I went in last Sunday and had received a test to evaluate my eyes. Loved my intake nurse and the doctor that evaluated me! However, test results like these really matter in terms of days, especially with the progression that organs can have over a week. I was told I would receive test results within 3-5 days, in which I was okay with waiting. I called yesterday, the Friday following, for the first time in the morning, in which I was told that the results were in, and the doctors would have to call me in between patients as they were busy, and the receptionist did not have the authority to read them to me. I completely understood, but did not receive a call. I called back at 4pm, and was told Weve been busy, and we still have until 8pm to call you. As I was polite on the phone, this tone was a little bit off to me to say the least, especially since the test results could result in having to take antibiotics, which time matters, especially with pharmacies closing relatively early compared to 8pm. So I waited again, and called at 7:45pm, as I did not receive a call. I asked if I could get the test results before they close, and they said to me that they had 5 more patients to see, and other patients were going to have to wait to receive calls tomorrow morning too. At this point, this passes the 3-5 day threshold, despite them having my results for 24 hours. For matters that may concern a test, please go to another care facility, and avoid trying to be convinced over the phone that you are being impatient with your test results.Update: Received a call today, the Saturday following my test, at 1:40pm - Specialist on phone was kind and straight to the exam results! But again, if you have something that concerns a more urgent matter with testing, they may not have the capacity to review your results in a timely fashion!
I was here one time (6/2023) before my last visit (9/11/2024) and it’s 3 stars because of the first person who took me back for vitals before I saw the wonderful NP, and the nurse who gave me the steroid shot.I was reading my kid a bedtime story when my lip swelled up, due to an allergic reaction and I freaked out because I don’t have allergies. It definitely wasnt something to go to the ER, and NextCare still accepts people 15 mins before they close. I immediately made an appointment online (super easy I highly recommend) and got there at 745 pm. Front desk receptionist was wonderful as well. Honestly would be 5 stars if it weren’t for Ashley. She was cold, rude, and I’d say hostile towards me and rolled her eyes. Social media is full of people who chose to be In the medical field for aesthetics and not actually to care or have empathy towards patients that need medical advice. Based on my 5 minute experience with her I wouldn’t return for fear of having her take me back. Not sure if she was a MA or a CNA… but no thanks.Too bad because everyone else was extremely lovely, professional, and had me out the door in 20 minutes. Thank you ladies! (Not Ashely though)
They weren’t busy but the wait was a little long , nothing I didn’t expect. Everyone was nice and friendly. Doctor got me in and out quick with no issues!
The girl at the desk was nice. I made an appointment and had all my paperwork filled out prior to even getting there. However, i still waited about an hour and a half and that was just to get taken back to an exam room. Which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having an appointment to me. So if you go just know that even if you have an appointment you will still be waiting a good amount of time to be seen. Care was mediocre.
Awful. Waited FOREVER and got their 30Minutes BEFORE my scheduled appointment. They didn’t get me in till and hour AFTER my appointment time. The “nurse” acted like she didn’t care at all about the reason I was there and made me feel like I was lying about what was going on. Didn’t recommend anything except taking an oral medication. No care instructions, NOTHING. I will never go back there! I used to love it, now it is AWFUL! Empty rooms and not taking care of anyone seems like their motto. Trust me, find another place to go as you will waste half your day as I watched so many walk-ins get up and leave. Wish I would have done the same thing.
Great service, friendly staff and the doctor was amazing. Ended up signing up for the monthly subscription to visit without paying a cap ton each time (since I have no insurance) and it was a great experience. Doctor was very professional and had a great bedside manner. Libya was very clean and neat. I scheduled an appointment for 7pm, was there by 6:45 and was called back no later than 7:05, great service! Will definitely be back next time I need to go to urgent care.
Service was great and registration was easy. However, it wouldve been very helpful to know that they couldnt help with my specific issue involving an ultrasound BEFORE I paid my $85 co-pay. In the future, consider asking for a copay after the visit. I didnt even see the Dr for longer than the introduction to my issue.
We got in fairly quickly (had an appointment but then waited 20 min) and the nurse was nice. The receptionist was not very friendly, especially when we had not understood when she told us something about our insurance. The doctor was ok, not overly welcoming or friendly either but was nice enough. We were confused about what she thought the illness might be, and had to ask the nurse if she was coming back to explain, which I felt awkward about. I wouldnt avoid it, but its too bad they dont make patients feel a bit more comfortable (especially when people arent feeling well in the first place).
The nurse was incredibly sweet tonight! She was so helpful and kind to me coming in right before close with a broken foot. The doctor was also kind and quick. I got right in with X-rays and sent with a boot and crutches until I could call for my Ortho consult Monday. I would go back. Quality care and quick and easy.
My visit there was quick and seamless. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm morning smile with clear direct instructions on how to check in. My wait time was minimal, and the process of getting checked by the nurse and nurse practitioner was quick, thorough, and comfortable. I highly recommend this office if anyone needs care urgently.
It wasn’t the worst experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care, but it wasn’t the best, either. The nurse seeing me barely asked me any questions about my condition, medications, or medical history. I think I saw her for a total of 5 minutes total while I waited for 30 minutes in the exam room (on top of the 1.5 hour wait to see them in the first place. And this was WITH an appointment). She also printed out the visit summary and accidentally handed me confidential medical records of another patient who was also being seen at the time. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was a bad day/maybe they were understaffed at the time.
Had to wait-a-bit, but thats understandable for a Saturday afternoon was only in with the Doctor about 3 minutes, but thanks to the fact that they got beyond the antibiotic. This did not progress. I did end up at the A. R on Monday, cause I was concerned about it and it ended up being too brown with loose bites. But I am clearing up and they said thanks to youre all giving me the antibiotic. It did not get as bad as it could have been so thank you all very much.
All in all, the service was excellent. Fast, professional and friendly from check in, nurse, doctor and treatment then on the way out. This was my first time to this office so I had no idea what to expect. Easy to find with a nice, clean and open space. Thank you and a big thanks to Dr. Tom (I think) for spot on treatment for my issue.
The ladies there were very kind. Service was pretty quick but there were no other patients there. I was originally misdiagnosed. I came in for a badly rolled ankle. They took x-rays of my ankle and one of the ladies looked at them and told me there wasn’t a break. She also told me that it was a grade 1 sprain and that I could start putting pressure on it to walk. She said that if the radiologist came back with anything different, she would call me. While I was leaving, she encouraged me to walk on my foot using my crutches and I did. After I got home, she called to tell me that the radiologist found a break in my talus bone, and she apologized for telling me inaccurate information. I’m frustrated that she encouraged me to walk on my foot without knowing for sure that it wasn’t broken. I should’ve just waited to know for sure. I realized after our phone call ended that I had more questions and it took 3 more phone calls to finally get some answers. Overall, I’m frustrated with originally being told the wrong diagnosis. But I understand that mistakes happen. I just hope that, in the future, they decide to wait for the radiologist’s input before giving any instruction on how to treat an injury. I could have worsened my fracture if I had continued to follow her instructions for a longer period of time. Thank goodness that didn’t happen.
It was an interesting visit. I got there and they said to use your phone to sign in. It seem they were little short staffed or something. I waited an hour but that is because I got there later in the day. But I knew there would be a waiting period. Then I was seen quick after the initial exam. The doctor was quick and precise. She listened to my issues. I got my meds to the place I wanted to. I like how when you sign in and fill out paperwork on your phone and they ask you which pharmacy you prefer. I thought that was a neat ideal. Also they show a live waiting list which was also pretty neat!
Literally go anywhere else. Waited 3 hours past the appointment I made online way in advance which was pointless. Then the NP made me do an X-ray which doesn’t show anything when it comes to a possible stress fracture. Then she sent me on my way after another hour wait in the room for her to come back. They only care about money, not their patients.Update: Turns out I have a serious stress fracture and my new doctor said that urgent care NP was very neglectful.
There was a hole in the sidewalk on main Street that got my toes so I went to Nextcare to assess the full damage and the nurse that helped us, Carolyn, was so kind and I really appreciated how helpful she was and how comfortable and made us. Really made the experience great! Thanks!
