I’ve been to a lot of urgent cares, and because of that, I had a good bit of anxiety going into the whole situation. However, between the ease of check in and the attentiveness of the doctor and his team it turned out to be nothing but an enjoyable experience. Couldn’t recommend more. A cut above any other urgent care I’ve ever been to.
Michele and her team were wonderful tonight. My daughters eye swelled up at home at 7pm on a Friday night and I wanted to have it seen to make sure there wasn’t anything in it or a major scratch that couldn’t wait until Monday morning. We were in and out in under 1hr and the team was kind and gentle with my daughter. Great experience as far as needing Urgent Care.
The best urgent care ever! The doctors are great and the staff is knowledgeable, professional and just great at what they do. I started using them for primary care and they always take such great care of me. I wish I could give them 10 stars
Providers generally care. The office shows age with the horrible chairs and dirty floors. The rooms feel dark and dated as well. Given the amount of foot traffic they have I would except the office to look more professional.I want to add I did not review the wrong urgent care. This place is so dirty! I want to also add that the chairs have been updated to the cheapest thing possible.
I simply cant say enough! The practitioners were thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate in their practice. Had a health issue while far from home and such relief to get it attended to expertly!
I’ve been coming here for awhile now and I must say that it’s the best Urgent Care practice around. Staff and Doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’d like to say that the triage nurse Pam is the BEST!! Just seen my new doctor Dr Vivian Fonjong and I already feel like I’m her top priority as her patient. She’s very friendly and listens to my concerns. EXCELLENT place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Shout to Pam again (1/5/24) she’s always friendly and welcoming. She and Dr Vivien ROCK!!
I have them for my primary care, and I am absolutely happy with the treatment that I get how fast they are very communicative and friendly. It’s like a family here. Sara Huffman and The nursing staff amazing heck everybody is!!!When I talk about the feeling of walking in and it’s warm and welcoming and this place is extremely professional and I love the fact that you can come in and your nurses feel like your sisters and they truly care about you. Particularly Ms. Nikki know that if you get her, she definitely cares about what’s going on with you and wants you to heal and recover fast. She has your best interest in your concerns at heart. That is a woman who loves what she does and you can feel it I usually leave with a smile.
Excellent Urgent Care the PA Michelle Vonn was awesome extremely friendly outstanding personality and listen to everything I said came up with her diagnosis and gave me the proper medication to make me feel 100% if I ever get sick again or dont feel good while Im here in Maryland I will be going to true Care Urgent Care I went to one in Frederick two times this week and they did not help me at all they made me purchase over the counter medication spending up to $50 wasting my money when I got these two prescriptions with discount at CVS for $50 and Im feeling better already I have to say that this is an awesome place theyre kind friendly and they listen to your needs and Im happy that I got the opportunity to meet such a good doctor Michelle thank you for everything Joseph Palumbo
Ive had a lot of medical care in my life; I know good staff when I meet them. Excellent bedside manner, and excellent , efficient patient care. Pam and Michelle helped me out today. Pam was incredibly kind and funny, which always makes everything better. Michelle was quick, kind, and had an amazing attitude. Hearing a medical professional tell me Ill fix it about an ear infection was relieving to say the least. Getting in and out in 20 minutes while still feeling your concerns have been addressed is hard to come by.
This urgent care I would have to say is the best in town in any emergency after regular doctors hours i come to this urgent care they have always been so nice and polite. I was in here today for my four-year-old who may have an ear infection and I have to say that the staff member Pam Who worked with myself and my daughter made it a great visit she made us feel so comfortable. She even left my daughter a gift on the table when I took her to the bathroom. I definitely recommend this urgent care over any other and if you can get Pam as your nurse!
Our go-to urgent care in the area. The front desk personnel are pleasant and helpful. The wait time is not insane which is a huge plus when you’re not feeling so great. Nurse Nikki is by far the best nurse at the clinic. She is attentive, shows that she cares for her patient(s); we’ll definitely continue to come here when needed and recommend.
AMAZING PLACE!! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. It’s very clean and the new decor looks great! They also offer primary care. Special thanks to Pam, Michelle, and dr. Tholen. And all other staff😎🥰 . Thank you sooooo much for being so Awesome!
Westview Urgent care was great! I didn’t have my daughters insurance card and the receptionist was happy to look it up for us, something another local urgent care could/would not. Our nurse, Pam, was really nice, and Dr. Michelle was awesome too! This will be our go to urgent care from now on!!
Brought my partner in for a bad cough the other night; Pam didnt wear a mask while triaging her, and when Pam asked about medications, and my partner handed her a list, she seemed incredulous and asked do you really take these every day? and did NOT document them because the list was too long. Way to shame a patient for being chronically ill. Doctor then spoke with my partner briefly, gave her a covid test, gave her antibiotics (the dose appropriate for tonsillitis) and when my partner asked for an inhaler because she couldnt breathe, the doctor stated you dont need it. And walked out of the room. After the appt, I went to the pharmacy to pick up her RX and the pharmacist advised me of some drug interactions; ones that the doctor couldve considered or counseled us on had Pam copied down her med list. Then I called to speak with the clinical supervisor, also Pam, and she was dismissive of my issues with her. I stated what bothered me, calmly but clearly frustrated, and she said ok next. Literally *pause* ok next...Pam was dismissive of my issues with the doctor and said Im not a clinician, I cant speak for the clinician. Then Pam asked who I was and said since I wasnt the patient, we cant discuss it. I was literally in the room for the appt the entire time; I am complaining because it pissed ME off to see my partner dismissed, shamed about her meds, and given contraindicated meds without counsel because Pam didnt do her job.Lastly, my phone call with Pam ended with her getting upset that I was speaking disrespectfully because I asked her what she planned to do with the information I just gave her and she did not reassure me other than Ill pass this along, but the patient has to call to discuss it. Never a I understand or Im sorry or even I acknowledge your concerns. If Pam cant take accountability for being unprofessional and neglecting to document medications, speak for [acknowledge my concerns about] the clinicians she apparently supervises, and is more interested in tone policing me than ensuring client safety, she is wholly unfit for her position.
Any time I need to come to Urgent care, the entire staff is very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was here on 12/22/23 and now again today, 1/5/24 and Pam, is AMAZING. She is very friendly, experienced, gentle and knowledgeable, she explains why they recommend different tests and genuinely cares. I cant say enough about this urgent care, so much better than a family practice.
Came in today for my son’s infected finger. Everyone was very friendly today especially Pam. Not only was she professional with my son’s care but was also hard at work helping make the facility look brand new. Happy employee appreciation Pam, we appreciate you!
I really love Westview urgent care. They are very clean, efficient in what they do and super fast. They really care for their patients and any person who comes in to receive treatment. I highly suggest this location and the staff is amazing. Pam is super sweet and friendly. Sarah is their new primary care physician and she is absolutely awesome! Come to this location for a quick checkup for any issue or need, they will take good care of you very quickly. Make this your urgent care.
I’ve been coming here for quite awhile. It was also my primary care for some time. Since it’s changed, I can’t say enough good things! So, so much improvement. To the waiting room, front desk, etc. Pam helped take care of me and was very welcoming and empathetic! I used to dread coming and now I am very pleased. Will definitely be my go to urgent care!
Brought my 3 sick kids in 1 hr before closing, and everyone was so helpful! From the front desk staff, to RN Pam, to PA Vonn--my kids were well taken care of at every step. No one rushed us out, we didnt feel like we were a nuisance for such a late arrival with multiple people to be seen. Both the RN & PA were thorough, attentive, and collaborative to find the best course of care for my kids. I was so appreciative and impressed enough to return today when my eldest child fell ill again. Same deal, treated well & welcomed at the front--& since weve visited recently, check-in was a breeze. We ended up with RN Pam again and she was sweet enough to remember my family. We were seen by Dr. Tholen this time and he quickly addressed my sons needs with ease. The folks here have patient care in the bag. I literally drove past several other urgent care centers in order to come here. For us, care overrides convenience any day. Dont hesitate to come in and give them a try. Obviously, waittimes will vary based on urgency and patient load, but at each visit our family was seen fairly quickly...Ive spent hours in some other places. Im so pleased to have discovered this group!
