I was in the office in January.Dr. Lee ordered a “newer” ($800) test that I did not consent to nor did I request. I was not made aware that there was a more affordable option until I called Lab Corp and asked why this test was ordered. They informed me that there was not any indication they could see for this test being ordered. The front desk read my medical record to me. I informed them that my chief complaint was not listed correctly. They replied “Dr. Lee would not have noted it if you did not say it.”This morning, At 8 o’clock AM, I called the office the first time. It is now 11:40 AM. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with this office, my insurance company, and Lab Corp. I am still waiting for an answer to my question of why this test was ordered without my permission. Whitney who works at the front desk called me “rude” when I asked for a call back time.Disappointing experience overall as I was just hoping to complete routine testing. I was not treated at this office. I was not helped at this office.
I’ve had good experiences with the office and physicians — I’ve been going since 2017 (before they renamed the practice). I was first with Dr. Moore who retired. Then Dr. Hurt and now with the new Dr. Moore.
I cannot say enough how much I love Plaza OBGYN. Dr. Moore, her nurse Katie, other nurses, and the front desk were amazing. They were so proactive during my pregnancy, I didn’t feel like I had to worry about a thing. They always worked hard to find appointment times that worked well with my schedule and were great to work with.Dr. Moore was wonderful during my delivery, anyone would truly be lucky to have her as their OB. She is so kind and always makes you feel comfortable. I also saw Dr Ketcherside and she is equally as kind and amazing. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Moore and her staff for safely bringing my baby into the world.
Update: The fact that this office would try to discredit this review, rather than deal with the situation head on tells you everything you need to know. For verification, I was seen by Dr. Perryman on 2/20/24, lodged a complaint with the office manager on 2/21/24, and spoke with his nurses multiple times throughout the following week.Dismissed, misdiagnosed, and written off by multiple members of the staff. One nurse suggested I might be experiencing pain because “thin people feel their uteruses more.” Left this clinic and immediately went to Planned Parenthood, where I received a real diagnosis, antibiotics, and a practitioner who listened to my concerns and had an actual conversation with me about my symptoms.
I made it back to this practice after about 7 years. I had a great experience with everyone, nurse line, front desk, nurses and Lee Alison Voi, NP. Everyone was so helpful and professional. The remodeled office is really nice and clean. So glad I came back-Highly recommend!
Have been going here for years and still highly recommend them. I’ve seen both Dr. Moore’s, Dr. Hurt, and Dr. Carter (who did my first c-section). With the birth of my first, I didn’t originally want a c-section and the elder Dr. Moore was very respectful of my decision and only suggested a c-section when it was the absolute last option for the health of my baby and myself. I also suffered from postpartum depression and my doctors were very understanding and supporting. Currently pregnant with my second and seeing the younger Dr. Moore, who has been great offering treatment options for my severe NVP.
I hate to leave a poor review because I really liked my one visit with the nurse practitioner there, but the receptionist who takes appointments is extremely rude. I hate that I cant have both a good doctor because of poor staff, but thats what it comes down to for me. I hope they hire friendlier and more helpful people. A shame.
I cannot say enough good things about this OBGYN office. As a patient (with Dr. Moore) and colleague at the hospital they deliver at, I have seen all sides of these providers from the bedside to clinic visits. They are attentive, responsive, compassionate, and beyond knowledgeable and really take the patients best interest to heart. We are expecting our first child this year and even though I work where I do, I still know nothing about prenatal care, and this practice has helped guide me and kept my nerves at ease through the pregnancy. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone seeking to establish care in the KC area or looking to make a switch. The office staff is also just as friendly and attentive to any needs or issues they may need from you as a patient and vice versa. Definitely give them a call to get all your OBGYN needs met and more !
Ive had great experiences with nearly all the physicians at this practice! Currently seeing Dr Moore this pregnancy and she is attentive, smart, and professional. I also feel like she doesnt rush me and listens to my concerns. Ive also seen Dr Ketcherside and Dr Hurt for pregnancy and have nothing but great things to say about both of them as well. I appreciate how they work together as a practice. Highly recommend this practice for any OB or GYN care you need.
I saw Dr. Jillian Moore today for the first time and it was the best GYN experience I’ve ever had. I was super late to my appointment because I got lost and she still took the time to see me. I didn’t feel rushed at all and she listened to all of my concerns. I strongly recommend!!!
I have been seeing Dr. Ryan for years. She also delivered my daughter! She is personable, honest, and a very talented doctor. I have also seen numerous other doctors within the practice for several emergencies, and always had a good experience. I highly recommend this practice.
Best. Experience. Ever. I found Plaza OBGYN on Google because I recently turned 21 and wanted to have my first Pap smear done. I was really nervous and have never been to a gynecologist before- But right when I stepped into their office, I was greeted with a smile, my nurse was so kind, and my Doctor, Dr. Moore, made the experience so comfortable. I have never felt so seen and understood.
They have a wonderful team! I recently had my first visit here and felt so welcomed. I found my new obgyn
Doctors are the only professionals ones working at this facility. Registration staff and nurses are out of reality when it comes to service and communication/transparency.We came in for a 20week appt, without talking to us they assumed we were early and made us wait even longer; took 1.5 hours wait after checking in, for a 5 mins ultrasound. Eventually when it was our turn we had to correct our charts as they wanted to us to come back, they realized we were right about our 20 week appt and took care of us in 5mins.If it wasnt for the doctor we would have left this practice asap. To the nursing/registration staff, treat your patients like your family member coming in to visit. Please communicate any delays especially when you see a patient with a toddler..
I had Dr. Moore and she was absolutely sweet and genuine. Im very good at discernment and she was very nice. So I am pleased with the care that I received. Glad I found a good Dr.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I reported to them how their ultrasound technician painfully violated me. They did not care and are now taking me to collections over the $200 bill for the same amount ultrasound during which the violation took place. This is not a safe place for women, at least it wasn’t for me.
Dr. Moore Is the best physician I have ever seen. She is very comprehensive and extremely considerate in her medical methods and plan recommendations.
Dr. Jillian Moore does a good job of listening and explaining things and has never made me feel rushed!
Have had several issues with this place. I don’t know why I kept going back.
Doctor Hurt is great!
