Our IVF doctor recommended Dr. Rad to us when we found out that I was pregnant with mono-mono twins. Of course, we were very excited and happy, but we also knew that it was a high-risk pregnancy and we needed a really good doctor. We were very anxious before we scheduled the appointment. But when we met Dr. Rad and talked to him, my husband and I immediately realized that this was the right choice. Dr. Rad is a very knowledgeable, confident, caring and thoughtful doctor who provided an excellent care during my whole pregnancy and delivered my perfect baby boys. He always took time to walk us through all the details and also listened to all my needs and worries. He continued the same way when I was hospitalized visiting me almost every day. Dr. Rad chose a perfect timing for my delivery which wasn’t too early but still right on time as my twins appeared to be tangled and delaying even a day could cause complications. Needless to say that Dr. Rad has an amazing team, very caring and responsive. I could text them at any time of the day, and either the doctor himself or one of his team members would always respond. That was amazing.If I could give more stars to Dr. Rad I definitely would! We highly recommend him to everyone who needs by all means a great doctor.
We had a great experience with Dr. Rad. He took his time to make sure that he wasn’t missing anything. We were able to ask appropriate questions after our consult with him to ensure the best possible outcome for our baby. He followed the rest of my pregnancy, and it was so comforting to know we had him checking in. Another great thing was that he was able to see us at hours that other doctors normally aren’t able to so he got us in quick. This was helpful since at the time we all had a lingering question of whether or not fetal intervention was necessary. I was losing amniotic fluid and we didn’t know how much time we had. Since we are not from California, we flew in for his opinion and it was 100% worth it. Grateful for all the help and guidance he gave us.
The reason why we are having a beautiful family right now is all thanks to Dr. Rad. He saved my life, and helped me deliver my very first child safely and peacefully.Last year, I found out I might have miscarriage and was referred to Dr. Rad. Sadly I did indeed have a miscarriage but he also discovered a large cyst growing in one of my ovaries which was potentially highly dangerous that no other doctor was able to notice it before. He helped me to get through the challenging time and made sure I recovered perfectly. This year, I found I was pregnant again and I was so happy to reach out to Dr. Rad right away. He and his fantastic team Brittany, Alysa, Laurice, Eva and everyone there were all my favorite. They are very thoughtful, skillful, kind and they made us feel comfortable and enjoyed getting ready to be a parent.He always dedicated his time to each of his patients and made sure he is on top of his patients and baby’s situation and walked us through every detail. We always communicated with him when we had questions Dr. Rad and his team took away all our worries and concerns.We highly recommend Dr. Rad to everyone. If I could give more stars to Dr. Rad, I definitely would. He took the best care of my mom during her pregnancy from a-z. I was at every appointment/check up and we always left with a smile on our faces. Their office is like a family and they treat you as apart of them. We were able to reach Dr. Rad at any hour, any day of the week which put our hearts to ease. Him and his team would always make sure to send us a text making sure everything was okay. Once my mom gave birth to my baby sister, Dr. Rad saw her in his office twice to make sure mom’s health was doing well and he always wants to see pictures of the baby which makes our heart warm! I always Respect Doctors who invest in HiTech technology adn in his cleint well being , shows me they , many Clinic uses basic old Technology .. At His Practice you are in Good Hands great Doctor Amazing Ultrasound Machines. I beleive this Super importnat to avoid wrong Screening or Diagnosis, its always Good be seen in office with the latest and Newest equipment.We have Kaiser , we drove 4 hours round trip just to come and see him for second opinion.The Doctors at Kaiser are stiff very Robot like personality with lack of knowledge, we so glad we come to him outside our network . Kaiser Doctor Spend 10 minutes .Dr Steve saw on Saturday 8pm stayed till 10pm , even he said he work a night before till 3 am for helping one of his cleint who come in to Er for help , he was up till 3 am he was tired , but that did not stop him to see us on short notice , wait for us ! Showed me this Doctor is next level in paying close attention to his Patients , he is very carrying about his patients he cares for them like their are his own family !Alysia patient Coordinator, office manager was Amazing for the moment I called she was extremely helpfull fitting us in to be seen immediately! She had very sweet and Angelic Personality very compassionate!She followed up with me , and showed me she was concerned about me and my wife and baby .. this was the start . Dr. Rad and his team took such great care of me throughout my pregnancy. His thoroughness during each ultrasound made me feel so confident that our baby was thriving and his professionalism and wonderful demeanour made office visits — even the long ones — so much fun. He, Brittany and all the wonderful team made us feel like we were in the best hands (which we definitely were). Wow, where do I begin!!! Dr. Rad and his team are freaking amazing. Once I found out I was pregnant I wanted to see the doctor right away and no one would see me until I was 6 weeks. Not Dr. Rad he saw me @ 3w6d. I had a previous still born and he asked all the right questions and provided all the right care. I had 24/7 access to him and his team through our group text. Brittany, Laurice and Alysa are amazing; with me being the first patient of the rainbow clinic I definitely felt the love and care every step of the way! My delivery was a breeze and so was my postpartum. With me being high risk they made making it to the end a breeze. They care even more once the baby gets here!!!! We are family now, they are all invited to the cookout. 💕
Dr. Rad is a phenomenal physician! He is compassionate, kind, and has wonderful bedside manners. He performed ultrasounds for all my high-risk pregnancies and delivered my last baby. I have always felt confident that my babies had the best care possible. All of my concerns were addressed at my appointments and I even had my dream VBAC birth thanks to his support and delivery. I couldnt have wished for a better experience in his office or in the delivery room!His staff is just as dedicated and caring! Brittany has performed ultrasounds for two of my babies and has become somewhat of a mini Dr. Rad herself. She is thorough, efficient, and kind. Laurice is a pleasure to see first thing when stepping into the office. She has always been sure to address my administrative concerns and goes above and beyond with her assistance. Alysa is also very kind and was closely involved in my prenatal experience, ensuring I had everything scheduled and felt supported emotionally, physically and even administratively.Overall, Im beyond grateful for Dr. Rad and his team. Theyre deeply caring, and dedicated people. I recommend his services to all of my close friends and family. Dr Rad & his team are like a big family that you get wrapped up into with warm open arms, big smiles, calm demeanor’s, extensive knowledge, comfort and 24/7 care. After 5 1/2 years of trying to get pregnant naturally & 2 weeks shy of starting IVF, my husband & I found out that God gave us a gift and we were pregnant naturally! We knew we wanted to be extra careful and find the right doctor. After seeing a Doc at 9 weeks that we didn’t like, I started the late night hunt for an OBGYN in our area and came across Dr. Rad. I put in an online request and then ended up calling the next day thinking he would have the longest waiting list and/or they may be pretentious or not call back but I was mistaken! The girl who answered the phone assured me someone would call me back within 24hrs, well within 15 mins Alyssa called me back and we clicked! She got us in the very next day. After meeting Dr Rad and his team we never considered another doctor. It is night and day different than any other care I’ve ever encountered.Doctor Rad is not only an expert in his field, he’s a special person inside & out.He never stops wanting to learn, to do the best for his patients and expand his Knowledge, Practice and Care in his field. I wish more doctors would take a card from his deck & learn from him. We need more people like him in this world. He not only finds time in his busy schedule to take care of you like you’re his only patient but he finds time to mentor and teach residents. I’ve become very fond of some of them, Sally & Jen always take the best care of me, making every visit enjoyable, fun & such a good experience.Even though there were so many reasons I could of found to let my anxieties get the best of me during this pregnancy, I found solace and comfort knowing I was genuinely and thoroughly being cared for and watched out for, both myself and my baby. I feel like it was a big part of the reason I was able to have such a good, healthy pregnancy, It was such a gift and I really I loved every minute of it. Even in hard times, painful times or ones that were unknown, I felt so blessed to be experiencing the gift I so long prayed for. Even though I was high risk there were some requests I had that I was worried wouldn’t be listened to or accepted by a high risk doctor but once I finally gave in to discussing my thoughts and desires for labor, I was pleasantly relieved at the support and listening that I found in Dr Rad. He does listen & he will honor what you want as long as the baby and mom are safe & healthy. It’s not just his way or the highway, it’s a collaborative process for your desired outcome. I can’t express how much I appreciate him for that.My labor & delivery was not entirely like I had planned but it was an overall great experience and an eventful one. Dr Rad had something come up that conflicted with my original due date but we were able to work through it and he made it to the hospital to be there to deliver our beautiful baby girl. He didn’t just waltz in at the 4th quarter with 4 minutes remaining, he actually was there from when I was about 6-7cm dilated, he was hands on, very involved, and watching over the baby and me like a hawk. I had some issues with my epidural but I felt safe during the process and so grateful for him watching over us and helping advocate for me when I was in the depths of labor, knowing what was best for me and my desired outcome.I truly believe my calm & positive pregnancy led me to a strong and happy labor that has brought us a very happy, peaceful little girl. Some say how you feel, how happy, sad or angry you are during your pregnancy and labor impacts how your little one will be. I don’t know if it’s true or not but anything you can do to make most of your pregnancy even if it’s tough will impact you for the journey from inception, to labor,to postpartum. Today I’m 4 weeks postpartum and I’m still in his care as he makes sure I’m healing well, mentally healthy and our little girl is thriving. I will definitely be seeing him again if we are blessed with a 2nd baby one day.