This is my go to urgent care. I have always had the best experience each time I have gone here. The receptionist is always nice. Nurse Nikki is by far the best nurse there. She is attentive, she is caring, she makes great conversation, she has the hands of an angel you can barely feel it when she gives you a shot, she genuinely cares and it changes the entire experience. 10/10 recommend!
I have raving reviews for this place! It was my first time there and they took such great care of me! Mara, Pam and Michelle were amazing from the door til I left!! They spoke to me and cared for me as if I were someone they knew personally and I loved it! Walked out feeling way better than when I walked in because these ladies went above and beyond! Im so grateful and I totally recommend for all your urgent care needs!
I was helped by Pam and Miss Vivienne. Pam administered a shot to me, and it was completely painless, she did it so well. It was a stressful night that I didnt want to spend in urgent care, yet Ms Viviene was so funny she had me in...stitches? Lol! They were both lovely. I recommend this urgent care. I didnt catch the name of the woman at the front desk, but she had me in and out of there in under ten minutes, so grateful for that.
The Staff was exceptional and friendly Pam was amazing she did my intake and did a fantastic job very friendly and funny great personality and my Doctor was the greatest. I would highly recommend this Clinic
I have visited this clinic two times and each time everyone has been attentive and listen to my concerns. I do not typically get really sick and I had different symptoms and my concerns were heard! Vivienne & Pam were both fantastic:)
My visit today was exceptional, the attention Pam gave to me during my visit was wonderful. Pam is particularly skilled in making patients feel like they are her top priority, when I came in today it was busy, Pam didn`t seem bothered, each time Pam called a patient back she was polite and kind. I truly cannot say enough about Pam, this was my first time here at this facility, I will definitely be back. Pam thank you for making my experience a good one. Hailey
The staff is extremely friendly, especially considering some of the people they are forced to deal with, and the doctors and nurses are pretty thorough for an urgent care, but there is a great deal of unnecessary paperwork required, especially considering that most of what they are asking for is already available digitally. Very poor data management.
Went to this facility at 7:30 on July 3rd which does not close until 8:00, for possible Lyme disease. The receptionist would not let me enter because she said they were closed and was quite rude. Will never go there again.
Pam and Sarah were absolutely wonderful. They are always so nice every time we come here. We live a little ways away, and we have 2 other urgent care facilities closer to me and we only come here. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a urgent care, that actually cares.
This urgent care has recently changed owners and is absolutely amazing. The doctors will take time to listen to you, get to you know and find out what’s wrong. They go above and beyond for each patient. I had to see them first thing the morning of my birthday, the two ladies Pam and Michelle that saw me went out there way to make a lollipop bouquet with “Happy Birthday”. Michelle diagnosed me, sent medicine and had me on my way efficiently while still caring a lot. While going to the urgent care on your birthday sucks, these ladies made me smile and got me back to healthy!
Very dirty place, go at your own danger. The pictures will speak for themselves. The exam room had fluid streaks going down several of the walls, trash on the floor, full trash cans, dirty floors. I asked for a different room, they cleaned another room and brought us there. The second room had the same issues. I walked out and received a full refund. The type of dirt and where it was filthy was more than just a simple for day. This shows a pattern of many days of filth building up. With MRSA and other infections, there is no way I would risk my childrens lives here.(Addition to review above based on owners comments) Paul, please comment on how you are going to improve the cleaning practices in your office instead of commenting on my review of a different business? In two separate rooms, you had blood splatters in places wide open to customers without having to lift or move anything. Again, the pictures speak for themselves. I thought I posted the blood too but wonder if those were taken down? The reason I post so many pictures is so people can draw their own conclusions and not just take my word.
I met with Doctor Vivien Fonjong she was very attentive and went steps further to make sure I had the right medication and scans needed. She felt sincere an it was a warm encounter. I feel more assured after her seeing me. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and extra steps to make sure I am getting the best care.I can’t speak for everyone else as I didn’t interact with everyone but the others were equally warm and respectful from my brief interactions with them. Overall a good first and second visit.
This urgent care has been renovated since we were here last. New paint, brighter lights and extended hours- opening at 8am now rather than 9am. They saw us immediately and staff member Pam was extremely friendly, personable and efficient, as well as the dx Vivien! Great experience.5 stars.
I was feeling miserable with a cough and sore throat, and I wasnt willing to wait a full day to see my regular doctor. Check in was straightforward and the wait time was less than 15 minutes. A strep test came back positive. The doctor was friendly, clear, and concise. Even gave me a note for work!
I have been coming to this urgent care since it opened. I made it my primary care shortly afterwards. Over the last few years, it seemed as if there were always new Drs. Last year it was terrible, Every time I needed a refill my dr had left and I would have to do another yearly check up because it was a new dr seeing me. I became really sick last year and I was not getting the help I needed. Has to go to multiple specialists, I need my records sent to them. I was told multiple times they were sent. They never were. I went in to get it my self, and I was refused my own medical records. Mind you I was super super sick. Anyways, I could on with all the issues.Today my son needed to see a Dr, his Dr didnt have openings, so we gave in and went here. I found out that there is a new director and almost all the old staff has been replaced.Super happy today with Pam and as well as the director. We will be giving them another try.
Being sick when you’re out of town is the worst. I found this urgent care close to my hotel and I’m so glad I went. It was a quick registration process & from checking in to checking out I received genuine care and had a great patient experience. The front clerk (didn’t get her name) was very understanding and helped me find my preferred pharmacy closest to me. Pam the nurse was super sweet & understanding listening to my concerns & the doctor (Dr. A) was thorough & listened to my concerns also. The whole process felt like I was in the right hands at the right moment to get the care I needed. It can be scary to be sick almost 1000 miles away from home. But these ladies took care of me.
I had never been there for myself before. Everyone super nice and friendly from checking checked in until walking out the door. my nurse Nikki was very nice. Made me feel welcome and was very gentle with all my tests. Very clean clinic. dr. Vivian was super nice and funny.
I have been bringing my family here for several years! I absolutely love Pam and the energy she brings to the office. Would definitely recommend this practice, and love how the care just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the good work guys!! 😃
Front desk and nurse were extremely polite and helpful. PA named Vivian was not. Very short, did not give any instructions on what to do, but there was apparently a whole page of instructions. She prescribed medicine but didnt give any written script, then pressured my wife into writing a review. I went for a follow up, she did almost nothing, then took my phone from my hand to try and give herself a 5 star review.
Most urgent cares make you feel rushed, but not today! Also, the nurse Pam was super sweet!
Pam was amazing during our visit. My daughter had trouble breathing and she brought us back immediately to ensure she was okay. This has always been my urgent care of choice. Thank you!
We had Pam for our visit, and she was very friendly and super nice. She definitely made our visit a lot more enjoyable since our daughter was sick for Christmas Eve. Thank you so much Pam for being such a great person.
Pam was extremely nice and friendly. Even though I wasnt feeling well, her energy made feel alot better even before I saw the doctor. Best Urgent care staff in Frederick.
Super friendly staff from the get go with Maura at the front, to Pam who did my intake and vitals, and Michelle who saw me. Was in an auto accident and they gave me a friendly and knowledgeable group to confide in when this happened with fast treatment and service.
Was in and out once brought back to the room. Got a flu and strep test and was seen by dr Michelle within 5 mins. Dr Michelle and Nurse Pam were very friendly , nice , helpful, & in great spirits. For it being 2 days before Christmas it was a good experience.
TruCare saved our Christmas! Our son told us he was having strep symptoms and I called Frederick TruCare at 5:25pm on 12/23, desperate because all other urgent care clinics in the area had closed early before the holiday. They said they dont ordinarily take new patients after 5:30, but theyd make an exception. Michelle, Pam, and Gretel stayed late and kept the office open to just to see our streppy son and get him the prescription he would need to stave off Christmas misery. They administered a lightning fast strep test and had us on our way, prescription in hand in to time at all. The PA was sharp and experienced enough to inquire about our sons history with different antibiotics for strep so that we got the right one to take care of the problem the first time. They even called our chosen pharmacy for us to ensure it was still open. Truly amazing service. They listened to the customer and made sure we had everything we needed and went the extra mile for us. I cant recommend them highly enough. Well be back.
It’s weird to have an enjoyable time when I’m feeling under the weather but I did. Pam made my experience fantastic. She was very nice, attentive and really cared about how I was feeling. Thank you Pam. The wait was short too!
