I established care with Dr. Wolfe for a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage in 2023 so I didn’t have an appointment quite yet with him. When I became pregnant in January of 2024, I set up an appointment with him again. I delivered our sweet baby girl on 9/24/24 and my experience with Dr. Wolfe from the beginning was nothing short of remarkable. He listened to my concerns after our miscarriage and was thorough through each step of my pregnancy care needs. During my scheduled elective induction, I was seen by him, along with his two partners who are also at the Women’s Clinic, Dr. Ramos and Dr. Cancino, who ultimately delivered our girl and helped coach me through the delivery process. Both Ramos and Cancino were wonderful to receive care from as well. I always felt heard and supported and as a first time mom, that was extremely important to me. I definitely recommend either of these providers.
I went here throughout my pregnancy two years ago. I meant to post a review sooner, but better late than never and I hope sharing from my experiences can help others make informed decisions for themselves. The bad: The first several appointments I had, I left holding back tears until I got to my car and broke down. One doctor, who still works here as a hospitalist, was so rude, out of line, and borderline cruel in how she spoke to me during the one unfortunate appointment I had with her. She should not be working with pregnant women or any vulnerable population. Another physician was also very rude and unkind (example: chastised me for being 5 minutes late to an appt, when I called ahead of time to notify and was otherwise always punctual). She no longer works here. Many of the nurses were brusque, only two that I encountered were genuinely kind and welcoming (one of which was Dr. Tools nurse). The front desk staff was also sometimes difficult to deal with. I was told multiple conflicting things about billing and payments and struggled to navigate administrative matters with them. The good: Before trying a different clinic altogether, I switched to one more doctor here at the recommendation of a family friend. Dr. Tool was wonderful. His approach blended corny puns, compassion, and expertise in a way that always put me at ease. He took great care of my son and me and I could tell he genuinely cared about his patients. Unfortunately he no longer works here. The ultrasound techs are also amazing. They are so kind and knowledgeable, and will take the time to show you all the cute and interesting things there are to see of your baby. The midwives are lovely as well, though I was unable to see one long-term due to having a high-risk pregnancy. The clinical director seems to care about patient experiences. I enjoyed the classes we took. All in all, I dont know if I will go back here for future pregnancies or other womens healthcare needs. Even while seeing Dr. Tool, I felt uncomfortable in the building due to the extremely negative experiences I had. If I do go back, I would likely ask to see Dr. Krause, as I encountered her in the hospital and she seemed very compassionate and knowledgeable.
Highly recommend the midwives as my experience with them was amazing! All of them were kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and just overall great. They took every concern and/or question I brought up seriously and I felt truly cared for from beginning to end. They followed my birth plan without hesitation and always put me and my baby first. It truly felt like I had an army of strong and loving women who wanted nothing but the best for my family.
I was able to make an appointment within days of getting my referral, fortunately for me it was for something simple/routine. I was pleased nonetheless. Front desk staff was friendly, I had my paperwork done before I came into the office and I was seen for my appointment with hardly any wait time. Very professional. Very clean. I will use this office again!
Women health is such a vast topic, wildly underfunded and understudied, yet something we as women deal with daily. Finding a provider who understands this, meets you exactly where you are in life and offers sound, patient centered advice is extremely challenging…Lora Bureau, PA-C is just that. A compassionate, supportive and caring provider at The Women’s Clinic. I am grateful to her for the time spent discussing all questions and concerns, never feeling rushed, and being offered choices in ways to participate in my own care. The front desk and scheduling ladies were also wonderful! Friendly, kind, informative and lightened the room. The practice has been great to work with and I’d feel confident referring anyone to this dedicated group of advocates and health care professionals.
Every staff member I have dealt with has been efficient, friendly and professional. They are all very smiley and want to make sure that your visit goes well. The treatment/procedure staff make sure that everything is explained and that you have no questions prior to leaving. I always feel valued and cared for when I am at the Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado ❤️
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Stockburger. She is theee best OB I’ve ever had. She always takes time to listen to concerns and has fantastic bedside manner. She makes you feel so important as a patient. I always felt that my baby and I were beyond safe in her care. Her nurse in the office is also fantastic! Love them both!
Top notch women’s heath service from the minute I called for an appointment. I waited about 3 months for my appointment and it was worth it. Every staff member was engaging and very nice. The doctor knew about me before she entered the room and I felt heard and understood. My heath is in good hands now.
I have seen Dr. Reeve and Carly for all 3 of my babies and recently just went back for my annual after not seeing them for a year. They remembered small details of my oldest (already 6) and make you feel like more than just another patient. I appreciate how efficient they are (mom of 3 and working I dont have time to wait around) while still not making you feel like they are just rushing through. They are the absolute best and Im so happy I had them for not all 3 pregnancy journeys but with care moving forward.
If you are looking for an incredibly knowledgeable and caring lactation expert, Jennifer Hoover, IBCLC, at the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado should be your first (and only) call! Breastfeeding as a first time mom started with some difficulties and was very overwhelming, time-consuming, and painful straight from the hospital. After about 2 weeks I was ready to give up and try something different but after seeing Jen, everything changed for the better! At our intake appointment, she took time to listen to our story and trials up until that point. She met me where I was at, focused on our goals for feeding -short-term and long-term, and helped us problem-solve to attain them. Her recommendations and insight centered our mental health and nurturing connection with our baby and within one day, our little girl was exclusively breastfeeding far better than ever before! We are so thankful for Jennifer’s generosity, expertise, and thoughtfulness that helped us enjoy the process and time with our girl so much more. Highly recommend her for any lactation needs!
I have been going to tis clinic for 6 years and I rarely get good service. This time, they refused to schedule me an appointment because I needed to send the clinic provider an apology email asking to be reinstated as a patient. I never missed a payment and I was never notified of my discharge as a patient. Activity in my account backed me up. Explained that I found a lump in my breast and they still would not schedule me. I had to write Karen if I wanted to be even scheduled. Will not be going here or telling ANY woman who wants to be taken care of to go here.
I love the Womens clinic! Stesha IronsHas been my midwife for many years. She delivered both my kids over 16 years ago and I have been going to her ever since. I love the kind care that I receive from her and her staff at the womens Clinic!
Worth the Wait. And wait I did… they were running about an hour behind on their appointments, I had a 9:20 got there at 9:00 to complete my paperwork but wasn’t seen until almost 10:30. Everyone was professional and polite and made every effort to assure me that I was next. The facility is world class, and the capabilities are above expectations. I was able to conduct two appointments with one visit (wellness and a mammogram) I was seen by a PA, who are highly qualified. I highly recommend this facility as a primary care provider for any GYNO.
PA Roxanne was one of the most caring providers, I have come across in recent years… I feel like she listened to my concerns and came up with a plan to address them extremely well! So glad she was recommended to me
I absolutely love Brenda Vondy and her medical staff. I have also seen some of the other midwives nd doctors and they all have been amazing. They are always so kind and caring. They listen to your concerns. I ESPECIALLY LOVE her MA Zeruiah. She has gone above and beyond for me over the years and has the biggest caring heart.
Im so grateful for Dr. Krause, nurses, and staff at the womens clinic. I have been struggling with undiagnosed chronic pain for 17 years, with very few doctors who took that pain seriously. Once I learned about endometriosis through my own research, the pain started to make sense. I took all of my symptoms and hunches to Dr. Krause, who listened to me and HEARD me from our very first appointment. She validated my pain and respected my autonomy and never questioned, doubted, or dismissed me. Within 3 months of working with her, we had our hunches confirmed through a successful surgery she performed and now I am experience pain relief for the first time in years. Thank you, Dr. Krause and everyone at the womens clinic!
Everyone was friendly and more importantly concerned about you as a patient. When I first entered the office, from the receptionist, mammogram technician, nurse to the doctor, every single person was attentive, listening and more than helpful. Dr Somodi-Stephenson was so thorough, intelligent and listened to all my concerns. What a fine young doctor I am lucky enough to be able to see. Thank you, Phyllis Nakagawa
I started going to the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado in March/April when my husband and I got pregnant. My first appointment was to do ultrasound and then I believe second appointment was when I met with midwife. She told me I had the choice to continue with midwives or see if I like provider better. I chose to continue with Dr. Edelman, and I am so glad I did! She is very kind, thoughtful, very personable and easy to relate to! Molly, the nurse we see is awesome as well and completely personable and outgoing. They both are just very bubbly people like myself. My husband isn’t very outgoing till he gets to know someone, and just gets very timid and quiet at any type of appointments. With Dr. Edelman and Molly he can be himself but also come out of his shell. Once they started laughing I knew it was a good fit. We are excited for the upcoming birth of our daughter and hopeful Dr. Edelman is for sure going to be the delivering her!
Love love Dr . Abbey. I bring my special needs daughter to see her as well and she is just wonderful with Michelle. Everyone is so sweet and understanding in this 💕 office.
The Women’s Clinic in Loveland made me feel extremely comfortable. They listened to all of my concerns, and made sure to address everything. As a first-time patient, my doctor was wonderful and helped ease my worries. They had very friendly staff, and an incredibly clean office. I would HIGHLY recommend The Women’s Clinic in Loveland to anyone.
Amazing experience here as a new patient seeing Dr. Wolfe. He was extremely caring and thorough in addressing my issue, and all of the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful as well. I would definitely come back!
For years, Ive trusted The Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado for genetic counseling, cervical cancer screening, mammography, and general womens care. The staffs compassionate approach and professionalism shine through in every visit. The upbeat atmosphere and cleanliness further enhance the experience. Despite considering a switch to UC Health for other care, the exceptional service here ensures Ill stay. Highly recommended.
The staff is welcoming and efficient. My experience with Dr Krause was one of the worst I have had. To say that she had little concern about my problem would be an understatement.
The doctor was knowledgeable and so friendly. I have not had many women doctors, so she was a pleasant surprise. Her nurse was very personable.
My reasons for going to the clinic were stressful for me. These women were truly a tribe of kindness and empathy. They were so patient and empathetic with me that it truly changed my outlook on not just the day, but how I felt about all that I might face. Exceptional! Truly.
Clinic provides service well and were great.Billing seriously needs to be fixed, my partner and I had to review the bill together after both viewing it seperately. It would be a one star but those not responsible for the online transaction choices of the owners shouldnt be viewed poorly.Online billing that requests all of a patients data be entered and then has an open amount to be charged with no relation to the clients bill in question is crazy and could easily be used or mimicked for fraud and scam behavior by malicious parties not to mention honest typos. The billing phone line having to reference this work around is even more crazy. Needing to triple check that you went to the right spot because an invoice is not associated on the digital platform should be fixed.
Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable. Ive been going here for years and never had a less than great experience. The facility is modern and clean and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and doctors.
Yesterday was my first time a WCNC and I will have to say I had an amazing experience I saw Amanda and what a personable human !! I would highly recommended anyone to see her. She answered all my questions put me at ease and sincerely took the time to talk. Never did I feel like I was rushed or just another patient of the day. I am very please with the front desk very easy check in and the nurse who took me to the room. Thank you all so much and I will surely be returning
I have been a patient there for 16 years and have always been happy with the care I received. Dr. Priebe is great, he was my provider for years through my pregnancies. And I have seen Stesha Irons and u love her. She is amazing. Takes her time, and thorough and compassionate.Thanks.
I love this practice. I see Abbey for HRT and she is the best! She listens! She’s not rushed, she’s evidence based and she’s collaborative! Could not ask for anything more.
Vanessa Vasa for the win!!! Couldn’t be happier with her. I feel terrible that I can’t remember her name, but whoever did my mammogram was amazing as well! Kind and compassionate.
Dr. Bragg is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He is to the point and knowledgeable. I saw five other doctors who treated me like a street-level druggie when I was having excruciating back pain. Come to find out, I hade a rather large calcified uterine tumor pressing on my spine. Dr. Bragg addressed the pain, scheduled surgery for removal of the tumor, performed the surgery and now I am no longer in pain. Dr. Bragg followed up the next day, gave me some solid advice, and that was the end of it. I highly recommend Dr. Bragg if you want accurate, concise medical care.
My partner and I went in a few days ago for a possible endometriosis diagnosis and for a possible historectomy. The doctor was completely dismissive of our issues, despite an extensive history of ER visits. The only way we were able to get her to agree to even a diagnostic laporoscopy was to agree to taking her recommended Birth Control. This is beyond unethical, bordering on harassment. To further the issue, she mentioned yo be willing to approve a tubal litigation right then and there, which does nothing for the problem. Ultimately, it feels as if this place lets their doctors personal beliefs override the facts on how to help their patients.
If you want intelligent, professional yet unbelievably kind and personable doctors, nurses and staff? They are truly amazing, I feel blessed and grateful to have found them.
Very friendly, professional, speedy and efficient front desk staff and clinical staff. Provider was knowledgeable and very good at explaining things to me in a way I could understand easily. A very satisfying visit.
I was absolutely impressed with WCNC - the staff was amazing , kind and very respectful. Dr. Slayden was amazing. I am so glad I found her - she was certainly an answer to prayer and on the road to feeling better.
Keri Ferguson and staff are so great to have as health care providers, they’re always very nice and thorough. I appreciate their patience and willingness to listen without rushing my appointment time, and help give suggestions on treatments and follow up care based on the approach that is most comfortable for me.
Dr. Wolfe is a lovely human, extremely caring and competent doctor, and a fierce patient advocate. Cannot say enough to thank him and his staff.
Professional and courteous staff. Very little wait time. Mammography department was amazing. The website says We specialize in womens primary care..., however I have been there twice and both times I was told I need a primary care provider. I thought that is what I was establishing, unfortunately I was wrong and will start the search over again.
I took my 86-year-old mother for an appointment with Dr Ramos. She was fantastic. As were all of the staff members we interacted with from scheduling to assisting. Very prompt, kind, patient, thorough, and very clear in explanations. We could not have been more pleased!
Some days you spend in “too long” in your garden that it’s a rush to get to that appointment! Whoops! I called WCNC let them know I’d be 5-10min late and they let me know they have a 15 min window, which really helped me today. It was a good thing I called because they had me scheduled for an ultrasound in Loveland - a part of the confirmation text I had missed! When I arrived at the FoCo location, they had me rescheduled for a new appointment right away with Madonna in Imaging and right after that for the reading of the images with Dr. Ramos. I dont know what magic they worked on the back end but I am so impressed they were able to fit me in like they did! Everyone was really pleasant and professional, the office is always clean and tidy with all the resources for feminine appointments. I appreciate Dr. Ramos listening to my concerns, explaining how my body is working and any effects of procedures, medicines, and biology. As a 31 year old cancer survivor shes helping me manage anxiety over female body parts, hormones, and potential early aging due to chemotherapy. I have enjoyed my time with the WCNC office and they were forgiving of the errors on my end!
I went to the women’s clinic for 7 years complaining of pelvic pain, pain during urination, pain during intercourse, and extremely painful periods. They did ultrasounds but never detected anything. The more I would come back complaining of the same symptoms, the more they stopped listening to me and said “your body’s probably just trying to have a period”. Later when I tried to get pregnant and was u able to, I went to a fertility doctor at a different clinic who reviewed my notes and medical record and when he met me for the first time he said “you have endometriosis”. Not once in the seven years I went to the women’s clinic has anyone ever mentioned that to me. I had never even heard of it. It turns out he was right. I had surgery which confirmed his diagnosis. (It cannot be detected by ultrasound) I honestly cannot believe that a women’s clinic never even mentioned this as a possibility given how clear I was about the symptoms and how many times I went back over a seven year span with the very clear signs of endometriosis. They treated me like I was crazy and hypochondriac for repeatedly coming back with the same symptoms. They repeatedly told me my ultrasounds looked normal but a doctor should know that endometriosis cannot be detected via ultrasound. It’s astonishing how terrible the care I got was for something very obvious to anyone in the medical field w a basic understanding of a woman’s reproductive system. When I got pregnant I went back to the women’s clinic and the midwife was off on my due date by three weeks and I had to repeatedly tell her that was incorrect and she acted like I was dumb until she realized she was using her little circle calendar chart thing wrong. I left and never went back again. I want to add that when I had surgery to remove the endometriosis it was denied by the insurance because a fertility doctor diagnosed me instead of a primary care doctor. I fought it and presented my many years of medical records from the women’s clinic showing their incompetence and I won the case and the insurance paid for it. My hope for anyone reading this is that whomever your doctor is whether it is the womens center or elsewhere, you advocate for yourself and trust your instincts and not allow a doctor to make you feel stupid or paranoid for having concerns about your health. Also, dont trust that a place that specializes in women actually has your best interest at heart or will give you the highest level of care you deserve to be getting.
I have been a patient at the Womens Clinic for many years. I have always received excellent care. I have had the privilege of having Bev. Donally, Roxanne and Stesha as my medical team. I have received the best care - that is both professional and compassionate. I would not consider another option. Everyone in this Clinic have been amazing. I recentlysaw Stesha for an appointment and thought as I was leaving how much I appreciate this place and its people. Later that day I was speaking to my daughter about my appointment and how happy I was to see Stesha. My daughter mentioned how kind and smart Steshas daughter is as they had gone to similar schools. She said, Well, I know where she gets it from!Absolutely!
From the scheduling staff, the receptionists, nurses, labs, ultrasound techs, and providers- everyone is FANTASTIC! Very thorough, personable, polite, knowledgeable, and genuine. For such a busy place, they really take their time with you and care. Any time I’ve ever had an issue with literally anything it’s always been handled respectfully and timely. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Dr. Hoff is exceptional! She has the best attitude and made my less than pleasant labor/delivery manageable. I cannot recommend her enough! My daughter and I are so grateful for her care.
Dr Reeve is an incredibly brilliant doctor. She knows her stuff!! Her bedside manner is unmatched. She takes the time to truly listen & understand what her patients need & want, a rarity these days.
Beautiful environment. Calming, clean, updated. Great variety of services offered. Thankful for 3D mammograms. Love Kerri Ferguson as my nurse practitioner. So thoughtful and very well versed in her field. Great location. Easy to find.
I’ve been dealing with awful pain from my filshie clamps for about 10 years. I’ve been pushed away by so many doctors. Not to mention the other lady issues I’ve struggled with. Dr.Stockburger is an angel! She addressed everything immediately. My life is changing thanks to her.
I moved to Fort Collins recently and have seen Vanessa Vasa, NP for two well woman checkups and an IUD removal. I love that shes warm and approachable, but also direct and concise. Visits are short, as they tend to be with medical providers, but I have always left knowing what I want to know and satisfied I have asked all the questions I needed to ask. WCNC staff have helped me easily make it through 3 insurance changes and appointments are usually on time.
The doctor that I dealt with was very professional and I so appreciate her for that. The office staff was just as nice and the atmosphere was just as calming. Thank you!
Jessica Bare, MD is my go-to for women’s care. Her professional skill and personal attention provide the best care!
I saw the midwives (Alyssa, Julie, Amanda) at the Women’s Clinic for my second pregnancy and was very pleased. They take the time to listen and I never felt rushed. I saw Dr. King for a version and she was also amazing!
I so appreciate their seeing me quickly. The entire staff — both medical and administrative — are caring, empathetic, understanding and devoted to patient welfare. I’m visiting from out of town and feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Priebe’s practice.
I was very disappointed in the care I received at Womens Clinic. Although the front desk and scheduling staff were friendly and helpful, and the space is modern and clean, the providers left a lot to be desired. The MA who greeted me was unfriendly, very brief in her words, and did not listen to what I explained to be the reason for coming in. She incorrectly described my concerns to the midwife I later saw, and both of them made the assumption that I didnt need to be there. The MA was also very gruff in her language, immediately stating I need to get a large cuff when we got to the room and ignoring any attempt I made at small talk. Stesha herself also started with the assumption I didnt need to be there, which was a bad way to start a visit. I was trying to finish up the paperwork I was given and she said it wasnt necessary for my visit, crossing out pages for me without asking for a full history. She listened to me explain my reason for coming in and very quickly did an exam, only telling me what she was doing a couple of times rather than explaining the steps she was moving through. She jumped to conclusions about options for what I should do rather than asking me for my opinion, and I think she could tell that I was put off because at the end of the visit she apologized for moving too far ahead. Overall, I felt my voice was not heard, I didnt know what was going on during the exam (other than guessing from past experiences), and I got the strong impression she didnt want to deal with me. I received a call a full week later with test results from someone else at the clinic. Not what I am looking for in a provider for an intimate part of life, on every level. If I return to the clinic, it will not be to this provider.
I went here recently for my first wellness exam, and I was incredibly anxious about the situation. Right out the gate the staff were incredibly friendly and gentle and overall made for a calm environment! The pelvic exam took maybe 5 minutes and the provider was super patient and polite! The pap smear didnt hurt, despite it looking really scary I was very surprised how little I actually felt! The breast exam lastly was the only part that hurt even in the slightest and thats just because they were sore that day! The provider clearly had read my notes and made sure to put my worries at ease! Bless my provider Vanessa Vasa, she was an absolute pleasure to work with, thank you again!
