aware of already. Maybe it’s just that location.
This is the 3rd time I take my dot exam and each time I am more surprised by the great service! Everyone was very kind to me, without exception!
I waited three hours for nothing. The doctor looked at my leg, walked out, said she’ll give me a referral for an ultrasound and never came back with the referral. I had to open the door and asked the lady at the desk that saw me standing there and ignored me For the doctor, she told me to go out in the waiting room and my prescription will be out there one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had at a doctors office
Kind & attentive, offered to have me nap for a half hour in the exam room because I mentioned I had been having a hard time staying awake driving over due to feeling ill. My go-to urgent care center!

I must admit that my experiences in Urgent Cares have never been the best. But it was the first time I visited this Newtown Road - Urgent Care. My experience couldnt have been better! After spending a whole day with a clogged ear and without being able to sleep, I was seen by a nurse and a doctor who treated me in the best possible way. They listened to me (something difficult) and treated me with a lot of respect and affection. Its been a long time since I felt so well cared for. I highly recommend this Urgent Care.

Such an unprofessional establishment with employees who don’t care about your general well being. I went there over the weekend after I received a laceration to the top of my hand at work across the street and I desperately needed stitches. I ran over there and explained that I cut myself on the clock at work and that it was going to be worker’s compensation and the woman at the front desk made it seem like I was a burden to her and her coworkers. I was visibly nervous, I was gushing blood from my hand and the woman at the front desk really couldn’t have cared less it seemed. I’ve never seen an establishment made to help people in a pinch try so hard to turn away people they don’t want to deal with. You’re better off going to the emergency room.

Alex was pleasant and personable. The doctor seemed thorough, but my symptoms were not clearly related to my undisclosed ailment. He also spoke too rapidly to be clearly understood.
I went to urgent care last week after an atv accident. I remember when I first walked in, I was very inpatient because I was in so much pain. I had about 6 people in front of me (they were slammed that day) the front desk receptionist Stephanie calmed me down. She chatted with me, brought me ice and helped me elevate my leg. This kept me comfortable until I was seen. I was complaining a lot in the waiting room and rather than get annoyed Stephanie was extremely patient with me. Once I was seen, the process was fast they gave me an X-ray and I got the results quickly. All the doctors were extremely helpful and made me feel at ease. I would defiantly recommend this place to others.

Wait time was longer than expected for a mostly empty waiting room. And once I was moved into an exam room I waited 45 minutes.But once the PA came in to see me it was in and out.If anything happens while Im at work again I will definitely head back here.
Every time I am in need of seeing a doctor I always choose this location. The wait is always minimal and I’m even accommodated with an appointment if they are busy so that I’m not left in the waiting room forever. The doctors are always very kind and knowledgeable and the facilities are always clean and sanitary. Doctor kateland Kelly is my favorite doctor by far. The best!!!!My usual visit is normally in and out in less than 30 minutes which is amazing compared to the Main Street locations time which is around 2-3 hours. The receptionist staff is always very cheerful and welcoming as well (Stephanie in particular ) extremely friendly !. I recommend this urgent care to everybody

The three people I dealt with - russ, Alex and haig - were all awesome. They even laughed at my jokes.
When I visited this urgent care today, the receptionist failed to acknowledge me even when I stood in front of the desk to inquire about how to check in and she only spoke to me when requesting payment, at which time she had an attitude. I was led to a room quickly and was left to wait for an hour without anyone checking in or updating me on when I would be seen. I would hope that typically anyone with medical concerns is not left alone for an hour without any oversight from staff. It was the end of the day so TV monitors were turned off making me think they were shutting down for the day and had forgotten me. When the doctor walked in and asked how I was I explained that I had been waiting for an hour and she met my frustration with a flood of angry comments about how she was there to make sure people dont die and had a couple of ambulance transports that in her words were more important. Thats right, as long as you dont die, the staff here doesnt care about you. Not only did she discount my medical concern before even examining me to know how serious it actually was, but she spent about two minutes examining me and had the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. She was cruel, dismissive, and clearly did not care. Had someone let me know there were serious cases and I may have to wait a little longer I would have had no problem, but being left in an exam room in the back of the building at closing time without any update was frustrating. I will not be recommending this urgent care to anyone, and will be sure to describe my bad experience to others to ensure they dont make the mistake of visiting this clinic or that doctor. To the doctor: do better, and consider responding to frustration with kindness, compassion, or patience instead of trying to cause harm.
Everyone was professional and empathetic to why I was there. Got diagnosed and prescribed medications to resolve the issue. Much better than waiting over a weak to see my regular doctor. Would recommend.

