Today, I had a new patient consultation appointment at Alabama Womens Wellness Center, and my experience was truly disheartening. I had trouble locating the office, so I called for directions. When the receptionist answered, she immediately asked to put me on hold without any pleasantries. After she returned, I explained that I had an appointment and provided my location hoping for guidance. Instead of assisting, she asked for my last name in an unpleasant tone, and after I gave it, she told me I didn’t have an appointment.Confused, I checked my emails and confirmed that I did indeed have an appointment. She then explained that I had been double-booked with another new patient, and since they were booked first, my appointment had been cancelled. This caught me off guard, as I had already filled out the required forms. She claimed they called on Friday to notify me of the cancellation, but I hadn’t noticed the call until she mentioned it. I told her I understood and asked when I could be rescheduled before my upcoming appointment in mid-October.This is when things got even more confusing. She told me I didn’t have an appointment in October, despite me having scheduled it alongside todays consultation. As I tried to explain this, she abruptly placed me on hold without any notice. When she returned she began talking, and after she finished talking, I asked if she had put me on hold to stop me from speaking, but she denied it, saying she didn’t know what happened.I had found the office by then and informed her I was entering the building. When I arrived, she saw me and immediately hung up the phone without acknowledging me, then began helping someone else. When it was my turn, she repeated the same information as earlier. I tried to clarify that I may have misunderstood her over the phone, but she responded with a dismissive Yes, in a tone that made me feel like I was the problem.At one point, I asked her how scheduling issues like this could be avoided in the future, hoping to understand how to prevent my appointments from being cancelled again. Her response was shockingly rude—she said, I cant stop people from answering the phone. When I tried to explain that I wasn’t suggesting that but simply wanted reassurance that my appointments wouldnt be cancelled, she cut me off and said, “That’s what we’re doing now,” in a tone that left me confused and feeling even more distrustful of their scheduling process.I chose Alabama Women’s Wellness Center because it is Black woman-owned and operated. As a Black woman, I often feel like I don’t receive the kind of care I deserve, and I was hopeful this center would be a safe space where I could expect equitable, compassionate care from people who understand my experiences. However, instead of finding a place of comfort, I felt like a nuisance throughout the entire process, as if my concerns didn’t matter.This experience has left me heartbroken. I wanted to trust a space run by women who look like me, but I felt dismissed and belittled by the receptionist. It makes me question the level of care I would receive going forward. Ultimately, I decided to cancel all my future appointments, as I no longer feel confident in the care or attention I would receive at Alabama Women’s Wellness Center. I had hoped for so much more, and instead, I left feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed.

I couldn’t have asked for a better first visit!The front desk assistant was very helpful, and the nurse was very nice! Dr. Robinson was fantastic! She heard my concerns with true interest and took her time explaining all my next steps. I know she’s only one person but I wish all doctors could be just as supportive and caring as Dr. Robinson.

Dr. Robinson and staff were amazing! I really enjoyed the interaction I had with her back office staff from the assistant who took me back and started the process leading up to the phlebotomist who took my blood. Both of those ladies were amazing and I absolutely love Dr. Robinson. This was my very first visit/experience kudos and hats off to her and her staff!

NP Andrea Pryor is amazing, very attentive, and always takes my concerns seriously. She not only just prescribes medication when necessary, but also explains how it works and what to expect. She also offers resources and lifestyle changes. The front desk ladies and assistants were very friendly and informative as well. I highly recommend to anyone.

Had my first appt with this facility today and everyone was very nice. I loved Andrea. She was gentle, kind and very sweet. Highly recommend this facility to other women.

I was coming in as a new patient. I made an appointment and somehow even after spelling my name out over the phone they still spelled my name wrong and this caused me to not be able to do my paperwork before my appointment. The medical receptionist stated they were going to call me but never did. I came to my appt today on time and few minutes early and was told I had to try to complete the paperwork on my phone before 3pm or they would have to reschedule. I don’t understand how my name was misspelled when I even spelled it out to the person over the phone. The medical receptionist didn’t seem to really care and recommended trying to get me to come back tomorrow. I already waited a week for the appointment so I decided to try someone else. I don’t think patient should be turned around due to your mistakes.