I have been seeing Christine Snyder for my care, she is kind, sympathetic, respectful, listens to my concerns and actually talks to me like a person. She is a doctor I trust, and coming from years of being dismissed, having her in my corner has been night and day! I am so appreciative of her skills and being the amazing doctor she is.
I absolutely love the Midwives at Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado. My absolute favorite is Eva! She delivered my first baby and now is getting ready to deliver my second. She really takes the time to listen to me, and offers great advice. At this point I think of her more as a friend.
Going to the womens clinic for my annual appointments is more like going to visit friends. I feel like they really care and are interested in not only my health but my personal life. PA Roxanne is the best!
The doctor took the time to talk with me extensively about my issue and also gave me a variety of options for treatment. She was caring and kind which I really appreciated after a very negative experience with a gynecologist from another practice.
I have been seeing Siri Rennie, NP for a few years now and I have never felt so comfortable, heard, and confident in my health care anywhere but the Womens Clinic of NoCo. Thank you for providing genuine and educational care with each visit.
Awesome job, every person here was so amazing! Left feeling much better because they are knowledgeable and set your mind at ease. This is the way every medical center should be! Thank you!
First visit - the Dr Priebe was nice and informative however his nurse had a major attitude problem. Other than that it was okay
My doctor was very empathetic and took her time working through some issues I’m having. She made sure we explored all options and never made me feel like I was taking too much of her time. At the end of the appointment, I was confident that we arrived at the best solution.
Dr Wolfe was amazing!! Knowledgeable kind and took thr time needed to hear my concerns.
Laurie in the scheduling department is fabulous. I felt heard and understood and she worked hard on my behalf to find the right time for my appointment. She is a treasure and I hope you will send along my praise for her excellent customer service as she went above and beyond.
My experience here has been nothing short of superb. Every time I showed up for an appointment, the staff was incredibly sweet, helpful, and just plain awesome. Dr. Snyder is WONDEFUL! Upon our first meeting, she was attentive, supportive, and receptive to my wants. She performed a total hysterectomy on me yesterday. The procedure went beautifully. I felt safe and well cared for by both Dr. Snyder and the surgical nurses at PVH. Dr. Snyder has many years of experience and it shows. She just came to check on me and took the time to answer my questions and even hold my hands. This lady is a rock star. The Womens Clinic knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you, Doctor, for everything youve done for me.
I have been coming to see Dr. Christine Snyder for YEARS! She was my doctor in Colorado Springs and now I drive to Fort Collins from the Springs just for her! She is the absolute BEST. I trust her with all of my medical needs and refer her name anytime I can! She is very understanding, patient and just a wonderful listener! HIGHLY recommend her!
I have found a perfect practitioner- a great listener, honest, a charming sense of humor, and sincere warmth.
I felt right at home at The Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado. My awesome OBGYN Dr. Somodi-Stephensen was so gentle, kind and thorough. I appreciated how helpful and determined she was in helping me feel better.
When I discovered I was pregnant I booked an appointment at the Women’s Clinic. After going through some initial questions and covering insurance information that explained how much we would have to pay for the birth, we went to have an ultrasound done. They told me without any preparation “there is no heartbeat.” It was devastating. My baby was not alive. They gave me information to contact a support group and then they were done with me and did not return calls for medical advice in a timely manner. They did not care that I had to have a DNC at the hospital after which I got a painful infection that I went to urgent care for because I knew at this point the clinic would not be responsive. I was too busy dealing with the complications and devastation to reach out to the support group. I would NOT recommend the Women’s Clinic, it was a terrible experience and they only care about you if you have a viable pregnancy. If there are complications you are on your own.
This was my first time visiting the WCNC and my experience was great. The staff are all friendly and professional. Abbey, my PA was superb. She was patient, she listened to all of my concerns, answered my questions and put me at ease throughout the whole process. I will definitely be using this clinic from now on.
Office staff is fantastic, but pretty underwhelmed that my medical tests results (briefly delivered over the phone) dont show up in the Patient Portal at all. This seems like a pretty basic level of functionality to support. Will not be returning here.
I have been a patient with WCNC through two high risk pregnancies one in which I was hospitalized at 23 weeks so I got to meet a majority of the providers most of which I felt very comfortable with. Dr. Wolfe, however, has been my primary since I met him at the hospital during my first pregnancy with them. He is absolutely wonderful, and immediately put me at ease through one of the scariest moments I’ve been in. He always took time to make sure I was doing okay and was always open to answering questions and I have never felt rushed or dismissed with him. I can honestly say as someone who has seen many doctors in a myriad of fields he’s one of the best docs I’ve gotten to be treated by. I’ve also never heard another doc be so highly spoken of by their colleagues, which is so reassuring when you’re trusting someone with your and your baby’s life. I moved out of state and still came back to see Dr. Wolfe for my next pregnancy. During my second pregnancy with them I had the same complications and I felt truly cared about and was given excellent care and additional resources when I was struggling. Getting through that last pregnancy was rough but I was always given time to discuss whatever I needed, all my feelings were validated, plans were talked over and all my questions answered. I just can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Wolfe.
Dr. Christine Snyder has been an absolute angel. After many years, several doctors and scary ER visits searching for answers I found the WCNC and scoped out all the physician profiles. Dr. Snyders profile spoke volumes to me that she has done far more than just obtain a college degree, and that she is a researcher and would get to the bottom of my condition. I have never experienced such a caring patient side manner with a physician in an office setting before.I was right Dr. Snyder got me the answers I have searched years for within a total of 2 weeks. I now have a treatment plan and step to take to find relief.Dr. Snyder is an absolute asset to WCNC, to patients, and to women. I appreciate that she took the time to sit down and explain everything in terms I can understand without dismissing my concerns. She has been so empathetically supportive through the whole process. Hope to continue to be her patient at WCNC for the foreseeable future.
This clinic and my physician here provide real care: I can make appointments and just simply make contact with a staff member when necessary. Dr. Krause is an intelligent, skilled physician who does complete evaluations, provides and discusses options and follow-up. This physician and clinic are important to this community, and I am very satisfied with my care.
Everyone at the womens clinic is friendly and professional. I especially like my PA, Vanessa. She is knowledgeable, patient to answer questions, and has a very caring manner about her.
Roxanne advises me on my hormone needs and she is the absolute best. Every time I see her I feel like I am seeing a friend. Very real and extremely knowledgeable. I am really glad I found her.
Dr. Hoff is absolutely amazing! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in all topics, she has a great way of making you feel comfortable and welcomed. Cannot recommend her or this facility enough!
Each time that I have had an appointment, from the moment I check in until I head back down the elevator, I feel cared about, respected and heard. Roxanne Slayden is so incredibly thorough and makes me feel like she’s been a friend for years.
The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado is a wonderful practice. Everyone is so friendly and there are many great providers to choose from if you aren’t able to see your regular one. Checking in and out is always easy and I feel like I always get the attention I need.
The doctor dismissed my pain and changes in my period. Her notes were incorrect and put me on birth control with zero exam. She was concerned more with a review from the New York Times than me as a patient. Dr. Edelman is not worth your time!
Womens clinic of Northern Colorado has a very efficient staff who seem to flow along at a fast pace, however, the entire process felt very rushed throughout Including the time spent with the doctor. Other staff kept coming in and out of room asking her questions about other patients. In addition, I requested that Id like my estrogen level tested in my blood test. I was pretty much told no. I have very expensive insurance and at the very least if I want to have my estrogen levels tested then that is what I should get. After all, I am paying for it. Right? Didn’t get that. This was my first appointment at the Womens clinic and I doubt I will be back. Pretty disappointed, and very minimal performance. Nothing great.
Roxanne heard me in a way no other doctor has for the last two years. I came in today packed with all the facts and research I’ve done, ready to fight for my right to hormone therapy- and instead of having to debate and prove my case, I was embraced by a brilliant, insightful doctor who listened and understood me completely.Words cannot express my gratitude.
Everyone is attentive and pleasant. Vanessa Vasa listens to concerns and addresses them with compassion and knowledge.
I saw Julie the widwife for most of my appointments and luckily she also delivered my baby. My husband said it best when he said, “I could tell your dignity and care were her top priority, she was very professional” the birth of my daughter was a dream come true and that’s was all because of Julie! She stayed on the path of my birth preferences and made birthing an amazing experience. I was so comfortable in Julie’s care.
She was just as Nice as Dr Bare is thats why i go to this clinic for 30 years
I am not one to ever do a review but I HAD TO for this. My wonderful PCP had told me to go to a gynecologist because I have a large cyst. I found this Clinic (women’s clinic of Northern Co) I had my first visit yesterday for them to go over my Cyst and to recommend treatments, see what kind of cyst it was and to let me know of the situation. The ladies at the front were amazing. The one I spoke to was super helpful and sweet. Once I was given my intake paperwork I moved over to the waiting area. The nurse then pulled me in and took my vitals she was very kind as well. Shortly after the PA,Lora B. ,I was seeing walked in at first she stuttered to say my name as if she didn’t even read my chart. Then she was asking me questions that were ALREADY in my chart from the referral. She questioned me and my PCP saying that my medications are not reasonable and also told me that my family must be sensitive, because we all have cysts in our family that end up getting a Hysterectomy because they are so bad. She also didn’t know anything a doctor should know. I have Keratosis Polaris (which is when your body doesn’t know how to properly disperse keratin, so it deposits it into your skin and makes it red and bumpy) I had to explain to her what it is and I felt like I was the doctor. She rolled her eyes at me a few times and treated me like she just wanted to go home. She couldn’t give 1 care in the world about me. For my ovarian cyst she only told me that it’s my birth control and I need to change and explained the options- she didn’t explore any other areas of what my cyst could be and I just felt to upset that I wasted an hour of driving for her to not care and say to just switch bc. I will never go back again.
