APAIT is not a very good organization when it comes to taking care of the residents safety at Casa de Zuma, a housing facility for transgender MTF individuals who are experiencing homelessness. When I was a resident there, there a was a woman by the name Lakanda Horn, who was the director of the facility from HOPICS, who was very rude, hateful, and hostile towards myself and many of the residence.I complained to APAIT seeing how they jointly run the facility alongside HOPICS and SSG, but I was laughed at and ignored. APAIT seems to care more about the 1% instead of those who they care for.
False form of resource.Depicted itself as an organized form of housing stability and support then ultimately disturbed my peace and left me abandoned.Kicked a houseless artist out on the street in the middle of a storm for no reason. Threatened me with police and lied in my face causing me unecessary confusion, depression, anxiety, overall manipulation, and power abuse.
This organization is DISCRIMINATING AGAINST African American clients that fit the criteria for services...I cant get past the male receptionist Jose... every time I call or go down there he either says theres no appointment available...or schedule me an appointment then when I call to confirm that appointment he Jose has given me...he charges it..I WONDER HOW MANY AFRICAN AMERICANS HAS THIS ORGANIZATION HELPED THEY ARE FUNDED BY GOVERNMENT FUNDS THATZZA MEANT FOR A SPECIAL CLASS OF PEOPLE THAT QUALIFY..YET THEYVE SERVED ON HISPANICS...THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED...I AM FINDING OUT HOW THAT CAN BE DONE...And NOW IM BEING STAWED BY THESE PEOPLE AND VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA...