Freaking Awesome you have amazing Nurses. Wish I could remember the nurse that checked me in name but Kelley completed my physical. Listen people people I was so comfortable Huge Thank you those two. Making Nursing Proud❤️
Upon arrival I was told they were not taking walk-in and needed an appointment. So I got online and found an appointment for 30 minutes later. I told the front desk I had an appointment and she said to go have a seat. Two minutes later a “manager” came out and told me my appointment was “invalid” and cancelled it through their system as she was talking to me. This is terrible customer service and patient care.
Specifically scheduled urgent care appointment at this facility because they have x-ray equipment, as I have an injury to my foot. No one at this facility today to run the xray, so had to make an additional appointment at diagnostic imaging to get necessary xray. Care and personnel were excellent, just couldn’t get a diagnosis.
I had been sick for 2 weeks and while in KC I got to feeling terrible with coughing and congestion. My friend suggested I go to urgent care and I found this facility. I had no appointment but they worked me in. The ease of filling paperwork on my phone was great. They all listened to me and treated me great.
Going to this Urgent Care is so much easier than a hospital ER. It takes months to get into my Primary.I have always received excellent care at this Urgent Care (Tiffany Springs) & I like how you can call ahead to get appointment or use the app. Wait time is very minimal that way. Staff is always nice and facility alway spotless. Highly recommend
We were from out of town & were very fortunate that your clinic was open & able to attend to Mick quickly. The clinic was very clean. The nurse & doctor were very caring & thorough. The receptionist was very helpful. Thank you so very much! Mick & Sue Coe
We visited NextCare after my son dislocated his elbow on a layover in the Kansas City airport. The doctor we saw was kind and friendly and took good care of my son. They were sensitive to his pain while trying to get X-rays, and when we ultimately had to go to Children’s Hospital, they called ahead so the ER was waiting for us. We highly recommend NextCare.
The visit went really good. The nurse and the doctor and everybody. The staff was very professional and courteous and the doctor knew how to treat my problem. I just wish you would have gave me some medicine after I left but she didnt prescribe anything. Other than that it was a wonderful visit and I would use that that branch of NextCare again.
Ive been to this location before and received excellent care from the attending physicians...However, on our visit on today we encountered a very RUDE receptionist. She apparently didnt have any patience with patients dealing with health situations and I found that to be extremely unprofessional! She needs not be a receptionist in an Urgent Care facility or anywhere else if she doesnt want to be bothered with the people that need CARE!!
Rather slow to receive care. Then staff seemed very rushed. Was only handed a CD of my xray, never saw the images, nor was there any physical examine from the DR. Truly pointless visit.
Great customer service. In and out in about 1.5 hours. Front desk lady was so nice. Nurse was amazing. Doctor was cool.
They really just want their money. Before the visit, I called them to make sure that they could help with the issue or not, but they didn’t give a certain answer. Instead, they said we will need to see you to decide that. It turns out they don’t even have a podiatrist. All they can do is telling me to soak my feet and take ibuprofen. And they got $161. I really hope you guys don’t make people’s money like this in the future
Will never be going back here. Walked into the exam room and before the nurse even asked about my symptoms or took down my information. The doctor walked in. Looked in my ears and throat(only thing she did). And said I have a cold. I should have been tested for Covid at least given my symptoms. She told me come back if you have a temperature of 100.4 or above. They hadn’t taken my temperature. I had to ask them to then take my vitals. Many symptoms I’m having are concerning. Including vomiting blood and not being able to hold down fluids or food. But I was told to go home, rest and hydrate. How do I do that if I just immediately vomit everything back up. Ridiculous.
Deplorable bedside manner and lack of care from the FNP. Actually appalling. I understand if she examined me and made a recommendation on next steps but she actually did not even attempt to. I believe because I was in a car accident and my complaints were the standard back and neck pain in addition to foggy-ness she immediately discounted me. She actually said “well you drove here didn’t you” because she was eating outside when I pulled up. Regardless of if I drove there or not - regardless of her personal opinions on me based on my appearance or reason for going to the doctor - there is a standard of care that was absent, insulting and discriminatory. I was in an accident that deployed all airbags, totaled my car and left me in pain. I just wanted someone to examine me and either tell me I am fine or recommend my next steps. I’m in a state of shock by the behavior and would never recommend anyone trust this provider for care.
Great facility and amazing staff/doctors. Been here a couple times as a walkin for wounds and stitches and Ive always been taken care of well! Less busy/crazy than a hospital especially for minor injuries as well as cheaper.
Visited 1 April 2021(Not an April fools joke)I was notified that I had been in contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 so I needed to get tested. At approximately 8am I searched my location for the nearest testing center and results for Next Care Urgent Care came up. I navigated to their website which laid out instructions for scheduling an appointment. I then navigated to solvhealth[.]com which allowed me to select an appointment time, fill out all paperwork prior to visiting the clinic, uploading an ID for them to identify me upon arrival, and inputting insurance information. The site was user friendly and easy to use. Within minutes, I received an appointment confirmation and further instructions on what to do when I arrived. When I was selecting an appointment time, there were availability for every 30 minutes increments from 8am all the way to 7pm (if I remember correctly). I selected 5pm since I was attending a virtual training and would not have time before then. Near my appointment time, I received a text message reminder.I arrived at the clinic and on the door to the clinic there are signs posted with instructions about checking-in. It was a bit unclear since it did not specify if patients should check in and wait outside or check in and wait in the waiting area. Since I was there for a COVID-19 test I decided to wait outside because I could see two other patients sitting in the waiting area to be seen. I didnt want to potentially expose them. After I checked in using the provided QR code, I immediately received another text confirming that I had checked it. Once I noticed the two patients were gone, I went in and sat in the waiting area. I guess my insurance information was inputted wrong because the receptionist asked to see my card so she could make corrections. After a few minutes of wait, nurse Melissa who was very friendly, took me back to triage. It wasnt even a minute after she was done that the doctor came in, had a brief discussion with me, then administered the test. She informed me that it would be about 15 minutes so I sat waiting. This was probably one of thee longest waits ever! I was so worried especially since I had a slight fever. Luckily, the doctor came back and notified me that my results were negative. YASSS!!The clinic was easy to find. They are following all COVID-19 protocols: contact less check-ins, physical space between seats in the waiting area, masks required for all patients and employees, available hand sanitizer and hand washing by staff. It was a cold day and the temperature in the waiting area was comfortable. However, the exam room was extremely hot so the nurse had to keep the door propped open during triage.Overall, the facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and service was efficient.
After scheduling an appointment and getting my paperwork filled out ahead of time, it was only a short wait before I was taken back and the physicians were amazing! Very kind and got me taken care of quickly!
Went in was charged 325 dollars only got weighed doctor never touched me just recommend me to Saint Lukes I was seen only 5 minutes total by doctor. Felt I was ignored and not even checked out properly. At Saint Lukes I was charged 125 and was given very good care by staff that really cared about patience. Felt like I was brushed off and would really like a refund.
Ive never had problems with anyone here that’s why its a 3 star. i tried coming back a week after getting medication for a tick bite. my paperwork stated to come back if i didn’t see improvement or my symptoms got worse. well i was in so much pain at the site of the tick bite that i couldn’t sleep because of the pain and i couldn’t eat because i was nauseous from the pain. the doctor that saw me was so rude and told me she had no idea what was wrong with me. she acted like i was faking my pain. she told me there was nothing she could do for me. 3 days later and im still in excruciating pain at the site of the bite!
Same as CVS. Even though I got there an hour and a half before their close time, (and there were only two people in the waiting room), they have no more room for walk-ins today. They need to change their advertising to walk ins if we feel like it.
I with at an Urgent Care on the East Coast and you guys do it perfectly! Friendly staff and fast service. My time here and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Awesome!
I went there August 26th and was told I had scabies. However, I needed 5 persent cream to put on and they prescribed 1% which is not what was needed for scabies. I am solely mad at them.
Friendly people who seemed like they genuinely cared, quiet & clean environment, would go there again in a pinch vs the ER. Made my broken foot a little more bearable.
