The techs and phlebotomists have always been wonderful, but they were especially wonderful today. Stephanie was quick with the ultrasound and Charise is very experienced with drawing blood. Both of them got me in and out in less than 10 min so I could get back to take my daughter to school and get to work. Thank you for your professionalism and for all that you do!
Charise has been amazing throughout the IUI and IVF process! She was always able to get my sample within the first try (in other clinics, that has been a struggle so it was always a pleasant surprise for me at her efficiency but just speaks to her superb skill level). But beyond that, Charise always answered any questions I had and if she didn’t know, she’d find someone in the office to help me - having that kind of resource during an emotional time was invaluable and I’ll always appreciate her being such an advocate!
I’m unable to get an appointment for one of the routine tests after 3 months of attempts to schedule.The front desk woman is older and calls me ‘honey’ ‘oh sweetie’. On the second month she said, ‘well if you know when you’re getting your period you can call and let us know and we’ll be able to schedule you so you don’t miss out.’ As directed, I called earlier for the 3rd month and said I’d get my period next week. Her response now changed ‘oh honey, you’ll have to call back on the day you get your period.’ I said ‘for the past 2 months I haven’t been able to get an appointment when doing this method.’ ‘Oh sweetie, we’ll get you scheduled, just call the first day of your period.’ Today I called and the response was ‘it’s difficult to schedule with everyone (the doctors,etc) and we can’t get you in.’I’m a business owner, I’m busy, I don’t have time for private healthcare companies that can’t figure out an effective way to ensure patients can get scheduled. This is a fertility clinic, you need to have a strategy on how you can serve your clients and work with a short schedule due to periods. Working around periods is something unique to this business, yet you chose to be in this business so figure it out instead of making excuses.
Its refreshing to be welcomed to every appointment by Lynn and Karen at the front desk - theyre extremely organized and always pleasant to interact with, answering my many questions.Charise is a wizard when it come to drawing blood! She is gentle, explains what shes doing, and gets in and out of the vein swiftly. We also get some fun conversation in the mix, too.Stacy is amazing for every ultrasound, and always keeps me apprised of whats happening next and why. She is also very gentle and professional, and a blast to chat with!Jennifer from the financial team has made my experience with billing, insurance, and options seamless - she answered every question with empathy and made sure I was aware of the many nuances and considerations, all while remaining impartial but supportive.So very grateful for this amazing staff!
Lynn and Karen are the best part about my many visits to FCI! They are always so happy to see you and welcome you with a big smile at every visit. They also check in on you and ask about your life, not just your fertility journey. We all know how scary these appointments can be and I always appreciate seeing them as soon as I walk into the office! I also wanted to shout out ultrasound tech Stacy. She makes me feel so at ease at every ultrasound. She makes sure to let me know all the information she can so that I walk out of the room feeling well informed and knowing that I am always in the best care!
Charise has done my labs twice and both times have been so quick and painless! I didnt even feel it! Blood and needles make me so squeemish so i appreciate her so much! And shes very sweet too!
Karen was wonderful! She was very helpful and considerate of my time. She went above and beyond to help me with my appointments and did it with a big smile on her face, Lynn was very nice and helpful and made the checkout process very easy. She was patient and courteous with me as well. Karen and Lynn really made my day much better as it was not the best day for me, but their positive attitude and helpfulness really uplifted my day. Love all of the staff in the Hinsdale location. They remember your face and name every visit. They are friendly and genuinely excited for you with every milestone success you reach. After I graduated from FCI because of a successful transfer, my last visit was bitter/sweet. They were so happy for me and asked me to send photos. I had a great experience at FCI under Dr. Sipe’s care. He is an expert in his field and his recommended protocol resulted in a successful pregnancy for me. My nurse Brittany was always available whenever I had questions or concerns. Karen and Lynn at the front desk were also very kind and accommodating. We have had a very positive experience with FCI Hinsdale. All of the staff are kind, professional and competent in what they do. I especially would like to call out the phlebotomist, Charise, as she always takes the time to accommodate me when giving blood. She’s also super quick/efficient and I hardly even notice that she’s drawing blood. Additionally, Lynn and Karen at the front desk are rockstars and my nurse Brittany was such a joy to have as part of my care team. Really appreciated everything they did for us along the way!