Traci was a great listener. great bedside manner. Made me feel very comfortable in talking about uncomfortable matters.

First time visiting. It was wonderful! The receptionist was so nice and helped me with the new patient forms. The staff was so nice. Ive had bad experiences with other OGYNs and everyone was very understanding and comforting.

Lovely staff and facility. They made me feel comfortable and happy during an otherwise stressful time. This was my first time at the downtown location and it was a nice experience.

Dr Robinson is awesome very knowledgeable and takes her time the staff is amazing as well so happy that I found a great place for all my womens needs.

This office took advantage of my 18 year old by changing her appointment, which was supposed to be a well woman exam, into something else in order to charge her money. They should have made her aware that they don’t do Pap smears on 18 year olds and the visit would result in charging her. Instead they blamed my daughter for the cost of the appointment. Despicable.

Saying I am impressed would be an understatement!I arrived not realizing that I had to check in through a link that was sent to me, the staff was patient and helped me through the check in process step by step.The nurse who checked me into my room was amazing to say the least, she was super nice, understanding, and had a great sense of humor!Andrea was very patient with me as I was scared to have an exam. She was quick honestly! She made it a breeze and made sure I was comfortable and knew there was nothing to fear!

From the moment he stepped in their office,I was very comfortable! The ladies were kind and amazing! Great energy and good vibes!

The front desk ladies are amazing. They went out of their way to squeeze me in last minute and kept me updated with filling out my forms when I was confused. I greatly appreciate everyone here being so kind and respectful.

I loved the amazing care and support I received while visiting AWWC. The staff were friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly I felt safe in their care! I know it’s colloquial to say, but I can’t wait to go back again!

The receptionist, nurse, and NP (Andrea Pryor) were all very friendly, professional, and did not rush me. The parking lot is very small and not easy to navigate but the office is clean and looks nice.

Everyone is so kind and helpful! I’m excited to continue my prenatal care here. The building itself is beautiful on the inside! Very clean and welcoming. My waiting time was almost non existent too! My toddler was screaming and crying nearly the whole time too, they were all very understanding and didn’t make me feel bad for him being inconsolable

AWWC is probably the best womens health office in the area. This review would be incredibly long if I told everything that they have done for me, but suffice it to say 1-they listen. 2-they care. 3- they will advocate for your needs but also your desires. I have been with them during miscarriage, pregnancy, suffering from hyperemesis Gravadarum (HG), post natal (including for mental health), annual exams, infections, questions, and more. They have always treated me well. Whats more, I feel comfortable referring them to my clients. Which, to me, is an even bigger deal.Thank you AWWC and staff for everything.

Women’s healthcare at its finest! From the moment I walked in the door to making my next appointment, I felt cared for by the amazing staff and provider!The decor was very inviting as well!

The staff at this location is great. I had a wonderful new patient experience. I did not realize I was supposed to fill out some forms beforehand however they were accommodating and helped work on those quickly and saw me the same day. They got me an ultrasound the very next day which was nice of them. The front desk staff is great! So are the other staff members. Would highly recommend.

I felt it the minute I walked in the door… friendly atmosphereJust had my first visit to this office as a new patient yesterday and it was AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL! Everyone was professional, friendly and kind. The place itself is very accommodating clean and beautiful. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful they helped me fill out all my personal information so I would not get rescheduled. The nurse whom we talked to first was kind and friendly. After, we met Ms. Katrina and Ms. Tammy. They made me very comfortable and I felt so much better. They are very friendly, but also knowledgeable and thorough. They listened to all my concerns and questions and addressed them individually. They are a true treasure. I will forever be grateful I met them.I love them all… they really care and it shows.❤️ Thank you so much!