Front office staff was so polite- wonderful. I showed up 5 min late, no paperwork. I was willing to wait, apologetic, and would have rescheduled if they would have answered the 5 times I called to let them know i was running behind and ask if was ok to still come. The nurse brought me back immediately (I expected id wait my turn because I was late so I did not have a single minute to start forms as they took me right back- i thought this was great! Now i really need to hurry with forms!). I immediately preemptively apologized that forms were not completed and said it was my fault and i would hurry to get them done. She very rudely made comments about how I could have done this online. I apologized and said she was right, I was aware of my mistake. I apologized again. She then peeked at my forms and said oh. You didnt do ANYTHING. Well get undressed and the doctor will be in. And I said, I dont even get to meet her first? Or like talk a little? And she said, No. This is how we do it here. Mind you, i had not even had a full minute to complete paperwork- as i was told no, now i need these forms so i can do my job and you can finish after im done. They had zero knowledge of my medical history before telling me to undress. I am not shy, however I have generally at least been greeted by a doctor and asked about my concerns before undressing. I asked her very kindly if she could be kinder and let me complete forms. She told me to hit the button when I was ready and walked out. She proceeded to go into the hallway and call me a pain. Mind you, I was 5 minutes late. I drove from another state to come to this office and called 5 times to make sure i was ok to come still. I understand my fault, but to treat a patient with zero respect, dignity, or empathy is unacceptable. I left my appointment and will find emergency care somewhere else. I work in medical and I know that its annoying when patients are late, but that is unacceptable.**update. See their auto generated response below. They dont care. If they did, I would have received a phone call, not an auto apology. Apology not accepted. They also had security follow me out of the parking lot. Dont go here. Thank God this appointment didnt happen. What a nightmare.
I will make my review as brief as possible. I wish I could give 0 stars. This ‘practice’ almost cost me life (and very well still could). This place is the worst. I switched OBs to this horrible place when I moved back to Fort Collins in August 2021. I was in my third trimester. I was assigned to Dr Wolfe. I was a fairly high risk pregnancy being that I was almost 39 and knew I was going to need a c-section. When I noticed a lump in my breast i immediately brought it up at my next check up. Dr Wolfe and his team/nurses seemed COMPLETELY unfazed. Never asked me about my family history and NEVER ONCE did a breast exam. I was medically gaslighted people!!!!!! I told them multiple times. It was getting bigger. I HAVE A LUMP IN MY RIGHT BREAST!! (I said this at at least 3 separate appointments) And no—never ONCE a breast exam. I felt that Dr. Wolfe didn’t care. He wanted to rush through every appt with me. I was getting worried. Before I knew it, it was time for the scheduled C-section at PVH. Ppl—it took the nurses and doctors at PVH to actually listen to me and notice my right breast. It did not look well. Things moved fast. I was diagnosed w stage 3 breast cancer only 6 days after my daughter was born. To say I was in shock is the least of it. A year later I complained and Women’s Clinic did NOTHING. Yes they “listened” to my concerns. But Dr Wolfe is STILL on the staff there! He’s still a practicing doctor. And get this- they acted like Dr Wolfe was going to donate to my GoFundMe and he NEVER did. What a terrible human. And the kicker of it all? I now have stage 4 breast cancer. It’s gone to my spine. That means it’s terminal. Avoid this place like the plague. It may save your life!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wolfe. He has been supportive, professional, and thorough from the moment I transferred my care to him. We had struggled to get pregnant for years and had experienced several losses, but Dr. Wolfe continued to be encouraging and caring throughout our ups and downs while making sure to quickly respond to all of my questions and concerns.Fast forward, we recently had our beautiful little girl and I couldnt have imagined a better birth experience. My care throughout my pregnancy and labor and delivery was top notch. It is apparent that Dr. Wolfe is passionate about what he does and he truly cares about his patients. I am forever grateful for him.
I felt so incredibly comfortable! The most comfortable pap Ive ever had. I will definitely continue to go The Womens Clinic for all of my gyno needs.
Every provider I have seen there is fantastic. Caring, welcoming, informative and I never feel forced or judged on any part of my care. I started coming to this clinic(Loveland) when I was pregnant with my first and saw Dr Bare, she was amazing. I am now pregnant with my second and am seeing the midwives and they are equally amazing! I refer all my friends and family here
Dr Abram listened to my concerns. And acted on them. I am pleased and feel I am in good hands.
I have been going to the Womens Clinic for more than 50 years. Their care has always been excellent. The physicians, and staff have always been very knowledgeable, competent, thoughtful, kind and considerate. I couldnt ask for more.
I see the midwives here and they are truly the best. Janessa was amazing during my delivery and Julie helped me a lot through my pregnancy (and after), I am so grateful to both of them! If you’re thinking of going here, you should.
Dr Reeves is the best! She is caring and highly professional in her knowledge.
I have been asking to have a tubal ligation done since I was 23 years old. I’ve never wanted children and finally finally I’ve found a doctor who will do it. She made sure I understood that it’s irreversible and that I’m sure about my decision but she didn’t question me when I said no, never asked me about my “future husband” nothing. I appreciate this office so much. Even when I walked in, the front desk staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. Would recommend 100%
Dr.Christine Synder is very caring, very knowledgeable, and thorough in exams as she explains the procedure, and treatment choices,My appointment with her was a great experience; her treatment has changed my life, now I can travel, hike and dance without padding! Thanks Dr, Synder!!!
I cannot help but share an excellent review. I am consistently impressed with the care I receive in this office. Stesha is absolutely fantastic. My care never feels rushed and she always remembers small details about my life, like what I do for work, that just make it feel more personal. I went to another office last year for care and couldnt wait to come back to the womens clinic and see Stesha again this year. Shes excellent at what she does, theres no doubt! She answers questions well and never talks down to me or leaves me feeling uninformed. The desk staff has also always been nothing but friendly, polite and helpful. 5 stars all around. :)
I had a wonderful experience with PA Lora Bureau. She spent a lot of time answering my questions and was so kind and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this clinic!
Love this place! I cant recommend Dr.Wolfe enough! I hope to have him as my doctor for life because he is just hands down the best. He has been so great to have through an ectopic pregnancy that required emergency surgery to a full term pregnancy with hypertension and treatment of an abnormal pap. He has a wonderful way of making me always feel cared for and safe and has a warm personality on top of it all. Dr.Wolfe is a blessing to have in the womens care field! His MA, Amanda, is also amazing! She takes the time to engage in genuine conversation with patients furthering the welcoming feeling and you can tell she knows what she is doing. All around every staff member from ultrasound technicians to front desk has been great!
Doctor Hoff is absolutely fantastic. My nana saw her a few weeks ago, and thanks to Dr Hoff’s early diagnosis and referral, she quite literally saved my Nana’s life. It was great for our family to know our Nana was in the care of such a wonderful doctor. All the staff was so helpful, kind and organized. Thank you to everyone at the wellness center for such a great experience during a scary time.
Venessa is one of the best providers I have ever had. She goes above and beyond to make each patient feel heard, supported and genuinely cared for. It can be hard to find truly great providers and she takes the cake! Highly recommend anyone to come here!
Yesterday was my first time at this location but I had Dr. Bare as my surgeon at Poudre valley hospital. She is amazing! I have never felt more listen too, and respected. I hope to keep seeing her for future needs. Also the front desk ladies that helped me, were very helpful and sweet! Overall a great place!!
I absolutely love the staff!. Everyone here is very professional. They listen to my concerns and really care about me!
The staff are warm and welcoming - always greeted with a smile. I’ve been to many ob/gyn’s looking for the right match and WCNC is it for me - I highly recommend to anyone that has a fear of doctors!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Bragg took time to answer my questions. I am very glad my doctor referred me there
I met with the Nurse Midwives at the Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins. My prenatal care was always excellent. As first time parents, my husband and I always felt like no matter which Nurse Midwife we met with, they had the time to meet with us, talk with us, make sure we felt heard and at ease. My birth experience was wonderful and I truly cant thank Janessa and Julie enough for everything they did. I am so grateful to have had the natural childbirth I wanted with the support, guidance and reassurance I needed to make it a comfortable experience.
First off, the nurse that helped me was wonderful, absolutely amazing! However the billing department was absolutely awful. They began billing me, and attempted to say that they had already sent my bill to my insurance, and that my insurance did not pay for any of it.Getting birth control was my sole reason for having this insurance, and I had checked 5 times that it would be covered before going in. According to my insurance company, they did not receive anything from the clinic until 3 months after my appointment. Meanwhile, Karen in billing at the clinic had been offering me a self pay discount that was less than what insurance would have taken off, while saying that she had already contacted my insurance. My insurance told me otherwise. After reading the other negative reviews here, I called the number that had been listed for the clinical director instead of leaving a review. I received another call back from Karen in billing, the exact person that I had a problem with originally. After finally receiving a statement of benefits, I paid the remainder. The clinic proceeded to bill me for charges that had not been listed previously. I finally paid because they have been billing me for months, and refuse to reach out to my insurance - Which isnt surprising, considering they did not want to bill my insurance in the first place! Personally I found it pretty sketchy. Feels like they bill at a premium and forgot to send to insurance, in order to make me pay more. Who knows, but be careful if you go here. I certainly never will again.
Using The Womens Clinic during my pregnancy has been one of the best choices Ive made! I chose to see the midwives and they are amazing! Ive spent the majority of my appointments with Julie, Cassandra, and Tricia. They are amazing, patient, and kind. Every question or concern Ive had has been met with kindness and genuine care. They are also super knowledgeable and informed which put all of my first time pregnancy concerns at ease. Id like to mention that they are not pushy at all when it comes to your birth plan, they simply talked to me about it and want to accommodate me and my baby for the healthiest pregnancy and delivery.I would highly recommend coming here for your care!
SO efficient. They’ve got it together! They respect your time! I had an appointment at 8:45 for both a mammogram and a Pap smear, I was in my car on the way home by 10 am. The BEST practitioners, especially Stesha Irons-Call. And so kind in their care. LOVE The Women’s Clinic.
Dr. Coffman is the only reason I am giving two stars instead of one. She was very thorough and respectful in my two week appointment and her treatment of me while stitching me up after delivering my baby the weeks prior. Dr. Reeve, on the other hand, should seek training on how to deliver vaginal breech babies. When the OB who delivers your child has to step out of the room immediately afterward because she was that shaken up is a huge red flag. Breech babies account for nearly 4% of pregnancies, yet most doctors have no clue how to deliver them vaginally, which is why they all resort to c sections. I would rather Dr. Reeve tell me she didnt feel comfortable (it was clear that she was fearful and nervous) delivering my child vaginally than her perform a vaginal exam, episiotomy and immediate cord clamping on my baby (all without my consent or knowledge by the way). What a horrific experience for the birth of my first child. Why I chose a home birth in the first place, but my midwife couldnt deliver her with her being breech. Stupid Colorado laws. That is an entirely different rabbit whole. Pregnancy and birth are NOT medical events, they are natural processes that OBs are not trained for. If you want a medicalized pregnancy and birth, with all sorts of meddling and interventions and management from the staff, this hospital is the place for you! Otherwise, stay away and find a home birth-based midwife. Trust me, they care WAY more than these hospital folks who are a part of the system.