Great experience! Easy scheduling, check-in, plus the appt was thorough, quick and solved my medical issue.Thank you to the staff!
Had such a positive experience at this location! I made an appointment the night before which was a seamless process online. I’m glad I made an appointment because a huge rush came after me. I was seen within 15 minutes of me arriving. The customer service from the receptionist to the nurse and doctors was genuine and friendly. I left needing to pick up a prescription which was also seamless. The clinic even called the next day to check in. One of the best Urgent Care experience I’ve had.
The ladies I encountered in the office were very kind and approachable. You can tell they love their jobs and want to help people.
Third trip here. Waits can get long, even with an appointment, but thats everywhere nowadays. At least once they call, things move quickly. If my PCP is 1A, they are my 1B.
I was checked in, saw the very knowledgeable and friendly staff, got examined and gone before my appointment time. The Doctor knew what she was talking about.Great choice
Victoria at the front desk was great. The FNP Kelly, was very dismissive when I communicated my symptoms , asking me what I wanted. Very rushed and felt very neglected
Easy registration, wonderful staff very caring and understanding and willing to help with anything we needed ! Quick and thorough appointment! Beautiful facility! This is where I will be taking my family from now on since we are new to the area.
Everyone at this facility was super helpful and kind. The only reason it is not five stars is due to the wait experienced for the number of people that were there. However, now I know I can make an appt and/or get in line prior to arrival.
I went to the Liberty location right after work, the didnt have a physician , send me this location. I made the appointment online. The staff was very courteous, the NP was Super nice. My New Urgent Care place.
It was very easy to do an online appt. Friendly reception, nurse and Dr. Clean and comfortable, the wait was brief. I felt the Dr was thorough and recommended good sound advice.
Last night I had been fighting off an upper respiratory infection and sinusitis for approximately three weeks. The whole office staff… I need to say again every office staff at Ambassador location in Kansas City were upstanding and extremely outstanding in every way - very helpful and knowledgeable with information regarding my diagnosis, also totally respectful, very patient, supportive, welcomed and very compassionate from beginning of my appointment and the end of my appointment and also three weeks ago approximately my wife had a different ailment with no health insurance, her and I found everything to be the very same way of beginning to end but without an appointment on all the staff being amazing in every aspect to us and the other patients that were there waiting to be seen as well!! Kudos to this branch at Ambassador Drive!!!Definitely recommend this staff here for an Amazing Experience and well worth driving out of your way to be seen here!!!!
Waste of time. Doctor barely did anything and wouldn’t do the test I asked for when I first walked in like they told me they could. It’s the whole reason I went there. Never again. The nurse was nice but the doctor, useless.
Staff were professional, engaging, and very nice to our two little boys. Would recommend to anyone based in our first experience.
I woke up at whits end this morning in so much pain. I was able to easily book online, make a same day appointment and was checked in, seen, treated with the best care I’ve had so far, and checked out with a treatment plan that was safe for me and my baby that I’m breastfeeding within an hour. They really cared to take that into account and honor my commitment to my supply. Best experience and so thankful. Wonderful staff and providers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
It was fine. The staff as professional and easy to get along with. They do regular business with my company and this was a company related visit.
The nurses were really nice and the facility was very clean. I did not care much at all for the doctor I saw, L.M. She did not address my needs at all. I told the nurse when my pain and symptoms started, but Lisa completely disregarded that and told me that my pain started a date later than when I told the nurse, and it was probably because of an activity I had done another day that same week. When I corrected her and told her my pain started before then as I told the nurse, she replied well we are only able to test for these 2 things and both of yours were negative so if the pain gets worse go to the ER. And she tried to diagnose me with a virus that was going around even though I don’t have any symptoms of that virus. I corrected her on that too and she just gave me a whatever attitude. She wasn’t rude, but she definitely didn’t seem like she was interested in helping me at all. Like I was being pushed out the door. And as a black woman being seen by a white physician, I definitely want to feel like my care is just as important as everyone else’s. Definitely won’t be back to this urgent care.
The people here at Tiffany Springs NextCare are amazing. They are always professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Worst experience ever. Didn’t even know who anyone was because no one said hello. Nurse practitioner Kelley Steele has the worst bedside manner. She was rude and condescending to me(the patient) as well as my mom. She never gave my any instructions regarding care when I left and sent my prescriptions to 2 different pharmacies (one of which was closed so I couldn’t get my pain meds that evening). We asked for ice to put on my injury they said they didn’t have ice nor did they have any cold water. I waited forever to get any care even after all paperwork was filled out. No visible signage from the outside to show that the building had an urgent care inside. I would not send my worst enemy to this place. Run don’t walk away from this place.
I was there with my son..I know they close at 8pm..I got there at 7:28, as soon as I step in the cleaning lady was already rushing me where to sign in,yes I got it have been to this place before and I know I walk in30minutes before close but my son was sick...Seen by the Doctor a great doctor very nice and explain things clearly, the Doctor was still explaining to me the medication that my son should be taking,,here goes the nurse with our discharge paper,,I think think the nurse was rude and inappropriate for talking to me while the Doctor still explaining the prescription...Never seen A nurse gets in the room and trying to rush out a patient while the doctor still Im there..Rude!!!
From signing in till signing out, everyone was wonderful. They addressed my needs professionally and compassionately. I absolutely will be back and tell others about you!
Very happy we stopped, staff was great and got my son feeling better within a few hours.Extra happy with the speed and care.
Very nice to have a urgent care close that takes care of you when u really need it. I was in bad shape. Test proved I didnt have covid, strep, or Flu. It had to be something. Thanks for the care!
Had a Great visit, & everyone at the Front Desk, Nurse, & FNP, were wonderful, Professional, & Very nice…!!!:)… Thank You Soo much for Your kind service… !!! Blessings, Always… Patrick…🙏🏻⭐️🥇
Rude doctor, very dismissive in regards to explaining anything. Wanted to give drugs and not try and find the root of the problem. That was a waste of $50, 2 hours of driving (1hr there and 1hr back home, plus the gas to get there just to be spoken to in that way by someone who is suppose to be a doctor and help people. She just wanted to push drugs.
I was applying for a company that sent me to this facility for a dot exam. My one year dot card was good for another 9 months but the company said I had to take another physical. They sent a group of us over at once and this place rushed you through. I have had numerous dot physicals and they always did one thing at a time. The woman who gave me my whisper test was doing it at the same time she was training another employee to take blood pressure. I am right handed and the trainee was taking it with my right arm instead of the left arm. They were doing 2 things at once. I was focused on the trainee and the First Lady failed me on the whisper test. When I asked the doctor when I was going to get the hearing test later he said you already failed that. So I tried to explain to the trainee that I have been under a lot of stress and asked to sit in the waiting room for a while to then retake my blood pressure she responded that is up to your company. She did the bp retake 30 seconds later and within 15 minutes I was given paperwork saying I failed and that it invalidates my current dot card. So I saw my VA doctor today and was given a blood pressure test by a nurse not a employee trainee and not rushed through the process. Even the doctor did not listen to my lungs with his stethoscope as all prior dot test doctors have done. I definitely felt this place rushed people through like cattle and did not assist to help me pass the tests. Since 1990 I have never failed a dot physical until I came to this place. I wish I could talk to the owner so another person doesn’t experience the same treatment as I felt I was given . This is my blood pressure when given by a nurse not a employee trainee.
I have been coming here for 7 years now. They are always super sweet, helpful, understanding, accommodating. My most recent experience was with their workmans comp program. I injured myself at work and was given their information through my workmans comp. I called that day and they were able to get me an appointment within an hour and a half so my wait time wasnt near as long. They did x-rays in house and the whole appointment took less than an hour with x-ray results. They sent everything to my employer that was needed and rescheduled a follow-up appointment that same day for the following week I never had to show/bring my employer anything. And they are open until 8:00 p.m. so I never had to miss a day of work or take a half day for my follow-up appointment.
Check in was quick and efficient. All staff members were amazing…kind, compassionate, and conversational. My son had to get 5 stitches. The doctor was quick and efficient putting him right at ease. I highly recommend NextCare on Ambassador to everyone. The staff and care are top notch.