Katrina and the Midwife Assistant at AWWC, Destiny, were so patient and kind during my clients birth. They never once rushed anything and created a calm environment. Katrina listened to the clients fears without judgement or trying to fix it, just listened and validated her emotions. Destiny explained and asked consent before doing cervical checks and told the client about all the different positions she could push in with an epidural, giving her choice and that we would support her and provide guidance if she wants. It was just so nice to be in a birth environment like this for me as a doula and to see how birth can unfold if we listen and observe in this way. What a wonderful thing to watch a mom be validated, empowered, and trusted. Thank you ♥️

My wife was relatively happy with her care at the clinic, until today. Staff were not aware that she had been referred for further tests, as it seems her patient record was not checked or updated accordingly, as no-one seemed to know the reason for the missed calls on her phone. Each time she tried to return the calls, she was told repeatedly that staff were unsure why she was called, and she should not worry about it. Today, she was phoned by the Cancer institute with no knowledge of what was going on, or why she was being called by them. This was very poorly handled and could easily have been avoided if communication amongst the medical team (inclusive of receptionists) was better.

I have never left a review of anything before, but Dr Robinson and Dr Williams have my utmost respect and admiration. Patients of AWWC are lucky to entrust our health to them and their staff.

Doctor Robinson was wonderful. She took the time to explain things to me so that I could understand. She’s also a very caring doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

This was my first prenatal as a new patient and first time visiting the office ever. I’m in love. It’s clean, CUTE, and the staff are all really nice and professional. I love that everything is paperless for the most part as well. I was actually given time to ask questions and things were explained to me with patience and kindness. Ms. Tammy is super sweet and I already adore her lol. Andrea Pryor was very kind and informative with the questions I asked and I felt very comfortable with her. I’m excited to meet the rest of the team! Really nice first impression. 🙂

The staff is great! We met Jill and Katrina & they were both informative & helpful. Jill was friendly and kind making me feel quite comfortable. Katrina also being informative and friendly along with letting me know shes there every step of the way. The office is amazing and brings such a wonderful atmosphere.

Dr. Robinson and staff are amazing!!! They really care about you in all aspects of your life. I appreciate the kindness and professionalism I received each time whether it’s in person or by phone. I strongly recommend their office to anyone. They also care about your mental health and other health issues as well. I use Dr Williams but Dr Robinson makes you feel welcome and comfortable as well!!! Love them both.

Everyone was super nice and did their job well! My husband and I were greeted by the two women at the counter who checked us in then a sweet young lady in the back that checked my bp. Dr. Callie Beevers was sweet also and answered all questions my husband and I had.

Great staff! Dr. Robison is very thorough and will take the time to break things down and explain step by step. My teenage daughter and I love her.

This was the first place I found when I first moved to Huntsville. Pryor is professional and Just all around amazing! I give credit because she helped with a lump I had found in my right breast. Referred me and ended up being breast cancer in the early stages! I highly recommend all the beautiful women that work there ☺️they make you feel comfortable and are very warming and welcoming!

I was referred to this office by my primary care. My husband and I have decided to expand our family. During my first visit, we were not greeted and the woman at the front desk was not friendly or inviting at all. We ended up having to reschedule our appointment because our paperwork was not completed. Additionally we were forced to see the nurse practitioner (this would have been okay had I not requested an appointment with the doctor). The second encounter was during scheduling. I was told that I would have to see one of the nurses and when I asked for an appointment for the doctor, I was told that the schedulers for the doctors were non existence at this time. From one professional to another, customer service is everything.

I have been to many doctors in the last 6 years of my life and have met many that had absolutely no bedside manner or empathy for their patients and I never got in depth answers as to what my issues were! I must say that everyone here is the complete opposite of that and I had answers by my second visit and am now on my way to being healthier again thanks to them! Every single person here including the staff are amazing! They genuinely care about you and are willing to go to whatever extents they need to to figure out any health problems you may be having! I have found my forever female care at Alabama Women’s Wellness Center! Thank you for caring and for helping me to get my life back on track physically! You guys are a blessing!

I have had the BEST experience with Dr. Williams and her team! Im always greeted with a smile and care. Dr. Williams takes the time to listen to me and ask if I have any questions every visit. Her explanations of my care are always thorough and concise. I am so glad that I picked this practice for my needs. They have made this journey more comfortable for me and my husband than we ever would have imagined. I would highly recommend them for your OB or GYN care.

Love this practice! I don’t think I want to have anymore babies but if I did, I would choose Dr. Robinson & Dr. Williams all over again!! Dr. Williams has a warm inviting spirit and I have never felt more cared for as a patient in my whole life, especially as a woman of color!