My husband and I came in this evening for sick visits and the Urgent Care was nice and clean. It had been remodeled and looks nice. The staff was wonderful. The nurse Nikki was awesome and very helpful.
I visited this urgent care for my cough and cold. I got treated well and took a payment. after couple days I asked them to provide me the itemized list of my bill and amount they charged to submit for claim. they said, they are going to send mail. I followed up 3 times. No one has responding.. seems like they are hesitating to provide me the bill and not sure why. simply they attend the call and put me on hold. this is totally unfair. please be make sure when visit here. get the itemized bill right after you pay from your pocket. once leave the office. they dont care your concerns.
Love the updated interior; it makes the atmosphere feel warm and inviting! The staff are very kind and welcoming. Pam is my favorite! She always makes me feel seen, heard, and understood. Thanks Pam! 🫶
Had to bring my daughter in, yet again, unfortunately for a bad cough. Had an amazing nurse, Nikki, Who took the time to calmly handle my daughter and was able to successfully do a Covid test and strep test on her. Both came out negative. Thank goodness, but she’s four years old and as all parents know that can be a difficult task. We appreciate her, and her kindness!
My son was sick before Christmas, Pam and Michelle were great! The young lady at the front desk with the pretty nails was very friendly! Thank you. :)12/23/20233:00-3:30pm
Viviane was wonderful today. She gives good care with special attention. You just fell better when she talks. Pam was awesome. She received us well at the urgent care today
The safe was super helpful and patient! As a mama coming in with her littles to be seen it was such a breeze. Extra thank you to Nikki and the front desk receptionist while took the extra time to have a conversation with my very chatty 4 year old in their busy shuffle of the day.Such a pleasant experience, thank you all!!!
The staff is always friendly and quick! We have had several great experiences with our kids. Pam especially is thorough and good with our children.
We checked in and Pam took us back to the room. She was very kind and professional while getting our information and child’s symptoms. This was a great start to us seeing the Physician.
I visited on 18 and 23 December 2023. Both times the providers here were very thorough in their exam and testing and providing treatment options. Sheli, Michelle (nurse), and Brendan (provider), Pam (nurse) and Michelle (provider) were all incredibly knowledgeable with great beside manners. I choose this urgent care location above others because of the attention to details, bedside manners, and small wait times.
I brought my kids in the day after thanksgiving and our nurse Pam was great at making my kids comfortable. Then our doctor Ms.Vivian was amazing with the kids and really made our experience a great one. I would definitely bring my kids back here
This is my primary/ urgent care go to. It’s where I’m comfortable, they do a great job and I’ll keep coming back.I honestly never have had an issue and they diagnose you properly if you cannot be treated you must go to the emergency room, like any urgent care. I can name staff that have come and go; and I appreciate you all. I still like coming here thanks for being there !
A great experience so far! Pam was super sweet and got me all set up for the doctor! Honestly the best experience ive had at this urgent care, leauges above my last visit!
Hey just want to let people know that this clinic, has terrible mannerism taking my phone to post a good review. As nurse working for hospitals and at the ER, their PAs treatment plans do more harm to their patients than good. NURSES are actually good but the provider need to work on there patient relationship and forcing patients to put in a good review. On top of that ignore the 5 star review with one more two lifetime reviews, it is false accounts that the clinic is trying to bolster their reviews and feed you false information.
We have been going to this clinic for several years. They have always taken great care of my parents whenever they feel unwell or need a physical. Special shoutout to Sarah and Pam today for their excellent care when we were there!
If I could give them 0 stars I would. My appointment was for 12:15 and wasn’t bright back until 1:45. Proceeded to wait again until 2:30 for the doctor to come in. I told him my son has asthma and was sick I told him what I needed and he said he out in the prescription. Once I got to the pharmacy to pick up the medication the doctor had only put in half of the order. When I called to ask the girl at the front said that I only had one prescription and that now I have to wait for the doctor to finish everything he’s doing to put in the prescription. My son can’t breathe and they ‘forgot’ my son’s breathing medicine. Worst experience of my life.
My go to place when myself or a family member is feeling rough. Never had any problems and are usually in and out within a hour! Pam is always so sweet and attentive- she’s one of our families favorites!
We visited this location today because my son was sick. The nurse named Pam was very helpful and assisted my son. The place was very clean and tidy. The staff there were very nice even though they were very busy.
Staff was excellent. Smooth process. Good communication. A+. Michelle Vonn was so helpful.
Visited today and was in quick and able to see the doctor quickly. Pam was great and kind and attentive. Will return when needing urgent care services.
Came in with a vomiting and diarrhea symptoms they wrote me off for 2 days and gave me a anti nausea medicine, which helped Pam who checked my vitals did great and was friendly amd micheal who was my doctor did fantastic explained everything throuroughly
I came here to get my sister checked out, and the staff was very nice to us. Made us feel comfortable and created good conversations! The wait time wasn’t long what so ever :)
Great staff! Pam is fantastic, very friendly and attentive to the needs of her patients. Love that she took great care of my 5 yr old! ❤️
As usual, Nurse Practitioner Vivian does a great job in helping me care for my elderly father. Pam was also helpful and so was the front desk staff.
Overall amazing experience. Pam made getting a shot quick and painless.
Staff was friendly, Pam my intake nurse was great and Dr Fonjong made sure to answer all my questions. Will definitely use this location again if I need an urgent care appointment.
Despite it being a sick visit, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at the upgrades made under new management. The facility is clean and comfortable. Pam and Dr. Agrawal we’re so kind, helpful and had great bedside manner.
My husband I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and there was little to no wait. Gretel and Pam were a huge help and handled themselves beautifully when a disgruntled patient was quite rude to them. Thank you for your help today!
TruCare at Westview is a great doctors office. They always take you back minutes after checking in. The staff is caring, compassionate, understanding and accommodating. Dr.Agarwal and Nikki are very personable, kind and, extremely helpful. Going to the doctors is never fun, but the staff at Westview really make the experience easy and welcoming. Thank you guys for everything!
Came here for a minor medical issue I wanted to have checked out and everything was great. Special thanks to Pam, who was very professional a courteous. Also, the NP Brendan was very knowledgeable and very helpful.Recommended
This was my first time going into urgent care and I was feeling really nervous. Pam made the process really easy and calmed my nerves
This is my second time coming to this urgent care. Because my first experience with them was good I decided to use them again this time around.. Everyone from receptionist to the nurse is very warm especially Pam.. Thanks for providing such good care
Pam and Brendan were very nice and took care of me. I cut my hand which required stitches. I was taken in right away and it wasnt long till I was done! Thank you for great quick care!
Mrs.Pam & Dr. Mitchell where amazing they welcomed me (Jadet) & Harold with opened arms they are so amazing great attitude had smiles on there faces and were awesome for helping us & making sure we were both safe thank you so much Mrs . Pam & Dr Mitchell !!
Although the front staff was incredible, and the nurse who did my triage questions was very thorough, the doctor walked into the room telling me she is giving me ibuprofen and trying to leave the room again without asking me a single question or actually examining me. (Hip injury) When I expressed my concern and requested she actually take a look she still did not. I will not be returning.
Pam was wonderful to deal with. She made me feel at home. She had an awesome Christmas sweater that would put a smile on anyone’s face. They got me in and out. Thanks again!
Brought my son in for an ear infection and was brought back within 10 mins. Front has recently been updated with new seating and a child friendly activity table and train set , front staff and our nurse Pam were kind . I’d recommend this place to friends , and will be visiting again.
We received excellent care at this location. Each staff member was polite and professional. When our treatment need exceeded their office capabilities, we were not only referred to a specialist, but the PA, Matt, made a priority appointment on our behalf. We received a call the next morning to notify us. Service and communication was above and beyond. Many thanks to Matt and the entire staff!
Pam at TruCare urgent care at the Westview shopping center in Frederick, MD is the best! She is patient, caring, attentive and listens to all you have to say. I never feel rushed or like a nuisance when I have her .
I met with a nurse Pam and Dr. Agarwal, pam was so quick to see me and I waited less than 15 minutes to be taken into a room. Dr. Agarwal did the most thorough appointment and follow-up for urgent care I have had before. Would definitely recommend TruCare
Brought my daughter in for an allergic reaction. Nicky was GREAT! Very friendly and easy to talk to. Made my daughter more relaxed during the visit. Will return!