Dr. Rad is an exceptional physician. Under the care of a different provider, my first child was born at 32 weeks gestation. She was then in the NICU for 67 days. My husband and I were concerned about the well being of our second child, but Dr. Rad has calmed our fears. He accepted me as a patient at the start of this pregnancy and has monitored me closely with visits every other week. We are expected to go full term with this pregnancy.Dr. Rads team is also great. His main assistant and sonographer, Brittany, is extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Mady, another sonographer, is helpful and holds my one-year-old daughter throughout my entire exam and keeps her happy! We are grateful for the care Dr. Rad and his team have provided and would recommend his services to anyone.

For some reason, even though I started my pregnancy as a “low risk” patient, I had a weird feeling that I wanted a doctor with more experience than most. Our journey with Dr.Rad and his amazing team started when my wife was at her 12 week and we were looking for the best doctor in California to perform the Amniocentesis. Google didnt disappoint us and we were lucky to come across Dr. Rad. The exam has its risks and we thought a lot about doing it but after a warm and friendly call with Dr. Rad we gained a lot of confidence in his skills and experience.Living in San Francisco, my wife would visit her own OBGYN clinic through the early stages of her pregnancy, and often would meet different doctors each visit. Despite being a 10 minutes call from the other side of California, Dr. Rad had let us feel that were in good hands before we even met.A few weeks later, we drove down to LA for the Amniocentesis and from that moment on we decided that we want him to be my wifes doctor. Believe it or not, but having someone like him in LA was one of the decision factors leaving San Francisco.Dr. Rad was always there for us, regardless of what time it was or what his schedule looked like. Hes on a different level of devotion and dedication to his patients and it is clear to see that he loves what hes doing. The clinic itself is beautiful, and feels more like a SPA than a clinic. Everything is decorated with flowers, candles and essential oils with classical music playing in the background. No matter how scary a first pregnancy can be, when we were there, we felt confident.The most important thing for us throughout the pregnancy was the sense of having someone there, ready to answer any question we had. With any concern we had during the pregnancy, Dr. Rad would have us come over and get my wife checked immediately. This might sound obvious if this is the first time choosing a doctor but in the SF clinic (which is considered one of the best), we were sent to E.R since they didnt have the time to check her.Dr. Rads team was absolutely amazing. Every time we came over it felt like visiting friends... Every single one of them is a real professional! Whether its Brittany with her ultrasound skills that seems as if shes been doing it for 50 years or Alyssa that was there for every single question and helped us a lot throughout the process. We will surely miss you guys and see you in the next round :)We did a lot of preparation for the delivery and participated in a few workshops, but Dr. Rad made sure that Beth, a long time midwife at Cedars Sinai, will come over and walk us through the process. We wouldnt exaggerate if we said that after speaking to her, we felt like it was our second time around.Our first baby boy was delivered by Dr. Rad smoothly without any issues and surprises. The entire team was very supportive and respectful to my wifes requests. We couldnt be happier to have chosen Dr. Steve Rad, his stellar team and the amazing staff at Cedars Sinai.
I am not normally someone to write reviews, however it is important for women to know that Dr Rad and this type of medical care exists. If you have been searching for an OB who is smart, compassionate, kind, respectful to you and your partner, spends time and makes you feel SAFE then Dr Rad is the doctor for you. It does not matter if your pregnancy journey is high or low risk. Physically, I had a low risk, mostly uncomplicated pregnancy with my second baby but mentally, I was carrying a lot of medical and hospital trauma from my first birth and wanted specialized care this time around. Dr Rad listened to me and my husband, created a plan with us that included hybrid midwifery care/minimal interventions and he gave us access to him as if I was always his top priority for my entire pregnancy and postpartum period. When things changed at the end of my pregnancy and I required a hospital birth instead of the unmediated VBAC I was pursuing Dr Rad still honored my wishes and was by my side or one text/call away every step of the way. His delivery of our beautiful baby girl at Providence St John’s gave us a night and day experience compared to the birth of my first child with a different OB at Cedars Sinai. His accessibility and referrals during postpartum assured me that my life and well-being truly matter to him. As a black woman, it is rare to feel cared for in this way by any medical provider. While the out of pocket costs for Dr Rad’s services are initially difficult to stomach, they are well worth it and I don’t regret anything when it comes to choosing Dr Rad.

I came to Dr. Rad with a history of blood clots which made my pregnancy high risk. Since day one, Dr. Rad and his team were so welcoming and really nice- Always answering our questions, explaining everything on each ultrasound and check-up.They consistently checked up on us each week to see how we were doing and when we needed guidance or had a concern, Dr. Rad always called right away.I’m so happy we decided to put my pregnancy care in the hands of Dr. Rad and his team.
Dr Rad and his staff are wonderful. They were such a positive part of our parenthood journey. Being first-time parents, we had lots of questions and Dr Rad and his staff always thoroughly explained everything to us. While the wait is sometimes long, we found it was always because Dr Rad was managing an emergency situation or delivering difficult news to a patient, which understandably, was his first priority. The staff also always communicated proactively with us about wait-time so we knew what was going on. I joked on our last visit that I’m going to have to have another baby just so we can all hang out more :)
Dr. Rad is truly a 5 star doctor.He provided us with exceptional care during for both of my pregnancies.Because I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I feared a remission that wouldnt allow me to deliver without increased medical intervention. Dr.Rad assured me this wasnt necessarily the case and honored my requests to deliver naturally for both of my pregnancies. He is teamed with an exceptional anesthesiologist that prevented me from feeling almost any pain during delivery. Dr.Rad went out of his way to answer all my in depth questions and even came after birth to check on me.He was available after business hours to make sure all my concerns were properly addressed. He allowed me to deliver naturally without going into remission which was a blessing because it allowed me to be fully present to take care of my daughter after birth. He also has a very caring office team that will make you feel welcomed and cared for. I am extremely lucky to have met him and will be forever grateful for successfully having him deliver the most precious gifts in my life.
