Went here for an IUD insertion. They were so kind, caring, and gentle. It went extremely smoothly. I greatly appreciate the care I received here and would highly recommend this clinic
I love Planned Parenthood and donate with my tax rebate each year. This clinic just cancelled my appointment with three hours notice and offered to see me in 5 weeks instead. Not acceptable
They cancelled my first appointment. I had to reschedule for 3 weeks later. Then they cancelled that appointment too, with less than 16 hours notice.
Staff was super nice and friendly. Made me feel very comfortable during a hard time for me and my bf. They made sure the procedure was as quick and as painless as it could be. I really appreciated the staff. Thank you.
I was a patient here when I was a young adult. The nurse performing a pelvic exam on me made inappropriate comments about my choice of pubic hair style. I was afraid to say anything because I was in a vulnerable position and was afraid she would hurt me if I said something. When I told her about past sexual experiences she was also unfamiliar with that meant and did not offer any sort of testing related to that.
Wonderful experience no shame no judgement just care. went in for a last min scheduled abortion booked easy and appointment was more then comfortable
Id love to be able to leave a better review if I were ever able to get an actual appointment. When I try to schedule an appointment I am given a no open times are available in the near future message, and this has been the case every time Ive checked in the past month. I guess I officially give up. Theres nowhere else I could afford to go, so I guess Ill just be stuck with BV (or whatever I might have) for the foreseeable future.
My experience with this location was amazing, I was scheduled a very difficult appointment and I struggled I was extremely emotional but they were the most considerate staff I have ever seen. I wish we had these amazing staff in my town, I’ve never been treated with such respect they made sure I was always comfortable and even made sure my boyfriend was comfortable as my comfort person, this is definitely the place to go, always making sure you’re warm with a blanket have snacks and a drink and that the lights aren’t bothering you little things like that to make my already terrifying experience as comfortable as possible, especially with thos procedure we had done, thank you ladies at planned parenthood you’re the reason I felt so safe❤️
Staff was very kind and friendly, very welcoming no judgement zone.I had a procedure the 27th, after he had came back in and insured he got everything and it was done - it was not. The 31st I landed in the ER due to my body contracting and passing clots/bleeding like I’d never seen before due to my body rejecting what he had left behind.I understand no one is perfect but when I’m told I’m in good hands, and he lies to me even he said he completed the task, I don’t feel like I’m in such good hands. My ultrasound showed a deformity, and when I asked him if he noticed anything he hesitated and told me no like I was in the wrong for asking.I’ve done the pill prior from here before and this was the first medical procedure I had with them. The team was awesome but the man doing the procedure seemed to care less. I don’t think I’ll be going back for surgical care.
Theyve always been super sweet and understanding, even when Im just being anxious, they always answer my questions and work to help me properly understand. They got me on testosterone after one visit and have taken great care of me the entire year after.
Absolutely terrible experience with the provider.I had to reschedule my appointment after my original appt at the Danebo location was canceled with no alerting me. The online system didn’t work and I had to play phone tag for at least a week to get another appointment. Finally an appointment was scheduled for May 16th.The front desk woman was very friendly and helped me find the correct door to enter, verified my name and when she lead me to the waiting area, she simply said “have a seat” and didn’t inform me that I needed to check in with anyone else. Because of that, I say there for 45 minutes before asking someone about it. After actually checking in then, I waited another 45 minutes to see a nurse…The care provider, from the moment she began speaking, made me feel on edge. She belittled the concerns I had about birth control when I shared I had lost a friend to a side effect from hers (blood clot in her lung) when we were in high school. I’d also grown up in the south not trusting planned parenthood, so I was feeling pretty out of sorts being here in the first place. She also implied that women were making up stories about how painful IUDs were in order to “tell a story” and “be apart of the conversation”… she said I had nothing to worry about and the side effects were only going to last 6-9 months, I could “give it my best shot” before I changed my mind.Because “after all, aren’t some of these side effects better than having a baby?”She informed me that the numbing agent would feel like a bee sting, it did. And when she came over to insert the implant, I asked her to please touch my arm before she injected it to make sure it was numb, to which she replied “no” and stuck it in…I immediately broke down and when she had the audacity to ask why, I didn’t feel it was worth sharing again how I felt, as she would dismiss it, so I just said it had been a hard day.She brought me juice and cookies to make up for it, so I guess there’s that.On top of it all, my implant is on the outside of my arm rather than the inside where I had researched that they were supposed to be. Even after a week, a slight bump to it was painful. Now after nearly 4 months, it’s still sensitive on the outside of my arm and I’m considering removal and reinsertion to the correct placement.I feel that this care provider is not reflecting the values and care that planned parenthood should be offering to their concerned patients.
I made a last minute appointment same day to get some help with trouble I was having with my bits n pieces. The receptionists were extremely helpful even explaining to me that the wait might run past my appointment time because it was a busy day. The nurse and the Dr were very nice considerate and even fecitious. All my questions were answered and I was so thankful for the help. I have been going to this clinic for a couple years so this wasnt my first experience but it was just todays. Thank you PP for helping me with my bits.
I’ve been coming here since 2018 to get my depo shots and other annuals appointments. Most of the time I had really pleasant experiences. The few times I’ve had uncomfortable or bad experiences was with the doctor Michelle. From snide remarks about my tattoos to refusing me my shots. I suggest if you’re going to come here, request Estee for your doctor. She’s very intelligent, open minded, thoughtful and very caring.
