Please do something about the front desk people who answer the calls. Wish I knew her name but she is so unreasonably rude. Im a new patient and first time pregnant with so many concerns and fears and when I called about my severe headache and not wanting to take medications for it and looking for an alternative remedy, she said why did you call us? what do you want us to tell you? I froze! I was calm and friendly when I asked the question and even after that rude answer I kept my cool and said Are you asking me? Im no expert! and then she laughed and talked about different options. I dont know if she was trying to be funny but its still inappropriate!
Wonderful providers that take time to listen and care. I see Dr. Van Pelt and she is thorough, efficient and kind. I highly recommend this office!
I have been seen twice by Natalie Khuu, PA. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She is kind, professional, thorough and genuinely cares. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood her plan. I am very fortunate to have found Natalie and she is part of my care team. Also, the front staff and my nurse was outstanding!! Thank you!
Whoever handles the phones is very rude and short. Being a clinic that deals with such sensitive situations you’d think they’d be more respectful.
Mothers beware! I unfortunately did not have a good experience here so I wanted to share with others so that your babies have a chance! My sisters have a history of early loss so after explaining this to the nurse while scheduling my OB appointment they were able to get me in early which I was grateful for. We went in for an ultrasound and there was no clear answer as to what was going on, so they were going to talk with the doctor. A different nurse calls us back in, and is explaining our next steps and possibly that I am miscarrying but they aren’t sure yet all while we are in the middle of the hallway for everyone to hear. They had me do blood work on a Tuesday then again on Thursday to see what my hcg and progesterone levels were doing. I was supposed to get a call early that afternoon from them on what was going on-it got later and later so I finally called and they apologized for not getting back to me sooner and they forgot about it and had to run it by the doctor still. I finally got a call about 1.5 hrs later-they said my levels were rising but not rising to where they should be and that I was miscarrying then proceeded to explain the process if I do miscarry over the weekend and there’s nothing they could do. We were devastated hearing this thinking we are losing our baby. I consulted with my sisters who have had a history and all 3 of them mentioned they had low levels too and got on progesterone shots. I called back to talk with the nurse to see if this was something I could get on, she consulted with the doctor and they weren’t comfortable giving it to me as they said it’s like “putting a bandaid on a bullet wound”. We had a gut feeling we needed to get a second opinion before just giving up on our baby. We went in Friday to a different OB, after they analyzed the labs, and I explained my sisters history, they had no problem giving me the progesterone and we actually felt heard and taken care. I went in This last Tuesday for an ultrasound with my new OB and everything is great with the baby, we saw the heart flutters and we are both in good health. We did not feel taken care of at all in this office and I knew I did not want to go my whole pregnancy having to be treated like another number to them. I am writing this as a first time mom who thankfully has older sisters who have gone through it already and can guide me. This may not be your situation, but I wanted to make the public aware that if this office says there is nothing they can do, go get a second opinion so your baby has a fighting chance!Update! Our perfectly healthy little boy arrived 7/25. I’d advise anyone contemplating going here, don’t.
Dr. Mahoney performed a hysterectomy on my friend. Less than 3 weeks later, my friend was in the ER with multiple organ sepsis.I personally have seen Dr. Fossen for miscarriage complications and would give her 3-4 stars.
They are not up to date on information about helping Endometriosis. I was told birth control would prevent more “disease”/Orisilla would clear it up. There’s no proof of either. Highly recommend looking into Nancy’s Nook on Facebook- a group. Created by real Endometriosis Specialists sharing the most up to date and accurate info. & they have Drs listed that they recommend for the best treatment.
Random comment....why do places never give their fax numbers on their profile when you google them lol just the main phone number yep thats all we need. just CALL to find out the fax number lol. weird.
Sharing a 4 star review because the Dr.s and nursing staff are AMAZING here. Ive never felt more taken care of than at this office. However... the office staff that tends to the phones are incredibly rude. Each time Ive called with concerns I needed to address I was cut off, and talked down to. The last time I called in with a question I hung up the phone in tears due to how poorly I was spoken to.
I love this place, Dr. Fassen is thorough, loving and always covers all areas of my annual check up and listens to any concerns I have. Cannot say enough about this office and the staff, they go above and beyond in every aspect of my care, from follow up with results, etc. and always kind words. I’ve been a patient since 1984 Dr. Hutchins delivered our daughter. Highly recommend to all!!
Wonderful group of doctors! I always feel very taken care and reassured that I am under good care. I would recommend to anyone looking for a caring office!
My recent visit was great! The check front office staff, nurse, and Dr. Van Pelt were all very friendly and efficient. When I said I would like to get a new IUD, they called my insurance while I was still in the office to see if it would be covered, and managed to do it the same appointment! I was in and out in quickly.