For months, I frequently visited the Hinsdale office, and I consistently received the best service from everyone there. Each day, I was met with kind and friendly faces and encouraging words.Despite the circumstances that brought me to the office, Dr. Sipe and his staff were exceptional. Our miracle IVF baby will be one year old in a few months, and we are forever grateful to Dr. Sipe and his team, including the office staff—Karen and Lynne—and the wonderful nurses and techs, Brittany and Karina.
Everyone has been very caring and informative each step of the way including consultation, testing, Financials, and with every question Ive had. I am at the beginning of this new step in my journey to parenthood. The road leading to this has been stressful and emotional and they have all made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am excited to be taking this next step with this wonderful team at the Hinsdale office!
I received a bill from the lab for testing that was covered under a flat fee I paid. Ive called FCI many times, and they said it would be corrected by the office manager, they agreed Im not responsible for the invoice. Each time I received a new invoice from the testing facility, I called FCI, and they promised to correct the charges. Ive now received a collections letter. Beyond frustrating, and the office manager would never call me back.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jennifer Dawson (financial coordinator). She is so quick to respond and you can tell she truly cares about making this already painful experience as painless as possible when it comes to the finances. Because of her, I have saved thousands of dollars. She has looked into my insurance and notified me on changes to make to ensure I am spending the least amount possible. I am so beyond grateful for her!
Billing department is terrible. I was traveling and needed US and labs done. I called the facility in advance to verify pricing. I called back a different day to verify pricing. I scheduled the appointment at paid in full the quoted amount at time of service. I confirmed with receptionist that I was cash pay and that I had paid in full. Three months later I got a bill for $90. After talking with billing I was told the previously quoted pricing wouldn’t be honored and I owed money.The phlebotomist and ultrasound tech were good and efficient. I never met their doctors. This review is if you care about the cost of your medical care and don’t want surprise bills months after treatment.
I couldnt be more thankful of the staff and care team at FCI! I appreciate how Dr. Uhler is patient, takes time to discuss my needs and treatment plan and I love how she is so honest. And I always look forward to receiving updates from Aleks-She always makes me feel at ease regardless of the situation. Charise has helped me overcome my fear of needles- I feel like a pro now and never break a sweat! And Karen and Lynn at the front desk are always so kind. Its nice to see the same friendly faces every time I come. Its been an emotional process and the care team have helped make the process so much easier by being so supportive.
Dr. Sipe and his clinical support team (especially my nurse Alexis) were excellent during my IVF process. I constantly bombarded them with questions and they were always willing to answer and support me as needed. The whole IVF process is scary and nerve reckoning but working with professionals who truly care makes a huge difference. I am very thankful and appreciative of my care under Dr. Sipe and highly recommend working with him if you are considering this process.
Main location I go to. Brittany is my nurse and she is always helpful and gets back to me within 24 hours. Charise is great at drawing blood. I hate getting my blood drawn but charise does it where you don’t feel the needle. Stacy recently did my ultrasound and made it go by quick and easy. She took my mind off it by talking about Disney the whole time.
Lynn and Stacy both made my morning. I had forgotten to make an important monitoring appointment and Lynn was able to help me get a same day scheduled and Stacy greeted me with all of the friendliness and care in the world when I arrived. I so appreciated them today.
Charise was my phlebotomist for all of my many office visits requiring a blood draw. Her technique is flawless and efficient and she was always kind and attentive during the draw. As someone weigh a lifelong fear of giving blood/needles, she made me the most relaxed and calm knowing she was doing the draw. Thanks Charise!!