The Best!!! Everyone here is so friendly. Ive never felt like just a patient when I visit here. I love that everyone takes enough time to talk to me about any and everything I might be going through in life, and answers any questions or talks through any concerns I may have.The atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable. Ive only ever dealt with women in the exam room, which I do find more comforting, as others may also.Typically the wait time is excellent compared to most other doctors offices, yet Ive never felt rushed through my appointment.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Alabama Womens Wellness Center to anyone looking for new or better womens health care.

So far my experience hasnt been great. Desk wont answer the phone and the entrance of the building is nowhere to be seen

Just had my first visit at this office & it was wonderful! The staff are so polite & the office is adorable/clean. My exam went by painless & fast. I felt like I was actually listened to on my questions of birth control options & not rushed at all. Really thankful I found this place!

My first ever visit with a gynecologist and so glad to have experienced it with Alabama Womens Wellness Center. Everyone Ive met was approachable, environment was inviting, and the staff made sure I was comfortable since it was my first visit. I met with Dr. Robinson, she explained everything before performing each part of the exam. She also took her time and went through every concern I had, sharing in detail which was easy to understand. All in all, wonderful. There has only been a few doctors offices where Ive left smiling and this place is definitely one of them. So, thank you, to everyone at AWWC!

My experience with WCC was awesome! It was more than I expected and the staff were great! The midwife Katrina was very knowledgeable and helpful with my concerns. She and the team, were well respected and have great customer service skills. Although, the parking lot was a bit confined, it was still a wonderful experience and I will continue to stay a patient at Dr. Robinson office. Thanks, Dr.Robinson and team!

Ive been to a handful OBGYN providers in Huntsville for my care and pregnacies through the years. This facility is the BEST hands down! The Doctors and staff are so great and friendly and you will always feel welcomed and comfortable here! The Doctors actually listen,inform you and will provide the most excellent care for your specific needs!

I had a great experience with Nurse Pryor yesterday and other members of the staff! I felt welcomed and treated with respect. My visit went by quickly, all of my concerns were heard and questions were answered, and the staff were all very informative during every stage of my appointment. This is a lovely facility with amazing people operating it. I have never been so satisfied with a medical appointment until my visit with Alabama Womens Wellness Center. Will definitely be a return patient!

I got the AthenaHealth text five minutes before the actual appointment, which I completed, and the staff turned us down because we had not checked in. If they had offered to re-schedule right there and then with less of an attitude, we would have accepted. But they didnt say anything and rudely told us they would not see my wife. We came to this place by a recommendation, but if the front desk staff and management is a reflection of the doctor, then we are glad we are not coming back.

Office staff, nurses, and even lab technician is always courteous and timely. Dr. Andrea answers all my questions and always makes me feel comfortable. I thoroughly enjoy visiting this office!

I am a first time patient to this office. Initially, the wait was a bit off putting. I quickly realized that there a constant flow to patients in and patients out. I knew when I would be serviced next. Once I got into the examination room my assessment changed drastically. The staff was excellent! I especially enjoyed my conversation with Dr. Robinson and found myself surrounded by caring and thorough professionals. With God’s grace, I won’t visit often, but I count this visit as one of the best that I have experienced in my medical care. This is definitely my go-to place for GYN matters!

I love Alabama Women’s Wellness Center. I switched to this OBGYN after feeling like I was not listened to and wasn’t properly taken care of at my last one. I typically see Ms. Katrina, but I have met Dr. Robinson, Dr. Williams, and Mrs. Pryor. They have all been very attentive and caring, which has been a huge relief! Wait time typically isn’t that bad, and they always go in order of who comes in first. Most of the office workers & nurses are very sweet as well!If you are looking for a practice that cares and genuinely wants to help you in whatever ways they can, I highly suggest AWWC!

They are equally concerned and caring about and questions or concerns about your pregnancy and body as you are! Dr. Williams and her staff are wonderful. I had such an amazing experience laboring under her care. She has such a calming presence. She was very respectful of my birth plan wishes and was very patient with my lengthy induction. I will always recommend Dr. Williams to anyone who is in need of care.

