I would give 0 stars if possible. Do not go here. They do not care about the patients. They have “LAB errors” with their blood work tests and force patients to come back in to “retake” the tests. On top of that, the staff are not trained. The nurses poke you many times looking for veins and don’t know how to find them. There is no communication between staff. I asked for a competent and experienced staff member to draw my blood given my history and needs, and I was passed around from person to person and stabbed many times.
Wasting my time . With appointment for lab arrived 20 minutes early I spent 1 hour waiting I asked the guy who works in the lab about me , he was so rude and unprofessional, this person need to go back school and learn better skills.My whole family moving to a different clinic. Horrible front office staff. If Google ever needs an example of what apathy looks like it should use the faces of this front office staff. I think they only have seven to nine parking spaces for patients so its a good thing that I live close by and can walk to the clinic. And, that is the only reason why I come to this Clinic. The providers are very helpful and thoughtful. The front office staff should learn from the back office staff about mannerism.
I went to the health department. Before I came to Saban clinic. And all of a sudden I had things reported to me . Out side my health department report. The nurses are mostly sleep when you call , in they also engage in electronic device communication . During work hours So you’re a personal medical information might be spread at this location because of the electronic communication that they’re having outside of their job, so a lot of your privacy is invaded . And when you call they will crack a lot of dry Humor joke on whatever gossip they are obtaining From communication outside of their work that invades your privacy. They all talk and discuss Patience, medical information So if you want privacy, if you want your doctor to tell you exactly what he sees and provide the results for what he sees so that the patient can read the chart when it says positive or negative then do not come to this location.
Saban Community Clinic has everything for kids and adults. In addition, I was going through a domestic abuse situation, finally, I escaped my abuser and became homeless. I was calling different shelters and no one was accepting me. Finally, I recalled my case manager Fabiola, and called her. I told her my whole situation and the next day I was in a DV shelter. Im very grateful because now my kids and I are in a better place than we used to. This clinic has truly helped me and my kids with many resources such as clothes, mental health, shelter, etc. Right now Im in a transitional shelter where we are getting lots of help as well. but Im glad that I was able to count on Fabiolas help. Im grateful to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who have also donated us items. Thank you all
Terrible place! They’re treating people like animals!My doctor she pro-scripted all bunch of strong medication for me, then i went to the pharmacy (pretty far) spend all day over there to pick it up just to hear in the next morning from my nurse Nathaniel that I don’t need them and i had a dose already, and they don’t even feel sorry about it! After they tracking patients with phone calls and bullying people with very rude questions not even asking if i can speak or not, if i have somebody next to me hearing conversation, because usually i have it on the speaker ! And when i asked my nurse if he is at the clinic at the moment he was like.. “why?”What kind of answer is that when the patient wants to visit a doctor or something????? If you’re calling me with this question, be nice to answer mine!!! It should be back and forth so your patients feel comfortable!!!! You giving a service to people and should do it well and with all respect!!!!! I feeling good already but they making you seek by following you!!!!And it was another situation next, i had some appointment with same doctor and the same nurse called me an hour before my appointment and told me that we decided to cancel it because you don’t need it! I’m like … 👀… ok good for me!They’re just don’t respect our time! And i am sure that other people had this bad experience as well!This clinic has a very low rate 3.4!!! And Im sure it’s gonna be lowest soon! I don’t want to be tight with this place!!!!! And i have my own doctor who’s taking care of me very well!!!!
NOT URGENT CARE. I did a Google search for urgent care and this place came up, but they do not actually do urgent care, so if that is what you need, this is NOT the place. They were nice, though. The parking lot is for staff only, so dont bother trying to find a space.
This place is a nightmare from hell. I havent even gone there yet and the experience I have been through as a medi-cal insured person has been third world bottom of the barrell horrendous. The Beverly clinic said I had to go to Melrose clinic if I wanted to see a real MD as my primary care doctor. I located a real MD on the website for the Melrose clinic so I called my insurance to get him and that clinic put down as the PCP so I could make an appt with him. Medi-cal never head of him - ever. No record of him ever. Said I had to call the clinic for help since there was no record of Dr. Khalili. Then my hell began. 3 consecutive days of calling - about 12 calls in all - about 6 hours in all of being on hold over the three days. Nothing but totally incompetent, clueless phone operators - there is no supervisor there to talk to about this issue just clueless bots on the phone who have literally no idea what is going on. I fought to get the number for the executive office hoping to find an executive who might help - the staff are trained to hide the CEOs location and phone. Shes MIA - the inmates are running the asylum. This place is a hell hole with no competent person there of any kind. I would run as fast as possible away from this pathetic money hole.