Honestly had the best experience here. I was in there for an in clinic procedure, they made me feel so comfortable I was actually pleased to be there. Everyone was so generous and kind too. The staff was amazing and warm hearted. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Everyone at Planned Parenthood does amazing work for this community. Thank you for keeping everyone healthy and safe.Thomas at the Franklin call center really helped me over the phone today! Easily set up an appointment for me, got all my questions answered, and was very understanding of my current state of health. The guidance I received relieved my conscience and I look forward to my appointment.Suggestion:The webpage for Planned Parenthood needs to be fixed because it didnt allow me to complete booking an appointment, which is why I had to call about doing so.
The actual doctor I saw was amazing. Kind, professional, etc. The NPs Ive seen need work on their bedside manner. One downplayed my concerns and even got irritated when I said I wasnt numb [while they were cutting into my arm]. The other one I saw was obsessed with my weight despite otherwise being in good health. Super uncomfortable and awkward.
I absolutely love the services they offer and the staff up front are always welcoming and inclusive! I however have never had an appointment that was on time so I took off 1 star for that but they have free condoms and free STD testing which is a great service
I wanted to work at Planned Parenthood for years until I was hired. I was quickly disappointed by management/leadership’s and my co workers knowledge and respect towards the transgender/gender queer community. Planned Parenthood puts on a big game with their pronoun pins but that’s where the ally ship stops. I would not recommend their Gender Affirming Care services to anyone queer and I would not recommend applying for employment to anyone at all. They take advantage of good people who want to help their community. The abuse is not worth the paycheck. I do appreciate the reproductive services that the state of Oregon and Planned Parenthood Federation provide time the community.
Absolutely horrible experience here. I do not recommend. Horrible management. Front desk doesn’t seem to be trained. They do not have updated information in your file, if something goes wrong on their end. Avoid this one at all costs.I had to return for a redo on a test because the lab failed. Nobody knew that, no one could guarantee I wouldn’t be billed again. Front desk got snotty with me when I asked for a manager because they don’t know anything(never saw a manager). They just told me, ‘“we hope you don’t get billed, but you could contest it…Why, you don’t want to contest a bill?” There shouldn’t be another bill for a service I already paid for number one. Why would anyone just wait and hope they don’t get a bill? That’s absurd. Not to mention that could happen, and you’d still be stuck paying it. The worst/ shady service I’ve ever dealt with. Then, I get into the office and they tell me I don’t need to redo the test which was also false information… I still need the test, unfortunately.Furthermore, If you have insurance, they say they are contracted when they absolutely are not. You’ll end up paying over 50%. Better off waiting for an appointment with offices that accept your insurance for sure.
This is the best planned parenthood I have visited. The staff at the front are amazingly nice and the nurse and doctor that helped me were exceptional at their job. I never once felt out of place and everyone there was so nice, made sure I was taken care of every moment I was there. Such a great environment.
For some reason the nurse spent 20 minutes lecturing me about the difficulty of finding me in the system because my name is “too unique” and then while trying to schedule a follow up, they told me my only option was 11am, after stating i could do any time of day other than 11 due to school but apparently that wasn’t an option??
Have been here several times for routine exams. Most of the time staff are friendly, compassionate, and helpful. They have the same bureaucratic pitfalls of any modern medical institution however. In one case they gave me slip to get blood work done at a lab. They forgot to sign it and when I called them to have them verify with the nurse at the blood lab that they had ordered the blood work, they refused without an explanation. Maybe they was a good reason...I may never know. PSA: many other clinics provide the same STI screening services. I just tried to schedule an appointment with planned parenthood and theyre book 2 weeks out. If youre a woman and actually have family planning issues, not other sexual health questions, this may very well be the best place to go I presume. Good luck out there!
Ive always had good experiences here. Today was one of the best. Great people and everybody is so helpful and care about their peoples needs.
From the front desk to check out, staff was inviting and kind, and extremely helpful. There are tons of resources here, beyond what we required. Free condoms and menstrual kits for those that cannot afford them. My wife had a basic consultation without insurance, and the cost was extremely reasonable at 59$. Very impressed. Thank you!
Good experience. Staff was professional and helpful. The facility needs to be cleaned better. The floors are a bit gross and everything is dusty. Would appreciate more cleanliness.
Amazing Staff! I wouldnt choose any other place after experiencing such a caring, friendly, and professional atmosphere. ❤️❤️❤️You will be listened to and taken care of here! 10/10
Got a vasectomy done here, and had a blast, they let me watch the whole thing, and I got to keep my little bits, we had a lot of laughs and it was a great experience. 10/10 would snip again!
Cancled my appointment twice, first time they mixed up my friend and mines info and they canceled it because they clearly were too lazy. Second time apparently they didnt have the doctor on that day.. In just needed my birth control refilled. Never again.
My lab results were delivered much later than was necessary. The woman I spoke to on the phone about a billing dispute was condescending and rude. Very disappointing experience.
They offer extremely available and professional health services, as well as education and a staff thats the warmest there is! I love Planned Parenthood!
20 minutes past my appointment time. Still sitting here. The most depressing music ever on the speaker system. Was told 20 minutes ago it would be another 8-10 minute wait.
It is a great public resource for health checkups. One that has helped many in the community here and elsewhere as well.
I am thankful for the services you offer too our community so you guys earn five stars from me
Very helpful, knowledgeable, and was a pretty good experience for me.
Super mean people
Why bother making an appointment? They are never on time with it. Receptionist was rude and careless. Absurd.
Awesome staff, excellent services for a wide range of needs.
Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and kind.
Amazing and supportive people. ❤️
Great resources and wonderful staff!
