My experience at Urgent Care was totally positive. It beats the emergency room wait with a simpler check in, helpful and friendly receptionist. The doctor was personable, receptive and professional. You are blessed to have her onboard. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone for simple emergency situations.,
While the staff here is super friendly and quick to help, the care, especially for it costing $100 (and that’s with insurance) could’ve been better. I was seen for less than 3 minutes and was just checked with a endoscope, no tests. The physician said I probably just had allergies and to take allergy medicine even though I expressed that I felt I couldn’t take a full inhale. 3 days later I had to go to the ER because I had incomplete and crackled breathing and was diagnosed with a URI and given an inhaler with a spacer. They are friendly and quick here but not very thorough in my experience. I wish they could’ve helped me more for the amount I paid and time I spent there
Everything was fast, convenient, and stress-free. Scheduling online made everything so quick and easy, the staff checked me in fast and made me feel comfortable and welcome right away, and I was treated incredibly quickly while still feeling heard and cared for. By far the best experience Ive ever had for any kind of medical visit!
The Medical Assistant was very knowledgeable about her job and very pleasant. The NP was fantastic! After speaking with her my husband felt confident that she was going to help him get better. He is getting better and would like for you to thank her for us.
I was in so much pain and couldnt sleep, they were able to see me right away. I felt the compassion from the staff members and understanding of my needs were meet immediately. I was able have a prescription sent over to the pharmacy within minutes. I am so grateful for your help and support! Thank you so much
Fast and efficient. The Doctor at this particular location was very sympathetic and listened to my concerns. He had a wonderful bedside manner . Not like in the larger hospitals where you feel like a piece of meat that doesnt matter, where if you are spoken to at all it is DOWN to you like you are a child that cant understand past a 2nd grade level. Five stars for sure!
Can’t say enough good things. Saved my spot online and was able to complete my registration on line too. I got there about 15 minutes early and was greeted very warmly by staff. I hardly sat down before I was called back. My appointment time was officially 1:05. By 1:11 I was on my way to pick up my script at my pharmacy. The nurse practitioner, Tobias, was very friendly and very respectful. I appreciate them, and the care I received, very much.
Horrible experience with Pamela Manzi. Didn’t show any care for how I was feeling. Didn’t test me for Covid or the flu. My prescriptions weren’t sent to the pharmacy. Took a Covid test at home and tested positive! Wow, thanks Pamela.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to make an appointment online and was seen very quickly. They were efficient and I received the care I needed.
I was seen on Wednesday. I described my symptoms to the provider and explained that my husband had recently cultured positive for strep a (rapid test performed by GoHealth was negative). The provider I saw was hostile, dismissive, and unpleasant from the moment she walked in the room. My rapid test was also negative but my symptoms were identical to my husband’s, and given that his rapid test was also negative, I knew it was very likely that I too had strep. My concerns were completely dismissed. I was treated like an idiot hypochondriac. I was told my hugely swollen and painful lymph node was due to allergies (I do not have allergies) the provider declined to even assess my swollen lymph node. She reluctantly performed a throat culture even though my throat was “not red enough” to be strep however she barely swiped the back of my cheek on one side and did not perform the culture using proper technique in which I have training. I was afraid that she would hurt me on purpose if I asked her to perform the culture correctly given her demeanor throughout my visit. I left with no hope of an accurate diagnosis. Unsurprisingly that culture has since returned negative because it was not performed correctly. Ultimately I was seen by my primary care on Friday and diagnosed with strep via a rapid test. I could have become seriously ill or even hospitalized if I did not pursue further treatment. This is not the standard of care I have come to expect from the Christiana Care health system. Please check the accuracy of this office’s rapid strep tests. It is statistically highly unlikely that both my husband and I on two separate days, on separate visits, would both rapid test negative while both having active strep a infections, even when factoring in the known fail rate of these tests. I understand that compassion fatigue is a very real phenomenon but what happened to me is unacceptable.
When I walked in the receptionist greeted me with a BIG smile. Everyone was professional, friendly and caring. Dr. Kemp took his time and looked me in the eyes while he or I spoke.I will definitely recommend this facility and return if I am not able to see my PCP.I did make an appointment and was seen before my appointment time.
Every employee from the front desk, to the nurse, then the doctor were all kind, professional, and showed compassion. It also went so fast. 15 minute wait then put in a room then the nurse and doctor came in and we were out no later then another 15 minutes. It was amazing.
I was taken back with a medical assistant within 5 minutes. The nurse practitioner came in about 5 minutes after that. He talked with me, asked a few questions and provided a brief examination. I informed him that I was positive for Covid about 3 weeks ago. I was a little surprised that I wasnt tested to see if I was still positive. I came in for a sore throat, mild ear pain and a mild cough. I needed an antibiotic for a sinus infection which he sent over electronically. The staff was friendly.
The physician, Mr. Anthony Morse was very knowledgeable, friendly and explained things very clearly and thoroughly. He was one of the best physicians I have seen in that Urgent Care center.
Dan PA and the rest of the staff were outstanding. I am allergic to bees.. was stung… and they acted quickly and kindly as I was very scared. My father had just passed away … Emotionally I was in a terrible place… what an amazing group of people to have encountered at such a bad time. Thank you!
Never been to place so rude. My father went here with his caregiver. They hung up me when I couldnt spell or recite his meds list. They have access to his medical portal. The medical assistant was too lazy to look it up. I called back and he didnt care that he hung up on me. The medication given to my dad was useless. It interacted with some of his medicine so he cant take any of it. What kind of SH.T show is this place! Never go here again! Just awful!
Moved very swiftly to see my child.. and didnt waste any of our time and told us to go to AI emergency room immediately. They took him for emergency surgery if I wasnt told to do that he would came out surgery with something he went in with but thankfully to the quickness and honesty my son was able to save everything. I was satisfy with the place...
I was feeling nauseous for several days, so I decided to try the Urgent Care in Middletown, Delaware rather then going to the emergency room at the hospital. Check in was quick and I saw the doctor within an hour and was diagnosed with food poisoning. I was back in my car and headed home in a little more than an hour. If I had went to the emergency room at the hospital, it would have been a all night experience
Christiana Hospital is an amazing Hospital. The Doctor and nurses were very tentative to my Wifes needs. Amazing experience for our first time in their care. Thank u
This care center is open 7 days a week! You get immediate assistance, check in at a kiosk, they take you quicker than a regular doctors office, and everyone is very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a weekend visit if your regular doctor is closed
All of the staff were attentive, kind, professional + courteous. There was minimal wait time + my needs were met w/excellence from check-in to discharge.
Fast and very efficient with online check in. No waiting at all. Handled my problem and gave great advice. So happy that an urgent care is close to where I live.