I cannot possibly express how happy I am having AFC Urgent care near my house! I have a DOCS closer by and I have yet to have a good experience. Twice now, I have gone to AFC without an appointment and was seen, abd on my way within 45mins. Thats huge! From the front desk staff, to the nurses to the Doctors....everyone has been fantastic evrytime I have gone! Danbury (newtown rd) office is top notch!
I love love love Dr Kateland, Kelly. My husband went into urgent care after a work injury - Nurse Courtney and Dr Kateland we’re so attentive and caring the whole way through. We really appreciated their work ethic and how they made the worst situation - positive. We’re both very willing to see Dr Kateland through as our primary Doctor @ NM Medical Group.For the front desk, it’s always an uncomfortable experience. Most of the time the girls just seem like all the customers are bombarding their personal bubble space. Unfortunately, this is an urgent care not the high school locker room.

I have COVID and made a 1 pm appointment. It is now 1:30 only 1 patient has been seen since I got here at about 12:55 and she was seen at about 1:15. Why set an appointment if it is not honored? When I went to the front desk to ask about this I was told that if someone walks in before my appointment time, she would be seen before me, even though she is a walk in and I have an appointment. They have already charged my card so I couldnt go to a different provider but this will be my last trip to this facility.*UpdateI was finally placed into a room by a nurse who has the equipment to start checking vitals but she decided that she didnt want to help me so she left me in the room for another 5 minutes until a different nurse came into my room and helped me out instead.
Waited two hours for a simple drug test, they are now taking over a week and a half to send it to my prospective job and no one can give me a straight answer why. I could potentially lose this job because of their negligence. DO NOT SCHEDULE YOUR DRUG TEST HERE!!!

I went in on a Sunday less than an hour before closing for a laceration. Of course one that happened stupidly. Not only were the super nice despite the fact I was there right before closing, but they dealt with it (and my reluctance to see my own blood) quickly and so kindly. Everything was explained to me and I healed very well without incident. Thank you Kateland (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) and co!
I am new to the area and needed to be seen quickly. They were able to fit me in within the hour that I called. The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning for future needs.

My experience with Kateland Kelly was beyond amazing. Dealing with anything medical can be scary, but she was kind and patient. She explained every detail to me and was incredibly informative. Robin also assisted with my x-ray and was also incredibly kind. I can not thank them enough for making a bad day a bit better. Truly amazing people. I felt taken care of, emotionally and physically! Bettina C was my APRN and I was thrilled when she walked in. She is very knowledgeable. She knew what she was talking about. She remembered me from last time. She put me on an anti biotic that I have not been on for years and felt this was probably the best. She makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to listen.

This was my first time at urgent care of Danbury. The wait was minimal and the administration staff was very helpful. The medical staff is very Knowledgeable! If needed I would definitely go back again.
I needed to get a flu swap and the staff was great. I called the day before and got an appt. Which sounds silly but I tried 2 other urgent cares and no one answered the phone. I had a limited wait (30 minutes ) and the nursing staff was kind and personable. PA Kelly was AMAZING. She was so nice and appeared unaffected by the hustle and bustle of a busy clinic. Highly reccomend this place
Brought my 94 year old father there after talking to his PCP. It was an easy checkin online and it was only a short wait. Physician and medical assistant very competent with a great bedside manners.

This past week, I have a flare of up an acute on chronic illness and was severely dehydrated; thankfully he was able to get the blood draw and keep me out of the hospital.Special thanks to Olala Lawrence, PA-C for coordinating a specialist consult and for having a calm bedside manner.