I cannot find words to express my gratitude to the best Doctor and the kindest person Steve Rad. My baby girl is alive because of him. The story is that during my pregnancy I was seeing another doctor in UCLA. At the 20th week of my pregnancy I went for the ultrasound and after the procedure without doing any other examination the doctor said that the baby has some developmental issues. There is some liquid in the brain, the chest is growing wrong, etc. I was terrified with the news and asked is there a chance that he is wrong, maybe we need to do other examinations, maybe he hasn’t seen everything right. To all that questions “doctor” answered that we can do MRI and other exams, but he is more than sure that the baby is growing wrong and he suggests to do an abortion. He said that the results will come in a month or two but the latest abortion date is 23 weeks, so we need to hurry with out decision. Before making decision we decided to find the best specialist in high risk pregnancy for the second opinion. After some research we found Dr. Rad and that changed our lives. After the first ultrasound Dr. Rad said that he doesn’t see anything wrong, that he is more than sure that baby is okay, and the MRI will proof his words. He told do not even think about abortion, because the baby is 100% fine. Like he said the MRI results proved his words.The second thing I would like to mention is the exceptional service that he provides to all his patients. When I found out that he has many famous patients I was worried weather he is providing the same service to his regular patients or not. The answer surprised me. He treats all his patients like they are his one and only patient. Usually appointments with Dr. Rad last approximately two hours. He needs to be sure that he has seen everything, answered to all your questions. He is one of the few professionals who is worried about quality of his work not quantity of the patients. Also, he is available on phone whenever you need him. He replied to my text messages within maximum 5 minutes during my whole pregnancy. Also I.would like to say thank you to his amazing team. You are absolutely The Best!
I was an intern at Dr. Rads office. This internship gave me a valuable opportunity to learn so much!Dr. Rad is very detailed and thorough with his exams, and he really takes his time with all his patients to give them the best care possible. They have an excellent sonographer, Brittany, who is also very meticulous, and she is great at what she does. The entire team is genuinely kind and caring. This is a calm, safe place to receive medical care, and everyone is attentive and knowledgeable. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dr. Rads office!They go above and beyond for every patient; they truly love what they do!

I feel so happy to have been able to visit Dr. Rad, after being told by another high risk pregnancy doctor that my baby had NO kidneys or bladder and would not survive, Dr. Rad found bladder and both kidneys! My baby I knew always had a chance and I did not believe the 1st specialist at all which is why I went for a second opinion with Dr. Rad. 10/10 he was welcoming, supportive, friendly and gave me all my options going forward. God sent!

They are kind, empathetic, professional, and make my visits as comfortable as possible.I had a few health complications postpartum after a challenging but healthy and safe birth and Dr Rad was there every step of the way for the five months it took me to return to “normal”. I came to Dr Rad after a miscarriage and he made sure to help me get through my pregnancy safe and sound. The staff is very loving and professional, the office is very clean and welcoming. I love that I got to see how my little one was growing at least once every 3 weeks, and Dr Rad always asure me that I could reach out any time I needed to. My delivery went smoothly and thanks to his care, I had a tiny tear that healed a few weeks later.
If you know Dr. Rad, you know he has the best bedside manner.He is so detailed and really takes the time with his patients and takes the time to check out every detail of our babies on ultrasound. He has very advanced technology and it’s the best thing getting to see every detail of your little one(s) before they actually arrive.He really goes into detail answering any and every question you have. I felt like family and felt completely taken care of throughout my whole pregnancy which Dr. Rad monitored. Most importantly, I felt that me and my baby were safe.I’ll never forget how Dr. Rad showed up to my hospital room after delivery to check on me and baby…it was late and I could tell he just finished a long day of work at his office. Any other doctor would have went home, but he came over to the hospital just to say hello and check on us. Even to this day, his staff still checks in on us. It’s the sweetest thing ever!Everything he made me aware of during my pregnancy came out to be true- and he caught everything weeks maybe even months in advance. He truly is a miracle doctor!!! So thankful for everything he did for us!
Dr. Rad is one of the top perinatologist around and is very caring and intelligent. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and family. We became patients of Dr. Rad when we were 9 weeks pregnant with our baby girl and were having a lot of complications. He saw us right away even though it was late. Dr Rad does his best to accommodate our busy work schedules, and we have a lot of appointments with him. He does a great job coordinating with all the other doctors on our team and is highly respected by all the other doctors. Dr. Rad takes his time and asks all the important questions in order to get a complete medical history. Throughout this very complicated high risk pregnancy, he has been been one step ahead of the game and always told us what to expect next. We always felt comfortable and in very good hands. Without Dr. Rad, I dont know if our little girl would be a full term healthy baby. We are so lucky to have one of the top perinatologist as one of our doctors.
Dr Rad is a fantastic doctor. Not only is he one of the best in his field, but he truly cares about each and every one of his patients. I saw him before the birth of my first child, my OB sent me to see him to check the baby’s weight and size. Dr Rad not only visited me in the hospital before my induction, but made sure the nurses and residents took good care of me. I saw him again for my second child, this time I was visiting him weekly to monitor the baby’s weight for about 2 months. And even though his practice has grown and he is very busy now, he still makes sure to have enough time with each patient and he always made sure my baby was doing well and I was taken care of. I know I’m in good hands with Dr Rad and that kind of trust and caring from a doctor is invaluable.
Dr.Rad was my first call when I found out I was pregnant with quads! He has a calm and confident demeanor but underneath that, he’s calculating every single potential complication and making sure to prevent it. Best staff too. Money well spent!

When we came for our 20 week check up, Dr Rad was going over the imaging and discovered a rare heart condition in our Baby and immediately sent us to the hospital and made the connection with one for the best fetal cardiologist at cedars. Dr rad would visit my wife every week while she was on bed rest at the hospital. The care we got felt like we were his only client. So patient. So caring and so loving. Really held our hands throughout a scary period in our lives and our pregnancy journey.We delivered a beautiful healthy baby boy and we just passed his first birthday! We love Dr. Rad and his whole team and will forever be grateful.
I dont even know where to begin, It all started in 2015 I met Dr. Rad as I was suffering with complications due to having multiple fibroids. I had a successful myomectomy at Cedar Sinai. I cant say it enough Dr. Rad saved my life, and gave me the courage to move forward with hopes of having a child whenever I was ready, we remained near and dear and when problems arose again and yearly exams, I knew he would be always be there for me. Like he did before, again in 2023 I had to have the same surgery with more aggressive fibroids and a hysterectomy was in sight, after much patience, care, and concern Dr. Rad yet again restored my faith in having a child and brought me back to life. I am forever and ever grateful to Dr. Rad and his team of amazing women. The personal bond and dedicated care he has established with me from the beginning has never wavered. Dr. Rad is an excellent doctor who I highly recommend. I saw Dr. Rad for the majority of my pregnancy - He is very detailed and honest and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout. Whenever I had any concerns he would call me back immediately and would always make himself available. This is the type of doctor you need because pregnancy can be stressful at times but he did an incredible job keeping me at ease. He cares about his patients and takes the time to do each of his scans very throughly - he doesn’t rush you and will always make sure he gets all your measurements and answers any questions before you leave his office.