Over the phone they told me they accept my insurance, but it turned to be just Christiana Cares long standing tradition of incompetence and tendency to lie to patients. After wasting money on a Lyft, ended up leaving since their bills have always been an unaffordable surprise. Third time this has happened to me with two different employer insurances. Maybe other people love it, but for the past 3 years I havent been able to access their almost-monopoly services. Lol American healthcare 🇺🇸
Received excellent care. Very short wait great communications. Resolved my chronic cough.
The process from online registration to being seen was seamless! Everyone was very nice. I would suggest that those who are wearing a mask need to speak up for those of us who are hearing impaired
Starting with the intake person all the way through to the doctor that waited on me. Everything was great.. I had a great experience and what highly recommended to everyone
The provider was amazing! He was so nice and efficient. Didnt keep us waiting and addressed my concerns. Everyone there was so friendly and great with my son.
I was seen immediately, diagnosed and out within 15 minutes! This Urgent Care Center is amazing! Eugene and his associate were so kind and professional! Thank you!!
The receptionist was kind, friendly and very professional. The Nurse who did my assignment was also kind. The Doctor was excellent asked the appropriate questions, and subscribed what was needed.
I came in with an emergency. Jaylen M.helped me into a room quickly and was very professional in his questioning and start of care. Eugene Frances came in prepared to step right in and take charge. He was very kind, caring, pleasant and efficient. I can’t thank these 2 gentleman enough for their kind immediate care and the successful outcome.
Took my son ( 2 years old nonverbal ) here on Saturday morning because I knew something wasn’t right. My son had a high fever and they told me he was okay just a common cold. Took him back Monday because he started pulling on his ears and wanted someone to hold him ears. They told me again ain’t nothing wrong with him. I brought him back home and it was hell smh my son was in pain. So I decided to take him to the hospital and the doctor told me he had a very ear infection. So parents just take your children to the hospital and stop wasting your time here.
My nurses aid was amazing. In and out and proper diagnosis. Definitely 10/10 and will be going back
I used save my spot to set up a time. When I arrived I was taken back in about 5 minutes. Very quick! Got the help I needed with my poison ivy reaction.
Got an appointment that day, check in was quick & easy, little wait time to get weight & height were taken, doctor was friendly, took the time to explained the problem to me, & solution.
My visit at Urban Care in Middletown was quite pleasant. The wait was not long. The receptionist, & practitioners were cordial & efficient, & the facility was very clean.
The facility was nice and the online review was convenient. Dr Ginsberg did not take any flu/covid tests nor chest X-ray and diagnosed my 85 year old father with pneumonia. We ended up in the ER the next day with the correct diagnosis of flu. Dr Gingsberg made an uninformed diagnosis and after waiting over an hour at the pharmacy, we had to call him to transfer the script to the pharmacy.
First time here and was very impressed from the minute I walked in. Mercy, at the front desk, was kind, Professional and thorough. The facilitys Waiting Room was spacious, and everything was spotless. The Nursing Staff and the Doctor that examined me were all very thorough, caring and Professional. I hope I never need their services again but if I do I will definitely be coming back.
I appreciate the doctors and staff at the Middletown location for their friendliness and helpfulness. They made getting my injury treated an easier task.
The visit was quick with no real wait time. The staff was very professional.
Went there for serious sprain of two fingers, possibly a fracture. The “Provider” was of no help at all. I had to ask her if she could do something to help with pain and she looked at me like I was asking for surgery! And then she does this! Thanks for the “tape job”! She said she doesn’t “think” I have any fractures BUT after “someone” else looks at the xray, if they see anything, they will call me. What!?!? I walked out of there in more pain and full of questions then I came in. I went to CVS, bought a splint and did the job myself. Never will go there again. Now I know why it’s always empty.
Appointments are easy to schedule online. Staff works well together. Appointment time kept timely.
Everyone was very nice and professional, the facility was very clean, and the wait time was quick!I didnt have an appointment, I was a walk-in, and was still in and out in less than 45 minutes - with a solution and antibiotics for my sickness.Definitely recommend for time when you cant got to your provider because they are closed, but dont exactly need to go to the ER.
In a recent visit to the Christians Care-Go Health Urgent Care Middletown, Desite, I felt cared for from the welcoming front desk to the medical assistant to the doctor. All were courteous, personable, professional and I had a good sense of sincerity on their part.I would not hesitate to return.
Anytime I have needed to come to this clinic, it has been a positive experience. I was able to be seen promptly and treated with care and kindness. All the staff was polite, caring, and professional.
Care providers did a great job. X-ray services were not available so had to come back the next day for X-ray.
Wait time for my appointment was excellent! The kind receptionist who took my information, the kind & caring medical assistant that took my vitals & the kind , caring and professional NP that saw me during my visit. And, the other sweet staff members who told me to feel better as I was leaving the examination room. I didn’t have an ounce of energy but, they made me smile 😊
The staff were very friendly and caring.. the P.A. who saw me was very thorough and explained everything clearly to me with instructions on my meds
Easy online appointment scheduling. They saw me early on arrival. The MA and provider were excellent.
I was seen quickly the staff was really nice and patient... I got help and after a day of the meds that were prescribed I was feeling more like myself!!! Great great great care. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend!!!!
Very professional, kind & sincere staff. Patient waiting rooms & general seating areas are clean and service is usually quick. Physicians Assistant take their time and explain patient condition (s) & medicine(s). Just a pleasant experience every time I’ve gone!
So very pleased with the excellent care I received. Everyone was caring and I totally recommend this practice.
I had a great experience at the Urgent Care center. The entire visit moved along efficiently, the staff and nurse practitioner were professional and kind, and my diagnosis appears to have been accurate so far. I am following the treatment plan and am feeling better overall. The facility was clean and I could tell that everyone who works there enjoys working there because there was a nice sense of camaraderie among everyone.
