This is my dads account Im Shirley McDonalds son Im here to say this Dr doesnt know what he is doing my mom had stage 3 cancer before she passed earlier this morning at 4:57am he pushed her treatments every time he preformed a surgery on her and made everything worse her wound wasnt healing she suffered for a few months. This Dr only cares about money he doesnt care about his patients I guess specially if they are colored.

My visit was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Salom proved very knowledgeable made me feel very comfortable pre and post surgery.

Dr. Salom and his staff were great. They helped me feel more at ease and took the time to help me understand different treatment options. I greatly appreciate the compassionate and thoughtful patient care that they provide.

Dr. Salom is the absoulte best doctor on this planet. However, the MIRAMAR office is horrible. There are times when you call the office and someone literally picks up the phone and hangs up. They need to hire more staff. Theyre obviously overwhelmed with calls. But picking up and hanging up on patients is ridiculous!

But having my own surgical consultation seven years later, solidified my faith in his education and experience. Dr. Salom was recommended to us and we went forward with him with several rounds of chemo and years later no positive results to speak of. His bedside manner is non existent, he’s way to cocky for the lack of ANY results, he’s rude and just overall too arrogant for not giving us a shred of positive results whatsoever. Fortunately we have time and health left to move on to another more capable oncologist. On a positive note his nursing staff especially Trini are amazing.

Dr Salom is an excellent physician, very warm and caring. I healed quickly after my surgery 2 years ago and I still see him for check up to make sure everything is as it should be. His nurse is a sweetheart, beautiful inside and out and treats the patients like family.

I visited with Dr Salom on 09/18/2020 after being referred to him for a procedure. He is by far the best doctor that I have ever had an encounter with in my entire life. He was kind, assuring, personable, professional and compassionate just to name a few. After talking to him, I had a good understanding of my issue and I walked away feeling more assured. I wish I could continue to see him as my primary doctor. He has awesome bedside manner and everyone from his receptionist to his attending nurse was 5 stars also! Everyone was very professional. The office was organized which is great during these times that you want to limit exposure. They had people waiting in their cars or outside which was great so there was no one in the lobby waiting. Im glad they took the necessary precautions. The nurses were friendly, the PA was patient and took her time with me and so did Dr. Salom. Great bedside manner. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Salom had performed my surgery on 10/20 so today was the 2 week post-op. He is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time and explains everything to you and makes you feel very comfortable. I was able to ask him the questions I needed answers for.

I was happy with Dr. Salom and the Surgeon that he works with both examining me. The office staff was very extremely nice. A little over a week after the surgery I am still extraordinarily weak. The office was able to get the biopsy back very quickly which was pretty amazing. If I could wish for one thing it would be knowing why I am still so weak more than a week after the surgery.

Unfortunately, I found myself with medical need of working with Dr. Saloms office. However, the patient care by the staff, the overall attention and availability of the Doctor to answer questions and walk me, as well as my husband, through the process, was extremely important. The office is operated with confidentiality, patient sensitivity and respect/care for my personal experience which included fear, concern and insecurity. I was also in need of surgery and having serious distrust of the medical process and system due to observations and experiences with my elderly parents, I was terrified to trust anyone. Dr. Salom was a wonderful surgeon. Family present prior to, during and in recovery all indicated Dr. Salom was extremely patient with their questions, gave great detail as to my well-being and was professional in every way. I genuinely felt I was in the hands of a doctor who cared for my physical and emotional well being. I would recommend the office, and Dr. Salom specifically, to anyone who is need of this particular practice. I regret no part of this.

Aside from the long (wait over 2hrs) to see the doctor, my visit was good. My issues/questions were addressed. The doctor & staff were accommodating & pleasant.

My experience is completely different to what these reviews show. I had a 2 pm appointment in the Miramar office, by the time I was seen and spoken to Dr. Salom, it was 5:15 pm. My review is about the doctors performance. Due to the nature of my case, I brought with me several reports including abnormal MRIs to my pelvis, CT Scans, Pap Smear, Ultrasounds, Colposcopy and biopsy reports. Dr. Salom DID NOT READ ANY REPORTS. As a result, he was unable to properly recommend a plan of treatment based on the evidence identified on the clinical tests. He did not know but he was my third opinion. It made me sad because I could tell he was not being truthful even when I respectfully challenge his recommendations. I cannot recommend him to anyone. He might have been great before but not the day I was there or with me.