I go to the one in Hollywood n I love my doctor Samantha she is every understanding to my needs and wants n knows how to adjust to my schedule or timing ... I appreciate my doctor for being so nice n helping with my trans medication n just in general of me transitioning
Special thanks to Dr.Allison Dietze and Ms.Rodriguez for making my dental visit exceptional. This location has the most nicest and efficient staff all around from reception to the dental assistants, then Dr. Allison who made my tooth extraction so painless, all the way to picking up my medication. This clinic really helps you out and most importantly they show how much they care. I was Comfortable the whole time and they really made me feel cared for. Thanks for your patience and humbleness. On 6/10/23, I visited the medical facility and was informed that a follow-up appointment was scheduled for 7/3/23. However, when I arrived on 7/3/23 for the said appointment, the staff informed me of an administrative error. Apparently, the individual who made the appointment was not employed at that location and was unaware of the existence of two individuals named Jennifer. I remained understanding and requested a rescheduled appointment on the correct doctor.To my surprise, the Medical Assistant (MA) informed me that the soonest available appointment would be on 8/3/23. This was disconcerting as the mistake was not my own, and both the MA and Dr. Jennifer Lee had recommended a walk-in appointment for 7/5/23 due to the federal holiday on 7/4/23, preventing me from providing a 24-hour notice. Unfortunately, upon arriving on 7/5/23 for the walk-in appointment, I was informed by the reception desk that they were not authorized to offer walk-in appointments, and they suggested I return the following day.I expressed my distress to the receptionist, emphasizing that the mistake was made by the facilitys staff, not me. Despite this, there was a lack of compassion and understanding, and I was simply instructed to wait while she contacted someone else. Overwhelmed by the situation, I eventually broke down, and an LVN was called to address the matter.During my interaction with the LVN, I felt pressured to accept the next days appointment. However, its important to note that I rely on medical-provided transportation, which has limited rides, and I must prioritize transportation for my physical therapy sessions. It wasn’t until I had cried and begged that I was offered a different female doctor that could see me that day. As a medical patient, I cant help but feel discriminated against, considering the recurring issues I encounter during each visit to this facility. I strongly believe that my pain is not being taken seriously, and I perceive a lack of genuine care for me as a patient.Given the continuous challenges and the feeling of being dismissed, I am considering seeking care at an alternative clinic. The Saban Hollywood clinic, in particular, has been praised for its superior customer service, making it a potential option for my future healthcare needs. I will be going there in future and hope that my experience is better than in the clinics so far Saban in Virgil and Saban in Melrose are a let down. Don’t go to these two!
Staff in the front are nice not too bad. Staff in the clinic are cool never rude. Place always looks clean. You can call or use the app for everything. they have a pharmacy and lab in the building. Had some issues with some lab stuff that never got sorted, and the only bad part is that theres only like 6 parking spots for patients the rest is staff only. Building looks rough outside but the inside is usually very clean. overall its a cool spot and they do have 2 more I believe.
I have been coming to this clinic for over a year and I glad I did. I know it takes time for you to get and appointment. But once you are with them, they will take care of you. Yeah the phone system and being able to walk in needs to improve. But overall I like that is never crowded. You get with them with appointment.
I like my doctor here a lot these doctors office has much better service than other doctors I have been too in la so I am staying here.unfortunately I didnt think it was time for a flu shot during my most recent appointment and was told I cant get one in time for the next two months. maybe Im expecting to much but it would have been nice if the doctor had said something although Ive also always had to ask all my other doctors. if prefer to actually be able to get the shot from my doctor. this is the only difficulty that the doctor is so tied up it takes a while to get an appointment.because of covid I prefer Telehealth but dont like it on the phone.I didnt go here a lot but there is a building on the other street the old one says saban. That is not the office anymore its where the parking lot is!!
Ive been going here for a few years now. Every time I make an appointment they can get me in within a week or less and wait no more than 10 minutes to be seen by the doctor. I insist on seeing Dr. Jennifer Nguyen every time because she is extremely kind, takes the time to listen and very professional. I literally have been to other doctors where they just straight up ask me What kind of pills do you want?, so its nice to have a Dr. like Jennifer who really cares and doesnt rush you out with pills without figuring out what the real problem is first.The staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of reviews say people arent friendly, but maybe because Im naturally a friendly person I can get along and chat nicely with most people. Usually people that complain about rude staff are usually people who are rude or not friendly to begin with and wont admit it... lol, you know who you are :PGiving it 4 stars because parking can be a challenge and the building is on the older side and not updated, but thats just cosmetic stuff. What really counts are the lovely people running the place.