I absolutely love WCNC, I went here when I was pregnant with my son 16 years ago and had a great experience, I changed providers for convenience and recently came back for a procedure and now can’t believe I ever left!
Dr. Philip N. Priebe, MD delivered my daughter and I could not have asked for a better doctor. He is patient, kind and takes his time to explain things to you and make sure things are done correctly. All of the OB doctors and staff I saw with the woman’s clinic were amazing.
I scheduled to get my IUD taken out and replaced. my doctor Stephanie, and her nurse/assistant, were absolutely wonderful to me. I think the assistants name was Terra (or something with a T). she stood by my side, held my hand, encouraged me, and tried to distract me during placement. they were understanding, patient, and helpful with everything. I wish I remembered their names because they deserve the world!!!
I just had my first appointment with Dr. Hoff for a sterilization procedure. I am over the moon! She was extremely understanding and respected my bodily agency. She made a point of checking in to see what would make me most comfortable and made the whole process insanely easy. I would recommend this clinic and provider to anyone that has been struggling to feel heard by medical professionals.
Great experience. Holly is very kind , sincere and compassionate.Holly is the best!!!
Love this place! Very organized and professional. The office staff keeps things flowing easily and without any confusion. I go to the midwives and love their bedside manner and I never feel rushed. The office nurses are also great! When I actually had my baby I felt very taken care of, I also had a couple doctors from the practice take care of me due to complications and truly felt well provided for and cared about! Going there again for my next baby.
I am a patient here and have had nothing but great experiences. Sadly, today I went with my roommate for her first appointment with any gynecologist, and she saw Alyssa, a nurse midwife. The experience was horrible and we left both in awe of her condescending language and lack of compassion. My friend was scared and nervous and expressed this before they started the exam, but Alyssa did not acknowledge these concerns at all and made it more uncomfortable for my friend than it already was. I don’t know if she was tired or it was just close to the end of her work day, but it was so disheartening no one should have to experience that lack of interest and so much intimidation. None of her concerns were addressed and we were not taken seriously whatsoever. I have loved this clinic, but this review is a caution to anyone looking for a provider there to steer away from this woman specifically, especially if you have any type of past trauma that could make you tense or nervous.
Very good experience and i will like to thank doctor cancino a lot because she is a very good and kind doctor
I have had nothing but negative experiences with the Women’s Clinic. I initially went here looking to change the method of birth control I was using and was lectured by a midwife for about half an hour before she finally agreed to take out my IUD. After coming to the emergency room at Poudre Valley Medical Center (the attached hospital to the Women’s Clinic), I was balanced billed for a surgery I received from one of their doctors after being assured by that same doctor that would not happen. Following my surgery, I tried reaching this doctor’s nurse to ask questions about my follow up care and had a short and terse conversation with her where she would not actually hear out my concerns and outright dismissed them. Then at a follow up ultrasound to the surgery, I was scheduled for a doctors appointment without my knowledge following an ultrasound where the doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me to say “everything looks normal. The surgeon will follow up with you at the appointment you have in two days” and I was charged over $100 for those few minutes. This clinic does not care for women. They care about making money off of women. I have never felt so dismissed and uncared for in a medical experience - but then again, this is common for women in the medical world. I share this experience so that other women can find care where they are actually heard.
I am never disappointed with the care and service when I have an appointment with the WCNC. My Doctor, Vanessa, always offers the best advice and is just extremely personable during my appointments! She has a knack for making what could be an uncomfortable situation pleasant and simple. I highly recommend this clinic and especially Vanessa.
Dr Krause is wonderful! She is caring, thoughtful and always has time for questions. Would recommend her 10/10 for GYN and OB.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! :) The midwives are all amazing! Had my OB care with them as they all work together- I got to see all of them throughout my care and it was a guarantee that one of them would be at the delivery, which was awesome! I truly felt cared for and loved that even during my hospital stay they still went into the room to check on me and baby! Julie ended up being my delivery MW- there are no words to describe how amazing she was/is!I want to thank all of them!On that note- I highly recommend the Midwives.
The woman’s clinic of northern colorado is the very best clinic I have ever been to. I would recommend it to anyone at any time. They truly treat you like family and make you feel at home in every way possible. Another nice thing is that the wait is never long like with most doctors offices. I would drive/fly any distance to go to them, you will be well taken care of there. I wish I could rate them with a million stars
The staff at check in and check out were very kind and was a simple process. Dr. Snyder and her staff were courteous and listened and answered all my questions without judgement. (Ive felt judge in other offices). Highly recommend.
While the lovely ladies at the front, and the wonderful ultrasound tech were all very sweet and caring, Dr Christine Snyder was anything but. In the LITERAL 30 seconds I saw her, she came off abrasive, uncaring, snide, and seemingly careless. I don’t know if it was because they were past closing or my case just wasn’t that “interesting” but I can count on both hands the amount of words spoken to me by her. I’m in miserable pain and was basically told “suck it up”. I would rather chop off a finger than return to her “care”. I will be seeking out care else where and recommend anyone else needing help to avoid Dr Snyder.
This was my first time coming to you guys. I asked to see a female doctor, and that’s exactly what I got.Unfortunately I had a breakdown before, during, and after the exam, for personal reasons. My doctor was so very understanding, transparent and supportive the entire time. Now my uncontrollable tears didn’t have to be comforted, my doctor didn’t have to try and settle me down. She didn’t have to go that extra mile, but she did. She was very comforting the entire time, even though I was having a breakdown throughout the process. She answered my questions to the best of her ability. This experience was a very traumatizing one for me, but not because of the doctor. My doctor was very comforting and I’m happy she was the doctor I got.I want to say thank you, for truly trying to comfort me, you didn’t have to, but you did. My tears might have said otherwise, but without the support I got from you, I probably would have been an even hotter mess, which is hard to imagine, but true.
A great clinic with a very friendly staff! I see Dr Hoff who has been incredible! Both her and her MA are always cheerful, kind, and Dr Hoff is very knowledgeable! She has gone above and beyond to make sure I am aware and comfortable with everything concerning my baby. I feel safe and in good hands when I come to see her!
Laurie Stegner is the most amazing receptionist is truly exceptional. She did such an incredible job helping me. She went above and beyond in our call. I felt extremely cared for as well a heard. Please give Laurie the biggest hug from me and a raise.
Our family has received so much support from all physicians and staff over the 6-7 years we have been to the WCNC. Dr. Roberson was my physician for my first pregnancy (with twins) and was amazing. She listened with patience, provided trauma-informed care, and validated my experiences throughout the 6-7 years of receiving care from her. I highly recommend Dr. Roberson, Dr.Hoff, and the WCNC as a whole.
Im disheartened by the negative reviews on here and would like to note my positive experience. I have seen Dr. Vance for about two years now and she will be my doctor for our current pregnancy also. Dr. Vance delivered my daughter via C-Section in 2014 and performed another surgery for me this year. She is kind, caring, and has an abundance of knowledge in her field. I also enjoy ALL of the staff from the receptionists to the ultrasound technicians, everyone has been courteous and timely in my time with the clinic. Additionally, I feel that they go above and beyond with patients as I have experienced this myself. I cant imagine using any other clinic and continue to drive an hour for every appointment because of my experience.
Dr. Wolfe and his nurse Amanda are amazing! They are patient, kind, and completely dedicated to helping figure and work out what is best for me as an individual - I greatly appreciate this personal attention and care. I’ve had a few medical concerns that numerous doctors could never figure out or resolve, but Dr. Wolfe has been persistent in researching and finding the best solution for me, and has resolved my chronic abdominal pain. Through my pregnancy, and labor, Amanda helped me to remain at peace, and calm through my fears, worries, and the pain of it all - she is a very great lady. I’m so grateful I found them and hope that I will be able to be their patient for the long run.
Stay away from Dr. Stockburger!! I had an ovarian cyst erupt in June, 2022 and was told this normal, not to worry, my body would know what to do. Well after 4 weeks of constant pain and going back to her THREE different times, she finally sent me to the ER. She promised me that she would get the bottom of what was going on; however when the ER doctor and on-call hospital doctor (Dr. Bragg) told me that I was being a whimp she completely dismissed me AGAIN. I received a 2nd opinion from a different clinic and ended up having my ovary removed due to an encapsulated cyst that was the size of a chicken egg. I will NEVER trust the Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado again.
Went to my very first appointment yesterday and was well pleased. I was nervous, but the midwife was extremely nice and reassuring. I am excited to continue working with them in the future.
Everyone was nice. Dr. Roberson was really nice and good at her job. I went to a doctor at associates in family medicine before and couldn’t complete my Pap smear test as it was so painful. I decided to go to Dr. Roberson and she used smaller tool on me and was so much more gentle and she knew what she was doing. I’m so glad I found her!
I just recently started going there due to an emergency. I met with one of the midwives (Lani) and she was wonderful, sweet, caring, understanding, and supportive in a very hard time for me. I then came back to see her for my yearly exam.I started having some issues so I came back and saw Stesha who is a Nurse Practitioner and again had a great experience. She wanted to do some blood work and put me on a short bout of birth control. When I got the call about the blood work the Medical Assistant left a confusing voice mail. I called back with a few questions so I left a voice mail for the head midwife. I then a few days later got a very rude, unprofessional, and harsh voice mail from the Medical Assistant saying that I didnt know what I was talking about and implying that I dont listen and that I was stupid. I was very upset because I also work in the medical field and I know that is no way to treat a patient. I called back the next day and was able to talk with Diana who I believe is the Clinical Manager. She was SUPER understand and very apologetic. She listened to my concerns and agreed that the voice mail I received was uncalled for and that she would make sure it wouldnt happen again in their office. It was so refreshing to be heard out the way that I was and Im grateful to have had such a good turn out from a very frustrating and upsetting encounter. The facilities are wonderful and everyone other than the specific Medical Assistant I have had great encounters with.
