Dr. Zachary Henry is the BEST!!! He is very professional and personable. He really listens and makes you feel cared for. The staff is very helpful also...when theyre not swamped which is usually. Dont wait for a callback because in my experience you wont get one. Once you get someone on the phone though theyre very helpful after you wait on hold for at lest 5 minutes or more. The moral of the story is to be patient while being a patient. LOL
Dr. Sharma is the reason Ive started coming here. Ive been a patient of his for many years; He is the best doctor Ive ever had. The staff here is very friendly and the office is beautiful.
Staff is pleasant but waiting over an hour to see the doctor is unacceptable after 14 years I have left AHF care…..Good Luck!
You simply won’t find a harder working, more caring, knowledgeable, experienced, sweet and honestly cute doctor than Dr. Zachary Henry. He brings professionalism and medical practice to a new level. As the medical director his office runs fluidly, a one-stop-shop for everything infectious disease and then some. He always looks out for me, takes time to answer my sometimes exhaustive questions and leaves me feeling like my physical and mental health is in the care of a doctor who sincerely cares. The office staff is always polite, sometimes the phones are busy but it’s a busy office. They always call back. The get me there and back via Lyft and always ensure I know my appointment is coming up.Overall =A+!
Ive been going to Northpoint for 13 years and I had to switch to Dr. Henry whom I liked as my doctor and feeling freeto speak openly. Well, since they moved, theyve gone down hill really quickly. Ive been there when angry clients walked out . Ive been to my specialist who has clients who said the same thing. Im not normally a difficult patient, but Ive gone through enough and I expected when the Dr. said he was doing something and didnt follow, I became frustrated. When I would go in for an appointment and sit in the room without anyone even popping their head in for 45 mins. I was to see Dr. Sharma for a yearly wellness check. Mind you I had major surgery a couple of weeks before. When he came in, his personality was with attitude and distanced. He did nothing. The nurse asked a lot of questions. I wanted to meet him incase I needed a back up doctor if Henery wasnt available. Now he came into my appointment almost an hour later and seemed to have an attitude. I was dealing with George and I said look Im not a difficult patient and he says back, well you have been lately. Now I consider three times dealing with incompetence and Im not well, I had a right to voice my frustration. Now coincidencely I got a letter from my insurance saying Henery no longer takes it. Funny enough, the one downtown said they should since its the same organization. I feel as if they kicked me out. I will no longer say or tell people to go to AHF Northpoint. They have proven that no matter how long youve been a patient, they dont care. I highly dont recommend the other doctor. He was rude, refused to look at my wound and the following week, I find out, I had and an infection. WithHis way towards me, Im not sure if he just didnt like me, or if it was because Im Jewish. At first I joked about it, but now I really wonder. AHF Northpoint did me a favor. Now I am going downtown and Ive been thinking after my last appointment I would leave. After a few weeks a gentleman called to see what happened and I really appreciated it. So Im going to give them another chance. I have no problem with Dr. Henry so fingers crossed...
Very bad experience staff members not all some are disorganized with paperwork and medication
Dr. Henry is a great physician. I could not ask for better health care. The entire staff from nurses to support staff has always provided great service. The new office is top notch. Highly recommend northpoint for one’s health care choice.
After 20+ years at this office, I had to find another doctor since my current doctor moved out of state. It is unfortunate how much this office has changed. You can no longer show up early nor late, but only on time. I always showed up early for all my appts but now I am turned away. Now that I showed up 15 min late, I was turned away, if only we lived in a perfect world. I was unable to see P.A. Dan Brown for my blood work, and offering me telemedicine, if only they informed of this before I drove an hr to get to the office. Avoid this office.
My doctor (I’ve been a patient of his for years) told me he would send to my pharmacy 3-4 prescriptions to be filled. As I was leaving I asked the person who was checking me out if she had a record of those prescriptions and where they sent to the pharmacy. She said not yet. Well here it is 3 days later and nothing has been sent. And calling the practice is useless since nobody answers, just VM and nobody ever returned my call. I’m going to have to physically go out of my way to the practice and ask in person where are my prescriptions. It’s a shame cause I really like my doctor but after this episode I’m going to look for another doctor
Great doctors, customer service needs work. For the last year, no one has ever answered a call I made. I always get the machine, and the recording that should be 5 seconds long telling to leave a name, number and issue is now 60 seconds long. It is frustrating to have to hear it each time I call. Calls are rarely returned, and are never returned in an hour. Prescription refills are often messed up. I have no changed my pharmacy in years, yet they still sometimes get sent to the wrong place, or are never sent, and they never call back to tell me when they are sent, so it becomes a seemingly endless cycle of calling very day to see if it has happened. I spoke with a manager about a month ago about shortening the message. He said it would be done. Nope. Frustrated.
Called with questions and Stacy had answers very helpful.Dr chiavan bahabur is A very caring doctor. Had a negative experience with a ahf in the past but definitely not now.
The staff are very friendly and competent. Dr. Dwyer is a dedicated professional with a real heart for his patients. The only issue I have ever had is that sometimes it takes the office staff a while to respond with call backs, but their reasons are probably quite valid given the workload.