Horrible experience. Was seen here, the provider that took care of me ( Robert Ginsburg) was incompetent and not compassionate to the patients, and one clerk at the front desk is incompetent to her position while being condescending when patient ask questions, and rushing to get patients out the door. I was sick , fever 100.4, horrible rash, cough. I mentioned all the symptoms and all the over counter meds along with Mucinex I used to the provider and that the meds I took didn’t help so that’s why I came to this urgent care, I told the provider Tessalon helped me usually and the provider kept repeating to me to just use over the counter meds, I did, it didn’t help, I need medical expert assistance on guiding me what to take or buy so that’s why I came here instead of being told to head to the drug store and get “over the counter medication”, the provider refused to prescribe me Tessalon, and order something else, which is fine with me as long as anything help, but CVS pharmacy told me one of the med he ordered they do not carry, when I contacted the urgent care about that they said they will notify the provider, but the provider never say anything or update his order to something that CVS can fill out, I called the urgent care again and clerk said they don’t know anything about that and I still never get my medications. Because I was sick I needed a medical form fill out , which requires the provider that saw me to say what my symptoms were, and so I left it to clerk and they said they’ll get the provider to fill out, but when I came back to the urgent care for it, the clerk first said she “don’t know anything about it , go call medical record” then later said “ the provider “felt uncomfortable filling it out”, yes, Robert Gilbert , the provider who saw me, felt uncomfortable writing out my actual symptoms? The clerk first said we don’t have your paper, then later said “and if we do have your paper we would have shredded it already” I told her that’s my only legal document and have my personal info on it, and she said “ yea I don’t know, it’s probably scanned and shredded already so check your medical record” I told her I checked my medical record and it’s not there and later the clerk said she and provider don’t have and know what paper I’m talking about. I said, the provider did have my paper because otherwise how would he know the content of the paper in order to say he “feel uncomfortable” filling out. Then the clerk said it’s protocol that their providers don’t do medical forms for their patients “ especially if it’s long” , I told her the company medical form literally asked the provider to write my symptoms and that’s it, like 3 words. then the clerk said out loud in the waiting room with other patients around, “you got xxxx test done, go to your primary and get them fill out” even though the provider here is the one actually saw me. And so yup, provider Robert Ginsburg refused to explain to me why he felt uncomfortable writing out my symptoms when I asked for the reason, the clerk came up with a policy herself that “ the protocol at this urgent care is provider don’t fill out medical form if it’s long*”, I still don’t have my medication and my paper, because they “don’t know what paper I’m talking about but at the same time it’s already shredded”. Also, when the staff triage me, I mentioned all my allergies and medical history, but it said no allergies and no medical history on my medical record.
Absolutely terrible experience. The customer service sucked and the nurse was so rude and disrespectful. I called prior to going in and the person on the phone told me to come in considering I developed new symptoms. Once I got there and paid they told me to basically go home and made me sound like an idiot for coming in again! The nurse was so unfriendly and unkind I did not get her name but I watched her the other day when I was in and she told her coworkers she was not going to take a client because she didn’t want to deal with her. And after calling the patients name and she didn’t hear the nurse she proceeded to let the patient sit there and talk about her to her coworkers. YOU GUYS ARE A HEALTH CARE CENTER! It is all about helping your clients and I left there crying today because I had such a terrible experience.
I was able to make an appointment to cut down on wait time. The Dr. Was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Great first time visit here from registration to the doctors. I felt valued as a patient.
UTTERLY DISGUSTED! It was a waste of time and $35. The nurse practitioner on 3/8/24 was very dismissive, unhelpful, and simply uninterested in my concerns. Stated I was young which was an assumption based on my looks(even though Im older), like I shouldnt have any concerns about bruises just showing up, knee pain when walking, and full body aches were not a big issue. This was the worst experience Ive ever dealt with in the medical field.
Beverly was very nice upon entering and leaving. She is definitely an awesome team player. Shes also very efficient.
The wait was short, staff was polite and professional. Medical professionals seemed very knowledgeable and explained things very well.
Everyone was so friendly and extremely helpful!!! I didn’t wait long either
Excellent tele visit, nurse was thorough in obtaining all the information for my visit with Dr. Meta. Dr. Meta was receptive to my needs and asked appropriate questions to diagnose my concerns. We communicated freely and he was responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Excellent Visit!
I had a great experience at CCHS Urgent Care. The guy at the desk was kind and professional and the NP was very nice and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel rushed at all. All of my questions were answered and I was seen as a walk-in pretty quickly.
I found urgent care to be very clean very helpful very understanding very patient I would recommend them to anybody
I was able to make an appointment at a time the made sense to me. I was in and out, but still felt heard by the physician assistant.
I received treatment right away from the medical staff. They were thorough and made sure I understood the next steps.
Wonderful facility! Fast, clean and thorough! And make my appointments online and I never have a problem. I love this place more than my doctors office and definitely more than the emergency room highly recommend.!
I was pleasantly surprised that urgent care not only took appointments but that I was seen at my appointment time. The nurse and NP were compassionate and efficient. My rx was sent promptly over to the pharmacy.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when we first arrived; the provider was professional, and did a good job of explaining my diagnosis; I was in and out of the clinic very quickly, which was a pleasant surprise.
I arrived around 11 am on a Sunday morning and was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. I went to the pad and checked myself in. The place was busy and there were 7 people ahead of me. I was there for a bee sting so I wasn’t bleeding or in a lot of pain. Just bad itching and arm was hot and swollen. When they called my name I was seen in about 5-10 minutes by the physicians assistant. She was very nice, sent two scripts over to the pharmacy and sent me on my way. I really can’t say anything negative about Go Urgent.
After a failed visit at the ER, I finally got relief at Urgent care... Dr. Janelle and staff were very attentive of my concerns... They actually listened which is rare in the medical system these days... The kindness and professionalism presented was a great relief to me... I had been suffering over a month... Im now on the road to recovery... I appreciate this staff very much and would definitively recommend this facility...
First time visiting with my son for a consult. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and kind. They even accomodated us to ensure my sons tooth was extracted prior to heading off to college. I knew what I needed to pay prior to any work being done and was easily able to schedule a future appointment several months out for the remaining work.
Always there when I need them. Not just for me, but for my family too. Illnesses, minor injuries, or testing, they are always there to save the day! Thank you!
I was in and out within an hour. Very friendly and polite staff.
I was in and out in 45 mins. I had covid and was not well at all. They took me right away. Examined me and prescribed me an antiviral medicine that made me feel much better. They also found that i had a sinus infection on top of covid and prescribed me an antibiotic. They are so professional there. I will definately go back.
Providers listed to and believed me about my symptoms even though they didnt fall exactly with the books symptoms
They had me in and out in under 40min for the typical cold symptoms. Everyone was really nice. Nobody wants to sit in a waiting room for hours when you’re sick, this was not the case with GOHealth. Thank you!
The young man was quite friendly and informative when I called to see if the site was still taking walk-ins at 6:ish 7-3-23.I also appreciated M.A. who was friendly and thorough. Most importantly I received thoroughness and the care I thought was appropriate for my illness. The provider did a good job.
Quick response in my diagnosis and treatment plan. Everyone was professional and helpful
Arrived during week morning hours. Was called back quickly. Doctor diagnosed problem and called in a prescription. Issue gone in several days. Pleasant experience.
I have NEVER seen an urgent care that doesn’t take walk-ins when they have 2 HOURS before closing.
I was there August 22, 2022 with chest pain which were very painful to breathe in. My initial thought was they would listen to my chest, take my vitals and a chest x-ray. I was met by a very loud and rude nurse who made it very clear that the X-ray tech was not there and no matter when I came back I would not get a chest x-ray at this facility those were her exact words very loudly. They did do a EKG which a year later I am trying to get a copy of. I have paperwork that shows they performed a EKG and sent me to the emergency room room. A year later still trying to get a copy of the EKGhwonderfsassistant u
Poor service, saw my daughter for pink eye last patient of the night. Supposed to send prescription to walgreens(electronically), drove half an hour to pick it up, and they never sent it. Always get them to print your prescriptions. If they forget, you have the paperwork. Once theyre closed theres nothing you can do. I learned a valuable lesson tonight.