We had one precious embryo that we finally were able to get pregnant with. Dr. Rad understood the importance of monitoring my high risk pregnancy and how precious this baby is. We’re incredibly grateful to Dr. Rad and the team for the delivery of our beautiful baby girl. He was the third Dr. we tried. Our first doctor didn’t believe we were ACTUALLY pregnant because she couldn’t see the baby due to fibroids, the second doctor casually told us that there most likely would be complications. BUT from the moment we met Dr. Rad and his team we were put at ease due to their knowledge, experience, care and kindness. Our hands were held throughout the process. We had full access to Dr. Rad and team around the clock, also we were seen at our appointment time, no waiting for an hour because of poor scheduling etc. on the day of our C-Section Dr.Rad explained everything and took care of us. No question on our end was silly or brushed off. Durning the surgery Dr. Rad and the team kept me and my husband at ease and told us what was happening every step of the way. Once our baby girl was delivered the care didn’t stop there. Dr. Rad came to our room daily to check on us. Even after we were checked out and I needed to go back into hospital due to swelling, Dr Rad made sure I was seen quickly in ER and then sent team members to check in on us and was on the phone walking us through what was happening. The point is that Dr. Rad and the team are specialist at high risk pregnancies. They’re kind, caring and will do what needs to be done for you and your family. We highly recommend them. Dr. Rad is really a caring and detailed doctor. After one of my ultrasounds we called his office to make an appointment to investigate further. He took his time and meticulously checked everything out only to assure us everything was ok. His follow up and care is unparalleled!
At my first 6 week ultrasound I was seeing another OBGYN at the time when I learned I had 3 fibroids that were the sizes of 4, 3, 3 cm. I wasn’t really sure what that meant for my pregnancy until I reached about 12 weeks and I was experiencing excruciating pain. I went to my OB at the time and when he confirmed it was my fibroids that were causing the pain, I could see the fear in his eyes when he let me know I was high risk and referred me to a high risk doctor that wasn’t available for weeks. I did some research and I found Dr. Rad and they were able to get me in right away. He made sure I understood what my fibroids were, why they were causing me pain (one of them doubled in size since my first ultrasound) the risk factors, and where they were placed. He closely monitored my cervix to make sure the fibroids were not causing me to go into labor early and made sure I felt comfortable with pain management options throughout the fibroid degeneration process. He actually cared about my condition and wanted the ultimate best for me. Dr. Rad has excellent bedside manner and for the first time in all of my years of OB care I felt like a person and not a number. I was able to talk to him at anytime with questions or concerns which is something I never had the privilege of. When I reached 37 weeks of pregnancy, my baby wasn’t moving as much and Dr. Rad made sure I went to L&D in which it was decided my baby was in distress and ultimately made the decision it was time to birth my baby to safety. I highly recommend Dr. Rad and his team. During my recovery in the hospital a nurse overhead my conversation with Dr. Rad and was shocked to find out he was just my doctor and not a longtime friend. That’s the type of doctor you want. One that cares and makes you feel safe with your life in their hands. That’s what you get with Dr. Rad! I cannot thank Dr. Rad and his team enough for getting my baby boy here safely.
Talk about Doctor Rad is easy for us.at the end of my pregnancy he became a friend of ours.I can say that I saw Dr. Rad way more times than my gynecologist during pregnancy. There are not enough accolades to give Dr. Rad and his staff. My daughter was considered very high risk because she has systemic lupus and had an extreme case of hyperemesis gravidarum. Dr. Rad not only helped her with the severe symptoms but guided and monitored her throughout the entire pregnancy. Knowing that we were able to reach him via cell phone was comforting beyond words. Once Dr. Rad took over my daughter’s care, I was able to finally relax and enjoy the prospect of being a grandmother to a baby girl. Any condition that my daughter developed along the way, Dr. Rad kept a close eye on it, increased her office visits and just anticipated any problems before they could arise. My daughter ended up having a cesarean section. Because of Dr. Rad’s expertise, my daughter’s recovery was extremely easy. My daughter would never think of having anyone care for her through any future pregnancies but Dr. Rad. I will always be eternally grateful to Dr. Rad for everything he did. He is a very special doctor and human being! I would give him more than five stars if that was possible. I think that says it all.

Wow what can I say honestly Dr Rad and his team made my entire pregnancy such a beautiful experience. Like so many new moms, I had so many questions and so many fears. I was so afraid of the journey I was about to embark on, but Dr. Rad really created such a safe and calming environment for me and my bundle of joy. His entire staff was so sweet. Honestly, I could call Dr. Rad at any time with any question and he would always be available for me, really I’m not just saying that I would literally call him at 1am and he was always available, to be honest anytime I needed a question answered I picked up the phone and called him lol. He made me feel like he was going to be with us every step of the way and he was, he is so attentive and always called to check on me. Also I had so many fears for my baby, I just wanted her to be healthy and I knew that was also Dr Rad priority, he never took any chances and always made sure that the babies health came first. He absolutely went above and beyond what I expected, he went as far as picking up my medication for nausea from the pharmacy and personally delivering it to my house just to make sure I was ok, I mean come on can it get any better? I delivered my daughter on 6/22/21 it took me a while to write this review because my gratitude for Dr Rad and his team is more than I could ever put into words or a small review. She is so perfect and we are forever grateful to Dr Rad and his team he will always be a part of our family. Can’t wait to go thru this journey with Dr Rad on baby #2 there is literally no other doctor I would recommend but him and his team.
Dr. Rad was our perinatologist for both of our pregnancies. Our first daughter was diagnosed with a cleft lip, and our second was IUGR for quite a while before she finally caught up in her growth. Both times couldve been quite an anxious time for us, but Dr. Rad was very warm and reassuring, while at the same time knowledgeable/realistic about what to expect. He was very receptive to whatever questions we asked and answered our many questions patiently. I loved that no matter how behind schedule they were with patients, it never felt like Dr. Rad was trying to rush through us. He always took the time to check and double-check everything out on his own, regardless of time constraints. There were a few times that he was even willing to be in the office on a weekend for his patients. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients and is doing his best with whatever task at hand. Because of our experience with him the first time, we were willing to drive out an hour to his office when I was pregnant the second time around. His staff were all very kind and very helpful as well. The only negative is that given his detailed attention to each patient, even with appointment, the wait time can be quite long. So bring a book or something to do while waiting. Hes worth the wait, though! Thank you Dr. Rad for all the care youve shown our family!
I was fortune enough to find Dr Rad the day I found out I was pregnant and I’m so thankful I did. Moving back to a country in Europe where laws and medical care look completely different can be really scary and stressful, so he made sure everything was in order in only a short space of 3 months. He was always just a phone call or text away - even if this meant middle of the night!! Him and his team are the most caring, kind and passionate people I have ever met.Although my pregnancy wasn’t classed as high risk, it was still a complete shock as I haven’t been ovulating for years due to PCOS,Dr Rad and his team ran all the tests straight away and prescribed me everything I needed to keep the pregnancy going while monitoring me every week and observing with real detail at my scans! I’m due to my baby girl in 3 weeks and this pregnancy has been truly amazing thanks to him and his amazing team 💞
Dr. Rad is an amazing doctor high risk pregnancy doctor and fetal ultrasound specialist for complicated pregnancies. He is compassionate, very intelligent, kind, and made me feel comfortable. He is very detailed and takes his time performing ultrasound. Dr. Rad spend more than 1 HOUR with me... I never experienced that before since he is a special concierge doctor and he really cares about his patients. He made sure all sure of my questions were answered and I had all my follow up taken care of. He is one of the BEST PREGNANCY DOCTORS and I feel grateful for his care! Thank you again Dr. Rad!!!
Can’t say enough about Dr. Rad. He truly cares about his patients and takes his time. He got us through some really scary times during my pregnancy and was available when we needed him. His wait time is minimal, his staff is super sweet and we can’t wait to go back to him for baby number 2. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great OB or high risk specialist!