The staff were extremely nice and caring . The dr was really gentle and her approach was super friendly. Thank you for everything.
I thought front desk was great & MAs were great!! FNP, Kelley Steele - I was not thrilled about her care, horrible bed side manners, did not listen to our concerns! I felt like there was “disregards” to patient complaint of pain. not coming back here!!
The person taking all questions was so helpful. She was kind and knowledgeable. There was even a problem because calls were being diverted to Lawerence Kansas. She was so patient and understanding while talking to patients. Especially since they couldnt be seen that day. My doctor was professional and courteous. She helped me out and made me so much better. Highly recommend! The app to download was super efficient to use. It made the process so much faster.
The Tiffany Springs gets 5 stars for sure! The front desk(both ladies), MA(Nicki) and APRN (Kelly) we saw were very friendly and kind. Very efficient check in process, rooming, staff communication, and timely discharge. Easy to find location and the sidewalks/entrance were salted appropriately. The reception area was clean and stocked with masks, hand sanitizer and Kleenexes, as well as abundant seating for being busy. I would greatly recommend this location to everyone!Your Liberty location was closed due to not having a provider, which is completely understandable. Feedback on this location is that your MA/front desk/other associate working this morning let six to eight people stack up in the foyer with the door locked, and there wasn’t an update given until about 8:50am. After calling the number listed on the door, it rang to the Leavenworth clinic, and that associate gave me the number to the Liberty clinic (which is not posted anywhere). When the Liberty staff member came out at 8:50, she was very short: “OK, we don’t have a provider, and we don’t know when we’re going to have one. You can go to our sister clinic on Tiffany Parkway.” I asked if she had an address, which she gave me, and as soon as people turned around, she immediately locked the door back up and walked away. There was no greeting, no apology, no closing other than she had “instructed” and promptly locked us out. I completely understand that there is nothing that can be done without a provider, but if the result is being completely dismissive and rude, then perhaps a sign on the door would be sufficient. I can’t imagine this is the first time being rude with it rolling off that easy, either.
I contracted COVID and experienced symptoms including constipation, fever, headache, and fatigue. Initially, I was sent to CVS and Walgreens without receiving any treatment or examination. The following day, I found it necessary to go to the ER, where I spent the entire night receiving IV fluids, medication, a CT scan, and an X-ray. The ER provided me with a treatment plan for 10 days.
They were very busy the day we were there so had a long wait but all the staff were professional, helpful and courteous.
What a joke! Told me my son was fine with a 101 temp took him to ER has ear infection and upper respiratory infection DON’T GO! And took are money!
Very quick. Effective. Very much appreciated that they took extra time with my daughter to help her relax.
This place was absolutely amazing! I dont have insurance and the cost was reasonable. The women at the front desk were very helpful through all the steps I need to take with the paperwork. And the nurses and the doctor were absolutely wonderful people!! Everything about that visit was quick easy and I got exactly what I needed with a great experience!! Thanks!
No human interactions here scan this bar code sit and wait for hours. Even with an appointment youre going to wait half your day.
Had my paperwork done 20 min before my appointment for a physical, Brandi and Alisha made me wait 2 hours in an empty waiting room. Brandi had no idea how long a physical would take, she looked totally confused at a basic question. This place is atrocious pls dont waste your time here! NEVER COMING BACK.
This is the second time I have gone to this urgent care, they have been great both times. All the ladies there were really nice and helpful. I showed up on a Sunday Morning as a walk in and only had to wait maybe 30 minutes which was great in my opinion. Definitely recommend going here.
The experience was terrible other than the clean facilities. I waited over two hours and the person I met with not only berated for coming in but asked me what medicine I wanted instead of trying to help me treat my symptoms. She was also reluctant to test for anything because she said he didn’t know where to start. She had zero compassion. Also, when I went to pick my medicine up, I was informed they never bothered to call it in.Never again will I go here, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
Took my daughter to get treated for an ear infection. The lady that checked us in was kind and patient and got us checked in quickly. Dr. Kelly and a nurse preformed a lavage on her ear and she felt instant relief. Both were professional, kind, and efficient. Would definitely recommend!
I’ve had a respiratory virus for 11 days. I saw my regular dr. on day 5 and followed his instructions yet kept getting worse and feeling worse. When I tried to see him again, he and his colleagues had no openings. I was referred to NextCare. There I was treated quickly and carefully. I was given a breathing treatment in office and was given three prescriptions. I was very impressed with Kelly’s, the nurse practitioner I saw, “bedside manner” as well as her plan for getting me well. Thank you, Next Care!!
Excellent experience and care taken. I really appreciated the time she took and the extra advice she gave me.
Very courteous, prompt and helpful. Took her time with me and diagnosed problems quickly. Order Rx as promised so I could pick up on way home
While the staff was fine, the length of time it took was absurd. I was there for a total of 2 hours for get less than 10 minutes in front of a medical professional.
I had scraped the top layer of my forearm off. I had covered it with gauze that stuck to it. They soaked it and removed the dressing. They were very kind and efficient.
I went in for my son who has been ill, the first thing I was told when walking in is scan the QR code. No one offered assistance at all. Then I was called up to the desk a few times. After being there for an hour, the front desk person told me she wont know the charges until after hes seen and wanted me to pay $75 right then and then the rest immediately after hes seen, instead of doing it all after. Completely unnecessary to have to do 2 separate transactions. Another lady waited probably over an hour before she was told her insurance isnt contracting Ive never experienced anything like this in Healthcare. Seems like they did not want to be inconvenienced by their patients and was just worried about their money. I took my son and left as I didnt want to pay $200 for them to give him an unnecessary antibiotic just so they can get their money and get us out the door.
Made a same day appointment Was in and out in less than an hour. All of the staff were friendly and caring.
Terrible experience with the nurse practitioner or dr or whatever she was, she didn’t even introduce herself. She was rude, rushing and didn’t wanna listen at all. I’m sorry but I think you need to listen to my symptoms before trying to prescribe medication. Absolutely ridiculous, wish I knew her name to call her out by it. Go to a different location! They weren’t even busy!
The staff was very friendly and kind however, I did not appreciate the way the provider treated me at all. It’s sad that even with health insurance I paid over $150 just to be told “You have a cold, antibiotics aren’t going to do anything for you. Continue taking mucinex.” Didn’t even recommend anything or really show any care at all.
The medical assistant that helped me, her name was Alicia and she was very very sweet and she listened to everything I said. Said she also gave me a thorough examination within her scope and documented. The doctor on the other hand her name was Kelly and she did not listen to a single word. I said she asked me if I was on psych meds because she did not see what I was talking about even though the medical assistant physically pointed out several other things I was there for. I ended up voicing my own treatment plan because of what has worked before and asking for a certain antibiotic that works for me and the doctor told me she didnt see how it would work but she gave it to me anyways. In other words, I did her job for her. She called me a liar and then presumed I was on psychiatric medications. The only reason why this place got three stars is because of the kindness of the medical assistant.
Good place to go. It may take a little time. The new doctor is exceptional. Wish he was my primary physician. Very informative. Straight to the point. I appreciate his approach. The ladyl at the checkin desk was very helpful and pleasant as well. Thank you!
Not sure what the appointment was for they still took walk-in before me didn’t even get called back until 30 mins after my appointment.
My children needed to get a same day physical appointment, went all around town no one was available with a reasonable price. Got in and out.
Very professional, doctors office format. Was good to have a check in nurse and get to see an actual doctor.
I made an appointment the night before. Check in was an easy process. The wait to be seen was not too long. Due to the fact it is an urgent care facility we did wait a few minutes. Another patient took priority. The nurse and doctor was very patient and informative.