Quick availability of appointment time; prompt check-in; excellent experience with clinicians
Not sure of the nurse practitioners name but she was not a very pleasant person. I came in with my spouse. She made sure she never made eye contact with me. It seemed like we were a bother. When I asked her a question she just gave me a “look”. She definitely has no bed side manner. Don’t have to worry about us choosing this facility ever again. By the way we were there 7/18/22 at around 10am.
The staff were very thorough and explained my X-ray results well. Their recommendation to follow up with Ortho was correct. My broken shoulder bone is healing nicely. The front desk staff were also very professional and supportive.
I didn’t have an issue with my appointment at all they where great what I did have an issue with was the billing of my appointment I have insurance and the billing system was down and wasn’t able to verify insurance coverage and charged me as not having insurance I was told my payment would be Canceled and I would be sent a bill in the mail that didn’t happen so I reached out to the billing department who tells me they can’t do anything cause it was a virtual appointment and they don’t have access to refund the overpayment and I have to wait for the insurance to pay out then I’ll get the overpayment back which if anyone knows that could be weeks your system wasn’t working and I have to suffer and be without my money for god knows how long this is unacceptable and terrible customer experience
Last night my daughter injured her foot. We got to Christiana Urgent Care in Middletown 20 mins before they closed. They took her in anyway and were so nice, patient and got her all fixed up in no time. She left in great spirits and I couldnt say enough good things about the staff there. They were awesome.
Consistently worst! In my first visit for my daughter they said I had to take appointment, they have no walk ins. What kind of urgent care is that? My wife begged to check our 2.5 yr old daughter. No use.In second experience, I came with an apportionment. Then they said they have a system error and they got over booked. I have to wait one and half hour ti get my turn.
I came in with foot pain and thought I had gout (thanks to Dr Google). The Nurse Practitioner diagnosed me with an ingrown toenail and said to soak my foot in epsom salt 3x day. I was honestly skeptical and swore I had gout because I’ve had ingrown toenails and never had the pain I had this time. But she was right. After one day of epsom salt soaks I feel way better.Check-in was smooth (though the receptionist reverse checked in walk-ins which was annoying, but I still got in and out fairly quickly despite it).Everyone was kind and pleasant. The layout of waiting area is great for spacing. They have a well oiled machine. Movement made sense and they were well organized. And the accurate diagnosis and suggested rehab that worked make my trip worthwhile and more than make up for the receptionist checking walk-in’s in backwards.
The best part of our experience was definitely the staff. From Abasai (front desk) to Randi (MA) to Heather (xray tech) and then Dr. Dan, their overall demeanor really made our visit much easier than I thought it was going to be! I had to take my injured 2 year old and they did everything possible to keep her calm and gain her trust- definitely recommend!
I had my son there on Monday (5 days ago) for a possible broken hand or boxers fracture. They stayed him, dr called him stupid to our face, and sent him away with no X-ray read and just being told it was a bad sprain . I ended up taking him to AI DuPont because I was not happy with the care received at this facility. Our visit to AI revealed his hand is in fact broken in 2 places. If we would have went just on the word of the ‘doctors’ at this facility we wouldn’t have known…until the call we just received 5 DAYS LATER!!!Completely ridiculous. Totally unprofessional. Never again!!!
This review is speaking specifically to the receptionist (Dawn) we encountered on our visit earlier this evening at this location (6:30 p.m.). When entering the facility we were immediately and sternly told to grab face masks. Sure, no problem, but how about a please? We then proceeded to check-in and she asked for my GFs daughters ID, which she (the daughter) didnt have. We told her that and she responded with we cant help you. She has to have it. My GF, the mother, explained that she still lived with us and just turned 18. The receptionist was stoic and just plain rude. Additionally, my GFs daughter noticed how she was treating the people waiting and coming in. Again, rude and disrespectful. My GF then let this receptionist know just that. Look, I understand policy. I get it, but deliver it with empathy and compassion. Not a problem then. This person has no business working in a customer facing position, especially in the healthcare industry. Do better! We went to the Smyrna location and they get it. A flawless experience there.
Very nice people, took care of my issues.
The antiflamatory meds helped .Still sore areas but not as bad, getting better
Virtual ConciergeMinimizeTodayTo chat with us, please tap the button below. For quality assurance, your chat session may be monitored. They do not have a chest x ray machine so if youre chest is hurting. I do not recomend going there just go straight to the hospital they will also turn you away if you do not have your insurance card. Discusting to do that to someone. I thought this was illegal. you do what you want but it would be a waste of time. Also they wouldnt give me antibiotics for my ears. I had to go somewhere else to get checked out I can barely talk I cant believe. I was treated this way. Low and behold my ear was infected the other place I went they were actually worried about my ears. So why is this doctor a doctor if he is not willing to treat patients correctly. Sickening I am sorry. I had face pain ear pain and a cough and my eyes were hurting me. It was a waste of my time and money to go here. Never again!. He wanted to say it was allergies not a ear infection unbelievable! Discusting. I would not recommend going here.
Check in was very quick. Both ladies at the desk were extremely pleasant and engaging. The same held true for the nurse, Xray technician and the doctor. I was pleasantly surprised that the wait was not long at all. To be an Urgent Care and seeing all types of patients, they did a great job.
Disappointed there was not an xray tech on duty for our visit. Were offered an xray for the following day.
Friendliness, cleanliness, very caring professionals. Definitely not time caring, but that didnt bother me much, even though I was there over 3 hours. I have learned to always be patient when going to the doctors, because thats what I expect from them!
It was my fist time at this particular Urgent cair. So here we go...Your staff, attention to detail, and the layout was instantly recognized. They take carenof you in ordernof how you arrived, so if you havenan apt, i would suggest get thete a half hr early. When my name was called, ieveryting worked quick and smoothly. My physician was Awesome. Right to the point with correct diagnoses and didnt mess around waisting either of our time. He Sent a script for my acute bout of Poison Ivy to my local pharmacy of choice. I will be using this group again if and when i need their services! A+++
This place is great ! ESPECIALLY Dr Tobias !!!My 2 year old son woke up from his nap this Sunday, and was suddenly super sick ! I got him to the urgent care at 5pm. Dr Tobias saw my son. He shuts down near strangers, and he was SO patient and kind and gentle with him. Turns out double ear infection, and it was bothering his chest as well.Doctor sent the meds to the closest open Walgreens pharmacy. I got there, the Pharmacist told me try again tomorrow bc they were closing shortly and he wasn’t going to fill anything.I called urgent care back, left a message for doctor Tobias and within minutes I got a return call. He sent the meds to the Walgreens in bear that was open til 10pm that night. Essentially doing the local pharmacists job as well, because he cared about my son getting medicine THAT night. It was a GREAT experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. Esp if Dr Tobias is on shift that day.