We first met with Dr. Rad after an awful appointment with another perinatologist. Everything from bedside manner to a rushed diagnosis and treatment plan (or lack thereof) was wrong with the other doctor. I called Dr. Rad’s office and we were able to get in very quickly for a late evening appointment. Where the other doctor spent 10 minutes with us and told us to terminate without explaining what was happening, Dr. Rad and his staff were with us for almost 3 hours. He diagnosed our baby with severe early onset IUGR with absent diastolic flow in the umbilical artery at 19 weeks. We left with a much better understanding of what was happening and what the possible outcomes were and didn’t feel pressured to act in any which way immediately.When we got pregnant again, we immediately called Dr. Rad’s office. Since we no longer trusted our original OBGYN, we decided to have Dr. Rad treat me for the duration of my pregnancy. We were armed with a further diagnosis of elevated Factor VIII levels at this point. Dr. Rad worked directly with my reproductive endocrinologist and hematologist to come up with an aggressive treatment plan to ensure our baby’s safe arrival after the loss we had experienced. And by “worked directly with” I mean he would call them in the middle of our appointments if he wanted to consult with them rather than take a week to call them on his own time. This not only ensured my treatment was always what it needed to be but that I was also involved in my treatment plan. We also had biweekly monitoring and growth scan appointments, sometimes more often because of my own anxiety. Dr. Rad and his staff never made me feel like I was unwelcome or a burden. Every appointment was thorough and he was incredibly proactive. For example, he set me up with a cardiologist because of my history and my gestational hypertension and also made sure I had a fetal echo as IVF can increase the chance of heart abnormalities.Because of my medical history, we opted for a scheduled c-section. When my blood pressure began to creep up, he advised me to come in sooner than we expected. He was my advocate throughout the process, especially when the hospital itself was trying to prevent me from delivering and putting my baby and myself in danger. The c-section went very smoothly and Dr. Rad did a fantastic job with engaging with me and my husband during the process, making sure we were ready for the moment where we would finally meet our son and taking great care in closing me up afterwards. He followed up numerous times while I was in the hospital and when we were home with both me and my son.We owe so much to Dr. Rad and credit him with the safe arrival of our son. I can’t imagine having gone with another provider and if I am ever pregnant again, we will go back.
Dr. Rad is an INCREDIBLE and amazing high risk pregnancy and fetal ultrasound doctor!! He is professional, compassionate, very knowledgeable and caring. I had a high risk pregnancy and came to the US for my delivery. My baby was not growing it had growth restriction and had a kidney abnormality. Also I had high blood pressure. I was referred to Dr Rad for second opinion and he was able to see me the same day and help put me at ease. He called me back himself to arrange the appointment; I have never had a Dr personally call me. His office is comfortable and peaceful, very private. He made us feel very welcome like family. He read our records and has interpreter since they were in a different language and his office is tailored for international patients. His ultrasound was very detailed. He is extremely careful and takes his time to double triple check EVERYTHING! We could see everything on his big screen including 4D pictures and he explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable.His ultrasound and anatomy knowledge and skills are amazing. He specializes in fetal abnormalities. He is young but genius. He even did international video conference with my mother and answered all her questions!! He made follow up appointments for us and gave us his cell phone number. We had to see him a lot and he even came in on the weekend. He saved me and my baby and made sure I stayed pregnant as long as possible. At the end my blood pressure became high and the baby was not growing more. My baby was born exact weight the doctor said and he was correct in the diagnosis. We are forever thankful to Dr Rad and highly recommend him to everyone!!!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rad during my pregnancy. I was initially referred to him by my OB-GYN for anatomy scans because I was of advanced maternal age. Dr. Rad caught a very rare complication I had called vasa previa, which can be deadly to a baby if not diagnosed prenatally. Of course, I was terrified after receiving this diagnosis, but Dr. Rad put me and my husband at ease (as much as humanly possible). He followed my pregnancy closely, and got me through the beginning of my third trimester when I was scheduled to be hospitalized until delivery. I spent five weeks in the hospital waiting to deliver, and during that time, Dr. Rad came to see me regularly for monitoring, always reassuring me that things were progressing as best they could. Finally, when it came time to deliver, he was well prepared, making sure everyone in the delivery room knew about the vasa previa diagnosis so they could be ready for any complications that might arise. The delivery went well, thanks to Dr. Rad. Without his help, I may have never been able to bring my son home, who is now three months old and perfect! The one thing every prospective patient should know about Dr. Rad is that he works tirelessly at all hours to ensure the best care for his patients. I never felt rushed, and even when he didnt have openings during regular daytime hours, he still fit me into his schedule. In fact, I had my 20-week scan done on a Saturday evening in his office. I highly recommend Dr. Rad!
Dr. Rad was the most amazing doctor around. My situation was a little different then the regular issues that send women to a high risk gynecologist. In most cases there is a problem with the baby or with the mother pertaining to the pregnancy. In my case there was something wrong with me and no doctor was able to figure out what the problem was. At that point I was in my 9th week of my 5th pregnancy. After I came to Dr. Rad, he took control of my case sending me to as many specialists that it took to get to the bottom of my health issues. He made sure he was in contact with all of my doctors and the situation. He calmed us and reassured us that he was doing everything he could to get to the bottom of things. He gave us his number so we were able to be in contact with him whenever we had a problem. In week 12 of my pregnancy the doctors found a meningioma, (non cancerous tumor in my brain) that was pressing on the nerves connected to my left eye. At that point I had almost lost all my vision in my left eye and the doctors were afraid that it would grow and affect my right eye. Normally when there is a brain tumor found the patient is rushed to surgery but since I was pregnant this brought up a whole slew of issues. Namely how safe was it for the baby if the mother has such a complicated surgery. Throughout the ordeal Dr. Rad calmed us, researched for us and basically made sure we understood everything that was going on. He made sure we knew until what date it was potentially safest to go under. After we decided on surgery., he spoke to the surgeon, made sure that the baby was monitored the entire time, before and after. He even sat in on my 7 hour surgery just so I should feel calm about the safety of my baby. During my hospital stay, he came everyday to see how I was doing and he brought an ultrasound up to my floor so we ccould see that my baby was doing OK. He didnt drop me after the surgery. He continued seeing me and helping me. And when my blood pressure became high he helped me keep it under control and help me push my birth as long as possible.Even though my surgery was 2 years ago and my baby is already 1½. I still thank God and Dr. Rad everyday and every time I play with and hug my little baby boy, my little miracle.I highly recommend Dr. Rad, and if I will have another child I will go to him again.I want to give a special thank you to the wonderful, and amazing staff in the office. From the moment I stepped into the office until I left I felt their warm and welcoming feelings assuring me that I came to the right place. Thank you for everything.
Dr. Rad is truly the best! He is the most patient, thorough doctor I’ve ever met. He helped us safely through a high-risk IUGR pregnancy. He made the time for extra appointments (even on the weekends) to make sure we were monitoring the situation and making smart choices. He was always available and quick to respond to texts. And during appointments, he took the time to answer every question and never made us feel rushed. We thank him for making sure our baby girl got here safely! Dr Rad is an amazing high risk pregnancy perinatologist internationally, and best in ultrasound. We were diagnosed with a very rare fetal heart defect in Israel. We asked Dr Rad for a second opinion and he was able to actually review everything and give us the correct diagnosis here. We were going to do a pregnancy termination, but because he gave us a correct diagnosis, we did not terminate the pregnancy. Today, because of Dr Rad, the baby was born healthy and alive today in Israel and we couldn’t be more blessed. Thanks to Dr Rad, he saved our baby. He is internationally known for his expertise in fetal ultrasound and we are so grateful for him. We send him many blessings today.