TL;DR - this is a very good medical facility and Im glad its so close to my home. After two patient visits, Im consistently satisfied with the level of care, quality of staff, and wait time at Westview Urgent Care. The longer story is that Ive been to WUC three times, but only twice as a patient. My latest visit was on a Friday evening. I was able to check in quickly and settled in with a paperback while I waited to be called. Before I could find my place in the book, I was called back to take vitals. My health care provider came by minutes later and checked my symptoms. It didnt take long to make a diagnosis and my prescription was ready at a nearby pharmacy within an hour (their pharmacy was already closed for the evening).Every person that helped me was warm and professional. I felt like they saw me as a person, not a case to be churned through. I loved the ease of check-in (especially as a returning patient), the quality of care, and the short wait time. I had packed a bag full of snacks and personal items, expecting to wait all night but I was treated before I could plug in my wall charger.I am super grateful that this clinic is down the road from me. Amazing staff and high quality service make this a stand out facility.
Pam is a phenomenal nurse. She was so sweet and gentle while drawing my blood. She answered my questions and is very personable.
Front desk check in was easy and she was super nice. Nurse that took us back was also nice but the NP Brenden who we saw was a joke. A complete waste of time and money!!! Want better service go to the urgent care on 85 by Walmart!
My son was called in by Pam. She was friendly and thorough. She was a good listener and explained what would happen next. She made us feel comfortable
Front desk got me in at the last minute, Pam helped move things along, listened to my concerns, know what to test for and made sure the Dr saw me quickly. I appreciated the care. Was in and out in 45 minutes.
I came in here to get seen for very bad upper respiratory symptoms. Fluid in lungs, terrible cough, fever , etc. The First lady I saw kept pushing me to give her a 5-star review so “she could get $50”, red flag #1. Then the doctor who saw me just listened to my chest with a stethoscope and told me I have pneumonia, without even sending me for an x-ray. Very weird place, I don’t recommend coming here.
Got in and out really quickly and had an excellent experience with Pam. Will definitely come back for non-primary doctor needs!
Me and my dad came in because both of us werent feeling well, super quick to get in and out. Pam was super sweet and talkative and helped us feel welcome and safe.
My husband went today and got in immediately. There was no other patients at the facility. He sat and waited for the Nurse Practitioner and when he came to my husband, he handed him a paper that involved questions that a doctor would ask a patient. Not the other way around. When my husband went to find the NP he could not find him anywhere. My husband had a gash on his head and it would have been nice if the NP had even asked him one question, not one question was asked. My husband went to the front desk and explained to the staff at which time he asked for a refund since he was not seen. She understood and refunded him. Never going back there. Now I know why no one was there. He went somewhere else and got staples placed in his head.
Pam was extremely helpful and made our son comfortable during our visit. It was our first visit to the clinic, but will not be our last thanks to her!
I’ve been coming to this urgent care for a few years and love how quickly they are able to take of us even if we’re walk in. The MA Pam was super kind and patient with my little while she got some tests done for him.
It was an amazing experience this evening. I came out of work with a lot of body aches and pain and first the nurse Pam took care of me really well and the doctor , Mrs Viviane also came and attended to my needs . I highly recommend this place
Vivian (a P.A. at this facility) was extremely unhelpful and unpleasant. She was so adamant for my husband and I to write a review for this facility more than she was interested in helping my husband who was there for medical care. She gave little to no at home instruction and we left feeling clueless. We will not be back.
Visit the office today by west view. Had a great lady Pam help me to the room and took test very polite and professional. Had a great experience with her today. Thank you Pam.
Thank you Pam!! She was so helpful and caring with my sick little one. They even gave him a dose of medicine. Amazing service and very kind medical professionals.
Nurse practitioner recommends me to see an orthopedic specialist, but doesn’t give me a referral. I called several last week and even gave them the fax number to the specialist, but they never sent it. When I called the 2nd time they told me once again it would be sent. 6 days later I called to find out what’s what, and I get attitude from staff and hung up on. Will not be going back to this place again. Totally unprofessional.
Got right in without an appointment and barely any wait. Staff seems extremely professional and helpful, I was seen by Pam and she got me started on my way to being healthy. Thank you!
Went early morning, not much of a wait. The front office ladies were professional and friendly, she even sprayed lysolTo keep the general area clean. Doctor A was on point, explained things well gave me treatment options. Glad I came when I did.
0/10 HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.Went in on 11/18 after my wife was showing symptoms of kidney stones. Booked an appointment via the website. When we walked in we were not greeted and didnt know which of the two receptionists we needed to speak to. When my wife began to explain we had made a appointment online the receptionist yelled that she couldnt understand her, cutting her off in the middle of her explaining her problem. When I spoke for my wife to help the receptionist hear I was cut off as well and in a even louder tone told that they dont do online appointments. We immediately left due to the unprofessionalism, hostility, and immediate deflection when I mentioned that I did not appreciate the way we were being spoken to. When I provided an email given by the office, proving that I had in fact scheduled an appointment I was told that they can not immediately see patients based off of online appointments. While this is perfectly reasonable, the absolute disregard of the situation from the manner in how they spoke to us to the complete lack of empathy of a patient. As I write this, 3 hours later my wife received a email from the urgent care Hoping we are on the road to recovery and enjoyed our experience. Needless to say these people are clueless.
Pam was lovely! I felt comfortable with her and she performed the tests required quickly and efficiently! Thanks Pam :)
I have been coming here for myself and my daughter for about the past 10 years. I have a primary care doc and my daughter has a pediatrician at other places in Frederick, but I will often come here instead sometimes, and even pay a higher co-pay because of my ins. The reasons are because sometimes it is outside of our regular doctors office hours, it is something that cant wait but doesnt warant going to the ER, or because I want the best advice I know where to find. While I actually have a very good primary care doc myself, I very often take my daughter here instead of her pediatricions office because this place has far better doctors. They have helped me with some pretty complicated issues more times than I can remember. The doctors here have always been top notch in my experience so Im really not sure why the reviews of this place arent better. The only reason I have never posted a review of this place before is because I didnt want it to get any busier there for my own needs, but after seeing some of the reviews, I wanted to give my opinion so that people know how great this place is and it hopefully sticks around for as long as we are still living in the area.
Pam and Dr. Vivien were fantastic with my 8 year old. Top notch services. Took care of him well.
Pam took great care of my granddaughter. She was so nice.
I went in for injured thumb. The receptionist was very friendly and nurse Pam did a great job in attending me. All the staff was very helpful!
If i could give zero stars I would. First of all, playing keeping up with the kardashians in your waiting room is a red flag. I should have left then. Second, I am pretty sick feeling and the only tests run for me were tests I requested. When they came back negative nothing was offered for me further. This woman was happy to throw an antibiotic at one of my symptoms and send me along? What a waste of time.
The desk staff were very nice and helpful and professional. The doctor Emily I saw was also nice, as well as understanding and supportive. I went here for the urgent care but they also offer PCP care and I will make an appt as I need a provider. The wait was not long for any of the 6-8 people present on this weekday evening.
Hi Paul,I am going to assume you are the supervisor for this office given that you are responding to these reviews, therefore I am directing my complaint to you. I came in for a routine testing and I was provided with a lab referral, however the samples I gave were collected in the wrong container at your office. I called a couple days later to get my results and come to find out, they were not performed by the lab. I called your practice to sort out the manner, and the receptionist was extremely disrespectful. Mind you, I did everything in my power to keep my composure but I shouldn’t have to receive such disrespect for a mistake that occurred on the end of your staff and physician. This is not my first time at your practice. I notice how busy and extremely understaffed your office is which again, is a concern, and to add the long wait time. But I tried my best to be understanding and I acknowledge that my other visits went well. I can certainly vouch for one particular Nurse and physician. I plan to take action and file a formal complaint to the health department. It’s absolutely unacceptable especially if I am not the only patient who has encountered disrespect and mistreatment at your practice.
Dr. Vivian was very attentive and caring. She remained vigilant during my issue and talked to me about a future path. I truly enjoyed my visit.
I am a frequent visitor the this office and I have a great experience everytime I’m here. My experiences have been so great that I decided to become a primary care patient. From the time that you come in the door the front staff are so pleasant and helpful. You can tell that they genuinely care about you. The nurses are very pleasant to. My PCP Laura Parker is the absolute best. Can’t say enough good things about her. If you visit this office I’m sure that you will have no regrets. This was posted by Erik Kemp. My google account shows my daughters name.
