Patient for about 2 or more years. Having consistent issues with medical team and billing department. Call Line is no better. What goes from hours turns into months to even years. They are unaware of which departments do what and get transferred to like 5+ people in one call. They never reach out to you even when you ask for call back or email. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY JUST CAUSE MORE STRESS AND HEADACHES.

Great staff all around. They are quick and efficient, but attentive as well. Treat them with compassion and respect.

Girls at front desk seem so burnt n so fake n tired n when they look at u its like u bother them 😂

There really nice here with the people yes I have to wait but they help u in a really respectful way great manners there 💯👍

If youre a walk in be prepared to wait. Overall the nurses and doctor were all very nice and helpful. I had to go through so many other places until I found them and they walked me through everything to make sure I was seen today after being sick for nearly a week. Of course the wait was brutal but thats expected when you dont have an appointment and everyone has the same idea you do.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chaudrhy for about 5 years now. I trusted him with my medical needs because he is very professional and he helped me in every way he can with my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I had moved. When I saw my new OBGYN she mentioned that Dr. Chaudrhy did a really good job on taking care of me and my pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr. Chaudrhy. Hes the best doctor! Also, I can never thank Crystabel enough for always being there for my needs. Not only she is awesome, but she treated me like her own family especially when I lost my baby. I cant thank you both enough Dr. Chaudrhy and Crystabel!

I highly recommend coming here ! Staff are great! Especially Lidia Vanessa Cynthia Machado And Dr Linh , they are very patient and lovely

Short wait times and decent service, but they are too high tech for my taste. The doctor sits down at a computer while they try to diagnose you. I understand that doctors dont know everything, but they shouldnt need a computer every time. Its ridiculous the amount of information they collect for a simple wellness check up. When I changed obstetricians, they refused to send my paperwork to my new provider and claimed I never went to them. I ended up having to do blood work all over again just to be able to switch doctors.

I have been coming here since 2017 with first pregnancy And now I am on my second and I had to come get the best prenatal care again here at altamed ! A huge shoutout to Cristabell always taking care of her patients and making sure I’m on track ! She is super sweet and the best at her job ! I Always recommend my friends and family to come here ! So look no further !

No longer has a directly line to office you have to call a call center. It’s so unhelpful and makes wait time longer. So I’m in pain trying to call and make an appointment and it’s not possible can’t call the office it’s like they don’t want you to have the access. Like I have to fight even harder for my health care. It was already harde before this change now it’s worse. No stars would be given if possible.

Staff was beyond nice to me. I was having a bit of anxiety when talking to reception and she literally stopped what she was doing and talked to me calmly and that was so amazing because Ive never had anyone do that. Doctor was kind and sweet and understanding and refereed me to my next steps. I will 100% come back if needed.

I got switched over to Alta Amed & I honestly hate it. It’s hard to communicate or even reach a doctor when in need. They have you take your calls through an automative system and send you to what ever doctor is available. I personally prefer the one on one relationship with your physician whom knows your medical history and is understanding to your needs. I had gotten Covid earlier in the month and reached out to Alta Med for an over the phone appointment. I’m currently expecting and the doctor that assisted me didn’t even look at my file. She continued to prescribe me all these medicines and then I asked if the medicines she is prescribing me is safe to take during my pregnancy she stated and I quote “ oh your pregnant? They didn’t tell me that.”I have Been trying to get ahold of my obgyn and Can’t even get ahold of him. Left message, went through their call system where they make a note and still haven’t heard anything back. I’m definitely looking to get out of Alta med and would not suggest them to anyone. Their system is ridiculous and they definitely need to make some serious changes. 0/10

I want to thank Cindy Hernandez, Dr Bank podiatry and team shout out!! They went beyond to see my daughter and husband, they arrived late. And thanks to Cindy they were able to accommodate them. God bless Altamrd.