I feel terribly bad for the health care provider.But this place needs more staff. 4 hours waiting to be seen.And couldn’t even get my prescription by the time I left bc it was too late. So annoyed

Just went to urgent care and saw kateland, pa and her assistant Alex they were amazing!!! Both professional and very nice. And to top it off I didn’t have to wait for over and hour.

Staff is friendly and help is timely. but multiple occasions where they have forgotten to send in prescriptions to a pharmacy. Make sure you confirm its been sent in before leaving.
Receptionist was apathetic and literally sighed at the thought of him having to help me figure out why my prescription wasn’t sent to the pharmacy 4 hours after I was seen. Doctor and other staff were super nice though.

This is Tracey Bricker. I was at your clinic October 29th, around 3pm (ish). I was told the prescription would be sent over to the Stop & Shop Pharmacy right away. It took almost an hour and a half before the pharmacy received the prescription. There is no excuse for that. Not to mention, I called several times to your office and no answer. I was not very happy.

Its hit or miss when you go there. one day the reception is so nice and another day it could be one with an attitude. drs and/or their assistants vary too. some i have to tell them check my ears. some days i go there sick get the right person to give me the right medication. this time around i had to visit twice. hopefully i should be better soon. the wait time is long but understandable.
After making an appointment at 11:30 for 12: 30 appointment. I finally got to a room around 2:30. Dr apologize but said they were very busy. Guess theres no use in making an appointment
Wait time was outrageous as they stumbled around to verify my payment/insurance info. Poor communication from front desk to me, in the waiting room, ear shot of staff. 4 people having a great time behind the glass while I waited.Once seen, PA stayed about 60 seconds before leaving exam room for 5 minutes. He prescribed 3 medications. I received no diagnosis. Asked for paperwork twice inly to receive my copay receipt & a copy of a payment agreement. Absolutely NO medical information! Not the PA’s name, the dx nor any follow up instructions. Substandard at best.
Waited over 2 1/2 hrs with a medically complex sick infant. (Pediatrician closed) Only to be greeted by Dr Ali who was beyond rude didn’t care about her history Which is why I was there because of her history Then when she tested positive He was a totally different Dr. and it wasn’t teething like he said! I get it they can be overwhelmed but listen to us who knows best but the mom!The staff was amazing!
I was traveling through and stopped here for treatment for strep throat. They got me right in and filled my prescription within 1/2 hour. Thankful for the swift care as a walk in.
Wait times are excessive. 3 hours for an appointment and then when you show up for your appointment you still have to wait another 90 minutes. People were leaving when I was there because they were waiting for so long. It seems like AFC is double and triple booking patients on top of one another because they can, cause, what are you going to do about it. Its mismanaged from a scheduling standpoint. Would I go back? What other choice do I have? The hospital?
I had a cut on my hand that needed stitches. The staff was attentive and prompt. I was very happy to have such quick service.
This urgent care facility is fantastic. The employees are smart, efficient, very helpful, and the facility is very clean. Regrettably, I did not get the name of the medical assistant or the woman at the front desk, but they were both wonderful. The PA, Monique, was impressive. She took the time to ask questions and explain. I got to the facility at 5:00 pm, and I was told that there were too many people waiting, and I couldn’t be seen before closing. I made an appt for the next day, and by the time I got home, the woman at the front desk texted me to let me know that they had cancellations, and if I wanted to come back, the PA would be able to see me. I actually couldn’t believe that a person would go out of their way to reach out.I did go back, and I got the medication I needed the same day. It definitely would not have been the case at the urgent care facility in Brookfield. They do nothing for patients coming in for help. If the need to go to an urgent care facility arises again, I will definitely go back to this AFC.
Unfortunately, I have had to visit this clinic 3 times recently due to unexpected illnesses. However, AFC is AMAZING! Never too long waiting and the staff is always kind and helpful. I will continue using their facilities. Its better than seeing my own Health care system!
It took forever to be seen. The nurse was rude when I asked to use the bathroom. She responded a what? with an attitude and I said a bathroom please. She swabbed my nose and I use quotes because she BARELY EVEN GRAZED THE SURFACE. The doctor there was kind and thorough. He had to swab my nose again, because the nurse didnt do it correctly.
I went to AFC urgent care, location 100 Mill plain rd and the receptionist told me there was a lot of people waiting, mind you there was only 2 patients in the waiting area. So she said they were in there cars or somewhere but I can get you in for 4:15 pm today, I asked her did she know if Newtown location had a long wait time receptionist responded “No I can’t see that” but you can check on there website so I did and sure enough there wait time was only 8 min. As I let the receptionist know that Newtown’s wait time was only 8 min she said don’t tell them that I sent you hahaha. I arrived at Newtown location and only waited 5 min in waiting area and mins you Newtown location had 2 patients in waiting area. To the AFC Newtown location Thank you Stephanie.

