This review is for RECEPTION only. The drs and nurses are wonderful and I love them so much. I have never had so many issues with receptionist in my entire life. When a patient calls trying to make an appointment, you shouldn’t be sighing on the phone having attitude because we’re asking questions about when we can be seen the soonest and which doctors or which PA can see us. We can’t see the schedule and we can’t see what you’re seeing so we have to ask questions. It’s so discouraging to call a medial place and constantly be treated like we are the problem whenever we’re just trying to make an appointment to fix our medical problems or just have a follow up. They are never smiling. Always upset. Sighing constantly. Cut you off when you speak. I swear every visit or call is daunting with them and I’m extremely kind and patient person . I use to work in reception and I understand…. I once called and they never picked up. I figured that they were busy so I just let it ring for about 10 minutes. Thinking somebody might pick up and put me on hold and then I’ll be talked to next… That’s definitely not what happened. My husband ended up calling from another phone and they picked up within 4 minutes and were ready to make an appointment with him and I was still calling trying to get a hold of somebody. It’s just makes me so sad I love the nurses and doctors and I don’t want to leave because of them but I have to deal with the negative unprofessional gate keepers. Please please please someone talk to them and train them how to be kind and listen.
First pregnancy appt felt super rushed. Only saw the doctor for 2-3 min. She didn’t offer any info that she said she did on the paperwork. Good thing I’ve done this before or this would be a nightmare. Took them 4 weeks to notify me I had a UTI! 4 weeks! Then I was helplessly calling the on-call nurse line for hourssss one night with no call back whatsoever. Moving offices is no reason to constantly drop the ball.
This place has been an absolute nightmare. This is my first pregnancy, I decided to come here because I love St Vincent’s and I was hoping to love St Vincent’s Obgyn …. Nope.I will tell you that some of there doctors are amazing. Example: Lindsay Mason, Lauren Johnson, Angela Goodman and Kelsey McKinney. Now for the bad experiences and bad midwife and ultrasound tech. I had an appointment August 15, for an anatomy scan and a prenatal visit… I get into the room with Michelle, she’s doing the ultrasound and sees that the baby is upside down and she’s trying to get photos or videos of the baby’s heart and she’s having a bit of difficulty. ( mind you the pressure she was doing on my belly was horrible! I honestly felt like she was trying to hurt me and my baby) she tells me to see if they can schedule me for a retry ultrasound ,20 mins pass by and I am walking over to get seen my Grace Evelyn Collupy. She comes in and gets her baby Doppler to check my baby’s heart ( which both times the baby’s heart was sounding absolutely beautiful) and she seems to be having trouble finding my baby’s heart ( keep in mind she’s not putting this Doppler in the right place and I say that because I have a Doppler at home) and I had to tell her that’s not where everyone finds the baby’s heart, it’s over here. Fast forward, she tells me she’s sending me to high risk due to limited views of the baby’s heart… I have sent a referral, they will be calling you.It was time to schedule my appointments , one for a retry ultrasound on September 4 and a prenatal visit on September 12.( I would like to mention that after that appointment I was stressed and I decided to get an appointment with different place on August 17 and they did say that my baby was perfect, thank god … worrying for no reason)August 22, I receive a TEXT through the Athena Portal from Alaina Doiron saying “ I am reaching out to you to let you know that since they have sent the referral into the high risk doctors we will cancel your ultrasound here. Insurance wont cover them at both places but they will take great care of you!”Seriously!!! Not even a call to make sure that’s what I wanted to do……I got very upset and decided to call the manager Jessica … she was no help…I let her know that I would like to keep my appointment for the retry ultrasound and she told me she would get back to me … never did so I called the office and told them I would like to cancel my appointment for September 12 and put an appointment where we can do everything together; ultrasound and doctors visit … the girl tells me the manager is gonna call you, shes in a meeting..I don’t wanna talk to her ….. I wanna set up my appointment ??!! I call my primary doctor to let them know what’s going on and they said they can switch me to a different obgyn. THANK GOD! So I decided to give her the details to where I wanna go and she sent the referral. Also, I have been calling them to get them to send over my medical records to my new obgyn, they gave me two numbers .. one is medical records if you were at the hospital and one will not answer. Oh so helpful. I got one employee to tell me what to do which was to come in person and sign a medical records release form which I did today, September 10th but funny story they didn’t put any notes for my August 15th appointment. Which my new obgyn needs!Hopefully this nightmare ends soon! I am so ready to get good care at my new obgyn. Please be careful with this place. They are so disorganized and don’t respect their customers decisions. They are really giving bad first impressions to new moms like me.If you do go here please just be aware of Grace. (Also would like to mention, she was in the room for less than 10 mins) These people send us to high risk for more money… that’s the sad truth.