It seems that most of these types of facilities have the same issue which is communicating outside of the office. When I go in the care is good and consistent...if I need anything outside it is next to impossible to get anyone on the phone or a timely response. I have had issues getting my labwork scheduled with quest the last 2 times. I finally get the office to contact me and give me requisition orders and then go to quest and nothing is there. It is extremely frustrating when your dealing with scheduled appointments and fasting labs. It just causes me to put off my care and follow ups. Not really the most efficient business model but I will do what works best for me inside the inept system.
All staff is very nice in person, Trying to get someone the phone is almost impossible. I leave several messages and no one calls me back- I send emails and i get no response. I have been a patient there almost 15 years and it seems its consistently getting worse year after year.
AHF NORTHPOINT is a state of the art facility with an incredibly professional and super friendly staff. From the receptionists to the nurses and P.A.s and Doctors who genuinely care about you and your well being. They offer case management to get you enrolled in any assistance program to meet your financial needs. They even have mental health care and the best therapists. Their mission statement literally says Outstanding healthcare regardless of ability to pay This is the place you need to go if youre newly diagnosed or want a change. They even have a full service Pharmacy in the office. My Doctor has been taking care of me for 11 years and literally saved my life. Ive never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for my appointment. I highly recommend becoming a member of the AHF family.
None of the nurses know how to do an IV.. so far I’ve been stuck 4 times… four… I feel like a pin cushion. You would think the er nurses and the nurses upstairs would all be able to do a basic IV…. I think some of themMay have graduated a little too soon…. Not a good experience over all. Nurse have bad communication especially at night…. This is so sad.. even the charge nurse had no luck. No I have to get some kind of ultrasound person to run a Iv line… like if they can’t even successfully run a iv line… I have very low hopes for anything else. SMH if you can… avoid this hospital. I feel like my stay is going to get worst the longer I stay here. If I check myself out ama than my LOA from work won’t be approved. I’m literally between a rock and a hard place… like really… 4 nurses can’t run an iv… 4!? FOUR of them! Lol it’s not funny but that’s the only way I can not cry over this.I’m even more blown away that the charge nurse…. The freaking charge nurse has no idea how to do a iv… I literally gave her advice. First he angle was way off the. My bed was way too low for the angle she was coming from… the tourniquet wasn’t even as snug as it should have been. I honestly feel I’m being used for practice. I mean… at this point I might as well apply for job as their pin cushion. From the er waiting room where I was forced to give up my room… which I’mNot sure if it’s cause I’m black, trans, or what…. But there was a perfect good room directly next to mine… no warning just hey we need this room. You have to go sit in the hallway… literally that’s all that was said To me and when I questioned it… I was the bad person. Like Frfr…. If you know of a better hospital… go there. And let me know which one it is so I can never comeBack here again.Welcome to death
We had a good feeling while here. Met my 3rd PCP here. All other locations cant seem to hold on to their doctors. If you want good & compassionate care come here to the Imperial AHF clinic in North Pointe Florida.
What was once a small practice specializing in mens health has now become a sad example of incompetence and uncaring. Phone calls arent returned. I have been reassigned to physicians repeatedly as they leave this office for other practices. Even the office manager, Mercedes, seems completely unable to perform her job. They actually went so far as to tell my boyfriend he had to pay them money for them to provide him with important test results.. They have become an outstanding example of what NOT to look for in medicine.
Pretty place but waiting over an hour to see doctor makes it ugly. I was on time. No one except the person taking vitals spoke to me over an hour
10 years I’ve been in there care and they cannot will not take control of a simple infection issue rather they say go to hospital.AHF Northpoint would rather just do the blood panel and follow up. When you need them most they’ll be little service to you. Simple refills forget it way to much hassle. If you have the choice look for other care.
I use Dr. Cennamo and he is just he best. He listens, takes notes and really pays attention to you. The Pharmacy is also great and they deliver for free!Best choice I ever made was to procure Cennamo for my PCD.
Can’t rely on staff on getting things done. Messages not getting directed to right doctor.
The lack of reliable infrastructure will cause the imminent destruction/closing of this well needed medical facility in Fort Lauderdale. constant phone system problems, unanswered voice mails, overworked and frustrated staff, they seem to be on a path of self destruction and everyone including Mr Harry Waters associate director is so busy chasing their tails they have no clue as to whats going on. WAKE UP PEOPLE! YOUR PATIENTS ARE SUFFERING.
First visit. Everyone was extremely friendly and showed they cared. Interesting process. Very punctual. Well organized . Glad I chose them
Everything is perfect! I just have to thank them very much.
I am giving them 5 stars for now. I hope they own it. Great team, attitude, atmosphere and the seems to care about patients...
Love the staff however there have bern miscommunication issues in past that sometimes took awhile to resolve. Overall I am well pleased with my care.
Been coming here for 8 years ! And I drive one hour to my doctors visits because they are fantastic.
Rude staff, physicians are very good, but how can you enjoy an experience if you have to get through a firewall of rudeness, disregard and contempt from the referral coordinator?
I love my doctor office. Because you dont wait for hours. you get in and u get out fast.
Staff is always great and they service the lgbtq community like no one else

Best staff
Good service
The clinicians used to be patient-focused. Now, they submit claims for virtual visits with cpt codes that have higher reimbursement rates by choice. United Health, for example, does not require the cpt codes that AHF chooses for a virtual visit claim, and AHFs poor billing staff cant speak against their own clinicians. The billing staff just says thats the way they always bill virtual visits. When I asked them to resubmit the claim as my insurancecompanyrequested, AHFs billing staff refused. Do your research and save your money, people.