Doctor was excellent. Took her time and evaluated the issue presented to the best of her ability. Excellent recommendations. Would come back on her practice a lone. Front desk felt uninterested. My name was called and a snarky laugh was heard after my name was butchered in pronunciation. I understand my name isn’t normal. But the laughing was extremely immature. Last I remembered this kind of behavior was middle school maybe high school.
I made an appointment on line which was great. The staff was very nice. I think I waited around 20 minutes which was not bad. If needed would go back to this facility.
From start to finish my experience was good. The check in is quick and the assisting nurse and on call physician were both great and made my visit peaceful!
I went last night around 6pm with my girlfriend. I understand that as a doctor your job isn’t easy, you probably work very stressful hours but that does not excuse being disrespectful to your patients, giving an attitude, giving snarky remarks and purposefully making your patient uncomfortable. She told me the things he said to her earlier as well and i was in the room when he continued his lack of empathy and disrespect. His hatred for his job was extremely visible and very unprofessional.
Our visit was on a weeknight around 7 pm. Even though it was so close to closing time our care was excellent. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and our wait time was reasonable. Our PA (that removed some stitches from my toddlers forehead that had been put in last week) had a calm and professional manner that I desperately needed considering the reason for the visit.
The place is very clean. Staff is wonderful. Very helpful.... My experience with them was very good. They got me feeling better and back to work.....

I’ve been to this location several times, most recently on 5/12 for stitches. All of the staff is kind and helpful. The doctors and PAs are great. I waited less than 10 minutes to be seen which was impressive. I received a follow up call the next day to make sure I was doing well, which I appreciated. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. I would recommend going to this AFC Urgent Care.
My experience at this urgent care was the most awful experience I have ever had. The 2 ladies at the front desk were EXTREMELY rude. We waited 6 hours to be seen (this is understandable) the doctor and nurses in the back were kind and truly helped me.
The doctors and nurses are wonderful. You can tell that they care just by the way they talk to you. But of course every place has its pros and cons. The receptionist should be a little more warm with people. “ A …. Hello good morning “ … is always a warm welcome not to mention polite.It is sad when you get….Next … What’s your name …Have a seat.I think a hello or good morning or how can I help you , would be nice.Instead you get this passive aggressive person and it’s not just a particular person , it’s a few of them that are not very polite at all. You can’t even get a smile out of them when you yourself greet them. Maybe they don’t like the job. But nevertheless if your not happy there , find another career that’s more to your liking and maybe you don’t have to deal with the community that comes to you for help.But other than that , the health center is so nice and apart from my grievance it’s a really good health center.

In my brief experience it seems this Urgent Care facility tries to help as many as possible but presently there are more patients who need COVID testing or acute care than there are Providers to care for them.A chunk of their staff is out sick or in isolation after exposure themselves leaving fewer caretakers to meet increasing demand.The facility was clean, staff was courteous, they were honest about wait times, and seemed organized. Only one patient could be seen at a time. Once I was called in my evaluation and care were efficient and appropriate. If I hadn’t arrived an hour before opening time to stand in line by the door I probably wouldn’t have been given a time slot to return later in the morning to be seen. When I was leaving just a couple hours after opening incoming patients were already being asked to return the next day.
I had the pleasure of using this Urgent Care few times , and I can honestly say had no problem getting in, getting registered and taken good care from the front staff and the health professionals in the back. I understand that these past few years its been not only hard on patients but has been very stressful on these health care professionals with all this covid going on. So all I can say to anyone going in , try to be patient and understanding while you wait to be called.