As a nurse, Im ashamed of this team; they are horrible. The doctors are very good, but you have to have 40 discussions just to see one. My baby’s heartbeat cant be heard, and the appointment they gave me to find out if its alive or not is in two months. They are insolent, and they told me not to call again because they wont see me until my appointment.
Havent had an annual since my kids was born 12 years ago. Dr.Michelle McLanahan didnt make it awkward even though I felt awkward. She just had a normal conversation like a friend and just did her thing. HUGE relief for me! just felt completely comfortable in a situation that makes you feel vulnerable. Not fearful of this Ob for sure!
This place is excellent other than having to see “Dr. Gray” who is not a good doctor. My wife and I are glad to hear she is leaving and we will not have to see her again!
Pushed me into getting tests I did not need that ran up insurance dollars and my own personal dollars. Doctor coded a procedure incorrectly and my insurance denied it. Avoided me when I reached out to them via phone and portal no less than 30 times to get this resolved. Very disappointed. Cant recommend this place to friends or strangers.
This place was one of the most horrible experiences Ive ever had in my life. The staff treated me with rudeness and unprofessionally, and the doctor never showed up for my appointment. After waiting for over 2 hours, there was no show. A nurse rudely informed me that I had the option to leave if I wanted. They have poor bedside manners. When I complained, the nurse made disrespectful remarks and started an argument with me. My well-being or health was not something they cared about. Extremely disappointed in the level of care.
Dr Demetrios is thee best out here In jacksonville. If I could give 100 stars I would.
If I wasn’t 5 days shy of being 39 weeks I would be changing offices. To all Moms to be, especially first time moms to be, stay CLEAR of this place. I’ve had too many bad experiences to count. I just hope the hospital/ labor and delivery side will bring our baby into this world safely but I’m truthfully terrified. The nurse or whatever she is named Sabrina is extremely rude. They called me and put me on hold for 10 min then she rudely picks up saying she spoke to me already when the only reason I was on hold was because they called me, why? I don’t know. She was clueless as to what was going on and wouldn’t let me, the patient speak AT ALL. I simply needed to know what date they request for me to be induced because it needed to align with what my HIGH RISK doctor said. She started yelling at me, I start crying (I’m very pregnant, hormonal and scared), my husband gets on the phone and tries to ask the same question “what date was submitted?” She again was talking rudely over him and started repeating “I’m not going to be verbally abused.” If you can’t handle this situation maybe this isn’t the career for you. Verbal abuse is not trying to figure out what day was submitted for me to be induced. It was crazy. We didn’t curse or disrespect anyone. I let her talk and then asked if it was my turn to speak and instead of listening to my simple question, she kept repeating over what I was saying “you can talk to my manager. You can talk to my manager”. “You can talk to my manager I’m not gonna be verbally abused I’m not gonna be verbally abused I’m not gonna be verbally abused talk to my manger talk to my manager” like a small child. As she was repeating this over and over again we were trying to say yes we would love to talk to the manager. The manager (Kelly I think was her name) was actually very helpful and was capable of answering our very simply question. It’s really sad that this is the behavior that’s coming out of that office because a few of the nurses, doctors and midwives are actually pretty good. Huge red flag when the patient is not allowed to speak and they are treated like this. I will not be returning if I have another pregnancy.