I went through my whole pregnancy and birth with Alabama Womens wellness, the staff and doctors are all so friendly and welcoming. The OB came to the Huntsville hospital and delivered my baby, she listened to my requests and needs and allowed me to have the birth experience I wanted!The only thing I can say is there is ALWAYS and I mean every single time a long wait in the waiting room before appointments. Even arriving early to appointments or right on time, there has always been a 30 min-1 hour wait before going to the back. Overall great care!

The best doctors office Ive ever been to! The staff is amazing, theyre attentive, sweet and they make you feel comfortable being there. They are a fun bunch to be around. Im so glad I found this doctor/facility.

Everyone was super nice and helpful. One of my best Dr visits ever for sure.Honestly thou, hate the location. Wasnt it an abortion clinic in that same building at one point? (Im old) not something the staff can help thou.. they may not even know. Otherwise was a great experience.

My experience overall is upsetting. I don’t really understand how you can feel valued or cared about when you see 4 different people through out your entire pregnancy. Each doctor practically tells you something different or chooses not to address your concerns and impose their bias opinions on you. I had my baby just a week ago and my wound is still bleeding and partially open with half of my insides sticking out and I’m being told that’s normal for my second c-section by the receptionist, not the doctor as I called because I’m concerned. The doctor that did my c-section never came back to check on me or discharged me from the hospital. I had questions and concerns then and was still told it’s normal by the midwife who didn’t operate on me, like she can tell me what really happened during my surgery. Also just fyi, if you decide to have a scheduled birth, you may see the doctor who says their delivering your baby a month before the date, and then won’t see the doctor until you have to go deliver, but they want to see you every week before then. This is my worst experience in life at a doctors office and with a doctor. I’m just thankful to be alive and have a healthy baby boy. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a person who is concerned about the high maternal death rate that we are currently experiencing in this country.

I do not have insurance that covers this office anymore but they are amazing. It was my first pregnancy and they offered me everything and took care of everything. When I had my miscarriage they were so nice and made me feel so much better about the situation. I am so very sad I will not be able to be a part of their journey but I can not recommend any group of people to care for you more than them. The best doctor office I have ever encountered. The best OBGYN experience. The staff, nurses, and doctors are all so courteous and professional. The genuine care for their patients is evident. Theyre very attentive to your personal needs. I felt very safe in their care, especially during a time when women arent receiving the best health care at an alarming high rate. I highly recommend .

I called to schedule an appointment and was put on hold three different times. The whole phone call was 20 minutes. Apparently patients aren’t their number one priority. I could hear laughing and talking in the background. The girl who answered my call was unprofessional and needs more training. This is coming from someone in the same career field. Needless to say I scheduled my appointment elsewhere and it was quick and efficient.

Dr. Robinson, Dr. Williams, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Katrina are by far the best physicians I’ve ever encountered. I recently transferred from a doctors office that wanted me to have a procedure for my condition. Not that it was a horrible idea, however , during my care here I was offered other alternatives. I love how they take their time while giving their patients their GREAT care! The entire staff is amazing, from the front desk to the medical assistants and lab tech! By far the best OBGYN in North Alabama!!

First visit was today- the nurses were so nice, the midwife was very informative and listened to my concerns and questions. Im a surrogate so I had lots of other questions besides the regular. They took the time to ensure I was 100% taken care of. Im also a VBAC patient and they are VBAC friendly! 💕

This was our first visit, they welcomed us with open arms. We came for my daughter, they talked to her like she was an adult, and gave her the guidance she needed. My daughter felt very comfortable.

I had my first appointment here recently, and was very pleased with my visit. The staff is fun and friendly, and the doctor takes her time asking and answering questions for me. They have a really good flow of how the office works. They even let me add an inch to my height, so now I can proudly say Im 5 feet now. Great place to go.

These women are amazing! They truly care about you and your baby. I was hoping for a VBAC and switched to this practice at 30 weeks pregnant and they were so great. I got my VBAC at 40 weeks, 1 day and it was truly the best experience. Highly recommend them!! They are so supportive.