This place is a joke. I can understand the ten thousand people they have as patients but come I. Maybe you all should stop taking in new patients so you can properly give the patients you already have decent service so that maybe just maybe they can actually be seen in a timely manner instead of waiting 4 months for a new patient visit for my two toddlers. Seriously 4 months, oh but wait we can take them to their home of a walk in clinic where they call 2 patients every hour and then They still don’t come out from the back for another hour and a half. Yes please this 4 hour wait is much better than a hospital, where they will actually help you and give you what you need to help get you better. So yes they back office staff is so much friendlier than the front. They just don’t care what’s going on!! Train your staff properly altamed and do yourself a favor, stop accepting new patients if you cannot ya die the patient load that you currently have! I will most definitely be looking for another doctors office for myself and my e tore family and will make sure to share these experinces to any and all who ask about my thoughts in this place. And please altamed don’t respond with your cookie cutter response that you have responded to others that give you bad review

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DOCTOR IVE EVER SEEN!!!! I made an appointment with Dr Newton a week ago and I was scheduled for 9am today. However, just when I was wondering why I never received any confirmation email or message for my appointment today, they called my at 8:30am, JUST 30 MINUTES RIGHT BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, and told me that they had to cancel it because Dr Newton had an emergency. What kind of emergency is that so you have to cancel your patients appointment? Also the nurse who called me couldn’t even speak English. I couldn’t even understand what she was saying. She was just repeating “hello hello” on the phone. Can you please find someone who can actually speak English to call your patients lol?

I am not a fan of their structure or communication. You can only see a dcotor at 35 weeks. This dodctor may or may not deliver you. Also, they dont inform you of the reasons for test or labs or of the outcome 70% of the time. I have called to ask of lab results and ultrasound feedback but no one has ever ever returned my call. Even when I told the receptionist that I never get a return call, he noted urgent on my message and still the pregnancy coordinator never called back. I did not go to one appointment, I elected not to have an amniocentesis and so did not go to the appointment. And you would have thought I was the worlds worst person ever. Even the medical assistant was asking me where I was and why I didnt take the appointment. Its a personal choice I made with my husband at 7 weeks to not have one. The Nurse Practitioner was very annoyed by this and gave me a lecture about this. I have called four times throughout my pregnancy and have yet to receive a call back. The only calls I do receive from them is automated reminder of my appointment. Its obvious to me, the only want me to show up to my appointment so they can bill my insurance some astronomical amonunt of money. I gave them a chance and liked them at first untiI they completely ignored my every need and questions as a mom to be. Its my first child. Im 22 weeks and not very confident in continuing on with them through the end. Especially since thier structure doesnt leave much room for making a birth plan with a doctor. By 35 weeks a doctor will just see a patient number and not a person and will be far less likely to see my plan through or work with me. Its discouraging. So Im moving on.

The staff is really nice and the doctors too. Very helpful...butIve come to this place expecting a bit more. Ive explained my back injury issue, they were unable to detect anything with x-rays so I requested an orthopedic or MRI....what I received was a referral for a hand orthopedic NOT a back orthopedic. I called to get a referral to the CORRECT orthopedic...2 weeks have past with a promise of a new referral and non have been received.Starting to sound like mal practice and neglect if you ask me. Ill change my review once I receive results and NOT receive more pain pills.

The staff was nice and the lobby was a big size. The wait was long but it was ok because urgent care is always a long wait. I was glad my daughter could be seen without an appt.

I got and allergic reaction to something my legs and arms are still in hives , i went in to see a dr , my body was starting to get itchy . Tell me why the dr instead of listening to me . She panic and didn’t even want to get close to me and i got tested for covid !!! What did my allergic reaction have todo with covid ??? Im still in hives my body is really itchy ! Now im scare to even go to another dr . I don’t want to get tested for unnecessary test !!!

Staff is friendly but our pediatrician appointment always takes 2 hours - most of time waiting for doctors or nurses to come in.Full of excuses for why things are running late. Will visit other hospitals.

I went to them cause i was having kidney pain and i knew it was a kidney stone i told the doctor and he laughed and said wheres your kidney and he said no there not there so its not a kidney stone then i spent about 2 hrs there well they ran test and he said i was stressed and it was causing stomach pains gave me xanax and sent me home. That night I went to the ER cause I couldnt take the pain and in about 30 min the doctor came in and said you have a kidney stone gave me pain medicine and said you have to wait for it to pass. They are rude here and after a long wait try to rush you out

I really do love their services, but they never have any appointments available until a week or two later. Parking is limited and is hard to get out of when the buses start coming in.