The amount of sass and attitude I just received from the woman answering the phone is outstanding. I was calling looking for a clinic I had spoken to two months prior and wasn’t able to remember the name and the whole conversation was pure attitude. Followed by when I said I was going to call other clinics she hung up the phone. There is way more to life than to make people feel small for asking questions. Seriously do better.
Dr. Cada is very caring, knows I have boys, spends time asking me about my concerns and answering questions. She is there for my well being, which is not what I have experienced in five other physicians like her that I have seen over the years, sadly, even who delivered my babies. I can’t say enough about her and the other staff. They are efficient, get appointments done in good time. Very genuine and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Gynecology & Fertility P.C.
Had the best experience with this office, specifically Dr. Jenna Van Pelt. The entire office made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I had my first Pap smear here, Jenna and her nurse took extra care to make sure I knew what to expect before I even undressed. Jenna explained everything she was doing making the exam quick and easy. I could not have had a better experience and plan to come back in the future.
What an amazing OB clinic. I came here this past year for my first pregnancy. The entire office is so welcoming and kind and very professional. They are great at returning calls, working with you on your schedule, and the whole clinic runs smooth. I saw Dr. Mahoney and she is wonderful. She’s so smart and professional and answered all my first time mom questions so politely. She’s the best.
I was referred here by my doctor after finding out I was pregnant and preferred an all woman staff. I have to say by other reviews I have never encountered anyone rude working there everyone who I have met has been really nice and made me feel comfortable every single time I had an appointment.
Mary Jane is amazing! Im so glad that I followed her from her last location. I recommend her to anyone. She truly listens and cares, gives great advice. Thank you for being you, Mary Jane! Not to mention, the nurse that helped me today is hilarious and puts you at ease. They know their stuff and you know that right when you walk in. Im so thankful Ive found my place.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr Van Pelt. I was pregnant and had my baby in the middle of a pandemic so it was a learning curve for everyone. She was always very kind and took any concerns I had very seriously. She made sure she was there to deliver my baby the day he came. I appreciated her taking an interest in him and my well-being throughout my entire pregnancy journey.
I am a patient of Dr. Eisenhaurs and she’s so caring and kind. She delivered my first baby and took time after to make sure I was doing ok and to tell me how great I did. She’s now caring for me and will be delivering my second baby! I’ve also seen Dr. Mahoney for a couple of visits and she was very kind as well! The nurses are always caring, attentive, and super sweet! The front desk staff is efficient!
The office staff who set up my appointment were wonderful! Explained everything fully and answered all my questions. Dr Cada is kind and relatable. Thank you to you all!
The two women that answer the phone are very rude. I asked one if she knew what the next plan was if my current fertility treatment didnt work. She responded, I dont know. I then asked her if she could ask my doctor and she said, No, just call us back when you either get a period or positive pregnancy test. Its extremely frustrating to feel so disrespected and belittled.
Everyone is friendly and professional, the office is clean and they care about their patients. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!
There is no one better out there (in my opinion) than Dr. Katie Fossen. She cares about her patients so dang much. The entire office amazing from the front desk staff to medical assistants to the RNs. Can’t say enough good things!
If you have a daughter under the age of 18 and assume this office follows the HIPAA mandate of 18, you are wrong. My daughter is 13 and I was informed I have no rights to her medical records unless she signs a release. How can a 13 year old legally sign for anything? The nurse even told her she would have to sign the release every time she comes in and if she ever comes in without her mom and does not want her to know what it was about, then they will not tell her. If you are a good, involved, concerned parent who believes like the federal government you have a right to be involved in your childs care until 18 do not go to this office. There are several other offices in town that believe in parental rights and follow HIPAA. We will not be back.
All the staff and doctors are amazing and kind! Never had a bad experience.
I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Dr Cada and Dr Van Pelt. All other aspects have been easy also - billing, scheduling, etc. Everyone has been kind, personable, and professional.
Dr Cada is my absolute favorite. I wish she could be my primary doctor. Which she had reminded me she cannot… but all the same! 😀
They do not provide all the services I needed and one of the OBGYNs I saw was unfriendly/judgmental. Obvious people like me dont belong here.
Ive been going here since 1998 and have had wonderful experiences each time. They really take their time with you and make you feel like your concerns matter.
I love this place. They treat you well and Dr Fossen is amazing. I will never see another gyn as long as I live here.
Have been going here since I moved to Lincoln in 2018 and theyre always professional and kind!!
I originally had Dr. Mahoney and had to switch because she was awful and rude. Dr. Cada is much better and kinder!
Dr. Katie Fossen is the best! Completely empathetic and helpful.
Not impressed. I feel like I wasted a lot of valuable time here before going to my next step
The Doctors and Staff at Gynecology and Fertility are Amazing!
Everything is great until you have problems!
Wonderful group of providers!
