Although APLA has excellent health services APLA housing services hasnt done absolutely nothing for the past year resulting in me losing my voucher extension last November and after filing a grievance which was not prioritized nor the proper grievance procedures the only outcome was to have my case switched to a different location because the housing worker is afraid cause she knows she didnt do anything now Im getting the same results denial of housing services I plan to take legal action for housing services they didnt provide and falsifying documents for service they didnt give.

They wrongfully fired an employee. Would give negative stars if I could. Bryan, Jesse, Madria and Craig responsible.

APLA is completely disfuncional. All the different departments and services offered are disconnected from each other. If you want dental services get ready to fill out dozens of papers , then the pantry the same papers, then medical the same papers . The Kingsley place has this security guard who is very unfriendly to the gay community , he is rude, he does not know how to talk to people e immediately sends you away without helping you at all. This security guard needs to learn some manners and he needs a training about LGBT it is ironic that he works in a place that offers services to LGBT but he is an ignorant working there. Avoid this guy and place , you can and call before going .

I don’t usually post negative reviews but what i experienced with this guy (David Williams - Benefit Specialist) is disgusting, He’s been rude ever since i met him, He will not even advocate for you, if you’re looking for a person that will help you, He’s not the person to go with, He’s a joke. I wonder why he even work there if he’s not even willing to help people.

Necessary service for the community. Staff is kind and helpful. Downside is getting someone to call back for appointment scheduling. It seems like a lot of resources are spent of Administration and then whatever is leftover trickles down to clients. Shame. Also, there have been times when NOLP has been closed to accommodate staff functions. Which is the priority ? Client or Administration ???

This place should be shut down for what they are doing with donors money. If you are a donor just know your money doesnt help the people that come for help.

2 years waitlist for therapy and nothing. Terrible for those who actually do need care, why offer the service if you’re unable to help people?