Pam was our nurse and was friendly and gentle with our daughter. The staff gets patients in and out promptly
My granddaughter had an abcess in her throat. They didnt see it. They didnt help her. An ENT drained it the next day and put her on antibiotics and steroids. She could barely talk and was in a lot of pain. Maybe they thought she was faking?? $100 for nothing
I recently went to this urgent care due to strep throat, possible ear infection and pink eye…While waiting in the lobby the staff at the front desk were nice to work with but when I was waiting they were chatting about patients and what they had come in for. I was there one day and then back the day after. The day after I was there they were chatting about a patient who was waiting in the lobby with me the day before.. the fact that I could figure out exactly who they were talking about I felt was extremely unprofessional and just had me thinking I’d be the next one to be chatted about when I walked out of there. I feel this is probably against policy as well because patient confidentiality….?!?As far as the care and prescriptions I was given was completely wrong… I was told I have an ear infection in my left ear, and given antibiotics for strep and an ear infection, the day after I was there for pink eye and was told they didn’t know what type of pink eye I had. Well I had an actual dr appointment today which is why I am now writing this. My dr said that the antibiotics I was prescribed won’t do “shit” and will not even touch my ear infection. He also told me that my left ear is not infected, that my right ear is. He also knew right away what kind of pink eye I had and also that again the medicine I was prescribed at this urgent care won’t do “shit” for my eye.So essentially since Friday I’ve been in limbo taking medicine I thought was going to help and wondering why I don’t feel any better to have an actual dr appointment today to just be told that everything that happened at that urgent care was incorrect. So I would recommend to not go there, although the staff was polite there were way too many cons.
Just went in to get a check up on this cold I’ve been getting and the nursing staff was amazing especially Pam I can’t thank her enough for all her help. Again Pam you’re a rock star ⭐️ keep your awesome vibes going🫶🏼
Pam treated me wonderfully today. She made me feel very welcome and appreciated. Keep it up!
Nurse Pam was great. She took her time with my wife and answered all questions. The visit was great.
Pam was very kind and very helpful with my visit today. We need more health care workers like her.
Amazing staff!! Everyone at WestView Urgent Care is so professional and courteous. Pam was especially helpful
Fantastic experience at Westview Urgent Care this evening. From the staff that answered my questions on the phone, to the front desk staff upon arrival, to the medical assistant taking my vitals, to the NP (Emily) that saw me - stellar service all around! My questions were answered promptly and accurately, staff were all extremely professional and highly skilled. As a medical provider, I am fairly critical with high expectations for medical care received. This place did not disappoint, and I would bring any one of my family members here for care.
My son had an exposure at school and needed a test done at day 5. I called 24 hours before hand to see if I needed an appointment for COVID testing and was told we could just come in. We arrived about 1 and explained what we needed, gave her all of our information and was told you are about 3 people behind but we will call you when its your turn. About maybe 10-15 minutes later we were called back. With this being a crazy time in anybodys life, they were awesome from the start. My 11 year old was so nervous but starting with the check in and him hearing how nice and polite she was to me, it really calmed him and the nurse that swabbed both him and I, was so nice and easy, especially with him. Thank you to everyone here from check in, to the nurse and the Dr that came in to check us.If I was able to make an appointment before coming I so would have because I hate just showing up but the staff all around was so nice and polite and it really made a big difference for my son! Thank you for all you are doing and have done through this time!
The staff was helpful and nice. The medical staff listened to all my issues patiently and addressed them with care and concern. They made sure they understood my concerns thoroughly. My doctor clearly explained treatment, making me feel at ease. HOWEVER, I was a bit put off by the offices being in a strip-mall, instead of an office building. As someone not from the area, the construction everywhere was overwhelming, slow, and difficult to navigate. I was given misinformation about getting new patient paperwork from the website. The person on the phone said no, but the person at the facility said yes. It took me about 30 minutes to fill out the paperwork in the facility, inconveniently pushing back my appointment, resulting in a ridiculous wait time in the exam room.
I thought the staff was very courteous and friendly. The nurse practioner was very thorough and was pleasant to deal with. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars is the day that I went there they did not have an xray tech there so they werent able to do an xray on my knee but we did believe that I had not broke anything so I think it was ok. Also, even though we werent able to get an x-ray he was still pretty knowledgeable with what was wrong and did a great job with referring me to what I would need to do further. Thanks for all your help.
My husband and I came to this urgent care when he was having very painful back pains on and off. I must say that this urgent care was the best Ive ever been to! We sat for only 10-15 minutes (after paperwork was finished) before being called back to the room. The nurse practitioner that he saw that day, Laura Parker, was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She was very kind to us as well as quick and efficient during our visit there. She listened to my husbands complaints/concerns. The medications she wrote for him worked for him right away and overall we left there extremely happy. We will definitely be returning there for any of our families urgent matters.
I absolutely do not like coming here, but have no choice if it’s an emergency and my doctor is booked. The two young ladies that work the front desk are so unprofessional! Whenever I call, they hang up on me. When I come in, they always have an attitude like they don’t want to be there. I used to work as a receptionist and you’re suppose to warm and welcoming to guests. Something they lack. I also don’t think the service provided by doctors is good. I came in to do two tests, just for the male doctor to say he doesn’t know what’s wrong lol. He didn’t sound confident in his job. Never again.EDIT:To the person who replied to my review, no where did I mention what day I came into visit. Your team lacks paying attention to detail.
Thank you for being so kind Pam, she gave me a coupon as well since my situation right now, I had to pay out of pocket. It was fast & easy service.
I have been going to this clinic for my primary care for over 5 years now. Although I have had 4 primary care providers here, all have been very caring and concerned about my health. They continue to research my treatment needs well after the office visit. They call as soon as the labs come in. My current primary care has called me with updates three times today from my noon visit. Very good care.
Very friendly and Professional, Pam treated me very well. Highly recommended this Urgent Care.
My Primary care doc is fantastic, but I’d toss out everyone at the front desk if I could. Unpleasant. Unwilling to dig one iota deeper than the first computer screen. Does not pass on messages. Seems to forget that primary care patients go there too. Impolite. Unprofessional. This review is after going there for primary care for YEARS - not a one-time offense!
I gave this urgent care a second chance because of convenience in location but I do not recommend it.I have been sick with a fever for 5 days and was told to come in if I still had a fever and because I had a rash to an antibiotic that they prescribed for me. They asked me if I still wanted to be seen, I said yes but I guess I’d check with my primary. The wait was already over an hour long and they decided to skip me multiple times and pretended it was my fault. On the phone before coming they had told me to come in - I show up and they acted like why was I even there.Completely disrespectful and don’t care about the people they see. Don’t recommend, go somewhere else if you can.
Terrible place. The female Dr I saw seemed spaced out. Took her 15 minutes to figure out how to write Dr note for employer. Then went to pick up RX and it wasnt filled because it was sent in with my middle name as first name and first name as middle name so it could not be filled. I will never go back there especially if I would have to see the same Dr. The rest of the staff were very pleasant but she needs get herself together plus she was training someone.
Front desk lady was very sweet.. Pam the nurse that came out to get me was wonderful and listened to me..
I was nervous at first going to an urgent care clinic but once I stepped through the door, I knew this was a good place! They are clean, organized and the front desk ladies are sweet as pie! They laugh and smile and are never rude! Ive watched them disinfect every chair in this place in between patients. The nurses are sweet and patient with me and the Doctors have the best bedside manner Ive seen in a long time! This is a good place to go! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Miss Pam was very friendly as she was checking my vitals and dr A is always awesome and very friendly great doctor’s office
Long wait time only seen nurses. No doctor said my child didnt have strep and after taking him to reg docs next day found out he did have strep. Better to just wait see your regular doctor waste of time and money. We waited 2 hrs for nothing.