On two occasions, they have messed up my prescriptions. The first time they seemed really busy and I think the perception just never got sent and when I tried to call to ask about it, it was impossible to get someone on the phone and I had to go to a different urgent care to get helped. The second time, they prescribed me the wrong medication and when I called to correct it, they told me the doctor would call me back the next day and never did. That was just a week ago and I AGAIN am having to go to another doctor to get the medicine I need. I wouldn’t recommend this urgent care
I went on for back pain they told me if it gets worse come back I come back and the nurse had an attitude and acted like I was a crackhead when all I did was ask for my next steps and a referral and I never even brought up meds rude as hell literally told her I was supposed to come back and she had a whole attitude didnt even get my referral I have horrible back pain to the point its hard to work and now Im screwed
When my daughter lacerated her scalp at 5:30pm, I was dreading what I was certain would be a long night at UC or ER. NextCare had a 6pm appt available. I was able to easily book and complete paperwork from my phone, get my daughter in the car and drive the 12 minutes to the facility. Once there, Brandy was so kind and got us checked in, Sarah J. met us in the waiting room to do a cursory glance at her scalp without alerting her, Sarah and Ashley prepped her and chatted with her, helping her feel happy and remain calm, and then Kelly applied two staples to the scalp and sent us on our way. We were home in under an hour and each staff member who interacted with our daughter was so extremely kind. Thank you!
Took about an hour but there were 5 people ahead of me!!! Great service from the nurse and doctor!
Very nice! Professional and friendly! Who doesn’t loves nurses? Dr lady was cool too. Thanks!
I had a fantastic experience. I came in early in the week to ask some pre-visit questions, and the receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. We scheduled my appointment for a couple of days later, and again, the two different receptionists who received me were great. The check-in was easy, I was seen quickly, and Alicia (I hope I spelled that right) and my doctor were both very professional and sweet, and put my mind at ease. I got good news, but even if I hadn’t, it would have been a good experience on that end. I’ll definitely be coming again if I ever need help.
Urgent care is always a wait. However ethics location was no longer than a doctor’s office visit. The nurse on duty was amazing. Great bedside manner, easy conversation ,, empathetic and had me out quickly
The lady at the front desk was nice but that was where the good experience ended. There was one other gentleman in the waiting area the entire time we were there and we still waited over an hour to be called back. At that point the nurse grabbed us and started asking questions about symptoms and said okay if its a virus there isnt anything well be able to do. The doctor had the same demeanor of theyd rather be anywhere other than where they were. Why choose ghealthcare as a profession if you lack empathy? I dont get it. We did end up getting an antibiotic and my daughter is feeling better but we wont be back.
The staff was kind and courteous. They allowed me to wait in my vehicle because I didn’t feel good. It took awhile to see the dr once I was in the room, but they were very busy. Not their fault.
The staff was very friendly. The doctor was through and prescribed me the medication needed to knock out my illness.
The lobby at this location did not feel clean - the chairs/tables/carpets were all kind of grimy. We had scheduled an appointment online and even though only one other person was in the waiting room, it took quite a bit longer than our appointment time to be seen. The nurse was awesome, and the doctor was pretty good too. The receptionist charged me a copay when I didn’t actually have a copay, and it has been a *nightmare* trying to get refunded. I have called their number listed on Google five times, and their billing office twice, been on hold cumulatively almost two hours and no one has ever answered the phone. I finally got someone to respond to an email today. Because of the headache it’s caused me while trying to get refunded, I would not recommend doing business here if you can help it.
Great Experience. The staff are always nice.
The customer service at this location was top notch. I had a pleasant and caring experience from intake to treatment. Kelley was knowledgeable and thorough. Danielle was friendly/extra patient with my fear of needles and administered my shot with such expertise, I had to ASK if it was over. I hope I have no reason to see them again soon but it sure is reassuring to know I will get great care if I ever do need it.
Both my husband and I have given this place multiple chances, and we’ve decided to never go back. They always make us feel like we’re wasting their time, and they don’t seem interested in diagnosing or treating illnesses/injuries. I’m not sure what it is exactly that they do here, but they don’t seem to care about helping patients.
The ladies listened to me and took time to understand my situation. Wish they were at my primary care office.
I was seen quickly after scheduling appointment on line. Front staff friendly and helpful. Sarah had exceptional patient care skills and made sure I was comfortable. Matt, the PA was very knowledgeable and assured I was no feeling discomfort during my procedure. So thankful to have these quality services close by.
That was the absolute worst visit. All the Dr did was listen to my lungs and go your tests are negative I have no idea what was going on and but Ill give you an antibiotic but dont take till monday or 5 days from now if you are still sick. Didnt look in my nose or ears or any were I said I had severe congestion. Basically she cared about trash the fl dolphins fan that was in the office the lookin me to see what is wrong.
People were nice but not knowing that they didn’t have an x-ray person until after we’ve already waited for an hour after the appointment, which was supposed to be at 7:30 after I worked a 12 hour shift just trying to get my daughter seen it was pretty frustrating because now today I get to run around and Figure out where to take her and get her prescriptions because by the time the appointment was done, the pharmacy had closed. A $20 co-pay isn’t a lot but it is when you basically have gained no traction on an injury your child sustained, and is in massive amounts of pain
Completely missed an important diagnosis. Bedside manner was lacking from NP. 79 year old patient was in severe pain and nothing was discussed for pain relief. I had to ask for a scan to be ran otherwise they werent going to do it. We were referred there from another urgent care for that sole reason. Mother was admitted to hospital 7 days later for a 9 day stay.
Horrible experience! For starters the receptionist supposedly checked us when we first got there however each time we spoke with her she checked us in. How many times does it take?! She then hounded me about my insurance even after I told her I had to call and get the numbers for her. After that we waited for HOURS ro be seen. We had a 330 appt and are finally in the back. Its 530. Before being called back I asked the receptionist how much longer to which she replied, you can go run whatever errand. I said no. Then her next suggestion was to reschedule. I told her that wasnt an option either. My son has asthma he needs to be seen now! She then proceeded to blankly state at the computer and ignore me. Very rude and unaccommodating.I dont know how they manage their patients but usually patients with appts are seen first and people with breathing issue take precedence. Very disappointed with this experience.
Got in quickly, with appointment. Everyone was very nice. Listened and explained everything. Answered all questions I had. My go-to for Urgent Care, even though theres one closer to me.
Kelly was great. She was kind and efficient. I was in and out with positive outcome.
Walked in and as seen within 30 minutes and received personalized and quality care.
Worst experience ever! Charged my credit card for balance owed. Then called me said I never paid. Emailed credit card statement to prove i paid. They said everything is good. Then month later get a bill saying I never paid. Cant get a hold of anyone to resolve matter. Waiting on hold for 30 minutes no answer. I pay my bills. Now they want me to pay again cause they cant figure out their error. Waited for hours. Then got into a room and the doctor forgot about us for another hour. Dont go to this location.
Worst doctors ever. Longest wait ever even if no one is in the waiting room. Filled out paperwork 3x they said they had to send me the Link to the same questions. For the 4th time. Finally got called and waited even longer for the 1 Dr that works here. Never visiting again
NextCare Urgent Care at off Ambassador Drive in KC, the Staff is wonderful! The “Sarah Team” are amazing, friendly and courteous. The team is helpful in every way and in addressing my issue. I’m looking forward to my return appointment to see y’all! The reason I gave 5 Stars is all about the customer service I received while I was there. Working in retail/customer service, their exceptional service means so much to me!! Thanks ladies!Mechelle H.
Both Carolyn and Kelley were fantastic! Got me in and out, super professional, and friendly. I had to get referred to this clinic after Libertys xray machine was down and I really appreciated everything they were able to do for me. Ill be coming to this location first in the future!
Horrible service!I had car accident as someone hit my car from behind so I scheduled appointment for check-up. I filled up all required information online and arrive the NextCare Clinic in North Kansas City 20 min early. Went to the front desk to check in and the lady acknowledged and asked for my insurance card. I provided andwas told to wait. After half an hour of wait, I checked back with the front desk and was told that there were still 3 people ahead of me and that will take another hour of wait. I told the front desk about my scheduled appointment and she said if theres someone came in as emergency, that person would go in without appointment. Not sure how the scheduling works here if it is base on first come first serve! Obviously not very effective based on my personal experience. Altogether it took almost an hour to get there, checked in, waited and drove home but I didnt get to see a a Doc/Physician/Nurse. I decided to leave the clinic because it was just a waste of my time. I wont recommend anyone to go there at all. They are totally unprofessional!