I have been coming to this OB since I found out I was pregnant in October 2018 and just had my baby which she delivered start of July. I love the office and the doctor did a wonderful job delivering my beautiful baby boy. Her staff is wonderful, the only thing I do not like is waiting when you have an appointment time but that does occur at many doctor offices which I do not think is right. I didnt have to wait long every appointment but still sucks when you do but overall I think this OB is worth the wait!

Listened and spoke with me more at my first visit here today then any of my obgyn appts combined at previous OB offices. Truly like to know any of your concerns and give you best medical advice possible, so informative and Caring !! No doubt amazing office and staff.. and super clean and cute inside as well.

Staff is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. First place I haven’t felt like “just a number” in a long time. In the past I have left Dr’s offices feeling defeated, but today I left full of hope and joy.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Robinsons since she first opened her office. She is one of the best doctors I have ever been to! She is knowledgeable and very caring. She also has a great staff of well-trained professionals. I am a woman past my child bearing age and have been helped so much by Dr. Robinson as I have gone thru menopause with all the issues and body changes that brings. I would recommend Dr. Robinson to a woman of any age or stage of life.

Dr. Robinson is wonderful! I love her gorgeous purple office! The walls are a shrine to beautiful babies delivered by Dr. Robinson. Everyone is so friendly in her office. Sometimes you do have to wait, but at least it feels like youre waiting at home! All of my wishes were honored. Any note, form, or test needing completed staff were very attentive to. I broke down once on Dr. Robinson while I was pregnant. She was so encouraging and uplifting. The way I feel about medicine, is that it takes guesswork, with common sense, and knowledge. Dr. Robinson has an ability to use all 3 of those, and a great bedside manner. The nurses at the hospital tell me that Dr. Robinson hardly ever does a cesarean delivery. The lowest rate at the hospital Im told. While very necessary in my case, I know it was only done because there wasnt another option. I have a happy, healthy, living baby boy because of this decision. Big praise to some of my favorite people in the office, Greg, Lonnie, and my friend with the M name (Im really bad with names. I had 9 months to learn theirs.) My M name lady, she has really pretty hair, and nails, youll be able to spot her. I enjoyed all the great people here! I do not enjoy the protesters, but theyre certainly a little crazy. Theyre protesting a clinic that doesnt do abortions at this location. Head coocoo with the white hair, and big sign is only scary because of her chicken squawk the first 2 times, or so. If you see people outside protesting, be careful, because you want to give idiots the right to live. Dont run over her. Remember, choose to let her continue her miserable life. Make your own decisions about your body, and be grateful were able! Also, read Dr. Robinsons accomplishments. Incredible lady!

I gave 1 star because you have to atleast give one. This place (madison st location) is a joke a honestly doesnt deserve any stars. The receptionists are all very rude, that is, until you are rude back to them, then they try to play nice. I end up switching insurance companies and informed the billing personnel of this several times and they decided to still bill my old insurance which left me with a balance. I went to a visit and my fundal height was measured by a staff member. I was abour 16 or 18 weeks pregnant and she measured my fundal height at about 30/32 weeks. I am a nurse so I definitely know how to measure fundal height correctly and had already been keeping up with mine. I told the staff that she was incorrect on measuring my fundal height and asked to see Ms. Dial or Dr. Robinson. Ms. Dial came to measure me correctly. Dr. Robinson is very rude, impatient, seems distracted, and definitely tries to over talk you but i wasnt letting that happen. This is my first pregnancy so I definitely needed answers and a doctor who actually cares. After giving this office several chances, I finally decided to transfer somewhere else. Basically everyone at this location is rude, unprofessional, and lacks knowledge of several practices except the lab tech and midwife.

First visit with the midwife was excellent. She listened to myconcerns and we worked a plan forward. I didnt feel rushed or not heard. Everyone in the office was attentive and professional

I have never seen a more compassionate and selfless physician. Her office is beautiful and her drive to make sure the patient understands their diagnosis and treatment plan of care is remarkable. I have been a patient of hers since she was working in Tuskegee, Al and followed her to Huntsville to continue my care with her. She truly cares about the needs of a woman and thats exactly what a woman need. We need more like her.