Worst experience. I went on Monday 10/17 for my ears/glands and sinuses. He confirmed my ears are full of fluid but didnt listen to my lungs or feel my glands. Nothing was prescribed because theres no infection. Pain keeps getting worse. I had to stay home from work Wednesday because I was in so much pain. I’ve probably missed 5 days of work for being sick in 15 years. I got back today 10/22 and they said I’d have to pay again because it’s been 6 days.. Monday to Saturday is NOT 6 days. Useless
I had a great experience start to finish. The wait time to see the doctor was a little bit longer then some would like but it was well worth it. The doctor took his time with me and asked a lot of questions and truly listened to my responses to make his diagnosis. I am so pleased that I went in as I could not get in to see my primary until next week and I needed to deal with the situation I was having in my inner ear. Thank you so much. I woke up this morning and can already tell the difference that the medicine is making.
Timely, in and out in reasonable amount of time. All Staff are polite and professional. Clean facilities and easy to set up appointments
Staff is definitely a 10. Facility clean and organized. Advertisement online honest. My Express check-in, paperwork and exam under 2 hours. Pleasant overall, as a senior citizen really appreciated and very grateful. LL
Excellent patient care! Great personalities and friendly!
Alex, the PA was very thorough. She was kind, listened and explained everything in detail. I am thankful for her knowledge, expertise and warm spirit. Ive been struggling for quite sometime with these symptoms. She made everything make since and gave me proper treatment. I now feel like Im on the mend. Thank you!
I loved the way nurse and doctor took good time to understand the situation better and nurse words are so consoling and the doctor came in and she saw my son with high fever she immediately got ibuprofen and gave it to him . She was so sweet and considerate about his situation .
Everyone was so nice and had me in out very quickly.
When I arrived, the gentlemen at the counter said he didn’t know what more they could do for me, since I was just in the ER yesterday. Nonetheless, he processed all my information and said I would be seen soon. The nurse was pleasant, kind, and very upbeat. She offered me multiple smiles and ensured the doctor would be in soon. The doctor came in and was very thorough and explained every single medication and what exactly it does. At no point did this doctor make me feel like I was a nuisance or a burden, which doctors sometimes can do. My whole experience from start to finish (about an hour and a half) was absolutely wonderful. I will certainly be using this urgent care from now on!
I am so happy that we now have Christiana Care Urgent Care in Middletown. Appointments are so easy to make and you can get in the same day. I have been there several times and I have the upmost praise for Dan, PA, Briana D, PA and Caitlin Childress who is the receptionist. The entire staff is always friendly with a smile on their face even when the waiting room is full of patients to be seen. They also spend time in the exam room with you. Hats off to a job well don.
Very friendly staff and quick service. It was easy to book a Sunday appointment online and we were in and out in under 30 minutes!
The hours say until 8pm I arrived at 745 and I was told they stop taking walk ins at 730 but when I tried to make an appointment at 715 on line it wouldn’t allow me to and said walk ins are still accepted. That should be stated on the site. Why state you are open until 8? Mind you there was only 1 person in the waiting room.
The wait times are what they are. If you check in early and go in at your scheduled time you should be fine. Went for a TB test and it was great. Also, YALL NEED TO GIVE AMBER AT THE DESK A RAISE!!! she is fannnntassssticccc and so nice!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was seen quickly. And they did a great job treating my injury.
I made an appointment on line and completed all of my paperwork. I was taken back timely and all staff were competent and professional. It was a great experience.
I went tonight(3/21) to get a covid test and a strep test. I walked in but the wait wasn’t bad. Everyone was super friendly and caring. Definitely the best urgent care facility I’ve been to.
Very kind staff 9/27. Dr Bob, Latoya, (Naiemah, Nyema?) And the young man at the front desk. I felt safe and secure, welcome and protected.
Staff was great. Took thier time with me. Was in and out
Service was horrible the provider lied about my son symptoms today talking about it’s a virus which it’s not he had a sinus upper respiratory thanks to the ED front Desk needs to learn how to be respectful and to do customer service correctly. Poor service. I will not be back me or my family.
Do not go here! My wife and I ended here for a Covid test, after all local places were unavailable. Miscommunication and setting false expectations is my primary take away. We had to pay $150 for co pays for a Covid Test that our insurance covers. No one told us we were beings seen by a doctor. All we asked for was a test. None of this was communicated. The people at front desk told us things that conflicted with what the doctor said. I witnessed multiple patients walk in confused and disillusioned because of what they were told on the phone did not match what the actual procedures were. A man with a cut on his finger walked out due to the long wait. While I waited I could hear through the walls conversations and cackling. Patients don’t seem to be a priority . I did have a pleasant experience with the nurse and the doctor but all the other experiences and false expectations lead me to Ben vet want to go back to this place again. I hope they can work on this
Staff were all friendly, courteous and efficient. First time I have ever gone to a walk-in type Med center and it was an excellent experience
When I first got to the clinic I told them why I was there, which was I burned my arm bad when my iron fell on it. So they were very nice and caring about it. There names were Tina and Aretha. I didnt make an appointment and my wait was just over five minutes. When the nurse Jeff brought me back to the room he was very nice, he was personable he laughed and joked with me in A very professional manner. He definitely eased my nerves before the doctor got there. Again, my wait wasnt long no more than five minutes. Then the doctor came in, Dr. Marco J Cerasoli( I hope I got that name right) he looked at the burn and said he would give me a topical antibiotic and it needed to be covered while I was at work, so he left the room and he gave me the cream there( no having to go to the pharmacy and paying extra) a bunch of dressings and wraps, no additional charge. As a whole it was a great experience.
At the Urgent Care in Middletown DE, I experienced Their professionalism, treated with respect, quickly seen, very clean and pretty facility .....I was very pleased with The NP/PA who helped me...her name was Alex!!! Very professional and thorough!!! Thank you Alex!!!
Didn’t have to wait to see a doctor. Needed stitches on my hand and I had a wonderful doctor take care of me. He made me feel at ease.
Can easily tell this is “just a job” with a lot of the staff at this location
The MA was very personable with my son and NP Tobias was great. He did a pushup challenge with my son for his sports physical. He was very personable too.
The personality of the staff and PBR Robert Ginsburg at this Urgent Care facility made me comfortable in a somewhat crisis any injury concern situation. Please let them know, thank you.
No wait . And very nice staff!!
Dr Kramer was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Check in was easy and we were seen by the doctor quickly once in the exam room. A diagnosis was made quickly, with the help of a chest xray that was taken right across the hall. In and out and on to pick up scripts in about 40 minutes total. So glad to have this walk in clinic available for times when the doctors office is closed or booked.
