Only 11 out of 29 eggs survived the thawing process collected at age 39 (should be 23-25 at ~20% attrition according to statistics.) Since I got pregnant at 42 after I left this clinic, that suggests it’s likely not egg quality. Embryologist after thawing eggs noted, “egg freezing issues?” Currently seeing another IVF clinic for baby #2.
I found Dr Bayrak after seeing 3 other fertility doctors around the LA area. I didnt have a personal recommendation but had read about reviews of successful pregnancies and his medical background so I set up a consult. When I arrived at his office I had already dealt with a lot of medical issues surrounding infertility, so my criteria for him was to not sugar coat my chances - I wanted the honest truth - and he gave it to me. My chances were not great.I had a lot of work to do to get me to the transfer - 8 months later from meeting him I finally had an embryo transferred and it was successful!! I have a 2 year old running around the house! For a long time I didnt think it would have been possible. And now Im pregnant again and due in February, thanks to Dr Bayrak. His ability to assess the situation and provide a path forward was what made everything possible.
Dr. Bayrak helped me when the big clinics said I would never have children without using an egg donor. He is willing to take the hard cases that others won’t for fear of messing up their success statistics. He is a miracle worker!
This guy will push you and charge you before and after and bill your insurance, and then later insurance will bill you additional. We paid for ultrasound and lab fees, then later received a bill for consultation and more lab deductibles.
We have been to several infertility doctors and Dr. Bayrak was by far the worst. He is only motivated by his greed for money. He does not care if you get pregnant. Do not go to him, he didnt even have the decency to give us a call after the failed procedure was completed. He does not like to answer too many questions and gets irritated if you know what you are talking about. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere to avoid a miserable experience with Dr. Bayruk and his office manager. They have zero sympathy and want to squeeze you for every penny knowing how desperate you are.