Very professional staff. Clean Facilities. Doctor Jorge Rodriguez always makes us feel comfortable. Family practice feel with efficiency as their priority. Referrals are also done in timely manner

New patient check-in was easy. Came to urgent care after work and it was clean and not crowded. Front office staff was welcoming and informative.

I love coming here. My doctor and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They always do whatever they can to help me and Im grateful. Thank you for everything.

One time and never come back! Ther service is bad. If youre late in 1 min, be prepare to hear them cancel your appointment. Even professor in school is not that hard lol.

Alta med is a very clean clinic close to public transit. If you live in El monte, the red trolley stops right in front of the clinic across the street. Metro lines 76 and 276 pass by there as well. I would suggest getting an appointment or showing up before 8 a.m. if you plan on doing a walk in. The staff here is bilingual Spanish speaking. The parking lot here is very small. You can find additional parking on Esto street below the clinic but be mindful of restrictions.

My boyfriend went there for a bad cough. He was told he needed to wear a mask, which is understandable. He found he couldnt breath with the mask on and told the receptionist. Instead of putting him in a separate room or letting him wait in his car and texting himwhen to come in, he was told to leave. They denind him medical service!!!

Had such a great experience! Doctor made me feel so comfortable, same as the medical assistant. The receptionist was nice. Decent waiting time!

I had the worst experience ever, mom had an appointment@ 8:00 for blood work , was one of the first and was seen an hour in a half later. Wow really I cant imagine when you guys are really busy.

Got 2 cavity filled and my parcels new parcels very look very nice good work and polite dentist

Dr fong is rude he should not be working as a doctor he hung up the phone on me because he want rise my medicine and I done it a little bit and I got so sick please hire better doctors now dr Cabrera was a great doctor dr bagley was a great doctor always.

The doctors and the medical assistant are great, but the office are, staff like thr receptionist give horrible, service, my son had a fever and the receptionist told me I had to wait because my son didnt had an appointment, my son has a fever of 103, the nurse saw me that I was frustrated and took my son right away to put his fever down

The whole staff are very nice. They lisen and than they take of the problem. Every time i have gone they all take care of me.

Fast and reliable service. Polite and knowledgeable staff. In every aspect 5 stars. I highly recommend both medical and dental.

I had a very good experience, everyone welcomes you very friendly, from the door to the reception. It makes you want to come back. And when they call you to remember your appointments, I even liked knowing how to answer, and very quickly to assist me, exactly at the time of my appointment and they didnt leave me waiting for the doctor in a room like in other clinics 🥰🥰🥰 highly recommended

Altamed is a family clinic where many people attend because of the good service and treatment. Sometimes they take a while because they have many patients, but you have to be patient because they always treat you well with respect and do everything possible to take care of you as best as possible, which is why I thank you very much and especially to the nurse ALMA MOJE Since I am a deaf person it is more difficult for me to communicate with others, she is always there to help me and help everyone else Since she is learning to communicate in English in Spanish and in the sign language...

Very bad customer service in this place, I had an appointment, they had to wait for me for 35 minutes to tell me that the person who was going to serve me was not there, but they were demanding that one with 15 meters before they even announced everything very cheap on TV.

This clinic is not good, I do not recommend it. Yegue with my child on Saturday. My breathing got bad and it was 4:35 pm and they told me that until 420 they receive the last patient and model they received and on the schedule it says 5 were very bad. They have to change a lot It doesnt work

I went to my appointment on Thursday, arriving 20 minutes early, waiting for 1 hour, they told me that the doctor was a little late and I had to wait 30 minutes or an hour more, so what was the point of having an appointment, very bad

I dont like the doctors treatment as if she didnt like the babies because my son started crying and he was really sick and it was better to leave and send the nurses to give the diagnosis bad, very bad care