They care about you and make sure you have everything you need. We came to visit Dr. Rad referred to me by my OBGYN for a special test regarding our babys health. Later we kept visiting him because of my high risk pregnancy and my gestational diabetes diagnosis. I had tons of questions spinning around in my head because it is my first pregnancy but Dr. Rad has the all patience to answer each one and he made me feel comfortable every appointment. His team is just sweet, the nurse, the receptionist, everyone always made me feel comfortable and safe. Im really, deeply grateful with him and the office for all of their help and for helping me take care of my baby. If you visit him, dont forget to ask about the teddy bear with your babys heartbeat and the 3D glasses with your ultrasound, I ordered it and was the best gift for my mom (who lives in South America) and for my mother in law. It is a special way to make them be part of this process and at the same time you can help the Nirvana foundation. I have loved every aspect of my experiences so far at Dr. Rads office. His staff is great, he is extremely thorough and it is abundantly obvious that he cares for his patients. Dr. Rad and his entire staff has been wonderful throughout my entire 39 weeks of pregnancy! Dr. Rad was very detailed and made sure that he answered any questions that we had! Thank you Dr. Rad and team for helping me through my pregnancy after loss. Our son was stillborn May 2021 at 37 weeks due to a knot in his umbilical cord. We were referred to Dr. Rad through PUSH for Empowered Pregnanxy. We met with him a couple of months after our loss to discuss the plan for PAL to make sure it would be the right fit. Once we found out we were pregnant, I called him immediately and he saw me that week. The journey was long and the team was there every step of the way. PAL is full of anxiety and never knowing if your baby is going to make it. I came in weekly and no one ever made me feel bad for wanting to check on my baby. In our third trimester, we found out our baby had an ovarian cyst and Dr. rad knew this would cause us some anxiety even though most likely benign and suggested us to get an MRI for peace of mind. As we approached induction date, I noticed a dip in fetal movement. I was admitted to the hospital with the support of Dr. rad for five days before induction to monitor the baby. She came out perfect and we couldn’t believe it. Thank you Dr rad and team for all your work. You work nonstop for your patients!
Dr. Rad is literally the best!!! He doesn’t rush with his patients or cut corners. He only wants to ensure the best for you and baby. My little guy was especially stubborn during the anatomy scan and pretty much every other scan too! But instead of saying he can’t get a good scan of the four chambers of the heart, Dr. Rad kept at it until he was certain my little guy was ok. Office is always clean and welcoming and the staff is so caring. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t do this journey with anyone other than Dr. Rad. My little guy is a happy and healthy 6 month old!

Dr. Rad is one of the best and also the most responsible doctor I have ever met. I was pregnant with MODI twins, with all sorts of complications along the way. Dr. Rad has followed up with me tightly throughout every step, and provided me detailed ultrasound and treatment every time. He stayed late for patients, no matter on weekdays or even weekends. I can always reach him and count on him whenever I had concerns, questions or need any medical help. He had great judgement, but still incredibly open to hear my own voice, in order to make the best decision for me. Under his excellent care, I managed to overcame all the difficulties, even prolonged my pregnancy, and finally had two beautiful boys. He feels like a friend, and an angel of my family.
I found Dr Rad through my Midwife, He was the only OB I could find that I felt supported by with my decision to have a homebirth. He is a doctor who empowers the mother and I so appreciated that. I had a high risk pregnancy with asymmetrical IUGR and was doing weekly ultrasounds with DR. Rad.He and his staff are incredibly kind and explanatory, I never felt rushed. My homebirth did not go as planned and I ended up needing a C-section. I am so grateful that Dr. Rad was able to preform the surgery and support me postpartum. Dr.Rad and team were incredible. His office staff is top notch and so friendly and welcoming. I was seeing Dr.Rad with my second pregnancy with hopes to have a v-bac and was successful! I was at risk with preeclampsia that I had with my first baby. He always took the time to answer all my questions and was very thorough. At my birth i suffered a hemorrhage and he worked swiftly to make sure nothing became worse in what was already a scary situation. I thank him and his team for everything they did!
Absolutely the most amazing doctor in High risk! I was diagnosed with placenta previa with my first pregnancy, so my OB Dr Aliabadi set up regular visits with Dr. Rad for ultrasounds. He spent a great deal of time making sure to check every element of the baby’s health. By the time we had our second baby, we were like bffs with Dr Rad lol. He has an amazing and kind bedside manner. During a routine check up he discovered I had IUGR and the cord was having issues. He immediately took action to get me hospital care, and would visit daily to check in- he even flew back from a conference to check my blood flow personally and rushed to help deliver my second the next morning with my OB. I saw Dr rad more than myRegular OB on that pregnancy! Can’t recommend this team enough they are truly something special.
Dr. Rad is without a doubt the best MFM out there. As a CBD College sonography student under his guidance, I see firsthand how much he genuinely cares about each and every one of his patients. He and Brittany are incredibly knowledgeable and they have taught me so much information that I will continue to utilize for the rest of my career. Because of their guidance and support, I was able to pass the ARDMS OBGYN exam on my first attempt with only 4 months of experience under my belt.Dr. Rad is a fantastic doctor, and when I have kids I want him as my MFM. Doctor Rad is a great doctor ! I had problem with my sugar during pregnancy 🤰 and he met me every week to help control it! He spent with me so much time to make sure everything is looks good and I felt so safety 👌🏻 He answered all my questions and gave me advises.Overall he took picture of my baby in the womb that I saw my baby face so early 😇He is very kind, he paid attention to every detail, he is great professional with big heart and humor !I would recommend him 100% !

If you are considering setting up an appointment with Dr. Rad, just do it! We came across Dr. Rad during a very scary time in my pregnancy and during a time we quickly needed answers. On Dec. 21st I received the news that my baby had some measurements that had a possible indication for Spina Bifida. The following day I went in for another ultrasound at my clinic and on Dec. 23 OBGYN let me know that everything was normal and it could have been something that was there and with time went away. I was not going to be able to see the clinics specialist until Jan. 14.My husband and I felt like we needed a second opinion and had so many questions we needed answered. We knew it would be difficult considering all the holidays were around the corner. My husband found Dr. Rad online and for that moment I am forever grateful. I contacted his office around 5pm and received a call by that night. Dr. Rad was kind enough to see us on CHRISTMAS DAY! Yes, on CHRISTMAS DAY!Dr. Rad is extremely thorough during his ultrasounds and considering our scary situation that is exactly what we needed. He let us know that our baby was not measuring with any indications for Spina Bifida and went on to patiently answer all of our questions. The moment he shared the news with us my heart was overfilled with joy and I was overwhelmed with emotion. I am so grateful we decided to see him and he was gracious enough to quickly fit us in on a holiday.He encouraged us to still keep our appointment for Jan. 14th with our other specialist and to return to him as a follow up. I recommend Dr Rad !!! He was the absolute best. If it wasn’t for him and his concerns towards my child and myself not sure if delivery would have turned out so smooth. As a type 1 diabetic I would refer family and friends to Dr.Rad (already done so :D ). Just a little preview of how awesome Dr Rad was ... my fluid was elevated due to my diabetes and he made it possible to see him twice weekly to check on my little guy. Aside to that I am also thankful for him because of those weekly check ups he caught my preeclampsia early and I am now enjoying my healthy 4 month old baby !