I made a same day, urgent care appointment for my daughter. I arrived 15 minutes prior to a very small waiting room with no real room for social distancing. Did paperwork, no issues. After 10 minutes past our appointment time passed, I politely asked what the approximate wait time was. The lady at the front desk said she’d check, and then said there’s 2 people ahead of you- but i don’t know how long that is.I responded that “we had an appointment”- my daughter was in need of X-rays and I’d rather not have her around sick people. The lady snapped at me that no one gets taken at their exact appointment time ever anywhere. 😳Hmm. Ok. The lady before us had been waiting 2 HOURS in the waiting area.Once we were seen- the staff inside was great- kind and articulate. The front desk staff needs a few lessons in how to speak to people.Never again.
Quickly and friendly service right off the bat. Smiles all around. Pam was very attentive. Will definitely return when I need to again
I had a little bit of a wait but they were very accommodating with my son. Pam at the Frederick location did a great job getting us in and out
Was seen very quickly after arriving. Pam was very professional and did a great job with my lab draws. Thanks!
I have relied on the doctors and staff at Westview Urgent Care for over five years and they continue to impress me! The office staff is very personable. The nurses are attentive and the doctors are thorough and truly care about every patient that walks through their door. Dr. Agarwal is one of those most caring practitioners - for both urgent care and primary care needs.
Came today with my son and Pam was just so nice and kind. Great bed side manners and so attentive.
I love this urgent care for when it comes to getting a quick and informative check up. Ms Pam is a great at her job and quick with the covid test. Thank you guys.
Pam was amazing with my son at his appointment she took her time and made sure he was comfortable at his appointment
Great care, very professional staff! Pam is very friendly, patient, and caring!! Highly recommended!
This should have been a 5 star review. Appointment was easy and quick to make, we were seen in a reasonable amount of time and everyone was friendly. I was thinking how great this place was! BUT...the ENTIRE reason for seeking treatment was to confirm if my daughter had the flu or not...which I made very clear. I was told, after paying $158, and half way through the exam, that they didnt have any flu tests. Why couldnt this have been said up front? Even when I told the nurse (who was great by the way) that I needed to confirm if it was the flu, never mentioned they couldnt test for it. I would have left and gone somewhere else. Instead, I paid to be told she may or may not have the flu. Guess what? I KNEW THAT BEFORE WE CAME! The PA we saw said it wouldnt change the treatment plan. Again...guess what? We didnt care about that. Shes a healthy 6 year old. We would have just let it run its course. We needed to confirm as she had been around her elderly and medically fragile grandparents. We were trying to confirm if we had exposed them to the flu so they could take action if needed. I basically wasted 2 hours and $158 as I had to leave and find another facility and pay for another visit. Maybe its best to not assume WHY people seek care. Your office made a really stressful day even worse, when all you had to do is tell me you couldnt test for the flu and I would have left. Instead I was running around town, out $158, in the pouring rain, with a very sick 6 year old, looking for another facility. I recommend others specifically ask if the service they are seeking can be provided before they pay!
Used this urgent care, because my wife was feeling ill. Signed in, did all the filling out of paperwork, and waited to be seen. The receptionist was friendly and greeted us with a smile. She was busy with other patients so she had her hands full. The wait was a few, which look liked because the staff was doing sports physicals, so it was timely. Once we were called in, we did the usual weight, blood pressure check, and medical questioning. Then we went to see the doctor. The doctor gave a thoro exam to try to find my wifes condition. The doctor was nice and comforted my wife as best as possible. Eventually she seemed to find what was wrong. The doc gave her opinion and gave her a script for antibiotics. After that we were on our merry way.
Went here an hour before they closed with an awful sinus infection. They saw me quickly and gave me the treatment I needed.
I went there for thumb stitches ,Sara and Pam was a life savers because I really don’t realize that I have that big cut and they did a great job thank you Sara and Pam I really appreciate it
Front desk was nice and efficient. Pam, my nurse was friendly, cheerful and efficient and the Dr. was thorough and very pleasant
Was seen quickly and received excellent care. Pam did a great job assisting with the process!
The care here is excellent. Pam took really good care of my mother when she had a leg wound.
Their customer service is appalling. My wife took my son to this urgent care today and she was asked to pay a $153 to be seen although I should only be charged $20 towards co-pay for any in-network urgent care. When I called the urgent care along with the Cigna provider, the lady on the phone said that my wife did not state that she has any benefit which is a blatant lie! The woman on the phone wasnt even prepared to listen, we had to repeat every thing multiple times and finally she had us waiting on the line for over 20 mins and then another person comes on and we had to repeat everything all over again. She then claims that as part of their process, they would charge any deductible left for the patient but they dont collect the co-pay which I thought was weird! Finally, they said theyd review and let us know! Never going back here, the folk here should be trained to do their job
I have been using Westview as my Primary care for over a year. I have had outstanding clinical help. I’m particularly impressed by the fact that visits are not rushed and I felt they listened to music issues well.Emily Cooper is currently my provider and I found her to be intelligent, insightful and compassionate.
I love these people. They took such great care of my entire family... front desk, techs, nurse, doctor. So very patient. They were an Incrediable light in a dark storm. Beyond Fantastic. I would give them many more stars. Please be aware not all urgent cares center are alike. The staff at this location makes all the difference. Amen to the entire staff at The Westview Urgent Care Medi Center. Thank you again, for you are the definition of the word - Care Giver.
The front desk staff are great, and when I had to get stitches a few months ago the doctor was fantastic. However, when I went to Westview last night for abdominal pain, vomiting and elevated temperature, the PA told me he didn’t believe my pain was that bad (because wincing, gritting my teeth and moving away during the exam because it hurt too much was not enough? Maybe I should have started screaming), that my symptoms were too vague and interrogated me about my medical history like he didn’t believe me. While I completely understand that I needed to get more tests and imaging for a diagnosis, it was disrespectful and unprofessional to be told that I was faking my pain. I called them this afternoon and they said they would review my case and that the PA was new. Hopefully this was an isolated incident but it was appalling to be treated this way.
Had a great experience at TruCare urgent care. Pam specifically was very friendly and super nice!
Service was great! I will definitely come back again if I need any services related to my health! Nikki was also amazing as well.😊
We went there 3 times, they charged around $200 every time, and didt do anything to help us. Last year, my 2 year old daughters arm was dislocated. The doctor didnt do anything, and said it looked ok. Then we were charged about $200. The point is that my little baby had to bear the severe pain for the whole night until tomorrow, I took her to another place, and they fixed her arm right away. Every time I thought about this, I regretted so much to took my daughter to this Urgent Care. Also, the front desk young lady, was rude and impatient. Never go there any more!
Had a visit with the new doctor who replaced Emily and was checked in by Pam. Always a quick and easy visit to this office. Thanks Pam!!!
Had a great experience here. I went in for an issue and was surprised by the short wait! The appropriate care was administered and I was on my way. The staff is friendly, professional, efficient, and calm. They have all the necessary machines onsite so they can evaluate you promptly. My new go-to spot for all urgent care needs.
This Urgent Care is the best in Frederick. They are friendly to their patients and never have problems with seeing their patients in a timely fashion. I would love to come here for primary but they don’t accept my insurance but they do accept it on the other Ghandour on the Urgent Care side. Wonderful doctors and nurses and staff. Would recommend this facility to anyone who needs a doctor real fast.
Would not recommend to anyone seeking treatment for sickness. They would be fine for injuries maybe, but I’ve never been to an urgent care that treats people like this. The service in person was average. Nothing bad or good. It was unprofessional to be eating at the front desk in my opinion while I was trying to be signed in for an appointment to see someone due to feeling sick, but I wasn’t concerned with that. All I wanted was someone to take a look at me and help me figure out what was wrong. After being swabbed for multiple test (no exam was done besides barely looking at my throat), I never received a call back confirming what I had. All they told me was I was Covid negative so I would be given antibiotics. It took me calling every single day for them to finally tell me what my swab results were 6 days after the appointment. It took over 20 minutes on the phone getting transferred around to different people because the first person said that she didn’t even see I had been swabbed for anything besides Covid🤦🏽♀️ I was seen Tuesday or Wednesday and didn’t hear what my results were until the following Monday. I was then told that my swab tested negative so they were not sure what I have… (all they knew was that it was not normal streptococcus but some kind of foreign bacteria… that doesn’t help me know what I have then… just what I DONT have.) but should continue taking the antibiotics even though they weren’t sure what I have. I told them that some of my symptoms were getting worst and they told me that it sounded viral so to just come back after finishing the antibiotics if I was still sick?!?! My cough sounds viral but you want me to finish taking the antibiotics that are not helping?🤦🏽♀️ AND don’t come back until I’m finished the antibiotics so by then I’ll have healed myself so what was the point of coming to the doctors? Worst care experience I’ve ever had. They seemed very slow and there was no urgency to figure out why I had a fever of 103 or to help me. They just gave me some antibiotics and hoped that would get rid of me. I still gave 2 stars however though, because the staff members themselves seemed super nice and pleasant especially while I was feeling horrible. And everyone on the phone seemed nice and doubled checked for me because they didn’t know why my lab results were taking so long to come back either. The staff members were nice people. Just the knowledge and efficiency was lacking for a medical practice. Will not be coming back.