I recommend you read the last two reviews before mine and DO NOT have prenatal care with this group. I’ve had 3 out of my 4 babies with BAPTIST each time having an extremely positive experience, whatever I needed I received. Unfortunately, with the influx of pregnancies and living walking distance from ST Vincents’ I ended up with this group. The hospital staff is amazing but everything went downhill from there. Firstly, they advise via phone you have a 15 mins grace period. Because I have to couple appts with my lunch to stay employed, I utilize those 10-15 mins knowing otherwise I would not eat…BOTH locations I’ve gone to cancelled me at :14 and :15 mins as if it’s not already inconvenient coming to an appointment just to discuss paperwork (that they didn’t even have). The front desk at the Belfort Rd. is a mess, it smells in this office, the bathroom is nasty, the office itself is old and dirty in general , the doctors seem overworked, the midwife I saw was upset that she didn’t have the correct paperwork when seeing me and wasn’t even sure what she was seeing me for. She was also DRY and very rude and rough. Her name is Grace, may be time to retire. Finally, the office manager “Paula” is simply unprofessional. She tried to tell me it’s my responsibility to get records that were suppose to be requested by her team a month prior. I signed the release in office which she couldn’t find. Also, as a non medical person she tried to explain that “nothing is wrong with me” a huge liability to the practice. You don’t have records because you didn’t request them even though I signed a consent. So then plainly “you don’t know what’s wrong with me”. Which is even more reason you do what’s needed to figure it out. She also took the time to call the Gate Pkwy office to complain about me as a patient but couldn’t be bothered to track down the records request or the records needed for my appointment.I take my health and my unborn child’s health incredibly serious. I’m high risk and not looking for a hand out so my expectations are extremely high. Not only that I am in HEALTHCARE.I know this is a Medicaid provider, so I expected a low level experience but even if you are uninsured your provider should be caring, understanding, willing to work with their patients and knowledge. You’re running around in circles because you’re understaffed and obviously the entire team could use more training. I visited another location and their staff was frank she said if you work it may not be a good fit, the providers do not work with you or your timing. That was evident because my provider APRN Adams had a meeting 14 mins after my appt. So had I made it I had 14 mins to discuss my 225 pages of transferred medical records. In general if I weren’t high risk I’d go to a birth center.. I’m in shock I was recommended to come here by a physician I had to unfortunately follow up and state she should not be recommended anyone unless it’s their only choice!
Tamara Thompson …. Is absolutely amazing!!!! She was a great asset to myself and my daughter. I was super frustrated with getting her medical records sent to this new office because we recently moved to Jacksonville she went over and beyond to make sure the process was smooth. I feel very confident that I picked the right obgyn for my daughter! You can tell Tamara takes pride in her job and loves what she does !!!! Thank you again keep being amazing…..
How does anyone get ahold of these people they don’t call you when u have had a referral in thee for almost 3 months and getting ahold of them is impossible horrible experience I’ve ever had
I will always see Dr. Gray for any OB/GYN related issues in the future. I felt so very at ease and important with her and her staff. My procedure wasnt life saving or anything like that but Dr. Gray was concerned with my own peace of mind. For that I am eternally grateful.
Dr. Gray provided me with excellent care! She was very attentive, kind, and professional. She took her time during my visits and she made sure that she answered any and all of the questions that I had, in person and by email. I 100% trust her with my medical care. She could hear/see the nervousness I was feeling and I left each appointment feeling heard and respected. I would recommend and have recommended her to everyone I know. She is a blessing.
I would give 0 stars if I could , this office is unprofessional at its finest im very displeased with the level of service my daughter received and when I voice how we felt we was told we could go else where in my opinion the doctor we saw (Ms.Grace )was rude unprofessional and was being sarcastic and way out of line and did not respect a patient decision on anything that we spoke on !! This is my daughter first child she made our experience the worst possible and we were left to find another doctor as if it wasn’t hard enough coming here !! I would avoid coming here because they dont correct their doctors on their behavior they condone it in my opinion, So when searching for a doctor make sure they are their to do a job making sure baby is healthy and not just treat a pregnancy as if it’s there’s and not yours but involve you in the process and be very transparent on anything that evolves your unborn child !!!
I wish I could leave no stars. This place is absolutely terrible. This is my first pregnancy and they have made booking my very first appointment HELL! At first the lady refused to book my appointment because my insurance had not kicked in yet but it would weeks before my appointment. I had to speak to a a manager to book my appointment. I call 5 days before my appointment to find out The manager decided to leave a note in my appointment that I was not to get an ultra sound! I am 13 weeks pregnant what kind of prenatal care is this place offering without an ultra sound? How are they supposed to know for sure how far along I am??? When is my due date ? All the things a mother gets to find out at their first appointment but not me. Doesn’t every women deserve to know how far along their pregnancy is and their due date ??? I don’t get to because the manager had a great idea to put in my notes no ultra sound and now they are booked all day. This establishment is a perfect example of what is wrong with healthcare in this country. I would like someone to contact me about the terrible service I have received.