The staff is always kind and welcoming. Your issues are listened to without being dismissed and they find the best way to safely accommodate you and your health needs. Very kind and professional staff Id recommend them to anyone looking for a great team to help them.

I called the office to schedule an appointment. I had a baby back in 2015 she was great. I was just released from hospital yesterday 2021 and was told she released me due to to many missed appointments, as I recall back in 2015 I missed 1 appointment. I really need help and was told no. I know its her rules but I would think doctors are here to help,and it is life or death for me and I was cut off by receptionist before I could explain my circumstances. Do better doctor Robinson and staff

I hardly give 5 stars to anyone, but has to make an exception for this office. I have had so many negative experiences in Huntsville, but this office is too level AMAZING. Dr. Robbinso answers all my questions, never rushes me out of the room and offers tips to take home. Lula ( I apologize for not spelling correctly) is so sweet. I must have called a billion times but she was always nice and attentive. Great staff. They have even made great adjustmentd because of COVID 19 to keep all their patients safe. All I can say is if you are looking for a wonderful OB/GYN look no further.

I had the most amazing experience during my pregnancy here at Alabama Women’s Wellness Center. The crazy thing is that I ended up switching doctors about 10 days before my baby was born. Long story short my other doctor wanted me to have a C-section because my first child was a C-section. However, when I spoke with Dr. Williams she expressed to me that I was a good candidate for the BVAC in addition to the potential risks. Sure enough, 10 days after meeting Dr. Williams I gave birth to a healthy baby girl via BVAC. Dr. Williams made sure I was informed throughout every step of my labor/delivery . She made me feel a part of the process rather than just someone she fit into her busy schedule. Every woman should have a birthing experience like the one I had for my second daughter.

The staff here is amazing. I have a problem with nervousness and occasional pain, and these women never made me feel judged and comforted me when i needed it. Was only my first visit with them, but I will be a regular!

The office was welcoming. The staff were friendly and took their time with me. Katrina Dial, CNM took time to speak with me, hear my thoughts and needs, and in general I felt like I wasn’t just another patient.

Typical black business. Greeted with attitudes as soon as you walk in the door. My appointment was cancelled and they never called to let me know because they “texted me multiple times” which I have still not received. First time patient and all I got was attitude, a cancelled appointment, and wasted gas.

I was a first fomd patient at WCC and loved it. But then suffered a loss. An they wanted too wait all afternoon in pain then come in that afternoon for an ultrasound. Which was already too late. Called an canceled my ultrasound for 8.19.22 an i explained the situation no “i’m sorry” or no sympathy. Just a simple “ok have a good day bye” Office needs phone skills and show sympathy for people

I promise, since I was 14 I have struggled to find an OBGYN that I felt actually cared and listened. I have been terrified of going to medical professionals because of the lack of attention, care and seemingly knowledge. Dr. Willams, the receptionist staff and even the decor made me feel so safe and comfortable. I wasnt scared to give complete detail, I didnt have to downplay my pain. I didnt have to repeat my symptoms or hurt. I smiled the whole time. Unlike the local ER my pap smear was painless. They ran the same test I asked for from Crestwood and found the problem. (its great when you listen to your body and your doctor does as well) Ive literally cried tears of joy. Ive been extremely ill since June and after seeing Dr. Willams Ive felt better each day. Thank you so, so, so much!

The only bad thing is the parking. The lot is little and a one way. Everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. Answering all of my questions and giving me time to think with my pregnancy brain.i transferred doctors to this office and am glad that I did.

My first time here and it was AWESOME! Im super huge on how I feel in a place, and if my Spirit cant connect or doesnt feel right in a place, I will just leave! With that being said the atmosphere was Great, but most of all, & this may seem a little weird to some, but you could feel LOVE at this place! Im currently pregnant with twins. My grandfather passed away on the day of my first appointment. I wrote through the portal to let the staff know why I missed my appointment. I was told to give the office a call when I could to reschedule. Well when I did that I was told that I was dropped as a patient. I should have known not to go BK to them after the uneasy feeling I got during my last pregnancy when my concerns were minimized.

It was my husband and I first visit and everyone was so nice. We look forward to this pregnancy journey with Alabama Women’s Wellness.