I have never been to a better urgent care . Dr Parker listens to every concern and tries to find the best solutions possible. Both my children have been there multiple times and one has a rare metabolic issue ... they listen and try to understand any concerns I may have. Front desk staff are friendly and seem happy to help.
Called at 750pm, got me an appointment by 810(Not their fault they needed to check all my information) and were prompt, listened well and had my prescription ready to be picked up by 8:40pm(the pharmacy actually being the one to slow the process down.)Very friendly front office staff, effective communication from all staff and an excellent visit. I came in dreading it and left very satisfied. Cannot recommend enough.
I was in a 3-car accident and needed to be assessed and possibly receive medical attention. I was able to make an appointment and get right in. The Care Center made an appointment for the imaging I needed and I was seen the same day. The doctor was very attentive, professional and kind. Highly recommend.
I love this urgent care office everyone is super friendly. Its the only place I go to for urgent care partly because theres very little wait! Today I went in and it was crazy probably 9/10 patients ahead of me. Usually thats a two to three hour wait but I was in and out in less than an hour and that has been my longest wait by far Im usually called back within 10 minutes. Two days before Christmas during flu season I was so happy!! You can make appointments and even use them for a primary care physician. My Dr is Dr Agarwal I love her! When Ive made spots and had to reschedule they are always very understanding and Ive never been charged a penalty.
For someone who booked a primary visit 1 week in advance should not have to wait over an hour after there appointment time. My appointment was 530 here it is 6:30 and Im still sitting in the room as I type this waiting ..... if it wasent for liking my primary doctor I would totally change offices
I have a busy work schedule and a busy kids schedule. I looked up this urgent care specifically for their X-ray capabilities. Scheduled an appt online for 9am, arranged for coverage for kids etc, get there and the receptionist states “we don’t do those online appts, it’s first come first serve”. I’m sorry but are you kidding me, I scheduled for a reason. There is no notice anywhere that they don’t use these appts. They didn’t call to notify me. There were 9 other people in there with an estimated wait time of HOURS. Very unprofessional!! Deactivate your online schedule if you no longer use it.
I visited today with my son and Pam was very gentle and kind. We overall had a great experience and would recommend everyone to this establishment.
Fast service and great nurses. PAM!!! Was amazing so sweet and made sure my daughter felt comfortable.
GO TO A DIFFERENT URGENT CARE!!!If I could give negative stars I would! I went here yesterday after falling 15’ from a roof to concrete. I explained what had happened, the fact I had a giant hematoma on my leg and the pain I was experiencing to the attending physician. He sent me off for an X-ray without even looking at my hematoma. Me, not being a medical expert, assumed this was proper protocol and did as instructed. Today, a friend who is a nurse looked at my hematoma and said it should be drained. I told her I didn’t know this and the doctor never looked. Here’s the kicker, the doctor refused to look at it unless I paid extra. Even though he should have looked at it based on what I told him yesterday. BAD BUSINESS ZERO INTEGRITYForgot to mention I also never received a follow up call about my X-ray and the results!GO TO A DIFFERENT URGENT CARE!!!
Excellent and efficient. Caring staff and wonderful providers. We are lucky to have you in our area when our PCPs are not Available. Thank you!
I came here this afternoon to have my daughter seen. The staff was prompt and professional and despite a waiting room full of people on a busy Saturday, the wait wasn’t terribly long. It was very convenient to get her medications filled there without making a second stop on the way home with a sick child. An irate woman came in acting crazy and I felt bad for the staff for having to deal with the crazy. They were calm and polite with her.I had a good experience here and would return.
I was seen by DR.Agarwal, She was very nice and listen to my concerns. she help me understand my X-rays and my diagnosis. I appreciate her care and kindness. The assistant was equally nice and very efficient , she also tookmy X-rays , have probably have had close to 50 X-rays on that ankle before, but these are the clearest I have seen. she was very patient and explained to me what position to place my foot. she was aware that I had limited flexibility and adjusted to my needs. Finally the front end staff was efficient , helpful and answered any questions I might have. overall a very nice experienceR G 4/16
Went there for whole body hives of my 11yr old... the PA we saw was kinda odd and overly scratched and twirled his hair (unhygenic) while talking to us. And MISDIAGNOSED and MISPRESCRIBED him with contact dermatitis and gave prednisone. It was whole body hives allergic reaction to a virus.Pediatrician follow up 2 days later totally disagreed with Urgent Care for diag + Rx... as did the ER doc who saw 4 days after. (But they agreed with each other). This was the 2nd visit ever here. My first visit was many yrssss ago for eye lacerations. Instead of sending me right to ER they took my money, did a worthless look over, and sent me anyways to ER. ER said they NEVER should have admitted me there n just sent me straight to ER as could have lost vision.I will say the front desk lady and young man on June 11 def were friendly, prompt, and didnt take guff from this one angry patient making demands and huffy/puffy... I appreciate they tried to keep an orderly office, and on a medium busy Saturday @1pm they got us in and out in 50 min ish (to me for an urgent care thats good). Convenient location as well. These are only reasons im giving 2 stars.
UPDATE::10/09/18I have been a patient here for a few years and have been so pleased! Not so much today. I called to make an appointment because I wasn’t feeling well. I was told (by Carol) I could not make an appointment and would be considered urgent care and to just walk in. This has never been the case in the years I’ve been going here. I asked her to please check what she was saying with my Doctor. She came back to the line, apologized saying she was new and that I was correct. She made my appointment for 2:00 pm and then called me back at 1:30 pm to say my 1:00 pm appointment needed to be rescheduled to 3:30 pm because she accidentally double booked me with another patient. I confirmed that the appointment was 2:00 pm and not 1:00 pm and she said yes. There is new front desk staff and they are not pleasant at all. They do not greet you when you come in, no hello or welcome and zero eye contact. Luckily I know the check in procedures so I signed in and sat down. Unfortunately, others did not and waited a few minutes before being addressed. Then I was given new patient forms and when I politely tried to explain I was not new, I was asked to still fill them out which I did with no problem. This delayed my appointment by 10 minutes plus the 10 waiting to be acknowledged that I was even there. I get to the back and am asked why I filled out new patient forms when I am not a new patient. I politely suggested they ask that question to their front desk.My visit with my Doctor was wonderful as usual. She is honestly the only reason I continue going there. As I was leaving, no one addressed me standing there waiting to check out. I had to ask if they needed anything else from me and they just stared blankly at me.Maybe I notice these things a little more because I’ve been in this industry for so long. I guess I tend to tolerate a bit more than other patients because I know the stress.————————————————————————————-I started with them as an urgent care patient and am now a current primary care patient. The urgent care side of things could be a little better. The wait times are generally hit or miss. For example, I went in last night thinking being so close to their closing time the wait wouldnt be that bad. I arrived at 6:40 PM, sat in the waiting room until 7:38 PM then sat an additional 30 minutes in the exam room. I was finally seen at 8:09 PM and I was finished at 8:24 PM.It has been extremely hot in there the past few times Ive gone. It was so bad last night, I really thought I was going to pass out.As far as cleanliness, Ive never seen that problem. Ive been working in the healthcare industry for over 17 years so I understand patient care trumps housekeeping. Furthermore most medical offices have a cleaning crew that comes in after hours. I took pictures (see in this post) while I was in the exam room last night and the room was immaculate. Which says something seeing how it was close to their closing time. Now as far as the primary care side, I love it! Its very easy to get a convenient appointment time and I love my provider Laura Parker! I see her for my annual exams as well as specialty issues from endocrinology to nutrition. I will say that it would be nice as a primary care patient to be able to get same-day sick visits and not have to come in as an urgent care patient and wait.Lastly, my review of the staff. They do seem to have a lot of turnover at the front desk. I never usually see the same people. Getting messages to my provider has also been an issue going through the front desk staff. I have had (and still have) issues accessing their patient portal and the front desk has not been helpful or knowledgeable about that. The practice administrator, Paul is a great help with things especially being a liaison. He will try to triage your issue so you dont have to wait for an answer. He handles both medical and business concerns and is honest be it good or bad.