Doctor Rad saved my and my babys lives. He is super patient and caring. I am a type-1 diabetic and was risking for preeclampsia. Dr. Rad worked with my diabetic doctor and ob-gyn to keep me healthy during the pregnancy. He took my emergency phone calls at the weekends and late nights, and he came to visit me at 5AM when I was hospitalized. He is always confident and knowledgable, which helped me to stay calm and focus on taking care of myself. I really appreciate his help.
Dr. Rad is an excellent Medical Doctor & professor . I’ve worked with Dr. Rad for a couple years now along with many other doctors but I must confess if I had to choose top 3 docs , Doctor R would def be one. I just truly admire him not only as a MD but as a human being . Sometimes when we are involved in the medicine field we get so caught up and forget about humanity itself & Dr. Rad is someone who tries to put himself in the patients shoes . (SUPER HUMBLE ) - He is very thorough , honest and extremely kind . He makes you feel super comfortable throughout the whole pregnancy .Whenever patients have any concerns he is literally one call away , he makes himself available at all time & if not available at the moment he will always get back at you. We all know pregnancy can be a phase of a lot of anxiety , but Dr. R cares about his patients and takes the time to perform each of his scans very throughly - he doesn’t rush and will always make sure he gets all your measurements and answers any questions before you leave his office.As a student everything is very Similar , he is an amazing teacher , I am truly blessed and grateful being able to be trained along with him and other two great MFMs. He has all the patience on earth & he has a passion for medicine and teaching therefore he does everything will extra will.
I honestly only have good things to say about Dr. Rad and his staff. I first came to Dr. rad office when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was really unhappy with a prior perinatologist so reached out to Dr. Rad and his office to see if they could see me. I was around 26 weeks or so when I first came into the office. I had an IVF pregnancy which already made me high-risk, but I also was diagnosed with placenta previa and had a placental abruption around 13 weeks which caused some bleeding. My pregnancy was extremely sensitive and Dr. Rad made me feel extremely comfortable and helped me to put my mind a little more at ease throughout the rest of my pregnancy. He spent so much time explaining every single detail to me and never made me feel like I was being rushed or was asking a silly question. Additionally, his explanations were very thorough and he made sure that whatever steps we took throughout my pregnancy that I felt comfortable and reassured. I ended up in the hospital at 32 weeks for more bleeding due to my abruption and remained there until I gave birth via emergency c-section at 35.5 weeks. Dr. Rad continued to check in and follow my pregnancy and even came to the hospital to do ultrasounds and monitor my pregnancy. I made sure to let him know that I will be back for my next pregnancy. He is honestly so fantastic and I have recommended him to all of my pregnant friends!
Best doctor in the world and I’m not exaggerating! I switched towards the end of my pregnancy due to personal reasons and I researched different docs and with my cousin’s recommendation, I found Dr Rad ! He is truly the most caring, loving, teddy bear of a doctor !!! And he truly does amazing work!! This delivery was not comparable to my last one ! I mean I was so scared because of my first experience but I can’t believe how well and smooth it went ! If you are considering an OBGYN don’t think twice! Dr Rad is by far the best OBGYN in L.A.I don’t usually write reviews but I think this is an important recommendation for pregnant women around.I visited a few “star” doctors in L.A before choosing him and I can’t even start to compare the experience!We had a few complications with the pregnancy and Dr Rad was extremely patient throughout the whole 9 months.First of all, he has the most important quality any good doctor has: A good sense of humor and the ability to keep you calm in time of need!! He helped us get through very tough moments in the most positive way!He always answered all of my questions with care without making me feel absurd. And he even made sure to help with our insurance so we wouldn’t be overcharged for nothing !His professional expertise is remarkable and he enabled us to make the best informed decisions possible.He always made sure to spent extra time in every ultrasound to make sure the baby was perfectly fine !He is the kind of doctor that actually cares about his clients and will do anything possible to make sure you deliver a healthy baby .I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better doctor ! He always called and texted to make sure everything was o.k! And really felt like family at times of need !We couldn’t have done it without him. From the first appointment to the very last, they were supportive, informative and handled my pregnancy with the absolute utmost care. Hi My name is Maryam. I found doctor Rad in the middle of crisis, where my insurance was not approving an important genetic ultrasound and my doctors were no accepting self pay for the same ultrasound. I was willing to pay by cash but no one was helping me.Dr. Rad saved me and my husband on the last minute. He admitted me on the same day I called and he stayed till 11 pm to finish my ultrasound. He was very detailed and kind to us. His assitance was very sweet too.I cant thank him enough for saving me and my baby.
Short version - Dr Rad is the best doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, my twin babies and I are safe, healthy and happy in no small part due to him and his care. Choose him!Long version - Why do I feel this way? I came to Doc very early in a twin pregnancy post IVF, with one twin being a lot smaller and slower to grow than the other - at risk for ‘vanishing twin’. There’s nothing to do but wait until 12 weeks and see if our little baby B caught up. Typically you don’t start doing OB visits until this time, but Doc could see I was so worried and reassured me by scanning them with his hi tech amazing ultrasound and talking me through all of the things to expect calmly and optimistically, it helped that he had recently become Dad to twins too! He knows how it feels.He called me to check on how I was and make sure I was relaxing and staying positive in the weeks to follow - before I had actually signed up as a patient - he is genuine and it really comes across. He remembers thoughtful details and knows the importance of a calm and reassured Momma to be.My second trimester was a breeze, scans were always thorough and something we looked forward to. Brittany does scans alongside Dr Rad and is absolutely wonderful at it, Alysa and Laurice keep the place running and are always a pleasure to spend time with and ALWAYS there day or night when you need anything.My third trimester things got a little more interesting, I developed a constant headache, increasingly high / erratic blood pressure, swelling and was seeing ‘floaters’ in my vision - all signs of preeclampsia - but there was an absence of protein in the labs which would confirm it. Over the weeks we kept a very close eye on the situation as it can be cause for emergency delivery, the question is when. I was being closely monitored and the labs were pretty consistent, so we waited and watched over the coming weeks. 35 weeks and 4 days I get a call from Doc on the weekend saying lets chat, your case is on my mind and I have a feeling you should come in and run labs first thing in the morning. Being big and swollen and tired I said really? Can’t I come in in a few days when I have my appointment? (I like to negotiate as doc knows 😅) and he calmly and firmly said Shannon please come in and get checked, my gut is telling me it’s the right thing. I respected this and agreed.The next day my headache was worse than ever and my labs were showing high levels of the protein that had previously been absent! It was crunch time. His gut was 100% right. I’ll never understand how he just knew but he did he is gifted, attuned, really something special. I am so grateful.We had to deliver, however he knew that vaginal delivery was something I really wanted to do so he gave me the freedom to choose which way I wanted to deliver. If I chose to induce it would be riskier as it would take longer and may result in emergency c anyway as one of my babies was breech, so my husband and I agreed c-section was the way to go for us.I was so nervous to have a c-section, I have had abdominal surgery for endometriosis and appendix in the past and have had difficult recoveries each time. I was very shocked and pleased with how well my recovery from the c-section went. Day 4 post op I was going between home and the NICU 4 times per day which was incredible to me. By 3-4 weeks I was having to stop myself from moving around too much, because I felt fine and capable to do it, but was still in the 6 week recovery. By 6 weeks I felt entirely back to normal and got the all clear. The scar is so small and low, I am so proud of it. I’ve attached a picture.When I hear other peoples experiences with twins and preeclampsia I realise how lucky we were and what a privilege it is for my family that we were able to be under his care. Dr Rad was a huge part of the reason I was able to sustain the happy, healthy and calm pregnancy I had always wanted despite all of the potentially worrying factors and we will forever be grateful to him and his team. We love you Dr Rad! Thank you 🙏🏼

He settled any doubts I had and took extra time whenever I needed it to make sure I felt secure and that baby was safe. He’s super meticulous and I honestly just can’t say enough about him. He found two markers and I decided to do the amnio because I felt so safe in his hands.
