So thankful for Dr. Harper and his nurses (especially Taj!) Without them, I wouldnt have my beautiful daughter born just a few months ago. Dr. Harper is very informative and understanding. He cares of this patients and their best interest. His nurses are great. They make you feel so comfortable even though it can be such a difficult process. Many of his nurses have gone through IVF and other procedures, and can truly empathize with what you are going through and give great advice. They are also very quick to respond when you have questions. I recommend them to anyone that asks!
I have had a wonderful experience with Huntsville reproductive medicine staff and Dr Harper. My husband and I have 3 beautiful children with the help of Dr Harper and ivf treatments. Dr Harper has always been very informative and understanding of my feelings and the whole staff is very caring. Infertility is a very emotional experience and everyone has walked every step of the way with me. They have made our journey as comfortable as possible. This office has been like a family to us and I will never have enough words to say how appreciative I am for their professionalism and also their friendship.
The diagnosis of infertility after trying and failing for so long is a humbling experience..when you start researching what options are available it can be overwhelming and very emotional. We were directed to Dr. Harper by a family member after realizing we were going to need further assistance becoming parents than what my OB could provide. We had such an incredible experience with Huntsville Reproductive Medicine! Each staff member was very kind, compassionate and always eager to answer any questions we might have. I love that they worked well with my schedule and had openings prior to me having to be at work so that I could come in for an early appointment and not have to miss as much work. I interacted with several nurses and they were all amazing and compassionate but Taj was my primary nurse and she was incredible! She was always available to listen and helped me with my nerves and answered each question with great respect and understanding. While we would never wish infertility on anyone, Huntsville Reproductive Medicine was an answer to a prayer and I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone. We welcomed our miracle baby boy into this world recently and every moment I look at his sweet face I’m grateful to everyone who helped us bring him into this world!
I was very pleased with the services I received from Dr. Harper and his staff. My nurse Taj was very informative and helpful when it came to explaining the process every step of the way. We started with IUI and after failed attempts we proceeded with IVF. After one failed IVF transfer we were successful with our 2nd transfer. Which was such a blessing since we only had 2 viable embryos and we welcomed our healthy baby this summer! It was a long journey but it was worth it all and Dr. Harper and his nurses were very knowledgeable and patient. The infertility journey can be very stressful but never give up!!
Dr. Harper and my nurse Lauren Lovelace were amazing from day one. Dr. Harper was professional, thorough, and courteous. Lauren was available to me via email any time I had any questions throughout my IVF process. Ive never had ANY medical practice make themselves more approachable and available. Reproductive problems and the IVF process is extremely emotional and stressful. It was so important to me that I wasnt made to feel like just another customer but instead like a patient that was listened to and followed up on. I never felt like a cog in the reproductive machine (which I understand is an issue with other practices.) Most importantly, we were successful and my beautiful daughter was born in February of 2023. I cannot thank Dr. Harper and Lauren enough for making our family whole.
Very thankful for Dr. Harper, Taj, Lynn, and all the others at Huntsville Reproductive Medicine. Secondary infertility is a challenging road and we felt very taken care of here. Quick communication and plans were provided for each obstacle we ran into. Very thankful they were able to help us successfully expand our family this year!
They sent me an email the day before my egg retrieval operation telling me to take a medication that they never prescribed. They did not answer the emergency phone, and I had to get an emergency prescription for this medication from another doctor. They forgot we were using a donor and did not give enough notice to have the vials shipped, so my eggs had to go through the unnecessary step of being frozen first. I received a phone call apology from Dr. Harper, which was insufficient to make up for the financial and emotional cost of their incompetence.I did call and request to speak to Lynn before writing this review. I was told I needed to deal with billing.
We will always be grateful for Huntsville Reproductive Medicine. Our nurse, Chelsea, was such a blessing to us. She was there for us every step of this challenging journey. Dr. Harper never lost hope in our desire to become parents. The office is clean and in a great location. The front office staff was very flexible to work with in regards to appointment times. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes once we arrived for our appointment. I would highly recommend Huntsville Reproductive Medicine!
Dr. Harper and his staff were great, awesome, spectacular all of the above. We were referred to him by my OB. We did 2 rounds of IVF and we were successful with the 2nd round! They were very caring, compassionate, and informative. I thank God for sending us his way because Dr. Harper helped give us our beautiful baby girl! Shes 8 months old now! Shes perfectly healthy and everything that we had been praying for.
We have had an amazing experience over the years and highly recommend Dr. Harper and Huntsville Reproductive Medicine. These people are so professional, kind, and caring. Im always impressed with the level of care I receive.