They got me in pretty quick and they were all very nice
Quick & easy. From their website, I scheduled a same day in office appointment and registered my insurance info. Payment is due at time of service. I was in and out within an hour. Staff and NP were friendly and thorough.
I only come here when location is more important than time. It’s closer to my house than other Urgent Care locations. And I have no idea why, but every time I come to this location it always takes forever and it’s never very busy. I’d guess it takes twice as long as any other location in Liberty, Shoal Creek, St Joseph, etc. I’ve waited for an hour and a half before with only three other patients waiting to be seen and several physicians seeing patients. Doesn’t make sense. The staff is always friendly and the doctors seem competent but they seem to drag their feet and it drives me crazy.
The staff were awesome! Brandi at the front desk was very sweet and answered all questions if needed. She went above to help out other people when they needed assistance. The back staff. OMG! So amazing and funny. Both the ladies that cared for me while I was doing my physical were so funny and so easy to talk to. Both are named Sarah, one is Sarah J, who took my initial questions and VS plus when she had to give me a shot, it was not felt. The Second Lady is Sarah D, who is NP. She did the rest of my physical and answered all questions. If I have to ever get another physical again I hope it is with all these ladies. Thank you for the laughs and brightening up my day… I wish all the best to these girls!!
Always quick and very professional. Our family’s go to urgent care!
The receptionist was very courteous and respectful, I was only in the waiting room for 15 minutes before being placed in a room. I saw the nurse for about 10 minutes while she got all of my information, 5 minutes later I was taken to see the Doctor. Very efficient and straight forward operation. Pleasant experience especially when going to see a Doctor.
Everyone was friendly. I will see you quickly. I will visit here again
Once I figured out that I couldnt just drive across state line and use my insurance and had to drive an additional 20 minutes back to Missouri, everything was good after that.
All the stuff was so amazing and friendly. They pay good attention to what you’re concerned about. I highly recommend this place.
Made an appointment online and they were on time to see me, last appointment of the day even...the ladies took their time and were patient and gracious...out of my way, but Id go back!
My husband came in with a sore throat and flu symptoms and they took forever to take us back and before they took us back the receptionist came up to us and very loudly asked do we have insurance? My husband is between jobs at the moment so currently has no insurance. After we told her no ,still in a loud attitude said well you have haveto pay the 190, expecting us to not be able to pay. The female doctor was absolutely pleasant, we loved her and felt like she really listened to us.
Whatever you do DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this urgent care on 10/13/19 my knee was 3x as big as it should be. The dr. NEVER touched my knee, no exam, just an xray, discharged me without anything for pain and said - and I quote - the physical therapists have said not to give patients braces because it does more harm. She said my knee was fine, not broken and to go home and take ibuprofen and put ice on it. For a WEEK Ive been walking around in pain until today. I went to the orthopedic urgent care in Leawood... guess what I have? TWO PATELLAS! Guess how many youre supposed to have?? One. ONE! 1!! Guess what NextCare Urgent Care missed? A broken patella! Guess who needs surgery now because Ive been walking on a broken leg and its now separated?! So thanks NextCare for your lousy doctor who could apparently care less about actually doing their job. I have two young boys and youve absolutely dropped the ball! and possibly irreparably damaged my knee!
$150.... spent less than 2 minutes with medical staff. A look up nose and throat....hahahaSinus infection..... maybeWILL NOT GO BACK.
The wait wasn’t bad at all and they’re very kind people.
Always have a good experience here. I have taken my son multiple times and the nurses and doctors have always been nice and helpful! Shout out to Nurse Sarah J and Doc Sarah D where both wonderful!
I wasnt able to get into my pain management provider for a corisone injection for two weeks. The pain in my back was severe. I had to find some relief. I made an appointment with the NextCare urgent care. From Pearl the front staff, Sarah J the back Staff, and Sarah D the provider. These ladies were amazing. Sarah J and Sarah D both listened to my concerns and gave great suggestions. I went in with severe back pain. Came out with an injection for the pain and some great advice to manage the pain. Thank you.Hopefully, in a couple of days I can be back to regularly scheduled activities.
I went there for a head injury and they treated me pretty well, just i had to wait for a while before I was seen but it wasn’t too bad!
This place is an absolute joke. My girlfriend had to come in this morning for what she stated to be what felt like liquid in her lungs, causing her chest pain and to throw up strange fluid. We came here with no appointment and no other patients in the office, just the woman at the desk and whatever nurse/doctor they had. Only two people at an urgent care? Never seen that before but okay, things are always different at different places. Girlfriend filled out paperwork and everything, waited 15 minutes before someone else walked in, filled out paperwork like we did (assuming they had no appointment either), 20 minutes later the nurse finally comes out and takes the person that came in after us to the back first. What??? Front desk lady calls my girlfriend up to the desk to ask about billing and she stated she wouldn’t be able to pay her co-pay today, but could still bill her so she could pay it later in the week when she gets paid. The woman looked at her like she was stupid or something, and said “I can do it for you just this once”. Excuse me? She’s not asking for a favor, simply telling you she can pay it later. Unprofessional response. After waiting 20 more minutes, my girlfriend didn’t feel like this place even cared about helping her and wanted to leave, so she went to tell the front desk woman to cancel her appointment and she said responded “after we bill you??” You haven’t even helped her and you want to go ahead and bill her? Girlfriend told her that she’s leaving and wants to appointment canceled and to not bill her since she hasn’t even seen anyone yet, and this woman looked at her and scoffed at her.My girlfriend was extremely polite and this woman was completely unprofessional. This whole place is unprofessional. The 16 y/o in the Taco Bell drive thru taking your order is more professional and kind than the people in the establishment.I will NEVER come here or suggest anyone else to come either. Get some people that actually want to help your patients instead of being rude to them and making them feel like they’re not worth your time. It’s disgusting.
I visited the NextCare Urgent Care on Ambassador Rd in Kansas City with the very familiar symptoms of a UTI. After waiting 1.5 hours past my appointment time, the Provider confirmed, from the urine sample dip, that I did have a UTI, prescribed medication & indicated that they would send the sample out for further culture as is normal procedure. Today I received a call that the culture was negative & I could stop the medication. When I asked for an explanation in the difference in test results they told me that it could be the Provider I saw looked at a culture result on file from a year ago!!! This is not only terrible treatment of patients but borders on malpractice if this is what actually happened. I would NOT recommend this urgent care facility.
Everyone was very kind and polite and caring. The doctor especially has a great bedside manner and relatability.
I will never go here again. They lied about why I came in, stating I came in for covid evaluation. I came in because I havent eaten ANYTHING in a week. My discharge papers say expected exposure. Absolutely not. I work from home and dont have a car so Im always home. Dr.SARAH DAVIS has horrible bedside manner. She basically RUNS out of the room without answering questions. Idk if urgent cares do bloodwork but if they do I definitely shouldve had my blood evaluated. I was told to hug a machine for a chest xray. As I accidentally coughed all over it I wondered who else has done the same. There was no protectant or barrier. Dr.SARAH DAVIS comes in after the xray and hands me discharge papers and says she expects pneumonia but she doesnt know and shell call me later...all while holding the door open for me. I said Dr. I understand that but I havent eaten in a week and it feels like Im starving to death. Her response, yea you are because you havent been eating. Me, can you please help me? Her, looks at discharge papers, yea Ill send nausea meds too I guess if thats what you want. I left in tears after I had to go back in to get a work excuse. 1 day off for pneumonia and they refused to take the covid exposer lie off of my record, stating that since I said yes to a covid test that has to be the reason for my visit. This place is a dirty joke.
Staff was very helpful.i hadnt made an appt and walked in. They offered to text me when close to being seen. Arrived back and waited less than 8 minutes to be called back. Vs taken hpi reviewed. Put I. Room then moved to eye room. Provider saw shortly thereafter. Longer wait for paperwork than wait to be seen.Thankful that clinic was close to hotel and that staff was supportive and professional.
Very efficient getting care with the online booking appointments. Staff is very nice and feel I got great care from Kelly Steele NP. I am a 36yr Nurse and would recommend when you are unable to see your Primary doctor!