Dr. Angela Goodman is so sweet and amazing. She truly cares about her patients and has such a spectacular personality. She eased all my concerns this pregnancy and answered all the questions I had. She made me feel so secure and confident throughout my pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy and I was so confused about many things but she explained everything so well and helped me understand many things about pregnancy. She is so kind and caring one of the sweetest doctors ever. Her name says it all she is definitely a Angel!
This office has been my GYN for several years. Dr. Demetrios is knowledgeable and continues to support through any expressed concerns.
The three times I asked about my insurance front desk was not 100 percent honest with what was going on. I was really bothered by how they handle it but I came in today asked again but this time was with Brittany! Brittany was able to help me and answered all my questions and explained everything in detail!!! Thank you so much! I love the fact that she was honest and was able to help solve my insurance questions. If there’s more communication there’s better understanding so thank you again Brittany!
First visit with Dr. and she was thorough and approachable. Suggested some alternative medicines and encouraged me to use the portal. Staff friendly and helpful. I recommend. Office and building not shiny and new, but I’m more about the provider than the ambiance. I’d go back.
First I had an issue reaching out to them to make an appointment but I gave it another try and it was WORTH IT! I am halfway through my pregnancy and I called to schedule for my very first obgyn appointment. Ultrasound and physician at the same day in less than a week. They squeezed me in since Im that far long, everyone was so nice and wait time is fast.
If I can give a zero I will the doctor who does circumcises messed up my son and he is 4 months and Kelsey is a joke I was supposed to get put on conceptions since my medical history was supposed to have them in by my 6 week when asked she claim she will order here it’s 3 almost 4 months later saw her in December nothing yet any moms stay clear of them now it’s one doctor (dr gray) she rocks but you don’t see her til the end of pregnancy office still trying to charge me and j had insurance whole office a joke
Does this place not believe in answering the phone? I’ve been calling multiple times for DAYS and not one time has anyone answered. I had my daughter here 4 years ago and I’m pregnant again but if I can’t even get in contact with anyone now to set an appointment I might as well just change my OB. This is crazy
Honestly not the least bit happy about my first visit. I had my son here back in 2015 and had zero issues. Fast forward pregnant at 15 wk 3 days and was ordered labs told to come back waste gas to get labs they forgot to provide when I left . I do not even live in the area for starters. They should have offered to fax them over for their negligence. Argumentative when I’m trying to explain what my insurance will and will not cover over what Dr Grace prescribed. Asked for prenatals because they are covered to reduce the cost of covering them myself which I’ve done for over 3 months ! When calling back speaking with the receptionist she was rude the representation they gave off makes me not want to return to this office so I’ve asked my Primary for an additional referral outside of St Vincent’s. Pregnancy is stressful enough I refuse to deal with anything extra and unwarranted.
You, Can’t Get Thru On The Phones! Period!IF You, Have An Appointment For 1:00 pmYou Better Be Prepared To Wait 3 Hours!!!And I Have Complaint To Higher Up… andI can the Stare Look, We’re Doing The Best We Can, Or We’re Working On It!Two Years Later😯 IM Outtt!
Amazing staff, wonderful doctors! I’ve seen Dr.Grace several times and she always takes time to answer any questions I have to make sure I am comfortable. I’m struggling with a high risk pregnancy and they have been reassuring, patient, and kind. The ultrasound team goes above and beyond to make sure you know what is going on. They always make sure to find a heartbeat and if they can’t they immediately take you to US at that same appointment. I am so grateful to be a patient with them!
I was very comfortable my doctor talked with me before doing the procedure! The staff was very nice! I enjoy staying with this team!
Nurse Sara Jones was wonderful. She took care of me every week for my Makena shots and was always so nice and caring. Grace Collupy was a sweetheart as well when I would see her and was so gentle when it came to exams and having to touch her patients. Some of the front desk staff don’t really seem to know what they’re doing more than half the time and at one point, they even forgot to check me in. They would set me up with appointments with the midwife/ob on top of the ones for my shots and not tell me. When that staff was there, the entire experience was extremely slow due to them not knowing what they’re doing. Other than that, the only issue I had was Dr. Mclanahan (I think that’s how you spell it) making extremely rude and unprofessional comments to me about being cautious during my high risk pregnancy.