Dr. Sipe and his team at Fertility Centers of Illinois Hinsdale were great to work with! My nurse Brittany and staff were so amazing and caring, Brittany answered any and all of my questions whenever i reached out! There were weeks where i saw them 3-4 times for blood work or ultrasounds and they always made me feel special and important up until i was released to my regular ob. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this journey so special! Im so glad we choose such a amazing team and i will definitely miss you all! I will make sure to send updates and pictures once our baby arrives in May!
The Hinsdale location has been great from top to bottom. The nurses, the ultrasound techs, and especially the phlebotomist Charise! She was always so wonderful and efficient and never had any issues with her taking my bloodwork as much as I needed to have it done.

Im eternally grateful for FCI. Dr. Uhler was my physician and she did an incredible job explaining all of our options before we made our decision on the best treatment for us. After years of thinking having a baby may not be a possibility for me, I had a positive pregnancy test after my first embryo transfer following IVF. I now have a healthy, happy toddler. Hes the best thing thats ever happened to me, and Im eternally grateful for FCI, IVF and Dr. Uhler.

Everyone at the Hinsdale office is just lovely to work with, starting with Lynn and Karen at the front who feel like old friends after a few visits. I worked with Aleks for my most recent transfer and she was a rockstar! Super personable and always willing to answer questions; I could feel her rooting for me throughout the process. I never had trouble making appointments that worked for me. They do make you pay all of the fees for the FET up front but I suspect thats the result of being burned too many times.
If I could give them a zero I would. Can’t believe this office is in business and am bamboozled wondering how they operate. Grossly incompetent. Had to walk the employees through the process and educate them on orders, obtaining results, and so on. Wasted six months and monetary costs to start the process. Immeasurable frustration :(
Dr Sipe and his team were awesome during our entire experience at FCI! We were very lucky to be under their care and would highly recommend.
Dont go here.1. they forgot to tell me when to start taking certain meds, i found out after the fact.2. Communication sucks. Staff doesnt talk to you or each other.3. Bedside manner is awful. My dr said maybe youre uncomfortable and its not pain I was internally bleeding after a retrieval, not to mention am covered in tattoos and clearly not rich enough to do that fully put under4.Im still having complications months after my retrieval and dr refuses to look into it any further.... i guess im on my own...?5. I didnt have any major problems with them until retrieval for IVF time. once they figured out it was a fail, and we werent instantly giving them more money, the quality and speed of my care went from an 8 to about a 2.6. Reaching out to contact them does nothing. They tell all the staff in the office so they harass you and I also never got even a “hey I’m sorry”
Highly recommend Dr. Sipe; he is direct, science-based and approachable. Aleks is an excellent nurse, she is very detailed and patient when explaining next steps.Linda and Erica at the front desk make scheduling very easy. The patient portal is straightforward and the FCI team responds quickly and thoroughly!