Terrible experience. Little backstory is that my wife was pregnant and she was looking for a new primary care doctor, she was referred here so we thought to give it a try. first visit was good, but unfortunately there were complications that eventually lead to a miscarriage. We received no care and was only told that they need to draw blood and follow numbers down to zero with no explanation as to what they mean. Did not do any ultrasounds, we did not once get to even talk to our doctor. As this was our first pregnancy we had lot of questions but had to resort to looking on google for answers. they still would not help us even with asking for a doctor due to additional complications. Add on top of that the fake care that they provide telling every woman that they are glowing like they are reading off a script. Every person said the same words in the same way, not convincingly. We went to a different doctor and after telling them our experience here they were appalled and with the way we were treated I agree. Would not recommend for anyone to go here. I believe the treatment we received borders on medical malpractice due to incompetence. I can only hope that others have been treated with more dignity and respect than us, but imagine is only the case when pregnant and ready to spend money with them.Want to give an update. After talking to the manager of the clinic which apologized for our situation but offered no real way to fix the situation (which in my opinion is an empty apology). We have continued to recieve exorbitant bills. Charging well over $100 for less than an hour of talking, and not even talking to a doctor. So far with a new doctor we have gotten real answers, real help, and been charged far less. This all confirms that this clinic only cares about getting their money and not the care of their patients.
Staff and physicians at Women’s clinic of Northern Colorado are fabulous! So kind caring and gentle
Roxanne Slayden is the BEST! She truly cares about each of her patients and makes you feel so comfortable with whatever you may be dealing with. I truly believe she is one of the best Women’s health providers out there. I couldn’t recommend her more.
I recently moved back to the area and established care at WCNC. My experience was positive from the first phone call to schedule. Each individual was pleasant, knowledgeable, and considerate. Dr Krause was excellent. She took time to hear my concerns and questions and offered thoughtful, evidence based responses. I am so thankful this clinic was recommended to me and I will absolutely recommend it to other gals.
Dr. Krause is fantastic! I found her through a University of Michigan alumni search and am so happy she had new patient availability. She gives you all of the options but ultimately leaves decisions in your hands. I like that she doesnt make you feel bad for not doing a breast self-exam every single month even though you know you should! She is also very warm and has excellent bedside manner. The front desk is great too and doesnt rush you along like a sheep!
Starting a family has always been a dream and I knew I didn’t know a lot but had not idea how much I truly didn’t know about having a newborn and how I could provide for that little bundle of joy. I delivered my son and soon after was referred to Jennifer Hoover for lactation. The doctor referred her because I had a reduction and breastfeeding was going to be an uphill battle. I didn’t even think of this I just thought have baby feed baby. NOPE. I came to Jennifer’s office and she was so knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. It’s not an easy thing to breastfeed for the first time and it’s not easy to do in front of someone that has the title of lactation consultant on her door. I was so worried so was doing it all wrong. She gave me tips she helped me learn more about my body with my baby and didn’t give up when she heard the words breast reduction. She was patient and worked with me tirelessly to get my son fed but in the end I couldn’t do it all on my own so I added some formula but also breastfeed. She taught me so many ways to help increase my limited supply and reassured me it was ok on the hard days. I was able to breast feed with limited supply for 10 months. This wouldn’t have happened without her. If you are pregnant and are considering breastfeeding I would I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer Hoover.
From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt incredibly taken care of! The staff, nurses, and Nurse Practitioner I saw (Vanessa) were wonderful. Vanessa took the time to really listened to all of my concerns, and together we formulated a plan of action for my health moving forward. I had a small procedure done, and she talked me through the entire thing because I was so nervous. I even had to get blood drawn (and I usually get sick or pass out). The phlebotomist was so good at her job that I was thanking her at the end of it!! I am thrilled that I found this office and will recommend them to all of the women in my life. Well done, WCNC... your office is a perfect example of how patients should be treated!
Ive been going to womens clinic for about 8-10 years. I started with midwives, loved Cassie, shes no longer there. I saw midwives through my pregnancy in 2015. Everything was great with all except Alyssa. To be honest, if it wasnt for my labor and delivery nurse, my daughter probably wouldnt be here because Alyssa was hateful towards me through my entire pregnancy and into delivery. Fast forward to 2020, I was seeing Lani (now retired), I had increasingly worse pelvic pain. Her solution was to get back on birth control, and lose weight, she was less than 6 months from retirement and brushed me off. Fast forward once more to 2021... I switched to doctors, saw Dr. Roberson, she has been absolutely the best Dr!! She has been proactive in helping me and I was diagnosed with endometriosis via a laprascopy she performed 2 1/2 months after I started going to her! Ive recently had to have a hysterectomy for my endometriosis, which she also did, and I just really cant express in words how much she has helped me and what shes done for my quality of life!! Also, her nurse Amanda in the clinic has been so helpful and kind through all that Ive been going through! All in all, the womens clinic has been great in guiding me, listening to all of my concerns and helping me making sure my health comes first!
Dr. Tool is an exemplary specialist. Over the almost 20 years Dr. Tool as cared for me, he has diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis and treated me with the wide range of treatment Ive needed. Dr. Tool diagnosed my year-long menipausal migraine and relieved me of them.Dr. Tool had never sent Mr away untreated, rather has continued to try different treatments until my medical issues have stabilized.I honestly do not know what I would do without Dr. Tool, Donna, his nurse and the rest of the team. Thank you for allowing me to give a shout out to Dr. Tool and Donna for !allowing me to live as normal a life as possible!
When I went to this clinic, I guess the nurse called out because I had some assistant taking my vitals and asking questions. She asked if I wanted my ovaries removed and I told her my oncologist referred me to get them removed. Then she came back and asked if I also wanted the tubes removed and I was frustrated because I am not familiar with the procedure. I was glad when the doctor came in and was very informative and compassionate.
Keri is kind and patient, she answers all your questions. I don’t feel rushed when I’m in the office. I feel that I’m important and that she takes the time to hear me..
My girlfriend made an appointment here a couple of days ago and was called today only to be told that because of an unpaid $30 co-pay she didn’t know existed, they would no longer be continuing care. We’ve moved since the last time she was in so we didn’t get the mail they sent, and as far as I know they made no effort to call her about the unpaid bill. No voicemails. No calls. Nothing. They made sure to make an effort to tell her she could no longer be a patient though. It’s also clear to me that she wasn’t super comfortable going there. They made her feel like her issues weren’t a big enough deal to justify being there regardless of the pain she was feeling. I would think that making an appointment due to pain from cysts would be fully justified regardless of severity to make that sure something more critical wasn’t an issue, but she told me on more than one occasion how much it discouraged her from going back. Even if that wasn’t the intention, clearly not enough care was taken to make a patient feel better about something sensitive.I’m glad all it took was an unpaid bill of a trivial amount to get her to look elsewhere. The problem is that she needed to get in to get a pain in her ovary checked out and everywhere else is booked out for months. So now we’re sitting here hoping the problem doesn’t get worse before she can get in somewhere else. Also, I saw the absolutely comedic response from The Women’s Clinic to another person regarding forwarding their bad review to their attorneys. Whether his comment was slanderous or not and even if they do have legal ground, it really shines a TERRIBLE light on how they conduct themselves. From what I’ve heard as a 3rd party, it’s just par for the course.
I used the Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins for both my kids. I had the midwives, and they were awesome.I also had a procedure that involved Dr. Roberson at the Womens Clinic about 3.5 years after I had my kids. The front end staff was very helpful. All the questions about how much I needed to pay and when I needed to pay were answered right away. And, when I went to the incorrect clinic (I was supposed to be in the Loveland office) the front desk staff called the other office and made me an appointment for 30 min later so I could get myself to the right office on time. Dr. Roberson and her nurse, Amanda, were also very caring and knowledgeable about any question I had. I would recommend the clinic and the staff to anyone looking for good care.
I highly recommend this clinic! After moving here seven years ago I was so happy to have found Roxanne Slayden, she gives a thorough exam, even looking between my toes :-) Roxanne makes eye contact and really listens to what I say, she takes such good care of me. I have referred many people to the clinic because Roxanne has helped me so much with my hormone imbalance.. Everyone loves her :-)I might add, Pat does the mammography and shes awesome! Its so nice to be with someone who has experience and makes you feel comfortable. Womens Clinic is a great place!
From check-in, The Womens Clinic was friendly and professional. I was especially impressed with Roxanne Slayden, the PA i met with. She really made me feel listened to and empowered me to make my own health decisions, with her guidance.
I went for my annual well women exam and I was told my insurance was not accepted. It would have been nice to of known that when I scheduled my appointment and told them I had switched insurances. My insurance covers preventative exams 100% regardless of in or out of network, isnt that what the Affordable Care Act gave us? It didnt seem like I even had the option to go forward with the appointment because the receptionist stated, There would be no way to bill this visit. I have had great experiences at this clinic prior, needless to say, maybe it would be helpful for staff to be more educated on how to handle a situation such as I experienced.
As a first time mother my experience at the Womens Clinic was wonderful. I saw the Nurse Midwives throughout my pregnancy and uncomplicated delivery at PVH. All the women I saw always went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered, taking as much time as needed for the appointments. Additionally, I took several of their online virtual classes during my pregnancy including prenatal yoga, birthing preparedness, and newborn care.I would highly recommend the Womens Clinic.
I used to have nothing but praise for this clinic, but that has changed. I agree with another reviewer who said that they are mainly interested in you only if you are pregnant. I usually see Peggy, who is wonderful, but due to her having an extended absence, I had to see Lora for my yearly well-woman exam. From the beginning, I had a very uneasy feeling and didnt care for her bedside manner. I think the main thing she was interested in was giving me a lecture about discontinuing a medication that i have been on for almost 20 years that has helped keep me healthy through and after menopause. I felt VERY rushed through the appointment and she absolutely acted like she was doing me a favor by being there. Also, when I requested a flu shot, she informed me that they are only furnishing flu shots to their pregnant patients, hence, my opening sentence in this review. Although I have been a patient here for almost 20 years, I dont deserve the same amount of care available to younger patients? Thoroughly disappointed.
Dr. Bragg is hands down the best Dr. I have ever had. He listens to your concerns. Very smart and knowledgeable. He is the best!
I am really surprised by the bad reviews. Ive had nothing but a great experience here. I see the midwives and I am very happy. There are 4, and I have a couple that I like better than the rest, but thats kinda how things go. As far as ultrasounds, and that sort of thing, I think the other reviewer may want to check with her insurance, because that is who determines when you can get them unless its an emergency. I had my first at 12 weeks. The U/S techs have been great, and the staff has been really wonderful about getting me in when Ive had scares or things that they have felt I should come in for right away, like same day. Ive never waited more than ten minutes in the waiting room or in the treatment room when I have an appointment. If they have had to squeeze me in, I may have had to wait a half hour at the most. I cant say anything about the birth yet, but Im sure that will go really well as I will be delivering at PVH, and have heard nothing but amazing things about delivering there.
Dr. Krause is the best doctor Ive ever had. She delivered my second daughter via Csection and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. She has such a calm, soothing bedside manner and kept me relaxed the entire 9 months! The nurses are also sweet and quick to return calls.