Do not come here. Find another place literally anywhere. Go to Mayo.I scheduled a follow up for after my surgery and they billed my insurance wrong. After speaking with my insurance and the facility they still won’t change the code. I’ve never had a medical bill in my life because I know my insurance. Their wrongful coding and doing tests without my permission was an invasion my trust with them and my private parts that NEVER needed to be exposed. This place has gone downhill and I will NEVER be returning. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
A few hiccups for my first appointment and I cant lie I was rather upset (specially being pregnant) originally about it all. However the staff is so nice and completely beyond proactive to make it right and to set up a better experience for my next appointment! Im very appreciate for the help I received from Sarah :)
Absolutely Wonderful, Very Professional and Kind, the entire Staff everyone, My Doctor Meena Abbas Demetrios was Awsome, I just felt so at Ease and not afraid or terrified as to what I am presently goin through with Health, Thank You Thank You So much.
I have been coming to this facility for about a year now. I’ve seen all the providers I had my C-section with Dr. D but out of all the providers my favourite was Kelsey. Sadly, I am moving out of state but she was the best provider I’ve seen. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs to come to an OB/GYN!!
I saw Sarah Sowinski PA-C for a check-up. She was great. Personable and made me feel comfortable. Answered all my questions and didnt rush me. Will be seeing her again!
I immediately told my Doctor before pregnancy that I wanted a Vbac - never gave a reply as soon as I was pregnant- I was told no- there were never any test done to verify if I can in fact do one.I went and saw another Doctor as you have to see them all and told her I had anxiety and felt overwhelmed. Asked if I could get a letter to get time off- now I’m 18 weeks- she said she could not guarantee I would get paid- I never asked and don’t know why that would be her concern. She put in the letter that it wasn’t medically necessary and I was asking off myself.I asked for records to be sent to another Doctor office last week and then given a number for a records release office that only sends Hospital records. Needless to say, as soon as I can get gone- I am gone! The nurses are nice and my Doctor Maxine Gray is as well, I just need efficiency and i don’t feel I am getting that!
Outrageous first visit for my daughter. If I could give 0 stars I would. Your mission statement says :compassionate, personalized care...were here to listen and understand your needs. This couldnt be further from the truth. We are a family of physicians and my daughter made an appointment after experiencing acute reproductive issues requiring attention (a pop in her lower abdomen followed by 2 weeks of chronic bleeding and discomfort/pain). We felt possibly endometriosis or an IUD dislodgment/tear. She was worried, anxious and exhausted as the bleeding is literally running down her leg daily. Her first 5 mins in the office was handled by a nurse that was so miserable and dismissive that it stuns me she even has a job. If I had her name Id blast it on every media platform I could. She was rude, condescending and incompetent. She literally challenged every statement out of my daughters mouth with statements like why are you even here? REALLY!?! My daughter wanted an educated assessment not a combative fool. But, she waited patiently for the doc and simply hoped this woman was having a bad day. No doc came..just a midwife. If my daughter wanted another nurses opinion as opposed to an OB, she couldve just googled all this.At the end of 90 mins, all they did was feel for the IUD string and dismiss the symptoms, push her out the door with ZERO diagnoses while trying to utilize the system to bill insurance for redundant testing that was done 3 days prior in ER (bloodwork and ultrasound). Mind you, the ER made it very clear that an OB needed to do a detailed physical exam regarding IUD because the ultrasound wasnt a practical approach. How is this place still in business? Zero regard for compassionate care or any care for that matter..just a cookie cutter office looking to maximize billing. Now my daughter was sent home with no idea what is wrong, bleeding and in pain. But, these guys certainly got to bill the insurance for doing nothing except waste my daughters time and stress her out more. You guys are the worst practice Ive come across in 50yrs. Disgraceful application of medical ethics..you should be embarrassed.
The hours say they open until 4:30pm, but on Fridays they close at 12pm. they didnt warn me and Im here without being able to be answered
It was great and the process was quick I like this office very much
This office is honestly horrible. I came to my appointment at 1:40, my appointment was at 1:45 I didn’t get called back until 2:10, when I asked to see if there were any other times because I was on lunch they told me I had gave up my room and would have to WAIT to be worked back in even though I was standing RIGHT THERE. This office is HORRIBLE. Will be seen today for my issue but after this I’m good. The big girl at the front who answers the phones is so rude.