Starting with reception desk ending to my doctor, technician, nurses and laboratory everyone is like a family to me! I feel very relaxed and happy when I have to go there just because of them. They always find a way to cheer me up and they always have an answer. Very attentive and professional!!! I would never change my clinic. FCI got me pregnant on their FIRST try after FOUR failed attempts with another clinic (Chicago IVF). I made the switch to FCI after hearing that not one, but a few of my friends have had success with Dr. Sipe, and my only regret is that I did not come here sooner. As someone who has now had experience with two different IVF clinics, believe me when I say your search ends here. Fertility treatment is hard emotionally, physically, and financially, but FCI made this an unbelievably fast and smooth process for us from start to finish. With the other clinic, I felt I lost my time, my money, and the only ounce of hope I had that we would get pregnant. Dr. Sipe did for us what others couldn’t, and after years of infertility, it still seems surreal that we are finally pregnant (and so fast!). Working with Dr. Sipe, someone who is so kind, humble, intelligent, and passionate about his career, was the greatest privilege ever. After my “graduation” appointment from FCI, both Dr. Sipe and his staff requested that I stay in touch, send them bump pictures and eventually baby pictures, etc…. if that doesn’t show how personable they are and how much they care, then I don’t know what does!Between the two clinics, the IVF transfer itself was night and day. At the other clinic, my husband was NOT allowed to be by me during the transfer. At FCI, your significant other is allowed to be right by your side during your embryo transfer (as they should be!). Additionally, the transfer itself with Dr. Sipe was painless, besides the obvious discomfort from having a full bladder, where at the other clinic, the pain I had experienced during the transfer had me counting down the seconds until we were done.Additionally, my experience with every single staff member was a huge bonus because it was nothing short of outstanding. Karen and Lynn at the front desk were always so optimistic and kind, and when I initially had trouble with my patient chart working, they were both on top of getting it resolved. Marzena at River North was on top of helping me get my embryos transferred from my original clinic. When staff members at Chicago IVF did not want to help me after discovering I was leaving them, Marzena at FCI was on top of coordinating all of the phone calls and getting all the required signatures. The ultra sound technicians (wasn’t even there long enough to learn their names) were so gentle, kind, and interactive, I loved that they showed me what they were looking at each visit. The nurses, phlebotomists, and all of the staff all around were so kind, and coming from a different clinic that didn’t give me that, believe me when I say it makes your fertility treatment so much easier. Last but not least, communication via phone and portal has always been smooth and fast. Appointments have always been on time or they’ve even taken me earlier when I showed up too soon.I feel every clinic has small hiccups, and its usually the little stuff unfortunately people are so quick so leave negative reviews about, but with my experience at FCI, there were genuinely no hiccups, it was fast, easy, painless, almost “too good to be true”, and we are finally PREGNANT!

Where to even begin…We cannot say enough about our experience with FCI as a whole and specifically the Hinsdale clinic. My husband and I chose this clinic based on recommendation and we were not steered wrong. From flexibility, communication, compassion, attentiveness, friendliness, cleanliness and overall quality of care, the entire staff was incredible.We were able to use telehealth zooms with our doctor, which were incredibly convenient since we live 3 hours away, and an online portal for any and all questions that were answered promptly and with detail. Even making appointments was made easy with Lynn and Karen at the helm. And once in the office, the compassion from all of the girls was truly infectious.We were under the care of Dr. Sipe and his team and again, we cannot say how much we loved our experience. His bed side manner and overall demeanor were such a perfect fit for us.When one of wonderful nurses called, Brittany, and shared our great news- I corrected her and said “we all” made a baby because in fact Hinsdale became part of our family through this journey that truly is no easy fate.You cannot go wrong with choosing FCI.

I havent even started my treatment and they totally wasted my time. I was schedule to start my labs and baseline first week of jan everything was scheduled they called me on a Friday 12.29 when their about to close to let me know that they had to cancel the appointment and I had to wait for another cycle due to insurance I was so confused because granted they run insurance before labs which took them a month to let me know I was approve and now to you call to cancel because my insurance needs to reactivate! Like what? No customer service whats so ever! I dont recommend this place do yourself a favor a go somewhere else.