Theo was my midwife and she took the time to learn my history during the appointment. She listened to everything I said and took those details to order the right tests. I look forward to working with her again.
UC Health has essentially monopolized northern Colorado, so I know they are difficult to avoid, but you should if you can. They will be unsupportive and dismissive of your concerns. They will push you to do unnecessary lab work based on assumption and not the reality you convey. They are checking their own boxes and not interested in taking care of you at all.
Medicaid patients are mistreated and avoided as much as possible. Dont care for you if you arent paying full price! Stesha Irons Kahl couldnt care less about giving me good, complete care. This office gave me the run around for weeks on a follow up meds appointment letting me go weeks without crucial HRT meds causing serious impairment to my health, all because Im on medicaid. Dont mistake that busy office for good womens care, profiting is all thats happening there.
I cant say enough good things about Dr Wolfe. He saw me on an emergent basis and took such good care of me. He helped me out with my problem until I was able to make time for surgery. Hes a smart, skilled surgeon with terrific bedside manner. I trust him implicitly. His lead medical assistant, Amanda, is always super helpful and kind as well.
Always have good experience there. Everyone so friendly
This review is in no way written in an effort to seek response from the practitioners or staff of The Womens Clinic of Northern Colorado. I will address the specifics of my concerns about their care and service directly to them. I would, however, like to provide a brief review of my recent experiences at this practice so that other women might make an informed decision about whether or not this is the right practice for them.I found that scheduling was quick. My appointment ran on schedule. I did receive an annual mammogram from this practice. The woman who conducted my mammogram was wonderful, professional and very pleasant and helpful with good information throughout the imaging. However, that was the extent of the successful interaction with this practice. I found the practice to be strictly provider centric. After I made my appointment and had my mammogram I was repeatedly reminded that it was highly unorthodox for me to seek mammography services there without taking all of my annual well woman care there. This was repeated each and every time I contacted their offices through the conversations to arrange for additional views and biopsy.Despite being allowed to book my own test and clearly stating that I was seeking to be a new patient, I was not assigned a doctor and when I asked to speak with a doctor about my eventual biopsy results I was told that they were doing me a favor by even having a doctor look at my results. The entire encounter was confusing and communication about their expectations from me as a new patient seeking my first ever mammogram was sorely lacking.I believed that in scheduling with them and indicating that I was a new patient and that I was seeking my first mammo I would be matched with a doctor that would guide me through the results and provide some sort of professional opinion. My baseline showed abnormal areas, further views and biopsy were ordered. Once results were in I was informed that you have to make a special appointment for an exam in order to speak with a doctor. The staff was impatient, rude and pretentious. I ended up being forced to seek the services of another area physician to interpret my results and advise me as to any need for surgery to remove the abnormal areas. The whole situation was stressful and worrisome. The need to seek medical advice at another practice led to additional delays in getting resolution to the worries and additional trips away from home to Fort Collins for interpretation of the biopsy.I will not be returning for any care from The Womens Clinic.
Please, please, please do your research before going to this clinic. They were very dismissive of my concerns of pain. She (Vanessa a nurse practitioner who works at the clinic) ordered a structural ultrasound. After the ultrasound, she did not call me to tell me what structures looked normal and what structures looked abnormal. She had an assistant call me instead. Her assistant was very unhelpful and could not answer any of my questions. All she kept saying was “you have a cyst, come back in 6-8 weeks”. I’ve already been dealing with symptoms of pain for the last five months. I am giving this clinic one star because of the total disregard of my symptoms and how dismissive they were of my questions. The call from the assistant, (I think her name was Jennifer) truly made me feel under valued, especially coming from people who are in a profession of caring for patient’s medical needs. I’m also writing this review so that no one experiences what I experience at this clinic.
First off, I want to say I am NEVER one to leave reviews, but I cannot even begin to express my frustration with this clinic. The latest with them is that they keep sending me a bill for $600 which was never processed through my insurance (I confirmed with my insurance company) for an EMERGENT IUD removal. I have called them so many times and no one has gotten back to me about it. It has been 3 months. They also wrongly diagnosed me and told me my diagnosis was “definitely sure” and 6 tests later proved them wrong but they refused to acknowledge their mistake.I have also been having irregular, extremely heavy periods and hormonal issues for over two years now and every time I talk to them about it they legitimately tell me it’s normal. It’s not normal to pass blood clots the size of the palm of my hand. Went to a hormonal nutritionist who was appalled. She did labs, found out I have extremely high levels of estrogen and is helping me. My periods have started to normalize.I also have been diagnosed with uterine polyps, ovarian cysts and a differential diagnosis of endometriosis, but still my heavy bleeding that was causing me to be severely anemic was considered normal according to them.Do not go here if you can help it. I have had so much emotional pain and turmoil over everything they have put me through.
I was seen by Laura Bureau. She was very patient and took her time to understand my symptoms. She was very very knowledgeable and confident.
I have been seeing Dr. Krause for years and I just love her. I have had some weird issues arise and a complicated birth and I am so thankful she was there at delivery and has continued to take care of my health needs. She is so calm and honest and lays out all the options and will give her recommendations, but will always let me decide what I want to do in the end. I highly recommend her
Both women who helped me were incredibly kind and patient.
Ive literally never written a review before but I feel compelled to give my input to my experience here. I have a long, frustrating history with doctors - getting my records lost or mixed up, having doctors not even bother to make eye contact with me, or they laugh at me or even insult me (I wish I were kidding..). Im ALWAYS anticipating getting talked down to whenever I go in.However, this (my first) visit at the Womens Clinic was the first time I felt respected and well cared for. Not only was the nurse kind, but she LISTENED to me. I know most visits are generic for some doctors and its the same treatment over and over, but not once did I feel like I was another patient on a chart. I saw Dr. Wolfe who - albeit I was hesitant to see a younger doctor- sat down and TALKED to me, addressed my concerns and made a game plan going forward. Not one doctor in the last 3 years has done that - despite me asking and pushing. I literally almost cried in the exam room, just because the doctor and nurses took time to listen and talk TO me, not at me.I cant speak for other doctors (as my experience has been doctor specific issues), but Id recommend Dr. Wolfe any day. For the first time, Im not dreading going back to a clinic.
Absolutely ridiculous! My girlfriend has been in severe pain for multiple days and weeks, they’ve given her multiple meds and NOTHING has changed her headache it’s only gotten worse. They sent her over to the OBED to be further evaluated. Dr Preibe did the work up on her. He came in and told us that he will do an MRI but if it comes back fine then they will induce as it has some signs of pre-e. We went and got our child situated had people call off work to be there to help us. I arrived back at Poudre Valley hospital with everything ready to have a baby just for dr Krause just to say that they’re not going to induce. Why aren’t drs on the same page why is okay to lie to your patients and change something that severe around! Is her pain not enough to step in and do something! Let’s just send her home to sit in more pain to the point where she can’t even get out of bed it’s so bad. But yet it’s okay for her to be in pain but as we were told it’s not enough and the symptoms aren’t what they are. Such a wonderful place😒
I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel that members of the community should know our experience and hopefully it helps shape their decision in the clinic they choose to use for their pregnancy. This “private clinic” came highly recommended to us by friends and family when we found out my wife was pregnant. Here’s the things we experienced that were the fault of the clinic’s administration that may or may not have directly affected our very complicated pregnancy.1.) My wife was experiencing some pregnancy complications that we called the clinic about, it was an hour before closing time on a holiday weekend, where they sent us to the ER because “they didn’t have her blood type on file” my wife knew her blood type at the time (we found out they are supposed to get labs drawn at intake but missed this step)They sent us to the ER to get a Rogam shot (which could have easily been administered at the clinic if they knew her blood type for around $100.) Our ER bill was $4k. I confronted the administration about it and they apologized for the missed lab work and the situation and offered to pay for our next ultrasound visit in the clinic. I was mad, but accepted the offer.2.) We called the administrator who offered to pay for the next ultrasound the day before our appointment to remind her of the agreement. It is confirmed that they’re going to take care of the visit. A couple days later we find out that our insurance was billed for the visit they said they were supposed to be paying for, and they can’t reverse it until it goes through.3.) My wife was experiencing extreme back pain after being diagnosed with preeclampsia and HELLP so we called the triage line in the middle of the night to see if we needed to go to the ER or not. (We has been there 4 days prior for the pain) The triage nurse asked a few questions and said “it’s probably gas, you need to get some Gas X” so I ran out and got some for her. My wife was absolutely miserable for most of the night. It wasn’t gas- it was pain from kidney and liver failure. We had our baby the next day- at 26 weeks gestation I might add, and my wife’s liver and kidneys were in failure that morning.I am NOT saying my wife’s medical conditions are the fault of the clinic, but I am saying there is so much more they could have done for us. All of the critical intervention we had for our very complicated pregnancy was done at the ER (3 times). The clinic’s approach and attention to detail were far below any reasonable expectation for medical care. Their lack of attention and critical mistakes cost my family thousands of dollars this year and possibly critical weeks that my baby could have continued to grow. Thousands we didn’t have to spend and weeks of gestation we couldn’t afford to give up.Our circumstances were more complicated than most, but we didn’t know that walking into the pregnancy. I don’t feel the Women’s Clinic did a good job taking care of us, paying attention to the details, and remedying their mistakes. I do feel they cost us critical weeks to give my baby and wife the best shot at health and wellness. When looking for general OB care for your wife’s pregnancy, I’d look elsewhere.
Im surprised by the amount of negative reviews, especially the one regarding Lora Bureau. She has been my PA throughout my pregnancy and has been nothing but concerned and caring during my visits. Yes, scheduling can take forever and sometimes the staff runs a bit behind, but I think thats to be expected with such a busy clinic. The building is exceptional and they offer a variety of services to make sure all your OB/GYN needs are met. Yes, they have policies in place, but any business needs to to make sure they can make a profit. My only advice would be for whoever their PR person is to tailor the responses to these reviews to make them seem genuine, rather than cut and paste. I understand they cant address private issues, but replying the same thing that was said to tens of clients who posted negative reviews certainly doesnt help their reputation any.