I’ve visited this office 5 total times for my second pregnancy and it’s been an awful experience every single time and I’ve also been rescheduled for my sonogram twice once the day of my appointment and it was to find out the gender of my baby. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Such a terrible experience to have for a Dr I was so highly recommended to . The front office is very clueless they don’t know what labs were ordered for me and seem to have trouble finding them in my profile from ordering physician . Not good . I was told to visit their gate parkway location due to this office having issues lately I will be going to get my lab results then I will be finding another provider altogether hope this helps someone prior to being established here . Awful experience versus how I was treated by beaches Baptist Dr Leandro Rodriguez was top notch stellar in every way I wish I would’ve looked at reviews prior to visiting myself at this practice. The practice manager Jennifer called me regarding my experience and it didn’t secure me as a patient there either it’s just unprofessional and highly disorganized for such a serious medical experience for my unborn baby’s care
I was referred by my primary care physician, I have had 2 visits here and both were very pleasant experiences. The office staff was amazing, The nurse practitioner, as well as the Dr.were very pleasant and comforting. I never waited long to get seen. Just a great atmosphere all around. I felt very comfortable.
Everyone was excellent but, the phone lines is whacky (Ascension. St. Vincent/ medical group). Dr. Gray is super...she puts in time with her patients to listen/ to understand why you are there, and she explains her feedback, for you to understand.her reasoning.Shes one in few, that shows the ❤️that Cares.
My experience with my 1st time visit at the doctor office was Great! I’m really big on wanting a physician that will listen and show care and concern. Dr. Sarah Sowinski did just that. I will definitely schedule again with her for my future visits.
IT was all stars at first.. Until they didnt put in the summary that i fell.. Today I I have to Thank The ladies that work for Doctor Ossi. Especially when I was falling. Misty I believe thats your name. Thank you for catching me from having the full impact of the floor. Im still to ashamed 😔. And to all the ladies Thank you for assisting me with getting up. And leaving. I really mis judged them. Im wondering why they didnt put that i fell in Dr. Ossi office. Everything pose to be documented. This makes me think that therere not truthful. And that scares me.
Was referred there by my primary care physician &I hate it. Some nurses are nice enough but overall the experience has been stressful. I asked about making a birth plan and was basically told not to make one because I would probably end up having a c-section. They have even lost my whole glucose test, and another blood work and then waited 6 weeks to do anything about it, just to tell me I have to do it again... at 32 weeks in a first time pregnancy. I will NEVER work with these people again. Actually considering switching hospitals this late in the game due to how uncomfortable they make me feel.
They are absolutely great at this facility. Very informative on the before during and after care of my surgery. I’m so glad I’m in amazing hands here.
Ive had both my boys through St. Vincents. Lynn Trotter is a wonderful midwife. This was my first delivery with a midwife and she made it wonderful for me. I would go there again but they dont tie tubes. The ultrasound lady always asked about my first the staff is caring and the nurses in the hospital were very nice to me and always made sure I had everything I needed both times.
If you are looking for organized, professional staff and care DO NOT CHOOSE St. Vincent! This by far is the worst service and care I have ever received. I will say I do love My assigned doctor Dr. Nwosa. The front office is always over scheduling I mean always be prepared to wait 2-3 hours for your appointment. I have had to leave more than once without being seen because of the long wait. I can recall one incident I was there 2 hours waiting in the back on this particular day I was scheduled to see the nurse practitioner because you have to meet all the doctors i got irritated and decided to leave after waiting so long i came out by check out the nurse practitioner and staff all are just hanging around gossiping and laughing like they dont have any patients who need to be seen. I have complained to office manager about my concerns yet nothing has changed. Due to the fact Im high risk and in my second trimester I am unable to find a doctor who will accept me. The staff is so rude and have no business in the medical field at all.
I had the best appointment. Dr. McKinney listened to everything I had to say. She is very efficient and respectful. I haven’t had the best luck with finding a good doctor until my appointment with her.
Sarah R. Sowinski, PA-C Is amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable and answers all your questions. I would highly recommend her services.
All of the staff have been very attentive, pleasant, and thorough. I am forever grateful for the kindness of my surgeon Dr. Demitris and especially his PA Sarah. Thank you for helping me!