IVF is no easy ride, but I have nothing but fond memories of everyone at HRM. They treat you with kindness and respect and we are so thankful to Dr. Harper and his staff for our beautiful little boy. Nurse Jennifer Underwood was always helpful, supportive and cheerful, even when we would have super early appointments (before my husband had to start work in the morning). She celebrated my pregnancy like a true friend. The other nurses and staff were also very supportive and compassionate. Dr. Harper seemed to work ethically and is very knowledgeable in his field.
Very friendly, caring, and comforting staff. Even though there can be several visits involved, it is well worth the time spent there. Dr. Harper and his staff are the best! Loved everyone that I came in contact with. All my questions and concerns were answered, and they dont give you the run around about what is going on. I loved knowing that we would try a step by step process that I could understand and I felt comfortable with. I never once felt that money was what they were after, but that they were there to truly help me. I definitely recommend Dr. Harper and his staff to anyone who is experiencing infertility.
I was 33 when I started this journey. I’m now 35 with 9 month old twin boys. Dr. Harper is a socially awkward man but that has nothing to do with him as a doctor. I really liked him and our nurse, Joan. I did have 2 other nurses when Joan was out of the office and they were all very friendly. It took me 2 rounds to become pregnant but that had more to do with my body and changing my protocol to fit my needs. They were very accommodating for my needs , as I needed a 7am appointment to make it to work an hour away. I would definitely recommend Dr. Harper and have to a friend. Dr. Harper helped give me my biological children.
At age 33, we started our journey after finding out I was premenopausal at the age of 30. Dr. Harper, Joan, Lynn, & every staff member we came into contact with were amazing from day one! They were supportive, answered all of our questions, & they didnt sugar coat things so we knew what we against from the beginning. Going to this office was the best decision we ever made! We now have a healthy, beautiful baby boy thanks to their commitment to us!
Dr Harper needs to hire better staff. The receptionist is the most rudest witch I have ever seen in my life! And if I could say a different word, I would. Second, don’t ever expect to see Dr. Harper unless it’s for a consultation. His nursing staff does everything for him. You spend so much money on these procedures only for them to fail but can never be informed of why by your own doctor. Please go elsewhere if you care about being respected, and want to make sure you are spending your money on people who want the best for u. These people are just money hungry and want nothing but that.
Absolutely abysmal.zero care zero understanding. poor reception poor office manager. you will never see the specialist. the nurses are good and do their best been here for 6 month had 0 answers as to what plan we need to take and what we needed to do. the front receptionist kim is awful cannot schedule properly cancels appointments and doesnt listen at all and has the charm of a viper.the office manager is even worse and refuses to help a situation but will immediately defend her lil receptionist and dismiss you from the practice.if you want to feel useless and like a cow sent to the breeders this is the place for you.thank you for wasting our time and money
We had an excellent experience with Dr. Harper. He was very thorough, very thoughtful, and quick to adjust protocols based on lab work to make sure we had the best chance of success. We just welcomed our firstborn thanks to this office!
After 7 years of trying to conceive and trying another fertility clinic, we pursued IVF with Dr. Harper. I was terrified and worn down from so many years of disappointment. I was treated so kindly from the entire staff at HRM that I immediately felt cared for and at ease. Our nurse, Joan, spent countless phone calls not only explaining the medical side, but calming my nerves and being an emotional support. We did get pregnant and I cried when I switched over to the regular OB because I did not want to leave HRM. I will never be able to thank them enough for my beautiful son. HIGHLY recommend.
The care here is amazing . I wanted a family for so long but with pcos it was hard to get there . Everyone here was understanding and helpful. Now I have a very healthy 5 month old baby from my first round of iui. I can’t thank them enough❤️
My husband and I had our first baby girl after a few tries with IVF at this clinic. Our doctor and nurses were all very kind and very considerate toward us, and we worked together to find a medical solution that finally worked for us. I cant recommend them enough, they can change your life forever.
My husband and I have tried to have a baby for almost 11 years. After several years of trying local doctors, we decided (after much prayer) to go to Dr. Harper with Huntsville Reproductive Medicine. It was the best decision we could’ve made. We are expecting twin girls in August 2019!We are very thankful for Dr Harper, Chelsea, and all the other wonderful staff there at HRM!
I have a bit of a mixed review. I love the nurses here! I love the appointment flexibility and how the nurses listen to you! I love that everything in the process is simplified, except how your treated by billing. I’m NEVER delinquent on paying. In fact, I’ve never ever received a bill; when I go in the very nice woman at the front let me know I have a balance and I’ve taken care of it. There was one time I said I’d have to make the payment in a few days and so rudely I believe Heather states “NO I’ve already asked it needs to be paid before we see you again!” Like wow okay, treat me as if I don’t pay my bills when I do. Now today I set an appointment as per the usual last 3 go rounds with this process, and today I get a follow up call from Heather stating well we can’t see you on Friday unless you pay your balance. While you’re helping someone make their dreams reality, I don’t think it’s worthwhile to be so rude over billing when someone’s intentions aren’t to avoid payment. Also to note that the holidays have arrived and there is no need to be bitter. This is not a collections bill and certainly shouldn’t be treated like one.