I originally started going to the womens clinic back in 2010. I went for a regular pap smear and informed them I we experiencing prolonged bleeding (seriously months at a time).I was told initially this was normal and was offered birth control I declined. I went for other pap smears and was told the same thing. I finally started requesting further testing and became pushy with them to get down to the bottom of my problem. They ordered tests (ultrasounds, biopsies, blood work and others I forget the technical names for). Each time I was told the results were normal and was offered birth control. I eventually gave in and took the pills they kept offering me.None of them worked and in fact caused allergic reactions. I was so frustrated I began doing my own research and questioned if I had polyps. I went back for another visit where I asked the Dr. If I could have polyps, i was told no.I was given more medication that I began taking and 2 weeks later received letters titled We suspect you have Uterine Polyps. After being pushed to go through the surgery (alike another review left- I had voicemails telling me I could have cancer), the pushing freaked me out and I called to schedule.I dont want to make this too long so to get down to the point, I was never given an estimation of the cost of the surgery. I had insurance and had to pay a percent of the surgery (1500) before they would operate. While making payments a women called to set up automatic payments that I couldnt afford and the bill ended up going to collections. Ive since paid it off but now am having the same issue. I called to make an appointment but have been told my account is deactivated. This happened back in 2013 and Im still on a deactivation discharged list? Im thinking back to the care I received and at this point I want nothing to do with this place. How terrible to put patients through multiple tests with no solution and meanwhile the cost is just piling up.
Dr Wolfe and his staff go above and beyond to help patients with often sensitive issues. He combines professionalism and expertise with compassion and comfort, helping the patient feel well-cared for even in difficult situations. He really puts the needs of the patient first. I would recommend him to anyone.
First off it is Pat Hartman not Wes that was the patient. And it is my text that this game to. I love my provider Abby and always feel well served by her. Shes a good listener and very professional in what she does. The one problem I would like to give a heads up to get it attended to was that there is no signage or verbal instruction for only one or two people to be in the elevator at any given time. I got in the elevator with one other person and immediately a third person darted in before I had a chance to push the button to go down. There was no chance of distancing at all. Three people in there definitely does not lead to being able to distance. Also an infant was in there. If just the mother and infant had been in there with me it would have at least allowed more space to distance. Please put up a sign that tells people not to be in with more than two people. It would really be appreciated. Thanks
My first experience here was terrible. From the check in staff I had, to the nurse who couldnt even find me, to the incompetent PA I saw. Please DO NOT see Lora Bureau. My first visit she was rude, confused, and completely unhelpful. I didnt even know if she had filed my prescription. My second visit was infuriating. She failed to mention during our first meeting that the ultrasound I needed before we could proceed had to be scheduled by me. So I went in the second time thinking wed do everything at once, for which I took some medication (which I will now need a new prescription for since I took it for nothing). So Im switching doctors. Im hoping the Loveland location is more helpful.
I used to love this clinic. I birthed all three of my sons with this clinic and always received the best of care. However, with my last child my insurance was not the best coverage and we ended up having quite a few medical bills that were sent to collections. All has been paid and cleared, but because my account with the Womens Clinic was sent to collections they are denying me care and I cannot make appointments there. I have been going there for 10 years and because of this one issue they are cutting me out. I am extremely hurt and upset about this. Since having my last son I have been experiencing some problems that I wanted to see Dr. Priebe (my obgyn), who I think is phenomenal and one of the best doctors I have ever seen, about these issues. But I cant because of this one issue. The clinic was paid, my collection was paid, I dont understand why I would be denied care after 10 years?!
I have been a patient here for over 15 years and have had 2 pregnancies with the Docs here. They are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. The staff is great too. I have seen most of the Doctors and PAs and have always felt confident with the high level of care I have received.
First time here and very welcoming. From checking in to checking out everything is done with excellence.Very clean and beautiful.I saw Dr. Julie Homann and just the sweetest. She spent quality time to make sure all my questions were answered and made you feel very comfortable. So grateful I was recommended to this place by my primary Dr.
Lora PA-C was great! She is very intelligent, thorough, and presented various options that she was considering for treatment. I love when providers take the time to explain their thought process. She was wonderful, thanks for your time Lora!
The best care I’ve ever had while pregnant with my 4th child. I cannot thank you all enough!Dr.Wolfe is truly amazing
Years ago I transferred from this clinic because the doc I was seeing shamed me for not wanting the Guardasil vaccine. In addition, she was scheduling c-sections for patients out of “convenience” for her schedule. Since then, many many women I know have had horrible experiences here. I’d encourage any woman to find a more personal physician that will get to know you and not pass you along to whoever is available to see you or deliver your baby.
Ive been with the WC for 26 years, 2 births, 1 C-section and have seen many docs over the years and now I only see PA. It has always been a top notch experience with ALL staff during any process/procedure from start to finish.
I visited this clinic to get a routine pap smear done. While in the clinic, my experience was overall very pleasant - the nurse practitioner was nice and took her time talking with me. However, after my test results came back I received a phone call from a nurse who explained I had some slightly abnormal results and it was absolutely necessary that I come in for further testing. I scheduled another appointment but was shaken up but after looking into my results further I found that it was going to be very expensive with my insurance and after reading on the American College of OBGYNs recommendations, biopsies were not indicated for my results. I called the clinic because I wanted to talk to a doctor or nurse practitioner about these concerns but was only ever able to speak with a nurse who explained if I could not afford the testing I would need to repeat my pap smear in 2 months but additional biopsies were still absolutely necessary within 6 months and she was very pushy that I schedule these expensive procedures. I decided at this point to get a second opinion at which point my new Dr. (elsewhere) told me that what I had read was correct and I did not need biopsies but just a follow-up appointment in a year. After once again explaining these things to the nurse at the clinic she repeatedly told me that what this other DOCTOR was telling me was inaccurate and that we were misinterpreting the information from the American College of OBGYN. She even left me multiple voicemails explaining that my biopsies were very important and for the next year I received scary letters from the clinic telling me that I was due for more testing and needed to come in immediately. I ALSO received a letter from the clinic that contradicted all of my other communications - and supported my findings that I just needed a follow up appointment in a year. Most recently I also found out that my test results could have been abnormal from something as simple as irritation and biopsies were completely unwarranted. Working in the medical field myself I feel as though the chain of communication at this clinic was completely disrespectful and unacceptable. I felt as though they were not willing to work with my financial challenges and were pushing me into procedures that were unnecessary and expensive.
Dr. Priebe is hands down the best doctor that I have ever had the opportunity to visit. He always listens to all of my questions and concerns and addresses them thoroughly and efficiently. He provides me with all of the information I need (and want) while also being sensitive to my emotional state. With his practice, Im not just another body to be ushered in and out, but an individual with dignity whose specific needs are always addressed with the utmost care. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am to have found this doctor after years of searching for a good fit for me! I wish everyone could see such a skilled practioner on a regular basis. He is one in a million!
Womens clinic made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. They are helpful friendly and very understanding. I highly recommend them.
The ladies at the front desk were all friendly and Erin Stoesz, CNM was wonderful. I felt very comfortable with her and very easy to talk to. It was nice that I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room as well.I’ve been going to the Loveland office for a couple years now and love it! Best gyno I’ve ever been too.
I was nervous coming into my first appointment. Everyone was so kind, professional, and reassuring that I knew I was in good hands. I really appreciate the level of care I received. Highly recommend!
We should really talk about this in 2 separate groups - the medical staff and the receptionist staff. The medical staff, especially the midwives, are great. Absolutely no complaints. The receptionists on the other hand are the absolute worst most incompetent and unprofessional group of people Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Any time you have to deal with them they act as if they are doing you some favor by doing their jobs. They are extremely rude. I cant even count the number of eye rolls I got from them. They have a service where you can give them youre phone number and receive text message reminders about upcoming appointments. We tried several times to sign up for this, and it never worked. One time we missed an appointment wed forgotten about and never received a reminder, either by phone call or through this text message service. We were charged something like $50 for missing the appointment. When I tried to explain that we were never reminded of it, no one cared. I was told to pay the bill or they would increase the fine.We also switched insurance in the middle of the pregnancy (actually it was near the end) which we were informed was a bad idea. Forget the fact that it saved us several thousands of dollars. It was only a bad idea because it meant more work for them. Of course, they couldnt be bothered to get that right either. Our first bill was thousands more than it should have been. It took several phone calls and a visit to their billing office to get it figured out.The latest kicker just happened recently. 7 months after the birth, I get another bill in the mail, even though we already paid everything off. Its labeled as an insurance adjustment - yeah, 7 months after all our bills were paid, theyre still trying to screw me over.Like I said, the medical staff is great. But it will be a cold day in Hell before I go back to the Womans Clinic. There are plenty of other places I can find quality medical care where I dont have to deal with such a horrible support staff. Save yourself a ton of headaches, go somewhere else.
After 2 babies and countless appointments I would hands down recommen the staff and Doctors.
I had a wonderful Experience having my prenatal care through the womens clinic and delivery of my first child at poudre hospital. Dr. Krause was great and so was Dr. James. All the nurses and front desk staff were always friendly and I rarely had any wait times. I will continue to go to wcnc for future care!
Wonderful staff! I felt cared for and respected.
The people are really nice and helpful. The woman who does the blood draws is one of the nicest ladies Ive ever met. Ive never gotten my blood drawn before and she calmed my nerves and it didnt hurt too bad. Really appreciate everything they do there.
I feel like I just got ripped off today by going to the Womens Clinic. I scheduled myself for an annual exam with Dr. Bare and when I was asked if I was having any other issues I made the mistake of mentioning a seperate issue I was having. The Dr. came in and spent 5 minutes telling me that I should see another Dr. for that issue. She then left without preforming my exam. I asked, Well arent you going to do my exam? and she said, I dont have time for that today. And she walked out. What just happened? I then went to the front desk to ask why I didnt get my exam done and they told me I was scheduled as a problem visit and not an exam. I told them that I scheduled myself for my annual and that was my intent in going to this appointment. I am paying for these services out of my own pocket. I have to budget my healthcare and I dont appreciate being charged for services I wasnt looking for.
Friendly place. Front desk ladies were super chill. LGBT friendly. Dr Irons was awesome and so comforting.
This clinic has made a huge difference in my life. I was a patient here, then ventured out to find another opinion. Aftet three months, I have returned because of the MAs wonderful dedication to their jobs and the Dr.s professionalism and expertise! Hands down, this is the place where I know I can trust the docs and all the staff!
NP Siri Rennie is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I am grateful for the care she provided at WCNC.
When pregnant, I absolutely loved (most of) the midwives. They were so sweet and caring and really took the time to answer my questions. There are a few days that seem busy where I felt rushed but not often. There is one midwife that I really disliked, Starkson. She made me feel stupid and insecure for asking certain questions to the point I would dodge her when creating new appointments. Sometimes the receptionists are in bad moods but the facility is very nice and will use again for my next pregnancy.