I had to go to Urgent care for a work related injury! The staff was super nice and super helpful in diagnosis and treatment options. Im only giving 4 stars because of the wait time! I booked an appointment at 5:30 and didnt get in until well after 6:30. I understand its a walk in clinic so I wasnt overall mad just frustrated. By no means am I upset with the staff, you never know how their days looked and been. And the way I was treated by the staff outweighed the wait time for me! I definitely recommend going here as long as you have time to spare!! They were all kind and helpful to me and talked to me like professionals that actually cared.
Everyone was so kind and helpful. I’m so glad I went and got some answers about my pain.
Waited over an hour and 20 minutes and paid $75 to be told to use “Claritin and it’s just allergies”. My daughter has a productive gross cough for over a week. My family will not be back. This is my first google review ever, but wanted to save someone else their time and money.
I am traveling and picked up a upper respiratory infection somewhere. I arrived without an appointment about an hour before closing time. The front- desk staff was welcoming, professional and courteous. Although I waited a bit over an hour (which was past their closing time), I was seen and no amount rush or impatience was displayed by the staff. They listened to me, ran appropriate tests, prescribed medication and had me on my way in about 35 minutes. The visit was professionally conducted from start to finish. If I am in this area again and need urgent care services, I know who I am going to call.
Very quick check in process and easy to fill out paper work. Staff is very friendly and caring. Had to wait a little while but I was a walk in. 10/10 would recommend!
The appointment process expedited me being seen. I recommend using that and showing up early to get paperwork done. The triage and Dr were great. I really like the bedside manner of the Dr on Memorial Day. If she was a primary care Dr, I would use her specifically. My only problem, maybe not their fault, I went in on a holiday and my prescription was sent to my normal place and I did not know they were closed for the day.
Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Definitely a better experience than most urgent care spots - especially since they can do x-rays in house, which helped me learn my daughter’s foot was broken vs. sprained. CVS Minute Clinic, St. Luke’s Convenient Care, etc. don’t have z-ray capabilities.
I came into for a drug screening for a job. The place was busy and Sarah J. Was the only person working. She was professional and very friendly amidst the work load. She kept things running smoothly.
Very nice employees that are wonderful at their job. Great at explaining things that you were unaware of or just didnt understand. Made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end!!
Although they were extremely busy every staff member went above & beyond to help everyone. They gave an estimate as to how long it would be before another patients appointment so he could go wash his car. I had enough time to go have dinner. Once Mom had been called in for the exam things went very quickly. Im disabled & I kept misplacing my cane. Our nurse found it for me twice during the visit. I know that for as busy as they were Mom was well cared for. The staff never acted like they were overworked. They were helpful to everyone. I hope everyone can be patient with staff shortages in staff in almost every occupation.
If I could give negative stars I would.the staff was nice, polite and kind. I had made an appointment for noon and wasnt seen by the nurse until three hours later. I understand that its a holiday and they were short staffed because of that, however, there is no excuse for the lack of communication I experienced. once in the exam room which was not clean as i saw what looked like pee on the table/bed thing i was to wait for another hour before my patience ran out and i asked how much longer as its already been well over 4 hrs at this point, was told that there was only one provider. I left opting to not to wait for even longer. I would not reccommend seeking care through this company, and will not be returning. I will say that the staff was kind and that is important.
Ty and the nurses are amazing. They have made me comfortable with having a work injury and haven’t made me feel bad for a moment
First time today with trying VA Urgent care.Went to NextCare web site and quickly verified they are a participating caregiver. Also had appointment in a matter of seconds. After arriving I was in treatment room within minutes. My problem was identified an treated, back on the road within 45 minutes. Facility is very clean, well appointed. The staff from the front desk to the examination area were the most professional, caring people you could ask for. I was very impressed!
Staff was extremely friendly. Very helpful. Service was pretty fast considering what we had going on. The Sarah team rocked! Kept us in stitches which was a good thing.
Everyone was really efficient and friendly. My experience was excellent. But I do understand the problems that others have with the scheduling. It is first come, first served. I think they make appointments to keep the traffic under control. If you realize that it’s first come, first served, and that appointments are not like at your doctor’s office, you should have a very good experience here. If you need immediate help, go to the emergency room. For me, this was a five star experience.
Both the nurse and PAC who saw us were friendly and seemed truly caring for my sons ear infection symptoms. It was quick and he was able to make it to school on time.
Nextcare urgent care is great! I walked in and was seen within an hour which is fine being that others had made an appointment. The front desk was nice. FNP Sarah and MA Sarah were exceptional and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
Every time I myself or my children have been seen here at NextCare we have always received amazing care! Everyone here has always treated us respectfully and had phenomenal bedside manner. Kelley always treats us amazing and is always so attentive.
This was my first time going here! I was referred by my supervisor at work for a sports physical for my 6 yr old son! I got there was checked in immediately, paperwork was ready to be completed for me and I waited no longer then 10mins which I already had an appt time so I expected a waited as you would any appt in general! Nope we was called back in no time from the front desk, to the nurses to the Nurse Practitioner even the lady’s who did not help us everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We was in and out in no time! As a first time visit it was by far one of the best we have had! We would definitely recommend it to others and will definitely be back in the future! Thank you! Keep up the good work it’s definitely appreciated!
You would be better off calling a relative to come over and look over you than go here. Scheduled an appointment? You’ll be lucky to get in 30 min after your scheduled time. Need a prescription? They’ll send it to the wrong pharmacy. This place is a joke and you won’t feel any better after going there
I am giving 4 stars mainly due to a technicality, otherwise 5 stars. The loss of star lies in fault with the scheduling system as the representative scheduled my daughter for a rapid test and we come to find out at the time of the appointment, the facility did not have rapid tests for a few days.Nonetheless, the facility, within the business suite, is well maintained and clean, has professional and friendly staff, and check-in was easy. I would recommend this location.
I came for a couple of tests today, feeling absolutely terrible. Sarah J. & Frannie are amazing! They made me forget just how terrible I felt while they spoke to me. They both have fun, energetic personalities while still upholding the standard of practice for patients in their care. I will definitely recommend coming to NextCare Urgent Care if youre not feeling your best &/or need medical attention. Thank you ladies for your kindness and medical attention!
NextCate Urgent Care was supportive in every way. wanted to confirm I just had a cold and not Covid, beyond my home test showing negative. Each person was highly professional, respectful and attentive. I booked online and am grateful for every step of their process. Thank you! I highly recommend their services.
I was seen very quickly, and the front desk has an option to email insurance cards so that is absolutely amazing! Front desk was nice and helpful. The nurses were ok, not the happiest but willing to help. Theyre very quiet. Once I got diagnosis, I was not told what time frame would be for test results came back, and 90% of questions were not answered. Everything was done correctly and fast, but lack of knowledge of my condition is why I didnt rate 5 stars. The provider is super informative with what she did have to say.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! From the second I walked through the door, I knew I was in good hands. Megan at the front desk brought joy in to my otherwise horrible day. I had made an appointment and they brought me back right on time. They took X-rays and quickly figured out I had a broken elbow and some broken hand bones. Every single employee I came in contact with asked me if they could help in any way and made me feel extremely cared for. I am so beyond grateful for the care I received and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
It was unfortunate that I had to visit and Urgent Care while traveling through town. However, I must say if I had to seek out Medical Care for a minor issue, this would be my first choice without standing results. Very efficiently run with wonderful staff. A hundred times better than visiting the emergency room.
Arrived here with major ear pressure (bleeding ear too), sinus issues, and generally a bad situation. Nurse practitioner came in, barely spent 2 minutes with me, and basically said yeah, nothing we can do about it.Saw a different doctor that afternoon, and he was glad I came in. Hearing test, steroids, and antibiotics later, good to go.Beware, as this place seems to just want to cycle patients in and out, rather than understand issues or treat disease.
Great experience at NextCare on Ambassador Drive. I made an appt online and had very little wait. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful.
I truly appreciate how the providers listen to me. My daughter’s report of her symptoms didn’t necessarily match the diagnosis. Because they listened to me, she was quickly tested and diagnosed. I cannot count the number of providers who dismiss my knowledge of my child’s history and gut instincts. It is refreshing and has saved time and money and reduced my child’s distress. I am truly grateful.