I decided to receive treatment from this urgent care facility against my better judgement because I didn’t want to wait in the ER. I ended up waiting just as long. I was the last patient for the evening and ended up being hurried out because it was getting late. I was seen by a nurse practitioner not a doctor. Probably in the interest of keeping costs down. I was given an injection for pain and a prescription for ibuprofen for which they sent to the wrong pharmacy. I was discharged in 10 minutes. I was having pain and discomfort and didn’t have the energy to get NASTY about it. They did nothing for me. It’s a polished clinic at best for people with busy lives that’s ill-equipped to handle illnesses no greater than a bee sting. I have excellent health insurance and able to see any healthcare provider I choose. I expected better because I have better. I contacted my health insurance provider and informed them that I wanted my $50 co-pay reimbursed because I received no medical attention or diagnosis. Next time I’ll just go to the the ER. I’ll have a better chance of leaving with a diagnosis.
The quality of care provided and the kindness of the staff was excellent. It was an easy experience when I was feeling so terrible…illness.
Check in was quick, and easy! Staff were very professional. NP Bev was awesome! She was very knowledgeable, and explained everything she was doing in terms that we all understood. I loved it! For it being the first time I went, my experience was outstanding! In and out in no time.
I would give this location zero stars if I could. I was denied service today because my 3 year old would not wear a mask. The nasty lady at the front said its Christiana Care policy. Since when? My son has accompanied me before to this Urgent Care and no one said a word. He has also been to the ER, another urgent care, as well as his pediatrician office who is also part of Christiana Care and never did anyone say anything about him needing to wear a mask. I even offered to sit him away from everyone.I was very ill and to be told to leave seems like you are giving people a very good reason to bring a lawsuit against CC.
Brought my 3 year old and 1 year old who both turned out to have double ear infections. Evette and Autumn at the front desk were extremely helpful, friendly, patient, and understanding. Our MA took all the time we needed to give a thorough intake.Dr. Kramer has a fight going on between his medical expertise and bedside manner to see which is the most amazing, a tough choice! He made us feel like our kids were the only patients there, made our very unhappy children laugh and be comfortable with the exam. While we hope they dont get sick again, we will definitely go back there if they do!
I was able to schedule my visit time easily in advance and upon arrival was seen quickly. Staff were pleat and professional. Physician seen was thorough and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience especially when you aren’t feeling well!
The friendly people and staff was great the service was very good and they explained everything so I can understand them the only thing I didnt like is they didnt take cash but had a great experience
We arrived. We checked in using the kiosk. I provided them with insurance information and signed some paperwork. We were seen quickly considering its a medical aid unit. The staff was very kind. Got my 7 year old son to x-ray quickly. Hed broken a bone in his foot. They wrapped his foot in an ACE bandage, put him in an orthopedic shoe and taught him how to use crutches. Gave us information on following up with an orthopedist at AI. Very friendly. Very professional.
Used express check. Showed up. Front desk assistant was quick and courteous. and was taken care of immediately. When taken back to the room, my vitals were taken and the physician came in shortly after that. She asked questions and examined me and provided her assessment. She left and shortly after that, the discharge nurse came in, explained the paperwork, verified my prescription had been called in and I was out!
Everyone there is so friendly! The ones at the front desk were having trouble with my insurance but they never gave up and tried their hardest to help me get the best result. When in the checkup room, I did not feel rushed at all and as if they really cared to find a solution that would work for my ailment.
It was 7/3 and couldnt get an appointment with my regular doctor until 8/8. So,, even though i was grateful to have been seen,, I was(and still) am in extreme pain. I was told to take aleve and naproxen ( aleve) along with 4 MG of tizanidine (muscle relaxer) every 12 hours. I cant find a good position to sleep laying down,, sitting in a chair or even standing! Im not asking for drugs,, just something like 800 MG of ibuprofen ( not blood thinners) to last me until I can be seen by my real doctor
The on-call personnel were personable and very welcoming and the facilities very. Nurse Audrey and Dr Kramer made me feel very at ease while treating my fractured ankle in a very timely manner. Thank you all for your excellent and professional assistance and helping to raise my spirits.
Came in and signed in on the tablet and got in right away! However, we were kept waiting over an hour. Around the 30-45 minute mark we were greeted by a doctor who proceeded to ask us what the room number was! No sympathy for the patients time what so ever. As we waited, we were also able to hear the nurses chatting and laughing as our time was wasted. Finally we were given a strep test that was expected to take 5 minutes but turned into 30! And owner, before you respond with your copy and paste message with the phone number for patient care, I already got it (:
Horrible experience would NOt recommend especially if you have young children, doctors and nurses are incompetent and not up to date on pediatrics at all. They also Mom shame parents. They shamed me for not giving my child Tylenol or Motrin and they argued with me stating 99+ temperature is it extremely dangerous in children. If you Google a fever in children isnt until 100.4+ when we left our home my son was at 100.0. when we got there he was at 100.8. they wanted to do strep test on him usually they take two swabs at the same time and swab the back of the throat well in this case the nurse only did one for the rapid test well that came back negative and she wanted to do another unfortunately because she was so rough and his throat was so red and raw it was excruciating painful for my son so naturally theres no way they were able to get the second swab. She stated that his throat was red well the doctor came in he looked and he said oh its slightly red but I dont see any white patches so hes fine well just give him some prednisone for his slight cough. The doctor also wanted to give him Tylenol for his fever the doctor had no clue how to measure out the Tylenol the nurses told him to grab a needless syringe out of the cabinet and use that well he would not do that he had to have a measuring cup. I also clarified with my sons doctor in regards to what is considered a fever in pediatric patients and I was correct. Will be getting a second opinion.
This review is due to COVID tests. I need them to travel so I need responses quick. You are billed immediately $200 and go through a virtual visit and then schedule your test. For the most part this went well until i was told once that it has to be same day (which is odd.) That didnt happen. The office staff for all but on visit was fine, the last visit there was conflict as i had done the screening but they tried to rescreen me.The big issue is that I was billed AND they billed the insurance as well - and billed the visit as a doctor visit NOT a COVID test. It took numerous calls to get this straightened out and refund checks delivery are at 6 weeks.I will never get a COVID test here again.
Audrey was absolutely a delight. She has such a wonderful attitude and has such a sense of being able to put anyone at ease. I’ve always loved coming to this location. As long as a spot is reserved on the Express App, time spent in the waiting room is minimal.
Wonderful experience and care with great bedside manner. My son and I had to go to urgent care for this trifecta virus going around. The PA or Nurse Practitioner was very informative explaining everything about this virus and then provided some ways we could help to ease our symptoms at home. By the way Tamiflu does not work. It only shortens the Flu Virus for 3/4th of a day of the time and causes diarrhea. Pharmaceutical companies need to research more antiviral medications and stop trying to get doctors to buy it and give it to sick patients.
This urgent care has great patient care and excellent bedside manner. I was in and out quickly and treated with respect and my concern was handled efficiently. This is the best urgent care facility I have been too.
My son had a Pre-Operation COVID Test Scheduled for 8 am got there at 7:50 there were was two walk ins a head of us. They registered them gave the gentleman a 11:30 apt and the woman and her son a 1pm apt then another woman and her son walked in for a 8:20 sports physical. They took the 8:20 and the 1pm walk in as well a woman who also had a 8am apt. Finally got seen at 9:15. I don’t mind waiting but when u take back people with appointments after ours or who didn’t have one at all that makes me mad!
