I saw Dr. Wright back in 2019, I suspected adenomyosis and she disagreed on that and refused an endometriosis exploratory surgery. In 2020, Adenomyosis was confirmed after a hysterectomy by another surgeon. I went back to her in 2023 when symptoms returned, since I thought now that I had a confirmed diagnosis of adenomyosis she would believe me that I had endometriosis. She again refused since previous pathology was negative (by the way, pathology is never 100% my prior surgeon told me in her mind it was endometriosis despite the negative pathology). However, adenomyosis was ruled positive by pathology. SO, I went to Mayo clinic since Dr. Wright dismissed me and had another endometriosis exploratory where endometriosis was finally lab confirmed. I know Dr. Wright is on the Nook list, but I have had nothing but disappointing, invalidating experiences. If I had listened to her I would still be in pain.
Overcharged my insurance! All she did was see if I had a polyp with her magic wand. I did not. I was referred to her by my OBGYN. I received my Explanation of Benefits and it says surgery and pharmacy and operating room. It does not make sense because it took less than two minutes and the most she did was give me two Ibuprofens. The entire bill was more than 19k and now the insurance is saying that I have to pay more than $700. I am going to fight this. Stay away!
I met Dr Wright March 2020 she performed my excision surgery and removed a great deal of my endometriosis growth, she placed an IUD in and told me that she knew my life would start to get back to normal for me and I’d be able to be a normal happy 25 year old, I got my life back the pain went from being at a constant 12 to now only affecting me during my cycle or a week before I’m no longer collapsing on the floor from pain or having my legs go out on me. I’m very happy to say that I no longer need strong pain pills daily only some OTC midol when needed. And I’m so happy and grateful to say after removing my IUD I was able to get pregnant naturally two months after removal. So thank you Dr Wright for changing my life
Dr. Wright is excellent and amazing!! She did excision laparoscopic surgery on me for my stage 4 endometriosis. She did an incredible job by meticulously and thoroughly removing all endo and scar tissues and putting back my anatomy in place. What a relief! She is one of the best out there and there is a reason why she is high demand. Her team including the anesthesiologists were very caring as well.
Dr. Wright is Wrong! She did not even examine me. She told me I needed a hysterectomy & filled a pre prescription for gosh knows what? She said my fibroids would never go away. She only glanced at my MRI. I had a 2nd opinion at Cedars. That Dr. Was like wait & see. During my last 2 years of pain, hemorrhage & suffering I changed my diet, started vigorously exercising again & taking more natural supplements. It’s 2021 no more pain, nor hemorrhage & I am better. Dr. Wright wanted to operate to make money & did not understand my condition or concerns at all. Dr. Wrong you messed with me & in the end I was Dr. Right! Time & Patience! Do not see this Dr. Unless you want to be cut open!
Thank you Dr. Wright. I just had surgery yesterday and everything went so smooth. No pain before the procedure. Her team is amazing even the anesthesiologists was very caring. I had a laparoscipic myoectomy. She was very informative and caring. Thank you again
I had a very bad experience with Dr. Kelly Wright. My gynecologist Christine Collins misdiagnosed me that I had polyps that needed to be removed or they’d turn into cancer, so she sent me to Dr Kelly Wright to remove the polyps. When I came in Dr Kelly Wright’s office, they told me to fill out and sign a bunch of paperwork and Dr Wright came in to tell me what polyps meant which I already knew from Google and asked me when my last period was and then told me to set up a schedule for the surgery between the 4th -7th day of my next period, WITHOUT even testing me to double check if I had polyps, and then sent me 2 separate bills, one from her and one from Cedars Sinai. Since I had a really bad experience with Cedars Sinai and its doctors Karyn Solky and Dr Wang who misdiagnosed me years ago (they opened me up and found nothing wrong with me and they took a lot of money from my insurance and more than $10,000 from my out-of-pocket), I became more cautious with them, so I went to a UCLA doctor for 2nd opinion. The doctor at UCLA tested me and I took MRIs and they found nothing wrong with me, I had no polyps and I didn’t need any surgery. And Cedars Sinai keeps sending me all kinds of bills for NOT testing me and for their misdiagnosis, I called them about their wrong doings and they didn’t care, they said “you signed the paperwork and Dr Wright talked to you so you have to pay”. They almost opened me up again to find nothing wrong and then bill me and my insurance a bunch of money. Horrible!
Absolutely amazing doctor. Professional, very knowledgeable and very very kind. The nicest doctor I’ve ever met. The nurse Ariel and all her staff were also great!