Summer Masters and then ladies that work here are amazing! They had to deal with an extremely difficult patient and Summer took care of the patient with such patience. She was wonderful with my son and explained everything so he understood what was going on with him.
Staff was friendly and process was easy. However, the provider who saw me only gave me a look over quickly before prescribing me medicine and sending me on my way. Understandably, they have a lot of patients to see but I required more than a prescription for the allergic reaction that was making me swell up.
Friendly staff. Nice facility. Was able to make an appointment and then didn’t have to wait too long. Doctor was very knowledgeable and personable and helpful!
The place was very clean, and the people I spoke to were very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.
Made an appointment online and arrive 10 minutes early, as stated. However, I find out that despite having an appointment, I had 4 people ahead of me and there was only 1 provider. This meant there was at least 1 hour wait. I understand the dynamic nature of urgent cares, but what was the point of an appointment if you had to wait in line anyways?? I would have come in sooner and waited but I made an appointment because I thought that was the fastest route. I ended up leaving and finding another urgent care close by that was able to get me in and out before my “appointment” here was even ready. If you go here and have an appointment, know that it’s likely meaningless. You’re better off walking in directly.
I saw a nurse practitioner. She was very sensitive to my problem and prescribed just what I needed. All the staff there were very curious and friendly. They had me in and out in no time.It was a really good experience.
I hadnt been to Nextcare in 4 or 5 years and l found the check-in process very easy and didnt have to seat in the waiting area to be seen. I was able to return home until it was my turn. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend my friends and family go to this facility.
Staff is amazing.Would definitely recommend for your urgent care needs.
Old lady at next was very rude and passive aggressive despite the photos everywhere to be nice to people. I made an appointment for 3 and she said I wouldn’t be seen until 5 even though I made a reservation. When I wanted to cancel she proceeded to be nasty. UPDATE - please stop deleting my review, I would like people to know honest review..
We were seen fairly quickly at this location. My son and I had a rapid covid test by walk in. We arrived before opening time and there was already a pretty long line. Front desk staff were very short with everyone like it was a hassle that we came in. There wasn’t a lot of direction on how to get signed in/seen. Once we were in the visit was some what quick and we had our results in 30 minutes over the phone. (We were told the phone call could take until 8pm) walk in only for the rapid covid test and only 100 per day was the information I was given.
Made an appointment for 12pm, waited about 30 minutes just to be seen. They asked me if I’d like to take a Covid test to make sure I didn’t have Covid. I said yes. They told me it would be about 10-15 minutes and they moved me to another room. Waited another 45 minutes for the doctor to come in for her just to tell me I was congested. (which I already knew, hence why I was there in the first place.) I told her I was have bad pains in my face due to the inflammation and swelling from the congestion. And that I was still awaiting the results of my Covid test. Nothing was prescribed for the inflammation or pain. 10 minutes later she came back in and told me I was Covid positive. Ended up having to pay $90 for a rapid Covid test on top of the $190 for the office visit, wasted over an hour and a half as well. Could’ve just went to cvs and paid nothing. Waste of time and money.
Just like the previous review, I rarely leave bad marks on a business unless its extremely warranted...and this one is. We waited for an hour and a half after our scheduled appointment (we arrived 5 mins early with all the paperwork completed), until we saw the doctor. On top of that we had to deal with multiple absurdly rude and unprofessional nurses who very obviously could not have cared less about the amount of time they wasted, all while assuring us theyd get us out on time and just be a couple more mins just a couple more mins ...2 hours later we finally were on our way... And we will not be going back. Mind you, this was simply for a sport physical.
Overall a great experience . I had to go twice in one week due to my kids being ill and the entire staff was very professional, friendly and pleasant to be around. Both doctors we saw were very thorough and I truly felt like they had our best interest at heart and that they truly cared for us as patients. Lets be honest going to the urgency room twice in one week is not something that I prefer to do but the drs and the entire staff at the urgency room made it more pleasant. I would highly recommend this clinic to my friends and family. Im sure we will be back in the future. 😊
Very friendly. Fast service. Good diagnosis.
I went for the quick covid test. I had to go on their website or you can download their app to sign in as they are busy with the testing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Once it was close to my turn I was notified to get to the urgent care location for the test. Once inside I was called in order that showed on the waiting list. I was then taken back for the test. Afterwards you wait in another room a short period of time and they come in and give you a printed copy of your results. Happy to say I was negative. Staff was awesome even though they had a long and busy day as I arrived near thr end of the day.
I had a great experience recently when I went to the Urgency Room for treatment of my sinus infection and migraine. The front office staff were friendly, prompt and thorough getting me checked in and my information updated due to a recent management change. The nurse who called me back to the room and initially took care of me was fantastic and I have had him as a nurse a few times before in my other visits. I was pleased to see he was still there and as patient, caring and able to put you at ease as before. Ms. Steele was the nurse practitioner in duty and was wonderful. I noticed she had several bad reviews on Google, but I had a great experience with her. She was friendly, prompt, attentive, and listened to me when I described what was going on. She provided me a prescription for medication to alleviate the sinus infection and pressure which was an immediate help upon taking as I was in quite a bit of pain that day. I can honestly say that I was in and out of the Urgency Room much faster than I would have been with a visit to my doctors office and received excellent care!
Next care is Very clean. Very efficient. Incredibly nice. And you dont wait hours to be seen. Moved through patients extremely smooth. Excellent service and care. Thank you so much!
We had a dreadful experience at next care on Ambassador Drive. It was a nightmare. The carpets are filthy. The furniture is dusty. The Velcro on the blood pressure cuff wouldn’t hold. The bathrooms were dirty. Stains all over the carpeting and rugs. If they had an air conditioner it was set at 90° on a very warm summer day. The doctor was curt. We called and said that we needed an x-ray. We arrived at 5:30. We waited two hours only to be told that x-ray goes home at 3 o’clock. Since we’ve been sharing our experience with friends and family we find that others have had similar experiences with nextcare. Never go here. Dreadful place.
I injured my nose and have a visible nasal hematoma on my bridge. the doctor burped multiple times during our session, told me i had “bruised cartilage” … which isn’t even a legit diagnosis. sends me home with nothing and tells me to come back in 2 days for an X-Ray.i get a 2nd opinion because i knew something wasn’t right and i have a broken nose!!! not sure how any health care provider can miss a broken nose. waste of time and resources.
Service at the desk was friendly and got me started on paperwork with ease. The whole process was quite streamline. With paperwork done I simply watched the live waitlist as I browsed the internet. Once it was my turn I was called in, helped by an assistant then within minutes was ready and talking to the doctor. The doctor was friendly and was ready to go straight to work. She gave me her analysis of the situation and I was on my way. Would happily recommend to anyone.
Made an 11:30 appointment for a rapid covid test. Got all the paperwork finished ahead of time. Arrived a full 30 minutes early just to be safe. Got a text message at 12:30 that there were still two people ahead of me while I was still in the waiting room. Why bother taking appointments if youre not going to abide by them and waste everyones time?Do not go here unless youre completely out of options. No apologies, no acknowledgement of the wait beyond the automated text. An absolute joke. If this is how they care for people before treating them, how much do they care inside the room?
The staff made my visit short and productive. They cared and listened to all my issues. The front staff (Peyton) was very polite. The nurse that took my vitals was also very polite and fast! Dr. McFarlin clearly knows how to handle patients. Very pleased with my visit and I’ll be referring friends, family and my own clients to this Urgency Room. I work with clients of my own everyday and nice to be treated with care. Again, very pleased!
Went here after being sick for 3 weeks straight with bad chest congestion. I made the mistake of saying I dont know if its covid or what. to which the doctor said Yeah probably covid, sure. and just sent me home with no prescriptions or real advice or anything.I continued to be sick so I got an appointment the following week with another doctor who at least sent prescriptions to a pharmacy. I am now starting week 5 of being sick, and I really would have appreciated NextCare doing literally anything for me when I took the time to make an appointment and come in.
