I have been a patient of DTW for the last 14 years and have always had a great experience! Began seeing Dr. Cooper when I was younger and now see both her and Dr. Campbell for prenatal care in Middletown. I am currently pregnant with my first child and I am always grateful for their care and expertise when I come in for an appointment! Currently 36 weeks pregnant and have had nothing but support since the beginning. Looking forward to delivering with all the support and care I have received.
Had a great experience with two doctors in the practice. Scheduling is a challenge, but they have always worked with me to make it work. They have a web portal that is helpful for scheduling also. In office staff is professional and pleasant. Great for routine gynecology care and offer hormone therapy for menopause
Wonderful staff that showcases a ton of patient advocacy! Dr Ward and Azadi have been great supporters of encouraging me to maintain my workouts and lifestyle habits during my pregnancy and have answered all my questions with great detail.
Beyond disappointed by this office, specifically with Deborah from Reception. I am an existing patient and recently found out I am expecting which will be my first child. When I called to make an appointment, Deborah advised the soonest I could get in would be May 23, 2024 which would put me at 15 weeks pregnant. I asked when the office typically likes to see expecting patients and they said between 8-10 weeks but it was common practice for them to schedule further out. As a first time mom with zero guidance on pregnancy, waiting from the middle of March to the end of May with no bloodwork, ultrasound, or even a conversation with the doctor about best practices is extremely scary. I mentioned how nervous I was to go that long without a visit. Deborah was cold, provided zero answers, and ultimately made me feel extremely uncomfortable with moving forward. This practice has a clear disregard for their patients which is so unsettling, especially for first time mothers. After hanging up, I immediately began looking for other practices and ladies, please contact Dr. Vergara Felix if youre in need of someone! The office was extremely helpful, personable, and was able to schedule me for April 8, 2024 (7 weeks before Dedicated To Women). They also mentioned that they were shocked this office would even propose to schedule me at the end of May. I mean, what mother would want to wait that long to make sure everything is ok? They are most literally robbing their patients of a positive experience.I also contacted my previous OB office from Northern NJ, who I was seeing before I moved to Delaware last year, and they could not believe this office would even recommend waiting that long. They have no idea what type of health status I am currently in and waiting that long to do bloodwork or any type of ultrasound is absolutely BAD PRACTICE.Its extremely unfortunate because I genuinely liked my doctor there but I will never trust Dedicated to Women again if this is how they handle their pregnant patients. Please take the drive to Wilmington or Newark as there are tons of better practices rather than stress yourself out with this office or even worse, experience complications while youre on their waiting list! Do yourself the favor and save the trouble.
Overall service is poor. They are always late, front desk reception is the worst, they are rude and provide incorrect information. Doctors and nurses are good. Just need to work a lot on customer service.
It’s always a horrible time trying to schedule appointments. Middletown has zero availability so I’m forced to have to travel all the way to Dover. limited female provider availability, and you’re pretty much outright denied care if you don’t accept being seen & checked by a male. rude scheduling team over the phone. i’m high risk, and haven’t been seen since 16 weeks (21 weeks now) and haven’t had a an ultrasound scan since 10 weeks. my hypertension is not being taken seriously. continuously having to play phone tag with these people. it’s like nobody is on the same page there. this is my second pregnancy with DTW and it’s been horrible. the first wasn’t great either, but at this point i’m strongly considering taking my needs elsewhere and complaining to the board. there’s also discrepancies in my health record that they continue to disregard & not correct. they’re refusing to work with my employer to protect my job while i’m on a medical leave due to my hypertension, that they are severely downplaying. i literally had preeclampsia with my last baby. very unprofessional, very unorganized, feeling neglected.
Place has gone downhill. I saw dr Cooper for two or three years before becoming pregnant. Loved her holistic approach and not just turning to a prescription as answer. Called to schedule my first prenatal as soon as I found out (high risk), was told they can’t see me until I’m 20 weeks so I asked to be put on a waitlist. Called today at 15 weeks asking to get scheduled and the receptionist said there was nothing until august, asked to be scheduled, she said she won’t schedule me that far out. Even when I said I’m willing to drive to dover to stay with the practice since I know them. Reminded her I’ve been an existing patient for years and need to get in, she put me on hold and hung up. What a shame, Dr Cooper and Megan provided exceptional care for routine visits but the office staff is terrible. Shouldnt be this hard to be seen for prenatal care when we already have relationships with the doctors. Sad to see such a great doctor have terrible customer service with scheduling.
Every negative review is correct. Had to find a new gyn because maternity & gyn associates is closing this month after 25 yrs and they were great. This office cancelled my appt by vm 2 days before after I waited 3 months for it. I can understand this could happen occasionally but I tried calling back 2 times to reschedule and even left a message. No return call and it’s been 2 days. I was left on hold with 13 callers ahead of me! I still have yet to reschedule because every time I call there’s at least 6 callers ahead of me. Why are they not returning my call to reschedule???. I am done! I already found a new practice and scheduled an appt. What a joke.
I am a new patient and was seen for an annual appointment and my insurance was not billed and now for a week I’ve been attempting to contact the billing department or ANYONE at the office and been unable to do so. This is horrific and not worth the time at all.
Every time that I have called this office, I wait at least 10 minutes for an answer. Today, my appointment was cancelled (after waiting 3 months for an appointment with a practitioner, not even my doctor) with no flexibility in the calendar to reschedule, on top of having to take a half day from work. Just a little disappointed, but that’s why we have Planned Parenthood, right!?
Dr. Cooper is highly specialized & very professional. She is tough as nails, but maybe she needs to be. The office is calm & peaceful.
Havent had any issues here with scheduling or appointments. Office is nice & clean as well. Doctors have been gentle & easy to talk to.
Dr. Cooper is a hack!!! Only cares about selling you one of her many sponsored prescriptions and claimed that my weight could cause my baby to be autistic??? Never coming back!!! 👎
Quick, caring and patient. This doctor has good bedside manner and listen to all my concerns. He provided good suggestions and best practices.
Why does it take the front desk 10 minutes to answer? this is ridiculous. do better.