Not only is Dr. Salom one of the best gyno oncologists with an amazing bedside manner and no sugar coating of what needs to be done, but his staff is top notch. I have witnessed Karen, the office administrator, handle stressful situations with the utmost professionalism and sensitivity. I am blessed that he is my doctor and that his team is what it is.

Dr. Salom has been heaven sent. His level of expertise, professionalism, and human nature are unmatchable. His office is busy, and may require a little patience given the wait times, however, to say the wait is very well worth it is an understatement. His medical assistant (Evelyn) and his nurse practitioner (Givette) are also incredible. Im now a self pay patient, and continue to pay out of pocket for his services; I would not have it any other way. Dr. Salom is amazing. I had a 10cm cyst on my left ovary and needed to have it removed. The Plan was to remove the ovary due to its size and he would try to save the ovary if he could. Dr. Salom took out the time to explain everything, reassured me and answered all of my questions without feeling rushing. He is very personable. I had my surgery on 12/23/20 and woke up to only the cyst being removed both ovaries remain. I have three incisions, two small ones next to my lower hip bones and a 2 inch transverse one that runs along the inside of my panty line. All three are healing very well. Just had my post op today and we discussed results and just how I was feeling overall. Im so happy I went with him.

I dont think Ive ever waited so long for anything in my life 2 hours who does that??? Wait time to minium??? Not one person cared or apologized . Theres no consideration for your time at all. I was seen for less than 10 minutes left with no clear answers wasted time and money. And no he did not read any reports was totally unprepared. Even if I waited 10 minutes the physician was not prepared and just was going by my words. Who makes the appointments are they double booking . Sounds like just greed

Was very nervous about being new to Florida as well as a new diagnosis of possible ‘ovarian cancer’—To begin with the staff immediately was warm and welcoming— easing much anxiety.Once getting called in back examining room—for my appointment, all staff and especially the Dr. comforted me and helped me to fell—calm —especially with ‘all of the current ‘ chaos in the world’ right now, this would be handled and taken care of as soon as possible— the Dr. gave me the comfort and credibility of a complete ‘plan of action’. With possible scenarios from great to ‘not so great’ with compassion and understanding.Beyond grateful.

Dr. Emery Salom, was extremely knowledgeable and professional he made me feel completely at ease and was able to answer all the questions and my concerns...I feel very confident that my life will be in such great hands for the type of surgery that I will be having. I would definitely recommend this very compassionate and caring doctor.

Dr Salom is very nice and he responded al questions. My mayor complaint is with the personnel to get the appointment. They are very rude and trying to filter the clients not to allow to have the appointment. Even when my appointment was confirm, on the same day the lady over the phone told me that they don’t have any records and it was my responsibility. She also told me that by the time on the appointment, if I don’t have the records ( by the way she didn’t know what to asked) the doctor is not going to see me. It was very uncomfortable to go over this situation several times until I told them that I can find another doctor that appreciate to have patients.

This office is filled with amazing people. I have been going there for years and they are always sweet and caring. Very informative and they make you feel like family, ALWAYS!!!!

Awesome staff from front office staff, nursing staff, who were very informative regarding the exam room procedure experience. Dr Salom exam table manners was exceptional 👏 along with explaining all in laymans term.

I was there for more than 5 hours, thats a , they were very busy. little bit too much. Dr Salom ordered an ovarian cancer monitor and said to go back in two months to do another Histogram. These was good so I dont have to go through a biopsy. At least I know whats going on right bow and he said that my pain is not from the ovarian cyst, there is another cause ,to investigate with my primary doctor.. And so far, I dont have to go to a hospital which scares me.

I had surgery with Dr Salom in 2019, I had a fibroid on top of my uterus, I had a fibroid intrauterine, and another small one which I dont remember where. The day of the surgery I was really scared, I almost left AMA after I spoke with him in the hospital. But, there was one of the medical staff who came talk to me, she calms me down a little bit. I had a big open surgery in my lower abdomen. Before the surgery, I was bleeding a lot to a point I was feeling light headed and my hemoglobin was dropping significantly. The day after the surgery I had to take blood transfusion which upset me a little. However, its been one year since the surgery my period is normal, Im not bleeding anymore. Before, I was bleeding for months without stopping. I was waiting for one year to write this review. I had a good outcome with the doctor, and the surgery. Remember, I saw a previous doctor in 2014 which told me that the fibroid was so big that he would cut me from up to down, but at the I was not bleeding. I waited another 5 years where the fibroid became larger. This doctor is good.