We were at HRM for over 2 years. Through this time, we had many procedures and many hard days. I truly could not have made it through without the caring staff! Joan was my guardian angel through the whole process. While I did not see Dr. Harper at every visit, I knew he was involved in every decision and available if we ever needed further assistance. Our precious angel baby just turned one - and we are so grateful for everyone at HRM. Thank you!!!
Dr. Harper and his nursing/lab staff are excellent! I do not care for his front desk receptionist AT ALL. She isnt friendly and does not greet the patients. She just hands you paperwork. She seems annoyed that we are even there. She is the only reason that I did not give 5 stars. I am here now and I plan on letting Dr. Harper know about her lack of people skills.
We are so honored to know the wonderful people at HRM. Dr. Harper, Lynn, and Joan hold such large places in our hearts. They were there for us throughout our entire journey, which started 7 years ago and included multiple IUIs, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, pregnancies, and miscarriages, then ultimately resulted in 3 beautiful children. They all showed us such compassion and understanding, and were professional and knowledgeable. We will always be grateful!
We were shocked by the poor experience here. We left our consultation so full of hope. Dr. Harper helped several of our friends have their miracle babies, and we believed we would be next. We quickly realized that you’ll never see the doctor again in this practice. Asking informed questions about your treatment protocol is absolutely forbidden.Considering how common internet portals are for patient information, this office is very low-tech compared to its peers in the state. Everything is done by phone call, so you’ll spend 3-5 afternoons a month waiting by the phone. Good luck if you have a job that requires you to leave your phone elsewhere. Electronic communication is not an option. Don’t expect to receive a copy of your lab results upon request, even though you’ll endure $2k or more of them in your initial workup. That was ludicrous to me.Each and every visit you are required to sign a new waiver indicating that you are responsible for any charges insurance does not cover. That action alone tells you their true concern and motivation (and how tone-deaf they are to customer service). Adding insult to injury, the receptionist that hands it to you is incredibly unpleasant. Several reviews here mention this and I can only assume no one at HRM noticed or cares about their patients’ experience.
We had a great experience with Dr. Harper and his staff. I was seen on time, everyone was very knowledgeable, and luckily our IUI worked the first time. 18 weeks pregnant and everything is good so far.
We are so appreciative of everything they done for us at Dr. Harper’s office. Our nurse Lynn is the best she was wonderful every step through the process. I will forever be thankful to the people in this office. They are amazing!
This is already a very stressful journey. The front office staff & the lady who does billing are very rude & condescending. I will have my initial labs & tests done but I want to be referred out. I cant deal with the attitude & only concern is money. I know it costs but the way that they speak to people is so disrespectful. Its a shame especially because Lynn & Dr Harper were very nice.
This doctor is the worst…not clear with his instructions nor willing to explore new options with patients. I hope he changes in the future and most likely this post will be deleted.
I have never had a bad experience with anyone here. From the receptionists, billing dept, all the nurses and Dr. Harper... they have all been nothing but kind. Love this entire staff! I really cant say enough good things about them.
Another place that loves your money until you have an issue with your health. Watch out ladies.
I love this office and the staff. Although we have not conceived yet, this office is amazing. Joan is an amazing and caring nurse. Everyone always answers all my questions. Dr. D is the best!
Dr. Harper and the rest of the HRH staff are amazing. They gave us the best care especially Joan the nurse who was very patient with us. Thank you all so much!!!
I cant say enough great things about Dr. Harper, Jenn, Joan, Chelsea, Lynn and the rest of the crew at HRM! They became like family to me during a tough time. I highly recommend HRM!!
I saw Dr. Harper twice throughout a year and a half. I had regular appointments twice (sometimes three times) a month. Dr. Harper only came to my initial appointment and my last appointment when I demanded I speak with him regarding all my unsuccessful treatments.
My wife been going over a year with many miscarriages, its been terrible dealing with miscarriages. I am not sure how to rate Dr. Harper performance so Im giving him the middle rating of 2.
Wonderful Doctors, Nurses and Staff! Our Miracle babies will be 3 May 25th.
I could not be more happy with the kind, knowledgeable, and professional staff at HRM. I have two amazing children to show for all their hard work!
Best decision of my life they gave me my dream and she is super smart. She is more advanced than other kids her age.
Excellent staff, very courteous, helpful & punctual. Highly recommend this office to anyone seeking infertility assistance.
These folks put their heart and sole into their patients. Love all of them. They make dreams come true.
Dr.Harper, nurses, and staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and my overall experience was great.
Great doctors and staff, make you feel comfortable from the second you walk in the door.