Me and My wife went to Dr. Rad. I would say he is wonderful. He do a detailed scan as well as explains each and every part of the scan in very detailed manner. He has made our journey to parenthood wonderful. One more good thing about him is he is so flexible that he sometimes make himself available on weekend as well . Love to recommend him. He is a gem.
Dr Rad and his staff are awesome! theyve been extremely helpful and attentive throughout my pregnancy. He is very knowledgable and I felt that my baby and I were in very good hands the entire time.
This review could never express how amazing this Dr is. From his bedside manner to knowledge, to his professionalism. My daughter was 26 weeks when we found him. She was having Pre Term labor and her Physician discharged her out of a valley hospital. She had a infection, bleeding and pre term labor. We found Dr Rad and called him. We spoke with him personally on the phone and my daughter was not a patient. He spoke with her on the phone regarding her issues and directed her to be seen at Cedars Sinai bc she was in a crisis. He also made a appt for her to see him after being evaluated first at Cedars. Cedars handled her crisis and she then saw Dr Rad and he found other issues going on with her pregnancy that would’ve been dangerous if she had not met him. He saw her weekly and then referred her to Sushma Bhadauria to be her new OB Dr. Dr Bhadauria was wonderful as well. They handled one complications after another till they delivered her . She was induced early at 37.5 weeks due to complications and the baby is healthy thanks to Dr Rad. You can always talk to him personally at any time of day or night if you need to. He never takes chances he always makes sure your taken care of. You can walk in his office without a appt and be seen if your his patient and he will fit you in. He is amazingly thorough and always makes sure he explains everything to you. You can tell being a Dr is not a job for him. You can tell he lives and breathes his career. Drs like him are hard to find.
Dr Rad is the best ! I loved seeing him during my pregnancy. The images that he was able to get for me of my daughter are priceless he is the best at what he does !!! I was always happy to see him on Sunday and get updates of my baby . Great sense of humor as well :-)!
Dr. Rad: the most appropriately-named Doc in the business! He and the lovely team in his office are personable, professional, and caring. His appointments are thorough; the equipment is state-of-the-art; and he does everything he can to guide you through an informed and safe pregnancy. I found Dr. Rad by shear luck. Thanks to his instincts and expertise I have a happy and healthy baby girl. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else for prenatal care. I am sharing this review on behalf of my family member for privacy: Dr Rad took care of my wife for high risk complicated pregnancy. She had many complications including IVF, placenta previa, gestational diabetes and older age. He was very detailed and took close care of my wife. Appointments were at least 45 minutes long. She needed insulin medicine. We were part of his concierge program and had direct cell phone, FaceTime and text access at all times. He always answered our messages and questions no matter the time and would even see us on weekends and nights or holidays if needed to accommodate our work schedule or if we had any urgent concerns. We had to seem twice a week at the end. He took care of us more than our OB dr did to be honest and the OB dr always had to ask him what to do. He is often in the office until late night past10pm until all patients are cared for. He made us feel like we are his only patient even though he had many other high risk patients at the time. His office staff is excellent and personal like family to us. He ultimately helped us deliver a healthy baby although she had to deliver a little preterm due to bleeding complications. We are forever grateful for his care and safely delivering our baby boy after trying for many years. We will be seeing him for our next baby! Thank you Dr Rad!!
Dr. Steven Rad is one of the best MFM maternal fetal medicine specialists I’ve seen. He spends so much time going over all the ultrasounds and always going in very much depth. I’ve seen many high risk specialists but nobody treats you like their own family like Dr. Rad does. Look no further!! You’ve found the right doctor if you’re reading this review!!
Greatest experience since i started being seen by Dr. Rad. He diagnosed me with placenta previa after my previous OB reassured me that I had nothing and that the bleeding was normal. I was monitored closely because of my vci and placenta previa that has been cleared after few weeks.Thoughtful and thorough consultations with more than an hour most of the time to check the baby’s growth. I never felt rushed. He is very professional and I am lucky to have him as my perinatologist.. I am now 38 weeks pregnant and I am giving birth next week.

We didnt need this first $350 meeting if we knew from the start that the whole process cost $25,000. They hid this price until the end. Although in the first telephone conversation their assistant told me that the price will be in the range of 10-15 thousand. But the main assist Alysa claim that this is not true, the assistant could not say so, it turns out that I had to record on a dictaphone? Why did they decide that Im a fool and do not hear the price? Only after that first phone conversation we agreed to the first meeting. We spent half the working day and $ 350 for nothing. They promised to return this money through my insurance - but of course not, they did not even deal with it.Its just dirty marketing. They didnt send me an e-mail, they wanted to draw a client to them. Although absolutely in all doctors say the price before the first visit. Its just a hoax.They also promised to send an email with a package of prices for almost a week, but in the end they only wanted to speak verbally on the phone, so that later they could twist their words again. Why do they need it? I think they count on the charm of the doctor and that, having met him, people will agree to any money. But there is nothing special!

I just got home from the hospital. I got to look in my daughters eyes and hold her little tiny hand. She looks just like me. I cried and laughed, all thanks to Dr. Rad. From the beginning of our pregnancy, we had complications. High blood pressure led to preeclampsia, cerclage, advanced age, genetic testing, you name it. The only option was the best team on Earth, period. If I had to walk barefoot from Moscow to Siberia to save my wife and child, I would have done it. Dr. Rad came recommended as the top perinatologist in the country. It showed. He put together a team of star professionals, relentlessly following our case. He referred us to the top professionals. Every time there were more problems, up to our unexpected delivery, he held our hand and showed up at the hospital. He even came at midnight to make sure we were OK. He studied every ultrasound, medication and never skipped a beat. Nurses respected him and his experience. What else can I say about a man who saved my wifes life, saved my daughters life and was in the operating room when I cut her umbilical cord? This guy should run for president.
My wife had 3 times. Dr Rad is so knowledgeable in medical field and this makes him perfect. He did all his sonography with patients and attention to all details. He spoke all details with his patient.We have PPO plan and we paid jus 8 $ for our copay. I think his son is best.I recommend you just try one time and I believe you will be his patient.
Dr. Steven Rad is one of the best and reliable OBGYN’s in all of Los Angeles. My wife is pregnant with identical twin boys and has been having a bit of trouble. One morning around 3:30am we went to the hospital by ambulance in West Covina and the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my wife. I called Dr. Steven’s office at “4:00 am” in the morning and they were able to get him on the line because it was an emergency. He answered all my questions and gave me advise in what to do.Having a reliable OBGYN like Dr. Steven is really important. I am very greatful to have met Dr. Steven Rad. He is very knowledgeable and is known to be one of the best OBGYN’s at Cedar Sinai.

Dr.Steve Rad was amazing my past pregnancy was high risk due to my heart disease I had a really bad experience that ended up in a preterm traumatic c-section when I got pregnant again I wanted to make sure I had the best team in my side and I got that with Dr.Rad my pregnancy was once again consider high risk but this time I had and amazing doctor helping me he was able to make me carry my baby full term and helped me get the best cardiologist to help with my heart disease once it was time for delivery he scheduled a gentle c section and made sure I knew what was going on the whole time him and his team made a scary time fell a lot easier I felt in good hands the whole time he always made sure I understood everything that was going on and that made me fellat ease best high risk pregnancy doctor he really goes above and beyond with your pregnancy care he made this pregnancy an amazing experience so thankful to have found him .