Quick, efficient,Polite and helped me with my problem. Im very happy with this place. I will definitely be coming back and recommending family and friends.
Very positive experience. Fast service, thorough exam, friendly staff!
This is one place you do not wanna go to. I went to this facility due to location and rating. Who ever gave this 4.1 rating truly lied. I wanted to be seen because I was not able to walk on my left foot. My ankle was sore and swollen. I was in severe pain. They told me I could not be see today but tomorrow at 2 in the afternoon. Mind you there was only on person in the waiting room. If you need medical help please avoid this place because they are useless.
Waiting two hours to see a doctor, waited in an exam room for one hour. Lady at the desk was super nice when I asked when I would be seen. She apologized and explained they are working with only one doctor. I Can hear the other workers in their break room heating up food and laughing. I was told an hour ago I was next in line, then hear another person come out of their room and ask when they would be seen. This place is obviously understaffed with the qualified help. Whoever is managing this office needs to look into the operation. There is no sense of urgency
What a great idea to pre-register for an appt. I was able to stay at work until my appt. Great idea in theory. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appt and was taken back almost immediately. But waited for over an hour and still no doctor. After an hour and 15 min I came out of the exam room to inquire if I had been missed on the rotation and was told that I was next. But still waited about 0 minutes before the NP came in. The staff are friendly and the NP was very thorough. At the end of my appt, the nurse returned to complete exit ppwk and apologized for the wait stating they got busy and had to call another doctor in and unfortunately I was at the end.Nice place and a great idea to pre-register but you may want to re-evaluate the patient flow/wait time once they are seated in an exam room. The wait was exceptionally long and didnt seem to have any correlation to the pre-check in procedure.
Staff was horrible they wouldn’t let me or my mom go back with my dad to help him out and they let someone else do it, the white lady there was insanely rude, we have been waiting for 9 hours for them to send a prescription in, one prescription. Apparently “they need more time” and now the pharmacy is closed this has been a wild goose chase and wasted all of our times and days.
Absolutely awful experience here. My 17 yr old son was turned away after I scheduled the needed sports physical appointment, and sent in all needed docs, signed, dated, insurance card and money to pay. I am a single working mom. I couldnt get off work to take him. When I called to complain, the most monotone, could care less operator handled my call and kept spouting the policy. Thankful that I have a new pediatrician at Nemours in Middletown to alleviate the future stress of dealing with this place.
Very professional atmosphere, staff was willing to attend to my needs. Waiting was in a good timeframe.
Staff there is wonderful but the office violates all HIPPA regulations. You are asked right away what youre there for so the entire waiting room knows your personal business. They ask all about your insurance in front of the waiting room. And may I add, the waiting room is extremely quiet. No TV, no radio and hearing the staffs private business is made known too.
I will never go to another walk-in medical place besides this one. The staff here were great. The doctor actually took her time to discuss my symptoms and care plan, rather than rushing out of the room. Dr Hooks was awesome. Thanks!
My boyfriend was seen by Dr. Horatio C. Jones III this evening in Middletown and was given the worst treatment possible! Upon the MD walking into the room his first sentence was “Oh your back. Weren’t you here two weeks ago?” UNACCEPTABLE! That is not how you treat a patient! My boyfriend has some type of large “mass” in his stomach and decided to come get seen tonight, well that was a MISTAKE! The doctor did an exam of feeling his stomach and upon not finding anything serious (to his thought), he told us that he did not want to assume it was a muscle strain without further testing. But did not give any instructions besides take Tylenol, and go to the ER if it gets worse. That is completely unprofessional! If your unsure of the issues without further testing, why not send the patient to get said testing! And finally, on his discharge papers, there was a statement talking about my boyfriend as a female.I will be calling the office manager Monday morning. This is absolutely unacceptable treatment.
All the staff were very helpful with guiding me thru my illness recovery.
I came into to Middletown MAU with my boyfriend today because he was unable to hear out of his ear and kept complaining of it feeling clogged. We thought we would have a long wait and we didn’t. Tenisha Barrett took us back and immediately checked us in and took his vitals. She was very nice and personable. Then after about 2 minutes, Dr. Horatio Jones walked in, diagnosed the problem and not soon after, the Lead Nurse, Samantha Carter came in to irrigate his ears. Dr. Jones patiently listened to our concerns. He showed a lot of compassion and empathy. Mrs. Carter was very gentle and caring also. In fact, all the staff that we encountered today provided exceptional customer service!
Absolutely love the staff! The doctor really took time to listen to my concerns and to learn about my health history before making any diagnosis. I will always use this place should I ever be in need of care again!
I was in and out quickly. Everyone was very professional and attentive. The Dr I saw was thorough and pleasant. Keep up the great work!!
Went in on Super Bowl Sunday with a gash on my finger from a power tool snafu. Got in right away, stitched up and out in about 45 minutes. Cheaper and faster than the ER. Staff was friendly, informative, and positive.
Visited the Medical Aid Unit Saturday morning with a very painful knee. The nurse was very helpful and sympathetic and a very personable Dr. Frazier fixed the problem quickly. I left the unit without pain. Ironically, this was a surprisingly pleasant way to start the weekend!
Urgent Care offered fast, accurate care.
This afternoon I was seen at the MIddletown care unit for joint pain. I did use the website to reserve a time slot and was taken back in just a few minutes. I was seen by PA-C Christina Angelini. I found her to be very friendly with a bright disposition. She talked to me about my past medical history, gave me a thorough exam with regards to my aching joints, and briefly educated me as to what might be the cause of my inflammation. She then recommended a course of action. I appreciate her mindfulness and compassion. I have been seen by doctors that were far less thorough than her. Thank you for making a decent afternoon after what has been a fairly miserable few days.
I went on a Sunday morning and walked right in!No wait.
Loved that you can check in online and you receive a somewhat accurate wait time. Had a great experience with the NP, she was very knowledgeable and courteous. Best of all, I feel much better after doing what she recommended! I would definitely come back to this location.
Always short wait times, clean building, and friendly staff!
Went there for a bruised arm, possible fracture. The women behind the counter never greeted me even though I was the first one there when they unlocked the door in the morning. She was very cold - all she said was “check on over there” as she pointed to a tablet. There examination rooms are not well kept up. Paint coming off the wall, scuff marks on the walls and counter top looked old and definitely need to be replaced. (Look at photos I posted) it felt like I would pick up a sickness just sitting in there. Place should be clean and sanitary. It’s a part of a hospital for Christ sakes.Anyway so the Nurse practitioner (not even a doctor) barely examines me (touched my wrist and listened to my breathing) sends me over to X-ray. I get back and he tells me to take Ibuprofen and that it’s probably not fractured per his look at the X-ray. The radiologist needs to see it and when he does he will call if it is broken.Well later that day I go to my doctors office who was very concerned of the swelling in my arm and prescribed me some steroids and pain medication. They wanted me to follow up in a week. It was a huge difference in care. Christiana Care is losing its touch in the care department. They make you feel like your just a customer walking through their procedures and pushing you out. Hell, I had to pay my co-pay with in 30seconds of walking into their facility. Definitely not the best care- but maybe for a third world country it would do.