Dr.Mathai was the worst ! Very arrogant , did not listen to what my complains were , and gave his own diagnosis without proper follow up! The ER visit as a whole was absolutely terrible ! I sat in the room for over 2 hours with an IV port in my arm for nothing to be given to me the whole visit ! Would not recommend! Worst experience ever
I have delivered and had my parental care at St. Vincent South Side for 4 of my children. The ob-gyn is great. The staff is so polite. There has been moments where the wait at my Ob-Gyn is more than an hour long but the staff is so apologetic and polite. Like how can you be upset with them. They are obviously busy with other patients and not standing around doing nothing. Every pregnancy is different and comes with different issues and complications. So Im not upset at all waiting a bit longer. The labor and delivery has some of the nice and caring nurses I have ever encountered. I have had nothing but amazing care and treatment with St. Vincent. I would highly recommend having prenatal care and a baby here. I feel like I am in great hands here.
Cant make an appointment because no one ever answers the phone?! It just rings and rings and rings. Unprofessional.Edit: OH! THATS WHY! They were about to close so instead of helping a pregnant person, they decided to let the phone ring and ring and ring until THEY LEFT! This is a TERRIBLE way to start out my experience!
I was here a couple months ago for a routine visit. It took about an hour to get ahold of someone in the office to make an appointment but I waited it out because someone recommended a dr here. When I went, a very unfriendly nurse practitioner (grace something) handled the whole thing. She was cold and careless. When the appointment was over she just walked out of the room. Didn’t say a word. This woman seemed to truly hate her job. And I never saw a doctor.
From the front office staff, medical assistants, the doctor, and surgery scheduler.... The process was smooth, easy, and everyone was so helpful, accommodating, and kind. Thank you!!!
I am so glad I found Dr. Gray. She listened to everything I said and went above and beyond to address every concern. Her bedside manner is 2nd to none. I wish there were more OBGYNs like her. She deserves all of the gold stars.
Dr Garbade, Kelly, and Bridgette were so kind, patient, informative and conversational from booking the appointment, through the procedure, and upon check out I am so thankful I had that team
I had a great experience at Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent’s OB/GYN with Angela Goodman. I would highly recommend Angela and this practise.
I like Monument location better. Southside was over booked and busy. My appointment was at 1:30pm and I didn’t see a doctor until 2:30pm. I will not be going back to Southside location anymore.
APRN CNM Angela Goodman is great and displays true concerns about your health as well as make sure all information provided is in the patient best interest. Angela is warm, easy to talk to and genuine.
This place is absolutely horrible none of them know what they are doing I’m currently 7 months pregnant and have been trying to set up an appointment for a month everyone tells me different things and not the right things i moved back to Florida from ohio i got my records transferred here because that’s what they told me to do in order to be seen they said they didn’t take my insurance later on so i put in a different insurance they accepted Medicaid then another person said i didn’t have the right plan and it limited today why not tell me this a month ago I’m stressing a lot and haven’t got a ultra sound or glucose test or nothing they wasted my time i don’t understand why they referred me here just for them to play games
I am currently in my third trimester. I have recently switched to UF health formally known as Shands from St. Vincent’s. I am so thankful that I did. I had pleasant exchanges in the beginning with Dr. Kim Aschi, she is very personable, knowledgeable, and nice. Two of the largest contributors to why I switched hospitals were 1. I am high risk so I am required to be seen at the gate parkway office and also downtown at regional obstetrics, which is more time and money that a pregnant woman should not have to worry about. 2. The midwife Lynn Della Trotter, was truly an unpleasant experience to say the least. Not only does she not have ANY beside manners, when I admitted myself into the hospital because I had higher than normal blood sugar (my pump failed), she treated me like a child and tried to force to stay in the hospital for another night without even consulting with me and told me that if I didn’t schedule another appointment with St. Vincent’s then she would be notifying my doctor. I’d rather have my husband deliver my baby before I had her anywhere near me in a delivery room. Also, when I requested my medical records from St. Vincent’s OBGYN they gave me a hard time and told me that there was not an office I could call to speak with someone about my medical records and that it would be $20 for them. FAKE NEWS! The medical records office does have a phone number and you can pick them up in person they are.10 cents per page. If you are high risk I suggest going to UF Health. Your ultrasounds, NST’s, blood work, and doctor consultations are all under one roof. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I waited 6 weeks for an appointment.. and still havent received one. I call basically every week to see if things have changed.. still no appointment.. Im 20 weeks pregnant with my first child and havent seen a dr yet. So I made an appointment somewhere else and Im sooo grateful I did.
I couldnt even find the place for my appointment. No would answer the phone after 15 minutes.