I’ve never had such a negative experience I’d my entire life dealing with any other medical facility. The employee Mahmoud in the pharmacy department has clearly shown his outside opinions as far as helping certain people that look like me snd unfortunately discrimination is illegal. also caught them STEALING AND RESELLING my medication which is an osha violation. I have filed an official complaint with the State Pharmacy Board in Sacramento which can not be reverse or cancelled. Along with that I will also require a written apology from Mahmoud before I speak to anyone about fully resolving this issue. The next time anything is missing from my orders I will call the police on site to prevent them from further stealing my life saving meds as a type 1 (juvenile) diabetic. I have absolutely no idea how they are able to continue to stay open or receive funding considering this is far from the first of these complaints. A few years back almost their entire pharmacy team was replaced due to aggression and discrimination towards black people specifically. I will not tolerate this type of treatment nor should I have been made to.
Everyone at this location looks miserable. I walked in and the place smelled, there was a codon wrapper on top of a fan in the room I was placed in (I have a photo of this).There was also a dog pee pad on the chair for the patient - so tacky and weird. The place was disgusting and I ran to the shower once I got home. To top it off I had the worst experience with Cynthia Vasquez - who was the rude medical assistant that hung up the phone on me because I was upset that after weeks of calling and leaving voicemails no one had called me back. I immediately drove to the main location and made a complaint and they apologized and were able to give me a same day appointment. Unfortunately you need to get upset here to get the staff to do anything - but I don’t have the patience or interest in getting mad so I changed my PCP and will be going somewhere else. There are better places out there, don’t settle. Also, Dr. Lee gave me some medical advice that I seriously questioned and after calling my previous gynecologist I can say Dr. Lee was incorrect in her recommendations. Always get a second opinion! Just because one doctor says the sky is red doesn’t mean it’s true. I’m glad I never have to step foot in that dump again, sucks they have to work there - that’s probably why they all look like they hate their jobs.
Im a new patient due to insurance change. Ive been there twice with my Doctor; no complaints. 2 times at Lab; technician cant find my vein; he withdraws my blood from my hand...🤨. Ive seen a couple of reviews mentioning the big parking Yes, it is big; but 99% is for EMPLOYEES. Actually theres no more than 10 spaces for patients. Last time I had to change my appointment, because I couldnt even find parking on the street!
My toddler and I have been going to the Saban Clinic Melrose for over 4 years. From the maternity’s doctors to my daughter’s pediatrician (Dr. Yanina Queen) to my primary care doctor (Dr. Khoury) to all the nurses, I haven’t experienced anything but excellent services every single time.- The clinic may not be fancy but we’re not either there for the building or the front desk staffs. We’re there to make sure our health’s issues are taken cared of and to meet the end goal which is being health and the clinic never failed to deliver it.- Even with the health issues that are not their specialties, our doctors (Dr. Khoury and Dr. Queen) tried their very best for my daughter and I to get the referrals to the right specialists within the timely manner, along with following up to make sure our health issues were resolved.- There are plenty of doctors who can do their jobs well. But the ones we have been seeing @ this clinic are not only doing their jobs well but also doing it with care and compassion.- Our health is everything to us so from the bottom of our hearts, thanks a million times💞💞.
Care has been very good here and the staff is friendly and helpful.1/30/24 I signed up for Kaiser, was with them years ago. Kaisers a one stop shop and close by. So decided to make the change in my health care.
Honestly I’m disappointed that I have to give this clinic one star.Some of the nurses there are truly incredible. Glenda, a nurse, is amazing and she’s a hard worker, she does everything in her power for clients.My issue with this clinic, I’m never able to get an appointment. They never answer the phone for me to even make an appointment. I recently had a baby less than 6 months ago, they ignored the fact that I told them the IUD felt a little off to me, they suggested I keep it for another 3 months, it has been about 2 months and my pain in getting worse, I think I’m going through PPD And I’ve been trying to contact the office to make an appointment and no luck. I couldn’t get an answer or a call back and I’ve ledt numerous messages.It’s almost unbelievable to me that this is a clinic/ doctors office and they can’t even follow up, or check on their prenatal patients.Also when I was 9 months pregnant, I was feeling a pain and I called the office, nobody picked up, and I didn’t get a response until a week later.
I waited over 2 months for an appointment with my PCP and they cancelled without telling me. They have the nerve to tell me I cancelled. The next appointment is one month later. They dont allow walk-ins. Terrible service and no respect for patients.