Complete waste of time. I paid $140 for them to tell me I need to go somewhere else and I can’t get a refund for them doing nothing. I will never go back even in an emergency. I have already reached out to corporate and the billing department.
Tow times I went. All the people are respectful and kind. Very efficient process and the option to prefill paperwork is amazing.
Their ability to do any medical procedure is Non-Existent. Save your money and go to a Real Doctor. Truly a worthless product.
Checking in via the website saved a lot of time. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor and nurses were not rushed. I was able to be in and out in an hour. I would definitely recommend this medical aid unit.
I love using the App so we don’t have to wait so long. All the doctors and nurses have been extremely professional and kind to myself and my children. I love that I can use this facility whenever I can’t get in to see my primary doctor.
I appreciated the quick access and ease of scheduling an appointment. I especially liked the physician who saw me--she was very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you for your good service!
The BEST Medical Aid Unit I have ever visited!!. Very professional and caring without the long wait usually at these type facilities. Even better than my own primary doctors office. I will visit Christiana Care Medical Aid Unit for all my medical care.Thank you all for a great visit.
I had the worst experience ever. The nurse practioner treated me for a bowel blockage she thought. She didnt have an xray done on me. She gave me something for constipation that was suppose to fix things. I wasnt have constitpation at the time of the visit. I had really bad stomache pains from gas I couldnt get rid of from the meds. My husband took me to the er Sunday. They said I should have never been on the meds and this was confirmed at my follow up visit with my family doctor. I called to make a formal complaint. They were going to review my file and get back to me in a day or two. This never happended. Because of the nurse practioner, I had a large er bill. I will never go there again.
The Team of Care that was provided for my husband was amazing. Dr. Hasan was and is a gift from God. She has made this life changing experience understanding and knowledgeable. Her compassion during this time for me was uplifting. We both thank you all for the kindness and care that was given to him.
Facility clean, wait was short and staff was friendly!
Staff very professional and service was great got in and out with little waiting. I highly recommended this Urgent Care
The front desk, and nursing staff were fine, but I was treated horribly by Dr Warrington. I went in for back pain and he made me feel like I was just an addict looking for pills. he was cold and had no sympathy for me. I was in tears in pain, and he still treated me like crap. All in front of my 6yr old
The diagnosis was spot on and the speed at which i received care was excellent.
Terrible experience, tried to refuse service multiple times for my child from receptionist. Had an issue with the doctor not testing what she was exposed to and only tested for things we already knew. Had an experience similar to this before here. Don’t waste your time just go to Middletown hospital or Newark’s care center.
Great experience, quick and convenient when you aren’t feeling the best. I have a primary, but they can’t match the convenience Christiana Care cannoffer
Was sent by my family physician to have a chest x Ray following a covid diagnosis. Was having terrible cough, fever, chills, aches. Got to the MAU, nurse practitioner did not want to do a chest x Ray and said my lungs sounded clear. He said it was post viral cough syndrome. My x Ray was never done and 2 days later I ended up In the ICU for 12 days with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure. Never again will I return to this place.
Only problem I have with this facility is that they need to do better with the cleaning. I’ve been here multiple times and the place is not as clean as it should be for a healthcare facility.
Checked in on-line 1 hour before (4:20 for a 5:30 slot) and they were over an hour behind at my allotted time! Then they saw my 6 year old and diagnosed her with pneumonia and gave an antibiotic and cough syrup for an adult. Luckily I realized the cough syrup was for an adult and didnt give it to her. Went to her normal physician the next morning and found out she really had a viral infection and needed no antiobiotic. I wasted hours of time, had my child sit in a waiting room for well over an hour and wasted my money on a copay and prescriptions that were completely inaccurate. I will never take my child there again.UPDATE: After seeing her primary where everything that CCHS determined was overturned, CCHS said they did the right thing. So either the provider at CCHS is unaware of how to properly diagnose pneumonia or my primary care doctor is. Since after a simple in-office treatment the next morning at her primary relieved her symptoms with no antibiotic, I am inclined to believe that CCHS at Middletown is unaware of how to properly diagnose pneumonia. Not only would the antibiotic not have treated her at all, she did not get the nebulizer treatment (1 time) she needed. It is very disappointing, when your concerns are swept under the rug.
Quick and efficient service with friendly staff
Very polite , on time appointment and feeling good about my diagnosis. I didn’t leave feeling like I wasn’t heard.
Visited the center on 10/30/21 for a foot injury. The entire staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Iris and Adetokunbo for their thoroughness and bedside manner.
Very pleased with my experience at this facility. All personnel were very professional and caring. Very nice updated technology in the office to sign in or make your appointment prior to coming. Highly recommend!
We were seen quickly, staff was professional and kind to my son, who is 6. The PA explained everything clearly and in detail and I felt reassured that my son would be okay.
Terrible place ! My daughter came in with glass in her foot and she’s 4 ! They refused care bc of an insurance card and refused to look up her insurance which is Medicaid!!! Money hungry establishment! Christiana health care should have left urgent care alone and definitely shouldn’t have went into business with these pigs ! I don’t recommend them whatsoever !
I’m standing there with an injured kid and they wouldn’t take the time to look up our insurance for us. I didn’t have the card. So I had to leave. Every medical office can look up and verify your insurance. They have to make sure it’s not fraud etc. displeased and rushing my son somewhere else.
Got checked in at 8:40 spent over 1 1/2 hours in waiting room only to have Dr Patrick Massaquoi spend not 5 minutes with me didnt check my throat or my hands just my ears and the same with my son. We were complaining if an ear infection. He prescribed us ear drops that costed 200.00 a peice 😌 who can afford 400.00 my daughter was just there and she had the same thing and Dr. Yucis prescribed her to thing that costed 20.00. I tried explaining this to him well that didnt work. I ended up calling back 4 times and still getting ear drops that costed 44.00 for a small half inch bottle of ear drops. Who can afford this. Not me so ended up just getting my sons meds and not mine. Ridiculous. NEVER. NEVER again. He had to be the worst Dr ever didnt even speak English correctly. Very upset spent 5 hoes getting this stuff straight. Not happy
The doctor refused to do the proper tests IE: stool samples in spite of an infectious disease specialist calling him and advising him to do so. The doctor there diagnosed me with travelers diarrhea. The totally wrong diagnosis. I suffered an additional week before ultimately being diagnosed with guardia. I was treated properly with testing and then medications by another doctor. If I could give no stars I would.
Quick service & diagnosis was provided.