*My chemical pregnancy (which was my 2nd consecutive loss) was dismissed by Dr Sipe and didnt count as a pregnancy or a loss. Then I was diagnosed with anovulation due to low progesterone (which is a hormone needed to STAY pregnant, yet my consecutive losses were dismissed, so riddle me that).*I called this location to schedule one of my tests and they didnt have availability there that day, so they sent my to the Tinley Park location to get my tests done. After confirming my insurance had cleared the testing, I drove almost an hour to the Tinley park location. There, the receptionist yelled at my husband to leave since he technically wasnt a patient and wasnt having any testing done himself. Then after waiting 30 minutes in the waiting room, they call me in to tell me my insurance didnt clear for any testing yet and I needed to reschedule. Its as if these people forget that you, the patient, likely have a job you need to call off from or rearrange your hours.*There was no communication in regards to the doctors being out of office due to vacations/holidays. I called the week of Christmas thinking I could schedule my saline sonohysterogram (you know, before or after Christmas) and turns out the doctors were out of office for 2 weeks. Cool, no communication regarding that, so I guess Ill just wait another period cycle. Ive only been struggling almost 6 years with infertility, so whats another period cycle (sarcasm).*after I did my genetic testing, my husband and I were told to abstain from TTC until after my husband had his genetic testing done and we got our genetic counseling to go over our results. It took over a month for my husband to get his results back and then it was impossible to schedule our genetic counseling session because its through a 3rd party and therefore FCI washed their hands of it. Its been over a year and Ive NEVER to this day received a call back from all the messages I had left trying to schedule something.*I wanted my files transferred to my gynecologist so she could be updated on all of my testing and results and FCI said I didnt sign a release form when I did. So I signed another one and they claimed they never received it. Then when I emailed them a copy of my signed consent, it still wasnt good enough, so I gave up trying with this ridiculous process and just gave my gynecologist whatever paper copies of test results I had on hand.This place is very Clinical, which is wild considering all the emotions that an individual goes through when TTC. Youre spending top dollar to be viewed as just another number. Do yourself a favor and find an OBGYN or family doctor who also specializes in infertility.
As a health care professional myself I feel it’s important to advise others to avoid FCI at all costs ! A fertility journey is stressful enough and you deserve compassionate and comprehensive care .The level of incompetence, poor follow up , absent communication and lack of empathy that we experienced was astounding. Every step of the way was missed with incorrect labs taken, incomplete pharmacy orders made, calls/ emails ignored and lack of accountability when mistakes were made .Departments clearly do not talk to one another and there is little carryover between shifts. We experienced a lot of finger pointing and blaming between departments rather than a willingness to help or problem-solve.In attempts to improve communication with our care team we asked countless times “ who is in charge of my plan of care and how can we connect with them ? “ only to be told “ I don’t know” & “ your case is not prioritised compared to others” . Working in healthcare this was a huge red flag for me. How can you have faith in decisions being made or your plan of care if the office doesn’t know where that’s coming from ?!We spoke with the office manager upon leaving FCI to share our experience in hopes it could facilitate change to help others …. But given I’m still getting calls about future appointments I do not have and there were issues getting records sent to an alternate office I have little faith that change is in the works.
I would highly recommend Fertility Centers of IL-Hinsdale. Dr. Sipe and his staff of nurses have been responsive, positive and informative throughout my experience. Throughout our journey, it has been a constant rollercoaster where i felt i could reach out whenever and receive a response from the nurses in a reasonable turnaround time. If you are going through fertility struggles, i would highly recommend reaching out to FCI-Hinsdale! Thank you!
HIGHLY recommend FCI Hinsdale. All of my appts were timely and the staff was always helpful and knowledgeable. At some points during IVF, going to FCI can become your second home due to all the appts/monitoring and pretty stressful, it helps to have staff that are optimistic and caring surrounding you on those days.

I could not recommend this place more. I absolutely loved the entire staff! The front desk receptionists were always so kind, the ultrasound techs were amazing, the phlebotomists were always so nice, the nursing staff was stellar, and Dr. Sipe was so great! I cant tell you how many times I would send random questions into my patient portal, and they would be answered right away with answers that would always keep me calm. My husband and I went through 3 rounds of IUI, and one round of IVF and we are now expecting out first baby. Fertility treatments are so tough emotionally, mentally, and even physically. The staff really put my mind at ease and really supported us through the hardest time in our life so far. I graduated from them this week and although I am beyond happy that our baby is growing and healthy and we can see our OB, I am a little sad to leave the people who I have spent so much time with the last year and a half of my life with. They are amazing people, and I am SO happy I chose them to help us make our baby dreams come true :)
My boyfriend and I were at the Hinsdale location today for his first appointment at FCI. I accompanied him to introduce him to FCI and make him more comfortable with the process since I have been going for the past few years. The lady at the front immediately made a comment about neither of us having a mask on and rudely pointed to a pile of masks to put on. She then, with attitude and tone, asked if we had an appointment.. as if we are just frequenting fertility clinics for the heck of it.She made me go outside of the office and wait in the hallway because they stated there wasnt enough room in the waiting room (when not one person was in the waiting room) and told us there was a sign on the door that stated patients only.I am a patient and have been for quite a few years.Fertility is a very emotional. Couples are in the journey together and should have every opportunity to support one another every step of the way. To deny patients support from their loved ones is abusive.
