My girlfriend went in to get a different birth control pill than the one she was currently on. She made an online appointment and showed up, only to find out that the appointment she made was only intended to renew her current prescription. Annoying, but ok. So she rescheduled for about a week later. She shows up and has the exact same conversation with the counterperson as the last visit, telling her she needs to reschedule again, only their availability was booked out over a month later and shes only now being told there isnt another option for her anyway. Waste of her time. I recommend walking in to make an appointment or even better, find a different clinic with better communication and organization. Thats what were doing anyway.
Everyone I encountered with was very kind, patient, professional and helpful. Thank you all very much for your help and your time. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Doctor Pat, you’re the best, along with the nurses and receptionist. I truly do appreciate all you’ve done. Keep up the great work 🖤
I had tried to make an appointment about concerns with my birth control. The phone operator was very cavalier and just didnt care. They gave me an appointment so far back that it wouldnt be helpful and would actually cause more issues. I tried to ask to be put on a cancellation list if anybody canceled an appointment and they told me there was no way to do that.
They usually do a good job with your medical needs overall. Some of the staff could definitely use an attitude adjustment though. I have called a few times before to make an appointment, however, with my last phone call to make an appointment, the receptionist was quite rude and told me I needed to give her all kinds of unnecessary information. I couldn’t immediately provide this information and she just very rudely hung up on me.For what ever reason, Since I have two last names, they have two separate files with separate information from different visits. Almost every time I go in they tell me my insurance is expired (even though it isn’t) I always have to remind them about the two different files and how they need to correct it with my current insurance.Other than these complaints, most have the staff have been very helpful and friendly and I hope to continue seeing them for my feminine health needs.
I called trying to get my birth control sent to a different pharmacy the brand of pills got changed when bimart closed and the new pharmacy that I went to prescribed a different brand that landed me in the hospital 3 weeks later. The nurse I talked to at planned parenthood wasnt even concerned and just told me I need to give it a longer chance. Not helpful and they dont care about your health.
I have in general never had a bad experience with PP. The staff went up and beyond for me answering every last question while helping me on 2 seperate occasions. I always leave there feeling more in charge of my body as well as more informed. Thank you for having my back PP! I will say Come Early!!
Such a good experience here! Staff were all very friendly and helpful!
As someone who is all for the support Planned Parenthood has to offer, I no longer am.I went to this clinic to feel comfortable and when I was seen there was absolutely no doubt I was comfortable. However, I received a call about a week later, letting me know that my cells are abnormal.Ive always been healthy, and cautious, and when I received a phone call this morning with them letting me know, I wasnt in the best spot to listen to what the woman was telling me. I got bits and pieces of it. So i had free time and private time to call the clinic back and I wanted to speak to the woman who called me. I got sent to her voice mail. I left a message, and didnt get a phone call back, so I call again because being told that your cell are changing and that it can be leading to cancer eventually isnt the most exciting thing that you can have happen in your day. When I called back, she woman who transferred my call was rude, and very uninviting. Im sorry Im inconveniencing you and your JOB.So I get ahold of the woman who called me. Her name was Bethany. I ask her to explain to me again what she told me earlier and everything was one worded and short. I could hear the annoyance in her voice, and I was ASKING her for INFORMATION, that I didnt receive, and was very RUDELY asked Is there anything else you need.YES I NEEDED YOU TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS FOR ME.Im not stupid, and I work hard. I went to a free clinic not because I was poor, or a druggie. Im not pregnant or have kids. I dont do drugs, I dont smoke, and I have never had an STD.i UNDERSTAND human anatomy, but I feel like if youre going to working for a free clinic where there are people who dont understand medical terminology, and havent been taught what to look for if there an issue, YOU SHOULDNT BE WORKING THERE.Im absolutely disgusted at how I was just treated, and my view on this place has changed. I was left crying, on the phone and im sitting here trying to google whats wrong with my body.It may sound stupid, but its not to me. You press at how Women have the rights to their body, and you press at how we are to be treated right.Please.. Tell me how I was treated appropriately. Thanks for leaving me unsure, scared and unwelcome.
Always leave upset/ unsatisfied from this clinic 🥺 recommend booking at Springfield location if you’re able to, they’re very friendly and helpful when feeling overwhelmed about anything
The staff really cares about you here. It seems the main complaints are from people who were late, so to solve it get there ten minutes early! Even if you have to wait longer, these people are most often under staffed so just be patient. I have never had an issue here. They are always quick and kind in my opinion.
They wont answer the door 15 min before they close so they can leave right at 6 which is supposed to be their closing time. Pretty unhelpful especially on a Monday when I couldnt come for the past two days.
For the most part gracious and informative. Little hiccups here and there that could be avoided with better attention to details. Usually fixes issues when informed. Scheduling is always tight and unforgiving. But if you show up early, things go smoothly.
Planned Parenthood is a great organization that does amazing things for our community. I always feel welcome, comfortable and leave informed and confident my healthcare is in good hands.
I went in nervous having never been here before but they were very friendly and helpful and helped me find the right birth control for me. They even offered std screening for free, and gave me free condoms.
I never got the same information twice. While seemingly friendly, not one person was able to answer my financial questions.Definitely disappointed in what I thought was an awesome organization.
Did not call me with my test results and did not bill my insurance although I provided all the information correctly.
SHOW UP EARLY!!!!! BECAUSE OF COVID PRECAUTIONS YOU NEED TO CHECK IN EARLY OR RISK LOSING YOUR SCHEDULED SPOT!!!BUT! THE CLINICAL STAFF ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, CARING AND UNDERSTANDING. THEY WERE NOTHING BUT HELPFUL.
5 minutes late to an appt and had to wait 2 hours to get seen. 100% would not recommend.
Staff was super kind and knowledgeable.
Staff was so kind and informative.
Good service 👌