Yesterday after a long wait I was finally able to see a doctor thinking that they could do a physical on me, during the consultation they checked my sugar which was fine, after that I asked the doctor if he could do a blood test (the test physical) which he told me that they had already done it, I insisted many times for that physical exam, but he did not know what to do, the only thing that occurred to him was to give me 2 vaccines, one for shingles and tetanus, I left the clinic worse than when I entered, yes, with a new appointment until November for the physical exam, while I have to find another place where they can do the physical and check my stomach, the only thing I could verify is that it was a waste of time with that doctorEsta clinica es una burla, mi cita estava para 3:30, lleguè 2:45, me atendieron 4:30 , yo esperando que hoy me hicieran el fisico y el doctor pensò que solo por checarme el azucar ya ese era el examen fisico, ahora tengo que esperarme hasta noviembre para examenes,

I tried calling over and over and just waited on hold and never reached anyone. It shouldnt take over an hour to make a dr appt. They have a thing where you can enter your number and they will call back. I tried it 3x and no one called back... so terrible i called to switch drs
I had to go with my cousin to accompany her, but this lady told me to wait literally outside the building (and I dont drive/have a car). They also dont have any seats that I can sit on while waiting for my cousin outside the clinic. I understand the covid situation but I needed to accompany her.
In case youd like to spend your day in clinic you should choose this location. +-1 hour waiting near the door, +- one hour waiting for a doctor, in case of vaccination + time for waiting..
An amazing clinic! The service you get here compared to what you pay for is incredible. I’m so thankful this place is in existence as I haven’t had a bad experience yet and it truly is a paragon of affordable healthcare.About 4 years ago I had such a bad case of the flu I felt like I was going to die. I came here and Ndika Fomukong saved my life. While he’s at the Hollywood location now, this is still a great treatment center.I don’t know what myself or others would do if this place wasn’t here and hope it can keep going!
Its chill when I first started going there in till one of the nurses was rude when I was only trying to ask a question. I also recently got a shot & it has left me a bruise. Told them about it & they said oh yeah, that happens sometimes well its never happen to me. Also make sure you get there on time or else theyll give your spot away. Theyll wait 5 minutes & if you dont make it, its taken. . . There pluotamus is very unprofessional they dont know how to withdraw blood.

Called following a referral from the county to get a vaccine, and the lady said they dont give the vacccine then hung up on me. On chat they gave me a non-working phone number for the county. Dont go to these people for help. They are rude and useless.
Worst experience of going to the doctors. The doctors and clinics purposely split 1 apmt into 2 to charge more. They scheduled me to a completely different location. They told me it was an in person appointment when it was actually a telephone apmt. Everything was wrong on all accounts.
Authorizations not being processed which delays care. Appointments booked with the wrong physician. Lack of communication with the front desk and the nurses causing misinformation.
I’ve been here for 2 visits so far, one for lab tests and another for a check up appointment. Both times, wait times were very quick and all staffs I’ve interacted with were very friendly.

Cut finger wouldnt stop bleeding. Was told to go to ER. Went to another urgent care place where they put 2 stitches, antibiotic and gave a tetanus shot. Saban is a joke.
First visit and I was pleasantly surprised. All 3 of the staff I talked to were friendly and knowledgeable and I did not have to wait long.
Please don’t waste your time with the Nurse Practitioner Jennifer all she had was an attitude the whole time and very sarcastic when I was asking her simple questions.

The pharmacy and laboratory are in the same building and Dr. Kim is very professional and the staff treats the patients very well, but sometimes we are the patients who treat the staff badly. just because we want to be attended to immediately.. thank you for serving us

A very unpredictable place. At first everything was no problem, I came and signed up for vaccination without any problems. When it was time to get the next vaccinations, I came to sign up and they said call the number. I tell them that this number is not working. But they dont care! Face like a brick! They answer that they cannot solve my problem! So this is not my problem, dear workers! This is your problem in the system and in people who do not know how to communicate with patients at all! I am changing clinics, complete disappointment! Ugh
We came with a child by appointment at our own time. We spent an hour traveling by public transport!!! They made me wait in line. And at the same time they said that we do not have the right to tell a doctor how and when to see patients. And you have no right to manage my time!!!
Terrible service. I have seen the same Dr. for 2 years. Most of the time I wait more than 1 hour. And when its my turn, Dr. It doesnt take more than 3 minutes in the office. He doesnt even know what hes doing. Today I had an appointment at 11:15 am and due to traffic reasons I arrived at 11:16 and they did not want to see me. They told me I had to wait for the next available appointment. Very bad service. Very terrible Front Desk people!
They should have educated, trained people, not the kind of people they have who only spend their time talking and the patients there waiting, but if you are late there they dont treat you... better to close the clinic or look for employees and doctors who are worth earning the money because those staff and doctors are useless and they fantasize and decriminate ugly I am so disappointed in that clinic and its staff... before there was a very good and very attentive doctor but they changed her from there it is no use... if I die they are those responsible for not serving me..

The bad thing is that they make an appointment at one time, and they dont attend to you at the time they set the appointment for you, until after half an hour or sometimes even longer. Thats something they need to improve.