Our dream come true, to be cherished forever, thanks to FCI and its amazing team!
UPDATE: Their response below is a cover to show as if they are willing hear us out and far from sympathetic because the person who kicked us out was in a high supervisor position whom disregarded our feelings and how upset we were. When we requested our files for our new facility they lied and wrote inside the files that we were hostile and aggressive towards their employees which almost prevented us from being accepted at IVF1. They purposely tried to sabotage our pregnancy.Please whatever you do don’t waste your time here. Dr Ohlander and all the front desk staff treated us as just a number and when I voiced my concern and frustration over the way I was being treated they kicked us out half way through. We went to IVF1 and couldn’t be happier!
Have done 3 rounds of IVF with Dr Sipe and all were successful. Now back to back frozen embryo transfers also successful. Professional, friendly staff. Insurance (BCBS IL) covered 90% of the cost. Easy in and out for appointments, which is so important with how often we have to go in ladies!
This was my first time coming into the office. I tried to have my husband come into the office with me and we both got scolded. Shortly after another man walked in without calling the office first and the front desk girl yelled at him too. He explained that he tried to call 2x and that it kept going to voicemail and she snapped “we were busy!” He apologized and said sorry I really did try and she responded with “did you leave a message!?” For what you will pay to have these services done you would think people could at least be kind. Not to mention we’re all here because we’re struggling to conceive so you would think people would have compassion. Nope. Attitudes left and right front the front desk people. 😒
Let me start off by saying this is the worst experience I ever had with any doctor. There is no communication with the doctor except when you first go there to talk about options. I had testing done and found out I had a fibroid that needed to be removed. I was told that Dr Sipe needed to do the surgery. I asked if my gyno could do it and I was told no he wanted to, but first he needed to complete his training at the hospital to use the operating room. Well 4 months went by and he still didn’t complete the training so I was getting frustrated and then called the nurse and said I am going to have my gyno do the surgery bc I don’t want to wait any longer. When she said that’s fine just let us know the results after surgery, I was furious bc I wasted 4 months when I was told Dr Sipe needed to do the surgery. Never heard back from the office after I sent my results from my surgery. I had to call to ask them if they received the results and when I could schedule my IUI. I did my first IUI and it failed. I scheduled my second IUI and the day before I get an email, not a call, from the nurse saying I need my labs updated and a pelvic exam from my gyno! What?! Who does that to a patient the day before!! Completely insensitive to any women dealing with fertility issues! You are just a number to them! Not a patient! All the nurse said was ok and sorry after I said I would never come back. Wasted over a year at this place! Stay away!!!!
Would highly recommend FCI to anyone looking for help with fertility. All of the staff are extremely helpful and kind. FCI offers many locations and is flexible on appointment times. Dr. Sipe and his team are very knowledgeable and great to work with.

After trying for over a year to get pregnant with another clinic we were referred to Dr. Sipe. He came up with a plan, listened to my concerns and even adjust his plan midway through a cycle because I was having a strange side effect. I was pregnant within a year and had a healthy baby. I would highly recommend Dr. Sipe to anyone having fertility issues.

This place is horrible terrible service! They don’t want to do their job. My insurance covered for a office visit but they coded wrong and now I have to pay $400 dollars for a phone call via zoom that didn’t give me any answers! They ALL have stuck up attitudes. They will not work with you. They make you feel uncomfortable. Save your time and money go somewhere else!