I went to Westview Urgent Care Medi Center, the issue isnt with the doctors or medical staff, the issue is with those who handle the billing. I received a bill and was charged $25 for a After Hours Visit Fee which is completely false. 1. I came in during your hours and 2. How would I have been able to visit after hours makes no sense. IF you processed something after hours that is on YOU and YOUR staff NOT me for coming in during your walk-in hours. Needless to say I have been on the phone with my insurance company ironing out the unnecessary charge that this urgent care has charged. I find who ever is handling their billing/processing to be dishonest if you will, considering two of my colleagues have recently had negative experiences being charged inaccurately there as well. For those reasons, I will not be going back. I have never had any issues with any other urgent cares in the Frederick area until this one.
Pam and Michelle were amazing today, I have never been to urgent care and had staff be so kind and personable. Thank you guys so much for your help today!
Wonderful! Again and again this staff shows how much the initial Oath the medical staff took to help and care about people continues with them today. In other words these people truly care about their patient first and foremost. Thank you - may this team continue their kind and important care for the patient always.
Pam was nice and helped and the other lady that helped me she was super nice too
Last week when we visited, Nurse Pam was very reassuring and attentive while we waited to be seen by the doctor.
Very impressed with this urgent care. The wait was reasonable. Dr Tholen was very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.
Dr. Vivian was amazing and very knowledgable. It’s great to have drs that go out of their way to care for their patients.
I was sick for a few days and wanted to get checked out. Waited approximately 45 minutes. Fine. Went back for 2 minutes. They gave me a covid test and we’re sending me on my way with no explanation. I wasn’t understanding why I wasn’t seeing a doctor. Usually you go to the doctor to discuss what’s going on with you. Covid wasn’t my concern. It was just being smart about it because I was already there. I really think that the front desk staff could learn to communicate better as well as the staff in the back taking vitals, etc. I understand everyone is under stress right now, but not communicating doesn’t help. Especially when you’re dealing with SICK patients.
Pam was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend! Vivian is very knowledgeable and sweet.
I arrived on a Monday night at 8:30 pm. Both the website and the sign on the door said it was open until 9 pm. I went in and asked to be seen. The receptionist was very rude and said they werent taking any more patients, even though the waiting room was empty. It isnt like they were slammed. She was unprofessional and rude.
I have visited Westview Urgent Care clinic numerous times for my children, however my child developed bacterial conjunctivitis, and a sinus infection. I revisited this clinic to seek treatment for my child however, the staff refused to see my child due to her covid like symptoms, I was infuriated because I explained to the staff that she had tested negative for covid four days prior at this clinic. I then proceeded to tell the staff that she was tested yesterday for the virus again and her results were negative, yet the staff continued to ask for proof of my childs negative covid test, and offered solely a televisit. One of the staff members also told me my child has CovidI was very dissatisfied with the service, given that my child was unable to be seen, and how the staff handled the situation.
Was seen in urgent care the most friendly urgent care in Frederick. Was seen by physician Nilima she listen to my concerns and diagnosed me and treated me feel so much better. If you want good service and a friendly atmosphere go there.
I had to laugh when I got an email asking me to review this clinic, seeing as we left before being seen.We were looking for Covid testing for my daughter. Online, the website says that they offer curbside Covid testing.Spoiler alert: Wrong.Using the online system, we made an appointment for 0900.I went in at 0855 and signed in, leaving my daughter in the car. The front desk took my ID and insurance card and told me to go back to the car.At 0935 (40 minutes after arrival) they brought me paperwork to fill out. They said to come inside after I finished. I assumed that meant that we’d be seen soon.Nope.We went inside at 0945 and were told to wait in the waiting room. There wasn’t room in there for 6’ social distancing. My daughter and another woman were both coughing. (I was surprised that they’d ask people who were there specifically with Covid symptoms to sit among everyone in the waiting room. I’d assumed that’s why they were supposed to be doing curbside.)At 1000, I asked how far behind they were running. They said they weren’t running behind. I said, if I had an 0900 appointment and it’s now 1000, they’re running *at least* an hour behind. She insisted that they weren’t running behind—there were just people ahead of us. Okay, whatever—clearly our vocabularies do not match in this regard. We left at 10:20 without seeing a provider.Summary: the website is inaccurate about there being curbside testing, and the appointment time isn’t an actual appointment time.PS-I’ll add two anecdotes from the waiting room:- The guy on my left said that even though there’s a long wait, this is the best urgent care center in Frederick and they care about you.- The guy on my right said that he was recently in there with kidney stones, doubled over and vomiting, and he waited two hours to be seen, and then they sent him to the ER.Editing to add the following in response to the snark about getting up early to go elsewhere:I have no problem getting up early and/or waiting. I do, however, have a problem with a clinic misrepresenting itself. Either you honor appointments, or you’re a walk-in facility. There’s nothing at all wrong with operating as a walk-in clinic—the problem is when you offer appointments as if they’re appointments.Since your website continues to show curbside testing, I have to assume that presenting an accurate representation of your business isn’t a priority. If you give people the wrong expectations, you’re setting yourself up for dissatisfied customers and poor reviews.
My child had a possible covid exposure at school and needed to be tested in order to return. I called urgent care the day before to make an appointment for the test, as advised on the website. We arrived 20 minutes early as instructed. We then had to wait 50 minutes past the appointment time for a 2 minute procedure. Two other people, coming for the same test, arrived after us and left before us. During our wait, mask rules were not enforced and there was no effort to clean spaces between patients. Once we were called back for the swab, I requested the office use LabCorp over Quest, as LabCorp is our insurance preferred lab. I was told at the height of the pandemic, Quest was able to accommodate supply demand so they prefer Quest. I again requested the sample be sent to LabCorp and it was ignored. Overall super unimpressed with this visit which is incredibly disappointing and a 180 turn from our first experience with this location in October 2020.Edit: In reading another review, I saw a response that anyone presenting for a covid test was given a thorough review. We saw a provider for the swab which took all of 2-3 minutes and no assessment was done, not a temperature check, blood pressure, height/weight, etc.
Highly recommend for welcoming and responsive staff, quality care, clean facility and ease of processing (from the initial call before coming, through checkout). Simply put, the human factor, respect and consideration for individual experience, is the number one reason I appreciate and recommend treatment here. We worked in particular with a nurse practitioner, Bisi (Oyebisi Olanrewaju) and Brittany (I think she was a nursing assistant). They were both so attuned and helpful, seeing of the whole, that I would see them as my primary care if my insurance supported it.
I agree with the last review posted its a waist of time and money to visit here. The wait is long to see someone and then I felt like they didnt know what they where talking about. The lady spent about a minute with us and left to check with someone came back for like 30 seconds and said the doctor would come in and see me. Then about 5 minutes later came in and said we are going to say its this. And had a prescription filled out but since Im breastfeeding I couldnt take it. So she said it would get better on its own and if it didnt start improving to call them Monday. So I spent almost two hours and $140 to still not know whats going on.
Great experience today with Pam and Vivien. You both were so kind and helpful.
First I will say that the Doctors and nurses at this facility were great on my visit. I fell off my bike and had a broken elbow and visited this facility back in October of 2021. The front desk kept saying my insurance card was not valid, even though I pulled it up on the website to show it was. Found out later they were typing in a the letter O instead of the number 0. I was told I would have to pay up front, which I did to the tune of almost $500. The VERY NEXT day my insurance called and spoke to someone there in billing and verified my insurance and told them to file a claim so that my insurance can pay them and they can then reimburse me. This was back in October and they still have not filed a claim. Despite my insurance company calling and my calling and leaving many messages with no return call or getting put to an answering machine that continually states the message box is full so you cant leave a message. I understand Covid is making everything difficult these days but at the time I was there in October it was not and I am not talking about treatment but a billing issue that should have been taken care of months ago or at least the courtesy of a return phone call to me or my insurance company.