My daughter is being seen at the Ob Gyn and it’s her first baby . They have treated her wonderfully and the baby and her are very important to her doctor there . It did take awhile to get in but they have been great . She is in her sixth month now and I feel every one there cares about her .
Worst OBGYN ever, they are always running late the wait time is always over 30 minutes. They don’t know how to work with you they don’t care about the patients at all. I would never ever again go here.
Arrive a couple minutes early to my appointment and saw that it was very busy was patient, once called into the room had to wait 50 mins and provider never went to see me and had to leave
Majority of the time TERRIBLE RECEPTIONIST .. and almost all of the times it’s an extremely long wait… but very supportive, focused, knowledgeable and helpful doctors. So it is still worth the wait and aggravation in my opinion.
Dr. Gray is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered!! She was compassionate, caring, attentive, and validated my concerns.
Since I started visiting this place, i had found nothing but satisfying experience with every person i meet.! Drs so far are best ones I’ve meet.
Nice clean facility with wonderful staff. The wait times were very doable and everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. Very happy to have found this place.
It was very busy but when I finally got to see the doctor she was great!
Dr.Gray gave Me excellent care💙 This was my very first surgery and she made me very Comfortable and she was very Professional 💙I will pass her information to All of my female friends.thank you Dr.A.Gray you are the Best 💙
My first visit I was completely satisfied. My doctor heard my concern and instead of making me feel crazy, she went the extra mile to make sure we covered all outlets !
I’m a first time mother and my birth experience was phenomenal my nurses and the doctor was amazing at delivering my baby
Horrible experience delivering . Rude nurses, I was overdosed, then my husband talked to like he didn’t know what he saw was happening, and to top it off they violated the HIPPA act but not only giving my information out but putting calls into my room after being told not to allow any calls or any info given . Ruined my experience bringing my baby boy into the world .
Dr. Gray was very professional and courteous during my visit! I would recommend this office
I called trying to be seen as a new patient and the lady I spoke to was extremely rude and denied me, she said were not going to take you because im a transferring patient and then she said yep and hung up on me.
Kelsey was so professional and personable. Very easy to talk to.
St Vincents objyn bad service the staff are unfriendlyThey dont care about the people they make you watt for ever to see the dactor our appointment it was 8.30 am we de not leave the office tall 12.30And we see the dactor she didnt care and doesnt want to lessen to our questions she have cold Hart she spent 10 minutes with US and she didnt explain to us my wife situation
I really wish someone would call me back or pick up the phone up. Ive been calling since yesterday and left 3 messages.
Literally the most disorganized doctors office I’ve ever dealt with. They couldn’t even get it together to schedule me for an ultrasound and first pregnancy visit.
Nice facility with caring and compassionate staff. Easy to get an appointment and they got me in and out.
I loved the way I was treated by my provider. Great service.
I have been calling all morning and the voicemail says that I am calling during office hours, then it tells me to call back during office hours. I went to the office to have my medical records sent to a different office over a week ago because I dont think I am receiving the level of care I should be at this office and I have heard nothing back and cannot even check the status of my medical records being sent now.
Clean professional, quick, & thorough, courteous!
Have been calling for 2 weeks and can’t get anyone on the phone at all. rings for literally 2 hours straight. nobody on the phone asking me to hold, nothing.
Wonderful staff I had my daughter here 6 years ago and if i ever have another kid.this is where I’ll be going.❤️
They call me exactly at the time of my appointment
Cannot reach the office. Front desk wont pick up the phone.
Wait time to see the doctor was a little long but doctor and staff were great.
Very nice front desk personnel, MA and Dr. Vergara were great!

I felt comfort in the medical professionalism/skills of the Southside Ascension Medical Group St. Vincents OB/GYN

The staff was so helpful and friendly. They addressed all my concerns.
I was very great full for the time and care given. Time in discussion of my care and concerns.
Didnt have to wait long to see the doctor. Answered all answers without rushing me.
Excellent service, the doctors are amazing, and they explain you everything about your pregnancy!!!
Does no one answer the dang phone??? It keeps ringing and ringing and no one answers and I keep hanging up and redialing because Im just trying to make an appointment.
Minimal wait time. Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Usually pleasant staff and clean facility. Easy to schedule appointments and check in on the site.
Never answers phone and chat people are oblivious and a waste of time