Im very disapointed of how fast they contact you back after what I think is a serious issue, it doesnt take two days to call someone back. I kept calling and they said Im still in the notes to be called back. This is day 2 & still havent been called. Anything can go wrong in this period of time. It just pisses me off I might as well go to the er to address my issue and concern. Other then that the staff is great, friendly, makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Robinson is a very nice lady and she listens and is very patient but Im still irritated because I havent got my phone call back! I understand the busy schedule but it wont take that long to call a concerned patient back!

She dont (DR.Pryor) have the decency to give you a call back or a letter to let you know of your test results she is so disrespectful towards me because I guess Im a Medicaid patient. Very disrespectful & I am getting a second opinion.. Its obvious now you dont know how to read ultrasound results.

I had my first appointment here a few months ago and I love Dr.Robinson!! She is great! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars today is because one of the nurses was very unprofessional on the phone. Other than that this is a great place!

Fantastic doctor. Schedules appointments properly so you dont have to wait forever. Actually spends time with her patients. Uses a web portal for appointments and such because this is 2017 not 1972. Office is pleasant and the office employees are all super nice.

My fiance complained that the doctor was constantly late. Never mentioned the service. If you want a happy wife might want to reconsider this and ask lots of questions. I felt like the Google Doctor after her visits.

I was mortified to see my newborn nephews picture on their page. We did not give permission and their response was unsatisfactory. We did not sign such a paper and talked to the Better Business Bureau about it. The exploitation of children should be your honest concern.

I love this place. Everyone is so sweet and this is my 2nd baby Im having with Dr Robinson. Its changed a bit since I had my first with her but it have changed for the better. Would so recommend this place to anyone.

First 2 times I came for an appointment and they made me wait an hour, 3rd time I tried to go I came about 8 minutes late and told me I had to reschedule. When I had bad side effects with the birth control prescribed I told the doctor and they seemed like they were waiting on me to tell them what to do. I was hoping to get some guidance and education on why I was having these bad side effects and what I should switch to but they were no help. They just prescribed me another type and nothing changed. I still have these side effects and I don’t know why. I wish the doctor would have helped me out more.

The providers are fantastic, they listen to concerns, they truly do care, the staff is kind and does their absolute best to work around tight schedules. I’m grateful and can’t think of a better practice!

Last year, I was having issues for 5 months. After about 3 months, Dr. Robinson FINALLY decided that she should do a biopsy so that she didnt look like a bad doctor (her words) and an ultrasound. Those results didnt show anything so she talked me into have a ablation instead of a hysterectomy like I asked. During the ablation, she shoved a tool through my uterus causing a hole and subsequent fluid leakage into my abdomen. Not only did I wake up without an ablation, but also three incisions in my belly where she had to cut me to get the fluid out. I fired her after that and had another doc do my hysterectomy.

Dr. Robinson is amazing. I have never met a better OBGYN in my life and Ive had four healthy pregnancies under her care. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an incredible OBGYN.

Ill open with this; Ive always suffered from horrible periods (that have only gotten worse as I got older) Dr.Robinson said, Oh if you lose thirty pounds itll ease up. Five pounds lighter and my periods had actually gotten worse instead of better, to the point where I would be bedridden for a day or so every month and unable to work out like I usually do for a week or so. So I went somewhere else for my yearly exam this time, hoping for real help. (She was my first gyno visit, I wasnt sure then if this was just how these appointments are.) My new doctor examined me without causing additional pain like Dr.Robinson did, she was so rough during my examination and she acted like I was being oversensitive! She applied so much pressure on my ovaries during the exam that they felt bruised the next day. My new doctor put my fears of birth control pills at ease instead of treating me like I was being over-paranoid and put me on one that made it so I can live normally even during my period! (I can go to the gym during it now!)Ultimately she belittled my concerns, made me feel as though my suffering was my fault (even though I tried to tell her Ive been fit before, Ive previously been on a track team and swim team simultaneously, back then my periods caused black-out, light-headedness, plus some of my other problems) and then did nothing to resolve a problem that had plagued me for years. Id recommend going literally anywhere else now that I know that a gyno appointment doesnt have to be like that one was.
